BillyTheKid 695: By far one of the greatest companies I have ever worked for. I cannot express the amount of knowledge and skills they gave me. I feel horrible having to step away but I know in order to become a carpenter worthy of their work I was going to need to. If you're looking for an amazing build firm, I highly suggest them. They take care of their employees and subcontractors far beyond any other company I worked for. I know this sounds like a paid review but I can guarantee it isn't. Although 🤔 doesn't sound like a bad idea lol. Anyways, I'm honestly overly appreciative of everything they've done for me. The level of skill they have and the dedication to quality work was what I was looking for. Too many contractors out there only care about profits, they actually care about results. I'd also like to give a shout out to the project managers, we had ups and downs but in the end they were my teachers and like big brothers to me. So cheers mates 🍻 may we meet gain one day.
Alexandra Walker: We consulted with several design build firms in the fall of 2020 to build an outdoor living space for us. We chose Four Brothers based off of their reviews and portfolio; now that our project is complete, we are 100% confident that we made the right decision. From the moment our project began, we knew we were in the best of hands. We met with our architect (Kate) and designer (Nicole) several times to provide them with a sense of what we wanted. They instantly grasped our vision and were able to provide invaluable feedback and suggestions. Kate was insanely efficient at getting us through the oftentimes frustrating process of permits. She kept us in the loop and we truly felt we had an extraordinarily capable and professional advocate worrying about the big stuff so we did not have to. Once the project began, exactly when they said it would, our head site manager, Manny Lopez, took over and was a dream to work with. Manny kept us updated often, whether by text or weekly review/preview, with how things were going. I cannot underscore enough the level of professionalism that this company exudes on every level. Each subcontractor that came through did phenomenal work and when Manny himself did certain jobs, they were always completed skillfully and with the utmost care and detail. Like with any project, we did hit a few bumps, but they were always dealt with swiftly and professionally. The finished product quite literally turned out better than we imagined; we are beyond lucky to have found Four Brothers and would not consider ever using any one else. Mark Jackson: Four Brothers, LLC thoughtfully redesigned and skillfully performed a total renovation of our 1300 square foot condo in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of DC. And they did it while we were absent; living and working in Africa. We followed their lead as they represented us getting building permits from the DC government. As 4 Brothers developed floorplans we received clear drawings and options to choose from via Internet and worked with them to fine tune the plan. As it came time to select materials we had a few preferences that 4 Brothers acted upon and in other cases, 4 Brothers provided us good options from which to choose. Communications flowed extremely well between DC and Africa. Throughout the project we trusted their recommendations on layout, materials, changes, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, flooring and a significant soundproofing effort. We were thrilled with the results. With Alfred as lead on construction, Tamar overseeing details of interior finishes and Ben as our interface, 4 Brothers employees and teams of high quality sub-contractors worked with small spaces, difficult access, challenging aspects of the original building design, and even cranky neighbors, to ensure that our condo would be ready for occupancy when we returned from Africa. Each of the Four Brothers team members made us feel that our job was their most important. As we worked together by email and phone calls to make final decisions on infrastructure and finishing, and to accommodate our desire for some unique features such as an acacia wood bar that we shipped from Africa (a later challenge for Alfred and Phil to install). 4 Brothers excellent design and craftsmanship was accompanied by good documentation, honest assessments, and cost estimates that did not grow. And they were waiting for us the Saturday morning of our return to the United States to introduce us to our totally new home. We enthusiastically recommend 4 Brothers, LLC.
Dan Citrin: Four Brothers designed and undertook a major renovation of our home, which included kitchen replacement, master bathroom expansion, master closet installation, attic renovation to install full bath and guest suite, and install front portico. We are very pleased with the entire experience and outcome, starting with the architect Kate, the project supervisor Kent, and the site manager and chief carpenter/builder James. A great team to work with, highly professional, talented and responsive. As in any project of such a magnitude, unforeseen problems are unavoidable. When they did occur, they were handled responsively and professionally, with creative fixes and additional costs kept to a minimum. Our 100 year old house has been transformed. Anne Fiala: We worked with Four Brothers on two projects and are very happy with the results. We hired them to renovate the kitchen in our Capital Hill row house after seeing the work they did for a friend. From the first visit to get an estimate through the final walk-through, our experience with Four Brothers was wonderful. A few years later, we hired them again for a full basement renovation. The Four Brothers team helped us with all aspects of our jobs, including the design. They delivered a finished kitchen that was just what we wanted - a modern kitchen with a historic appeal. The basement was transformed from a dark, dank storage area into a spacious family room with lots of light. The quality of their work is top-notch and they were very responsive to any requests or concerns we had as the project progressed. Throughout the process, the whole team at Four Brothers was professional, courteous and very accessible. Their price might be a bit higher than other contractors but the level of service and quality is worth the cost. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
Ann Hammersmith: Four Brothers renovated my very small bathroom in a condo. They took it down to the studs, gutted it in one day and delivered the project on time with beautiful craftsmanship. They do great work, they're honest, and delightful to work with. They suggested a charming detail for what was going to be plain white subway tile and I love it. It makes me happy. Four Brothers is a high quality operation with tremendous integrity. You won't be disappointed if you work with them. I've recommended them to friends and neighbors and they have been delighted with them.
Charlotte LeGates: Four Brothers did an outstanding job on our kitchen and bath renovation. Our design consultant, Kristin, really listened to what we wanted, had great ideas that were consistent with the overall design of the house, and was responsive to our budget. Our construction supervisor, Mike, paid attention to every detail and kept the work flowing smoothly. The man who did the color-matching for the floor was really talented! Everyone was courteous, on time, and on schedule. Altogether, an excellent experience. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Michelle Wormmeester: We recently finished a kitchen renovation project with Four Brothers, and we absolutely love our new space. Our team was incredible from start to finish. The designer really was able to incorporate all the features we wanted into our small galley kitchen (and we asked for a lot!). And our project manager and carpenters were awesome, working with us through every little detail (with plenty of patience and accommodation!). The communication was great, too--someone always got back to us, and our team leader was easily accessible. We also took comfort in knowing that someone from the team (not just the company, but the team) was always on site, and we had access to updated calendars that kept us in the loop on progress as well as daily and weekly progress reports. It's been a couple of months since we've been living with our new kitchen, and everything has been perfect. We highly recommend Four Brothers; they will definitely be our top pick for any future project.
Lisa Rosselli: We used Four Brothers to do two major renovations to our home in Chevy Chase Md. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. The two jobs spanned a year and the entire Four Brothers team were courteous, efficient, communicative, and provided excellent craftsmanship and professionalism. They were on budget and on time. They were even really nice to our dog, Weezie! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Erin Murphy: I highly recommend this company. I did a full bathroom remodel- ripped out everything to the studs and put in all new everything. I love how it turned out and the team that did the work were on time, professional, and updated me on their progress regularly. Prices are comparable to others I spoke with; the difference was that Kitchen & Bath/Dupont Design Center procured all of the materials and stored them at their site. They would not start until everything was in which meant the project was done in 10 days. When/if I do my kitchen remodel, I would definitely use this company again. Service: Remodeling
Andrew Gatti: We worked with Josh, Azad, Ozzy, and the rest of the team to remodel our kitchen in an old row house. The work involved completely gutting our kitchen, removing on old exterior door, and installing a new window in its place. Brenda Kelly: UPDATE: July 2022 Kitchen and Bath (DuPont Design Center) just completed the renovation/remodel of my basement bathroom and floor, and once again, the work was outstanding!! Again, Ozzy was my point of contact/project manager who assisted with design and product selection. His team, Ali, Pedro and David, did a superb job. They were professional and thorough. I am thrilled with the finished product. I highly recommend this company for any home design/build/renovation project, large or small. January 2022 I used the services of Kitchen & Bath Shop to remodel my kitchen, and this company did an outstanding job. Ozzy was my first point of contact. He helped me with the vision for totally overhauling a small kitchen space, helping me with color schemes, product detail, and layout and turning my kitchen into not only a more functional space, but a much more upscale one. The project manager/day to day contractor was AZ. He was not only the person responsible for day to day supervision of the team, he was also available for help with architectural design along the way, offering solutions/revisions to original design concepts. In addition to the skill set and talent brought to the project, both Ozzy and AZ were great communicators. From beginning to end I was kept informed, always knowing what to expect and when to expect it. My project was completed within timeframe and within budget without any issues. Laura Spencer: My husband and I selected Kitchen & Bath Shop DC and remodeling to do a near complete overhaul of our kitchen and we are exceedingly happy about the work and time frame it was finished in! We started planning with Josh & he was able to walk us through a detailed process in picking out new countertops, floors and details into how we wanted the kitchen to look. He was able to work with us and ensure we didn't exceed our budget limit and there were no "surprise" costs that you usually hear about other workers. One of the best things about this company is they assume responsibility for all of the paper work with the co-op and management company and kept us in the loop. When the work got started they were able to knock down a wall to open up the kitchen, get most of the demo work done in under a couple of days. End to End most of the work was complete in a 3 week period which was outstanding to us! Ozzy- the project manager was awesome and explained everything in detail with us and gave us dates by which each could be done. Fantastic lead! They also were very attentive to the little details that we needed to have handled which was fantastic as we can be a stickler for the little things. We love the look of our kitchen now and will be using this company when we redo our bathrooms. Fantastic company that I highly recommend!

FG: Kitchen and Bath Shop did our kitchen remodel and they are fantastic! We took down a wall and did some major work. Craig is extremely professional and has an amazing eye. Something that was very important to me was responsiveness, and Craig was always available to talk through any questions I had. He was extremely patient and accommodating, and very kind. He did not feel like a contractor, but more like a consultant friend. He also has incredible taste. The suggestions he made for our kitchen remodel really took it to the next level. The work involved taking out walls, floors, custom kitchen, custom baths, and a whole host of changes throughout. I am attaching some before and after pictures to provide a sense of scope. This was done during the pandemic and in a high rise, making it a complicated project. Sarah Markenson-Bussel: The Zen team renovated a bathroom that had very old plumbing and a few hidden conditions (a rotted joist) that are common in older DC homes. The communication about design choices, project schedule and required change orders was clear and timely. I work from home and have a toddler so they kept the house very clean throughout demo and construction. Most importantly, the quality of work is impressive and it is evident that each team member takes pride in their work and enjoys what they do. As an example, we wanted to maintain the historical charm of the bathroom - so rather than swap out the old non-functional bathroom door for a new modern one they found the same style of door at a salvage shop and restored it with a fresh coat of paint and functional doorknob and lock. This was above and beyond my expectations. We already hired Zen again for our next project.

Andrew Moffitt: The Zen Renovations team did a full ground floor remodel of our house, which included expanding the kitchen to an open model concept and entirely replacing the existing cabinetry, appliances, and tile; replacing hardwood floors; replacing windows; replacing doors; and putting in new lighting. They worked with us throughout the design process, provided realistic inputs and talked us out of some limiting decisions. They built, and were forthright about, a timeline that accounted for significant supply chain issues beyond their control, and were communicative throughout the entire project. Their team, from project managers to craftsmen, were professional and attentive and met the standards they set for themselves from the start. Dana Rivera: I’m happy to give a glowing review about Zen Renovations. Our bathroom renovation was our first big home renovation project and everyone at Zen made it pleasant and seamless. We are completely in love with our bathroom. The big things that stood out for us were: 1) communication - they were always easy to get a hold of and they kept us informed every step of the way. 2) we felt very taken care of. Our toilet arrived from the supplier broken and they handled all the reordering and making sure everything got to our home in time and ready for each stage of the process. 3) the crew is so conscientious, friendly and talented. They made us feel at ease with having other people in our home and were even great with our dog. 4) any changes in plan that came up were thoroughly explained and they always had a solution that sometimes worked out even better than the original plan. It was tough with a small bathroom so the team had some great creative solutions. We knew we wanted a vintage-esque aesthetic but didn't know the specifics. We made a pinterest board of things we liked and shared that with them plus our overall themes. From the project manager to the tile rep, Zen really helped guide us and offer suggestions and once we picked out the big things like the vanity everything fell into place from there. They also put photos of everything into a nice pdf so we could see it all together and envision it. Overall I'd say they are open to however much or little guidance you'd like with design. Kirsten Baldacci: After an extensive search, we landed with GBC Kitchen & Bath to remodel our 1964 original kitchen. They worked with us to come up with the best design to use our space, and even let us get into the small details, including tile layout. It was all inclusive - meaning they did everything, demo, cabinets, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical. Everything was inhouse for GBC which saved us money. GBC started exactly on time, and actually finished earlier than our 4 week timeline. GBC was upfront, honest, and very responsive. James Drew: GBC Kitchen and Bath of Alexandria, Va. did a fantastic job renovating our kitchen. We found out about them through a leaflet in the mail. We’re glad we called them. GBC managed the project from concept to design, installation, and completion (if you're thinking about doing it yourself, I strongly recommend going with a professional for this type of project instead). The kitchen was designed by Emre Kuzudisli and the work was conducted under project manager Amoldo. All the workers at the site were professional, respectful and efficient. The kitchen was sealed off to prevent dust during renovation and the trash was removed each day. The work was completed much sooner than we had anticipated, meaning less disruption for us. Well done GBC! We highly recommend their services. Joseph K Hight: I had my kitchen remodeled by this company. ( cabinets, countertop, and flooring ). They installed a dedicated circuit for the microwave, and a waterline for the ice-maker. They painted the walls and ceiling, with 2 coats. The work was completed in 5 business days, which surprised me. I has 4 estimates from companies, and they were the best. I am very pleased with all the work I received, from the beginning to the end. I will have my bathrooms remodeled next year, and I will use them for that. Decided on GBC Kitchen and Bath. Renovation costs were more or less in the same price range but I thought GBC gave me the best value for my money. GBC made the whole process easy. Veronica H: I learned about GBC from a friend who raves about the company’s renovation of her kitchen a few years ago. After getting a few quotes for due diligence, I selected GBC for a full renovation of two bathrooms and my experience was exceptional! From design with Fabian to project oversight with Sujan/Ray and the fantastic crew that did the work, GBC exceeded my expectations. They were consummate professionals, communicative, incredibly responsive, and worked with me at every stage to ensure my vision became a reality. When we hit a few supply chain hiccups, they worked quickly to help resolve the issue. When I was indecisive on specific design elements, they patiently walked me through options to help me visualize the space. I made multiple visits to the showroom, and each time, they gave me the space I needed to look around and think through each piece. There was no pressure; they worked with me and at my pace. Fabian was beyond patient with my many questions. We started design in April and construction in July, with the project 95% complete on schedule and on budget by mid-August. Omar and his crew took great care to keep the work site clean, to keep me apprised daily of progress, and to alert me when they needed me to be onsite for real-time decisions so I could plan around my work schedule. I’ve never done a renovation before and when I first contemplated doing this, I expected it to be nerve racking and frustrating. Jill Lammert: The GBC team did a fantastic job with my kitchen reno that eventually turned into more like a whole house reno. I was so happy with their work I kept asking for more! And, despite the additions, they finished during the original timeframe they quoted me (8-10 weeks) — all during COVID! When we ran into supply issues we worked together to find alternate solutions and they were very responsive whenever issues arose as the work progressed. Their electrician and HVAC tech were fantastic. The GBC design team - Pedro, Luisa, and Liz - were delightful, had great ideas, and helped me to identify a look that would work for me while not overwhelming me with options. The construction team, led by PM Tony, were a pleasure to work with and always went the extra mile to get things right. They sent me pictures of the work almost daily since I wasn’t able to stay there for most of the work. It really helped me to feel involved and confident in the work. Jessica Parton: GBC was great to work with. We did a full kitchen remodel, removing 2 walls, combining the kitchen, dining room and hallway. Both walls were load bearing and after demo we were worried we would have to have another column in the kitchen but that was averted with an additional post on an existing column (Yay!).The designer was awesome (but no longer with them), Ray (project mngr) was responsive, but the real stars were Alex and Jacob! They did an amazing job, always on time and willing to answer any questions I had. They brought any issues to my attention right away and we talked through how to best fix them. The estimate was spot on and additional work was priced before ordering so there were no surprises. We really enjoyed working with GBC and would recommend them to any of our friends or family. The work was estimated for 6 weeks and they finished in 5! I cannot put into words how much I love my new kitchen!!! Gary Langbaum: Our kitchen designer was Sarah Turner and she was a pleasure to deal with and she did a fantastic job. She offered us a truly unique idea which made our kitchen larger than we believed possible and gave us much more storage space than expected. She suggested a waterfall table at the end of an island, which enables us to seat 3 for meals and extended the work area when necessary. In a different but complimentary stone, the island is a conversation piece. From the floor to ceiling, everything chosen was perfect. Her suggested general contractor was a pleasure to deal with and took care of everything. Despite timing issues working at a condo, he was able to have the job done on time and we moved in on the date we had projected. We would highly recommend Sarah for anyone wishing to have a non traditional approach to redesigning a kitchen.

Danzell Harrell: Very happy with my experience with MAK Remodeling! We found them to be reasonably priced in comparison to the 4 other quotes we received. We ultimately choose them because they were especially more professional. They showed up on time every morning and cleaned up every evening before they left. Hannah Holden: Like many other DC homeowners, we purchased our row home “as-is” in July of this year. We knew that we would need some work done to fix what we believed to be “minor” water damage issues. Well, long story short, it turns out the entire back of our house was falling apart from a combination of water and termite damage and we needed all new plumbing. Hammer has been a silver lining in this otherwise trying time. Greg has worked with us over the past 2+ months to stick as closely to our budget as possible even in the wake of new and expensive discoveries that have popped up during the remodel. Greg’s team is professional and respectful. They took our concerns seriously, including the one about keeping our two cats safe from the construction work. Although it is unfortunate that we needed the extent of work done that we did, we are very glad we chose Hammer to help us. Greg had to coordinate numerous different trades because of our extensive list of repairs, and we felt confident in both his ability to do so and the ability in the different contractors he worked with along the way. We look forward to working with Greg and Hammer in the future, hopefully on cosmetic rather than structural work!
Gregg Baron: We wanted to renovate our already finished basement to serve as a in-law suite. After meeting with several contractors, we went with Greg and Hammer Contractors and were extremely pleased with the results. Hammer Contractors installed a full kitchen with gas range/oven, sink, cabinetry, refrigerator hook-up, granite countertops and hardwood floors. An interior wall was also framed out to create a bedroom and the half bath was converted to a full bath by adding a shower enclosure. Throughout the entire process, the designer Andres, Greg and Jorge were a pleasure to work with. Initially, there were a couple back and forth meetings where the scope of work and materials were hashed out. Once agreed upon, the cost remained the same throughout the entire process with no hidden or discovered expenses. The timeline was followed nearly to a tee despite some challenges with the weather. At the time of the renovation, I had another contractor renovating my master bathroom. Comparing the two contractors were like night and day. Hammer's guys would show up first thing in the morning and work full days. They were always very polite and accommodating to my family as we were living through the renovation and constantly checking on the progress. Overall, the project finished on budget and on time and everyone associated with Hammer was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely work with Hammer again and have already recommended them to neighbors. From day one and throughout the entire process, I was very impressed with Hammer's professionalism and communication and am extremely pleased with the quality of the work.

Joshua Russell: We recently were looking to build an addition to our single family home to build an in-law suite. After multiple meetings, we decided on Hammer Contractors for this addition. Hammer Contractors were very professional and patient with our multiple questions and needs. Everyone we worked with were friendly, knowledgeable and an expert in the field. Geoff White: Hammer came well recommended to rebuild our large composite deck. Their early advice to replace the substructure was spot on. I did the demolition work and saw firsthand the need to start clean. They supported and added to our design ideas, and the finished product with hidden fasteners and smooth surfaces has a solid feel. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail came through in each step - not just the visible finish work. They went the extra mile for a structure that will last a VERY long time. Their work was clean and easily passed inspections. We love our new deck!

Megan Hammaker: Our small "water issue" job turned into a complete back of house two story renovation. Hammer did a fantastic job, and helped us get through the project as new homeowners who had no idea what we were getting in to. We had a lot of structural and framing issues hiding behind our 1911 home's walls. Between managing our plumbing updates around our existing ductwork, structural updates, complete exterior update, they kept us informed of all our options and provided ways so stay on budget. Greg was always there to answer any questions, no matter the time of day. We are very appreciative of him and his team. The team went above and beyond several times to make the final product a cohesive one (ie finishing the new floor path to match the old on their dime/time). Huge thank you to him and his team.

Vanessa Burton: We recently hired Hammer to renovate our kitchen. Although we originally intended to simply replace the cabinets and appliances, Andres presented us with several different possible designs, and we ended up changing the layout of the room. Greg walked us through the process and the various options, and we realized that we could change the design without too much of a change to our budget. Everyone from Hammer was very professional and responsive throughout the process. Andres was very helpful as we made decisions about things like countertops, backsplash, and paint. Jorge, Rafael, and the rest of the team made sure all the work was done on schedule and according to the design. Jill Burdick-Zupancic: We had a wonderful experience with Eric and the team at BPK. Eric reviewed pictures and measurements of our row home to see how we could make our kitchen space more functional while updating finishes. We quickly learned that we were limited with converting the space we had, but with Eric’s vision, we moved forward with moving the kitchen from a short wall to a long wall on the same floor, resulting in exactly what we wanted and a totally new look – open concept, large island, and functional cabinet space. Eric was patient and detail-oriented during the design process, making sure we went into demo knowing what to expect with the final result. Leading up to demo we decided to use BPK’s suggested construction crew; I’m so happy we did. Luis and his team were wonderful to work with. Everything was by the books (permits, no cutting corners, clear change orders) and while the project did last longer than planned, this was due to delays in appliances and materials and not due to an overfull construction schedule. David Cooper: If you are looking to get your kitchen remodeled, Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is the company to use! From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Jen Brewer: I recommend Bath + Kitchen without any reservation for any bathroom remodeling project. My detailed assessment: Quality: Their work quality is top-notch. The team did an extremely professional job, down to each detail; they recommended material that balanced high quality with the price points I wanted to stay within. The tile-work was especially well-done: I had ordered hand-made tiles that were naturally a bit uneven and thus more difficult to place. Yet they did a fabulous job- it simply looks great. Timeliness: Their timeliness was impressive. While they had to start a week later than originally planned, that was only because one of the fixtures had not yet arrived, and it did not make sense to tear up my old bathroom on the original date planned, then have to wait another week for the part to arrive. I thought that was a considerate and smart decision, and it wasn't their fault that shipping was delayed. Once they got started, they finished ahead of schedule, even coming in some Saturdays to work the project. And they showed up exactly on time every single day-- arriving at exactly 9 am and departing at 6 pm. Very predictable and professional Guidance through Product Choice: This is where Eric Shipe, the design consultant, was particularly helpful! I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Eric helped me visualize a few minor adjustments that made my vision even better, all while honoring and keeping to what I wanted to achieve (for me, opening the space up as much as possible and creating a "modern coastal" look). Value for the Money Spent: Worth every dollar. They are experts and you get what you pay for. Also, there are no hidden or additional costs; they are completely transparent in conversation and in the contract. Overall assessment: Bath + Kitchen was VERY easy to work with from start to finish. Don Parkins: I selected KRB Kitchen & Bath to renovate three bathrooms in my townhouse. Two bathrooms (including the Master Bath) were completely gutted, and the third bathroom was a 3/4 renovation. The designer Burak was excellent with helping me decide how each bathroom would be remodeled. I met with him in KBR's Fairfax showroom and we walked through the design and picked all the finishes and other materials. I had a pretty clear sense of what I wanted and Burak easily guided me in making the right decisions. The job was set to begin right when Virginia was facing closures and restrictions due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The KBR crew worked throughout this period ensuring that appropriate safety measures were taken. The project was lead by Omer, who kept me up to date on the status of the project as I had moved out of the house while the work was being done. Omer did a great job of managing all aspects of the project. I was able to move back into the house in three weeks and the project was completely finished after four weeks. This was several weeks ahead of the original contract plan. I highly recommend KBR.

Serena Viswanathan: Happy with KBR’s remodel of my condo kitchen. Designer Fatih suggested nice materials within the budget. The work was substantially completed right on time in 3 weeks. Technicians Luis and Alberto worked hard every day and quickly fixed small things that arose during the project (eg, leaky disposal, reversing a door, and replacing damaged cabinets). My neighbors said that they were considerate and left the common areas very clean. I have stacked laundry in the kitchen, and KBR didn't install it properly, BUT they reimbursed the cost of re-installation by the appliance company. KBR takes customer satisfaction seriously.

Catherine Francoeur: First, let me start by saying that we are extremely pleased with the end result of the kitchen renovation. My designer, Catherine, created a great space to my specifications which was not easy as we were more aware of what we did not like versus what we liked. The project manager, Adem, was professional and kept to the time table. Luis, the head contractor was also very good and his crews were excellent. We were particularly impressed on how tidy they left the work space every day and the quality of their work. Our one small complaint is the lack of communication we experienced. Catherine often promised getting back to us within a day and we did not hear from her for weeks. The progress of the work could have been explained more clearly to us (this was our first renovation ever so did not know what to expect at all): a weekly email would alleviate a lot of the questions we asked. The renovation of a kitchen is no easy project as it is so disruptive to the day-to-day running of a home but we feel that KBR Kitchen accomplished the renovation in a timely manner and we just love how it looks. We highly recommend them.
Stuart Hoyt: We just finished remodeling our two master baths. One was a complete remodel down to the studs, reconfiguring, and rebuilding. The other was more modest where the original footprint remained intact. We were not sure exactly what we wanted, and we worked with KBR Designer Silviya to design a bathroom that we now love. She was more than patient as she guided us through the seemingly endless options including basic design and selection of materials. She was extremely knowledgeable and had great ideas that we incorporated into our projects. Once we settled on what wanted, Project Manager Huseyin and his crew took over the construction. Like Silviya, the crew was exceptionally talented and completed the project with a minimum of disturbance. Everyone at KBR was very professional, easy to work with, and flexible. Remodeling can be extraordinarily stressful and disruptive, but KBR easily overcame the obstacles and produced wonderful results. We would highly recommend them.

Sarah Pelkey: After reading reviews online, we decided to go with KBR to help remodel our guest bathroom. We were in a bit of a time crunch as we have a baby coming in February, so the work had to be taken care of promptly, efficiently and correctly. We also didn't have a whole lot of time to devote to overseeing the project. KBR ended up being just what we were looking for. We reached out to KBR through their website and Cemil (the designer) called us within ten minutes. I figured we were off to a good start! Two days after our phone call Cemil came over for a free estimate. Shortly after that we were in the showroom picking out finishes. We had, of course, given Cemil some direction in terms on what we liked stylistically, and he did a great job narrowing down finishes he thought we'd like. The work started shortly after our showroom visit. Albi, the lead designer, was the individual who completed the majority of the work. I cannot say enough good things about Albi! He was timely, competent, knowledgeable, and respectful. He completed the project on time while paying close attention to detail. On an unrelated note, he was also good with our dog who can be a little skeptical of visitors... Adam was the project manager who oversaw everything from start to finish. If ever I had a question I knew I could e-mail him and he'd get back to me promptly. In fact, a few days after the project was completed, there was an unfortunate incident (our fault, not KBRs) in which a large/heavy candle was dropped in the brand new sink, creating a crack. I reached out to Adam to see what could be done about it, and he was out at our house right away to assess the damage. He was able to schedule one of the technicians right away to come out and fix the problem. If you're looking for a company that will take care of all aspects of a remodel correctly and in a timely manner, we cannot recommend KBR enough.

Stephanie Singer: The project went very smoothly, Adam Sanliturk was a great project manager, and the designer, Gokhan Sim, walked us through everything. The crew showed up consistently and worked quickly and efficiently. The only hiccups in scheduling seemed to be with the island, which I believe was constructed by another company. But everything turned out very well, we're very happy with the result. With the exception of finishing the island, the entire project lasted less than 2 weeks, with minimal inconvenience. Great job!

The job took about 4 days longer than expected, but we received full communication about that and were not surprised. Tracy Dendy: Case Design performed a "pull and replace" bathroom and kitchen remodel. Eight months included: initial measurements, design discussions, formal design, product decisions, purchases, and construction. I'm happy with the results and the workmanship is excellent; however, there were coordination issues throughout, which created undue stress. I recommend developing a relationship with your designer and project manager. They are your advocates and are crucial in explaining to you what is happening and provide the best translation of your final design with craftsmen. My place looks so much better than it did before and I'm grateful for their efforts.

Usually, it is hard to communicate with a contractor, but whether it was email, text or phone, we were always able to reach them. John Weiss: We spent a few years thinking about renovating two full baths and a powder room in our 100-year old house but did nothing until we finally decided that Case Design was the company we wanted to work with and initiated the project in early 2019. Two things became apparent as we progressed through the detailed design stage and then on to construction. One was the professionalism and competence of the Case people involved and the other was the pleasantness of working with them in their offices and in our home. Mike O’Hearn and Melissa Binderman, the Project Developer and Designer, were knowledgeable and experienced in presenting ideas, reacting to our desires, and executing a final plan. Their patience as we sometimes changed our minds about decisions that had been previously made was appreciated, as was their willingness to keep modifying what we wanted based on seeing results in our house rather than in a showroom. Loren Sanders, the Project Manager has been attentive and thorough in keeping us posted on the construction process and schedule. The star of the show, however, is Bill Shaw, who has done most of the construction work. Not only is what he does of the highest professional quality, he has been in our house steadily for two months and instead of an imposition, it has been a pleasurable experience. He explains everything he is doing and gives us the opportunity to customize items like where towel racks go and what height the shower should be. One of the prime benefits for us of this project turned out to be not the new, modern appliances updating our old baths, but the underneath replacement of floors, ceilings, walls, water pipes, insulation, and electric wiring. We’ve essentially rebuilt a major portion of our house. In doing major construction alteration, Case took great care in eliminating dust using suction machines and in protecting the parts of the house outside the renovation area. We bought a room air scrubber for our bedroom as a precaution. It indicates when the air is bad, and it has almost never found anything other than clean air. We highly recommend Case for home renovation projects.

Sean was great in helping us pick out our materials and flexible in designing our bathroom to better fit our vision. Wilson was the true rockstar of the project and we couldn’t have asked for a better team. Matt was also wonderful about keeping us updated and answering our questions. Amanda Smith: I would NOT recommend this company. We were looking at remodeling our kitchen and finally saved up enough money for the quote we were given by this company. It was less than a year later we went back to start picking out specific materials (countertop, cabinets, etc.). When we were heading to the store the designer (kevin) didn't tell us that the estimate had increased but we were anticipating a $3,000 increase since it had been a few months. When we showed up, they advised that the quote was now going to be $10,000 higher than we originally discussed. I was extremely disappointed that no one called us with this information before we traveled out to the store. We found a better company who was within our original quote and they have done AMAZING work.

Edy Jackson: Mega completed two separate jobs for me at my home. The first was a complete remodel of the first level of my home where everything was completely redone including hardwood floors, cabinets and countertops and knocking down walls to reconfigure my kitchen. I was extremely satisfied with the job they did. They were able to do everything I asked them to do including custom shelving inside my lower cabinets so I could use 100% of the under countertop space. They even custom designed that area to include a wine chiller. The second project was a complete remodel of my bathroom on the upper level. Mega worked with the vision I had for redesigning my master bath and facilitated my ordering of unique fixtures that they didn’t have in their inventory. My master bath is one of a kind and truly is a European Spa! The transformation was amazing! They were even able to convert my traditional entry door to the bathroom to a pocket door, modeled after one I had seen at a vacation suite. Kat the designer was fabulous; she in no way pushed any particular brands or items, but guided us in making smart choices, using her knowledge and expertise to steer us away from choices we may later regret. Tylia D mystic: We worked with Boss Design for our back sunroom addition, and we were pleased with the process as well as the result. We talked with a couple of different contractors as well as design-built firms prior to our decision but they all gave us generic design ideas, Boss Design came up with some unique ideas that were a perfect fit for our house as well as it was addressing almost everything we were hoping for! The architectural design process was fun, and renderings were extremely helpful for us since we are no good at imaging things. Construction was straightforward, and we loved their team. They were careful with our garden and other belongings around the work zone. Initial pricing was higher than other contractors, but we quickly realized that the products they offer were completely different than builder grades we are happy with the finished products, and they look special! Especially the wood veneer they had done in the ceiling looks amazing and we are glad that we just didn’t go with a basic drywall install! We highly recommend Boss Design for your renovation need!

Albert Sam: We couldn't be happier working with Boss Design. We hired them for a fairly large project for our Bethesda house. Our house is built in the 1940s and it hasn't been updated for a long time, but the location of the house is nice, so we wanted to do an extensive renovation throughout the house. The renovation included kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, stairs, a lot of wall removal, and exterior transformation. The house almost looks brand new built now! Talha was our Architectural designer and he was amazing to work with! He just did not focus on the large items like cabinets etc, but he worked around the architecture of the house, circulation of the spaces as well as lighting. The new floor plan he came up with was too good to be true, and they were confident enough to build this project! And they did it! They built the plan exactly how it was in the rendering. There had been some delays due to product availability etc but we are extremely happy with the new layout as well as the quality of the products. We were initially so nervous since this was our first large-scale project but after we met with the workers and project manager we quickly realized that we were in good hands! We highly recommend Talha and his team!

Julie Ables Chapin: DK&B did a complete renovation on my 1951 original bathroom and it came out absolutely beautiful! I had a picture to show them of what I wanted; and they worked closely with me over the project to get everything just right. In an old house, you never know what you will find when you tear out the walls and their team went to work cleaning up and rerouting a complicated mess of plumbing under the floor. There were many unexpected twists and turns and throughout they were top professionals both in their work and demeanor. Always good natured and helpful and wanting to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction as well as done correctly. Jason Richards: We worked with Dulles Kitchen and Bath on two separate projects on our 1970s townhome, a major remodel of the master bathroom and later for the powder room. Johan and Matt were the initial consultants for the two projects, and Matt was the project manager on both. They, as well as the two teams doing the day-to-day work, were great from consultation to completion of the project. My experience with most contractors in this area have ranged between bad and worse, between lack of timeliness, shoddy workmanship, low quality materials, and taking advantage on pricing by nickel-and-diming on every miniscule thing they find. I can safely say that working with Dulles Kitchen and Bath was the exact opposite of all those experiences. While no project is perfect, they worked with us to quickly resolve the inevitable issues that come up. They have a great selection of materials and customization for remodeling, Matt was on-site every day to make sure everything was going smoothly, the pricing is fair, and they are willing to work cooperatively with you from beginning to end to make sure you are happy with the final product. The bottom line is: we were so happy with the work they did on the first project that we hired them again, and obviously would highly recommend for anyone else looking to remodel their home. Sharon Scott: My small bathroom was completely remodeled starting with removing everything down to the studs. The project was completed efficiently in 6 work days. The work was spectacular! Workers were very careful of surrounding area and cleaned up totally daily. The project manager, Matt, stopped by daily to check on the work. Ed S.: We redid a full bath and it's falling apart just a year later. The tiles on the floor and wall were all installed crooked. The grout is coming off half the tiles and they used a yellow caulk in the corners and ceiling. They did an AWFUL job. I don't know how people are still using them. The overall experience has been terrible. Johan, the owner, actually yelled at me on the phone! I am only sharing me experience to save others from the same situation. I don't wish this on anybody. Dewayne T: Remodeled our small 10x7 guest bathroom. Provided my own fixtures and tile and for $15,800 in just labor and construction materials alone and it took four weeks to complete. Think for the amount we paid, it was a really sloppy job. Asked for the whole room to be waterproofed because we wanted a wet room and they only did the walls by the tub. Floor drain should have been flush with the wall for proper drainage and it isnt and the tile isnt sloped right so water doesnt go to the drain but pools at the grout line. I would hire someone else to do tile work.

Kristin Gansheimer: We were lucky enough to connect with Johan from Dulles Kitchen and Bath and we hit the jackpot. He's the perfect mix of guiding you and respecting your style. He listened to what we wanted and incorporated it into our design. This sounds trivial but his customer service skills are extraordinary. He was responsive, empathetic and a problem solver. He certainly made the process much easier for us and when we hit bumps, he always handled them well. Issues always come up, it's how people handle them that really show you who they are. We would highly recommend Johan to everyone and everyone. We also live in a townhouse and he worked with us without a ton of upselling realizing that we love our home but it's not our forever home. If you've met someone that says "no problem" by default but never follows through? This is NOT Johan. If he says "no problem" it happens. Second part of the review... Jose. I have never in my life met someone with such attention to detail. Jose is clearly super experienced and will also tell you when he doesn't agree with what you are doing, which is a trait I respect. Using no sparingly, means it's worth listening when someone says it. Both Johan and Jose handled issues SO well it really was as painless as a remodel can be.

After having had bad experiences with “cheaper” home improvement companies, we wanted to work a company that would more actively manage the whole process. Nicole helped us with several design choices and suggested ideas that we loved but wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. When the project started, Mayflower did a great job in keeping us updated throughout the project and in explaining what they were doing. Two weeks before our kitchen project started, we realized we had a leak in our master bathroom. Mayflower was able to add it to our kitchen project and gave us a great price. Elena Zrajevsky: We hired Mayflower Construction Group in the summer for a kitchen remodel. When we approached Mayflower, we didn’t have a design in mind and didn’t know where to begin with our project. However, when we began collaborating with them, the design team guided us through the process and offered us a design that we immediately agreed on - it catered to our lifestyle and taste perfectly. When the construction process began, my family moved out for 5 weeks and it was crucial for the project to be completed within this timeframe because my children needed to return to school in September. During that time, we were a little worried about how the project would work out without us being home to monitor the progress. But to our delight, Mayflower updated us consistently on our kitchen's progress. They were always in touch with us and were diligent in solving any issues that arose. By the time we arrived home, major phases of the renovation were completed, with a few finishing touches still needed; which didn’t prevent us from using the kitchen. It is worth mentioning the craftsmanship the construction crew put into the project. Leaving no stone unturned in the sense of their attention to detail. They made sure everything was perfect from the alignment of the cabinetry, to the placement of the tiling, to the mounting of the fixtures and kitchen hardware's. Mayflower completely transformed our kitchen and made it the centerpiece of the house. We couldn’t be more satisfied with the result. Zaimah Khan: Mayflower construction completed a master bath renovation for us and it turned out fantastic. First the company is really easy to work with. We opted to go through the design process because we were making a big change by removing the tub and needed some help in figuring out how to relocate shower etc. They took our ideas and created a great design- offering valuable suggestions all along. Material selection at their showroom was super easy. As for the work itself, they do a great job. The crew is very courteous and takes great care in cleaning up and keeping things secure along the pathway to the project. They are respectful and pleasant which is important since they’re in the house all day. Mayflower Construction has a keen attention to detail which is reflected in their work. Tom Robertson: Nicole and Alex from Mayflower gained our trust from the beginning as we contemplated the changes we wanted to make with our kitchen. Nicole has a flair for design; Alex knows how to get the job done. Their knowledge of the Rotonda and its structure meant they knew what could work and what couldn’t, and they saved us the headaches of getting permits and approvals from the Rotonda front office. They understood our budget was limited. They advised us where we could save money by using a flooring contractor to put in oakwood floors and made clear as we thought over changes what the costs for each would be. Covid complicated our decisions. Alex and Nicole alerted us to possible delays that we might face due to supply backlogs. Their implementation team was excellent, polite and helpful throughout, working with us to find solutions to small problems as they came up. Despite some Covid delays, the work was completed in a reasonable 5-6 weeks, and they took care of all minor fixes shortly thereafter. All in all, an amazingly pleasant experience!

Jade Rubino: Great communication and incredible results. We hired Mayflower to complete a kitchen and living room renovation. Beginning with the design process and throughout construction, we appreciated that there was constant communication, and they were up front about scheduling and pricing. There were no surprises throughout the entire project. If we had a concern, they would let us know and resolve it before we even had the chance to be worried about it. They managed to squeeze us into a tight window just before Christmas and despite supply delays outside of their control, they finished the project on time. Their employees were professional and respectful of our space as we were living in the house during renovations. Throughout the project, the project manager was on site to go over the progress. Margie Hamberlin: We had a great experience with Mayflower Construction Group. Our old master bathroom had one vanity, an overly-large and outdated tub, and a mold-magnet of a shower. In short, it needed to be totally renovated. I researched several remodeling companies and chose Mayflower based on their willingness to work with our budget as well as the designer's ability to help me find a vision for the bathroom. There were four areas in which I think the group excelled: 1. Designing a bathroom with features that were in our price range and that fit with our preferences. Nicole helped me choose fixtures and materials that really suited both my taste and budget. She didn't push me toward the more expensive options (unless I had wanted that, but she identified different ranges to better plan the design). She was attentive, listened well, and with the project manager, Alex, came up with a practical, stylish design using the existing footprint of our bathroom. This leads to my next point 2. We were able to save some money on the project by mostly using the original bath footprint. Alex also consulted us when we needed to replace something or could use the old one if still in good condition (for example, our main bathroom door was just painted rather than replacing it with a new one). With Alex and Nicole's input, we decided where we wanted to spend more money or saving it based on our choices and preferences. I felt they were honest and trustworthy during the whole renovation process. 3. The renovation crew worked diligently each day and did a high-quality job. They covered stairs/flooring and any furniture/belongings (with temporary plastic walls) so as not spread dust or dirt during the demo. Each day they cleaned up the work area and vacuumed before they left. Some days they stayed late until they finished their tasks and also came some Saturdays if they were meeting a deadline. They were respectful and kind, and the end result was fantastic. 4. Our project manager, Alex, was available during the entire renovation so if we had any questions or concerns, he was on call for support. He kept us updated and aware of the schedule so we knew what to expect and handled a few minor hiccups with reassurance and calm. The whole team followed through on their parts. For all these reasons, we would highly recommend Mayflower Construction Group to anyone considering a renovation.

Glenn Sewell: When my wife and I moved into our home in early 2014, we knew that the first major renovation project we’d need to tackle was a complete overhaul of the kitchen. As is typical of 1960s Del Ray duplex homes, the original galley kitchen was tiny with very little cabinet storage and counter space. While we didn’t take care of the problem immediately, over the years as our family grew, the kitchen became a great source of stress as we were bursting at the seams with food and various small appliances littered everywhere because we’d run out of storage space to hide them. It was time for a change. Enter Mayflower Construction. We chose Mayflower over a few other local companies because of the immediate comfort and care we felt after meeting Nicole, our design consultant, for the very first time. My wife and I do not have a designer’s eye nor any sort of “DIY” sensibilities when it comes to house projects, so we knew we’d need a company that took care of pretty much every step from design to final construction. Nicole listened intently to everything we hoped to accomplish with the new kitchen, presented us with a perfect design, and expertly guided us through every decision we needed to make throughout the process. Not once did we feel pressured to choose any specific brand name product or belittled due to our lack of experience with big projects. Our wishes were always at the forefront and everything was handled with care, precision, and punctuality, all while coming in under our original budget. The construction team was equally impressive. We decided to leave our house for a month and stay with relatives so that the project could be completed quickly. Even from 500 miles away, we never once worried about any aspect of the renovation because our project manager, Ryan, updated us often with photos and explanations and was always prompt with answers to our questions. It was a stress-free experience. We came home to the kitchen of our dreams with double the amount of storage and counter space plus all sorts of modern luxuries that make the room an oasis now rather than a burden. It is a joy to spend time in there. We have future projects in mind and Mayflower will certainly be our first call when the time comes. •Marc •Williams: I will start my review of my experience with Mayflower Construction Group with the bottom line up front: Hire this team! I repeat, hire this team. I choice Mayflower to do a complete renovation (included partially taking down a wall and relocating the sink) after speaking with several companies. After meeting with Nicole and Alex at their showroom, I knew they would be the one. This was even before I received their quote. I just had a good feeling about them. Most of the companies you will be considering could probably get the 90% of a job correct. What you are hoping to find is the company that takes pride in overachieving that last 10%. That is where Mayflower excels in my opinion. Here just a few examples: at no extra charge, they painted the celling in the adjacent rooms because the freshly painted kitchen ceiling would not blend. As I mentioned, we had a wall partially taken down and obviously, the movement of electrical and such would require some touch up painting. This was something I was planning to do, but Mayflower asked us what color we were planning to use, and painted not only the walls near the kitchen, but the entire hallway. There were also pleasant surprises like the lights Mayflower put under the cabinets. Additionally, dressing up the sides of the cabinets so they would not look plain. During the design phase, Nicole suggested a great sink that we love. Alex suggestion for the window was spot on. I love how that turned out. These are just a few examples of how Mayflower goes the extra mile. They were in my home for about a month. Their team took great care to ensure the daily work was contained to the work area while the rest of the house saw no impact. We have a 15-month child and the Mayflower team ensured the kiddie gate was always closed. At the end of each day, the area was left cleaned and no dangerous tools or other items were left around. Again, with the small child in the house, that was important to us. The result exceeded our expectations. Mayflower turned our vision into reality. I joked to Alex that my new kitchen does not belong in this house. It is way too beautiful! Mayflower can do the same for you.

Tammy Hare: KBR has remodeled a full bath and a half bath in my home. Everything went very smooth from start to finish. Marve, the designer, was very accommodating, communicative and friendly. Mustafa the, project manager, made sure to stay in touch with me throughout the process. It was really great to get a text message at the end of the day when the installers left with information about the work they had completed and what I could expect the following day. They followed up with a walk-through and even gave me some parting gifts! The project started on time and was finished sooner than anticipated. Everything looks great! Adam Felton: We had a full Master Bath remodel, down to the studs… we decided on KBR after having three contractors out to bid on the project. KBR was not the cheapest by far but they were very dedicated to providing quality service and making sure they incorporated all our concerns and most of our ideas into their design while staying within our budget. Once we decided on KBR, we were delight to find that we had both a Project Manager (David) and a Forman onsite. This was a huge bonus for us as we had previously had a kitchen renovation with a different company and had neither. That’s another story… back to KBR, great job, kept us in the loop on everything in terms of the schedule and progress. David, our PM was fantastic and on point, always addressed our questions and concerns quickly, even when we would text on the weekend with a question. The bottom line is that KBR and David, our PM did a fantastic job, finished our master bath and my wife and are very pleased; in fact we wish they had done our kitchen… Oh, our designer, Sylvia, also super talented..... Joy Rivera: It was our first time to have something remodeled in our 29 yr old house. We started with the Hall and Masterbath renovations. We shopped around and chose KBR. Our designer Memo was friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my vision. He tried to incorporate as much as he can from my wish list within my budget. I will work with Memo again in future renovations, probably kitchen. Project started 3 months after we signed the contract because of supply chain and delivery issues as we were doing Reno during pandemic and while I am still working from home. Our assigned project manager Jason was very attentive throughout the construction process and the crew were excellent. Kevin Retherford: KBR recently renovated our master bathroom. They were fantastic from start to finish. They were very responsive from the beginning, scheduling site and design visits in very reasonable timeframes. The design phase went smoothly, the work started on time, and the work was completed way ahead of schedule. The project management team was always available and responded to all our needs, and the construction crew was polite, professional, and very skilled in their craft. The finished product looks amazing and we are very pleased with the results. I do want to mention that there was a leak issue once the bathroom was cleared for use, the day after the final walkthrough. While these types of issues can be stressful after a large renovation project, it is worth noting that KBR came back immediately, identified the issue, fixed the problem, and even patched the ceiling where the leak had caused water damage. The entire issue started around 8:00PM and was completely resolved by around 10:00 the next morning. I only mention it to highlight the fact that, even when things don’t go according to plan, KBR took full responsibility for the issue and fixed the problem in as timely a manner as any reasonable person can expect. I will be reaching out to KBR for any future kitchen and bath needs, and I highly recommend them to others for the same. Service: Remodeling
Elle Elston: My bathroom remodel turned out beautifully and only $100.00 over budget. I must compliment the technicians and all the staff at KBR in Fairfax. For my 1st major remodel the process was surprisingly easy without any major issues. So, if I was grading out of 10 stars I would give 9 ½, as there was a slight communication probably in the middle of the remodel. Over all everyone was friendly, experienced, and the designer walked me through choosing the fixtures, tiles, and products for the bathroom. The finished product was absolutely beautiful, and I would choose and recommend KBR 100% for future projects. Silviya, Huseyin, Irving, and their crew, from start to finish, were careful, efficient, competent, timely, clean, and demonstrated a genuine concern that their work be of top quality. I love the cabinets, countertop, floor tile, backsplash, and faucet. The color combination turned out to be beautiful. The crew consistently left the place tidy after each day's work and were regular in removing the trash. I must say that given the timeliness in which the job was completed, the quality of the work, and the final result, the price charged by KBR was very reasonable and fair. Pappi _: Worked with KBR Kitchen Bath and Remodeling (Fairfax) to explore options to remodel old kitchen and dining room. Existing kitchen was small with limited storage space and light. Belle Yucel (KBR Designer) used on site visit and discussions with us to come up with a beautiful solution. Materials were ordered and work crew showed up every day as expected and completed the remodel job in minimum time. The crew cleaned up the work site every day. Unforeseen issues were discussed and addressed via change orders. We are totally happy with KBR and would choose them again for future work. If you are looking for a high quality job by a local small business - choose KBR! The designer and crew were really artisans! Description of work: Complete kitchen and dining room design, demo and remodel. Installed new lighting, cabinets, countertops, porcelain tile floor and SS appliances (Owner purchased). Electric service upgraded to meet code. Removed non-load bearing wall to open up space. Moved stove and installed exhaust vent to outside. New design allowed for larger refrigerator and pennisula island with counter seats.
