DC DMV - Rhode Island Service Center: what do users think?

Jonathan Zator (JZ): I've been to many DMVs over the years. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Service was courteous. Being next to the metro stop was convenient. Took off a star because the waiting area residually smelled of cigarettes and body odor (even while double-masked).

Omoyeni Oyekola: I was so disorganized and completely clueless on the documents I needed to bring. But K. Castro was extremely nice. She was so patient, understanding, and helpful. She really made my day so much better and lighter. Her customer service is top notch! Like, she was so effective, and courteous while still maintaining her professionalism. The world will be so much better if everyone had her interpersonal skills. Thank you miss. Castro! I wish you a genuinely wonderful life!

Mathew Crichton: Quick and easy! I showed up in the morning right at 8:15 a.m. when they opened. I was probably the 30-40th person in line, and I was all done with getting my out-of-state driver's license converted into a DC driver's license within an hour. Great customer service, and easy to understand process. Definitely coming back to this location next time I need something from the DMV.

Tiffany Leung: It’s a bit surprising to be giving a DMV 5 stars, but they were great. Yolanda was so helpful and was incredibly kind. Be sure to look on the DMV website to make sure you bring all the correct documents. Have it printed and ready when you go. It’ll speed up the process and make it quick and painless for everyone.

Deviana Dewi: I came here to apply for an ID card. I arrived 30 minutes after the office opened, and there were 19 people ahead of me. The wait time was reasonable although I brought my book with me. Staff were organized, particularly Ms. Castro was so nice!

Nils Hünerfürst: You have to get there an hour before they open or you come after noon then you have nearly only 5 minutes of waiting. The rest is up to you.

Drew Hall: The rudest staff you will meet anywhere. They made my wife cry when she tried to offer proof of residence and they wouldn't explain why they wouldn't accept the documentation she provided. Unprofessional service, completely unacceptable.

Dicko Sulle: Great efforts to help but some employees are rude, arrogant and ignorant of their work. It hurts to get treated poorly because an employee is sitting on a system they don’t even understand. I was happy a senior worker fixed the issue but I was affected adversely and failed my test

Jason Bragdon: This is literally the worst dmv I’ve ever been to. Service is so slow and the people behind the desk are so rude. I waited 2 hours just to be told they don’t accept the paperwork I brought in to transfer my license over but when I spoke to them on the phone prior they said it was perfectly fine. 2 hours of my life I can’t get back and I will never return here again. And to the rude lady who laughed at me for waiting all the time to be denied I pray you get your karma!!

Jasmine J: Their service attitude is very poor. Every time I come in, they ask me to take different materials, different service personnel, and different materials. This makes me feel difficult. Tired and sad. Came here several times.

Deanwood Road Test Office: what do users think?

Acosta: Extremely unprofessional. They read over a checklist and don't explain anything to you. They expect you to know. Once you fail, then they explain it to you. Extremely passive aggressive. I don't understand, if you don't like your job, don't take it out on others. Extremely rude and cold. Told me I didn't know what I was doing. AVOID the the the girl with glasses and boy hair cut.

Shirley Jones: Anything to do with the DC DMV is always a terrible experience. They are forever finding small problems that just good common since can fix but, instead they like to inconvenience you unnecessarily.

Christie: The guard was very helpful and answered every question I had. Even came and looked at my car so I wood know that my son could not use it. Deanwood is on point

Emily Pakulski: Took my scheduled road test here. They were running exactly on schedule and all 5 people I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Perfect service. They had to charge me $30 extra because I missed my appointment back in December because that means I took the spot from someone else. Fair is fair.

M B: Be prepared becasue parallel parking is first and you have to get it right. Spanish lady was nice and calm. I asked alot of questions and she was patience and explained no problem.

Battle For lasagna: I had the black-braided hair pretty lady ( Sahita) as a instructor. She was was really chill, nice and laid back .I passed my test.Jehad

effie jennings: Took my youngest nephew there for his road test and he was done pretty quick!

Gerard Jones: Line was ridiculously long, yet the cashier and manager were on top of their game!!! KUDOS!!! 10 Thumbs👍 & BIG TOES Up...Extremely High Commendations to this staff...Approximate time was 12-sump'um in da' p.m.

Sinead Doyle: I took my drivers test here i'm 17 and it was a horrible experience. The lady was extremely rude and unforgiving. I am a good driver and came prepared however was met with utter rudeness. If you can avoid do NOT take your road test here. Not only was she unprofessional, she was passive aggressive and unnecessarily agitated.

bravell douglas: Like to give thanks to ifan for helping me with road test today i great guy

DC DMV - Southwest Service Center: what do users think?

Tisha Reese: Ran in to convert my out-of-state license & I was in & out in under 30 minutes. Customer service was outstanding from the moment I walked in until I left. I interacted with 3 employees & all 3 were delightful & superbly helpful. Shout out to Ms. Tolliver for making this my most positive DMV experience ever. Also, it was raining & chilly so I drove instead of walking & it was easy & convenient to park. A+ experience.

Cornelius Tyson: Always A 2 trip occasion. Web page never gives you entire information. This time they wanted to know we're making payments on the vehicle. Though the Library of Congress Federal credit union plastered all over paperwork. Iam understanding why others get there vehicles registered in Md., and Va, etc.

Makhiya Grinage: My Grandfather & I came here for a tag switch out, Ms.Nelson helped us to a certain extent. She gave us trouble, smart remarks & bad body language. She called the supervisor over, who was NO better. Finally another supervisor came out and helped us.. I WOULD NOT recommend this DMV to anyone. Benning Rd DMV, or GTown. I feel if I wasn’t here with my grandfather it would’ve been worse, it seems that this particular DMV treat elderly mean & nasty. Every-time it’s a run around, either they’re telling you that what you have isn’t enough for whatever service. 2/3 people that helped was mean and nasty. This isn’t a good way to treat an ELDERLY person, AT ALL! 2/10 stars for M St DMV.

Sean Randolph-Tensley: This was THE BEST DMV experience I've ever had. I went in to get a new DL had all of my paperwork but the young lady was very nice and wanted to help. This is the kind of service that is expected when I go to get service from the DMV.

Ernest Redding: Nothing against the employees. If you live out of state and handling a trust, Washington,DC is not friendly in that regard. I found out today that out of state property owners do not have a legal right to park in front of the property they own, not without a semi-annual permit; the permit cost is just north of $300. I find this disturbing for many reasons, one particularly is, out of state property owners pay a much higher tax rate than residents. Now add this; if for whatever reason you should need to come to Washington,DC for more than two hours to take care of your property; the city is not legally able to issue you a permit because Washington DC is not your primary or secondary residence. Sounds confusing huh!! Trust me it is. #dcisnotafriendlyplacefornonresidents

Cameron: Had amazing customer service. Moving from out of state so had to change my license and register my vehicle with just two short visits (I had to come back because I hadn’t changed my insurance to a DC policy) but Miss Perkins took amazing care of me and had me in and out in less than half an hour.

Nyya G: I am a mental health social worker. I have come to this location with my Asian consumer 3 times in the past 2 weeks to get an ID. Today, I went to the location hoping to get the consumers ID, but instead I was sent to counter 15 with a Black worker who was clearly unhappy to do her job and service the community. I am beyond frustrated about how these people in public service roles continuously give horrible customer service and terrible attitude towards the people of the community. If the workers are not satisfied with there job. There are a lot of other people that would love to take there position. Every time I come to this location it’s nothing but bad attitudes and horrible customer service. I don’t like this for DC. Benning Ridge location would never. Literally disgusted, after this I’m going to news channel 7, where someone is always on your side.

Isaac Holt: I have only been to this DMV twice, and both times I was impressed with it. When I came to take the test for my learner's permit I didn't run into any problems dealing with the people who worked there or the testing operation. Taking the test was very easy and after I took it (luckily I passed) the staff were very helpful with sorting out all of my documents and getting my permit officialized.

Amruta Ghate: Painless and the person I worked with was wonderful. She mercifully printed out a form for me that I was missing.

Chris S: Absolutely an incompetent and disrespectful joke. Lady at the counter for checkin has no idea what titling/registration rules are for anything that isn’t a standard type of vehicle and gives you bad instructions, read the rules and don’t listen to her. My number was called to counter 13, she waited one whole minute and went to the next person. I was standing in front of her counter and she pressed the button for the next person. Refused to accept me, forcing me to get a new number and wait 20 more minutes. M. Lewis immediately caught an attitude when I point out him contradicting rules. He then maintained that attitude through the whole interaction leading to him refusing to accept the correct documents and refusing to service me. I have wasted to much of my life trying to deal with these terrible people.

Arlington DMV Metro at Virginia Square: what do users think?

Michael Bustamante: Service at the DMV is great. However, DO NOT park at the giant next door and walk over. There’s a tow truck that parks across the street from the giant and waits for people to walk off the lot. They quickly drive over and pry your door open and tow your car. It’s an easy $135 for them. I was told by the company that if you walk off the lot for any reason, your car will get towed. That means you can’t go anywhere before or after going to giant.

Rebecca Cottrill: The best DMV experience I've had. While making an appointment meant I had to wait a few weeks to go, it was well worth it. I had no wait. They were waiting on me more than I was waiting on them. They were very competent. Definitely do your research so you know what you need and have it all ready when you get there. The person who helped me was very kind, helpful, competent, and patient with me. Will definitely be going here in the future!

Imani Porter: Great experience!! Went here this morning at 7:30am. Only 1 person was in front of us but by the time they opened at 8am, there was roughly 10 of us here. I was out by 8:20 only because there were a couple of people who made appointments, so they were prioritized ahead of me. The two women I talked to were so friendly and efficient. Tbh as long as you’re polite, have all your documents ready, and let them do their thing… you’ll have no issues!

Stoonookw: The waiting process here just doesn’t make sense. They’re mixing a bunch of random two letter appointments. with one letter walk-ins. A bunch of walk-ins went before me though. I asked about why other walk-ins were going before me and the customer service lady told me to basically sit down and shut up.

Kaytleth Farino: This DMV wasted my time Saturday, February 12, 2022. Got there at 9am did line for almost 30 minutes then got my number waited until 11:40am to get tell that the “system went down” but mind you the pregnant lady that call my number didn’t get her name, she took the picture and made me sign and everything to tell me at the end the “system went down”. Everyone in that DMV waited for hours to get tell at the end that the system went down. They should be smart and should’ve stop people in coming in.

Manda B: Still took me 45 minutes to get to a desk... But besides that everything was quick and clean

Synergist Synergist (Synergist): SSHHH. Don't tell anyone. Best DMV experience I have ever had. I arrived at the end of the day no appointment. They took me right away. In and out in FIVE minutes. Only drawback is parking is difficult. Our little secret.

Claire Lee: I usually never post reviews but honestly the experience here today was terrible.. I scheduled an appointment for my permit test at 10:30 am today. I went in at 10:25ish and went to the information desk, the lady at the information desk was nice and helpful. However, when I got my number, I had to wait there for almost 2 hours. I would have been fine if I had to wait for 30 minutes. But 2 hours? I literally had an appointment at exactly 10:30. I don’t know what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if walk-in customers get to go in earlier than me. It was really disappointing. My mom couldn’t find a parking spot so she had to drive around the whole time while I was waiting. When it finally became my turn, I tried to go in because my number was literally called but this other lady in the permit test section desk told me to go out and wait AGAIN. I tried to be understanding since I thought she was probably really busy. However, it took 20-30 minutes for her to call me in after I got my number called. When it finally became my turn, she wanted to check my documents again which I already did with the information desk lady before getting my number. But I just accepted it since I thought it was just the system and pulled out my documents. She looked at my residency documents and simply just rejected them. There was literally a deed and a marriage document. I told her that the name on the deed is my stepfather and we moved into his house from another state and there’s a literal proof that my mom got married to him and his address was on the document. But she said she can’t accept it since my mom’s name isn’t on the deed. Lawd of course it’s not going to be on the deed if it’s his house, ms lady💀. She really wasn’t understanding at all and made me waste my 2 hours, I couldn’t even take my permit test. And the absolute hilarious thing is that the information desk lady accepted my documents and she even asked this other lady next to her and she approved them as well. Please dmv, do not waste people’s precious time. It’s not like the only stuff on my to-do list are going to dmv and watching netflix. I’m really just asking you to be more efficient and cooperative.

Christopher Lugo: This place was fantastic. I waited less than 10 minutes and was out the door in five. I’ve never had a good DMV experience until now.

Crescenzo Esposito: I had to visit the DMV multiple times in the last years. I have tried many different DMVs and it never had a pleasant experience, until today. This DMV is efficiently and professionally managed. Not only, the employees are very friendly and willing to help, despite the amount of people that daily shows up. Going Saturday morning to the DMV has never been so pleasant and fruitful

DC DMV - Georgetown Service Center: what do users think?

Delainey Boyd: I love this DMV! Every time I go I am in and out. As long as you do your research and bring in your documents you’re set. I forgot the initial form but they had one there for me to fill out. By the time I was done I was being called up. Most recently went on a Friday at 1:15 and was out by 1:45, longest I’ve ever waited was about 45 minutes on a Saturday. The workers are helpful and kind, I’ve never had a bad experience!

Dacia Tett: The staff was so pleasant today. However, the CONTRACTED security guards were terrible. I attempted to tell him that he should greet people before he ENFORCES RULES. I mean a simple “good morning if you have any bottles of water etc. “PLEASE” set it on the table to your left. Instead he kept barking all these demands in a very nasty tone. I just lost my grandma Sunday so this just really disturbed me. Besides he’s just too old to be that mean. On top of him jumping in my face and waving a piece of paper in my face!! I was shocked I will definitely be reporting this issue. Then the young security guard he’s was rude but not as rude. I guess he “deescalated” the issue. If anyone knows the name of the security company or security guards that were there between (11-1 pm) today I would greatly appreciate it.

Ronda Smith: Went in Thurs for a renewal about 12:30 in the afternoon and there were only 2 people in front of me and my entire process was taken care of with my new pic less than twenty minutes. Everyone from the lady at the front desk to the lady who serviced me was nothing short of courteous, professional, and competent. I'll always come back to this location since I've always had a great experience over the years!

Mary Beth Maggio: This is the smoothest/quickest DMV i've ever been too. The first time I went by, the system was down, and the security officer let us all know what services were unavailable, which I really appreciated. While it was disappointing, it happens. SO while I was there I at least checked to ensure my documents were in order. I was glad I did, as the lease extension on its own was not accepted, so I needed to bring the original as well. I ask the woman at the desk when she recommends I come back, and she tells me 10:30 after the morning rush. I head back on Wednesday, and wait MAYBE 5 minutes, before I'm called in. 15 minutes to process my license conversion (Louisiana to DC). and then I am out the door! My recommendation to anyone coming in is to have everything printed, be over prepared (to avoid having to make a second trip) and to go mid morning if you're able. Part of what expedited my process was already having the form printed out, which put me higher up in line.

Rodrigo Gramajo: I had to renew my drivers license. I went to the DMV in Georgetown around 1pm on a Saturday. There were between 15-20 people. I was provided with the information I needed, waited for 10 min while completing a form and then a woman processed my case, reviewed my documents; she was very helpful. She was amicable and made sure I understood the next steps. The next station a young men directed me to do the knowledge test. Again, he was efficient, nice and friendly. My best visit to the DMV in 8 years! Go DMV Georgetown! Keep it like that-

Ling lly: I would like to give them 0 star. Horrible service. I got all documents to renew my license but I got declined by a lady. I left and I went to another location (Benning Ridge) directly with the same documents then I got renewed. I will never even come to Georgetown DMV again. Waste time, unhelpful, and not professional at all. P.S. she said I need to get a MD license since my mother-in-law lives there. But I live in DC.

Lior Maman: The worst service I have ever received in my life! The workers there do not care about the people! I got there to replace my Israeli license with an American license, which only requires me to take the test on a computer, in Washington DC they expect Israeli license and that is also what is written on the Internet! The workers there did not want to let me be tested because of really backward excuses! I asked to speak to their Manager, and that was the highlight! She treated me disparagingly and disgustingly, she did not care about me and more than that she had no desire at all to hear me! I went from there to another branch of dmv within 2 minutes they let me do the test, I passed and got the license! Recommend not to go to this branch, service is just awful!

Mariah Collins: Jessica was AMAZING. She tried really hard to help my husband and I with our issues. She was super friendly! But when it came to another employee Mercy, she was as rude as they come. She kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain my situation and walked off in the middle of me talking. I’ll never understand how people APPLY to work in customer service and treat people unkindly for no reason. What a nasty acting individual.

Kathryn Martin (Kate): Had a wonderful experience at this DMV! I went early on a Saturday, and couldn’t fill out the paperwork fast enough before I was seen. In and out in 30 minutes to change my name and address! The staff were friendly enough and efficient.

Stacey Gwynn: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like I have to. This was the best DMV I have been to in the D.C area.. and maybe ever! Everyone was so kind and so helpful - the customer service was outstanding!

DC DMV Adjudication Services: what do users think?

Stephanie Graves: Its clean, so thats why i gave it 2 stars but the customer service is horrible!!, i cant renew my tags because they now say i have 2 unpaid parking tickets on a car i no longer own from 2014! and i asked them how could i have registered a NEW car and renew my tags year after year if i had outstanding tickets? their response was the system is catching mistakes it missed and if you dont have a record of you paying the ticket you have to pay it !..DC DNV IS A WHOLE SCAM!!

Ameri Prayer: 👎 I give it three stars only because if you give it one star sometimes it will not show up on Google Maps reviews because they think it's spam. This is a true story: I arrived in Washington DC on January 20th after driving several thousand miles for an annual DC event. And upon arrival I had to go for a covid test at the nearby CVS medical lab near Le Enfant Plaza . I had never been to this area before & I was using Google Maps for navigation. Suddenly I realized I need to empty my bowels urgently. Unfortunately there is not a lot of public restrooms in many places as I travel so I've devised a way to take care of restroom business inside my vehicle as I travel either discreetly using a bottle or a bucket which I appropriately dispose of later. So as I was arriving at the covid testing place I realized I need to take care of bathroom business first. I pulled up to the parking meter intending to pay the meter AFTER I took care of bathroom business which would probably take 5 to 10 minutes. I figured parking enforcement wouldn't come so quickly. I was wrong. In the middle of 'taking care of business', a parking enforcement officer came up to my vehicle and gives me a $30 parking ticket. I could see through the cracks of the coverings that I put over the windows when I need privacy. Obviously I couldn't leave my vehicle and I couldn't get up and start the car or talk to her in the middle of 'doing business'. So I finished doing my duty & then I stuck my head out & told her I had just arrived ... without explaining the exact circumstances. She responded she had 'no way of knowing how long I had been here.' Nor did she offer to void the ticket. I expressed my feelings about it and that was that. However, there is a lesson to be learned: the parking officer clearly could have discerned that somebody was in the vehicle. She could also simply feel the hood to see HOW WARM is the engine to verify the car had just been turned off. Unless she is intentionally taking pleasure in reducing a person's savings, her goal should be to honestly & fairly issue tickets to those who are clearly disregarding parking rules. NOT trying to "get" people in a game of 'cat & mouse' all about seconds or a few minutes. This is NOT a basketball '3 seconds in the lane' violation. This felt like she was being zealous & vexatious. And almost like she knew I had just arrived. I was literally there only a few minutes & literally taking care of a personal emergency inside the vehicle. It just seems too coincidental that she could arrive so quickly. Do they use cameras? Was she following me ? This was BEYOND casually doing one's parking enforcement job. It was targeting. SHAME ON YOU 👎. I feel violated.

Sydney P: They are only there to lie, cheat and steal your money. The system is RIGGED‼ DC is a o e horse town that makes ALL of its 💰 🤑 off of tickets and speed traps. YOU WILL NEVER GET AN HONEST JUDGE‼

Geoff Lucas: Their photo enforced ticketing is super sus. The easy to see number on the ticket is $200 (which is the amount due after due date). The actual amount you owe is up above in the middle of other text. If you're not paying attention, my guess is that a lot of people end up submitting the doubled amount by mistake and I somehow suspect that DC doesn't end up refunding the difference. Super sus way to fill your coffers versus actually protect your citizens.

Edwin jr Melendez: This dnv service is horrible. Dc police harassed me on December 19 2020 at the corner of New York avenue. Dc police keep sending me letter's that I did not do. I was harassed and robbed by dc police. I don't prefer new York avenue police to anyone.

LaKeesha Gardner: I must admit, I was not looking forward to going to this building and interacting with the staff. However, I was very wrong in my assumptions. The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and had great customer service. I thought I would encounter a frustrated staff with lots of attitude. That was just the opposite. I'm from DC and unfortunately, sometimes the services received are sub-par, but this was not my experience today. Great experience. Thank you ladies and gentlemen. Also there were no long wait times and it was very clean and safe.

Alex Infante: Based on my admittedly limited experience with adjudication services, hearing examiners appear to lack basic reading comprehension skills.

Not Robotic MikeMike: Horrible "public service." Like a used car dealership but its the government! They are not trying to help you, the DMV is out to get you, any way it can. The citizen/customer is always wrong. A good reason to move out of DC!

Jamaica Harvey: Mrs masey reallly helped me at this lpcations , I appreciate you so much

el maestro: Friday's afternoon are the best. In and out within 20minutes tops, thank you everyone keep up the awesome work you all are doing.!!!

DC DMV - Benning Ridge Service Center: what do users think?

Luisa Parra: Amazing service! This is the best DMV I’ve been to in all the D.C, Virginia and Maryland area. It was fast and attentive. Everyone was very kind and respectful. This was my best experience going to a DMV! I won’t feel stressed anymore about doing any paperwork DMV related because I’ll be coming back to this location !

elaine ross: Everything was fine good works just moved in area fast service customer service was awesome in out no problems Thanks

Nance Nance: Fast service and we went around 1:30 in the afternoon we were out before 2pm. I followed the lunch hours so avoid a long wait. Bathroom is super clean at this location, this meant alot because I am pregnant.

Jacqueline Smallwood: Ms. R. Mathis @the Benning road location was a true blessing. I appreciate people who care about the people.

Miguel Ordonez: Very bad customer services, i went today 4/5/22, to get my wife ID. The person who was in the reception told us, to come back, with a 6 month old bill, we did, we had bring that bill, and we get overthere another person took our papers work and told us difrent ting and finally we couldn't get nothing,

Lauren James: Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The staff went above and beyond. I was in and out in 40 minutes!! Such a seamless process.

Moni Rich: I was in there for maybe 20 minutes. The service was fast and I got everything I needed. Maybe it was the day I went, which was a Tuesday but my number was called within 5 minutes of receiving it. It's the quickest service I've ever received from any DMV!

Joyce Jones: My visit was horrible. There was only 5 employees working and that work station from number 1-16. The employees were constantly talking to their co-workers. One employee sit at her computer and did not assist one resident for at least 10 minutes. For every one resident serviced there was at least a 5 minute wait before that station called another number. There was no social distancing. After asking an employee how the numbers were called she stated it was based on the residents that had w as cited the longest. After waiting for one hour I left. I did not get the sense that the employees really wanted to help the resident.

Marcela Melbon: I was extremely nervous for this appointment. I only chose this location because it was the only thing available, even though it’s a bit out of the way. I was scheduled to transfer out of state license and registration. The process wash extremely easy and fast. The worker who helped me was so nice and patient. I know the DMV (overall) has a bad rep for poor service, but this was not the case here! My appointment was at 8:30 AM and I was done by 9:10 AM! I thought the vehicle would be inspected at the time (my fault for not reading the instructions thoroughly) but the worker who helped me provided me with ALL the information I needed. She didn’t even seemed annoyed when I asked her the same questions over and over! She was so sweet! Even the security guards there were so helpful and polite. Definitely going back to this location in the future!

CARLA LAWSON: Saturday was a good day to go their, no line between 12 and 2pm closes at 4. My only problem was the customer service on the phone gave wrong information out. Get to the counter and was told needed more information. What happened to apply for your Identification card and get it in your hand, no you have to wait 45 days to get it in the mail. Bring back some retirees who knows the job, these new recruits are young and not remembering what they learned, need more customer service skills.

wayne burrell: I would like to take this time to thank Ms. Rene for her outstanding customer services. Ms. Rene let me know all the important information I needed. She has a caring approach and she is a true professional. I would especially like to commend for her professionalism and superlative skills. Ms. Rene thank you. You really made my day on 3/16/2022.

MyGoogle Profile: A very bad experience, to be sure. Parking is atrocious, to be sure, but that arguably is not the fault of the store. But when you walk inside, its just them. And I was struck by the level of dismissive rudeness, and talking down to that the counter staff lady showed. The process is complicated when you move from another state, and these people become hostile when you ask questions!!! There is no justification for the level of hate that they have for customers - you know the ones of us with the oney!! NEVER GO HERE

Zhanai Height: Callie is amazing. I was going thru a crisis the past few days. And she helped me get thru it, honestly it would not be possible with out her! My mom has been going to her for yearsss. Great and timely service. If I could leave 10 stars I would.

Jacqueline Jemison: I’ve always gone straight to the MVA for needs but with their 2 weeks out appointment slots, I tried this spot. It was a great, efficient experience. The owner was nice, explained what I needed and pretty much made the process painless. Highly recommend!

J D: Positive: ProfessionalismWas quick and painless. Lady took good care of me. I had a permanent registration with disabled veteran tags. They were able to transfer them over to a vehicle I purchased in North Carolina while I waited. No issues.
Response: Thanks for the new feedback - we really appreciate it!

Gwen Tildon: Super friendly service, and crazy fast. Never braving the MVA again. I had a title issue that I thought was going to be a nightmare but they sorted it out quickly and were obviously very knowledgeable. Friendly and professional and excellent pandemic protocols in place. I wish more businesses were this courteous and obviously concerned about the health and well-being of both their customers and employees.

Daniel Calder: Had a great experience here on Friday. Very quick and responsive service. My issue with my title for my new vehicle was very involved and I can't even imagine what it would have been like if I had tried to deal with this at the MVA. It was sorted out quickly and professionally by the staff at Tags2Go. it isn't just about being easier than the MVA it's about understanding the details and intricacies of the titling process. It's crazy complicated and I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep me on the road legally.

Kathy Byrd: I'm very pleased with the expert and professional service that I received from the young ladies at Tags2Go. I'm so thankful that they have been open and available throughout the shut down, I've used them a few times. They have stayed busy, but the wait is never too long - much much better than MVA. I will never go to MVA and stand in lines again. They are professionally addressing social distancing and sanitizing the store. I felt safe in the store.

Rona Ramoutar: This title and registration place was perfect. I was in and out in 15-20 minutes. I was able to handle all my registration and title needs for my car quickly and in one visit. The woman at the counter was super polite and informative. The social distancing and sanitary procedures here were great. They provided sanitizer at the door and only maintained no more than 2-3 people at a time (including the rep). It wasn't busy when I went and the wait wasn't too long. I'd be happy to come back here in the future.

Beth C: My husband and I arrived at this location 5 minutes before they are scheduled to be opened for business. The door was already opened and we were greeted by the person behind the counter name, Kelly. Kelly gave us a superb service. She was very pleasant to talk to about our vehicle tags situation. She was a great listener and very professional with a nice smile the entire time. If you are looking to get your automobile tags and title service- you should consider going to Tags2Go in Ft Washington, Md. Outstanding Service!!! Thank you.

Arlington County DMV Select: what do users think?

Rebecca Sande: I would give this DMV no stars if possible. I would recommend going to any other DMV in Virginia before this one. For a year, I was unable to get my car registered because every time I went in the employees (including management) said I needed different paperwork. I had probably 7 different appointments and each time I was told I needed something different from what I was told the last time. I spent almost a year going back and forth with them, my car title company, jumping through hoops for notarized documents and other “required” documents. Each time I asked “after I get this, is this all you’ll need from me?” To which EACH TIME they said “yes”. The last time I went and they told me they required “one more document” from my loan company and I was so frustrated I decided to go to another DMV all together. Yesterday I went to the DMV in Woodbridge and I wish I could go back to last year and start there. I handed the worker the packet of paper work I’ve accumulated over the past year and she looked through it and replied “I’m sorry but you don’t need ANY OF THIS.” And I was able to get my car registered and the title signed over to me right there. So the DMV in Arlington wasted a year of my time for no reason other than they don’t know how to do their jobs. I was charged late registration fees on my vehicle because they swore they couldn’t register it without 30 separate documents. Literally just go anywhere else. Any other DMV. Save yourself the headache.

Concerned Citizen: Came here with my wife before closing on a Wednesday afternoon. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, even made jokes with customers. Only complaint was they registered my car in the wrong county and I now have to deal with figuring out how to get it registered correctly. Otherwise, a shockingly good experience overall.

Araya Caba: appointment only, I came on a Tuesday! But, the security was nice! He was able to schedule me an appointment at the Springfield location.

L L: THIS PLACE IS CLOSED!! With that being said the security guard was really nice and did give some helpful information. I ended up going to the DMV Select in Orange, VA about an hour and a half from Falls Church. They open at 8:30 but people start lining up between 4-6 am.

Kay C: When security guards recieve more complements than behind the counter staff that tells u something . Also when will u guys accept electronic copies of documents . In this digital age asking for paper copies and not being able to provide basic printing services Instore is just plain dumb.

Amanda Delp: Had to return my license plates after getting rid of my car. This DMV select location had SUCH helpful staff who were SO efficient, friendly, and courteous. Very willing to double-check things were squared away for me, and even with that, I was in and out in 7 minutes (counting the practically non-existent line). NOT EVEN REMOTELY COMPARABLE to my experiences over the last few years with the large DMV customer service centers.

John Gregal: Some of these reviewers don’t know how good they have it. I grew up in DC during the Marion Barry years. Mayor for Life’s dmv had lines that were hours long and you didn’t get out of that place in under 5 hours. Arlington has their sh!t together, this place rocks. Half the tax rate and 10 times the service, I’m never going back.

Kevin Phillips: Hate to let the secret out but you can basically do any DMV business here except for licenses, so there's basically no reason to head to the full fledged DMV unless you love waiting in lines and disgruntled employees. I went to DMV select today to transfer some old customized plates to my new car and it took 3 minutes and the woman at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Great experience, so so so much better than 4 mil run!

xiaoming zhu: If I could choose 0 star then I would. The office staff who worked at road test window had attitude problem and very unprofessional. We were there at least five minutes before our appointment time and patiently waited at the long line. When we approached the window, the staff was unhappy and rude because she called our number twice, and our appointment was the last one of the day. The staff apparently was ready to go home and not wanted to take another road test, therefore the male staff asked us to provide document that was not required by Virginia regulation - we were asked to provide certification of our valid foreign drivers license, which has dual languages including English, from Embassy. Because of this unreasonable and unlawful requirement, our scheduled road test was denied which caused us wasting of our half day of working time and created unnecessary burden.

Sabrina Martin: Security was very polite and nice. This location is closed and he was nice enough to tell me about 2 other locations that are open. However you should schedule a appt during covid-19 times.

District of Columbia Motor Vehicle Inspection Station: what do users think?

DC Explorer: Went here on Thurdsay, June 16, 2022 and there was no line. The service was great. They have changed the process and you stay with your car now---you don't go inside. I still wish there were multiple inspection stations throughout the city, but at least this one is good.

antidepressant scale: Travelled an hour to the location. Apparently, there's only one in DC. And apparently, you operate on a first come, first serve basis. Not sure how that's supposed to be anything other than an exercise in frustration for everyone. And apparently, today, it's closed for the holiday. What holiday. Seriously, what holiday is it? I searched; it's National Go Fishing day. Are you closed for National Go Fishing day? Waste of time, surely a governmental agency can get their open hours updated on google? Guess that would just make too much sense.

Lindsey Rivera: I was worried that this was going to take a long time. Went on a Friday morning at 8am and was in and out in about 5 minutes. Everyone is super nice too!

Kim Barr: It was a fast process and all the staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions that I asked.

Vivian Kim: Super efficient. Went on Wednesday 7:45 and was in and out by 7:50. You guys rock!

Jen Rhodes: They are super nice! Mr. Herbert Jones and Deangelo Baucum got me out in 10 minutes and they are funny and informative. Great job y’all keep up the great work!

Delainey Boyd: Updating this review to emphasize how amazing they are here! Drove right up at 12pm on a Friday, was in and out in 3 minutes. The crew is kind and I actually look forward to this knowing it will be so easy! Paired with the Georgetown DMV, DC makes anything related to a car easy peasy. — Old review: Went at 1pm on a Saturday, drove straight up and was done in under 10 minutes! The crew is so nice and funny, they always make this chore an easy one.

Jonathan Kaufman: Whole process was so quick and easy, and the staff competent and courteous. If the District insists on making everyone go down to a single location for inspection, then we can't ask for better service than this.

M G: So fast and efficient! Maybe spent 6 minutes there. By far the best operation in DC government.

Corey Lynch: Just went to get my truck inspected and both gentlemen were very friendly and helpful.

U.S. Department of Transportation: what do users think?

Carol Macinnes: Very excited about the Tampa Heights project recently approved by USDOT. It is much needed for replacing water pipes, connecting communities divided by I275 through improved transit opportunities, inceasing the safety of intersections, creating bike lanes and Smart Streets. A wonderful investment that will help this area thrive again. Thank you all at USDOT and to the leadership of Secretary Buttigieg and his teams.

badu jabar: Roads policing laws outdated , today's laws can't dissuade anyone. Driving across America is chaotic, wreckless, agressive, dangerous, deadly & nothing is done. We're desensitized to deaths on the road. It's become a spectacle rather than a tragedy. Police cruisers make little difference. We can catch toll cheaters but we can't catch driving offenders. Technology could help, why not use it ? Better roads when unpoliced lead to more risk taking , more deaths.& poor quality of living. We fight for space rather than share it . People will do what they can get away with. DO SOMETHING

Darin James: Great to see USDOT, under the leadership of Secretary Buttigieg, effectively implementing the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Laura Montes: Under Secretary Pete Buttigieg Transportation Department is now well known and has increased its profile.

Buffi Buckley: Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the entire department are getting things done for us. Infrastructure finally means something again.

Bobbie Jansen: I’m so glad there’s finally someone who understands that transportation is about people!

Emily Loats: I love Pete Buttigieg!! Best secretary of Transportation ever!!

Sydney Steinberg: Secretary Pete Buttigieg doing a great job.

Jenn Harder: Secretary Buttigieg is doing a fantastic job!

Functional Van Conversion: Front desk is courteous, but as a tax payer don't expect to be able to go in and discuss issues at this building. Closed to the public who pays for it, that is unless you are invited in. Interesting...... I have been waiting two weeks for a response from an Aileen in Miami who is in charge of noise pollution along DOT roadways nation wide. I have two voicemails and an email and no response as of yet. I am asking for a phone call back, when I drove across the country to try to share my concerns. Public feedback must not be important........

US Treasury Department: what do users think?

David Behbahani: This place should be the real white house to be honest. It looks cooler for one,and it pretends Alexander Hamilton was better George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, so they have that whole delusion thing going on. Good for them.

Ahmad ahmad elghetany: The Department of the Treasury (USDT)is the national treasury and finance department of the federal government of the United States where it serves as an executive department. The department oversees the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and the U.S. Mint; these two agencies are responsible for printing all paper currency and coins, while the treasury executes its circulation in the domestic fiscal system. The USDT collects all federal taxes through the Internal Revenue Service; manages U.S. government debt instruments; licenses and supervises banks and thrift institutions; and advises the legislative and executive branches on matters of fiscal policy. The department is administered by the secretary of the treasury, who is a member of the Cabinet. The treasurer of the United States has limited statutory duties, but advises the Secretary on various matters such as coinage and currency production. Signatures of both officials appear on all Federal Reserve notes. Established by an Act of Congress in 1789 to manage government revenue, the first secretary of the treasury was Alexander Hamilton, sworn into office on September 11. Hamilton was appointed by President George Washington on the recommendation of Robert Morris, Washington's first choice for the position, who had declined the appointment. Hamilton established the nation's early financial system and for several years was a major presence in Washington's administration. The office is thus customarily referred to as "Treasury", solely, without any preceding article, as a remnant of the country's transition from British to American English during the late 18th century. Hamilton's portrait appears on the obverse of the ten-dollar bill, while the Treasury Department building is depicted on the reverse. The current secretary of the treasury is Janet Yellen, who was confirmed by the United States Senate on January 25, 2021. Jovita Carranza, appointed on April 28, 2017, was the incumbent treasurer, until January 15, 2020, when she left the office.

Maricela Chavez Ruiz: Gorgeous place to contemplate the beautiful history of the United States of America!

sugar 404: Beautiful building! Right next to the White House as well!

Elisabeth Zulkosky: I was speaking to someone about a trace number asking questions since I had a wrong number for it and in the middle of it she stated I was wrong, needed to contact my bank again and hung up the phone as I was in the middle of a question. Very rude and disappointed since this is a government organization.

Sam Buck: Gorgeous building with so much historical significance right next to The White House!

David Ryan: Beautiful building next to The White House

Urban Traveler: Lovely building just right by the White House

DJ H: I wish that there were tours of the US Treasury. There are tours of many other Federal Government buildings so why not this one? This is a famous building that many people do not realize is on the back of the US $10 bill. This is a very picturesque building. It is conveniently located by the White House in Washington DC.

Aman Mishra: One of the best place to visit in USA 🙂🙂

Office of Authentications: what do users think?

Willem Koenders: Afraid that I had a bad experience. We sent in a simple certificate of naturalization to be apostilled, which after a number of weeks still wasn't done. Then you have to call to get a status update, where you have to come prepared with ~10 data points on your request or they won't even talk to you. But even worse, when trying to call, you can only call between 9am and 3pm. So trying to do that, been on hold for ~2 hours, without any sort of indication how many people are ahead of me or estimated remaining waiting time. Do these people think I don't have a job to do during the day - should I just take the whole day off just to be able to call for a status update?

Grammy Henderson: I am not sure where to go or who to ask I am trying to get a birth certificate I was born in Ho chI min city Vietnam and nobody can seem to help me does anybody on here have any clue up to where or how I can get a birth certificate from Vietnam

Zoey K: I'm wondering if anybody is working at this place. I mailed my FBI background check for authentication almost three months ago. I have been tracking the return mail everyday, but I haven't received it yet. I tried to call several times, but no one answered and someone just hung up on me right after answered one time. Finally I needed to cancel my plans and I wasted $70. I understand that they are working with limited number of employees during this pandemic, but they should have stated expected time line exactly on their website; so, people do not waste their money and time. Also, there should be a online status check if no one wants to answer the phone.

Eugenio Quantro-Plaga: When are they planning to reopen or at least have more people working? I completely support being Covid safe, but they have been closed for over a year and this is an essential service for most visa applications to be processed. In the case of Spain the background check with apostille has to be three months old or less in order to be valid. If it takes this office 3 months to issue the apostille that means it will automatically be invalid by the time the person recieves it. To make matters worse this is the only place you can get your FBI background check apostilled.

Mihow McKenny: In early April, I sent a document in order to receive an apostille for it. The office confirmed receipt quickly. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone gave me a clear estimate of the total processing time, which is 2-3 months.

Travis Jones: I got my document back after 3.5 months - so it's no longer valid. The guy who answered the phone was nice enough, but they're understaffed and overwhelmed. I suggest that you check the vaccine schedule for DC and Loudon County, VA to see when they're allowed to start going back to the office, or call them and check.

Dan Hickman: These reviews are unjust. I operate an apostille service and request FBI Background Check Apostille services almost every day; therefore, I call the authentication office often and the employees are always very nice, helpful and friendly. The long delays in 2020 are obviously not their fault and they have no ability to add more staff, increase hours, etc. This group is working long hours to get things done, and I am appreciative of their hard work!

Veronica Harvey: I mailed in my documents to be apostilled on May 27th, and received them back about one month later at the end of June. Definitely a long processing time but they came back to me. I left a ton of messages and they did finally return my call and leave me a voicemail. They're still open, but operations are much slower.

Aashna Virmani: The worst experience ever with the Office of Auth. They are not professional at all and representatives hang up on you that’s if you can ever get to them. They have wasted my time and I hope I never have to deal with them ever again in my life. Unfriendly and rude staff who don’t care about you or the situation that you may be in because of delays from their end. With so many bad reviews I’m shocked nothing is being done about this. There should be an option to give 0 star in google reviews.

Cristina Muñoz: I've been waiting almost 3 months for an Apostille. I don't blame the employees, they are as much victims of this pandemic as anyone else, but the systemic failures of our federal government to meet the needs of its citizenry in a time of crisis is a travesty. No one answers the phone, and no way to get status updates.

Connie Worley: This service experience was DEPLORABLE! Unfriendly, discourteous, originally told by HEALTH REGULATION/ licensing registration- Miss Rawls- re:reinstating of my nursing license (- 40 plus years! BTW ) had been told All could be accomplished in one visit there Including CBC. I had all documents in order-! Then after paying was told had to have CBC ELSEWHERE. Bottom line- received NO COPIES OF WHAT I WAS required to bring. Got a receipt for $ 230. Dollars- PERIOD! Am requesting a reply for robotic service. Connie Worley, RN- a patient caring/ stellar career/ MAJOR CHARACTER

Salatta Shenanigans: INCREDIBLY difficult to contact anyone to get needed information if it can't be accessed via the web, and getting my license took MANY months because instead of going through my application as a whole a listing out the various issues, they would take 2 weeks to get back to me on what was wrong. I would fix it, send it back. 4 weeks later I would hear back from them "This minor thing is wrong, please fix such and such" Okay, send it back in. AGAIN "This other thing is wrong, please fix such and such" WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THE FIRST TIME DON'T YA THINK??!! Prepare yourself for EXTREME incompetence from a typical government agency if you hope to interact with the DC board.

Christine Malati: Very organized and responsive during the licensing process.

Ayen Salima: DC BON, the staffers are very professional and personal. They are friendly and genuinely caring.

U.S. Small Business Administration - Washington Metropolitan District: what do users think?

Jean Gleason: Representatives ignore emails and are unprofessional. They get upset when you ask them too many questions about your loan. They are lazy. They forget our small businesses keep them employed.

Steve McKay: Been waiting on EIDL assistance for close to a year. Every few months they ask for same documents, so I resend several times. I check in with them every month or so on status, nothing new. Today I call for status "Sir it is YOUR FAULT the request is taking so long. You need to call us every few days. We don't have to time to call everyone." Typical government worker. SBA will save non tax paying churchs but not struggling small businesses.

Steve McKay: Critical: Professionalism, ResponsivenessI've been waiting over 11 months for EIDL, they wont tell my why it is taking so long. No one responds to multiple emails and phone support refuses to escalate to a tier 2 person to look it over. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm sure all of the non-tax paying churches that received PPP/EIDL love you though.

Rose Merree: May 28 2019 it doesn't matter what response the SBA is given it will not look into the matter. May 22 2019 I added a copy of the letter sent to me. My reason for the 2 star review is because I'm waiting to see what the SBA Ombudsman does. Because the CFPB didn't do it's job I can't hire people. People don't work for free. When a bank decides to keep a business's funding for itself, job creation becomes impossible. I sent my records to the National Ombudsman who is having the SBA Ombudsman looking at all of the damage the CFPB caused my businesses because the CFPB did not do it's job. When the SBA Ombudsman responds I will adjust this rating up or down.

kassahun workneh: They denied my application with out enough reason. I am individual cab driver and i don't have any office working with YC DC and of course when i apply for grant they denied my application in two reasons 1) that my business address is not in low income area. ( i told them that i don't have office ). 2) that i have unpaid child support fee which is completely wrong because i never have that kind of issue in general they don't want help so disappointed.

Celebrating Singularities LLC.: Been approved and waiting for my deposit for nearly 6 months now. In This time I’ve lost just about everything I worked 6 years to get. The SBA has broken my spirit for small business. My experience with the SBA has been so alienating and damaging to my life that their is no way the SBA has an updated policy for disaster response. I’m just waiting on a deposit. No one knows the answer. Their seems to be a mystery around my application that no one in the United States can solve. I’ve talked to at least 10 people working at the SBA none of them had an answer to my problem and none of them sought to endeavor to find an answer. The sba is trash

j.alexander.clark: The SBA 8(a) Program fails help small veteran and minority businesses like mine across the U.S. For more than a year I have been working with this office in D.C. as well as individuals in San Francisco, CA office and these offices have perpetually provided vague, canned, untimely, and inaccurate information on how to get my Service Disable Veteran Owned / HubZone Business to be 8(a) certified. This type of stagnation actually hurts businesses like mine as the application process is lengthy and time-consuming and takes small businesses away from producing revenue. Over the coming months I will be reaching out to companies like mine to collect information on their experiences as well as providing a short video on my year with the SBA.

Aaron Cordovez: The SBA is a gem for US businesses to grow. The tools are fantastic and funding vital for expansion. Other countries are not as lucky as us, with the help that we get from this great organization.

Mike Smith: Bunch of lazy people. Takes forever to get a reconsideration Loan. The customer service reps are terrible ask for supervisor or tier 2 rep. Shame on the SBA!

Charlotte C: Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ResponsivenessThe answer desk is not helpful at all. They did not have answers to any of my basic questions and tried to reroute my call to another department as soon as possible. The man that I just spoke with hung up on me after I waited on hold for 30 minutes. Very unprofessional.

DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education: what do users think?

rhondadc: Some very nice and professional staff members that works on the school buses. But it lacks a lot of structure. Sometimes they don't come, come late or fail to follow their own policies. Not well organized

Queen Brittany: The tete group hired me for a project. If this was to represent OSSE - i feel discouraged for my students and youth and DC residents. Project was very unorganized, quickly put together and not held with high standards! Please look into this!-

Swagstay Athome: I was never helped in a complaint i made about a S.E. D.C.P.S elementary school that had a crooked MPD officer who wife works there, had people gaslighting me and harassing my daughter with lesbian words to upset us with those lies all in a vilification-campaign towards me as a formal ANC 7e-04 just because of retaliation for some one I complained about in the MPD for slandering my character. Some one here never took my complaints seriously! I love D.C. but this hate has to stop!

Kenneth Howard: They make higher ed possible for DC Residents!

Kim Wagner Spiritualist: Very kind and helpful
