799 9th Street, NW - Lot #11: what do users think?

Melinda Semadeni: A tight parking garage is expected in a city. Not expected… not allowing you to use existing building elevators but instead making you walk down the same ramp cars zoom up and down for 3 levels. Attendant was unhelpful.

Derek Olechiw: Did not appreciate pile of broken glass in the middle of the ramp ignored by the attendant. Expected better for 25 dollars a spot.

T M: Plenty of parking spaces for mid afternoon . On a weekend I paid $10

Plan to park farther away in the Mall instead, or park elsewhere, take the metro and then walk from one of the stations nearby. The roads into East Potomac Park are blocked off by police vehicles.

Clifton Fincham: Took entirely too long to park in the Tidal Basin parking lot.

Loc-440-CityCenterDC: what do users think?

Courtney Davis: I have been parking here for years, No problems whatsoever. But today, 9:50am, It was packed, they were sending people to P4. I have nevered parked in P4 before...Didnt know I was suppose to go all the way down. Saw an attendant in P3, an indian man with grey hair. Pulled in, roll my window down to ask questions. Just to be screamed at about not parking there like I ran over his foot or something. Once I screamed back and stated I was not familiar with this level...i dont know where to go he calmed down but still...if I screamed at a customer like that Id be fired. Its called customer service, clearly citycenter does not teach that.

Randon Ryland: Make sure you use your EVgo app to get through the gate, you don’t have to pay, you hey 2 hours free remember :)

Andy Zavala: Great, CLEAN parking garage in the middle of DC! This garage is open 24/7 and is super reliable, lit, and most importantly CLEAN! One of the elevators leads right to the middle of city center which is so pretty. The elevators are also full-glass walls. Would recommend to park here if you are staying at a nearby hotel (such as the Renaissance).

Drachen Fire: Easy to access, well lit, and clean. Had no issues whatsoever. Ended up reserving a spot using Parking Panda, pulled right up to the gate, scanned the confirmation QR code, and the gate opened right up. The garage even had numbers next to all the aisles saying how many open spot there was left in the row. The glass elevator that lead to the outside was pretty neat too

Jessica O: EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED with their customer service!! I applied for monthly parking and asked that it start the same day but they still made me pay $19 for the few hours I was in that day, even though I had already started paying for monthly parking that same day! The manager that was on duty clearly does not understand customer service and that making customers happy is important.

Isabelle Ku: Reserved a spot through SpotHero. Very modern garage with lots of spaces, lights above the spaces, and electrical charging stations (Teslas have their own section). The public parking section is on P2, with resident parking on lower levels. It was very well lit for a garage, also easy to spot from the road and cheaper than other places in the area. Only bad thing was it was a bit difficult to find the way to the exit. Would probably park here again.

Jane H. Lee: Signs at the main entrance on 14th street say they’re open on weekends. They’re not. When we parked on Friday night, we asked the attendant if we can park overnight, he said yes - no mention that they would be closed over the weekend. We show up on Saturday and all gates are locked. Took us more than 1.5hrs to reach the managers to open the garage. The manager said they changed the hours due to covid. If your hours changed, would make sense to change your signs.

K MR (Poohbear87): No signs or person indicating garage closed at 8. called after hours emergency number at 830 and no one came to help. Never parking here again and neither should anyone else.

Seung “Steve” Lee: Good place for your wedding ceremony.

Plan to park farther away in the Mall instead, or park elsewhere, take the metro and then walk from one of the stations nearby. The roads into East Potomac Park are blocked off by police vehicles.

James Walker: Due to the large crowds in the area for The National Cherry Blossom Festival, free parking along Hains Point was a bonus. I was able to explore the area, views over to National Airport and Arlington, Va in the distance. Captured two feathery friends hanging out. Good location to see sunset, with planes, trains, and automobiles passing by.

Naquiyahh Best: Nice guy could not find my card he let me park and bring it back to him no problem swipe and off to the show

Nita Price: Although, they are in the process of renovating the building, this garage is still open. Make sure you get in early. It fills up kind of quick because it is one of the cheapest parking garages in this area. They will park your car, if you ask them, or you can park your own car. All in all, it is a very nice garage. Only drawback is there is no elevator you can use. You have to walk up, which is not bad. The garage is well lit. You can take the stairs to go up, if you would like. The staff is nice. Like I said, they will park your car, all you have to do is ask.

Jun Wu: - Parked at this place yesterday via valet. Upon receiving the car at the end of the day, noticed that a roll of quarters left in the car was missing (it was visible), and some loose quarters. Someone also went through other compartments in the car. I left tip before I noticed these. Will never park there again.

Wahab Waziry: Please BE AWARE that this place STEALS stuff from your vehicle. They went through my vehicle and stole my favorite cologne worth of $150. Advice: AVOID THIS PLACE.

Dave Pilachowski: They charged me $52 for overnight parking. They have no validation discounts. And when I tried to pay the ticket the machine wouldn’t take any cards. There are other garages that cost much less, don’t park here.

Wharf Parking Garage 1 - Blair Alley Entrance: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: Great place and a very convenient parking garage when going to The Wharf. Parking fees and parking time at garage entrance #1, range from time 0-24 Hours All Day. Parking prices start at ($2 for seafood orders if you get your parking pass stamped) and the other parking fees are based on the amount of time your vehicle stayed in the parking garage. Garage parking fees starts at $5, $10, $25, $35, and up to $45 max. The height restrictions for vehicles are 7’-8” tall.

C. Young: Took me 20 minutes to find parking. Light indicators don’t work properly. Paid $27 for about 2.5 hours. Conveniently located.

mastercoolisnumber1: We entered, and the machine never gave us a ticket. Whenever we asked, they said the parking was free. We stayed for an hour, and was supposed to pay $5. We told them the machine never gave us a ticket, but they insisted we pay the “lost ticket” fee of $38, even though the machine never gave us a ticket. The guy named Addis and his coworker would not let us out until we pay $38, even though we told them to check the cameras, and they never checked them. The machine was broken, but they put the blame on us. Horrible customer service. We asked Addis if we could talk to his manager, but he refused to show us where his manager was. They wanted us to pay $38 because their machine that they’re supposed to fix was broken.

Hacking Gamer: Zero stars. Too expensive and the employees were rude. Their machine never gave me a ticket and I asked them why. They said it was free. I came back to exit but the gate never opened. I explained the situation to them. They said I was lying and told me it’s a lost ticket. Their terrible policy says that if you lose a ticket you pay the maximum rate aka 38 dollars. I said it is their fault but they again accused me of lying again. There were cameras but they never used them. I asked for their boss but they refused. I ended up paying and put this review to limit their costumers. Will never visit again.

Winfred Mitchell: Very large parking area. $20.00 for the first two hours is outrageous!

Mike A: 2017: Well, the entrance was clearly marked 😀, there were green lights overhead of vacant spots 😀, it was well lit, well ventilated and clean 😀. The best part was the attendant at the self-pay station. He was guiding the patrons on the use of the pay machine - smiling all the way. He asked me for my ticket, put it into his machine, gave it back to me and said "your $10 charge is now $2". WOW! 😀😀😀. Thanks.

Elmond Taylor: Safe and clean. Close. Far too expensive though.

Shannon McDonnell: This is the worst parking garage I’ve ever parked in. The stackable part doesn’t really bother me, but what did bother me what the fact the every spot that isn’t stackable is for a monthly pass holder. Had to go to the bottom of the garage to find anywhere to park! On top of that, the “two way” lane to get in an out is laughable, even for DC. One of the turns at the bottom level (4C) doesn’t even have a mirror to see if anyone is coming. Lastly, I parked for 26 minutes and the charge was 15 dollars. Absolutely out of this world. Only redeemable part of this place was that the attendants were friendly.

Leena T Silberer: Terrible parking garage. I have been to some bad ones but this one takes the cake. If you need to go to this building my advice would be to park somewhere else. The service is rude and the garage itself is not big enough to allow two cars to pass, making it impossible to actually leave. Last time the machine was faulty and would not take any credit cards. As I did not have cash he refused to let me leave.... same thing happened to someone else in front of me and the 15 (!!) minute delay caused my parking fee to go up from $15 to $22. Of course, there was no way I was going to get a refund for the $7 I paid due to their faulty system. Avoid!!

Arnicia Jackson: Easy parking for handicapped. Access to elevator and lift also.

Myra Woods: Parking is a little tricky, but the valet service made it easy to pick up a patient.

Terrence Banks: No space

Lorena Rojas: Easy to park, the valet drivers are quick to get your car.

Maggy Nakimuli: Was there for an appointment, parking is expensive if you plan on being there take the bus ,uber or walk to venue.

Teresa Young: They were very very nice. Kinda small but they made it work

Irene Martinez: Excellent allergist at this address.

Jabari Brooks: They have a sign that says Saturday parking will be a flat fee and the attendant even notified me that i would be able to get my car after operation hours. However, when I parked there on Friday I was not able to get my car until the next day in WHICH they charged $50.

Melody M: Don’t park here on Friday after 6pm! They close at 7 and keep your car in until Monday. Other places warn you an hour ahead that they’ll be closing but this place just wants to get you to pay extra to retrieve your car.

Tyairha T: I always get good park at a reasonable rate. The grounds stay clean and has good lighting. The attendants are always nice and respectful especially Abute. He goes above and beyond with his customer service. He told me about the monthly parking so I could save money since I park here everyday. I have been to many parking garages in the city but this is by far the best. Thanks Abute for the suggestion!!!

Adam Johnson: Say they have Saturday parking but are actually closed and make you pay a $50 fee to get your car. Basically a scam

Parking Convention Center DC: what do users think?

Duy Nguyen: One star for the convenient location. Horrible service and management. Why keep double selling parking spots when there’s no room? Parking attendant: “it’s your problem not mine.” Paid $60 for a parking spot for 2 nights. On the second day (we still have a spot paid for till end of night), we left for two hours for errands in the morning, came back and the attendant blocked us at entrance. When asked why did we lost our parking, he said it was our problem that we left and it did not matter that we paid for the parking. When asked for manager or company contact info, the man refused and kept telling us there was no spot and that we could not force him to do anything. How can one screw up such simple math/logic problem?

Angie Patterson: The price was right $20- It is a tight lot. Enter from K Street, North side. The exit to New York Ave. is closed now.

Sarina H: Be careful parking here at night. It’s not guarded or well lit, and my car was broken into.

Dawn Canavan: Decent parking lot, short distance from arena, shopping and eateries. Lot is poorly paved and parking spaces are very close together. $25 for the day, gates lock at midnight on the weekend. Was easy to get to New York Avenue to exit the city.

Austin Gipson-Black: Do not park here. The attendants lie about the price and overcharge so they can pocket the extra. I know the lot charges different prices for different days and times, but I was charged two different amounts at the same time on two different week days. I initially parked there because it had a high fence and would be locked at night, but the attendant said don’t leave anything in your car. There are plenty of cheaper places to park, don’t do business with this place.

Mike Meachem: This was a great experience 4 blocks from the venue. I loved the fact that I did the online reservation and handled everything from the QR code. Th e price and the ease was a plus. I will be doing more weekend events at the DC Convention Center.

Kourtney DeBoer: Nice staff on site, easy to find, easy to park, affordable.

Emmanuel Coleman: Spaces are too cramped, lanes are too narrow. Saw a few freshly dinged cars.

Rama Krishna K: very good except no parking

mustangjimi: Nice place for our Expedition EL, larger parking spaces for overnight parking. Reasonably priced too. Google shows 610 12th street but the picture helped. 1201 F Street parking is on the wall inside.

Charles M: Clean, convenient, and easy parking. $21 for the day and $12 on Saturday is a real bargain in the city. Convenient to the national mall and walkable to Chinatown and many other attractions, not to mention all the meeting places and businesses nearby. Metro station across the street. Closed after 11, closed Sunday, and they don’t allow in and out. All things considered, one of the better parking options around.

Aaron Rodriguez: 12 dlls seems a very reasonable price for evening parking. Used it when going to Warner Theater. pre-reserved using ParkWhiz. Upon arrival I showed the phone code, 30 seconds and I was in. Elevators are only for monthly members so you have to walk up to the ground level, and there is no real walkway so be careful.

Amir Haroun: I have expperienced nothing but wonderfull service from this Garage. a yearly tag for a specific location...hmmm why would someone stole that if it is for a specific location. but I use the garage most of the time and they seem OK.

Katie Geier Noreiga: Do not park here - the valets are thieves. They stole a yearly DC visitor parking pass from our car.

Andrew Jefferies: Friendly and experienced staff, very affordable hourly rates and daily rates.

love lace: There garages are not safe my car got stolen, no help from company

H Street Parking: what do users think?

Patrick Forbes: One of the worst parking experiences I have ever encountered, having lived in DC for five years. Was screamed at on several occasions to move my car from the lot because the owner wanted to use the space for something else, such as the H St festival a few weeks back, despite having paid for the entire month to park with no warning of black out dates, as well as not receiving compensation for not being able to use the spot I paid for. Owner terminated our parking contract with him and did not reach out to us, despite having our phone number, and refunded us for the month we had already paid for. Three days after he had apparently done this, with zero warning to us as we do not use the car a lot and received no phone call, he had a $250 ticket issued to us for "parking without consent", despite having paid for the next month and not notifiying us of the change. The following day, my girlfriend received the first phone call about this from him and he immediately began screaming at her that he was going to tow our car, despite us not knowing anything about the situation yet. Still working on getting the ticket thrown out but it fits perfectly within the "unlawful ticket" description, so I may be able to avoid needing to pay it. I regret parking here at all, and I hope no one else ever does.

Sarah Roche: Aggressively threatening signs about towing your car if you don’t pay but then they don’t give you a way to pay.. no attendant or machine. If you try to use an app you’ll pay $20 for an hour? This is all the way goofy.

P Pate: No closing hours posted. In a restaurant district, closed up tight before 10pm. Ridiculous.

Maria Gomez: The parking garage is very small, very expensive (we paid 35.00 for 4 hours (max is 45). The parking lot is very congested, the design of the garage is like a labyrinth. We spent about 15 minutes looking for parking. There is limited parking in this area so there are not many options making this one of the few choices.

Will Haywood Smith: $45 overnight is actually $70 to stay overnight because their prices “reset at 4am”. Absolute robbery.

Daniel Cosper: One of the largest parking garages I have used in downtown Washington DC. Well lit and meticulously maintained. Easy to navigate and plenty of room for large vehicles. All of the attendants are friendly and have always been very helpful.

Paul Davis: Last minute used this garage after unable to fit my car into a different garage across the street where I had a reservation. Plenty of room, easy in and out, clean. Able to park my Dodge Charger with no issue, an attendant on duty helped point out available spaces (super helpful).

Dan Evens: All doors were locked on a Saturday afternoon, had to walk through car ramps to get our car back. Dumb.

Donald Watts: Thus and other parking near the mall and sites are perfect. Ease to enter and exit, close to city and fair pricing.

Dan MacGregor: Impossible to find way around or get back to your car after hours

Michele Walsh, ASL Interpreter: Open on a Saturday in D.C. is a big deal especially with all the events going on, it sure was a relief.

Local Resident: Excellent place to park. $15 first hour but only $22 for all day. Very clean and friendly staff. Signage blends in with building but still not hard to find. Thanks

SP+ Parking: what do users think?

Brian Tate: PSA FOR HOLIDAY TRAVELERS! We came for holiday weekend, and we were not warned about limited hours for retrieving our car — even after specifically asking an attendant when dropping the car off. We walked into the facility to get our car on the morning of out departure, found no staff on site, and the doors locked behind us, trapping us in the garage!!! We called the after hours number for emergency help, and got a voice mail message saying they would get back to us next business day. Eventually someone came along, but no one ever responded to our call.

Chloe Zimmerman: Clean, intuitive garage just a few blocks from the White House. We parked here ahead of our West Wing tour on a Sunday (when many garages in DC are closed) and paid $11 for the day. The guy who assisted us was very friendly and cheerful and helped us find a spot very near the elevators, which dropped us off in the Washington Square mall, just around the corner from Farragut North Metro. Convenient, reasonable price, not at all dark or sketchy. Very happy.

Tony Tubiolo: Good weekend parking garage - about the only one in the area that is open on Sunday! We drove our small car, but could have easily fit our minivan into the large parking spaces it has. It was only $11 for all day parking on Sunday. The garage is open until midnight. It was self-park, and I did not have to give my keys to a parking attendant, so I knew it could not be moved or damaged by a parking attendant. Perfect experience.

Brittany Penn: Lied to about price. Boyfriend and I came here for a over night trip. Got there around 1030 AM on a Saturday and we stayed at CQ Hotel (who has a special price with the parking garage). So I told the man that and he tells my boyfriend he’d charge us 11$ for the day and then 11$ Sunday if we left at 7AM. that worked perfectly since we planned to leave that early. We just went to leave and the same man told my boyfriend he’d have to pay the FULL 31$ to leave because his boss wouldn’t let him do the deal he promised us. So we paid a grand total of 42$ for parking there for not even 24 hours.

Christine V.: Cheap and efficient. I love the text to pick up service.

Tucker Patterson: Not a good parking garage and very tight spaces.

Andrew Holub: The employees are slow, rude and disrespectful.

National Place Parking: what do users think?

L. B.: Parking garage is clean and nice. Easy to book through spot hero. But Warning! You come up through the elevator to the lobby of the One Freedom Plaza building. Beware, they won’t let you back in! We got back and there was no one at the front desk, we tried calling on the wall and they said they’d get ahold of the desk but still no one came. We waited for 15 minutes before we walked around the block to the vehicle entrance, and had to walk down the ramp (dangerous with small kids!) and get into the elevator next to the parking kiosks to go to our parking level.

Jason Brynarsky: Their parking garage is awful. It’s narrow and can barely handle two lanes of traffic. And you can’t always take the elevator you used to leave the garage to get back to your car because the ground floor lobby doors lock after a certain time. Nothing against the staff. They are making the best of a bad situation.

Nicole Edworthy: Terrible. Self-parking, turns that SUVs seem scared to use, back-ups and pay machines on P1 (and at the exit, i.e. 20-30 min after you get to your car!) and $32+ for any time over 4hr. There are lots of options, best to find somewhere else or take the metro.

Eric Hillman: Great.clean parking decent weekend price.

Mike Sutton: I have parked at this location for years. Today, I discovered -- after parking on the "green" level that I could use the stairs to exit to the street. However, when you return to your vehicle you CANNOT use the stairs. You are directed to walk down the entry/exit ramps! What moron thought this was a good idea, especially for people with disabilities? I wonder how long that policy will/would last if a customer was struck by an vehicle entering/leaving. Today was the last time Quikpark, Inc. will see any of my business!

Epper Marshall: Very narrow garage. There is no direct connect up to the national theatre and no good way to get in to your car late at night. Also getting out took quite a while, not a very efficient system.

Murilo Ribeiro: Good location. Decent price on weekends.

Mary Auld: This is the worst garage ever—25 mi items to enter and 45 to exit. Terrible never go there
