The Dance Institute of Washington: what do users think?

Cheri Mallory: We have had a wonderful experience with DIW's Autism Acceptance Events.

Angela Ingram: Excellent Dance Training and excellent community for dances to train. DIW cares deeply for their students, faculty and staff.

Daisy Fischer: Positive: ProfessionalismMy Grandson participated in the virtual Theater Workshop on October 3rd, 2020, and he had so much fun. The ladies of Teatro La Bolsa did an excellent job of keeping the students engaged while they provided education in language, culture, dance and geography. Thank you.

Cassie Quick: I don't recommend this school as they are really unorganized. It takes weeks to follow up with parents about questions or concerns. It's pretty ridiculous. I recommend they hire additional help.
Response: Hello, Ms Quick. We are sorry to learn about your experience. As a non for profit organization our number one priority is to have the best positive impact in our youth. Of course we can’t do this without the support of parents and guardians and we apologize for the inconvenience. We would like to share that during the summer of 2019 DIW experienced multiple staff transitions and also began exciting renovation in which we are adding a new studio and student lab to our state of the art building. Although no excuse, please consider these major occurrences as a reason to why our line of communication failed you. Again, we apologize and hope you reconsider our school in the future as we have major exciting changes and upgrades in process. All best!

Zahra Carpenter: Very good quality of dance classes. Although the founder passed away, it is in the staff and teachers heart to carrying on his legacy. Cannot wait what is next for DIW!

Star Clark: I take lessons here sometimes. It's wonderful and cheap. Say hello to Lettie and Mara. Great instructors!

Noelle Hoerrner: I love to dance and the young dancers out there in Washington D.C. I think they have an opetunity here!

claudia Moreno: If it was possible to give less than one star i would. this place is beyond unprofessional and you will get tossed around from person to person trying to get basic information. horrible. horrible. absolutely horrible. customer service is absurd.

Cheryle Crawford: Great teacher for younger " bun heads", continues to use ZOOM classes effectively.

Peter Perkins: Interested in developing skills I'll highly recommend attending The Dance Institute of Washington also I much say many opportunities are available.

Studio One Dance: what do users think?

Pia Bacolod: Positive: CommunicationMy little girl just started a week long summer camp here and had the best first day ever! She raved on and on about how much fun she had. They've got a great Director there that was very responsive to my questions as well. I love the organic fruit they offer the kids afire snacks. Nice, clean, well ran studio for the little ones.
Response: Thank you for the lovely review, Pia! We are so glad that your dancer is enjoying camp!

Austin Graff: Our three-year-old daughter LOVES Studio One Dance. For $80 a month, we attend weekly dance classes on Saturdays from 10:15-11am (the perfect amount of time to learn dance and hold a toddler's attention span). It's a small studio space on the Hill near some great places like Little Pearl and Emilie's. The front room has cubbies for your stuff and the backroom is the large dance studio with a restroom in the way back. The instructors are kind and great teachers. Our class starts with introductions, reading a book, and then doing some ballet routines in a way that's engaging to toddlers. Our toddler is engaged the entire time and looks forward to going back the next week.
Response: Hi Austin! Thank you for your kind review. We are so happy that you are enjoying classes at Studio One!

CityDance - Friendship Heights | Washington, DC: what do users think?

Bronwyn Clark: I enrolled my two daughters in a week long summer camp, and was delighted to see the performance at the end of the week! Students learned a choreographed piece in ballet, jazz, hip hop, African, and modern dance, and students of different skill levels were all able to demonstrate very impressive skills and confidence after only five days. Each day my daughters were excited to share what they'd learned, and looked forward to the next day. It was a creative, expressive, safe place to learn. Ivy and Sabrina were excellent instructors and accommodating of student's unique needs. We will certainly return for additional classes/camps.

Kathleen S.: My first-grade daughter has enjoyed her beginning ballet classes at Citydance POP. The instructors are wonderful at connecting with the young dancers. I’ve also attended an adult workshop, which was a great as well.

Doug Hartley: The organizers do an outstanding job of teaching dance to all children in the DC area

Rebecca Unruh: Fantastic dance studio with amazing teachers. My daughter loves it!

Ballet Tap and All That Jazz: what do users think?

Benjamin Zeitler: My three year old has a blast going and dancing. The studio is upstairs in the second floor. They are very interactive and, at least for the 2-3yr old class, BTATJ is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Nicole Turner: I had the opportunity to visit the facility yesterday and the customer service that I experienced was impeccable. I was able to sign my daughter up for ballet, tap and modern after she was allowed to sit in on a class to see what her experience would be like. She's so excited about starting classes this weekend and I am confident that she will enjoy her experience.

Judith Oneal: I consider myself as a “junior senior citizen “ taking tap dance classes at this venue of Ballet Tap and All That Jazz. The staff is awesome and the owner, Ms. Renee is just wonderful . Check them out and get your dance lON!!!!! Very reasonable prices ! I also take Belly Dance classes too!! I am getting it in so come on and do this for yourself and MOVE baby! You will love ❤️yourself for doing this for YOUR SELF 😉❤️

Kendya Reyes: I take the Ballet Barre/Ballet adult class's on tuesdays and I absolutely love it. Not only are the classes affordable but they are instructed by a very passionate ballet instructer. She's amazing. The class size is small but that allows for individlized attention. Don't be fooled by the rough exterior of the studio. Its home to a great adult ballet and modern dance instructor. It's also within walking distance of you live in the surrounding riverdale and hyattsville area. I'm a collegian figure skater. The ballet classes I've taken here have helped me with balance and grace on the ice. I am looking forward to my next class. Discounts are available on Groupon for five or ten adult classes. To learn more check out their website. They offer hip hip, modern dance, ballet barre, and more! The studio is also kid friendly. They host beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet/jazz/tap classes for children and youth on Friday, Saturday and Monday.

DaFran M. Ware: Went to line dancing class here just before New Year's Eve with a group of my cousins. We had such a fun time learning several line dances. It was also a good workout and I don't like working out so that's saying something 😉. I'd go back again.

Sam Greenberg: Horrible. Tried to use a gift card we received as a present, but found it required a $20 "registration fee". Then they called it a "creative movement" when they stuck me and my kid in a closet and played YouTube music. Really sloppy.

Sarah Jackson: Signed up for a class through KidPass for my daughter. We showed up up 10 minutes early and the studio was closed. I called and waited, no show!

Marvin Burton Jr: Wonderful summer STEAM program for children of all ages. Owner is very passionate about the arts.

KMC !: Ballet is awesome the people there are nice all the bad thing are fake because I know the people and they or not like that it is awesome and you people should join.

alma parada: Ballet boring ugly
