James Dreyer: I've had several issues with this pharmacy - more than once I've been called saying my prescriptions are ready, only to arrive and have them nowhere to be found - I've even spoken with the pharmacist directly over the phone to confirm, and then arrived to be told that they didn't have it (this happened 3 times last month). For what's supposed to be a professional service, their pharmacy counter seems startlingly disorganized, and there seems to be a lack of urgency or accountability on their end for something as important as prescription medications.

Greg Lennon: The worst experiences here even though it’s only 2 blocks from my house. I’m always waiting 20+ minutes at the pharmacy, even though there is only 1-2 people in front of me. Then they refuse to fill my daily medication because it’s been 29 days not 30 and I run out tomorrow - so i have to come back in the day I’m out and hope they have it in stock in order to do my job properly. Will never be coming back - go the CVS 2 blocks away.

Stephanie Mercedes //: If i could give this pharmacy a lower rating I would - this is the WORST pharmacy I have ever used. I have been here four times and called multiple times and they still managed to mix up my prescription even after calling me and telling me it was ready. I would recommend hitting your head against a wall before using this pharmacy. I have no idea why walgreens hates its costumer’s so much or why they are so dedicated to horrific customer experience. I also witnessed another woman being denied her medication. HORRIBLE!!!! TERRIBLE!!! SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!

Serenity M: I usually don’t shop at Walgreens but since the closing of the local CVS I started transitioning to Walgreens. I’m kind of glad that I did so because the store is clean and beautiful. I think the long lines should be worked out a bit better but overall I had a great experience. The staff was ok and the employee Miguel was a joy, he greeted me and was very knowledgeable of the store. He made sure he took care of me and the other customers especially with the king lines. I think I will definitely be back!

Mei-Ling Campbell: The pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone. I was on hold for 2 hours yesterday. I almost busted my stitches screaming at the phone when the pharmacy hung up on me the twice today. I just had surgery and can’t exactly walk up there. Their app won’t let me sign in because there’s a glitch that won’t allow the state to be entered. I’m getting my meds moved elsewhere because the level of inadequacy for a pharmacy that’s supposed to care about people’s well-being is just ridiculous.

Kareem Yakub: This post is a confirmation of my previous two-star review. First comes the good: the store is in immaculate shape, the selection is great, and products are in stock. Then there’s the bad: never waited in such a long line at the pharmacy, never been in such an inefficient line at the register where there’s one cashier and two workers up front who aren’t helping, and never given up on making a purchase cause no one arrived to unlock the shelf for me to get an item (toothpaste). Conclusion: a store is only as good as the people who work in it. Either hire more workers or train them better.

Phillip Reinhardt: For the past 5 months in a row... it's a headache getting my prescription refilled. The back and forth causes countless followups and a 2-3 week delay. I had enough and now get everything delivered, no issues, with Capsule. Sorry Walgreens... but ya won't be seeing me for a long while.

Taquila Clark: I visited Walgreens formerly known as rite aide after there grand opening and I must say the prices are a bit higher but the store is beautiful and clean. The staff are ok and the manager Miguel and Lahsen are always so nice and helpful.

Mandy Slutsker: The pharmacy doesn’t answer the phone, not even when other pharmacies or doctor office’s call. The staff always look overwhelmed and the wait times are long. Please hire more staff for the pharmacy and train them better.

Minnyon Bey: I've been at this Sephora 1000 F St.NW several times and I don't like the atmosphere! I only go there because it's close to my home! I went there today to return an item I ordered at Sephora.com! I was having problems returning the item because my credit card wouldn't go through! The supervisor or the cashier wasn't very helpful in finding a solution to my problem! It was as if they could care less! Poor customer service! Stores today don't mind taking your money however customer service in most places are awful! And this store is on the list of poor customer service in my book! Anyway I had to call Sephora.com for a solution to return this item I don't want! I will no longer go to Sephora at this location!!

Nicole DiAntonio: I LOVE visiting this MAC Makeup Union Station not only for the makeup, but for the people! I first met Carla when she helped me pick out makeup for my job. She had the best advice. Now, anytime I have a promo shoot, I always call Carla to see if she is available to do a professional makeover! When I had my wedding reception this summer, she traveled to Annapolis to do my makeup, along with my mom, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. She is the best! Highly recommend.

Danielle Scott: I’ve came to this location three times before. The first time I was 6 months pregnant (2014) I don’t remember the make up artist name. And the last two times was recently. Each visit was pleasant. This review is for my recent visit 3/22/22 My make up artist name was Tashae she was very professional, knowledgeable and took her time when applying my make up, gave me a variety of products to try out that worked for me. She answered all my questions that I had and also gave me makeup recommendations. On top of regular skin care tips because you have to take care of your skin underneath the foundation. I wanted a more of a natural look i was celebrating my 30th birthday and she went above and beyond to assist me which made my day even more special. And I received so many complements on my look. 😍The store was clean and stocked with products. I was in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much Tashae you are amazing.

Sloane Salkey: Most helpful and kind Mac store I've been in. I was greeted and asked if I needed help within a short time of entering, even while everyone was busy. At other locations - I walk in, and some employees act like they don't see me, even when not helping other customers. Really appreciated the help I got. They were patient and got me all the samples I wanted and gave very informed explanations about the products I was choosing between. Will be coming back here instead of pentagon city now.

I needed a look that was clean and sophisticated without being boring. Alex did a complete makeover in less than 30 minutes! Smokey eye, lashes, contour, foundation, eye brows, EVERYTHING!!! She is truly gifted and her personality is magnetic. I had so many compliments about my makeup from strangers and event attendees alike that night. She even stayed late to get me ready for my big event. She shared tips and techniques that I could use when doing my own makeup. Alex is now my makeup artist when I come to DC and I couldn't be any happier!

S A: Please beware that a portion of your online order may not be available at this store. When the portion is unavailable they may provide you with what they think is an appropriate substitute without informing you ahead of time. This happened with my order that was delivered with the wrong colors. From other reviews, this is a recurring issue under the current management with Lauren. The solution by party city was for me to return the order to obtain a 15% discount if the delivery person returned it or 20% discount if I returned it in person. This wasn't initially made clear as I had to call the store again to find out why I had not received any refund. The "policies" for what party city offers when THEIR employees make a mistake are absurd. Why would a customer want to drive to the store to return balloons when they were initially ordered for delivery? There is also no guarantee I would get my order when needed if I sent it back by the delivery service. Had someone called me before sending my order out, this would not be an issue. Supposedly, I will receive a refund per Lauren in 3-5 days. In addition, someone else mentioned in a review Lauren hung up on them. While she did say bye, it was an abrupt hanging up as I was mid sentence.

Aurelie Boissy: Place has great stuff for party at affordable price but customer service is not as good! I was looking for an item and two workers kept sending on the back alley instead of helping!

Miss Williams: Management are terrible don’t care about complaints. The staff are even worse. Orders are NEVER ready so I’m not sure why I’m given a pick up time slot when items are ready or they can’t locate. Absolutely worse so I take my business to the Rockville location that’s out my way and never have issues there.

Caroline Godwin: Terrible experience. I put in an order 4 days ago for curbside pickup today. Ordered NYE decorations, confetti poppers and balloons. My husband went to pick up today, balloons out of stock (got several messages they were ready) had to settle for some balloons they picked for us, confetti out of stock, no replacement offered, no email notification. I called the store, she told me they were out of stock since I put my order in and I had likely not been charged! No notification, the confetti were on my invoice when I ordered. So instead of curbside pickup, my husband had to go in to purchase confetti, and was offered the box that is 3 times the price of the ones I ordered. He was told he was getting a discount, but he still paid $12.71 instead of the full $12.99 + tax price. I am beyond angry. Very poor customer service especially for a store in the "party" business!!!!

Angela Jackson: You have a bunch of kids working at your locations who waste customer time. If you can not fulfill an order then tell your customer you are canceling when you call, do not say you are going to partially fulfill an order then turn around and cancel it. Do not say you are coming right out with product if you canceled the order. Completely unacceptable and THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Learn how to communicate or shut the store down. YOU DESERVE ZERO STARS.

noga ibrahim: I’d didn’t have a great experience like the one I had at this store in a along time. The manager, Lauren, and the lady on the cashier were super amazing. Here is what happened. Me and my kid went to the store at 930 pm and it was closed. My son gets all upset because he wanted to get his Halloween costume. He is crying and I am trying to calm him down and promising him that we will come back in the morning, but no luck. Lauren came and was locking the door asked me what is going on and I told that the closing time on the website is different from what they had on the store front. She apologize and ask me to come in the morning and told me that she will give me a discount. She was sweet to my son as well.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Victoria K: The pharmacist, Joe, is highly incompetent. I’m visiting from out of town and had a physician call in a nausea medication for me around 1 PM on 4/8. The physician stated he had never had such difficulty calling in a prescription before - not even for anything related to the medication, sig, or dosing - but because the pharmacist, Joe, could not understand the patient name is “Victoria” and not “Bigtoria.” Odd because Victoria is a fairly common name whereas the latter is not. It would’ve been comical, except for the fact that I went to the pharmacy approximately 24 hours after it was called in to pick up my medication and Joe told me he didn’t have it ready. He stated, “I told the physician you needed to call the pharmacy because we did not have an account for you.” But that was false, because I was with the physician when he called it in. And although it has been a while, I do have an account with Walgreens. I’m sure Joe just didn’t take the time to do the central search as it would’ve been too much work to click one extra button. Not only that, I work in a pharmacy. If a medication is called in for a new patient, you do the logical thing and create a new profile. You can update the insurance when the patient arrives. But nope. Joe said I was supposed to call ahead of time and he made no attempt to create a profile, even though he showed me he had all of my information written down accurately when I arrived. That’s definitely not a Walgreens policy since I’ve worked in a Walgreens pharmacy. That’s just Joe doing less than the bare minimum at his job. But he was so kind as to offer that I wait an additional 40 minutes to fill something that should’ve been done 24 hours ago. But I declined and remembered why I never fill my prescriptions at Walgreens.

Seifu XXV: Absolutely worst customer service. Carlos was rude from the moment I walked in the door. I don't normally post negatively but this was the one exception.

Bgt Yhn: Pharmacy staff is legitimately awesome. Best service of any retail pharmacy I’ve ever been to, they will really go out of their way to help you.

Shayna Deverman: Very clean, stocked store! Had everything I needed and more for staying at hotel across street. Cashier was very sweet. Great selection of travel products also!

Ling Chen: A big no no place. Their staff are both rude and incapable. They behaved rudely towards my family and child and yelled at a very cute three year old. They also did not know how to handle normal purchasing through credit cards. They also were not able to print out receipt because they did not know how to put that roll of paper in for printing. I have to say that the manager of this store location must be incapable, and this is the worst pharmacy I have been to in the past 20 years.

Top Riwin: Had my moderna vaccination shot here, the pharmacist (Teddy) was really helpful. He talked us through the process and gave us a vaccine shot 👍👍👍

Anna Allen: I go there occasionally, it’s good store. Good selection. Quick photo printing. However, this time I needed a picture for my European passport taken which is 1.37x1.77. They told me that they cant do it. Which is a false information. I went to another Walgreens in union station and they took it. Dear Walgreens on 22nd street: In your photo kiosk, it is set by default on US passport but if you click on it it gives you option of different dimension for different counties. You’re welcome.

The pharmacist on staff Saturday morning (Oct 26) was so helpful and he was very quickly able to fill my 3 orders for 2 days worth of meds to get me through the weekend. S.M. Barnes: This was my first time visiting this location (King St/Rt 7). I can say there was a wide array of balloon choices🎈and the prices 💰 are comparable to what I'm used to paying. When it came time to place my order, it was nothing short of disorganized chaos😳. There was no clear cut line, people just inserted themselves wherever🤬, thereby cutting in front of others who were patiently waiting⌚ their turn. Each of the sales associates looked to be around high school aged and every last one was wearing their mask 😷 improperly... mouth👄 covered but pulled below their noses👃. There was one cashier working and the line of customers wrapped around the store. There were a couple of associates ‍♀️ standing around and finally another cashier opened their register. By this time, I was just ready to pay for my order💲, grab my balloon and leave👋. Hopefully, I can find another store in the area and it be a bit more organized.

Eliza Jay: Yea, it’s a no for me and why does the store smell so bad. They don’t honor policy. Stop selling stale candy to customers. You sit around on your phones all day the LEAST you could do is making sure your stuff is up to date.

David McGowan: This place is so poorly organized with kids running the balloon shop. If you ever have the misery of having to deal with this place give yourself 5x whatever time you think you should be able to just get balloons. Expect to walk out defeated, questioning what you're doing with your life and miserable staff attitude for an added bonus. Management doesn't care bc people keep coming back, like ourselves, because of location and a cornering of the balloon market? Really miserable place to ever have to step foot in.

Debra Bou: I came here on a Friday afternoon and it was a very busy day for them. The girl assisting me was very patient with me. I came to pick up balloons for my friends sons birthday and tried making decisions on which balloons to get. Went back and forth to inflate or not and ended up inflating all of them. Walked out spending $78 on about 10-12 balloons and luckily fit in my truck! Lol. Before I drive off, I had to double check I got all the balloons I paid for and luckily I did because I forgot one! When I went back in, I brought the receipt with me just in case, and the line was so long down the aisle way... I had to sort of shout to the girl who was busy and told her She forgot to give me one of the balloons and she was very apologetic about it. When I got home, one of the foil balloons lost a lot of air and deflated, which I was upset about because it wasn’t cheap! Noor Ayoob: The location is really good customer service was on point employees asked us if we need any help . We got all our party stuff and more lol . If you want to buy anything to any party you will find it there .

Patrick Gregerson: This is my neighborhood Party City store. The most popular items in the store were the helium balloons. I was able to find the items I needed, but the selection was limited for adult birthdays. I was trying to find birthday items for a friend celebrating his 70th birthday, and could only see a handful of products worthwhile. If you’re celebrating a child’s birthday, you’re in luck, there’s a plethora of fun products to choose from.

Lauren F: I ordered something for same day in store pick up. Plus side it was ready in less than the estimated 2 hours. However when I arrived to pick up at the designated pick up area as directed in the email I received none of the employees acknowledged or helped me. I had been waiting over 10 minutes and about 3 employees has passed by me without saying anything. I understand coming back from a break or being busy but a simple "we'll be right with you" or "have you been helped?" would have been nice. I work in customer service so the service I received today by this store was frustrating. I know alot of places are short staffed or busier than usual but that doesn't mean good or even decent customer service should be thrown out the window. I ended up going through the aisle and purchasing another product similar to the product I ordered. I understand I could have done that to begin with but I wanted to try the in store pick up for the first time and to make sure I got my product.

Aimee Lagrave: I was looking for a few simple number balloons and they were easy to find. Unforchanatily the wait time was absurd. The line was not very long but it took an incredibly long time to get the balloons and then check out. It seems that they have the staffing and the opportunity assist customers. However of the five employees I had in my sightline only two, we're offering assistance in any capacity.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Just wanted to thank MIKE the MANAGER for his patience and kindness. I was traveling a long distance to see a niece who was admitted to the National Children's hospital in DC and I had driven over 19 hours and was awake over 26 hours... I thought I went to a Walgreens near children's hospital where I left my driver's license on the counter, well turns out I could not locate this mysterious Walgreens because it didn't exist...the Walgreens I went to was in my travels but in one of the states in my drive to Washington DC. So Mike the manager was trying his best to tell me there was no Walgreens to his knowledge "near" the hospital only a Walgreens IN the hospital. He even started to Google search for me and everything...all along it was NEVER his store at all... but he took the time to try and help me locate the Walgreens I thought I went to. I was clearly sleep deprived to not know I was in a completely different state...but Mike was completely patient, kind and helpful. I will continue to give Walgreens my business so long as they keep hiring people like Mike. I can only imagine how awesome he is in his own store with his customers and employees if I received this awesome level of service not having yet patronized his store. Mary Kate Pinto: They've lost my prescriptions more times than I can count, when I call the pharmacy I'm never on hold for LESS than 15 minutes, I have to walk the pharmacy workers through how to apply my manufacturer coupon for one of my prescriptions every single month, I could go on and on. They've taken so long to fill my prescriptions that I've gone weeks without my medication and gotten really sick because of it. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Every time I go in/call, it's somehow a worse experience than the last time.

Joy Day: The first time I waited on hold for 20 min. for pharmacist. I was then disconnected. I called back. No answer for 10 min and I was disconnected again. It was not the lunch hour. It was not before or after pharmacy hours. They are clearly just choosing not to answer the phone and then picking it up and hanging up. I was calling to try and get a prescription filled. Funny, I thought that was Walgreens core business. I am now sending my husband to the CVS nearby.

William Gant: Good location for Wallgreens in Chinatown especially if you work close by and you need a quick snack or soft drink or a quick pharmacy item instead of hitting the grocery store on your way home. It does get busy at times and you do sometimes run into some interesting characters (its next to one of the largest Metro Stations in DC). It's pretty large for a Wallgreens in downtown though.

Grace Vollmar: This pharmacy is impossible to deal with lol, go to ANY other pharmacy but this one. Multiple times I’ve gotten texts saying my prescription is ready, i go and wait in the long line that they always have, just to be told it’s not ready and then be told “it’ll be ready in like a day or two” when i ask. I’ve also had to call because I got a new prescription filled at another Walgreens that was closer because I needed it asap, that Walgreens staff was lovely, but they were out so they transferred me to this one and the woman on the phone immediately said “we don’t have that here” (it was a very common prescription) and HUNG UP ON ME. I guess that experience was lucky though because any other time I’ve had to call, I never even get through or get put on hold for so long that I just hang up. Seriously, go to ANY other pharmacy. I know you have to deal with a lot as a pharmacist but don’t take it out on people who are just trying to get answers and their medications lol.

Betty Chu: Update: I went in to pick up 2 items. It took 30 minutes bc they charged me twice via the app. He was yelling at me saying I was wrong — and refused to believe me even though I showed him the TWO RECEIPTS IN THE APP. This place is understaffed, so everyone behind registers is stressed and unhelpful. After 30 min, he finally returned both purchases and I left with nothing. —- I wish I could give ZERO stars. Again & again, this store & pharmacy is a mess. Every time I visit in-person or call, something goes wrong. Tonight, I was on hold waiting for someone to answer for 30+ minutes before closing at 6 - then at 5:57, the phone just hung up on me.

Ian Cahir: Scheduled a Covid booster shot for a Sunday, then arrived to find them closed. When I tried calling on Monday, no answer. When I arrived on Monday, they would not take me.

Jaymee McGraw: I know it’s a privilege but I’ve never been watched by a police officer while trying to find popcorn. I guess theft is a problem but don’t police in DC have something better to do than give me an anxiety attack in the snack aisle? I went in the store with my girlfriend and son to get snacks to take back to our hotel and the entire time cop man is staring me down. The cashiers were nice but they were beefing with a coworker who kept staying in the back room. I tried to break the tension by saying hello to the officer and he continued to stare me down in silence. It started to feel like the twilight zone.

Carly: Ordered photos from here and the website said my order would be ready by 10:25am. When I come in the morning they told me to come back after 3, and when I came back at 5pm they said it was still not ready and to come back the next day. Will never order photos at this location again.

Juan Solis: One very rude employee. The rest were nice and genuine. I asked her if I could throw away a drink in the garbage behind her since the one by the registers was full, and she said no in a rude tone. I then proceeded to tell her that the reason was because the trash was overfilled,m and she then replied “ I don’t care” she then call the next customer in line so she would not have to speak to me any more. Very unsatisfactory experience because of one employee with poor customer service.

Michelle Alcanter: I used their photo service and was very disappointed at the quality. Majority of the pictures were printed with a green/red/ yellow streaks on the pictures. Unfortunately I didn't discover this until I get home. For future, it will be nice if the staff printing the pictures can do some quality control before packing them up.

Kev- keepingitreal: Party City offers a wide verity of decorating party supplies for your special occasion/event to satisfy your party planning needs and you can get this all at an affordable prices. A staff member who was working the floors was very patient and helpful with assisting us with everything that we needed. Checking out with the cashier I appreciate the staff customer service, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful with our orders. This location was clean and offers plenty of parking spaces.

Asia Hardy: Bought a costume accessories pack and as soon as I opened the top part where the glasses were attached one of the lenses fell out. When I tried to return it because of the broken part, mind you the hat and necklace were still sealed due to a three part sealed package. Well the associate told me I could not get a refund because it was opened, yet I explained to him when I opened it the lens fell out and it was clear the rest of the package wasn't opened or the items used, however he still said I could not get a refund for a 17.99 item so they forced me to do store credit and YES I HAD THE RECEIPT. Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

Paige Raborn: Spread my ashes at this Anthro! (Only half joking.) Somehow an extremely well organized store despite its massive size, Georgetown Anthropologie has the best items and even better associates! The wonderful and hilarious Camila helped me make a few style decisions, and she is incredibly intuitive about personal taste and sizing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit DC.

Lion King: My all time favorite shopping place in the U. S.! Quiet and full of beautiful stuffs! D.C branch is one of the best one, the people work there are nice and beautiful, will help you find the things you want especially the one in the shoes area, we didn’t try shoes but she gave us some advices on coat!

Austin Graff: If you've been inside an Anthropologie before, this one is the same, but bigger. There are three floors to this one on M Street in D.C.'s Georgetown. Clothes and candles can be found on all three floors, but the home section is on the bottom floor with living rooms and dining rooms set up convincing you to buy a pillow. There's also a small kids section on the bottom floor too. One fun fact about Anthropologie is that the founders give a lot of their money away to causes like fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

This store is a waste of space. People there are useless.

They have color sections for particular events as well as year round Halloween costumes, though the selection is picked over. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a very large balloon selection as well.

NaT C.: Experience was terrible. I went her to pick up some Mother's day and birthday balloons for my best friend. I was making her a balloon bouquet. I was ignored by the ladies in the balloon section. They were more focused on blowing up Mother's day balloons for invisible customers than helping me. I asked a question so they were made aware of my standing there but they still neglected to provide any type of customer service to me. Once I finally got assistance, more than five of the balloons I picked out were out of stock. They neglected to update the balloons that they told me to make a selection from. As I make my way to the counter, I notice a smaller bouquet that can anchor down my bouquet. I get up front and the lady tells me it is marked wrong. She walks away and comes back, proceeding to rang up they item by keying in several different key codes. I asked her to stop and tell me the price first. She responds that is what I am trying to find out. At this point I ask for a manager, he comes up and I tell him all that has happened. He says sorry that happened and just looks at me and I look at him. Yes I wanted more than 3 words from the manager versus making it seem like it was okay to ignore customers and rang stuff up when you don't even know the price to know when to stop keying in codes. So at this point I said I am leaving my items and not getting anything. I went to another store, got my BFF lots of balloons, made her bouquet and left it at her door step. She loved the surprise so much and said it was her first. Glad it worked out no thanks to this Party City.

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

Should you get past them there is the thing on all fours along with a soulsucker out there. There are clowns with big toothy smiles in here too. Yes, The Spirit Of Halloween is back again. Thus time the store has taken up residence in the former Office Depot building. This store doesn't have enough product to fill out the whole store, but it doesn't need to. The staff members I saw seem to enjoy what they are doing and seem to keep out of sight, but they are watching out for shoplifters. I did end up buying a promotional wrist band in white and purple for the kids program. My wife ended up finding a throw pillow she liked as well. I don't know how much stuff actually gets sold here, but obviously enough product does walk out the store sold. I did not see to many costumes I liked, but the ones I did were Targeted for women or men with a good sense of humor. I have done such a thing and it was fun. Anyhow, The Spirit Of Halloween Stores don't last too after Halloween has ended, but they always seem to reappear in stores that have closed down. I am glad we got to experience this store in this location, because next year, the store might not be in this location. Great times for a Spirit Of Halloween.
