Andrew Heyman: I would recommend against this company that is rude, unprofessional and uncaring. Don't believe their marketing. I spent many thousands of dollars on furniture and was treated terribly. Go elsewhere.

Ellie Kesselman: This is the best resource in the U.S.A. for current (and historical) gov't documents. Building access and phone service for 11 hours per day. The Gov't Printing Office is one of the oldest federal agencies, and most reliable, useful.

United States Capitol: what do users think?

Zay McCullough, MSW, LCSW-A: This was the last major attraction I saw during my one week trip here from 12/28/21 to 1/4/2022. You can see the Capital Building from several blocks away. I actually remembered I needed to stop by because I saw it after exiting the Children’s Museum. It was a little after 5pm when we made it there. We say the reflecting pool, which is wider but shorter than the reflecting pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Unlike the latter, the Capitol’s reflecting pool isn’t easily accessible to stuck your feet it. The view, however, was still nice. This was my first time being in DC since I was in elementary school. It was extremely awesome to see the Capitol building. It was ironic that I had just watched Olympus Has Fallen on TV in my hotel just a day prior. Unfortunately, the perimeter of the building is gated off due to the events that transpired a year ago. I’m saddened to see that public access still isn’t available. Of course COVID is an added barrier to tours. Going inside is something that I wanted to do. I did not go to the visitors center that is close by as my son was ready to go back to the hotel, lol. There was a large Christmas tree in the lawn area between the capital building and the reflecting pool. Many people were taking pictures and appeared to be having a good time. I was grateful for the experience because I talked to my son (8) about what goes on in the building, the legislative bodies, and etc. I’m sure he’s forgotten everything we talked about but he can say he seen it in person whenever he does learn about it in school.

Ganindu Madhawa: A place where one can probe into the political history of USA.It is an iconic place and you need to reserve tickets beforehand visiting the place. You will be provided with a guide who give descriptive analysis of the architecture of the place and historical events. 😊

Yusra Nabeel: Such a great experience visiting one of the US symbols. Great place with beautiful reflection in pool.

Ali Shajarizadeh: This beautiful building is a must-see for everyone who visit Washington DC. The building has a long history. The place is where many important decisions were and are made that affects the world.

Nas Sol: The in-depth history of this iconic building is grander than I expected! A true beautiful from the exterior to the interior. I got a sense of appreciation after leaving from here. It can get very packed though so it's recommended you start your day early to beat the crowd. A must see when you're in DC!

Stephen Butler: My first time taking the tour. Our Representative arranged a VIP tour. It was very small and personal. There’s no cost, but if your going to take a tour book it in advance. It takes about 3 hours or so. It was worth the time. Please hit “Like” if this was helpful. Thanks.

Ben Henderson: Really enjoyed the tour inside the Capitol building. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Really interesting history and beautiful inside. Liked the fact you can then walk through a tunnel to cross over to the library of Congress which again was beautiful.

Keith Roussel: Visiting the Capitol building is fantastic experience. I visited with my family and it was a great opportunity to see some of our nation's history as well as the seat of power of the legislative branch. We booked a tour in advance from out state senator Ted Cruz. Our tour began at his office in the neighboring senate building. From there we took the underground trolly to the capitol building. Our tour guide took us through the various parts of the capitol biding explaining the building, decoration and history. After the tour we were able to view the senate and house of representative chamber. Each was unique. The House had a live reenactment of typical chamber proceedings which was nice, but once the reenactment was finished, we had to leave. The senate on the other hand had no reenactment, but we would stay as long as we like. I sat therefore a while attempting to etch the experience in my memory, which I personally valued more.

blade Galletta: This is a must visit in Washington D.C. The capital building is absolutely gorgeous. In the spring time there are many flowers and trees surrounding it to make it even better. The fountain in the front is very unique and perfect for pictures with the building. They have gates up with guards so you can't get really close. I think they do tours but you would have to research that on the website.

Isabelle Tran: Beautiful architecture from the outside. Recommended to book in advance for a tour. The park outside is a beautiful place to relax after a long day of touring, including some cherry blossom trees.

Office of Authentications: what do users think?

Willem Koenders: Afraid that I had a bad experience. We sent in a simple certificate of naturalization to be apostilled, which after a number of weeks still wasn't done. Then you have to call to get a status update, where you have to come prepared with ~10 data points on your request or they won't even talk to you. But even worse, when trying to call, you can only call between 9am and 3pm. So trying to do that, been on hold for ~2 hours, without any sort of indication how many people are ahead of me or estimated remaining waiting time. Do these people think I don't have a job to do during the day - should I just take the whole day off just to be able to call for a status update?

Grammy Henderson: I am not sure where to go or who to ask I am trying to get a birth certificate I was born in Ho chI min city Vietnam and nobody can seem to help me does anybody on here have any clue up to where or how I can get a birth certificate from Vietnam

Zoey K: I'm wondering if anybody is working at this place. I mailed my FBI background check for authentication almost three months ago. I have been tracking the return mail everyday, but I haven't received it yet. I tried to call several times, but no one answered and someone just hung up on me right after answered one time. Finally I needed to cancel my plans and I wasted $70. I understand that they are working with limited number of employees during this pandemic, but they should have stated expected time line exactly on their website; so, people do not waste their money and time. Also, there should be a online status check if no one wants to answer the phone.

Eugenio Quantro-Plaga: When are they planning to reopen or at least have more people working? I completely support being Covid safe, but they have been closed for over a year and this is an essential service for most visa applications to be processed. In the case of Spain the background check with apostille has to be three months old or less in order to be valid. If it takes this office 3 months to issue the apostille that means it will automatically be invalid by the time the person recieves it. To make matters worse this is the only place you can get your FBI background check apostilled.

Mihow McKenny: In early April, I sent a document in order to receive an apostille for it. The office confirmed receipt quickly. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone gave me a clear estimate of the total processing time, which is 2-3 months.

Travis Jones: I got my document back after 3.5 months - so it's no longer valid. The guy who answered the phone was nice enough, but they're understaffed and overwhelmed. I suggest that you check the vaccine schedule for DC and Loudon County, VA to see when they're allowed to start going back to the office, or call them and check.

Dan Hickman: These reviews are unjust. I operate an apostille service and request FBI Background Check Apostille services almost every day; therefore, I call the authentication office often and the employees are always very nice, helpful and friendly. The long delays in 2020 are obviously not their fault and they have no ability to add more staff, increase hours, etc. This group is working long hours to get things done, and I am appreciative of their hard work!

Veronica Harvey: I mailed in my documents to be apostilled on May 27th, and received them back about one month later at the end of June. Definitely a long processing time but they came back to me. I left a ton of messages and they did finally return my call and leave me a voicemail. They're still open, but operations are much slower.

Aashna Virmani: The worst experience ever with the Office of Auth. They are not professional at all and representatives hang up on you that’s if you can ever get to them. They have wasted my time and I hope I never have to deal with them ever again in my life. Unfriendly and rude staff who don’t care about you or the situation that you may be in because of delays from their end. With so many bad reviews I’m shocked nothing is being done about this. There should be an option to give 0 star in google reviews.

Cristina Muñoz: I've been waiting almost 3 months for an Apostille. I don't blame the employees, they are as much victims of this pandemic as anyone else, but the systemic failures of our federal government to meet the needs of its citizenry in a time of crisis is a travesty. No one answers the phone, and no way to get status updates.

United States Postal Service: what do users think?

Amanda Benton: This post office has the best people and is so efficient. Especially the passport manager. I've tried to use other locations like Georgetown and they are not as good.

Victoria Bunk: Would not recommend going here. I had a non machinable letter, they tried to charge me again even though the stamp I already paid for said “non machinable”. Would not trust letters dropped off here.

Kathryn Gilliland: ZERO. This used to be my favorite post office but I just received the RUDEST treatment I’ve ever gotten at any post office ever in my life. I’m trying to mail 30 holiday cards in a standard envelope size that are a tad poofy. At first they were rejected because of their width and the woman stated that they were packages and would cost 5 dollars to ship A PIECE. I indicated that it was cardboard and I could flatten it if the air to fit the standard letter width (a device that measures the width that if you can fit it through, it’s a letter.) Once I flattened it and fit it through the slot easily, she still refused to accept them and would not explain to me why. I was patiently and politely asking her, if it fits through the slot, and it’s light, what makes it a package? She would not answer. She offered no other options or help. She was hostile from beginning to end. I understand how difficult people can be as I’m a waitress, but I wasn’t being rude and needed help. Then she said, “I said what I said,” and stormed off to the back like a child. The supervisor was not there for me to speak to at 3:30. No one helped me after she disappeared. There was a long line behind me and the only other person working there was completely busy. What a disappointment. I’ll be going to another post office forever. UPDATE: I put all my cards in a mailbox and they were all delivered. Clearly my cards were standard size.

Diana Chaves: Best customer service! They are very kind and knowledgeable, they won’t rush you and will help you in every step of the way for whatever you need to do

Scott Hackenburg: This place is kinda hard to find on maps. the post office is located within an indoor mall of sorts. You will have to take an elevator down to the "CL" level and you will see the post office. from the street this is not seen. I walked by the "mall" like three times until I figured out I needed to go in. Once there the employees are super helpful. if you need a self addressed envelope for any embassy, they have those no problems! I just walked in and didn't have to wait in any lines and got immediate assistance. No too bad for a major city post office, plan on being in and out in quickly. Hope this helps!

Shely McGuire: My goal was to ask USPS a question over the phone regarding inaccurate mail delivery. I tried 2 different phone numbers listed online. On both numbers, I received the same recorded message. After pressing 0 and requesting to speak to an Agent, the automated voice kept repeating the same phrase. My call was never transferred to an Agent. Why doesn't the call menu have an option number to speak to an agent? The USPS should install this feature, enabling their automated system to be more customer service oriented.

Micheline Frias: The best post office experience I've had! All the staff in this location are patient, friendly, knowledge and swift. I have rarely ever had to wait to get attended. Keep up the great work :-).

Phillip P.: Unkempt and understaff. Very long lines taking an average of 5 minutes per customer.

Vishal Sinha: I know USPS and the like "government services" are often associated with bad customer service, long wait times, and overall sub par shopping experience. But not all locations nor all employees would fall in that category. I have been to this location of USPS a few times now and on all these occasions my experience has been very middle of the road. I wont say the service was top notch with a feeling of being taken care of; nor was it bad where I came away with negative feelings regarding that location.Maybe, that is a "win" for USPS :) I had stopped by to mail a letter bound for an international destination. The person helping me advised on all the various charges depending on the delivery time frame - from overnight to 10+ business days. She also gave me all the paperwork that I had to fill out in order for me to mail the letter over. She even let me cut back in line once I was ready. Overall, a decent experience at this USPS!

tia hinds: I have had my fair share of experiences with the post office but every time I come into this location they are always friendly and helpful. Today Myra went above and beyond to help me locate a package that I needed to stop transit on. I cannot remember the other nice lady who has worked there for years name but she was also so kind and helpful. I really appreciate the staff here.

Babar R: I stopped by as I had a few questions, I was lucky to have met Mr. Barnes. He was patient, knowledgeable and someone who was really concerned and truly wanted to help. I felt meeting an old friend. He is an asset to the Customs & Border protection. This is my second time stopping by since last year and was extremely satisfied, by the service provided.

Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States (TECRO): what do users think?

Wajahat S: I had a simple question about visiting Taiwan but Employee seemed to brush me aside with fewest words. I would not describe the conversation diplomatic, or even friendly. One would imagine the Staff appointed to an important country would be competent and trained to answer in a polite and professional manager, more importantly to the satisfaction of the caller. Very disappointing to say the least, I would describe it as undeserving arrogance, based on ignorance of some sort.

Christian Jarvis: Incredibly kind and helpful staff. When I contacted TECRO, I was asking for a Taiwanese flag for my collection. I quickly received a reply and it was very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, the first time the flag never showed up so it was most likely the Post Office at fault. About a month later I contacted them again and I almost immediately got a response and they offered to send me a new flag and that they were sorry the original one never showed up. 11/10 service, I love Taiwan!

Brillante Wang: Lady on the phone (authentication department) was super unpleasant. I called to clarify an email she sent me because the instructions were unclear/seemed inaccurate. A couple "highlights": - While I was explaining why I was calling, she kept interrupting saying, "Sir STOP. Listen to me. It's very simple. Just follow the email I sent you." - When she finally understood my question she said, "Okay so then you can do X instead. It's in the email". It was not. It's sad because I really love Taiwan (where my family is from) but she was the worst. Giving two stars because at least she responded to my email quickly.

FM Chen: it will be merged with Chinese embassy in the near future. :) so good!

Hsiao-Ying Lin: Warm reception and wonderful services. It’s a place which reminds me of my motherland Taiwan.

CJZ: Friendly and professional officers.

Chinling Hsu: Lady Wenda in passport department was really nice and helpful. All my issues about renewing passport were all resolved, it really make my day!

sammi hong: Lady on the phone was idiotic . I second that . I called this morning asked about how to apply passport. First she told me to call back thirty minutes. I called back she told me to call back 40 minute . Because she is extremely busy. Third times I called she told me call back after 4pm. This is terrible and not acceptable. It’s shame that Taiwan government employees is so unprofessional .

mmt yci: Lady on the phone was idiotic. She kept talking over me then laughed at me as if I was dumb when she was the one with poor English or listening skills. I called to find out if any documents needed to be authenticated via their office for working in TW or if U.S. Dept of State authentication was enough. She replied by saying "You want us to authenticate your FBI check?" I said "No, I'm ASKING if I NEED it authenticated or not." She said "Yes, you do that's what I just asked you but you said NO! Hahaha hehehe" Idiot. Want is not need. And want indicates a Request whereas I was asking a Question not making a request. Learn how to use English properly and learn how to be professional. Also, she said one "cannot go there on the 90 day no-visa tourist stay and start working, it's not gunna work" when I asked if job search/interviews were okay. Job searching is not working and obviously properly documents would be filed or I wouldn't be calling to find out the answers she never gave. In the end she said each employer is different and there are no set TW requirements. The fee is $15. She went on and on about mail in steps even though I was planning to walk-in. She gave me no walk in or appointment information.

Antonio Liao: They get the job done, just expect the kind of service from any government employee.....

Chidinma Iwuji: The private website you use for the search public documents socks. I did a search on it and actually found the document, I clicked on on of the documents to see if that is what I am looking for, it was not what I was looking for. I tried to go back and click on another document, it kicked me out. I logged in again and did the same search again, and it was giving me documents that has no relation to my search. I rebooted my computer and did the same search, now it is telling me it finds no document that march my search.

Madalyn Cook: Had a fraudulent order, called and the agent kept insisting on an order #, since I didn't place the order I did not have one, I had canceled the transaction through my credit card. Simply trying to make sure it did not get filled, she was very rude and stated it was cancelled already and hung up on me.

Theekshana Fernando: Did not get fair and courteous customer service as a person of colour. The white people that came in after me were spoken to and treated so much better than I was.
Response: On behalf of United States Mint, I would like to apologize for the unpleasant experience that you encountered in visiting our store. It is the Mint’s mission to ensure that all of our customers are treated equally, with courtesy and respect. We will take this opportunity to revisit staff training and customer service engagement.

Robert: Visited in 2008 and purchased a fantastic 2008 Bald Eagle Clad Half Dollar Coin

Chris Byrne: Hit near closing on a Friday. I feel (coin store) inventory would have excited me more if knew more about coins. So that's my shortcoming, not theirs. I lean more to unusual or even freakish coins like UFO Canadian coins , etc. The distinction between vintage and mint location of more "common" looking coins doesn't flaberghast me a lot. Guy there seemed serious minded and knowledgable. It's always a plus in ANY sort of biz when staff knowledgable.

Brett Powell: I got what I was after (a year-based collectible souvenir). There were no tours available, but we were only after the shop. Prices were good. Kids were given a small, free gift. The staff could have told the kids about the coins and the process for hours, if we didn't have to get away.

christopher geoghegan: I have purchased many coins from the DC Mint store over the years, even when the satellite store was in Union Station. The staff are generally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products. There is no sales tax on the item, so it always seems like a discount to the price.

Dustan D: It is just a very small store available to the public I didn't believe the reviews but yes no tours here. Very nice guy running the counter and very helpful. Tours for coin making in Philadelphia or in DC tour the paper money at the Bureau of engraving and printing down by the Washington monument.

carlos fuller: This is a great location to pick up mint coin sets. There never a line and No museum to walk though. Just walk in turn to the right and there is the counter. The service os first class I had time to examine a few different sets before choosing a few.

Ethan Stein: Decent store selling coins and bills from the mint. The selection was decent but it was very over priced for everything and certain things have a premium, don’t waste your time here.

Henry T.: Great staff, nice little hidden shop to get great new Proof Sets and all manner of proof coins. A great place to stop if you're a coin collector.

M Williams: The heartbeat of the FBI!!

Andrew Smart: I've been trying to contact y'all for 6 years somebody's using my name my account they're hacked my numbers my emails I don't even have an email I just bought a phone yesterday and can't have an email because it says I got too many accounts I can't even afford a pizza yet alone I'll just bought a $1,500 MacBook on Amazon can y'all please help me Andrew smart 108 Ward Street in Baytown Texas number four

Mohegan Weber: Did not help me at all. Called numerous times about potential crimes happening or current crimes that were occurring and the FBI was not interested in reporting or dealing with them. Over the course of the past year I have called them 15 times about and 10 of those times they hung up on me before I could even tell them what was happening. Even when I had evidence of actual crimes that were occurring they refused to help or assist me even when I told them the local police were not helping me at all. I am not sure what business allows their representatives to repeatedly hang up on callers, but it’s happened to me a lot calling into the FBI from numerous locations. The part that bothered me the most was that they did not even record the crimes, so if anything happened with the situations there would be no recorded evidence on record for other legal authorities to refer to.

Nnamdi Azikiwe: The plaque on the rear of the FBI building states the Knights of Pythias was founded on that spot. It was actually closer to the 10th of street corner. The building later became Marini's Hall. It was there Henrietta Vinton Davis made her debut as an actress elocutionist and dramatic reader in 1883 where she was introduced by Frederick Douglass.

Andrea Lawrence: The FBI Experience Center is a great tour that explains the different jobs within the FBI and what they are responsible for. It also covers some of the top FBI cases and has evidence from the cases on display such as letters from the Unabomber and the boat from the Boston bombing. Definitely worth a trip if you have the opportunity to go!

Tung Pham: Almost missed it even I was just walking. It's kind of discreet and lowkey. Some men walked out for lunch in suit look intense as heck.

Lu A: Can you focus on Ethiopia house issues because I just got insulted by that rent our house and the government made law about housing and she still living inside my house very cheap price damaging property and still she think she own the house not rent she even said not business on my house, get her out from my house, she insulted and disrespect me, she still living our house cheap price and damaging the property

Anthony Scott: The FBI experience was really a great thing to see. They have many unique stories and artifacts from many of our countries most trying times, e.g. 911, the Boston bombing and even the Oklahoma City bombing. They even had the boat they found one of the brothers from the Boston bombing with all of the bullet holes.

Rick Adragna: Definitely set aside a couple of hours for your. Great hands on for kids too.

Isanka Wijerathne: If you are around in DC and interesting about FBI, here is the place. But, I think now allowed to go inside as tourist.

U.S. Park Police Headquarters: what do users think?

Jason Steitler: As the 2020 protest settlement didn't include an apology for police conduct, the agency has yet to retrieve its honor from that day.

Karl H: Okay these police "dudes" are tasked with crowd control at a tourist place. They do have to be ready for the worst case scenarios. They look like the gestapo in many cases. Some were okay, made eye contact and so forth. Others seemed a bit aloof. Had one officer who didn't like the way I parked, got angry when I asked for information on correcting the issue yelling at me "ROLL". Being a smart-ass I retorted back, "Excuse me, didn't you mean have a nice day". He got really irritated, got out his car, and tried to intimidate me by threatening to cite me. When I responded with "Dude, I'm just trying to figure out how to get out of here." he got really pissed. "In the first place, I'm not dude, I'm officer and went on with his attempt at intimidation. The conversation went further south so to say. Fortunately his supervisor was there, interceded and calmed things down. So this officer got all control freak in his behavior over ~a parking issue~. He wasn't concerned over anyone being harmed, drugs being transported, or anything remotely criminal in nature. He was to exhibit that he was in absolute control over *patrons* at a museum area over a parking issue. I found the situation to be simply ridiculous. To the officer I would suggest he try to remember a single day at work in which a patron didn't make some mistake that didn't conflict with some rule. Is it appropriate to treat any of them with indignation and anger. Or is there perhaps a better option for handling these situations that occur every single day of your career at the National Mall?

Ann Best: I'm a Retired DC Police Officer and I know that these Police here have big issues with their positions. They don't have any respect for other Police officers n other jurisdiction. They need to learn how to talk to people. They need to learn How to Community Policing. They're pure Asswholes. Wait until one of them come to aid u and you'll see the true colors of these Asswholes. Black r worse than the White ones. There's a lot of them that can't come to certain locations in DC because they have been sued or the Judge has given them a stay away from certain places because of their Not knowing how to talk to people. 😇 Talk about what u have experienced, not just give them good ratings and u haven't seen them in action. God bless the people who have to be in their company. It's not gonna be a good experience. 👮🏾‍♀️👮🏾‍♂️👩🏿‍✈️👨🏾‍✈️👥👥

Uncle Shep: They look sharp and are sharp. Those that gave bad reviews could not pass the entry tests. Thank you for putting your life on the line for us.

DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education: what do users think?

rhondadc: Some very nice and professional staff members that works on the school buses. But it lacks a lot of structure. Sometimes they don't come, come late or fail to follow their own policies. Not well organized

Queen Brittany: The tete group hired me for a project. If this was to represent OSSE - i feel discouraged for my students and youth and DC residents. Project was very unorganized, quickly put together and not held with high standards! Please look into this!-

Swagstay Athome: I was never helped in a complaint i made about a S.E. D.C.P.S elementary school that had a crooked MPD officer who wife works there, had people gaslighting me and harassing my daughter with lesbian words to upset us with those lies all in a vilification-campaign towards me as a formal ANC 7e-04 just because of retaliation for some one I complained about in the MPD for slandering my character. Some one here never took my complaints seriously! I love D.C. but this hate has to stop!

Travis Haage: Cafeteria closed to visitors until further notice as of Monday 6/6/22. We checked out the Friday Farmers Market across the street and there's a lot of stuff to eat there but only on Friday.

0lguy louis: Lovely place great people

Patrick Prentice: Really cool place with lots of interesting information 😊👍

D N: They don't even have the courtesy- responding to applicants/candidates after interviewed. What a joke FSIS!

Vladimir Mako: Near by building is small and very nice garden. There is a market every Friday.

Pei-Hsuen Liao: One if the biggest buildings I've ever seen. It just seems to go on forever. Don't forget to look up at it when you drive by.

DC Office of Tax and Revenue: what do users think?

languageb: Yes, this is a very hard office to contact. Trying to contact someone about owed taxes, you'd think they would have a special number for collecting revenue, The hold bug got me for 20 minutes then the line disconnected. There are some well run services in DC, but this is not one of them. I am writing an updated review 6.21.22. I spent a week trying to contact this office via phone without a response, but I just decided to show up at the office as walk-in and take my chances. I was able to speak with someone, address my tax issues and receive a tax installment plan to "handle my business". Recommendation try to deal with this in person and go down to the main office.

Joralemon Virgincreche: My accountant e-filed my deceased sister's return 8 months ago with death certificate and Letter of Administration from probate court saying I can claim the refund. DC sends me a letter saying they need the death certificate and LOA to issue the refund. I called, explained he sent it, they tell me the seals aren't legible. So I make legible copies of each and mailed them in 5 months ago. I call today (after an hour on hold) and ask if they got the copies I mailed. After an hour of asking whether they got the copies, I'm still not sure what the answer is. All she kept saying is, "the seals aren't legible." Yes, that's why I MAILED clean copies to you. Did you get them? "Please either fax them in, or come in to the office and show us." So you think faxes would show legible seals? The problem is, the people who answer the phone are in a Call Center, they're not the people who open the mail and see the actual paper. All they can see is stuff on a screen. I kept asking to speak with her supervisor, she kept dodging. I don't even know what to do next - call Eleanor Holmes Norton's office?

Phil Subscription: They do this cool thing where if you mail in an on-time payment but the post office loses your mail, you have to pay a penalty and interest. If you try to appeal the fees, you get denied. Really cool, really great. An awesome overall experience.

Mike Koritko: 5 stars for Sean Workman at OTR. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Solved a business tax issue I had been unable to solve on the phone or online. There was little wait and he solved the problem quickly and told me how to follow up if there was further action needed from my end. I was in and out in probably 40 minutes. Now if I were rating OTR phone service (spent an hour and 37 minutes on hold yesterday before giving up) or email service… it would certainly not be 5 stars.

Samuel Peterson: When calling on behalf of clients, I regularly hold for two hours before being disconnected. We just want to pay you your money. Why not make it easier?

Doohee Kim: DC O.T. R is the most incompetent and unprofessional organization I have ever death with. They did withdrawal the money accidently and requested the penalty even though they did make a mistake. Whenever I called them what they said was "wait". I haven't seen this unprofessional incompetent organization in my life. This is the worst.

Jeremiah Farmer: I'm 100% done with this ridiculous city. Born and raised and nothing will change that but my God the taxes take beyond the wait time. Never fails. They can't blame covid because this has been this way long before covid existed. Being a service member I have changed my residency and drivers license. I did my taxes over a month ago. They said UP TO 6 WEEKS. I entered my info in the automated part of the phone line and they said they can't find my info. Well H&R Block says otherwise and so does the DC Tax site as well. Same message for the longest time. I don't blame the worker bees...but someone should take the initiative and help their fellow Washingtonians out. UPDATE...got a call back and they tell me...up to 8 weeks when the site says 6. Well its been UP TO 6 WEEKS. I am active duty, I can't just leave my location. Its direct deposit so don't understand why the wait.

killgates covidlie: Can I give zero star?? DC O.T. R is the most incompetent organization I have ever death with. After 11 years, with a grim, cheer and joy to announce that I will moving away from this City and never have to deal with them ever again. I now know to why this country is failing tragically, I saw it first hand dealing with OTR.

Christain Gray: I been on Hold for 2hrs now they said my calm time was 56 mins how did I get to 2:10:30sec this crazy

loraine Wooden: I am having the same issue like many of those who have posted comments. In March, I filed my taxes with TurboTax. Received my Federal refund in less than a week. Went to the DC Tax website in April to inquire about my refund and the automated system said that it was processed and issued in April. After several phone calls over a span of three weeks, I finally talked to a real person ( always on hold for more than an hour). This representative told me that they sent out a check. I told her that I never received the check and that it should have been direct deposit. She said that she would stop payment on the check and would mail me another one. This was more than three weeks ago! Here I am calling yet again being placed on hold forever! What a bunch of hockey pucks!

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission: what do users think?

Brian Pratt: Corrupt. The American people have lost faith in our markets and those who are supposed to help regulate. Gary Gensler is a Goldman phony. Works for the banks and Hedgefunds not Main St. Spineless, pathetic organization that is responsible for allowing trillions of dollars to be stolen from the American Public though Dark Pool and Naked Shorting.

William Lolli: When an agency of government tasked by the People and the Rule of Law to protect the investing Public violates the public trust by abandoning standards of clarity for policies of enforcement, secret meetings, and nod-winking innuendos which deliberately result in markets and technologies being manipulated to the personal benefit of current and former agency leadership, the agency has lost all public trust and itself should be in danger of collapse by the weight of its own corruption. -- Such is the case of the SEC. A failed agency, failing in its mission, boasting of its moral superiority, aiding in the establishment of market monopolies and crushing innovation.

W R: This place is rather corrupt. They told me I need $25,000 to place multiple trades in a day for my own "protection." Then also let brokers who were about to go bankrupt from a liquidity crisis to disable my ability to exchange on the stock market.

Luis G.: Is possible to give 0 stars? The American people need you and your organization is turning your back on us. When history looks back on the 2020’s they will remember how the SEC left it’s countries people stranded and suffering shortly after a pandemic wiped out many of their businesses and jobs.

Jeremy Kintz: Seems kinda worthless. Only protect Wall St while ignoring Main St. They say they work for our protection. If you can play the lottery, join the military for legal murder, and buy as much alcohol as you want, then you should be able to trade your money as you see fit.

Gustavo H. Galvanini-Boldrini: Spot etf!! 50 major countries have it, including Canada, Brazil and Germany. We want a crypto spot ETF. Why are you delaying the innevitable? Bulgaria, Japan... How long more, & why? It's 2022 Gary, and you know blockchain is the future. Thanks.

Michael Andrews: SEC should be embarrassed for not taking action to make markets fair, casinos are better regulated than wallstreet. We need same day settlements, end all dark pools they are being abused and not used for their intended purposes. How do you let a broker stop buying but not selling. Please SEC get it together.

CH K: Staff attorneys are also great law school professors!

Sonny Bara: Failed to protect the retail investor. That’s literally their #1 job!!! They help hedge funds rob money from the people they are supposed to protect.

Ad1eUK: Corruption runs rife, they offer no protection to the retail public. Gary Gensler has let everyone down and will remembered for such!

Bureau of Engraving and Printing: what do users think?

Kailash Mota: A must visit place, if you happen to tour / visit Washington DC. The admission is absolutely free, though you have to take a free ticket. The tour of this place takes about 30 minutes. Except in the reception / entrance area, photography is banned. The Souvenir stores has some memorable items that you can carry for your memories. Its a guided tour and guides explain the entire currency printing process in detail while you actually get to see the currencies being printed. All in all a must visit place while touring this region

Jack Chambless: Took my sons here years ago and it was an extremely educational and exciting experience. They were amazed by all they learned and we loved how well run and thoughful this place was.

Danny Coonradt: Situated next to the Holocaust memorial, it's a good idea to do these in tandem if you have the time. The wait for the stand-by tour was fairly reasonable (15 minute wait at noon 9/21/17). Even though the security was less than pleasant, the process moved fairly quickly. Overall, the tour felt intriguing, yet underwhelming. Walkways were small and a bit claustrophobic, lending itself to an "unimmersive" mood. As for the printing itself, the rooms are fairly small and contained, but were actually very interesting for the short time we observed them. It's worthwhile for informative how-do-they-do-it questions, but didn't have a massive all-around appeal as I expected. Also, the lack of photography (for security reasons), makes it less memorable if you're into taking pictures. No cameras is a big thing there.

Terry Trent: After the several visits to DC over the years, I never stopped to visit this spot until this visit. Very nice to visit. Could only see the outside.

Kristie Pecka: Fun tour to see the making of printed bills. Tour with a guide, no head sets as described in previous reviews. Short and sweet... 30 min. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Lei Wang: Free admission but you need to pick up tickets behind the building in 15th St. basically to book your free tour. The tour is very informative and useful.

Diego Villatoro: It was a good experience and it was very interesting

Gail Neeley: This was the most disappointing tour I had while in DC. You have to go through so much security because you observe money being printed, but in reality it would be like touring any other printing shop. The interaction between the tour guide and the tour is poor. You line up on a catwalk to see the process and the tour guide talks over a loud speaker. It would have been much more interesting if they would have spend some time on the engraving process, perhaps with invitations or stamps.

Allanah: Flat 30 min tour with guy reading from cue cards in a monotone way. Philadelphia's mint is much better. Free tickets available. I went in August and got tickets for 9h15a.m. tour. When I left at 9:45, people were able to get tickets for the 10am tour. In not sure about the rush to go early. Go through security about 15 minutes before tour, explore the gallery and boutique before going to start the tour. The tour is stopping in front of four windows. Done in 30 minutes. All you see are large printers. Not worth the time.

Wynde Sprinkle: No where on their web site does it say it is closed. Very disappointed! Please update your website.

U.S. Department of Education: what do users think?

Lei Wang: Compared with other beautiful buildings with lots of art details, the Dept. of Education building is very simple and concise

Jay Rogers: A giant waste of taxpayer money. Every state and municipality has their own unique regional history and story. Education needs to be handled at the local level so we can have more character, innovation, responsibility, accountability, and frugality. End this organization now. It was created by Jimmy Carter to appease the teachers unions (who hate school choice). States and towns are better equipped to understand the children's needs than federal bureaucrats. No Child Left Behind was a giant failure and Common Core represents one size fits all nonsense.

America Artist of the Quantic Planetary Renaissance: Has been a... Sweet like candy experience and for such .... I need to get... Wiser ... Thanks for all

Amy Graff: Had a tour of the OET office. The artwork on the first floor by children was enlightening.

Luke: An american school which actually teaches you stuff, that's a first!

Max Crawford: They need to get better.
