Jocelyn: My son has been going to The Lab for 3 years (started when he was 5) and he absolutely loves it. The staff are personally invested in the wellbeing of the kids and passionate about teaching. My son was struggling before a tournament and Tazk took the time to FaceTime even though he was juggling so many other things. My son has grown so much emotionally and physically. I highly recommend their camps and classes.
Renata Ko: My 7-year old son has been breakin at The Lab for a few months. The instructors are excellent, patient with kids, and really good at teaching technical moves in a clear, relaxed and fun way. The school even posts tutorials that students can access from home to practice. We travel each weekend from Capitol Hill and it is so worth the trip!
Elisa Om: I enrolled my 5 year old son at The Lab to learn how to dance. The instructors are amazingly patient and I was in awe at how they were able to get my very timid son out of his shell. He has been having a blast and is always asking if its time to dance. Best dance school in the area.

I would highly recommend DivaDance to anyone who wants to hold a party, event, or even just to go for a fun cardio workout! The package that we purchased came with champagne and fun decorations as well as the instructor emailing us our very own music video which is a pretty fun memory to have for a bachelorette party! The choreography is tailored to whatever level of skill your group has, ours was definitely beginner! LOL. Highly recommend!

dipika: Dance Place is one of my favorite establishments in DC, period. Their site schedule is diverse and offers something for everyone and they really focus on local talent which is special. The classes are also great, quite varied, and the space is good for beginning and intermediate class.

Highlights include annual Dance Africa, DC festival as well as its complete season of regional, national and international artists. Sam sr Shin: I started taking private lessons from Amina and her assistant teacher David a couple of months ago. They really take the time and patience to show me how to perfect each of the moves they teach me. I have already improved greatly and have gotten compliments on my dancing from club events I have attended. I definitely recommend District Groove for anyone wanting to or learning to dance!
J Gor: We hired Amina to choreograph our first dance for our wedding and she was so fun to work with! She turned our crazy ideas into a great dance that we both love. Our idea was to start with a slow/romantic Taylor Swift song and then switch to a bhangra/hip hop song, so not an easy feat to make that work. Amina is personable, works with your strengths (and weaknesses), and helped us to come out of ours shells. We are looking forward to showing off at our wedding what we learned from Amina!
GWASH UNIVERSE: My experience exceeded my expectations. Amina was well prepared and made the dancing and learning experience fun. Her, along with her assistant David were great teachers. I’m excited to learn more steps in the future.

Tracy Oliver-Gary: My daughter has been taking dance lessons at PDMI for a few years. Not only does she love it, but she also has become much more disciplined in other aspects of her life. The staff is friendly and professional. My daughter also loves the dance camps for spring and summer breaks. The summer camps include weekly field trips and dance performances by the students.

Katie Shea Britton: Discovering District Dance Arts has been a highlight of our year! My two oldest wanted to try tap/ballet and the option to take the first class free allowed us to realize only one of them was truly interested. Sharon Lawless Woda: Our daughter, who dances around the house all day, asked to quit dance. We knew she was not in the right studio. We switched to Perfect Pointe when she was 6. She really enjoys it- it has been FUN but also structured and challenging. She also does the competition companies and enjoys them very much. And I enjoy hanging out with the other parents, too.
Melissa Baker: We love this studio! The teachers are great, & are interested in fostering the best dancers their students can be, & the best people they can be. We also appreciate how quickly they were able to pivot to an online platform during COVID to provide consistency for my children, and to enable them to continue their dance journey.

The teachers are great, and very encouraging. All the teachers are very experienced and really nice. They teach us technique but also make it very fun to learn. I love this place. If you have a child who wans to take dance. I strongly recommend Perfect Pointe Dance Studios. They will have a great time and learn dance at the same time.

Sarah Close: We came in for a dance lesson three weeks before our wedding without any clue and wanting a few tips for our first dance. Victor very quickly helped us pick out a dance and tailored his instruction to the ways that we both learn best (impressive, considering he had just met us!). Victor taught us in a very humorous and compassionate manner that made the entire experience fun. He also provided a number of helpful tips and reminders for our wedding day, beyond just the first dance, that really helped us stay calm and focused. We would highly recommend ALL2DANCE to anyone, whether or not they have a wedding to prepare for- it was a great experience!
Michael Koppes: Victor was a terrific instructor. He told us he would get us there and he did. My wife and I found our weekly dance classes a great stress relief while planning our wedding!

Andrea Collazo: Amazing dance studio!!! My daughter loves dancing there and is so excited to go every single time. She started when she was 4 and each year she adds a class. She has loved every class and teacher. They are highly talented and engaging. The recitals are amazing and the girls are so proud to be in it. The camp is great too, my daughter begs to go to every session available. As a bonus she has made great friends too.
Shelly Bagdasian: Our daughter started at C Unit in third grade and continued through her senior year in high school. I cannot put into one review how wonderful the experience was. After one hip hop class my daughter was begging to take more classes and eventually ended up on the team. The teachers were all amazing, the dances were creative and fun and the incredible recital at the end of each year cannot be found anywhere in this area. We watched our daughter become a beautiful dancer. The best part was not just the art of dance she was learning, but the community of dancers and teachers that became like family. C Unit was a huge positive influence in her life, instilling confidence, discipline, and the knowledge that hard work pays off. All qualities that she will take with her for life. We highly recommend C Unit whether your kids are looking for a fun hip hop class or a life long team to belong to and grow up with!!

Pamela Greiss: I have been going to this studio since they have opened. There’s always events going on and such a positive energy. Even after COVID the cleanliness and CDC guidelines are taken so seriously which I can appreciate. They look after their members and it’s truly one big family. Would highly recommend, whether you want to get fit or excel in dance. Truly a diverse community!

Mohamad Husseini: I gotta tell you, I’ve been to more than a few classes and was never really challenged. Until I met instructor mike and the Cerdafied team. Not only are they a dance studio of all dance genres, they host a high intensity core fitness class (CERDAFIT is what I call it!). Nothing but good vibes, music, and most of all, the workouts! From core to legs to intense cardio, this class is all of it.
