CLUB ELEVATE: what do users think?
Kristal “Kick it With Kristal” Bartley
Kristal “Kick it With Kristal” Bartley: This was a very nice vibe for Poetry on a Wednesday night in DC.I love the lights and hookahs! Limited parking.Street Parking.Security.Clean.Limited Seating. Multilevel. Art. Outside seating. I’d come back.
erik rodriguez
erik rodriguez: I was traveling to see a old friend of mine from high school I had big expectations for the capital of the United States, being that I was only gonna be in town for only 2 nights I was hoping the one night we could go out would be a blast, unfortunately the could be further from the truth. First the bouncers were VERY rude to us and for most of the people in line to the point were there could’ve been an altercation between us, but we tried to not let that ruin our night, thinks only got worse from there. We requested a table before hand and pay a good bit to get it, turns out they couldn’t give us the table because they apparently already gave it to another group, things could’ve be fine if we simply got our refund but unfortunately that wasn’t the case, after pleading our case over and over with to the management we decided to leave CLUB ELEVATE to go to some bar down the road before heading back home with this bad taste in our mouths. Would not recommend this place even to my enemies. Thumbs down
terry
terry: When I was 10 years old I had a dream. A dream so vivid that I woke up frantically from my bed, and ran to my mothers bedside crying. When asked what’s wrong all I could muster was “they robbed me”. To my surprise, it almost seemed like dejavu when I realized Club Elevate refused to refund me for a section I never used. $600 is what I paid. $600 is what I will never get back. All I can ask is that as someone reading this review, as someone who is considering attending such a terrible establishment, please “elevate” your standards and go elsewhere. I leave you with a quote by Winston Churchill and he said “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Even without the $600 in my bank account, I will continue to live, I will continue to prosper. But I will never, and I mean never, stop hating on Club Elevate. In other words, DONT COME HERE.
Shukriyyah Greaves
Shukriyyah Greaves: This place desperately wants to be an upscale club but for the amount of money I rather go to echo stage or 9:30 club . They want you to pay 5 star prices just so they can serve you drinks out of red solo cups. The booths are falling apart dingy like an old dennys. The door person or whomever they are was in sweat pants collecting payment like she rolled out of bed. Can’t enforce a dress code if your staff looks homey. The bottle service girls are cute , bartenders are great and can make a decent cocktail. The owner is oblivious cheap so this club reads cheap which is unfortunate. Don’t plan on going back here, this felt like a last stop for minors or a place for kids because they didn’t really card and the standards are appropriate for such . We had fun dancing. It was a good crowd, felt safe, the woman to man ratio was about 4-1 which is a bonus anywhere ! Just had the plastic cup situation and the cheap furniture…like come on, and of course the bathroom was disgusting and probably only gets cleaned in the morning.
Malick Dakama
Malick Dakama: A bit disappointing 😞. The place is a bit expensive for the overall quality of the place. The DJ was all over the place and letting people down in the middle of good songs; not if he was noticing the empty dance right after each time he does that. But the staff was very nice. Elevate can do better!
Byron Medina
Byron Medina: Absolutely worst establishment in the DC area, stole $600 from me and after being promised a refund has been terrible to communicate with as he hasn’t responded to me. Wish I could leave zero stars and never come back ever again.

Decades DC: what do users think?
Alex Vlad
Alex Vlad: I’ve been coming to this spot for years now, and it never fails to deliver that one-of- a kind retro timeless experience. The floors are all unique with their own theme— from 2000s to 90s to hip-hop/ and an EDM rooftop, music and DJs are always on point, and the staff and security are always very friendly and helpful. The venue is clean and hand sanitizer stations are offered; the staff wears masks, and considering we are in hard times with COVID im happy I can still enjoy clubbing, and a night out with friends safely. Overall, I would highly recommend Decades to anyone as its gives you a little bit of everything and more!
Kim & Ben
Kim & Ben: We were a little nervous to visit decades after reading the reviews, but we ended up going for a bit to celebrate a friend’s birthday and actually had a great time! The line to enter was long, but moved quickly. They did a thorough check point where they pat you down, check bags and check jacket pockets. You get carded at the door and have to pay a $20 cover if you don’t have a VIP pass. We all got the free VIP pass off their website and, so we didn’t have to pay the cover fee. Once inside, you can visit each floor of the club to get a different music experience. The top floor was the most crowded, and it was very hot, but our group still had a good time dancing. One of the middle floors (I think it was the 90’s floor) was less crowded, and you could feel the air conditioning, so we stayed there most of the time. Our friends said the bartenders were nice, and we didn’t have any negative experiences with bouncers either. We had a ton of fun at Decades and would love to visit again sometime! If you haven’t been, I’d stop by and give it a try!
Itzel Trejo
Itzel Trejo: I used to love this place but friends and I went to a day party after Sunday brunch and saw a rat right on the rooftop bar. We notified staff and they did not care. We decided to leave because the rat was right next to the bottles so we felt uncomfortable getting drinks. Staff response was that we live in a city and rats are everywhere and although I understand there’s still expectations when it comes to rats near what costumers consume. I would have expected a better costumer service response. Go at your own risk.
Niyah Baptiste
Niyah Baptiste: I would definitely recommend, me and my sisters celebrated our birthday here and it was on point!! Music was amazing drinks were decent priced. I’d definitely suggest getting there early so you don’t get caught in the rush of people tryna get to the “good”floors. It was definitely the vibe 10/10 totally going back.
Ali Hamza Dar
Ali Hamza Dar: I have the worst experience in this club. First we almost spend over 1500 on Thursday night on my friend birthday. Towards the end of it I wanted to use the bathroom and this one security guy did not let me use the bathroom. After I insist I really need to use it badly than he told me that if I give him 100 dollar and the other security guy 100 then he will let me use the bathroom. What a worst service is that. I ask him who is the owner of this place let me speak to him and he refuses me and told me get out of here. Is this how you treat with the customer. It was so terrible. There many other people standing and watching this incident.
Response: Hey Ali – Thank you for your feedback. Could you please send us an email to info@decadesdc.com regarding this matter, so we can further look into it.
Deanna Joan
Deanna Joan: You’ll have a good time, but be prepared to spend a lot of money! $20 cover charge and pricey drinks. But it’s spacious and clean, it doesn’t get too crowded, and they play some GREAT throwback music. Pick your battles!
Steven Fernando
Steven Fernando: Overpriced and crowded. Rude staff. Was being charged $14 for Coronas and other cheap beer pre covid, can only imagine what it’s like now. Paying that much for drinks youd atleast expect to be treated with some respect
Response: Hey Steven! Thank you for your honest feedback. Our drink prices match to those of our competitors in the area. Check out our social media for any ongoing promotions we currently have such as the $4 Budlight, $8 Absolut Mixed Drinks on Friday nights. Thank you again, and we hope to have you back soon!
Drew Inge
Drew Inge: If you’re an LGBTQ person do NOT come here. First of all, aside from the fact that this bar is not lgbt friendly it’s absolutely disgusting. The first floor of decades smells like a portopotty. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced compared to any other comparable “club” in DC. The cover is $20 which would be fine if it had any redeemable qualities worth the cover. As far as it being not LGBTQ friendly, the staff is not trained on how to handle LGBTQ people, the bathrooms are labeled All Gender but they have staff guarding them(even though they are single stall) allowing only females into one and “men”(those they deem visible men) into the room with only urinals available(on the rooftop) My personal experience on the rooftop after entering the “all gender” restroom was I was pulled out by the staff and then told I was not allowed to use that facility and I could enter the mens room because that room was for women only. I politely informed them I did not want to use the room with the urinals and the straight men and was then yelled at by security and told that I had no choice. IF YOU ADVERTISE ALL GENDER RESTROOMS THEN YOU STAND BY THAT STATEMENT. Will not return after this. I’ve visited numerous times and had multiple bad experiences but returned because I have so many straight friends who visit and want to experience different decades of music. If you want to experience the cliche of every decade and it be absolutely horrible then by all means please visit Decades DC but I’d spend my money at other establishments that cater to their clients much better; lgbtq or not.
Response: Hey Drew thank you for your honest feedback. We can assure you that we value and respect all people regardless of their race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual-orientation. Please email us at info@decadesdc.com regarding this matter, and a manager will be in contact with you.
Sophie Wophie
Sophie Wophie: Me and my friends used to love to come to decades but each time we get some sort of mistreatment. The guards are rude and RACIST. One time one of the guard told us ‘this ain’t your s**t, when we try to get to our VIP table. Ever time we go there it feels like they assume just because we’re black we can’t afford VIP. I’m tired of this racist treatment, I will take my money somewhere where it’s appreciated.

Ultrabar: what do users think?
Angela Mendoza
Angela Mendoza: I went to ultra bar recently and had a much better experience than before COVID. This club has really stepped it up, it’s not over crowded by 18+ and the music has an actually updated set. I love that I can choose the music I want to hear based on the floor. Be sure to visit them all to get the full experience and if you want a really good time you might as well get a table, they have decent bottle pricing for the area. Bottle girls there are really nice, we had Katie and she made sure we had fun.
Fernando Bernardus ABT
Fernando Bernardus ABT: Love Ultrabar! Great music and atmosphere throughout the multiple levels of the club. The mixed drinks and their first-rate line of imported beers are top notch and fairly priced, considering the fact that this establishment is located in the heart of the nation’s capital. Getting a table is extremely affordable and I would recommend it if you come with a big group of friends. Security is on point inside and outside the club. It’s simply the best 18+ club in DC. Special thanks to Jimmy, Giuseppe, Galen, for always providing my friends and me with courteous customer service.
Alexander Zacapa Centenario
Alexander Zacapa Centenario: Ultrabar happens to be among the best clubs to party in DC. The establishment has four floors with different music genres played by talented DJs, and the overall atmosphere is always entertaining. My friends and I have enjoyed table service on multiple occasions and we’ve always had a fun time. The customer service from Jimmy Mar is absolutely exceptional, I consider him a tremendous asset to Ultrabar for many reasons, as well as the entire staff who are always very welcoming, friendly, and professional. This place also has outstanding security inside and outside the club in order to ensure the safety of its patrons. It is well situated near the Verizon Center and Constitution Avenue. Check out their pictures online showing how crowded and lit this place is. It is truly amazing on so many levels. Just make sure to look your best by following their dress code. Be ready to have a good time! In conclusion, I strongly recommend Ultrabar to anyone looking to have an enjoyable night out.
Alex Gonzalez
Alex Gonzalez: Perfect place for those who want a bit of everything. Sometimes I get tired of hearing the same type of music so it’s nice to be able to just switch floors to get a different atmosphere instead of having to go to completely different clubs and wait in line again. It gets packed but the bartenders are really friendly so they make the wait for a drink enjoyable
Angel Long
Angel Long: Went there Saturday for one of my buddies birthday. The stairs are a killer but the top floor is jumping. VIP service the way to go the floor was a bit crowded for me. Our waitress took care of us she was cool and brought girls to our table.
Brittney Vo
Brittney Vo: Always a good time when you come here! I’ve always had a good night coming to ultra. The music is up to date and I love the variety they have. Each floor is such a different vibe and my favorite are the latin and hip hop floors.
Tianna Chantel
Tianna Chantel: This club is super cool! It has multiple floors and they each play different music so there’s a vibe for everyone! The service is fast and all of the bartenders are hot! Highly recommend!
Stephanie Trelles
Stephanie Trelles: I came to visit Washington DC for the weekend for Easter. My husband and I went to Ultrabar waiting in line for a little over 30 minutes just to get to the door and staff checking ID told my husband he was not allowed in because he had sneakers on. When I asked how come if every other male there had sneakers on and it was never mentioned in the dress code online. He responded very rudely and very unprofessional. The experience would have been a lot better if staff would have treated us fairly. I would think twice about attending this nightclub.
Xinyi Yin
Xinyi Yin: The atmosphere, drinks, and music are great! They have a variety of different music on each floor, so you will not get bored of the place. Love the bartenders, they are super friendly and fun to talk to.

Dirty Bar: what do users think?
Kel M
Kel M: If you’re partying here this Memorial Day weekend be careful. My friend and I stopped by one Saturday afternoon when there was supposed to be a Caribbean party, somehow it got canceled. However, the tickets were still on Eventbrite. Even though the party was canceled we decided to stay anyway because the DJ was great. After about 15-20 min the bouncer asked if we would leave after we finished our drinks, I think it was because we didn’t fit the demographic. All we had done was walk in go to the bar and sit down to enjoy our drinks and great vibes. Overall just an awful experience.
J Winns
J Winns: My friends and I had a great time here. It was on a Sunday for brunch buffet and bottomless mimosas. It is the perfect mix of shall I say,”Bougie and Rachet”. Upstairs and downstairs has tables and seating,so you can dress nice, have a seat, and socialize. The buffet is pretty good as well as the music which was nice with a good mix of old and new hits. The vibe is chill and ready to have a good time. While i was there i even seen a cast member from Love and Hip Hop NY which was refreshing lol. The drinks were a little pricey, but the atmosphere to me makes it not so bad.
Chad Goyette
Chad Goyette: Overpriced everything, will make you wait in line to make their establishment look busy. Once upstairs place is empty and $20 cover is too much when drinks are almost the same price. Only reason I give 2 stars and not 1 is because they did have a great sound system.
Luke Lu-LaLiberte
Luke Lu-LaLiberte: This place feels like it is owned and operated by meatheads that are running their business based on television portrayals of clubs owned by organized crime syndicates. Lasers and smoke machines? OK. Bouncers looming around permanently empty VIP section? Hmm. Bouncers that only let in a couple people every 5 minutes even though the bar is empty? Ooooook. Ridiculously high prices? Lame. Female staff dressed in lingerie? Weird. A swing with its own bouncer making sure only girls can sit on it? Oh come on, what is going on here? Gets a second star because you can drink free from 11-12 on Fridays (sign up in advance on eventbrite).

Thomas Nash
Thomas Nash: Not much more I can say other than this has become my favorite bar while living in DC. Drinks are good, while small the DJ always has the music I want to hear (R&B and real Hip Hop).
Rashida Thompson
Rashida Thompson: No one was there. Bartender was ratchet. They need to shut that place down. I will never go there again
James A
James A: Not the same Lounge of 3 pre-Covid, overpriced like the 9th street bars. They don’t even have a DJ anymore.
ty jenkins
ty jenkins: Great music, great drinks and great vibe
Kirt Floyd
Kirt Floyd: Cool dive bar on U street Wth good music
NC Herring
NC Herring: My favorite spot to go shake a leg!
Kable Corsey
Kable Corsey: Every time I go here it is always Karaoke and I love every moment of it. I wish they could expand in size, but it is definitely one of the hottest spots for a good time and good drinks! The music be the best!

Lane McCall
Lane McCall: Pros - Clean environment - Beautiful aesthetics - Great lighting effects - I got compliments lol Cons - Most bartenders are rude - $20 cover (cash only) - Venu is small and cramped - Music was severely lacking
Carson Goff
Carson Goff: Come to this bar if you want to fear for your life. Worst crowd of any bar in DuPont. Avoid at all costs.
Tracey Hart
Tracey Hart: i fly down to dc once in a while to visit friends and family and was very disappointed to learn this place was boring and colorist. They apparently dont hire women of deeper complexions and their waitresses are online arguing, being fatphobic, and unprofessional. I could never do that and expect to keep my job but of course this place has no standards so im not too surprised. Spend your money somewhere else.
Google User
Google User: Guess you gotta be a somebody to get a table or section here, I reached out way in advance before my birthday letting them know I was interested in getting a table for when I come celebrate my birthday. Someone responded asked for my contact info, left me on read and never heard from them again. It would’ve been my first time in DC and my first time going here.
Shaneaka R.
Shaneaka R.: The music was great in the room all the way to the back. Loved the decor on the ceiling. You must have to reserve the hookah because it was sold out.
soccerqueen181
soccerqueen181: Not professional! From the hiring process to the social media presence they do not know how to conduct business. They also refuse to hire women of color which is confusing because DC is referred to as chocolate city. Definitely take your business elsewhere because they need to actually learn how to run an establishment properly.
Ed E
Ed E: This place is a waste of time and money. Bad music, overpriced drinks, they want to charge a lot of money to get in, bully bouncers pushing people because they feel less in their small brains, small space. There are many other options in DC than this awful place.
Brandon Jones
Brandon Jones: It might very well be awesome, but when I went, it was deadlocked in the back bar.

Muzafar Umarov: Excellent bartenders. They are very professional and fast. Music is also very good here. Only bad part is that the place is small and can get packed really quick. But it has an awesome vibe. Especially on Fridays.
Kevin Orlandi
Kevin Orlandi: Wow! What a night! I once was lost, but then I found Heist! Place is amazing. Bartenders were slinging drinks faster than I could order them! Service with a smile is an understatement. I asked my server for a bottle and she ran so fast to get me it that she made Bo Jackson’s 40-yard dash time look slow. This establishment is the epitome of “excellence.” If I could, I’d give it ten stars!!
Alvin
Alvin: Bartender was very rude and meand. A lot of young guys but staff never on the top of that....If you want a couple of shots maybe otherwise is plenty of better spot
Kaz Okochi
Kaz Okochi: Heist is a gorgeous venue for special events, has an amazing sound system, and the art is SO unique. We cater some private events there and always are excited to get to stop by. Very upscale clientele and vibe.

Love Lacy
Love Lacy: Been here several times before. Great to see the transformation into the Bacardi Rum Room. I love the vintage feel of it. Lots of modern hacks but it gives you vibes of a time that has passed.
Le Mont Bennett (Mr Monte)
Le Mont Bennett (Mr Monte): As I topped the stairs I was transported to a magical space, Victorian parlor meets speak easy, with a few sprinkles of rave. The vibe was chill and but energetic, like meeting friends one has not seen in awhile. I met new people and had my soul filled with good music.
Will Sullivan
Will Sullivan: My favorite spot in DC. I love the different rooms and vibes in each. From live bands, DJ’s, an outdoor bar, to a nice relaxing lounge; this place has it all. I heard the owners are pretty cool too 🤙
Cary Owsley
Cary Owsley: Sweet night spot in downtown DC. There are four separate dancefloors that all place different music. On the top floor, they had a live jazz band playing as well. Reasonably priced drinks and a coat check as well. Keep in mind there is a $10 cover charge after 11.
Sharde McQueen
Sharde McQueen: Loved it!!! Everything was Fabulous drinks 🍸 people and vibes! The music was definitely a delight all the varieties were amazing 😉 will return! Our server was excellent and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better !

K A
K A: My first experience at Club Timehri was a good one. It’s a totally different vibe for me. But I must say the music was so good that I couldn’t help but dance. Overall, I had a great time. First time here and I shall definitely revisit. I highly recommend if you want to have a feel of the Caribbean night life! Good Service ✅ Good Vibes ✅ Very Friendly And Courteous Staff✅ 🚻Restroom
Response: Thank you for your review KA! We love new people trying out our venue and especially love it when you had a great time. Look forward to you visiting again. One LoVe!
Green Roses
Green Roses: I visited becoz of the good reviews. True, its wonderful. Nice vibe. Music was more soca. I hope more reagge can be played since Timehri is the home of Reagge. The bartenders were grooving like no joke. They were fast in getting the drink orders. The crowd was on fire-grooving like oh my. Music was kainda too loud for me, so I stepped away from the main floor. Thumps up. Well done Timehri. Good job. I will return with more pple.
Response: Thank you for visiting! We love to hear our guests enjoyed themselves. We try to keep a nice mix and usually it’s always more Reggae than soca so the DJ must have had some fans in his ear. Please check us out again when you’re in the neighborhood. One LoVe!
Samuel Ondieki
Samuel Ondieki: The music was good, the bartenders, security and owners were very nice and professional. Would most def visit again and recommend to any looking to have a lit night in DC
Celine Aka-Koffi
Celine Aka-Koffi: Visiting DC from New York, we came to Club Timehri two nights in a row. The Carribean music selection is so good. Drinks are good as well. There is a $10 cash only cover charge per person to get in.
Response: Thank you for visiting! Happy to hear you enjoyed yourself and we look forwarding to entertaining you on your next trip to the city. One LoVe!

Response: Shaneka, we enjoyed having you and the crew. You are welcome at Timehri every time you visit the city. Dont forget to check in on us on IG @clubtimehri. Until the next time…. One LoVe!
Imani Thibou
Imani Thibou: My experience is usually great here but on NYE I went and the music was way too loud, my ears were ringing for days afterwards. With it being such a small space it made the experience unenjoyable
Response: Hi Imani, we are very sorry to hear this and I will be honest, we had a new processor installed the day before and had some issues properly tuning the system. We have since resolved the issue and would love you to give us another try. Also please ask for a manager and allow us to treat you for giving us another chance. Thank you, Mgmt.
Pharaoh Jonez
Pharaoh Jonez: Let me tell you buddy. I was out one night bored and stumbled on this place. I got so drunk here that I ended up having the best time of my adult life. They are EXTREMELY good at mixing drinks. I mean to the point where my Long Island tasted like a sweet tea but hit like 5 shots of Henny. The bar tenders are hilarious, and it wasn’t the liquor laughing. They legit must be trained in comedy. Lastly some fine woman bit me on my back and I think I found true that night. But overall this place is a definite YES in my book.
Response: Pharaoh, this made our day! When our customers have a great time it makes us appreciate all we do to facilitate the good times and great memories created. Thank you stumbling by and definitely let us know the next time you visit. One LoVe!

Bliss Nightclub: what do users think?
Jessica Frey
Jessica Frey: I went here once for a dababy performance. The line was long but it moved pretty fast. The thing that upset me and my friends is that they had a “no sneakers policy” and one of my girls who’s a stud was wearing AF1s. She had to pay $20 extra for the sneakers but we saw plenty of men wearing sneakers who didn’t pay. We had to use cash too so it felt like the girls working the door were just trying to finesse. It was super crowded and hot. Dababy didn’t even show up until 2:30 am (club closes at 3) and I could barely hear him
Mashona Campbell
Mashona Campbell: so we had a girls trip and ended up there not only did we pay $60 a person to get in and someone told us it should have been $40 anyways want to use the bathroom all the bathroom were NASTY PAPER IN ALL TOILETS I WAS THERE FOR 4 HOURS AND COULD NOT USE THEM AT ALL YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE WOULD HAVE CLEANED THE AGAIN BUT NO ONE DID I WOULD NO RECOMMEND CLUB TO ANYONE. NOW THE ONLY PERSON THAT WAS GOOD WAS THE GUY THAT WAS DOING THE 360 THING HE WAS NICE PERIOD! OTHER THEN THAT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUB!!!!!!!
Edou
Edou: Avoid ❌coming HERE! Worst club experience in D.C. Me and my friends bought tickets online and when we went there they told us the bliss club is divided into 3 part and we were supposed to go to the All black African party which is same Bliss club, when we went in the back they told us it the wrong ticket but it wasn’t the wrong ticket because the Bliss club was clearly written there, so went to the front and when we went in the front they told us it the wrong ticket we should PAID EXTRA $20. We waited in the cold N end up pay $120 additional charge to enter the club. This people are SCAM, Don’t go there. NO MATTER WHAT U DO THEY WILL FIND REASONS TO MAKE U PAY MORE MONEY❌
Curtis Gardner
Curtis Gardner: K- Michelle was trash on 1-1-22Did more talking then singing. Bartenders was on point 5 stars for them. Overall the club was still fire with the bad performance from What’s her name.😂😂😂
Ty Williams
Ty Williams: Came from NYC to see a performance and visit some friends in the area. Arrived at the venue and the line wasn’t moving at all. Mind you, we bought our tickets online weeks prior. When we got inside it was maybe 50 people inside. Da hell! Also, after finally get to the front, we were told it’s an additional $40 because we had on timberland boots. I informed them we’re not from here and didn’t know there was a “no boot” policy. She then said she’ll charge us $20. We just said screw it and paid it since we came from out of town. This place is a joke. Several artists that I would have loved to seen have been here, but I’m never going back. Too many games. Long lines for no reason. Kid sized cups drinking cups — literally paid $20 for a jack and ginger. People with tables weren’t even happy from what I could see. One girl said their glasses were dirty and it took over an hour to get a bottle and the server never came back. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Go somewhere else.
Big Sexy
Big Sexy: There was no line and me and my 14 friends were seated immediately!! Definitely go there is NO WAIT!! And dont get me started on the cocktails MMmmmMMMmm!!
Nick Andrews
Nick Andrews: This place should be shut down after propping up a dead body on stage for a funeral. If they didn’t know it was going to happen then shame on management.

Living Room DC: what do users think?
Sara O'Day
Sara O'Day: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went to a show they were hosting (didn’t go during club hours). Their ATM inside was broken and I needed cash so I was instructed by a security member inside and the bartender to go to the ATM right next door and I would be allowed back in. The bouncer at the door stopped me and told me I would only be allowed to go back inside if I hooked up with him later and then kissed me without my consent. When I was able to get back in (with a little help from a kind stranger) I went to tell the security member what happened and he took me to the manager. The manager said he would “review” the tape but there was nothing else he could do. Upon returning to my friends the party sitting next to us told me this isn’t the first time this has happened at this spot and management does nothing. I had to have a security member walk me out at the end of the show because I was freaking out.
Laura Murgas
Laura Murgas: My review if for the bar part. The bartender was a blond woman, no idea of her name but she was not nice at all. We got tequila shots and we got charged a 20% mandatory tip (which is insane when there is literally no preparation in a plan shot) and I ask her for salt and she responded super rude and never got me the salt.
Justin David Kondrat
Justin David Kondrat: HOMOPHOBIC atmosphere within lack luster costumer service. I was shocked that places like this still exist in D.C. With blatant tokenizing of people of color for bridal parties I felt extremely uncomfortable. I felt bad for the Drag performers since they were wonderful but not sure why/how an art form such as Drag matches with such backward thinking , services and atmosphere. It was very odd to say the least. If Zero stars were an option I would follow other Google reviewers. I discourage supporting places like this as their outward disrespect justify racist, homophonic and poor business practices. Yikes!!! There are plenty of other places in DC that can fit your needs while respecting all of the communities in our society. I need some sage and a long shower.
J A
J A: First red flag: There were no people in line and we entered through the lane that was most direct of our walking path. The security said if we didn’t have a table we have to walk to the other lane that was LITERALLY 5 STEPS AWAY WITH NO LINES IN EITHER LANES. Second red flag: I ordered five shots and the old women bartender automatically added a $10 tip to the tab. Third red flag: the Dj had ZERO sense of good music. He played gasolina and danza Kuduro OVER THREE TIMES. One time is enough. The dj played oldddddd 2000s songs like bed rock. Fourth red flag: Males at this place are truly disgusting. They cannot keep their hands to themselves. They get angry if you deny yourself to speak to them. Security sees males harassing females and turn a blind eye until you have to approach them and tell them you’re being harassed. Bottom line: I do not recommend this place if you want an eventful night. DC has a lot of night life and this is by far my worst experience. Females, save yourself from disappointment.
Milan Mittra, Esq.
Milan Mittra, Esq.: Worst DJ that exists in DC. Terrible music, all night. He has no skill. Just the worst, most boring music you can imagine…..ALL NIGHT LONG…. Painful experience…..avoid this DJ!! Stay away from the Living Room!
LaShondra Graham
LaShondra Graham: Went here for a show. The drinks were overpriced and the club was very small. I enjoyed the show, but the club was just...meh 🤷🏾‍♀️
miranda raney
miranda raney: Paid a $20 cover for each of my (4) friends and I this past Friday night and was told mine was taken care of because it was my birthday. Just checked my bank account and was actually charged $120 ($40 over what I was told). Poor experience on top of being lied to and over-charged at the door. Super disappointed in this place.
edward adams
edward adams: Great place to have a get together awesome DJs wonderful visual attractions the staff was incredible I can’t wait to go back and have a party with all of my friends and meet some new ones

7Figga Dreamz
7Figga Dreamz: I mean compared to some of the other clubs, yea this place might not be the best, but when i went, i had a blast. I liked the environment. I seen one persons negative comment saying it was like someones living room, your righr, it was like back when we used to have house parties in aparments.i cam go on and on about what i liked about the place.

Soundcheck: what do users think?
Giles Peng
Giles Peng: I visited this club recently to hear some DJs I hadn’t heard live yet. Overall, it was a fun experience with a friendly crowd and very danceable music. I got there early, but the line to get in starts getting long between an hour or two after the club opens. The crowd was trendy and more than a few club-goers were quite good dancers. I’m sure to visit this club again for the intimate dance floor, nice selection of drinks, and the DJs spinning music that kept the crowd going on a fairly high fidelity sound system.
Katrina Marie
Katrina Marie: Overall experience was 8/10. DJ was pretty good. Staff was RUDE all over. (Edit): and apparently this is common after reading other’s experiences - especially women. Staff -10 👎🏽 I have worked for other Live Nation venues and have been to other Live Nation venues in other major cities and this one was the worst. It’s sucks how rude employees can be the only negative thing - it takes away from an overall great experience. But cheap tickets and decent show
Rob Garcia
Rob Garcia: 10/10 hands down. This place rocks and is a venue staple in DC. Headliners come through weekly. Staff are super professional. Lighting and sound are off the charts good.
Alice Yoon
Alice Yoon: One of the security guys outside was so rude and got me confused w another asian girl (ignorant). I asked to stand next to the heaters outside last night for a minute before my uber arrived and he said “no you put yourself in this position so you can freeze.” I was really confused as to what I did but he kept saying I was “banned from echostage(?)” and that i had “snuck into the venue” somehow. Definitely got me mixed up with some other asian girl, and didn’t take my word for it when I told him I had never seen him before in my life. Extremely rude and ruined my night
Response: Hey Alice- If you could please email matt@clubglow.com, we can further discuss this situation.
Anjie
Anjie: Meh, not worth a $30 cover. Outside staff and bathroom attendant were nice, professional. Bartenders slow and rude. They definitely pick who they want to serve and when. They look right past you as you are standing there and help someone who just walks up. Not sure if they are friends or regulars, but if you want tips or to stay open, you should treat newcomers just as good. Not to mention, with the exception of the staff, and MAYBE 10 guests, nobody was wearing a mask. A socially responsible club would enforce this mandate.
Abby Johnston
Abby Johnston: Terrible experience, specifically with the outside security- one of the bouncers was incredibly rude to me. The music they were playing inside was just not good. The place was also half empty and overall boring. Not at all worth the 30 minute line and overpriced ticket to get in.
Greg Czechowicz
Greg Czechowicz: I am giving 2 stars, but if it wasnt for the vaccine cards fiasco I would give it 5 stars. This was an vaccine card mandated show, but NO ONE asked for our vaccine cards. I even wanted to show but they said its ok, no need. If the goal is to keep people safe, why let everyone in if you say there is a vaccine mandate? Now on to the positives, great sound, but a bit too loud. Definitely need ear plugs. Drinks well priced, security kept an eye out for drunks and fights and did a great job.

Kabin Lounge: what do users think?
Kylie Manner
Kylie Manner: Cool spot. Me and the party co host thought we would all be to old but this place seemed to have a lot of different age brackets. The manager suggested we get their early to avoid the rush which turned out to be a great idea. The place got very busy. He allowed us to bring in cupcakes and was very attentive to our table. Thanks to the dj for taking a couple music requests. The server was new and sweet. She did a nice job with the bottles we ordered. The vibe was just not the same when I was here in the Summer. The music was mainly techno and house music. Crowd looked much younger.
Jonathan Bryan
Jonathan Bryan: My experience is limited to a few birthday party outings. The music selection has always been a combination of hip-hop, pop, and EDM sprinkled in. Everything was hassle free from the bar to the dance floor. The crowd was diverse and drama free. Bottle service is more expensive then you might imagine given the venue so check ahead before you book.
Steven Feigel
Steven Feigel: My least favorite bar in DC. The bathroom lines are ridiculous, as in having to wait upwards of 15 minutes. Rude, terrible service that was unacceptable. The drinks are weak and overpriced. Please go to any place but this one. This is my first bad review of a place but I felt obligated to because I had such a bad experience.
Laura Robertson
Laura Robertson: Wow, what an amazing experience! Kabin does it right. I wanted a fun night out with my girlfriends and we decided to try Kabin. We had a great night with craft cocktails and a unique venue. I will definitely try this place again.
Tondelaya R
Tondelaya R: The staff is extremely friendly. I love the bartenders there. However the new manager is a real jerk. Used to be my favorite spot, I see why some of the old staff have left.

Denise Morris
Denise Morris: Fun place the music selection is a nice mix of hip hop r&b Afro beats and a bit Latin but def they feel the audience .. bathroom ls are typical for the club… we had a section and it was cool
Response: Nice partying with you Denise! Don't be shy and feel free to put us on to any music that gets you feeling yourself, we got you! 😉 We hope to have you and your friends back next weekend!
Eboni
Eboni: Definitely enjoyed myself for my sisters bday party!! The place was JUMPING🙂
Response: It's cause it was your sister's bday! 😉 Lol it's always JUMPING, but you made our night that much extra, thank you Eboni!
Jayla Green
Jayla Green: I got a table here about 3years ago & paid over $800. The bouncer came to kick us out of the section because we wasn’t keeping bottles coming. I would never support this club again.
Nicole Johnson
Nicole Johnson: Went here on Saturday and it was sooo packed you couldn’t even see the lay out of the venue! And it was $40 per person for a cover charge!!! I have been to WAY better clubs in Vegas & Miami and never paid that for a cover in my life! Not worth it!
April
April: First time partying in DC this place is amazing I definitely recommend for a great night out
Response: Thanks April, come party with us again!
K B
K B: Service is terrible. Bouncers are rude. Hookah is electronic. I will never come here by choice, just when invited. I only gave it two stars because the inside looks nice.

Eden Lounge DC: what do users think?
Jamie Collins
Jamie Collins: This place has a lot of potential and need these guys to start creating returning customers rather than counting on getting every cent from anyone who gets into the club. drinks are kinda pricey and if they go a little cheaper, they will likely attract more customers. overall, its a nice place to go to on a busy night. can be a lot of fun.
Eduardo Amaya
Eduardo Amaya: First and last time going. I went last Friday night with my family. The girl taking payment told me it was $20, when I asked her how much it would be for the rest of my group, the bouncer must have thought I was talking about myself because he quickly stepped in and told me I’d be charged $30 because of how I was dressed and how the owner wouldn’t approve of it. Fortunately the girl taking payment was having her own side conversation and didn’t listen to his comment. I asked her again how much it would be and she charged me $20. Once inside people are usually just standing around, this is a 18+ on Fridays, and I only went because we had someone who was 19 with us. We didn’t know if you were under 21 that you couldn’t go into the roof top. The security member pulled me aside and told me that if I gave him a $20 he would take the X’s of my family members hand and allow her to go up. I declined to pay anymore to this establishment and we stayed away from the roof top. Drinks are overpriced, taste cheap, and they charge you gratuity without you knowing. If you and your friends are over 21+ I’d suggest going elsewhere, plenty of other nicer places in the DMV. The experience here is not at all what you’d expect for the price that your paying.
Danny Bowen
Danny Bowen: My group called ahead to check pricing, as some of us are 21+ and some are not (we were told that there was no cover for anyone before 11). When we arrived, the people at the door insisted that the information we had received on the phone was wrong. They had us step to the side and stand in the rain while they went to "check on it" but never got back to us. They decided on the spot to let everyone 21+ in our group in for free, splitting us up when we could have gone to a better venue if we had known the prices. It was disappointing to have received incorrect information without much followup and unreceptive customer service after we had been excited to join our friends for a night out.
Response: What happened?
Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss: Agree. So much potential for this place, but it’s over priced for no reason. The Aesthetic of this place is nice, But should not be the reason for charging a 20 entry fee; nor $14 for a skimped drink; that a bartender will comp to make full profit in only cash paid tabs. That’s deceitful. This is why there are so many bad reviews. Also the bouncers are just mean for no reason.
Briana Lopez
Briana Lopez: Me and my friends decided to give eden a try and it ended up being the worst night we’ve had! First off they make up their own rules on pricing and form of payment. According to other reviewers it just confirms my suspicion that they’re racist rude people. Once we went in there was absolutely nothing going on. The music wasn’t great, people were just standing around, there were more security guards then guests. I go to the bathrooms and there’s a security gaurd standing in the bathroom directing people into one of the two stalls like if we’re stupid animals lol. Of course being 20 i wasn’t allowed up to their crappy little rooftop. I went back out and was very kind and asked for my money back. I talked to a security guard and even he agreed I should get my money Back. Of course the girl collecting the money is greedy and she made up this absurd lie that I was in there for more then 25 minuets! Again I told her she mistaken and playing nice I said I’ll even just take a percentage back. Of course she tried to get away with what she could. Two security guards then escort me away from the line and tried to get rid of me. I wasn’t going to let them take advantage of me like that, so I warned them I would call the police if they didn’t give me back what was $40 To walk into an awkward living room and walk back out. After about 20 minutes when the cop began to arrive they tried to shut me up by offering me half back But in the end I got all of my money back. Don’t waste your time! They’re money hungry pushy people just bad vibes all around, just want to warn Everyone, if your looking for a good time eden isn’t the place.
Erin Whitt
Erin Whitt: Door staff was extremely rude and unwilling to provide a description of the environment inside. Paid $20 for rooftop access after getting "free" entry via an eventbrite offer. Bar staff on the first floor took the liberty of adding on a generous tip.

Abigail: what do users think?
DJ TankBeats
DJ TankBeats: The bar is nice looking and really modern, but there is one staff member who believes he is GOD and kicked me out of the DJ booth after 3-4 hrs of rocking the joint then tell me to see him outside and had My Wife, Friends and other staff members get my DJ equipment out of the club! Oh and he works at the door at St. Yves!
Serguel Akiti
Serguel Akiti: DON’T GO To THE ABIGAIL! As Howard Students we decided to patronize a local black venue. We arrived in a group of 12, 5 gentlemen and 7 ladies. Security let the first 2 ladies in for free. From there, the night went down hill. Although we arrived while the venue was still empty, the older gentleman at security decided after the 2 ladies, “everybody is paying $20.” When we asked if we could use a card or if they had an atm, we were directed to the bank across the street. One member of the group pointed out how the policy makes no sense, if we have to pay, there should be a way to pay on site. We were told at that point, “you don’t have to come in then.” The policy felt sketchy and very discretionary. Please patronize black venues, however save your money, time, and energy. DON’T GO TO THE ABIGAIL!
Ryan R
Ryan R: Abigails was decent. First time going there this past weekend and unless you have a table reserved its nothing more than a straight walk from the entrance to the bar. The space to socialize is the path along the bar and straight towards the back to the restrooms. To the right after entering is more spacious but reserved for VIPs and blocked off by ropes. Still a decent spot to hit up for a night out
Miguel Castro
Miguel Castro: Buyer beware. Tickets bought through Eventbrite is a scam. Cover charge is overpriced. Venue is a joke.
Emmet Devlin
Emmet Devlin: Came for a holiday party costing $50 a head, venue cut off the open bar half way through in an announcement then service proceeded to be terrible. Wouldn’t suggest booking this place in the future

Joseph Fields
Joseph Fields: Just held an event at Capitale on November 20th, 2015. It was a Karaoke event and Capitale was awesome. They VERY accommodating with everything we needed. Everything was great from the service, the security, the bar and more. This is an extremely safe venue and I hope to work with them for all future events!
Shellie-Ann Francis
Shellie-Ann Francis: This is the worst club ever in the whole entire DMV area. they had everyone stand outside for more than 50 minutes. Also the employees was very rude unprofessional and disrespectful. Me and more than 15 of my friends came to support capitale and won so call two tables but never even went in and knew it was a scam don’t go to this club I should have went by the comments instead of ignore it
