799 9th Street, NW - Lot #11: what do users think?

Melinda Semadeni: A tight parking garage is expected in a city. Not expected… not allowing you to use existing building elevators but instead making you walk down the same ramp cars zoom up and down for 3 levels. Attendant was unhelpful.

Derek Olechiw: Did not appreciate pile of broken glass in the middle of the ramp ignored by the attendant. Expected better for 25 dollars a spot.

Chris Harmon: Wasn't clear about overnight parking ... was $25 for Saturday to Sunday but that was OK just not clear. What really was frustrating though (and the reason to reduce to 3 stars) was the poor customer service Sunday morning when I was trying to get my vehicle. The staff day before said they opened at 11am; I arrived early and waited but it didn't open so I used the button and the staff was rude and said I "must wait more minutes". 10 minutes later with still no door open, I asked again and he replied the same. Very rude - and wouldn't say anything else. The door didn't open for us either - somehow someone else got in and drove out so we just walked in and got in the vehicle and drove out...I never even did see anyone to complain to. I would hope management would speak to this individual about learning better customer service skills.

T M: Plenty of parking spaces for mid afternoon . On a weekend I paid $10

SP+ Parking: what do users think?

Jeff Pugh: We had a really bad experience here several months ago. We parked here to take our baby to the doctor, and when we returned, there was a car blocking us in. The garage staff had failed to get the key from the car's owner before letting them block us in, and had no way to contact them, potentially for several hours. The staff told us they would not charge us, but could not find a way to solve the problem, while my baby and wife were sitting there in the garage breathing in parking fumes. When a neighboring car moved, we were finally able to wiggle our car out diagonally to leave. At the entrance, the staff had the gall to ask us for the parking fee that they had earlier promised to waive because of their mistake. We will not be back to this place again!
Response: Hi Jeff, That sounds like a really frustrating experience. We're sorry to hear about this. We'd like to get you in touch with the local management team in order to make this right. Would you mind emailing us at socialmedia@spplus.com with your contact information so we can put you in touch? Thank you, SP+

Denise Jordan: If I could give it less than 1 star I would. I left my car for less than 11 minutes and was charged $12.00. After getting my ticket I had to wait for attendant to take possession of my car. Ridiculous!!!!!
Response: Thank you for your review, Denise. We are very sorry for your negative experience. Can you reach out to us at RMMatlantic@spplus.com so we can look into this for you? Thank you, Parking.com

Chengxiang Yuan: This parking lot is closed along with all of the Tidal Basin parking spots as of March 27 due to COVID concerns during cherry blossom season. Plan to park farther away in the Mall instead, or park elsewhere, take the metro and then walk from one of the stations nearby. The roads into East Potomac Park are blocked off by police vehicles.

Aashish Palla: 05/29/2021!!! Surreal Experience and "Yes"! ShowTime!!

Clifton Fincham: Took entirely too long to park in the Tidal Basin parking lot.

Thomas Dubyak: BE WARNED! If you subscribe and pay $225/mo to park here, do not take a ticket if one is printed when you scan your access card. I innocently took one when it was printed because the attendant was absent from the booth and I figured it would just be nullified when I tried to leave the next morning. I was wrong. The extremely rude attendant smugly told me that as soon as you take a ticket you're liable to pay the fee, even if you already pay for monthly parking. Absolutely criminal behavior.

Ron Epstein: There seems to be a mix of reviews for this extremely large garage complex that seems to span several blocks. However, even before I arrived at the garage my experience was already on its way to being very positive. With an upcoming hotel reservation at the Washington Grand Hyatt hotel, I was concerned about the instructions that SpotHero (who I booked the garage through) was giving me. I made email contact with Josefina Anivarro at Upark America who runs the garage. She was extremely helpful in answering some of the questions I had and making clear that SpotHero had neglected to mention the other entrance to the garage that was closer to the hotel. So, even before my arrival, I had a great experience with customer service and I was better prepared for my visit. Arriving around 9:30 on a Saturday morning I had no problem finding an excellent parking space on P2. The scanner machine properly identified my SpotHero QR code upon entering and exiting. As for the garage itself, it's extremely clean and very modern with the inclusion of electric chargers for EV vehicles. There even seems to be some sort of car wash service within the underground garage as well. In all, I had an excellent experience with both this garage and its customer service. Thank you, Josefina, for your help!

Courtney Davis: I have been parking here for years, No problems whatsoever. But today, 9:50am, It was packed, they were sending people to P4. I have nevered parked in P4 before...Didnt know I was suppose to go all the way down. Saw an attendant in P3, an indian man with grey hair. Pulled in, roll my window down to ask questions. Just to be screamed at about not parking there like I ran over his foot or something. Once I screamed back and stated I was not familiar with this level...i dont know where to go he calmed down but still...if I screamed at a customer like that Id be fired. Its called customer service, clearly citycenter does not teach that.

Randon Ryland: Make sure you use your EVgo app to get through the gate, you don’t have to pay, you hey 2 hours free remember :)

Andy Zavala: Great, CLEAN parking garage in the middle of DC! This garage is open 24/7 and is super reliable, lit, and most importantly CLEAN! One of the elevators leads right to the middle of city center which is so pretty. The elevators are also full-glass walls. Would recommend to park here if you are staying at a nearby hotel (such as the Renaissance).

Drachen Fire: Easy to access, well lit, and clean. Had no issues whatsoever. Ended up reserving a spot using Parking Panda, pulled right up to the gate, scanned the confirmation QR code, and the gate opened right up. The garage even had numbers next to all the aisles saying how many open spot there was left in the row. The glass elevator that lead to the outside was pretty neat too

Kathryn Zaremba: If I could give this place zero stars I would because they are STEALING FROM PEOPLE. I went to this parking lot because there is an Eco Car Wash inside. When I got to the gate I said I wasn't here to park but to get a car wash. I was told "Oh ok but you still have to take a ticket" - I made the assumption that the ticket would be validated somehow by the car wash. I was there for 6 MINUTES TOTAL - because after speaking to the car wash attendant I realized I wasn't going to have the time this afternoon to get the kind of car wash they offer (they are highly detailed and take 45-60 mins) so I decided to leave and come back another time. When I got the gate to exit I was told I owed $10 for having been in the parking garage for 6 MINUTES. $10 for 6 minutes of NOT PARKING. I asked to speak to a manger because it was so ridiculous and I assumed the parking attendant might not be able to over ride the register. THEN the manager also said I would have to pay the $10 for having been in the garage for 6 MINUTES. They would not let me out without paying. This is an example of horrible customer service. I will never ever ever return to that parking garage. I feel completely robbed and I couldn't be more angered by the situation. Please note: I called Eco Car Wash after paying the $10 to leave the garage to let them know what had happened. They very politely offered to give me $10 off if I decided to visit any of their locations and apologized for the parking garage's poor management. So please do not let this shed a bad light on their business which has exceptional and reasonable customer service.

Tiny Octopus: I had booked through Parkwhiz from 330pm on Saturday to 1230pm on Monday. Hotel attendant threw away my key. Had to get a new key fob programmed and made by locksmith on site. I pulled up to leave at 1245pm, and they charged me an extra $10 for the 15 minute overage. Even though the manager was aware I was getting a new key made and was at the garage at 1130 to do so. That's some stellar customer service.

Jessica O: EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED with their customer service!! I applied for monthly parking and asked that it start the same day but they still made me pay $19 for the few hours I was in that day, even though I had already started paying for monthly parking that same day! The manager that was on duty clearly does not understand customer service and that making customers happy is important.

Isabelle Ku: Reserved a spot through SpotHero. Very modern garage with lots of spaces, lights above the spaces, and electrical charging stations (Teslas have their own section). The public parking section is on P2, with resident parking on lower levels. It was very well lit for a garage, also easy to spot from the road and cheaper than other places in the area. Only bad thing was it was a bit difficult to find the way to the exit. Would probably park here again.

Jane H. Lee: Signs at the main entrance on 14th street say they’re open on weekends. They’re not. When we parked on Friday night, we asked the attendant if we can park overnight, he said yes - no mention that they would be closed over the weekend. We show up on Saturday and all gates are locked. Took us more than 1.5hrs to reach the managers to open the garage. The manager said they changed the hours due to covid. If your hours changed, would make sense to change your signs.

K MR (Poohbear87): No signs or person indicating garage closed at 8. called after hours emergency number at 830 and no one came to help. Never parking here again and neither should anyone else.

love lace: They don't check there cars in garage

Robin McGill: I did visit this place.Someone has hacked my phone or something and is using my service. They will be caught😐

James Walker: Due to the large crowds in the area for The National Cherry Blossom Festival, free parking along Hains Point was a bonus. I was able to explore the area, views over to National Airport and Arlington, Va in the distance. Captured two feathery friends hanging out. Good location to see sunset, with planes, trains, and automobiles passing by.

Naquiyahh Best: Nice guy could not find my card he let me park and bring it back to him no problem swipe and off to the show

Nita Price: Although, they are in the process of renovating the building, this garage is still open. Make sure you get in early. It fills up kind of quick because it is one of the cheapest parking garages in this area. They will park your car, if you ask them, or you can park your own car. All in all, it is a very nice garage. Only drawback is there is no elevator you can use. You have to walk up, which is not bad. The garage is well lit. You can take the stairs to go up, if you would like. The staff is nice. Like I said, they will park your car, all you have to do is ask.

Jun Wu: - Parked at this place yesterday via valet. Upon receiving the car at the end of the day, noticed that a roll of quarters left in the car was missing (it was visible), and some loose quarters. Someone also went through other compartments in the car. I left tip before I noticed these. Will never park there again.

Joseph Linzy: Really wish I could give 0 stars. We finally found a place to park for game 2 of the NLDS with the Nationals and Dodgers which ended up being $40. The game was postponed literally 5 mins after we parked and they wouldn't give us a refund or voucher to come back for when the game would be replayed. They told us if we wanted to park there for the postponed game that was being replayed the following day that we would have to pay the $40 again the next day. My wife and I were not the only ones that got burned like that. Plenty of people were looking for a refund or voucher of some kind and we got nothing. They gave us a number to call their boss and he gave us another number to call and from there we did not receive an answer. I tried to call their main building in DC, they have 2 people that handle the bulk of the calls and a receptionist. All of them have message that said they were not available to answer a call right now...even the receptionist. We called several times and still no answer or call back. I'll never park at a Laz Parking structure again and anyone I know going to DC I'll tell them to do the same.

Elaine P: I've had the best experience while patronizing this parking lot. I work in the area. 15.00 per day if you're there before 9:30 . The attendants are always pleasant and courteous. My favorite parking garage. I stop parking because I get to work early enough to find parking on the street. This week I got a 50.00 ticket, so guess who will be parking at the garage. Lol me. Try them out.....

Kathleen Chubb: If I could give this experience a negative star rating, I would. This was an absolute nightmare. First, upon entering the garage, there was no parking panda kiosk. I was confused because I know that I entered the correct garage. So I took a ticket and decided I would talk to an attendant when I was leaving. Finding how to enter the garage to find my car and leave was an absolute NIGHTMARE. The lobby that I came through before had all doors locked. I tried to enter the same building through a different entrance, and another staircase from the same building that had a door from outside, but the doors to both were also locked. Then I went through another building that also said it had access to the garage. I tried to take the elevator, which only had buttons to lead to the garage floors. All of the buttons would light up and then turn off. The elevator would not move to any other floors. So I tried to find someone to help, but absolutely no one was in the building. At this point, I had taken 20 minutes to try to find a way into the garage. Finally, I decided to enter the garage from the car entrance. This took FOREVER because no cars were allowed to park on level A (reserved 24/7) or level B (residents only). I had to walk around the entire garage to get to the next floor. I found a stair case on level B and thought finally, I can get to my car on level C. When I went in the staircase, the doors on every parking level floor were LOCKED. I couldn't get out of the staircase. The only floor that was unlocked was on the street level, so I was back at step 1. Then I had to find my way back to the car entrance and walk all the way around to level C, which took me an extra 25 minutes. At this point, I refused to even go near the stair cases or elevators, understandably. After finding my car, I had to find the parking pay station, search for an attendant, and ask how to take care of it. Luckily he took the confirmation number as payment. I told him about my struggles with the elevator and stairs in a polite tone, suppressing my frustration because I understand that things happen. I used to work in customer service, so I have an understanding of outrageous customers and do my best to be easy to take care of. He told me that I probably didn't push hard enough to open the stair doors. I am a young, blond woman, so he was most likely making assumptions about my intelligence, but I KNOW HOW TO OPEN A DOOR, AND I TRIED FOR A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME. IT WAS LOCKED. I have gone twenty three years in my life and have never had trouble opening a door. He had no explanation for the elevators. I am smart enough not to argue with such a stubborn person, so I took a deep breath, and decided I would just give them an awful review because of my horrible experience. This was an absolutely AWFUL Parking Panda experience. I have never had anything this awful happen withthis application, and have always recommended it to friends in the past. However, after this experience, I plan on NEVER using this application again, and making sure to tell my friends to steer away from it. For now on, I will always be using Uber or Lyft, where experiences like this have never happened to me. Also, considering there was a CONVENIENCE FEE, and this was the most INCONVENIENT experience of my entire life, I am completely LIVID. Lastly, this was at 4 pm on a Saturday. This was not at some crazy hour or anything. This garage should have had more attendants or people helping. And there were plenty of signs pointing to the Stairs and Elevators, but NONE OF THEM WORKED, as I explained earlier. Also, I was carrying 3 extremely heavy bags this whole time, and was sweating bullets by the time I finally found my car. I cannot stress how absolutely awful this was. Thank you for making me spend over an hour of my time and an incredible amount of stress to get to my car into a parking garage, Laz Parking Garage and Parking Panda.

Michael Jawish: The guy working there at nights works hard, he's always busy, and always smiling!

Kanwar Deep: It's a scam. People be aware. manager is a crook. He charged 50$ with a receipt of 26$, which means 24 dollars he put in his own pocket. I saw the receipt after coming back to Phily. I wish I had seen that in DC.

Wahab Waziry: Please BE AWARE that this place STEALS stuff from your vehicle. They went through my vehicle and stole my favorite cologne worth of $150. Advice: AVOID THIS PLACE.

Dave Pilachowski: They charged me $52 for overnight parking. They have no validation discounts. And when I tried to pay the ticket the machine wouldn’t take any cards. There are other garages that cost much less, don’t park here.

Wharf Parking Garage 1 - Blair Alley Entrance: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: Great place and a very convenient parking garage when going to The Wharf. Parking fees and parking time at garage entrance #1, range from time 0-24 Hours All Day. Parking prices start at ($2 for seafood orders if you get your parking pass stamped) and the other parking fees are based on the amount of time your vehicle stayed in the parking garage. Garage parking fees starts at $5, $10, $25, $35, and up to $45 max. The height restrictions for vehicles are 7’-8” tall.

C. Young: Took me 20 minutes to find parking. Light indicators don’t work properly. Paid $27 for about 2.5 hours. Conveniently located.

Hari Nair: Overpriced and very congested, but that's to be expected. There are signs all over indicating the number of free spaces in each row. These are WRONG! When we went in several rows said 21 spaces, or 17 spaces, or whatever. They were all full. It took us 20 minutes to find a spot and we were late for dinner. If you park here you run the risk of it being full, they'll take your money, and you still have to find another place to park. Just do that last thing first and park somewhere else. Two stars for excellent location and the thought of never giving them another dime.

mastercoolisnumber1: We entered, and the machine never gave us a ticket. Whenever we asked, they said the parking was free. We stayed for an hour, and was supposed to pay $5. We told them the machine never gave us a ticket, but they insisted we pay the “lost ticket” fee of $38, even though the machine never gave us a ticket. The guy named Addis and his coworker would not let us out until we pay $38, even though we told them to check the cameras, and they never checked them. The machine was broken, but they put the blame on us. Horrible customer service. We asked Addis if we could talk to his manager, but he refused to show us where his manager was. They wanted us to pay $38 because their machine that they’re supposed to fix was broken.

Hacking Gamer: Zero stars. Too expensive and the employees were rude. Their machine never gave me a ticket and I asked them why. They said it was free. I came back to exit but the gate never opened. I explained the situation to them. They said I was lying and told me it’s a lost ticket. Their terrible policy says that if you lose a ticket you pay the maximum rate aka 38 dollars. I said it is their fault but they again accused me of lying again. There were cameras but they never used them. I asked for their boss but they refused. I ended up paying and put this review to limit their costumers. Will never visit again.

Alex Ragland: DO NOT PARK HERE. Wish I could rate this zero stars. Worst parking expirence I've ever had. More than half of the spaces were """open""" but only allowed specific types of vehicles so the vast majority of people were basically fighting for a spot. Spent over 30 minutes just driving around before succumbing and using valet parking (why is there valet parking in a parking garage?!!). The lights that are supposed tell you what spaces are and aren't open absolutely do not work. The layout of aweful (almost got into an accident due to this twice) and the employees were terribly unhelpful. Not to mention that at 45 dollars for an afternoon, it was the most I've ever been forced to pay for parking in the area by more than double. Literally go to any other parking garage in the area. Again, DO. NOT. PARK. HERE.

Winfred Mitchell: Very large parking area. $20.00 for the first two hours is outrageous!

Michael Rosen: The overhead electronic signs were all wrong. When a sign said there were 20 open spots there were none. The signs tell you to keep your ticket and pay before going to your car but there aren't any pay stations anymore. I finally found an attendant who told me to pay when I exit. The last time I was here I used the ParkMobile app to pay. I was overcharged when I had to wait longer to exit due to long lines of cars. People who paid at a pay station (they had them then) paid less. The company couldn't have cared less and ignored my refund request. They don't even have instructions to use ParkMobile posted anywhere. If the pay stations have been eliminated I'll likely use that next time.

Mike A: 2017: Well, the entrance was clearly marked 😀, there were green lights overhead of vacant spots 😀, it was well lit, well ventilated and clean 😀. The best part was the attendant at the self-pay station. He was guiding the patrons on the use of the pay machine - smiling all the way. He asked me for my ticket, put it into his machine, gave it back to me and said "your $10 charge is now $2". WOW! 😀😀😀. Thanks.

Elmond Taylor: Safe and clean. Close. Far too expensive though.

2021 K Street NW Parking: what do users think?

Shannon McDonnell: This is the worst parking garage I’ve ever parked in. The stackable part doesn’t really bother me, but what did bother me what the fact the every spot that isn’t stackable is for a monthly pass holder. Had to go to the bottom of the garage to find anywhere to park! On top of that, the “two way” lane to get in an out is laughable, even for DC. One of the turns at the bottom level (4C) doesn’t even have a mirror to see if anyone is coming. Lastly, I parked for 26 minutes and the charge was 15 dollars. Absolutely out of this world. Only redeemable part of this place was that the attendants were friendly.

Y B: BEWARE: This is a "stacked parking" garage, meaning you will be asked at the last minute to leave your car key with someone, which is something not made clear prior to entry and parking. Effectively you do all the work and take all the risk navigating a very narrow four-level access without the benefit of a valet parking. I don't think I'll park here again, and would rather walk over from the PMI garage at 919 18th st, which is a stacked parking but with an actual valet service.

Leena T Silberer: Terrible parking garage. I have been to some bad ones but this one takes the cake. If you need to go to this building my advice would be to park somewhere else. The service is rude and the garage itself is not big enough to allow two cars to pass, making it impossible to actually leave. Last time the machine was faulty and would not take any credit cards. As I did not have cash he refused to let me leave.... same thing happened to someone else in front of me and the 15 (!!) minute delay caused my parking fee to go up from $15 to $22. Of course, there was no way I was going to get a refund for the $7 I paid due to their faulty system. Avoid!!

Arnicia Jackson: Easy parking for handicapped. Access to elevator and lift also.

Myra Woods: Parking is a little tricky, but the valet service made it easy to pick up a patient.

Terrence Banks: No space

Lorena Rojas: Easy to park, the valet drivers are quick to get your car.

Maggy Nakimuli: Was there for an appointment, parking is expensive if you plan on being there take the bus ,uber or walk to venue.

Teresa Young: They were very very nice. Kinda small but they made it work

Irene Martinez: Excellent allergist at this address.

2100 M Street Parking: what do users think?

S L: DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE. It is a complete scam and cash grab. The sign indicates that the hours are until 7pm, which a person would reasonably assume is when the attendant leaves, like every garage in the District of Columbia. Instead, they close a gate over the entire garage, lock of all the doors, and essentially steal your car to keep it overnight to make money so you can't access it. They also charge a $50 fee to have someone open it for you "after hours" because they're broke, desperate, and unethical. If someone was in the car waiting for you at an appointment they'd have essentially kidnapped them, as there is no way in or out. Do not under any circumstances use this garage. Additionally, the attendant here needs to take a class in customer service or try meditation because he's extremely miserable.

Jabari Brooks: They have a sign that says Saturday parking will be a flat fee and the attendant even notified me that i would be able to get my car after operation hours. However, when I parked there on Friday I was not able to get my car until the next day in WHICH they charged $50.

Melody M: Don’t park here on Friday after 6pm! They close at 7 and keep your car in until Monday. Other places warn you an hour ahead that they’ll be closing but this place just wants to get you to pay extra to retrieve your car.

Tyairha T: I always get good park at a reasonable rate. The grounds stay clean and has good lighting. The attendants are always nice and respectful especially Abute. He goes above and beyond with his customer service. He told me about the monthly parking so I could save money since I park here everyday. I have been to many parking garages in the city but this is by far the best. Thanks Abute for the suggestion!!!

Adam Johnson: Say they have Saturday parking but are actually closed and make you pay a $50 fee to get your car. Basically a scam

Parking Convention Center DC: what do users think?

Duy Nguyen: One star for the convenient location. Horrible service and management. Why keep double selling parking spots when there’s no room? Parking attendant: “it’s your problem not mine.” Paid $60 for a parking spot for 2 nights. On the second day (we still have a spot paid for till end of night), we left for two hours for errands in the morning, came back and the attendant blocked us at entrance. When asked why did we lost our parking, he said it was our problem that we left and it did not matter that we paid for the parking. When asked for manager or company contact info, the man refused and kept telling us there was no spot and that we could not force him to do anything. How can one screw up such simple math/logic problem?

Dan Hogan: What a mess. I reserved a spot via SpotHero. When I arrived, they told me it was full and they wouldn't honor my reservation. I sat there for a bit on the phone with SpotHero figuring out where to go. After I figured out where to go and was ready to leave, they waived me in. Miraculously, there were spots available. By the time I got well into my trip I saw a note from SpotHero that my reservation was canceled. What a mess. Don't trust them.

Angie Patterson: The price was right $20- It is a tight lot. Enter from K Street, North side. The exit to New York Ave. is closed now.

Sarina H: Be careful parking here at night. It’s not guarded or well lit, and my car was broken into.

Dawn Canavan: Decent parking lot, short distance from arena, shopping and eateries. Lot is poorly paved and parking spaces are very close together. $25 for the day, gates lock at midnight on the weekend. Was easy to get to New York Avenue to exit the city.

Austin Gipson-Black: Do not park here. The attendants lie about the price and overcharge so they can pocket the extra. I know the lot charges different prices for different days and times, but I was charged two different amounts at the same time on two different week days. I initially parked there because it had a high fence and would be locked at night, but the attendant said don’t leave anything in your car. There are plenty of cheaper places to park, don’t do business with this place.

Mike Meachem: This was a great experience 4 blocks from the venue. I loved the fact that I did the online reservation and handled everything from the QR code. Th e price and the ease was a plus. I will be doing more weekend events at the DC Convention Center.

Kourtney DeBoer: Nice staff on site, easy to find, easy to park, affordable.

Emmanuel Coleman: Spaces are too cramped, lanes are too narrow. Saw a few freshly dinged cars.

Rama Krishna K: very good except no parking

mustangjimi: Nice place for our Expedition EL, larger parking spaces for overnight parking. Reasonably priced too. Google shows 610 12th street but the picture helped. 1201 F Street parking is on the wall inside.

Charles M: Clean, convenient, and easy parking. $21 for the day and $12 on Saturday is a real bargain in the city. Convenient to the national mall and walkable to Chinatown and many other attractions, not to mention all the meeting places and businesses nearby. Metro station across the street. Closed after 11, closed Sunday, and they don’t allow in and out. All things considered, one of the better parking options around.

Aaron Rodriguez: 12 dlls seems a very reasonable price for evening parking. Used it when going to Warner Theater. pre-reserved using ParkWhiz. Upon arrival I showed the phone code, 30 seconds and I was in. Elevators are only for monthly members so you have to walk up to the ground level, and there is no real walkway so be careful.

Amir Haroun: I have expperienced nothing but wonderfull service from this Garage. a yearly tag for a specific location...hmmm why would someone stole that if it is for a specific location. but I use the garage most of the time and they seem OK.

Katie Geier Noreiga: Do not park here - the valets are thieves. They stole a yearly DC visitor parking pass from our car.

Andrew Jefferies: Friendly and experienced staff, very affordable hourly rates and daily rates.
Response: Good morning Andrew, thank you for the great review and kind words. We hope to have you back soon. Drive safely!

love lace: There garages are not safe my car got stolen, no help from company

Amy Graham: We went to the address and it wasn't there, Google Maps.
Response: Hello Amy, Did you ever find the garage? The main building entrance is on F St NW, but the entrance to the garage is on 12th St NW, right next to Capitol Eyes and At&t. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Sundos Bader: very good

Brian Mieras: Easy to park here

H Street Parking: what do users think?

Patrick Forbes: One of the worst parking experiences I have ever encountered, having lived in DC for five years. Was screamed at on several occasions to move my car from the lot because the owner wanted to use the space for something else, such as the H St festival a few weeks back, despite having paid for the entire month to park with no warning of black out dates, as well as not receiving compensation for not being able to use the spot I paid for. Owner terminated our parking contract with him and did not reach out to us, despite having our phone number, and refunded us for the month we had already paid for. Three days after he had apparently done this, with zero warning to us as we do not use the car a lot and received no phone call, he had a $250 ticket issued to us for "parking without consent", despite having paid for the next month and not notifiying us of the change. The following day, my girlfriend received the first phone call about this from him and he immediately began screaming at her that he was going to tow our car, despite us not knowing anything about the situation yet. Still working on getting the ticket thrown out but it fits perfectly within the "unlawful ticket" description, so I may be able to avoid needing to pay it. I regret parking here at all, and I hope no one else ever does.

Sarah Roche: Aggressively threatening signs about towing your car if you don’t pay but then they don’t give you a way to pay.. no attendant or machine. If you try to use an app you’ll pay $20 for an hour? This is all the way goofy.

P Pate: No closing hours posted. In a restaurant district, closed up tight before 10pm. Ridiculous.

Wharf Parking Garage 1 - 7th Street Circle Entrance: what do users think?

Maria Gomez: The parking garage is very small, very expensive (we paid 35.00 for 4 hours (max is 45). The parking lot is very congested, the design of the garage is like a labyrinth. We spent about 15 minutes looking for parking. There is limited parking in this area so there are not many options making this one of the few choices.

Will Haywood Smith: $45 overnight is actually $70 to stay overnight because their prices “reset at 4am”. Absolute robbery.

1100 4th St SW Garage: what do users think?

Trese Briggs: It was hard to find an attendant and there were a lot of us looking. We reserved thru spot hero. It's not all make and very unclear where you are/are not allowed to park... and was probably overbooked since so many of us made it into the garage but there were no open spots. We finally parked in an enterprise car spot but we wouldn't leave until we actually found an attendant who then assured us that we wouldn't get towed. We missed batting practice but thankfully made the first pitch. Relieved our car was still there after the game.

MFPhoto1: Parking spaces are wide enough for any car. There are plenty of other parking garages in DC where that is not true, and you risk scratching your car. One problem was purchasing parking in advance. Paying and reserving was not a problem, but once I arrived it was a bit confusing as to where and how I scan in my ticket. The parking attendant's office is hard to find. After a late running show at Arena Stage, I returned to find access to the elevator was no longer accessible. So I had to walk down to level 2 by way of the driving ramp. That is never safe.

Brad Daniels: $15/hour $26/day max $17 weekend / evening after 4pm You can run into Safeway and scan the card by the checkout to validate for up to 90 mins of free parking.

Kristin Ricks: Its a basic parking deck under safeway. $14 bucks cost.

Kelly Kay: Good location and it’s nice that you can reserve a spot days in advance. Decent rates too

Randy Harrell: Very good place to park as a jumping off point for the capitol. A very short walk to the Metro and a half mile walk to Nationals Park.

Kenneth Davis: Good D.C. parking. Made reservation which relieved tensions, no searching👀.

Neil Kossler: It's a garage.

One Parking: what do users think?

Daniel Cosper: One of the largest parking garages I have used in downtown Washington DC. Well lit and meticulously maintained. Easy to navigate and plenty of room for large vehicles. All of the attendants are friendly and have always been very helpful.

Paul Davis: Last minute used this garage after unable to fit my car into a different garage across the street where I had a reservation. Plenty of room, easy in and out, clean. Able to park my Dodge Charger with no issue, an attendant on duty helped point out available spaces (super helpful).

C4Explore: I went to DC today, and fully expected parking to be troublesome, to say the least. Pennsylvania Ave was blocked off, causing me to be unable to pick the closest garage. My 2nd option was full and closed up. I called another, and the number was out of service. Number 4 didn't answer...but these guys did, and had plenty of space. $12 for all day Mother's Day, not a bad price at all. The garage was clean and well lit, the attendants were polite, helpful, and quick responsive, (alot of automation, but they have call buttons, and answer them), and even the lobby security was courteous and helpful. They are also within a few blocks to the mall, and various other sights in the city. Definitely a worthy service in an incredible city!

Dan Evens: All doors were locked on a Saturday afternoon, had to walk through car ramps to get our car back. Dumb.

Donald Watts: Thus and other parking near the mall and sites are perfect. Ease to enter and exit, close to city and fair pricing.

Dan MacGregor: Impossible to find way around or get back to your car after hours

Anthony Sam: Worked pretty well for me im not from nor do I live in DC so i guess $22 for a day in DC isn't to bad. I got what I came there to do.

Michele Walsh, ASL Interpreter: Open on a Saturday in D.C. is a big deal especially with all the events going on, it sure was a relief.

Alex A: Not recommended. No signs on 11th St. to let you know which garage this is. If you booked a spot at 555 11th St. NW you will almost certainly pull into this garage on 11th St. next to a large 555 sign. This garage is actually 555 12th St. NW. He will make you pay a second time when you leave, and you will have to because you are indeed in the wrong garage because they don't bother to let you know outside which garage it is. What a happily confusing coincidence for them that there is another garage across the street. One could be forgiven for thinking it might be deliberate. But who's to say... He sure was happy about it though.
Response: Alex, we are so sorry to hear about your confusing experience. Our sales showed the GPS address as DC - 555 12th St. NW Garage - 560 11th St. NW. The confusion is normally the other way around, our parkers can't find us and park with Colonial. We do however agree that the will signage for both locations need to be better to help alleviate some of the confusion. We have also made the various online vendors we work with aware of this issue. We are sorry for the confusion and we hope you'll give us another try in the near future. Thank you!

Local Resident: Excellent place to park. $15 first hour but only $22 for all day. Very clean and friendly staff. Signage blends in with building but still not hard to find. Thanks

SP+ Parking: what do users think?

Brian Tate: PSA FOR HOLIDAY TRAVELERS! We came for holiday weekend, and we were not warned about limited hours for retrieving our car — even after specifically asking an attendant when dropping the car off. We walked into the facility to get our car on the morning of out departure, found no staff on site, and the doors locked behind us, trapping us in the garage!!! We called the after hours number for emergency help, and got a voice mail message saying they would get back to us next business day. Eventually someone came along, but no one ever responded to our call.

Chloe Zimmerman: Clean, intuitive garage just a few blocks from the White House. We parked here ahead of our West Wing tour on a Sunday (when many garages in DC are closed) and paid $11 for the day. The guy who assisted us was very friendly and cheerful and helped us find a spot very near the elevators, which dropped us off in the Washington Square mall, just around the corner from Farragut North Metro. Convenient, reasonable price, not at all dark or sketchy. Very happy.

Mina Jaan: I am starting to dislike the employers. They are slow, disrespectful, they don't acknowledge you, they fight with each other. I even got yelled at once, because the disagreed that I couldn't find my car. I said I got someone to park it for me, still they wouldn't believe me. Unbelievable. I complained to the manager he addressed it. Now again I wasn't acknowledged when waiting to park myself since they have changed things. I waited and waited until I get acknowledged and I was running already late, yet I waited for 5 minutes giving him time to come around and letting me know where to park but nothing, he would move very slow and just taking his time. I just parked my car w/o getting his advise and I told him I will complain to your manager this is unacceptable and I refused to give my keys because you did not even acknowledge me. I don't have time and you see that I need assistance yet you did not care to care for my time. I just left and walked away. I hope this gets handled by someone soon.

Russell Anema: Attendant stole my lumbar support while they had the key. When I got into my car and noticed it was gone, I immediately told one of the attendant who got COMPLETELY defensive and was extremely rude. I filled out a form one of the other attendant gave me and was told I would be called within 2 days. Guess what? That call never came and I'm pretty much out of luck now unless I go through the trouble of filling a police report but it was several weeks ago already. I should have called the police the same day. Lesson learned.

Tony Tubiolo: Good weekend parking garage - about the only one in the area that is open on Sunday! We drove our small car, but could have easily fit our minivan into the large parking spaces it has. It was only $11 for all day parking on Sunday. The garage is open until midnight. It was self-park, and I did not have to give my keys to a parking attendant, so I knew it could not be moved or damaged by a parking attendant. Perfect experience.

Brittany Penn: Lied to about price. Boyfriend and I came here for a over night trip. Got there around 1030 AM on a Saturday and we stayed at CQ Hotel (who has a special price with the parking garage). So I told the man that and he tells my boyfriend he’d charge us 11$ for the day and then 11$ Sunday if we left at 7AM. that worked perfectly since we planned to leave that early. We just went to leave and the same man told my boyfriend he’d have to pay the FULL 31$ to leave because his boss wouldn’t let him do the deal he promised us. So we paid a grand total of 42$ for parking there for not even 24 hours.

Christopher Rose: A bunch of vallets that just sit around and do not actually get your car. Took them 20 minutes to finally get my car, and it wasn't buried behind a bunch of cars on the lowest deck, it was just sitting around the corner....

Christine V.: Cheap and efficient. I love the text to pick up service.

Tucker Patterson: Not a good parking garage and very tight spaces.

Andrew Holub: The employees are slow, rude and disrespectful.

National Place Parking: what do users think?

L. B.: Parking garage is clean and nice. Easy to book through spot hero. But Warning! You come up through the elevator to the lobby of the One Freedom Plaza building. Beware, they won’t let you back in! We got back and there was no one at the front desk, we tried calling on the wall and they said they’d get ahold of the desk but still no one came. We waited for 15 minutes before we walked around the block to the vehicle entrance, and had to walk down the ramp (dangerous with small kids!) and get into the elevator next to the parking kiosks to go to our parking level.

Jason Brynarsky: Their parking garage is awful. It’s narrow and can barely handle two lanes of traffic. And you can’t always take the elevator you used to leave the garage to get back to your car because the ground floor lobby doors lock after a certain time. Nothing against the staff. They are making the best of a bad situation.

Nicole Edworthy: Terrible. Self-parking, turns that SUVs seem scared to use, back-ups and pay machines on P1 (and at the exit, i.e. 20-30 min after you get to your car!) and $32+ for any time over 4hr. There are lots of options, best to find somewhere else or take the metro.

Eric Hillman: Great.clean parking decent weekend price.

Mike Sutton: I have parked at this location for years. Today, I discovered -- after parking on the "green" level that I could use the stairs to exit to the street. However, when you return to your vehicle you CANNOT use the stairs. You are directed to walk down the entry/exit ramps! What moron thought this was a good idea, especially for people with disabilities? I wonder how long that policy will/would last if a customer was struck by an vehicle entering/leaving. Today was the last time Quikpark, Inc. will see any of my business!

Epper Marshall: Very narrow garage. There is no direct connect up to the national theatre and no good way to get in to your car late at night. Also getting out took quite a while, not a very efficient system.

Christina Roman: We visited Washington DC this past weekend for a wedding and parked in this parking garage. We saw on the sign that it was no overnight parking after we had pulled into the garage; so we asked the parking attendant were the closest garage was that we could park overnight. He said we could park in this garage overnight. So we parked there and went about our day; the next morning we went to retrieve or vehicle and the garage door was closed completely. There were no hours stated for Sunday we called the number available for the garage and received a recording that stated that the garage was closed on Sunday. We then sought help from the valet at the JW Mariotte Hotel and later found that the garage would be open at 10am. We waited until 10:15 and the parking attendant showed up. We refused to pay the parking fee due to the inconvience of him being late as well as his lack of complete information. He said he could not allow us to leave. We then requested to speak with the manager about the service and the parking attendant said the managers were not in on the weekends and refused to give us the manager's number. Everything the attendant seemed to say was contradictory. The parking attendant should have been more informative when telling use we could park there; this alone could have caused major problems for us if we had a flight or had to return a rental car. This issue ruined our final day int he city. Needless to say we will not be parking there when we return to the city.

Murilo Ribeiro: Good location. Decent price on weekends.

Mary Auld: This is the worst garage ever—25 mi items to enter and 45 to exit. Terrible never go there

love lace: If anything happens to your vehicle they are no help automated basically they don't care about their customers
