USA Cabinet Store Fairfax: what do users think?

jeehan ghaffar: We remodeled our kitchen and bathroom and were looking for quality , beautiful and affordable cabinets. Selman from USA Cabinet helped us in selecting the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity as well as designing the kitchen. Selman is professional and knowledgable. He was able to accommodate my timeframe despite the COVID19 delivery challenges. The cabinets arrived on time. We had a great experience and the cabinets are elegant and functional.

Erin Kurilla: We purchased our kitchen cabinets through USA Cabinet Store in Fairfax. We had a great experience working with David Kara & the installation team did an awesome job. We plan to use them for our bathroom remodel as well.

Sharon Thomas: We really appreciated the professional design guidance which USA Cabinets provided for our kitchen remodeling project. The cabinets are top-quality craftsmanship with so many designs, finishes, layouts and price ranges. The delivery was prompt and the customer service was impeccable. In particular, David and Sean were incredibly patient and helpful in developing our cabinet design and layout and also, when we had any issues that arose. We are glad that we chose USA Cabinet store to provide the cabinets and accessories for our kitchen remodeling project. Service: Remodeling

roger rufe: We recently purchased a home that had been remodeled with USA Cabinets. We had concerns with a drawer and a door in the kitchen but had no information on a warranty or when and who installed the cabinets. We went to our local USA Cabinet Store and they were very helpful in determining that the Fairfax Virginia store had done the installation and put us in touch with the store manager, Sean Yilmaz. Sean immediately came to our home, personally repaired the drawer and ordered a new door. He later installed the new door as soon as he received it. We have rarely experienced the prompt, courteous service and attention to detail that we received from Sean. It was pleasure to work with someone with such superb customer service.

SAHIN YILMAZ: From one very happy customer. ' USA Cabinet Store delivered exactly the kitchen that I wanted: modern yet timeless, simple yet well made and within budget and schedule. The whole renovation experience was excellent from start to finish. David, lead designer, took his time to explain the options to achieve the look I wanted and provided as much information as necessary. I very much appreciated David’s practical solutions and thoughtful guidance. After the design was finalized, Sean took over as project manager. He established clear lines of communication right at the beginning which was very comforting. Sean answered all my questions and followed through the entire process.Installer team are all efficient and professional. The team were respectful of the space, controlled the dust as much as they could, kept the area clean at the end of each day, and addressed the very minor issues that arose without delay nor hassle. Everything were nicely installed and properly aligned. Even the plumbing work under the kitchen sink was neatly done. I am very thankful for the great job!

Christina FG: I cannot say enough good things about David, Sean and the team at USA Cabinet Store. Working with David to design my kitchen was fun, educational and there were so many options that David was able to show me and incorporate into our kitchen to maximize our storage in our space. David is a great communicator and kept us informed of timelines. Installation was a breeze and I think the best part of USA Cabinet Store is they stand behind their cabinets and work. They have been so responsive when I have have called to have little adjustments done to our cabinets and counter and done the work in a very timely manner. I highly recommend USA Cabinet Store. I am in love with my kitchen. UPDATE on my first review. I had some issues with my kitchen and Sean and Emin went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my kitchen. They listened to my frustrations and took the steps to correct what was wrong in a timely manner. Their customer service is top notch!

Bath Plus Kitchen: what do users think?

Katie Wilson: We had a great experience with Bath+Kitchen at our DC row house. Eric and team offered helpful suggestions and options to help us make decisions without being pushy. Communication was great the whole way through. The team that actually did the renovation was professional, courteous and worked fast. The final result was completely as expected and reflected the 3D renderings. Any small items that required follow up at the time that the renovation was done were addressed promptly. I can’t believe how much more space we have and our kitchen is so much more functional. Also, it looks beautiful! Would highly recommend. Thanks! Services: Remodeling , Cabinet installation , Kitchen countertop replacement , Kitchen design , Kitchen cabinet installation

Nicole Tidwell: I LOVED working with Bath Plus Kitchen on my kitchen remodel! Eric and his team are great to work - have excellent design ideas, very communicative and made the overall design and remodeling process very easy! Luis and his crew that handled the demo and install were also so great - very communicative, respectful of the space and patient with nosey dogs who wanted to see what they were up to each day! Would highly recommend as I could not be more pleased with how it all turned out! Services: Repair water fixtures , Remodeling , Tile work installation , Cabinet design , Drywall repair , Drywall installation , Paint indoors , Repair flooring

Jill Burdick-Zupancic: We had a wonderful experience with Eric and the team at BPK. Eric reviewed pictures and measurements of our row home to see how we could make our kitchen space more functional while updating finishes. We quickly learned that we were limited with converting the space we had, but with Eric’s vision, we moved forward with moving the kitchen from a short wall to a long wall on the same floor, resulting in exactly what we wanted and a totally new look – open concept, large island, and functional cabinet space. Eric was patient and detail-oriented during the design process, making sure we went into demo knowing what to expect with the final result. Leading up to demo we decided to use BPK’s suggested construction crew; I’m so happy we did. Luis and his team were wonderful to work with. Everything was by the books (permits, no cutting corners, clear change orders) and while the project did last longer than planned, this was due to delays in appliances and materials and not due to an overfull construction schedule. This project was a significant undertaking, and I’m so thrilled with our space. I will absolutely hire Eric and team again when we are ready to start our next big project, and I’ve already recommended them to friends who have projects on their radars. Services: Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling , Cabinet installation , Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Cabinet design , Drywall repair , Drywall installation , Paint indoors

David Cooper: If you are looking to get your kitchen remodeled, Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is the company to use! From the initial visit when we described what we had in mind, everyone at Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel was incredible. They took a significant amount of time to explain the process, work through the specifics of the design with us, and help us be comfortable with the investment we were making. Marissa was outstanding throughout the design process. Once we settled on the design, we worked with Eric to quickly get the contract signed and they started the work as scheduled. Eric made the contract process easy. The people that came in and did the work were professional and very competent. The workers always cleaned up the house each evening when they were finished for the day. The company also was very quick to come by and supervise the work being done. Any minor changes were quickly handled by the supervisor. When we asked them to change some outlets for us that were not specifically in the contract, they quickly agreed. We are completely satisfied with the work that Bath Plus did on our kitchen. We are looking forward to getting a couple half-baths remodeled in the future and we will only call Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel to do the work. If you have a remodeling job that you want completed professionally, in a timely manner, with great people coordinating and doing the work, then Bath Plus Kitchen Design Remodel is who you need to contact.

Khanh Truong: Bath + Kitchen recently helped remodel my whole condo and did an amazing job. They not only revamped the kitchen and the two bathrooms, but also did new flooring, new painting, and new lighting. As Eric and Yuviny were very reliable and responsive, it spared me from the stress and headaches which normally came with remodeling projects. Eric made good suggestions and recommendations and went out of his way to accommodate my requests. I am extremely pleased with my brand new condo. Kudos to Bath + Kitchen. Services: Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling , Tile work installation , Plumbing fixture installation , Cabinet design , Paint indoors , Install flooring

caitlin leach: We love our newly remodeled kitchen thanks to Bath + Kitchen! Highly highly recommend. Eric worked within our space-constraints to design a kitchen that maximized every inch and better utilized the space. His design stuck to our budget and yet the quality of the materials and craftsmanship was not compromised at all. Luis and his crew were incredibly professional, courteous, and clearly talented. They kept the jobsite clean so that we could live at home during the project. Their skill and attention to detail is clear in the finished project. They also ably fixed some serious issues created by a previous owner’s DIY reno. Amazingly, the crew even finished the job ahead of schedule. We could not be happier with our kitchen and recommend Bath + Kitchen without reservation. Services: Custom cabinet design & installation , Remodeling

Sophia Moshasha: I was worried about how stressful my kitchen renovation project would be but after years of consulting many different design build companies I decided to work with Bath Plus. Their team helped guide me through the process. They were very helpful with the design and selection phase. They even helped me select appliances and electrical fixtures which other companies said I’d have to handle on my own. I highly recommend working with them if you’re looking for a competitive price on your kitchen remodel project but want to work professionals you take pride in what they do!

Emily Kroiss: I am very happy with the work that Bath Plus Kitchen did for my kitchen renovation. Our outdated kitchen was completely gutted, and the final result has changed the entire feel of our house. They were able to start the project immediately, which was very important to us, and stuck to their timeline. Eric worked with us diligently to provide advice on a number of topics and to promptly resolve any issues, and his team was hardworking and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking to complete a kitchen renovation.

California Closets - Washington DC: what do users think?

Elizabeth Nova: I have used California Closets in 3 houses and their work is exceptional and the quality outstanding. My designer was pleasant, efficient and did an amazing job designing a new pantry and 3 large closets. The installer was on time and did an incredible job putting it all together and cleaning up after. The materials are so strong and dyrable and very beautiful. Shelves are adjustable. Please express my deep appreciation to the designer and installer. CC is worth every penny and I highly recommend them. Services: Cabinetry & hardware design , Closet design , Kitchen design

CH: Over the years I had excellent experiences with California Closet. Although the company exchanged hands. But, nevertheless I had the installations of my closets in my two condos by their excellent Designers and Installers. In the past, I worked with Marsha, Designer, and Ralph the installer; and most recently with Colleen Cuff, Designer who I highly recommend for her professionalism, efficiency, experience and follow-up through the installation phase. The installer Mr. Dong was just superb, efficient, courteous, meticulous and the work was flawless. Definetely I would recommend their services. Services: Cabinetry & hardware design , Closet design , Cabinet construction & installation

Wendy Patten: I used this company to install wall to wall bookshelves. I wanted something that we aesthetic but could really handle all my books. The designer did a great job meeting with us to review our needs and what we wanted. She kept flexible and submitted several options. We chose our favorite option. The installation was done in one day and done well. There was a need to come back for a small correction and they did a great job with that as well.

Carol Weiss: California Closets designed and installed a home office — wraparound desk with shelving, drawers, special inside cabinet for printer, etc. The designer did an excellent job translating my vision into a highly detailed concept drawing that fit some tricky dimensions including a window on one side of the desk. The designer provided options and guidance for materials and colors, and ensured the design was exactly what we wanted. Installation was meticulously carried out; the two techs were extremely professional and everything fit perfectly. They also thoroughly cleaned up poop afterwards. California Closets created a functional and high quality home office at a fraction of the cost that a custom design contractor would charge. We couldn’t be more pleased. Service: Custom furniture

Kendra Bacchus: The design process with Reza was great. My needs were taken into consideration 99% of the time. I knew what I wanted prior to meeting which made the process smooth. Once I signed off on design and made a deposit I waited roughly 3 months….which was expected in the height of the pandemic. When the installers arrived- the process took an entire day( was expected) the installer Franklin worked efficiently and communicated well when an issue would arise. At the end of the build Franklin walked me through the builds (Main closet and Laundry room). I was very pleased with the work executed. Later on after the installers left- my husband noticed that we were not able to access the water or electrical in Laundry room if an emergency were to occur-I promptly notified my designer and he said it was missed during the install and was in the original design. I also realized I could use a few more shelves in my main closet so I was able to order additional. It took a few months for the shelves to come in as well as the update to the missed opening for the laundry room. The shelves were not the right size and the opening that was cut was vey shotty. The new installer was able to cut shelves on site ( not the best quality) and the hole that was cut in order for us to access the water for washing machine was a mess… the integrity of the unit was compromised and I was told I could lose an entire shelf of storage. So…..waited a few more months a supervisor inspected the unit in laundry room, was told that the entire side needed to be replaced. Fast forward to a few more months….Installer came in tried to repair hole by using drywall caulk and blue painters tape. Not happy and I was told that they will be ordering a new panel …..still waiting. I paid for all services 100% (1 year of waiting for correction). Although I was extremely pleased with the overall install- my experience has deteriorated with how the small mistake has turned into uncertainty of the quality of my laundry room build. My designer Rena was excellent and the initial installer Franklin did an impeccable job with both the main closet and laundry room, so sad that a small miss made such a huge impact on overall service. Service: Closet design

AJ Finkelstein: I wanted to turn a mudroom into a pantry by lining it with open shelves. before I moved into my "new" 100-year-old house. The CC rep seemed a little doubtful at first but she embraced the concept. We spent one very productive evening on design and the deed was done. It took many months to get installed, which was a bit annoying, but it went smoothly when it finally happened. And the pantry is excellent, Service: Cabinet construction & installation

Neiletta Wright: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessI’ve had 3 closets done by California Closets and I’ve been satisfied everytime. My sales rep Jean-Paul was very professional and always available to answer any questions that I had. He also understood my vision and helped me create a closet that was best catered to my needs. Definitely recommend.

jems stock: The kitchen and bathrooms look amazing (I am very impressed with the tile work). Communication throughout the project was excellent. They were also very helpful in providing design advice. Overall I am very happy with the results.

David Craig: September 2018: Remodel USA completed a full kitchen remodel project for me and they did a wonderful job. I am completely satisfied with their work. I love my new kitchen. February 2019: Remodel USA completed a full basement bathroom remodel project for me. Remodel USA installed all new materials and fixtures, including tub, tile, flooring, vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, lights & wall switches, vent fan, and doors. And they painted the walls. I am pleased with the work. It was a 1-week effort. Everything was done on schedule. July 2019: Just like my basement bathroom, Remodel USA completely remodeled my upstairs bathroom. They installed all new materials and fixtures, including tub, tile, flooring, vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, lights & wall switches, vent fan, and doors. Walls were painted. It was a 1-week effort. I am pleased with the work.

Reema Verma: I was thoroughly impressed with Remodel USA and with the Owens Corning system from day one through to final completion. Tamarah Curtis: Great experience with Remodel USA from the start. Detailed explanation on the process. When the crew arrived they covered everything from the stairs and hallway to the bathroom sink to protect from damage. They finished the demo and install in just under 2 days. It looks really nice in there now and glad to have a working shower!

Jewel Bell: Today was a great day with Taylor! The art of negotiation was present but we agreed to a price that I was comfortable with. She spent nearly 6 hours going over products and ensuring I was satisfied. I would recommend Taylor as a sales representative to someone who is looking to update a kitchen. She is definitely patient, considerate and honest!

Richard Kosmer: The Remodel USA crew was very professional at all times while in our home. They always respected me and my home as well. They did an excellent job and my wife and I are very pleased with their work. You have an excellent product and good people working with you from beginning to end. Life is good when you can shower in style, which my wife and I can now do thanks to Remodel USA and our new Kohler Luxstone shower!

Derick Rodriguez: Sales person we had gave us a great price. The installers were very good and fast. Even after the manufacturers shipped a window broken. They kept me updated with info. Even the installer did. Windows looks great and a awesome product.

Montgomery Kitchen & Bath: what do users think?

Traffic Report: You can tell how good a business is in two small ways -- how they answer the phone when you call and how they handle problems after the sale. Based on these two criteria, Montgomery Kitchen & Bath is one of the best businesses in the region. Our new house was built in 2015 and I needed to replace a drawer front. When I called Montgomery Kitchen & Bath, Jordan answered the phone. I imagine they must have had thousands of customers and projects since 2015, but as soon as I started to provide some basic information, he immediately was able to identify my builder and was able to direct me to the designer that worked with my builder. That was amazing and reminded me of the days we had mom and pop shops and the business really knew and cared about each customer, as opposed to the big box stores today where you are just an account number. Autumn was the designer for my project. She explained that since my project was old, she would have to get my files from the storage to make sure we get the right replacement. Over the next few days, she was able to pull the files and worked with me to ensure we identify the correct product for replacement. She also contacted the mill to see if they could date-match the paint (the mill could not). After discussing my situation with her, she was able to order the replacement free of charge and said she would have the mill Fedex it to my house. I thought what she did was beyond my expectation and her work really demonstrated great customer service and the firm commitment the business makes to its customers. Sure, it is great to make a great sale. But after-sale service a few years down the road really distinguishes the top businesses from the rest. Thank you Jordan and Autumn. P.S. When I received the replacement, I will update this post and let you all know how it goes.

Aaron Cohen: We are extremely happy with the kitchen designed by Montgomery Kitchens and Bath. The final product exceeded all our expectations - the cabinets, the layout, the appliances, the lights, the granite, the hardwood floors... all fit well together. We have seen a lot of kitchens in the past few years since we started thinking about redoing our own kitchen and I think that we ended up with the best designed kitchen in our development in Potomac, MD. We still cannot believe we have such a nice kitchen at such a reasonable price. I also want to say that it was pleasure working with Keith Hudson. He understood our needs and the budget and provided us with the best product that this money can buy. Cooking in this kitchen is total pleasure!! Thank you, Keith!! You and your entire team was pleasure to work with. Great experience.

Nancy Harlan: Damaris carefully guided us through our process of designing and installing a vanity in our new bathroom. She was patient with our decision making. Current drawings of the design and cost were emailed to us whenever major decisions were made. She spent extra time with us in thinking about type and color of vanity top, even though we were not buying that item from Montgomery Kitchen and Bath. Damaris sent us samples of hardware for the vanity drawers so we could better make a decision with the real items beside our samples of doors, tile, paint, etc. Once the vanity was on order, Damaris helped us in ordering hardware for a built-in closet we were doing with a different company. The vanity was finished and delivered in a timely fashion. We ordered built-in dividers and they were just as well made as the rest of the vanity. We love our beautiful, new vanity! We would recommend Montgomery Kitchen and Bath to others.

Ellen Wilner: I have been a practicing architect in the Washington metropolitan area for the last forty years, and have used Montgomery Kitchen and Bath almost exclusively for my clients during that time. I have found that their expertise in kitchen design and layout to vastly exceed the skills of rival companies. Their finished product is always capably installed, and has never failed to meet my high standards, as well as provide total customer satisfaction. I have always found their prices to be fair and reasonable at all price points. I recommend them without any reservation whatsoever.

Diane Demers: We love our new kitchen that was designed and installed by Montgomery Kitchen and Bath. Throughout the whole process our designer, Keith Hudson, kept our budget, lifestyle and needs in mind. Keith and all of his team members were professional, knowledgeable and provided quick responses, guidance and/or resolution to any problem or questions that came up during the project. The final project is so much more than an updated kitchen. While staying within budget and within the original footprint, we now have a beautiful kitchen that has much more storage and working space. Our kitchen has now become a gathering space for family and friends where we can easily share kitchen duties. Thank you Keith, Salma, Michelle, Elgin and all the others who were part of this project. The final project is so much more than we ever expected. We love it and would not hesitate to return to Montgomery Kitchen and Bath for other projects.

Dorissa Delbridge: My husband and I were referred to Montgomery Kitchen & Bath by my mother. We worked with Salma on our master vanity renovation. She was a true pleasure to work with. She made everything so easy for us to understand and turned a stressful project into a true breeze. She was very responsive and helpful, even after the sale! I look forward to working with her and the MK&B team for our kitchen renovation in the future.

Johnathan H. Ramos: As an established Architect, I send all of my clients that need cabinetry to MK&B. I have been doing business with them for 3 years now and I have never had an unhappy client or have been disappointed myself. They are a professional company that has been in this industry for decades and it shows through their work and their employees. No other kitchen and bath company that I have worked with in the past can surpass their attention to detail, high quality cabinetry and execution of projects. The only mistake you can make regarding MK&B is to choose another company.

Kitchen & Bath Creations LLC: what do users think?

Francis Ferraro: My Wife and I made many visits to their showroom and worked with one of their designers who was very patient and helpful. The designer made great suggestions and guided us through some real tough spots since this was our first kitchen remodel. They carry quite a few different brands but we told her what we wanted to spend and she directed us to cabinets that we loved and could afford. Our kitchen turned out better than we could have imagined.

K Turk: Re-doing our kitchen was a great experience. Chrissy Hogan, the designer we worked with at KBC, could not have been more helpful, creative, and reliable, as well as personable and easy to work with! She made sure that I understood the variety of products and prices that were available. She was sensitive to my reactions to various products and helped me navigate the many decisions we had to make. She recommended a fabulous contractor (Matt Weaver), and our project went more smoothly than I could have imagined. Chrissy followed up on every detail, and made a number of great suggestions. I recommend KBC and Chrissy very highly.

Christina Robinson: KBC is a very customer-service oriented kitchen and bath cabinetry supplier, and I am pleased to rate them with five stars! I am an independent designer and I deal with many area showrooms and salespeople, and this company is top-notch! From the owner to the customer service reps and delivery personnel, everyone here speaks the same language and it is SERVICE. They carry a variety of product lines at different price points, so of course some are better than others -and there is always the possibility of product issues because human beings make them - but I have never once had the few issues I have encountered not be satisfactorily resolved. My sales rep (Lisa Altman) is particularly fabulous - she is super attentive to detail, the urgency of my projects, and very good at follow through after an installation begins. I highly recommend this company!

Rich Vallaster III: Positive: ProfessionalismI wanted to share how amazing Kim at KBC was at working with us. She opened our eyes to new ideas on building our dream kitchen (with a resonable budget). She really took our space and maximized it. We feel lukcy she was involved in our project and had come highly recommended from our contract. Thanks Kim and team!

Gary Horsman: This company has a very creative team of designers who know the products well and can outline options efficiently after understanding your needs and desires. When it comes to a kitchen layout/design small things count a great deal and KBC Direct attends to the details. A kitchen is often the center of a home and KBC really can make the center shine!

Rick Kipp: I work with Mr. Kelly Ridings at KBC on a regular basis. Because of his attention to detail in his designs, and willingness to go above and beyond, I followed him from another major cabinet supplier (Which I worked with for 30 years) to KBC. I am glad I did! Kelly fits right in at KBC. I have worked with everyone from the manager to customer service and the delivery guys. Everyone at KBC gives you the time you need without hesitation. The products offered are superior to what I was using, and KBC makes It easy to compare cabinets with the pricing system they have in place. They are professional, knowledgeable about their products and offer the best customer service in the industry. I am a general contractor, in my world; KBC is a breath of fresh air. Thanks Guys! Rick Kipp, Kipp’s Contracting

Kim Boisvert: Great salesman and saleswoman, top notch service. If something comes in damaged in the slightest they hire guys to get it fixed and fixed correctly.

DC Central Kitchen: what do users think?

Ming: DC Central Kitchen is the nation’s first and leading community kitchen that recycles food from around Washington, D.C. They create great impact by combating hunger and creating opportunity for the unemployed. They welcome volunteers as "Hungerfighters" in helping to transform wasted food into balanced meals for our community.

David Abercrombie: Great place to do community service projects for kids 12 and above. My wife , daughter and I spent New Year’s Eve there preparing food for the needy.

Diana Weiss: The entrance is around the back of the building. My group of 30 volunteers had a wonderful time with the kitchen staff helping prepare meals. It was inspiring and humbling.

Lisa Paquette: The DC Central Kitchen is an amazing place. I have volunteered a few times in the kitchen preparing meals. It is a wonderful experience to work in the kitchen with the DC Central Kitchen staff and program trainees. We got to chop, peel, and package vegetables and other parts of the meal. This is a great place to volunteer with a big group of friends or with your office.

Ursula Lauriston: Volunteered here on my birthday last year and I may just do it again! What a great way to spend a bday. The people here are committed to the mission of feeding those in need; they are kind, generous, and pleasant to work with. And the food is so delicious! I enjoyed lunch with the other volunteers at the end of the day.

Corrie Davidson: This amazing organization is not only a leader in sustainability (repurposing leftover food, "imperfect" food items, and local farm goods), they are a shining example of a high-functioning social services organization building up the local community. They distribute healthy meals to a number of other organizations around the area (including schools), offer job training and life counseling for displaced persons, and are empowering student volunteers across America to implement their own "food recycling" programs, eliminating waste and serving the community. “Please note that DC Central Kitchen cannot be entered from 2nd Street. The entrance to the Central Kitchen is at the back of this building, down the service road off of E Street NW.”

Matt DiNuzzo: One of my favorite organizations in DC. Their ability to repurpose food that would go to waste to feed those who need it is inspiring. Also their culinary program is a great training while preparing those meals.

Terri West: As the Service Coordinator for Capitol Hill Towes in Washington, DC. I would like to thank World Central Kitchen and Chef Jose Andres for supplying meals to our seniors.

Modern Style Construction LLC: what do users think?

Michael Kim McQuay: Modern Style Construction recently completed a design-build renovation project on our Silver Spring home, transforming the unfinished basement of a 90-year old house into a beautiful living space with family room, office, three-piece bathroom, laundry room, and storage space. We are tremendously pleased with the result and grateful for the professionalism and attention to detail that marked every step of our working relationship with Sergei Tsoy and his team. The project proceeded seamlessly from preliminary consultation visit and costing, through design and selection of finishing materials and municipal permits, to the onsite work. We were impressed with the consistent quality of workmanship from framing, through plumbing and electrical work, to flooring, drywalling, painting, and final finishing. The Modern Style team provided superb support on the design of the space, including patience with adjustments made at our request as work proceed and thoughtful advice on soundproofing and other options. We were especially pleased with the elegant solution found to replace the intrusive old gravity-fed radiator pipes with copper pipes mounted flush with the joists, which resulted in greater ceiling height and design aesthetic. The core construction team brought a superb mix of skills and attention to detail, worked neatly, and were friendly and polite. Modern Style has our highest recommendation to prospective clients. We look forward to working with them on a series of home renovation projects to follow. Kim McQuay and Lazeena Muna-McQuay Service: Remodeling

Trevor Malet: We had a unbelievable experience with the Modern Style Construction Team. We found them randomly on Yelp and I would highly recommend them for anyone doing a remodel. They are extremely responsive, extremely quick, but more importantly very detail oriented. We just bought a new condo and the MSC team completely redid our bathroom (new tile, bathtub to shower, paint, etc). If you are looking for a trusted construction partner, I would highly recommend the team as they did a great job!

Luna Galaxie: I’m a relatively new homeowner and have never hired a contractor before for any serious home remodeling project. I approached the issue with trepidation having heard and read all the stories of things going bad. So, I did quite a bit of research that led me to Modern Style Construction as a candidate in my short list. Existing reviews highlighted one of the qualities that was important to me: good communication. I’m a very stressful person, and if something goes wrong I become very impatient and restless until it is resolved. Well, I’m glad I chose MSC because they shine in that department. The signs were there from the very first visit. The owner, Sergei, communicated impeccably with me and arrived at the exact time of our appointment. His bid was very competitive and the aesthetics of previous projects in his portfolio were a good match. Once the project (master suite remodeling, bathroom update, powder room update) started, communication always remained excellent. They are very organized with well-defined roles for their personnel. We already had a very specific vision in mind of what we wanted to do and well-formed preferences for the materials. Nevertheless, their in-home designer, Michelle, was extremely helpful creating visualizations and precise renderings, and assisting with the purchases of the materials. The project manager Abel was also very responsive, while Victor the lead carpenter was very pleasant, respectful of our time and space, and a good listener. I’m overall happy with the end results and think that the finished project looks beautiful. A full assessment can always be made over time, but Sergei has assured me that if any issues arise in the next few months, they will be addressed. Did everything go perfectly from start to finish? Of course not, as with any project. But the fact that MSC was receptive to our feedback, quickly recognized issues that needed to be rectified, and was in constant communication with us about them, are the main reasons I will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

shilpa kasuba: I was referred to Modern Style Construction by my coworker had remodeled their basement with them. I would say this was the best experience I have had with a contractor. They were very prompt on their schedule, always returned phone calls and kept us up to date throughout the entire project. Their project management is top notch and great customer service. We love our basement and our family spends most of the time downstairs. Great job, Modern Style. Project Cost: $120k Was done in March 2017

Andrew Thornes: Recently MSC did a complete gut and remodel of our bathroom at our home from the 1940s. After meeting with a bunch of companies to get price quotes for the job, we selected MSC. We chose them because the process and pricing was made very clear and was easy to understand with the help of Sergei. Sergei came to our home twice to explain the process and cost and put us at ease with selecting them. Price wise, they were a middle of the road company. There are cheaper companies out there but for such an important job to be done, I would rather pay a little bit more to have a better finished product. Being a couple with just one bathroom with a baby on the way, we made it clear that time was a factor to getting the job done because of the number of projects still left to do at the house to prepare for the arrival of our first child. Sergei had assured us that he could get the job done within our time frame and he did not disappoint even with the wild, snowy winter we just had. The job was done on time and looked great. There were a few snags here and there with some of the plumbing issues but they were quickly and completely fixed. Having been through the process I would definitely recommend this company without hesitation for any bathroom remodel job. I strongly feel when we sell this house in the future that we will get our investment back from this job.

Yvette Bailhache: 100% happy with the service and professionalism of the entire MSC team. Sergei, Michelle were ALWAYS available via email or phone with any questions, concerns, or updates. Our contractor Jose was always on time, very meticulous, and extremely good at his work. They regutted our hideous out-of-date condo master bathroom and turned it into something truly amazing I have not one single complaint about these guys. You can truly trust them to come into your home and take care of business!

Erika Taylor: I recently had my bathroom renovated by MSC. This was my first major indoor project, and everyone was extremely courteous and professional. The quality of the work was top-notch, and I absolutely love my new bathroom! I highly recommend them to anyone.

We subsequently re-hired him to add a deck, and additional basement storage room and do some hardscaping in the back of our house. Nash is a great communicator and always keeps you in the loop with decisions which need to be made without overwhelming you. Sherry Wilkins: Carpenters of Georgetown was the “Go To” for my renovation & home improvements projects. With that said, you will definitely experience the best from this company … Excellence in customer service, quality in service and most of all great pricing. I highly recommend them for the best and quality services in the DMV (Washington, DC) area. Jim Helmink: An absolutely fabulous experience for a total Georgetown townhouse renovation. The work his team does is top notch, the work was completed on time, his pricing was accurate, and communication was excellent. I was able to track the project from several states away, get my questions answered promptly, and always felt like he was being fair. What I really appreciate is his knowledge of Georgetown homes in particular. It takes a special talent to refresh a historical property in Georgetown and he was able to completely update our home while maintaining its historical exterior. I would highly recommend working with Carpenters of Georgetown on any renovation project that you have.

Benjamin Blue: A referral from our realtor. And what a blessing. These guys are on point and amazing. From design, to permitting and having our house professionally cleaned. Mess Hall: what do users think?

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: Good people I found a GEM!! With pizza being my favorite food, when I saw article about the spot… I dipped to go get it. Specializing in Detroit style pies… The spot is a must have. Where I am: @Motownsquaredc . Location Reviewed: 703 Edgewood St., N.E. Washington D.C. . Menu Includes: Their “OG” Wisconsin brick cheese pie, a pepperoni pie, a Greek pie with cherry tomatoes & feta, a BBQ chicken pie, & their “Tibs” pie with brick cheese, onions, and beef chunks. . What I got/rating: One large pie $28. Half of the pie was their “Motor City”(Brick cheese, mozzarella, sliced spicy sausage, ricotta, hot honey, crushed tomatoes, & parsley). STAMP!! The slightly dense cheese, & the flavorful marinara with fresh ingredients…PERFECTION!! The other pie half was their “Jerome’s in the House”(Brick Cheese, Mozzarella, pepperoni, green peppers, & mushrooms). STAMP!! Freshness in every bite!! Top notch pizza!! Lastly I got their cheese sticks (with marinara $8). STAMP!! Again…the cheese, the crust. Tasty!! . Customer Service: Welcoming & Attentive!! . Online Navigation: Easy, third party delivery available. . Parking: Street parking. . Recommend: Highly!! Get the Motor City pie. . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=STAMP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️=DECENT ⭐️⭐️=PASS ⭐️=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

Meredith Ives: KIMCHI’s vegan bulgogi is INSANE. First bite I said “holy shit” out loud, and every other bite was just as good. The vegan thai iced tea tastes like cake in the best way. Love having Mess Hall so close and can’t wait to try other options!

Susan Huemmer: I was in town for a team building event with my JLL besties and the steamed crab lesson and meal was wonderful. Im a Marylander but the experience to see the ladies show others how to eat a steamed crab was fun, then to see the newbies eat their first crab was a riot. The food was excellent and I love that they accommodated a few non seafood lovin attendees with a separate meal. Great atmosphere, fun, bright and friendly environment. I highly recommend.

Andrew Wydra: Al and his team hosted an interactive food event which was an amazing experience! Book or join one of their events, you won’t be disappointed.

Sarah Joyce: A rotating selection of pop-up restaurants! Rooster and Owl is particularly wonderful. Seating is community style, and there is even a charging station for multiple phones/devices available as a complimentary service. The kitchen/prep areas are highly visible and there are even screens to watch food preparation! The building and décor alone make this experience very luxurious.
