CVS: what do users think?

Kathleen Tedford: If you are sick and thinking to use the MinuteClinic - DO NOT DO IT! The medical assistant that works in that clinic is one of the most inappropriate unprofessional employees I have ever come into contact. I went in for a COVID treatment only to be lectured because I scheduled the wrong appointment. I apologized and requested a COVID test only to be given more attitude and lectured again. When I started coughing, this lady then was like "the nurse might not see you since you are coughing". Ultimately, she refused to test me and was very unprofessional. The nurse came out to apologize, but the damage was already done, I ended up leaving and went to an urgent care. DO BETTER CVS, read your reviews, this place gets few stars. Total rubbish - I have called corporate and hope they will listen.

Courtney Carroll: Worst pharmacy experience ever. Wasn’t helped for 10 mins but looked at multiple times. When asked if I needed help, I responded yes but they just ignored me again. Then when I was finally helped, she just told me it was out of stock. If that happens elsewhere, I am usually suggested another pharmacy or told they would order my prescription. Rudest people ever. Never going back to this location and wouldn’t recommend that anyone does.

Eddies: This CVS is very busy 24 hour store which functions as a drug store, mini food mart, and mini department store, since the neighborhood is seriously lacking all three. As such, the inventory is relatively decent. But unfortunately like most urban CVS stores the service here is ATROCIOUS. They never have enough cashiers on duty because they now divert people to "self checkout" and the cashiers they do have on duty are slow, lazy and rude. I avoid this place as much as possible.

Khoi Nguyen: 24 hour CVS. Staff here is really friendly. You get the occasional drunk folks stroll in throughout the evening and they do a great job at keeping the store clean

C C: Seriously rude staff member named Ali (not sure of the spelling). Was waiting with another shopper at some tables near the bathroom and he came and told us we were not allowed to wait there. Another staffer asked him why he was making us leave, and whether we should be allowed to wait, and use the restroom, he said no. Then he walked away. No explanation for denying us access and service. I completed my purchase and left the store. All the other staff members were polite and helpful.

CVS: what do users think?

T. Roberts: The employees forget they’re at work! Don’t go to this location if you want great or even good customer service. I walked in when they opened this morning (05/19/22) and they just looked at me as if I was lost. No one greeted me. I had to almost chase one of the employees down just to be helped and walked up to the counter to complete my transaction to find two having a full conversation and continued when they saw me walk up. I had to interject to get the one behind the counter to ring me up. Great location for convenience, horrible customer service.

F W: Joe, the manager of this particular pharmacy went out of his way to order my grandma’s much needed medication, which I went many different pharmacies to fill….. was initially given the run around, dismissive employees, or none NONE had the medicine in stock, in which they said would take over a WEEK to be delivered. Joe actually took the time to LISTEN to my plight and frustration, as I drive from over an hour away to help her pick up, as she is now slowing down so much she is basically bedridden Joe, had iit delivered and ready for her THE NEXT DAY. Thank you sir, your hard work does NOT go unnoticed. In the future i will always go directly to you, because you obviously care about your job, and your community. Love always

J Heather: Most reviews referenced horrible customer service— totally agree. You will get an attitude for simple things: I wanted a cash back and said I needed to use the automated machine (clearly it stated no cash back on the machine). Then, pointed at the atm (but the machine charges a fee). Then, showed the attitude when the staff was forced to ring me on the machine. I guess some people just don’t have customer service skills.

Olivia Panaski: I’ve always had a really good experience with CVS pharmacy but the pharmacist at this location was incredibly rude, unhelpful, and condescending. If you hate your job that much, maybe find a new one buddy.

Volodymyr Babich: Pharmacy used to be good. But it looks like Dustin is gone and the new pharmacist does not know how to run a store. I heard her berate/argue with a customer whether a prescription has been picked up. She was very rude. The line to pick up prescriptions was 7 customers long, but out of 4 people working in the pharmacy only one was actually serving customers. The staff did not seem comfortable operating the checkout. The pharmacist had her mask on her chin the entire time. Ironic because she was surrounded by posters showing how to wear a mask correctly. I will avoid this pharmacy in the future.

Vanessa J Panaligan: I am livid at their poor excuse for customer service. I had an appt for a flu shot tonight, but I was turned away because they ran out. I had scheduled this online and got confirmation and all but no notification that they had run out! They didn’t even apologize. I then checked with other CVS locations, and they said you have to have an appt. Well, geez! I had one, but I got dismissed! Thanks for wasting my time!

Darragh Joyce: Avoid it like the plague. Workers are so rude and unhelpful. One person made me wait for her to finish texting before ringing me up. Kind of funny now that I think about it, but also, i want to checkout and go home! This location has been rotting now for many years and it may take a quadruple bypass to save it.

Matt Magill: Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Hands down. Workers do not wear masks and they are extremely rude. Waited 30 minutes to get a flu shot that I made an appointment for. Pharmacist said I can wait another 30 minutes or leave. I left and will never return

Julian Hunt: What happened to the old staff? Looks like a corporate reshuffle to understaff and squeeze out more profit. The new staff is lazy, slow and inattentive. Big line just gave up as the attendant preferred stocking the shelves to serving pick-up customers. Is this a corporate strategy to downsize and force customers to unreliable “home delivery”?

CVS: what do users think?

Gabrielle Brown: My twin boys received their covid vaccine here today. The pharmacist was so polite and did his best to administer it in a gentle way. He had a good attitude even though he was the only one working the pharmacy.

ann jones: I went to this CVS at Thomas Circle this afternoon and it was appalling. It was very crowded, lines were going out the door and there were only two attendants at the registers for the entire store. I think there need to be a change in management as this is happening more often. I’m a long time customer of this particular store because I own a business close by and I’ve never seen such chaos as I’ve been seeing lately. Please clean house or I will take my business elsewhere. You are not the only CVS in the area. If I could have given you a zero star I would. Thank you.

Adam Moses: Pharmacy held my prescription until it expired without notifying me. They gave incorrect information on the refill date and I had to go back to my doctor to get a refill because of their incompetence. The pharmacy on 14th st. is a lot more reliable than this one.

Catharine: Much less than pleased with my vaccine experience at this CVS. Arrived on time for my appointment just to spend 10 minutes waiting for the pharmacist to find the vaccine cards (first red flag). Wasn’t asked for my ID or any sort of identifying information except my name which presumably the pharmacist got from the appointment record and found sufficient (second red flag). I was slightly put off but didn’t think too much of it, until I took a second look at my vaccine card today (since I need it for travel) and found that the pharmacist had forgotten to put the date of the vaccine on the card. Not sure what I’m supposed to do with a vaccine card that looks fake, and have gotten zero info from CVS about what I am supposed to do about a useless vaccine card... Haven’t gotten Covid so two stars for the J&J vaccine apparently working?

Arash S.: Today was the first and hopefully the last time in this pharmacy. One of the staff, supposedly the doctor, was trying to be helpful in describing different potential scenarios that had affected my very high copay. However, the cashier could not be more aggressive! I had a feeling that she had absolutely no idea about how to smile and talk to customers. I believe she really needs to be trained again (if she has not been) on how to deal with customers and be communicative.

CVS: what do users think?

Lorena Barito Rayran: I always come to this CVS because it’s the closer from home and each time I come to the counter for Drop off my medicine I always try to talk with a lady that is NO PATIENT! And I have to said: she’s NOT PATIENT with people who’s doesn’t speak good English…. English is not my first language (but I can communicate with others) reason why I always got all my information with me in order to be understanding easy… but she always is rude… It’s very disappointing have to talk with Someone who works with clients and doesn’t like to do! I hope find a better person next time…

Cassandra Bolt: I called and waiting for 30 minutes on hold for the pharmacist to answer after my wait and say “please hold.” I understand it can be busy, however, I called a second time and it was answered. The lady on the phone was unprofessional and gave me incorrect information about my prescription and insurance. She was not very nice either.

Karen prive: I came in for a walk-in appointment before they went on lunch at 2. The MT told me come back after lunch because if the appointments don’t show up after their grace period then they can see me. I come back at three on the dot and waited 30. By time 3:30pm no appointments showed up. So I ask the nurse practitioner can she take me since people are not showing up. She saying it’s unfair if they come and she is with me and the 3 people that didn’t show up that was scheduled before 3:30 didn’t show and she can’t do nothing about it. My point is, if people aren’t showing up for appointments and I am here why can’t I be seen. This is a minute clinic right? I needed a physical and they both said it will take too long. I said it’s two of them and she said they work together on patients together if they aren’t their for COVID stuff. I spoke to the Pharmacist for advice and he said yea they should take me but it’s up to them. The health field is failing and it’s no point for these suppose to be convenient clinics if they aren’t trying to work. They need to have a better system because this is people lives. I never thought I would have to go through this just to get a physical. I read reviews before I went expecting something different but I see what you guys are experiencing. It’s Sad, “nothing I can do” is not okay.

Jackie S: Website says 24 hours a day went at 3:27a.m. needing medicine and this CVS were closed.

Geoffrey Schuchardt: Absolutely awful. Kept on avoiding their job by telling people to go do drop off an manually say what they needed instead of going and finding the medicine that people already had gotten texts for as being available. I have no idea as to who is running the place at 7pm Thursday nights but they need to be fired.

Robert Mckernan: Chrisandra the manager was stellar. I had to get several COVID antigen rapid tests and she went out of her way and above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated so I could continue to operate my business in a safe and meaningful way. She was also able to direct me to the appropriate location to pick up my tests. My utmost respect and regards to this cvs location and management.

Stephanie Boroshok: The pharmacy is consistently slow and losing prescriptions. I usually have to have another CVS send a hard copy fax just for them to acknowledge that I need something filled. Then when they do fill it, the staff are rude and dismissive

Sasha Zaslavsky: Great customer service and selection of products! Reasonable wait times at the pharmacy and never had any issues with the prescriptions. The pharmacists and sales associates. Very convenient and helpful.

Tom Barbosa: be careful, woman at the cashier ..Forcing you to do carepass to get a discount ..

CVS: what do users think?

Ciara Regan: There was some mixup with the scheduling or the pharmacist was late — I never received a real answer. But the pharmacy says it opens at 9, and it’s 10 and nobody is here. Pharmacy work is too important to just have nobody behind the counter. And the pharmacy phone has been ringing off the hook since I got here.

Anastassiya Von Kort: Customer service was horrible. The guy behind the counter at the pharmacy was extremely rude when I came there very ill trying to find medication to relieve my symptoms. I was extremely disappointed. He expressed no desire to help me, and basically ended our conversation by just turning his back and walking away. Im not sure if I deserved such a treatment. I would have spoken to the manager if I wasn’t so ill. I will never go there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Much disappointed.

Hailey Messina: pharmacy not open on weekends (super inconvenient), once waited over an hour trying to get them to process a coupon i had. poor customer service, never have frozen food section full (no ice cream!) It’s awesome to have it close by and be open 24/7, but it could most definitely be better

Reyume Effa: Went in to get a money order and the big, slow looking guy tells me my passport isn’t a good enough And I need a state ID when I’ve used my passport there numerous times to get a money order. When I stated so he repeated his answer three times like he was talking to a child. Train your employees better

Dennis Bours: Electronic check out machines now only take cards. Call me old school, but I prefer to pay in cash for small amounts. The electronic machines here have recently been replaced for card only machines, and as hard as they try, the human check out is still slower. Go elsewhere if you want to pay in cash.
