T. Gafford: Great young staff, courteous & very helpful. Tons of stuff for Wizards, Mystic' & Capitals' fans. Reasonable prices also.

Billy Knapp: The worst part was the useless showing your vaccine status to enter and having to wear a mask B.S. imposed by the terrible mayor! The stadium and staff were outstanding as always. Everyone I encountered was super friendly.

I went to the store to get that new capitals hoodie and then Mrs Sherri asked if I needed any help and began helping me out. After 10 minutes of helping me out with everything we began to talk and I want to say Capital One Arena has one of the most kindness loving sweetest person I've meet coming to the team store. Mrs Sherri and Davghn are the type of people you want working for you because I'll be coming back and telling others as well too!!

John Parker Hoade: Love the Caps and would love to give these guys a good review, but if you're an out of town fan and are looking to get some type of inventory confirmation over the phone before making the trip, you're out of luck. I have called the arena 8 times and have been transferred to the store all 8 times where I have waited for the phone to be answered for 10 minutes each time before the call just cutoff. To make things even better, there is no way to get in touch over email or social media. I have tried all avenues and gotten no response. I would love to do business with my teams local store but the customer service has been abysmal.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Fred Gamble Jr: I bought the XL Big Green Egg display model and was handled by Hannah who was so nice and courteous to me! She not only handled my transaction with a smile, but ensured that my delivery would be seamless. Kyle and Mateo came to my home and were two of the nicest delivery professionals I ever encountered. Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Al Boyd: Customer service, was excellent. But I didn't appreciate being mistaken for a thief. I had the receipt was in my bag. I am a retired police officer, I don't need too steal anything from anyone.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

danceswithcars w: While the renamed store still hosts TheBikeHouse on the edge of the parking lot and tools inside, not much else has changed, afaict, still kind of unpaid day laborers in relation to a for profit store. When at Qualia it was coffee/light foods and taking over the back yard. This tools, supplies and learning some basic mechanics. How to change a flat. How a ratchet works. On up through what can be done with bikes... At times I wish TBH would takeover a foreclosed property and have a home... Until then I guess buy cold sweet liquids while baking to death in the heat without bathroom nor filtered cold water access. FWIW I was at the (original) opening with council member(s), food truck, etc. District HW (w 🚲), old Capital Hill Fragers that burned, saw deceased mayor there, etc.

Mark Pry: Excellent hardware store in the Petworth area that typically has everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Chris was especially helpful when I needed to grab a few bags of mulch!

Daniel Alexander: The first time I came to this location, I received excellent help in finding the right size nail for a small drawer. But today, despite the store not being very busy, no one offered much help in me trying to decide on plants or planters. Fine, I can do it myself. But then the plastic plate rang up for over twice the actual price. And none of the plastic planters have any prices, so I ended up returning everything and leaving with only time wasted - if I can't trust the register to ring up one item properly (aka theft) then I think the other prices might be wrong (or just way overpriced for some cheap plastic planters).

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Brighter lights,the women's clothing layout displays of colors style,etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking.It need a upgrade!

Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

He asked me to bring in my furniture, offered me a dolly to wheel it in from my car, and used some tools free of charge at the store to help get the screw properly threaded so I could finish building my furniture. It was so kind of him to offer his assistance, I likely would have had to exchange the furniture if I didn’t have his help. She always tries to drag me in for treats. They have a great plant selection. They change things up but you can usually find a good array of basics and less common plants. Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.

Ms.: I love the items in the store. Very stylish and very unique. 2 full floors of sofas, pillows, dishes, pot holders, baskets, wall decor and more. Easy to stay in store and "look"..sure to find an item for your home or gift for another. Can't really talk about customer service except to say no one acknowledged or ask me did I need help to find an item. I was on my own..succeed

Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.

Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

MIchael Wright: Prices are unnecessarily high, since the doors are left open during warm weather, thus requiring more energy for A/C,, which also incrementally contributes to climate-changing emissions. So, not the shop for customers who either don't like higher prices or want to help the environment.

Angela Garcia: STAY AWAY FROM WEST ELM. It's customer service is the worst, they won't ever deliver your items on time, they won't care and won't do anything about their mistakes with your order....it is just not worth it. I have received the wrong item TWICE (which honestly I don't understand how they can mess up the size of a piece which is clearly stated in their website other than it should have never been offered there in the first place because it doesn't exist). Now I'm stuck with an item which is not the one I ordered, and west elm won't care to pick it up and complete the return. THIS BRAND IS A JOKE.

Jonathan Mullen: Some nice stuff. Seems overpriced for what it is. Similar to Crate and Barrel.Joybird is just down the street and offers higher quality furniture at a better price.

Annapurna Mitra: The worst delivery experience I have encountered. I ordered a dining table and four chairs, with in-home delivery. The chairs were sent via UPS, not assembled, and with no explanation despite paying $250 for in-home delivery. I live alone, and there are 7 pages of assembly instructions requiring two people. I have no way of doing this, and am left with a living room like a furniture warehouse. On the other hand, the dining table, which was ready 10 days ago, and I had asked the customer service to wait and schedule an appointment for all items together is yet to arrive. I cannot find a way to schedule anything on the website, and on the phone I can not find a way to talk to a human being. I have received no response to my email. If I could give zero stars I would.

Sarah Gunel: Customer service was super here! All of the sales associates were helpful, but not pushy. They were also pleasant (happy). After we returned home from our shopping, I realize that I left my daughter's hat there. I called and the woman who answered the phone said she would mail it to me. I was incredibly impressed with their customer service. I would definitely return to this store!

Michael Brown: As a company, REI should not inflict their political beliefs onto customers. That said, they carry good gear and this particular location is fantastic. Every time I have come here they have exactly what I need. The staff are friendly and helpful and generally knowledgeable. I don’t know who makes REI branded clothes and gear, but they do a good job.

Mike R: I like this store for so many reasons. First: they have excellent customer service. Today I walked in with my bike to get my flat tire fixed. A woman approached me and signed me in. Then a man walked up to me and asked if I would like to him to park my bike. I was appalled by this gesture. Second: This establishment has everything here. I mean like… leave that bike area if you want to. You will be buying anything from energy gel to underwear. Third: conveniently located right beside the metro.

I waited forever even after pushing this button (photo) and a guy that was helping someone else acknowledged they heard me and would be coming. Still waiting as I type this. Louisa Buatti: I visited REI for the first time since the pandemic began. My pick up of an online order went very smoothly. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful--they all offered to direct me to the customer service/pick up area. I was in and out of the store in a flash.

Andrea Wu: I came here to pick up my shoes that I ordered online, and after trying them out in nature, they were too big so I came back to return and get new ones. The staff helping me was very helpful, bringing me different shoes for me to try on. I finally got a pair that fit properly, and checkout was pretty speedy too. Parking on the street might be a bit tough, but it's not too bad!

H Gill: Great store! love REI… but checking out here is always a 15 min wait. The checkout line moves at a snail’s pace, and the managers/supervisors don’t seem to care. I’ve seen customers put items down and leave out of frustration.

Rebecca Tolbert: Generally a good store, but the parking situation is currently very weird. You park in the parking deck and then have to walk all the way around a whole city block because they have blocked off the elevator and stairs. So, you drive into the parking deck and then have this surprise journey ahead of you, through a sketchy alley and everything. Just wanted to give other customers a heads up!

Ben Layton: Bike shop effectively closes at 6:30, not 7:00, since you have to get on a wait-list to get the bike checked in and the wait-list closes at 6:30. Called in advance and told them when I'd get there and they didn't mention that, so came all the way here for nothing. Turnaround on basic repairs also 9-10 days rn, which is honestly nuts.

R: Oddly enough they aren’t dog friendly yet I saw a pitbull walking around without a service vest. The area around is horrendous, good luck finding a parking spot. Really disappointed that REIs aren’t dog friendly yet their competitors REI and Bass Pro is.

Jamie X: I am a huge fan of the CB2 brand. I visited the store to see some of the contents in my online cart in person. I loved every piece just as much as I did online. The showroom itself is okay. Georgetown is always busy. One plus is the complimentary validation of parking if you visit the store for 1 hour. They did have floor models of a lot of the more featured pieces. I felt the rug selection was a little lacking. And the selection of lighting was also lacking. Overall if you know what your looking for you trip will be worth it. The sales staff was friendly and helpful with out being pushy...another plus.

Samantha Angel: This store permanently closed on Feb 20, 2022. They will open a new store in the Tysons Corner area in Virginia, not sure when. So even shopping online is tricky, because they still have stuff packed up at this store and no news on when or where the new store will be set up. Otherwise love their products! Especially the Drift Reactive Indigo Dinner Plates! But when you try to order online it shows in stock, you pay and then receive emails it's not in stock and they cancel your order. Then the website still shows it in stock, what's going on Crate and Barrel 2? CB2... come on now, we love your stuff now make it easier for us to buy them.

Aref Darzi: One of the worst experiences I ever had in ordering furniture. I placed an order for a coffee table, a floor lamp, and a a set of dinnerware and flatware. The coffee table delivered damaged one week later than their estimated time and I needed to wait for 11 more days to get it replaced. The floor lamp is right now 1.5 months delayed without any updates from CB2. The dinnerware set was delivered with some broken pieces, I asked for replacing, after 2 weeks they sent it to a wrong number. It is a mess. I don't recommend placing any order from CB2 unless you can see the actual item in the store and pick it up right away. It has been a disastrous experience.

Nikki Banner: Beautiful store with LOTs of sales associates. But not one does design and can’t give input. You have to book an appointment online. They also are promoting 15% off on their site but they weren’t knowledgeable in store. Could definitely be improved. For those buying put your email in online and get the promo code. Promo code can be used in store

Sha Mar: I love this store. Staffs are friendly, polite and professional! Furnitures are modern, stylish and elegant! Atmosphere is fantastic!!!!! You can spend hours and hours looking around and nobody would even bother you! This is my kind of furniture store! They recently added natural plants into their designs looks like heaven on earth to me! You should definitely check out their new designs, details, their new fresh plans with pots and etc ... super stylish and very up to-date with modern style of living plus the touch of nature which is perfect.

Muge Sherdil: This place is awesome! We have been furnishing our entire home from here. The place is inviting and very cute, but above all, customer service is above and beyond. They are always friendly, helpful and very accommodating. At a particularly busy time a few days ago we paid another visit to the store and we were catered to with such care it is unbelievable. Ray and Britanny went out of their way to make it convenient for us and always kept their friendly demeanor. Thank you so much!

Sara Tenney: I had a bad experience with the store manager. I returned pillow cases and she told me they were used which they weren’t. Apparently my cats had climbed into the bag which cats are known to do and the pillow cases had cat hair on them. It was of course what she should have inquired but it was clear she didn’t believe me when I said they weren’t and I felt terrible that she believed I was lying. She could have handled the situation with a lot more grace. I won’t be back

Gaurav Aggarwal: Lots of options but not as wide as what is available online. And expensive too. But the staff was super helpful.

Janice L: Store is 3 floors, one upstairs, ground floor and basement. The men's is on the ground floor and women's and children are upstairs. I didn't checkout the basement so I can't say what was there. They have all the styles you see online and I would say probably more because there was a women's winter jacket that I was interested in, but I didn't get it because I wanted to order online instead, and now I can't find it! Anyways, I couldn't decide what color rain coat to get, but an employee was able to inform me about how to clean and take of their light colored rain coats. In the end I went with the pink color rather than my usual black. Really happy with my first Patagonia purchase!

Harry Deitch: Certainly not what it once was. I used to purchase Patagonia exclusively, that won't be the case any longer, short of a miracle they aren't standing behind their product. Pilling isn't normal, oh but they say it is, their back pack webbing tears up clothes, it destroyed a Patagonia hoodie. They suggested we purchase a stone to rub it off. It might be nice if they went back to the original Patagonia quality.

K Perkins: Great store and very friendly and helpful staff. I had a broken zipper tab on my 4 year old fleece and they replaced it free of charge (Patagonia guarantee) in ten minutes. Love Patagonia and love their clothing! Note you may have to make an appointment as they are limiting the number of people in the store due to COVID.

Tomas Garcia: This store is very well decorated and distributed. It packs two floors of very good quality clothing for cold weather. Most if not all of the clothing items are made from recycled materials, so on top of wearing top quality and fashionable clothing you are helping the environment by buying from the Patagonia brand. Excellent experience and excellent products.

Enrico Tocol: The staff were very helpful and nice. I had to return one item and planned to get another item repaired. They returned the item without any hassle and the one that’s supposed to be repaired, they just offered to replace it with a new one. Excellent customer service and warranty policy! Kudos to Patagonia for responsible business and customer centered practices. Will continue to buy Patagonia products.

I had an issue with product purchased at different location, but was running late to DC store to exchange - I called ahead and store let me in 5 minutes after closing to resolve issue. Great, accommodating staff! // Only issue is map location was different from physical address.

Laura McAuley: The best customer service and you don’t even have to explain yourself three times! A quality staff who are happy to help you. The store front is a bit understated that it’s a little hard to find, so make sure you don’t pass it by...like I always do. The Saturday I dropped by, they were serving yummy hummus, stuffed grape leaves, some tacos-type finger food and beer. They were having a fund raiser for cleaning up the wetlands in Ward 8. Gotta love it! Patagonia makes good clothes that fit well and do what they say it does; either to keep you really warm or really cool. Quality stuff comes with a price, but why buy three cheap shirts when you can wear one that washes well, keeps you comfortable and has a flattering fit?

Khai Le: I was introduced to Trunk Club by a friend and I accompanied him to his visit and got to experience some myself. The store is pretty nice with a bar ready to serve you while waiting. They have been acquired by Nordstrom so they can tap onto a bigger reservoir; that doesn't mean that they have a big inventory in store. I have a pretty small and lean body so there were not many pieces for me to try on. However, they do try to mix and match and help them spice up your style. I'd recommend this place if you need a little hand with fashion.

Laurel maury: I told them I'm an older professional woman with responsibility. They send me a cropped top blouse and a bodysuit best suited to a 23-year-old who parties. I tell them I have ankle problems and can only wear flats, so they send me platform shoes that would cripple me if I wore them. I gave them a budget of $100-$200 per item; they send me items ranging from $200 to $350. The only things they send that I'd consider are hugely overpriced, shapeless items similar to I can buy on Uniqlo or at Costco for $40, and they recently sent me what I consider the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. Basically, I've gotten one good pair of jeans from them. I'm returning everything this month, and giving them one more month to see if they can send me something decent. Otherwise, I'm cancelling the mo-fos. Seriously, they're very ageist. I don't know who they're selling to. (Neither do they, apparently.) It's clothes for people in their early 20s that are priced for people in their early 50s.

GMAIL ACCOUNT USER: I have to be their biggest fan. This is by far the best subscription service out there. I was able to update my career and vacation wardrobe from my home; finding items that were unique for my taste & budget. It’s like Christmas and valentines together. :)

Erinn Broadus: I am all about a personal stylist and I don't mind spending a bit of money on clothes, but I will not be returning to trunk club. The first time I went there was with my boyfriend and he got exceptional service, while there were very few options for women. My stylist said she would hand pick items for me before our next appointment and so I agreed. After filling out a style profile and explaining exactly what I was looking for my stylist presented me with about 10 garments that I would NEVER wear. It's clear that they are making a profit out of shopping from the clearance rack.

Jennifer Stephens: For 1.5 years I've always had a great experience whether ordering through the catalog or coming on-site to pull items. Even through stylist changes I've been happy. But, what really put them over the edge is how the team responded when things went wrong. I got an entire trunk where nothing fit well or looked great. I sent every item back, but my stylist, Monet Ray, assured me that all was not lost and had me come in and was able to pull items from the warehouse that turned my spirit around. Another time I bought a jumpsuit (so trendy am I!) and sent it off for altering. It came back too tight to put on (a mis-tailoring). SIX, yes SIX staff stepped up to scramble and help. I came out of the dressing room incredibly upset, but front desk staff Audrey empathized pulling in another stylist Elena who was there to work with me and assure me all would work out, tailor Alexander, and yet another stylist, Shayla, to pull alternative options. They fixed the issue quickly on site. And in the middle of it a manager came of just to check in. How a company responds when things go wrong is so much more important to me than things never going wrong. Trunk Club really came through and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Lauren Geiger: Do not expect great customer service, especially online. I had Trunk Club accidentally over charge me by over $800. I emailed customer service, messaged my stylist and called the customer service line. That was five days ago. My stylist never responded, customer service never emailed me back and it took three phone calls before I spoke to anyone on the customer service line to get my money back. So, case in point, they carry good brands and I enjoyed the service, but if you want to be valued as a customer do not use Trunk Club. They could care less about your business.

Keri Christensen: Update: what a difference a different stylist can make. Elyce has seriously changed my wardrobe and entire attitude about shopping. She very quickly learned my style, and is great about suggesting things I wouldn’t try own my own but end up looking and feeling great. Really impressed by her ability to help me actually enjoy shopping- I have purchased more from Trunk Club in the last year than I have in stores for a decade. I get complimented every time I wear one of the outfits Elyce has helped me put together. Original review: Super unorganized. I worked with this service for 4 weeks, trying to get some beautiful spring clothing for work. I answered hours and hours of questions about my preferences, provided pictures, discussed colors and styles I liked, and what I needed clothing for. The clothing sent included nothing even close to what I had described - it consisted of 6 long flowery dresses in pastel colors. Since I am not 7 years old and don't work at the Easter parade, I was very disappointed in these selections. After 4 weeks of waiting I still didn't have any new clothing, and was informed it would take 2-3 weeks to get any more. The on-site location doesn't have a wide range of sizes, and as a tall size I needed more selections. Very disappointed in the service which I was very much looking forward to.

Amy Graff: Beautiful, comfortable space with excellent service. My stylist listened to what I was looking for, pushed me a bit outside of my comfort zone (in a good way!), and even helped me reframe how to use pieces I already own. Picked up a few high quality things (with tailoring!) and am awaiting my first trunk to fill the gaps we couldn't in-store.

Joseph Stazzone: Beautiful interior design. Very helpful specialists. I worked directly with Caz and Courtney. They hand designed two shirts with me, choosing fabric, stitch patterns, collar type, buttons, and thread colors. Everything tailored to your exact fit. It is not cheap, but if you want to look nice, I highly recommend picking up a couple outfits from these guys!!
