Logan Hardware: what do users think?

Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!
Response: Emily, thanks so much for the kind words! We love knowing that Logan Ace Hardware is able to provide you with great customer service, products, and more! We truly value your input and look forward to seeing you again soon. And so do our plants!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

Jim Parrett: Went there to get glass cut and paint matched. l was pleasantly surprised how helpful and courteous the whole staff were. They were able to take care of what I needed so I could finish my project. Thank you!!!
Response: We’re so glad to hear this Jim- thank you for trusting our team with your DIY needs. And thank you for shopping and supporting our employee owned store!

Aja Navat: Friendly staff and large selection of things. It is two floors.
Response: Aja, thanks for the great review! We love that your Logan Ace Hardware experience is a good one! Thanks for sharing, shopping local, and spreading the word about all that our employee-owned store has to offer. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Jacob Goo: So this is super weird but they sell the best cream soda at the counter. I love ace for being small hardware with a little bit of everything. Thx!
Response: Dear Jacob, we're delighted to hear about your experience at Logan Hardware and so glad you love our cream soda! Thanks for shopping local and we look forward to seeing you soon!

John Trissel: Good hardware store! parking may be challenging. They have a good selection for most small projects and gardening needs
Response: Dear John, thanks for the kind words! We are glad that you find what you need at Logan Ace Hardware. We know you have choices when you shop, and we truly value your business. Thanks for shopping local at our employee-owned store! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Greg Amiker: Multiple Floors, with a little bit of everything that you need for yout home or Project. Whether it's Plants, Plumbing, or Electrical its a one stop shop with knowledgeable staff.
Response: Hi Greg. Thanks for the wonderful review! We promise to continue being your trusted ally for everything home.

Mark Frank: They probably have what you need, and there's nice people there to help you find it! A bit pricey but that's to be expected in this area.
Response: Thanks Mark! Love to hear we can get you the products you need with the convenience of being in the neighborhood. We hope you'll stop by and see us again soon.

Robert Bolen: This store is full of caring people and fantastic tools. On two separate occasions, Jorje has gone above and beyond to help me find the perfect solution. It is wonderful to have a local place where experts provide guidance in a kind, nonjudgmental manner.
Response: This is the best review we can hope for - it means a lot when our customers reach out about our staff and store. Thank you for shopping and supporting local at our store, have a wonderful holiday season!

True Value On 17th: what do users think?

Martha Wilson: I have been coming here for years. Staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful. It’s quite well stocked, considering it’s a small hardware store. I’m so glad they made it through the Covid closures here in DC. The store is a fixture in our community. I love it!
Response: Thank you for you kind comments!

Bob Hourigan: I've loved this place since it was called Twomeys. A neighborhood staple. Friendly staff always willing to help.
Response: Thank you Bob!

Katie Ambrose: I honestly love shopping here. Their selection is great and the people are so nice and helpful. You can tell they really care and take pride in the store. Also their prices are reasonable! I go here for hardware, plants, kitchen items, quick gifts - everything!
Response: Katie, thank you for the wonderful review.

Marshall King: Funky little hardware store. Employees are top notch, without them I’m not sure who could navigate the store.
Response: Thank you Marshall, John

Javier Ruiz: Increíble, this store have of all..... Fantastic!! and good products and prices. Thanks True Value!!!
Response: Thanks for the 5 Stars Javier! John Spalding, Owner

William Rodriguez: This is my SPOT! I used to run around all over town trying to find different odds and ends offered at specific stores. Then I stumbled on True Value on 17th which seems to have everything I could ever need and quickly became my one stop shop. Feels like I'm in this store just about every weekend. I was treated like family (with great customer service) on day one and that continues to be the same experience with every visit since. Have actually come to enjoy seeing the same people on every visit and catching up. The staff is not only friendly and conversational, but also very knowledgeable. These folks have advised me on mounting curtains, replacing a bathroom sink, removing graffiti, patching a hole in the wall, painting, plant care and countless other household projects/hobbies. I could go on and on raving but I'll stop there. You'll have to stop in and experience it for yourself!
Response: Hello William, Thank you for your wonderful review! John Spalding, Owner

Tricia Hooper: This place is like Narnia for everything you need for your home! I don’t know how they fit their extensive inventory so perfectly in such a small place, but it’s like magic. I have yet to go in and not be able to find what I need. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Such a great local business - who needs Amazon when you have everything you need down the street at True Value?!
Response: Tricia, I really appreciate your comments! Thank you, John Spalding, Owner

Paul Durbin: Great staff. I’ve gone to this hardware store at least 100 times. They make eye contact and ask what I need help with, without fail. They all seem to jump in to cover any duty. If a register is occupied, one of the staff will quickly ask to take me at another one. I’ve never had to search for help and I’ve never had to wait in line.
Response: Thank you Paul, I appreciate the feedback! John

Rujwan: This place is great! It's nice to have a hardware store nearby, but this store offers so much more! The have a nursery, which doesn't surprise me, kitchen ware, cleaning supplies, and so much more. On top of that, they're all really friendly.

Sara: Very well-stocked local hardware store! Something for everyone here, and they have quite a few home decor options. Got a mounted key holder here as well as some screws - everyone was very friendly.
Response: Hello Sara, thank you for the compliments, John Spalding, Owner

The Home Depot: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: I missed all of the after Christmas saw items. This location had a few products left over from Christmas but nothing I really wanted. Overall the store was neat and organized. I didn’t need any additional items for this trip, just preparing for next years holiday decorations.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Great shops for home goods, this is very big shop i have been going that HomeDepot for many years i was there very first day when they opened, biggest problem is coustmer service is very bad here i stud for help for more than 20 minutes before someone showed up.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Home Depot is very convenient if you’re in the Rhode Island/Brentwood NE DC Area. They offer a verity of products that can help you with your Lawn, Garden, Appliances, Painting, Outdoor Patio, Home Improvement, Cleaning Products, Tools/Equipment Rentals and many many more. I really Appreciate the help from a young male staff who was working in the Garden/Mulch area, he was very Helpful and Knowledgeable with assisting me with the products along with a young female cashier on the inside of the store. Now you can never get the help you need when you’re in the store aisles. Every time you asked a staff member who’s in the same aisle as you. Can you help me with something? Their reply seems to be, I don’t work over here and they don’t know who can help you..!!! Home Depot needs better training for their staff who’s working in the store aisles..

Jeff Rueckgauer: Needed a red 10 cup Brita pitcher. App says there is 1 in stock. Not on the shelf. 4 associates said they couldn't help but would page someone for the aisle. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to at least arrive, even if they have to look further. This HD had been really good for many years. The pandemic is no excuse for just unhelpful people and plainly unconcerned, inept management.

Rickey Anderson: I went to the Rhode Island Avenue store it was good. What would made it excellent if their stock was current with the website. They didn't have it even though the computer said they did have it. The item was Sphagnum moss. Happy that I was able to find a few other items

Bailey Cage: Unfortunately this was the first time I’ve been to a Home Depot where the staff was completely unknowledgeable. I had spent hours online trying to research the best products / methods for tiling my second-story concrete subfloor with no definitive answers, so I decided to head to the store and find someone to help me. Normally Home Depot workers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but whoever they sent back to flooring to help me seemed to know nothing. He was able to show me where items were on the aisle, but he couldn’t answer a single question about how to tile my floor or what the differences and pros/cons in products were. It was incredibly frustrating and unhelpful, and I ended up leaving with a couple hundred dollars of products I later had to return. What truly upset me is that I did some more research once I got home just to find out the answer I was looking for is common knowledge in construction, but as someone doing a DIY project, I just didn’t know what terms I had to search for. For a Home Depot employee - the flooring specialist - to not know this is astounding.

jamesbowdenjr: This is the worst Home Depot is in the entire country. I am trying to get a door, but the store is unresponsive, the management is inept and provides no additional assistance, the associates are extremely slow, unknowledgeable of the products. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I do not recommend this store. Please go to another Home Depot location.

Anna Lloyd: Desmond in the home and garden went out of his way to help us find something that 4 different employees had just shrugged their shoulders and said that even though it was available online they were probably out. Desmond knew exactly where it was and showed us himself, even though it was on the complete other side of the store. He really took customer service to the next level.

DAVID GILL: paint dept vert slow. When paint was done I was not told it was done. I came up to the counter and stood there waiting while emotes helped others. After 10 minutes he pointed at can. I said is that mine he looked at me like Duh.

Chanpen Tee: I came here for the kitchen cabinets project. The lady is so helpful and friendly. She takes her time explaining all the questions we have.

Lowe's Home Improvement: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: Great discounts on Christmas items as part of the holiday sale. I picked up Christmas stockings for under $5.00. There were fire pits on clearance as well. I like this location and they generally have the items I’m in need of for repairs or decorations, etc. The staff is very helpful as well.

Stuart Miles-McLean: I don't like all the self check out lines which are killing jobs. They did have things I was looking for in the wild bird and critter section, but it appears they need more employees -- all over the store -- to keep the inventory organized and properly shelved and labeled. The employees I did encounter were very helpful and friendly; it just looked like they need more of them.

Kev- keepingitreal: This location offers a variety of affordable items for your home improvement needs. I really appreciate the staff in the aisle for assisting me with finding items on my check list. At check out the cashier was welcoming and friendly. This store was very clean and offers plenty of parking.

Jessica Fullington: Today I went to the garden center for some outside plants. Yolanda was so very helpful! She was able to answer my questions, she even went and got me a cart so that it was easier for me to get the items I purchased to my car. It is so refreshing to have people who are pleasant and helpful at their jobs I will definitely come back to this location to get all the plants I need this spring! Marla was very helpful as well along with the young man who answered some of my questions about my plans. All around a wonderful experience!

goklt: Lots of materials here. Check out was fast. However good luck asking for assistance. Lots of associates are walking around but not helping customers. I tracked an employee down for assistance in moving materials from a high shelf to store level in the door section. He called two times for assistance to my aisle but no one came and he advised going to customer service. They called and still no help. Had to track somone down in a different department altogether. Crazy.

Chase Johnson: The employees here are courteous. But the wood cutting service they claim to offer is not available when needed. The store should just be candid that wood cutting won’t be available (or at the very least won’t be available at any specific time). I am a local DIYer (not a contractor). Before I bought wood I asked about cutting and was told it was no problem—buy it and then request a cut. I did. I was then told the lumber associate wasn’t available for an hour. I couldn’t get the wood (a single sheet of plywood I needed to cut in half) into my car, so I waited. After an hour, there was still no lumber associate, so the wood was never cut.

N R: Terrible customer service. Returning an item took 3 months of repeated calls to schedule a pickup and even when Lowe's had the item back multiple calls were needed to secure the refund. Such a hassle, so worth avoiding! The third party delivery service that they use doesn't turn up in the agreed time slots so it's very easy to miss them and then get stuck in the web of calls that are required to reschedule.

Annie Signorelli: I ordered a dishwasher with professional installation and the process from start to finish was completely nontransparent and unprofessional. The installation had to be rescheduled because the dishwasher wasn’t pulled down for pick up in time, and then when it was installed it was the incorrect dishwasher — not even the right brand. After several hours on the phone with the Lowes installation line, including being told multiple times that they couldn’t advance the process because they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at their own Lowes store, I called the store directly and was able to sort it out and get the installation rescheduled. A Lowes associate later told me that they don’t have the “luxury” of waiting on hold with the store which is what I had to do in order to ensure my order was completed. Finally the correct dishwasher was installed on the third attempt and I was told I could contact the installation line again to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Again it took multiple attempts to even get an update on where my case stood, despite being told every time that I should expect a call back “by end of business” every day I called. When I finally got offered compensation it was for less than half of the amount I requested (I requested the installation service be refunded seeing as it took 3 attempts and I was the one having to set everything up because Lowes did not follow through). While I am satisfied with the product I am in disbelief at how difficult and unprofessional the process was with Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing appliances from installation from this store or using the Lowes installation services.

Conchita Coney: Excellent but one of the employees didn't know what he was talking about whereas getting parts for a 2019 torro self-repellent lawn mower. He told my husband and I to go to store name Grainger on MD 202 they are either closed or permanently shut down.

Elizabeth Ramming: Assistance was top notch!! The gentlemen working there were very polite and helped me a lot with specific questions. HOWEVER-- However, I needed lumber, a 1X6 piece. What they had in stock was WET. But oh! I found 2 dry pieces at the bottom. But alas, don't be happy for me. Those pieces were warped in both directions - both along the length and width. That's it. So, shut up and buy it, or fight DC traffic to go someplace else. Both of those options were the absolute WORST. Why was the wood wet amd warped?? ... Duhhh. How utterly stupid.

Washington Framers' Workroom: what do users think?

Jenise Hight: I have had several artifacts from various destinations framed at Framer's Workroom. They have a great selection of frames, mats and fabrics and provide great customer support with design suggestions to create the best presentation. I have been very please, will continue to do business with them, and recommend to others.
Response: Thank you very much for your kind words as well as the photographs of your framed pieces that you published on Google. It is very gratifying to help bring about a successful combination of artwork and frame. Thank you again. Gana Browning, Owner

Toni Codinas: I had a great experience with Framer's Workroom. They were very responsive over email recommending frames for my stretched canvasses and providing quotes. They then gave me an appointment to drop my pieces to adhere with social distancing recommendations and explained me in detail how they would frame the artwork. After 10 days my pieces were ready to pick-up. The workmanship is of good quality and the frames they recommended really enhance the art work. I look forward to bringing more pieces to this store and maybe next time trying to assemble the frames myself!
Response: Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure working with you.

Larry Goldman: Are used to be a huge fan of this place and literally have spent many thousands of dollars using their services. I’ve always been happy with the customer service and the quality of the work. Put in my last two encounters, I have found them to be less than customer oriented, almost expecting me to be appreciative that they are taking the time to work with me. Something has changed. I don’t know if it’s a management shift or what, but there are just too many other framing establishments in the area to have to put up with their attitude. I’m disappointed, but I’m hoping that they again will value loyal customers like me.
Response: Dear Mr. Goldman: I am so sorry that you were disappointed with us in your last interaction. You have been a good customer for more than 10 years, and we do value your business and your loyalty. We are doing our best to maintain our high level of customer service in a time made difficult by the Covid-19 virus. Under Phase 2 in DC, we are allowed to have only two customers in the store at the same time, as well as a limited number of staff members. We just can't operate in the same way we always have. I can assure you that Framers' Workroom is and has been under the same management since 1981. We are dealing with a whole new set of unprecedented obstacles and trying to overcome them as best we can. I sincerely hope that you will give us another chance. Gana Browning, Owner

Matthew DePauw: I brought artwork there hoping to DIY the framing. Unfortunately, they are not doing DIY due to covid-19, instead, I was helped by delightful, knowledgeable, and patient Caroline. She was absolutely incredible putting together the perfect combinations of frames and matting to accent my art pieces. She was a joy to work with on this job and I hope to use her expertise on future projects.

Cynthia C Houseknecht: So glad I found this framing store! They have good frame molding choices in stock and are happy to special order what they don't have. I literally walked in with my art and walked out with a beautiful completed piece in under two hours. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way!

Steve: I stopped by with two small projects because I at the pool at Wilson. I would normally go to frame-of-mine on capital hill. The woman running the place was hostile and I think she screwed up the project she agreed to do. She refused one framing project. Another framer agreed to to di. She rushed through a second project. She used card board with my etching which, according to another framer, would damage my art because it was not acid-free. The board also did not fit into the frame, but she forced it. I had to have it redone with the correct material (acid free board) and a board that fit into the frame. The price was reasonable, $5, but it was a waste of money and the time required to redo.

Liz Wagstrom: This is one of my favorite places! Great employees that will provide expert advice on frames, mats, glass and mounting artwork. Then you have the fun of finishing the project, with them helping, and it all costs WAY LESS than other framers. Would highly recommend!

Gordon Dean: I've framed several pictures there myself over the last 15 years. I've always had a good experience with friendly knowledgable help and a well outfitted workroom. One caveat is that I did work in a frame shop about 20 years ago so I have some experience framing. From the conversations I overheard between staff and inexperienced DIY customers it seems the staff were as friendly and helpful to them as they were with me.

Adam Shamieh: The concept is great! If you want to make a one of a kind frame done right, then this is the place to go to. You pick your frame, matting, type of backing (acid free or note), glass or plastic (the good kind of plexi), and they'll put all of the dimensions in the computer for the perfect cut. The frame material starts at $4.50/ft. I ended up framing my diploma with a standard size frame for $75. I had a large piece of art (aprx 18x23) custom framed without matting for just over $100. I brought two cheapo 20x20 frames in and kept everything, but I needed matting bringing those to maybe $20ish each. Really great when the standard size frames don't work or you want a custom job. Definitely go for the DIY option - it's cheaper and much more satisfying! They get your measurements, how you want your matting to fit, and walk you though the process. You'll get everything you need to preserve your piece and hang it on the wall. One gripe I have is that the employee that assisted me accidentally stained my large print and my diploma (gasp). When this happened, she washed her hands and did the best she could to get the stains out. We matted over one on my diploma and she was very helpful in amending the situation. The manager even took $30 off each damaged piece and upgraded my backing material. I recommend this place, but be very clean and careful during the process!

Marie Duellman: I can't say enough about this place. Everyone who works there are super professional and so helpful and patient. They take time to work you through your decisions and if you choose to frame it yourself (I highly recommend this!), they walk you through it and are there to assist through the whole process. What a gem this is in our neighborhood. No more big box framing for me.......

Shop Made in DC: what do users think?

Ian Bozung: Such a beautiful store, literally full of DC-local, small business products!! It's just such a beautiful, chill shop. I bought a little magnet with the DC flag. ($7, a bit overpriced but still)

Adam Clevenger: DC is full of cheap, mass produced, tourist-trap merchandise. But Shop Made in DC is different! Unique items made by local makers and business owners adorn every shelf in this beautiful shop. Great for souvenirs and gifts.

James Walsh: There are some truly unique things to be found here. It's especially great for random cards and prints. The prices for jewelry are absolutely all over the place, but I guess the artist picks their price. They even have some local brews (bottled cold brew, cider, beer, kombucha). Overall it's really a great place for a gift.

Kahui Lim: Well organized gift shop with a great selection of candles, post cards, and other knick knacks.

Emerson rachel Sheldon: Genuinely the worst service I have ever received with the rudest employee ever. Yelled at me while smelling a candle then yelled across the store. Then she ran out the door saying having a good night I hope you learn how to read. Ridiculous and so unprofessional. I completly understand I should have had my mask up but really?

Rob Ainbinder: Great store. Full of locally made goods including some great options for souvenir t-shirts, hats, and hoodies as well as a selection of locally made prints, and specialty foods.

Kelly M.: I love this shop. It’s a bit pricey but not unreasonable for locally made and unique goods. It’s absolutely the perfect place to buy gifts or DC souvenirs that aren’t tacky or cheap.

Scott “DC Cheetah” Suchyta: Shop Made in DC is always a solid choice for a pop in to find stickers, clothing, candles, and other gifts from local artisans. This time, we picked up some sweatshirts and a beanie from Baliwick, as well as some ornaments and of course seasonal candles. For those familiar with the area more generally, the shop is very simple to Steadfast Supply. I'd certainly recommend stopping in here to support local artists whenever you find yourself at the Wharf.

Dondré: This shop is awesome. It's filled with things all made here in DC by DC residents. It's a shop that supports local creators, I like the idea of that. This shop has a lot of gift type items. So if you're in town visiting it's a great place to get a souvenir.

Aarti Bansal: Lovely shop full of local products made in DC. I love how each product is accompanied with a description of the vendor with a brief description of the owner, when the business was founded, and where it's made. At Navy Yard, the shop is only retail and a bit different than the location in Dupont Circle as it doesn't have a cafe. There's a lot to merchandise: greeting cards, jewelry, dishware, mugs, creams, candles, and food! The snack shelf tucked in the back with artisan bars of handcraft dark chocolate and indian spiced lentil chips and dips piqued my curiosity and bought them. Happy to support and show TLC to local businesses. Don't miss the beautiful mural of DC monuments near the front! The staff is really friendly and explaining to us the competitive application process of becoming a vendor and a partner with the shop. Great shop for gifts and to sample local products, definitely check out!

Woodcraft of Washington DC Area: what do users think?

Symon Phoenyx: I'm a novice woodworker and this is the absolute best store in the area for my needs. Staff isways friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is always clean and presentable. They offer woodworking classes, and will even help suggest other ways to accomplish your task. They aren't cheap by any means, but they are easily appropriately priced for their products, it's just an expensive hobby. 😅

Michael A: I recently took up a little wood working and doing crafts and this place has all that you need to get started with your projects. I'm doing more woodturning now and the staff are all experts and able to set you up right for your project. The prices can be a little high on some items but they cater to quality in this shop. The machinery are all top notch equipment and you won't find the more economical choices here like you may at Harbor Freight or Lowe's. This shop has a smaller selection for those into resin casting compared to the Leesburg store but their online selection has anything you may be missing. They offer several selections of exotic wood blanks as well but some can get pricey but you are paying for quality so I don't mind the extra costs. If you're into wood turning, wood carving, making cutting boards and trays, or finish carpentry then you need to stop by and shop around. I'm a regular now and glad I found this place. It's the only place around for specialty wood working that I know of. You can buy everything you need to make the items shown.

Cara Nicole Stock: Really mind gentlemen here! Came in with zero knowledge starting a personal repurposing project and I was helped gently by the two guys who were working (I wish I got their names). Will definitely return for any wood making projects I take on in the future!

Chopped Champ: This store is a smaller than other locations, but carries a very good supply of tools (power and hand) and sundries for all your woodworking needs. Staff was very courteous and helpful and the store was spotless. They have a nice selection of milled lumber both domestic and exotic, but prices were a bit high in comparison to what I'm accustomed to as I usually purchase rough and do the milling myself. Store had tons of finishing materials in stock from dyes to topcoats. Parking is abundant as the store is located in a strip mall. This is a very good store for any woodworker from novice to professional with a range of products to help you start and complete your projects.

Leonid Matvyeyev: So there I was in this store, I needed nothing and yet many $ later I walked out thinking back if I needed any more. I bought some stuff that I did not need but wanted, a good selection of tools and the staff was very helpful. I have not been to many woodcraft and that other Woodworking store but they all seem as good as the others.

Vince Charming: Knowledgeable staff, plenty of class options, exotic wood, and hardware for DIYers like me! Similar to a Rockler, in a good way.

Ed Skinner: Changed a backordered item, and picked up three pen kits for Summer birthday presents. Amazing inventory! Great service!

Brad Moffett: Store has an excellent selection of woodworking tools, equipment and supplies. Lots of specialty tools as well for tiring, routing, jigs, and clamps. Prices are a bit higher than at the big box stores, but they have items the dedicated woodworker can't find there. I especially like their collection of vaneers. Plus, the staff there are always very knowledgeable. A trait you definitely won't find in the big box stores on a consistent basis.

Stacey F.: Very helpful staff and really love ability to use advanced tools for workshop fee and have an experienced person to help - really helped!! Note that most small supplies are a bit more expensive than Home Depot basics, but I suspect probably higher quality or more durable than the big box store. If you are able to, definitely support these guys!

Aida Dedajic, CAE: Amazing class! We did the date night and built a beautiful box. Our instructor, Nate Blodgett, was detail oriented, technical, patient, explained all the tools. It was so refreshing. We loved the experience and building something with our hands.
Response: Thanks for the feedback. We are extremely pleased that you enjoyed the class. Thx again..Mike

CB2: what do users think?

Jamie X: I am a huge fan of the CB2 brand. I visited the store to see some of the contents in my online cart in person. I loved every piece just as much as I did online. The showroom itself is okay. Georgetown is always busy. One plus is the complimentary validation of parking if you visit the store for 1 hour. They did have floor models of a lot of the more featured pieces. I felt the rug selection was a little lacking. And the selection of lighting was also lacking. Overall if you know what your looking for you trip will be worth it. The sales staff was friendly and helpful with out being pushy...another plus.

Samantha Angel: This store permanently closed on Feb 20, 2022. They will open a new store in the Tysons Corner area in Virginia, not sure when. So even shopping online is tricky, because they still have stuff packed up at this store and no news on when or where the new store will be set up. Otherwise love their products! Especially the Drift Reactive Indigo Dinner Plates! But when you try to order online it shows in stock, you pay and then receive emails it's not in stock and they cancel your order. Then the website still shows it in stock, what's going on Crate and Barrel 2? CB2... come on now, we love your stuff now make it easier for us to buy them.

Aref Darzi: One of the worst experiences I ever had in ordering furniture. I placed an order for a coffee table, a floor lamp, and a a set of dinnerware and flatware. The coffee table delivered damaged one week later than their estimated time and I needed to wait for 11 more days to get it replaced. The floor lamp is right now 1.5 months delayed without any updates from CB2. The dinnerware set was delivered with some broken pieces, I asked for replacing, after 2 weeks they sent it to a wrong number. It is a mess. I don't recommend placing any order from CB2 unless you can see the actual item in the store and pick it up right away. It has been a disastrous experience.
Response: Hi Aref! We really appreciate the feedback and do sincerely apologize about the negative experience you have encountered with the damaged items and the delays. Please understand that we’re doing our best to meet the needs of our customers while supporting the safety of our associates during this time. Like many other businesses, COVID-19 has impacted our daily operations including social distancing guidelines and constraints with shipping and delivery networks. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Feel free to send us a DM for additional information. -Porcha

Nikki Banner: Beautiful store with LOTs of sales associates. But not one does design and can’t give input. You have to book an appointment online. They also are promoting 15% off on their site but they weren’t knowledgeable in store. Could definitely be improved. For those buying put your email in online and get the promo code. Promo code can be used in store

Sha Mar: I love this store. Staffs are friendly, polite and professional! Furnitures are modern, stylish and elegant! Atmosphere is fantastic!!!!! You can spend hours and hours looking around and nobody would even bother you! This is my kind of furniture store! They recently added natural plants into their designs looks like heaven on earth to me! You should definitely check out their new designs, details, their new fresh plans with pots and etc ... super stylish and very up to-date with modern style of living plus the touch of nature which is perfect.

Muge Sherdil: This place is awesome! We have been furnishing our entire home from here. The place is inviting and very cute, but above all, customer service is above and beyond. They are always friendly, helpful and very accommodating. At a particularly busy time a few days ago we paid another visit to the store and we were catered to with such care it is unbelievable. Ray and Britanny went out of their way to make it convenient for us and always kept their friendly demeanor. Thank you so much!

Idan F: One of the most amazing store in DC area!!We have so many great products of CB2.Find them also in downtown SFO, and couldn't wait :))

TANER Karagoz: I bought kitchen cabinet handles from cb2, very nice and high quality

Lilian Hu Nguyen: Lovely store with plentiful associates right on main and main of Gtown. The associates here are super pleasant and helpful as well. Possibly due to demand in the area as the only store, but the inventory is consistently pretty low or non existent.

Sara Tenney: I had a bad experience with the store manager. I returned pillow cases and she told me they were used which they weren’t. Apparently my cats had climbed into the bag which cats are known to do and the pillow cases had cat hair on them. It was of course what she should have inquired but it was clear she didn’t believe me when I said they weren’t and I felt terrible that she believed I was lying. She could have handled the situation with a lot more grace. I won’t be back
Response: We sincerely apologize for your recent experience and for any inconvenience this may have caused you! We appreciate the time you have taken to write to us and share this feedback. We will pass this feedback to the appropriate team. Thanks! -Tricia

Hinckley Pottery: what do users think?

Aramis Penland: I would love to try Hinckley Pottery, though after reaching out multiple times via their contact emails and phone and not receiving any replies after 8 days, I can't get hold of any staff here. Most of their classes are sold out online with no indication of when they might become available again, and rather than open their website day after day in hopes that something becomes available, Hinckley really needs to have a way to get in touch with them. If you are going to provide contact emails but either not monitor those inboxes or choose not to respond, that is simply bad good customer service.

Caitlin Jones: I love Hinckley pottery! I took 15 weeks of classes with Sam and she was amazing. I made about 30 pieces of pottery during my time there and I can't wait to start classes again in the Fall. They had great COVID protocols, were incredible friendly and so so knowledgeable.

Henry Townsend: I can hardly claim to be objective as I have been going to classes at Hinckley Pottery for over 20 years. But my experiences there have been wonderful. The environment is comfortable, lots of space, well lit, materials etc easy to access. I began so long ago that I cannot promise that my memory of learning to throw pots at Hinckley is totally accurate but I think the instructors are pleasant, expert, and gentle, so I differ with some of the negative comments made here. The other students are all ages, from their 20s to their 80s like me. You very much go at your own pace. Just don't expect to throw an elegant porcelain teapot in a week or if your skills are only average like mine in a year. Porcelain is hard, but stoneware, which is what most people use, including the top Japanese potters, is easier for a beginner.

Emma Rentz: Jill makes and sells beautiful pottery. The classes are also fun and reasonably priced.

Lisa Paquette: I LOVE Hinckley Pottery Studio. Classes are sold in groups of 10 sessions and I just completed my first session (and am continuing indefinitely!). I came to Hinckley as a complete newbie. All the classes have different teachers, and I have mostly worked with Karen on Mondays. She is absolutely lovely and took the time to sit down and teach me everything I need to know at the wheel. Throughout my classes, any time I have a question, Karen and other students are always there to help and advise. Overall I have had only positive experiences here! It isn't cheap, but the price includes all materials and firing of pots which is important to keep in mind. I look forward to my time at Hinckley all week!

Page R: Wow. I am a newbie and have had a very different experience than two negative reviews here. Perhaps it depends on the teacher, though I've had three due to makeups. My teacher has had amazing patience with my learning curve and am important sense of humor. I'm in my second series and love it so much I will continue indefinitely. I've found the fellow potters extremely helpful and supportive. It takes a village to learn how to throw and glaze a pot. Another student and I have used our phone to tape instructions. I love the new bright open studio space. They have try it sessions if you don't want to buy a full series. But I think it takes a full series to get truly throwing.

Stephen Rowley: My wife and I took part in the Valentine's Day class and loved it! All three of the teachers there were knowledgeable, patient, and fun. They provided wine, cheese, and snacks and gave us plenty of guidance on how to work with clay. We had never done this before but felt like we got a lot of information out of a two hour class. Highly recommended!

Chin-Yen Cheng: I went to the Try it program back in November and it was fun in the class but the experience after that class was terrible. Jeff, the assistant there, was very helpful and friendly. For those who decided to finish our works, we were told our works would be done within two weeks before the holidays, and I remember people saying it’s a good idea for holiday gifts. However, I have not heard back from them until I called them after the holidays. Gave them a few emails early January and decided to call them to learn that our works were not complete. Whoever picked up the call was not friendly and told me “You must have heard wrong. It is probably two months instead of two weeks.” Had I known that, I would never have paid to finish the work. Throughout the whole quarter of waiting, they never gave me any update on the progress, either via email or phone as they promised to. I had to call every time to confirm the work was not done until end of February. Most frustrating of all, they finished the work that I never intended to finish. At the time of the class, they asked us to describe as clearly as possible on the work we intended to finish, which I did by describing the size and height and shape, but it turned out they finished my boyfriend’s work and put my name on it. At this time I am so tired of even arguing with them. It was an awful decision I made and I totally regretted it.

Stephanie Wilson: I took a class at Hinckley Pottery over the summer and I had a wonderful experience. I learned so much during my time and my teacher was welcoming, helpful, enthusiastic and inspiring. Her demonstrations were extremely helpful and I loved the atmosphere and shop as well. I will be back!

Odile Duchamp: I like the studio space itself. However, the staff are snobby, sarcastic and not very helpful. They don't teach you properly. They don't seem like they want you to learn. They give you a laminated list of 10 steps to follow to create a pot for in house use only. Rather than having pictures of what your hands should be doing on each step along with repeated guidance. The teacher just gives you a live demonstration once rather than walking you through it several times as you "the student" become more comfortable. When you ask questions the sarcastic and arrogant staff pretend they can't hear you or they embarrass you rather than showing you how to throw pots properly. They keep emphasizing the longer you throw pots the better you get. This is true however had the studio employed qualified and friendly teachers who were genuinely interested in showing you the proper methods for throwing pots you would get the concept a whole lot faster. I asked if the instructor could make me a copy of the 10 steps to throwing a pot so I could research the method closer on my own. My request was met with an unhelpful "no, those steps are for studio use only." I went in the kiln room to pick up my bisque fired pots from the week before. Only one was ready. When I asked the woman who was unloading the kilns she said " I don't know maybe they are still in the kiln. I looked in the kiln and she had almost emptied it out. Neither of the remaining pots were mine and she dumbly looks at me and says where are you looking for it? I explained you just said it might still be in the kiln. It wasn't there and she looks at me again like an idiot and says "I don't know maybe it hasn't been fired yet". As I walked away I said "Thanks" in my mind I'm thinking thanks for nothing. It feels like the studio is unwelcoming to beginners. They treat you like crap until you are one of the them. I might investigate taking classes elsewhere. Maybe even community college. Is the goal of the studio to teach pottery and assist the student to learn the proper method? or is the goal humiliate students when they ask questions, not teach students how to properly make pottery so they will continue to pay the exorbitant fee of $350 for ten weeks and waste their time not making pots, making wet lumps of clay that fall over and making posts that crack in the kiln, are not thrown and trimmed properly. Everyone in the class is at different levels but the staff make you feel really stupid while they spend more time assisting the more advanced students. This was my first experience taking pottery in my life. I do enjoy it and I am persistent in that if I don't get something I keep trying until I understand. However, if you are going to take a class here I would recommend watching youtube videos outside of the class or taking their open studio classes in order to practice. The open studio class does not have a teacher but you can practice throwing pots. I will probably continue taking ceramics I just have to develop thicker skin and research wheel methods outside of the studio. I wish there were a nicer place to study ceramics. There the staff and a few of the students weren't all "primadonna". Some of the students in the class are nice but others just stare at you like you're retarded. I guess what I'm saying is take pottery here at your own risk or take it elsewhere until you become a snobby potter like they are .

The Home Depot: what do users think?

beyondTabu: The customer service is hit or miss. If you find a friendly CSR, they’ll show you where the item is, on the opposite end of the spectrum, they just point and mumble which is the majority of them. It has everything you need as usual. They just need to insist all staff are consistent with their service.

Zora Domain: My rating isn't based on this part, but I think new people should know - The parking lot is terrible. There isn't much that can be done about the location but I think what makes it worse is that everyone moves without regard for one another. Cars, pedestrians, everyone. I have no idea why no one looks left and right and left again in such a tricky, dangerous spot. I was a little stressed before even stepping inside. Go slowly and carefully! My rating IS based on this part. I usually love coming to Home Depot, but after this first visit here I'm going to go to Lowe's instead from here on out. I came to pick up a few items and left with a lamp and some shelves. I understand that this is a hardware/home improvement store so things are bound to sit around for a while and get a little dusty but this was wild - they were so dirty. I wanted 4 of these command strip shelves and despite them being in this condition, I paid for them. Cleaned when I got them home. They don't work as well as the product ratings online would suggest, which makes me wonder if it's user error or because of how dusty they got. I'm not sure if stores like this are supposed to rotate stock regularly but if they are, then this is a pretty good sign that it's being neglected in some spots. Secondly, I overheard an employee being rude to an elderly gentleman who was having a difficult time finding a hardware product for his door. He explained very clearly where he had already looked and what he was looking for, but the woman argued with him and resorted to a very catty, "Well okay, we aren't looking in the right spot." Good customer service and common sense is to bring the customer to the product location. He was having a hard time, it made no sense to make it that much more difficult for him. I almost stepped in to say I'd just help him look if she didn't want to, but she finally, FINALLY took him down the aisle to look with him. Lastly, the checkout lines are a disaster and the employees didn't have a system to direct traffic. Tons of finger-pointing and yelling. All of the customers were confused on what aisle to go to. It was not a fun trip. I really hope that this Home Depot can turn around but given the parking lot situation, I value my car and my life too much to return lol.

trey cyr: I bought a new refrigerator and paid for home depot to haul away the old one after installation. When they delivered the new refrigerator, they noticed an issue with the plumbing connect and offered to haul away the old refrigerator but I told them to leave it so we'd have a working fridge until we could have a plumber come out. Fast forward to the plumber coming out and installing the new fridge, I called home depot once again to have them come and haul away the old one and they rescheduled a new pick up. One week later, the haul away company home depot contracts out to said the fridge is "too big" for them to haul away. It is the same size as the new fridge AND is lighter than the new fridge. When I called home depot the helpline associate said there was nothing they could do, nor could they tell me what was considered "too large" to haul away. They could not recommend another hauling service either to remove the old fridge. When I asked if there was anything else she could do, the line cut off and she transferred me to the home depot after call survey. She basically hung up on me. When they originally delivered the new fridge they were more than willing to haul away the old one, but when I had them come back after the new fridge was installed properly they refused to haul it away, and home depot's "help line" was absolutely no help at all, and the associate hung up on me after asking what we were supposed to do with the old fridge left in our kitchen. If you ever use home depot's delivery and haul away service I highly recommend you ask them specifically what size appliance they will not haul away, because this information was never explained to us. I'm honestly not sure if we are even getting our haul away service fee refunded after the call because the associate hung up on us. I've never experience such poor customer service from such a large company.

Daming Yu: Terrible. Customer service really needs improvement. Bought two items online. Didn’t work. Brought them to store to return and was told all good. Didn’t check the receipt until I got home and then I saw the refund is only for one item. I returned the next weekend and was told I am too late. No apology. It seems the company’s service has been steadily declining in the past few years.

Christian Adams: Yenifer is an outstanding employee and helped me to understand the current active duty benefits Home Depot has. She was simple outstanding and helped me out so much. I’m shocked she isn’t a supervisor or manager knowing two languages and so much about the store.

Syed Haider: Customer service is possibly the worst I have ever encountered. We had the terrible experience of speaking to a CSR by the name of Fabian. We had a simple question regarding some items at the Patio section, to which Fabian replied “are you kidding me? I’m not a carpenter”. We stated we weren’t mistaking him for a carpenter, rather seeking help regarding installation of the items as we were new to this. Fabian subsequently started reading prices off the rack as if my wife and I were mentally challenged. He kept uttering nonsense as we walked away. He was highly disrespectful and unnecessarily rude. I would definitely give this location a miss based on their unforgivable attitude. Thankfully there’s Lowe’s at Jermantown road which is a far superior choice for your needs and much better customer service.

stephanie wade: This is a horrible home depot store - the customer service has been terrible across every single employee I have interacted with over many visits. I keep going because it is close but no more. In my last interaction I spent 50 min trying to buy a grill with someone who told me they knew what they were doing and then after all that time did not and lied about what they could do, then when I tried to cancel my order they hung up on me and did not cancel it.

Denise Nguyen: My daughter and I were looking for a wood stain for a piece of trim to match our LVP floor. The staff were super helpful, but unable to find a match, until Kofi came to the rescue. Kofi was very knowledgeable and patiently opened and tested several cans until we were satisfied with the match. Home Depot Seven Corners, 6/9/22

Hua Huang: We met Ahmad, and he talked to us like our friend. We discussed flooring options for basement and We purchased traffic master vinyl flooring from Home Depot because we got the best service from Ahmad.

Ernesto Roubert: Great location and selections. Love the curbside pickup service. Have the app on your phone.

Little Leaf: what do users think?

Austin Graff: On a hunt for the perfect plant for our living room, my wife, daughter and I visited four plant shops within two hours- Rewild, Little Leaf, She Loves Me and Ginko's Gardens. All were great options, but here's what stood out about Little Leaf: 1) Space: It's the most beautiful space with plants everywhere, bringing the tile floor to life. It's a small shop, but one you can easily photograph. 2) Price: For being a boutique shop, the prices weren't bad at all. For a taller plant for our living room, we expected to pay $200+, but found an option at Little Leaf for $69. Little Leaf also sells greeting cards and other small gifts. Parking can be harder to find, but worth it if you snag a spot. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The one downside of Little Leaf was that the staff were the least helpful out of the locations we visited. They weren't rude at all, just didn't jump in to help as eagerly as the others. At the end of the day, we're all human so I get not having the energy to always be our best, especially around the holidays.
Response: Hi Austin, Thank you so much for visiting us! We strive to offer the most hospitable customer service to everyone, and are disappointed to hear you didn't receive that. We'll take your note to heart and be sure to continue working on this. We hope you love your new plant, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. Best, Mollie

Ben Segall: Love this place. Got a rlly nice fern in a gorgeous handmade ceramic pot. The plant selection is awesome and they are rlly nice and helpful. Be aware: most of the ceramics and plants are sold separately. The ceramics are mostly handmade and therefore priced accordingly, so if you don’t want to spend extra on a planter pot I suggest you bring your own and have them repot it for you. Overall this place is a 10/10 recommend. Will definitely go back soon.
Response: So happy to hear you had a great experience, Ben! I remember potting that fern for you and being excited about the plant + pot combo you picked out. Hope to see you again in the shop soon! Best, Mollie

Melissa Pazornik: Eleanor was absolutely wonderful to work with! Her eye for arrangements and knowledge about each plant was phenomenal. The entire team made my experience so enjoyable and I am OBSESSED with the final product.
Response: Thanks so much Melissa! We are also thrilled with how the arrangements turned out- enjoy your new plant babies! -The Little Leaf Team

Ceci Moffit: The store was very nice despite the strong artificial flower smell. The store was also very small and not covid safe at all. The male employee was very rude and did not answer my questions. He also look as if he had more important things to do. I have never had such a bad experience at a flower store before.
Response: Hi Ceci, We're so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We pride ourselves in our customer service and COVID safety, running at a limited capacity of 8 customers in the shop. We hope you give us another chance down the road, and we will be sure to share your feedback with our team. Best, Mollie

R. Sims: I have purchased several plants from Little Leaf over the years and recently decided to get a larger plant for my living area. I ordered a Birds of Paradise to be delivered, but did not hear from anyone on the delivery date (Saturday). I got a message on Sunday saying the plant was delivered. I reached out to the supposed delivery driver who I guess contacted Little Leaf and received a message that the confirmation was sent early, erroneously. Ok, no problem. The plant was delivered today and I must say I am disappointed in the quality - many of the leaves are split and the plant does not seem to have been well taken care of. I am surprised by this and unfortunately will be purchasing plants elsewhere.
Response: Hi there, we're so sorry to hear about the state of your plant upon arrival. If you could send us an email to hello@littleleafshop.com, we'd love to send you a replacement. Thank you, Mollie

Holden Rhodes: Hands down the best indoor plant boutique in DC. There’s no other place like it. The selection is always excellent and the profits are high quality and extremely healthy, especially compared to other plant stores in the area. I’ve bought nearly all of my plants from here and there’s a noticeable difference in the longevity of the products purchased here versus chain stores. Staff is consistently helpful and welcoming and the aesthetic never fails!

Ms.: Nice gem in D.C. great selection of plants, all shapes and sizes. Great staff. Some items are great to give as gifts. Books, cards, pots etc. Loved the pot hangers
Response: Thanks so much for the kind review, Ms. Green! Come back and see us again soon!

Lindsey Casella: Always love stopping by this gem. The plants are reasonably priced and the decor/design of the store feels like Justin’s Blakeney Jungalow come to life !!!! Here are my newest additions from the store, that I snagged for total of ~$25. (Note: care cards are included, which is ideal for beginners!)
Response: Hi Lindsey! Thanks so much for the sweet words! We're so happy to hear you're a fan and hope to see you again soon in the shop. Many thanks, the LL team

Kristen Diaz: Shop looks really aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it. Not a great variety of plants & everything is wildly overpriced (plants & pots). Even with that, I expected at least good customer service but received nothing from both employees working there. Not even a greeting or goodbye as I left (even though I still thanked them as I walked out), let alone assistance with anything else. There was also only 1 other person in the store who left before I finished shopping around so the shop wasn’t busy.
Response: Hi Kristen, We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand how frustrated you must have been reflecting on your visit. We are always working to train our team to provide warm, attentive and welcoming service, and we will certainly use your experience to help us improve. We hope you give us another chance and have you back in sometime. Best, The Little Leaf Team

Ms. D: Extremely poor customer service and overpriced. Last Tuesday, (Dec 21) the brunette female was cold, unwelcoming and her attitude/personality was off-putting. Especially, her tone of voice when telling people there was an occupancy limit as soon as they barely stepped foot into the shop. With how tiny the shop is, it definitely needs a limit for the safety of staff/customers during Covid, but there’s a much more professional and friendly way to communicate to people, let alone customers. When entering the shop, it felt like you were just a nuisance to her. I will not be returning.
Response: Hi there, We're so sorry to hear about your experience. We are constantly striving to offer warm and genuine customer service, and are disappointed to hear you didn't receive that during your visit. We hope you give us another chance and that we get to see you in the shop again. Best, Mollie

Dawson's Market: what do users think?

Arthur Serratelli: The transition from Glen's to Dawson's at Dupont has been smooth. Same quality products. Same youthful, friendly customer service from all levels of the staff. Everyone pitches in, to make the experience for the customer first right! Dawson's -- the heart of our neighborhood. It makes our neighborhood a TRUE NEIGHBORHOOD! We love this place -- get on IN HERE!

Catherine Zander: Great little high end grocery store. Has lots of wonderful vegan choices and beautiful food. The produce looked fresh and the baked goods delicious. It's almost as if they curated all the best things from all over. To that end they have lots of local goodies. For example (pictured) some of the best pita and hummus I've had outside of a proper restaurant or made by someone's immigrant grandma. So good!

P Takehara: Small but convenient. Has a good variety of healthy food options for you to choose from.
Response: P Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Hope to see you again soon. Bart

Eddies: Live around the corner from here but never gone inside til today. I was in a bit of a hurry and needed a couple of lunch items. The place is pricey, but not significantly more pricey than most places around here. What really annoyed me was when I was checking out the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag. Despite knowing about the ridiculous DC bag charge I said Yes please a small bag. As I was entering my credit card into the payment machine I noticed the cashier was placing my items into a reusable cloth-type bag which I didn't want. Anybody who goes into a store and is asked if they want a bag they presume it to mean a plastic or paper bag, not a cloth bag. I noticed an additional charge of $8.99 on the total for the bag! I told him I didn't want that type of bag and wanted just a plastic bag. I feel like he should have understood this when I said "a small bag" and all he would need to say is I only have these reusable bags that are EIGHT 99 (BTW, I've purchased similar bags in other stores for $3-5). I rejected the charge and he removed the bag from my total and then told me plastic bags were available somewhere in the back of the store. While the guy was not surly or impolite I feel that a little BASIC communication would be helpful here. I get it that a lot of people in this area have money to burn but many of us do not, and I would hope that a working person in a grocery would get that. Apparently that's not the case, or management tells them to try to push the bags hoping that once the charge is added they will be hesitant to tell them to remove the charge. Either way, not impressed. I will also add that my $9 container of curry chicken salad was terrible.
Response: Thank you for sharing your concerns. I am sorry about the confusion on bags. We are very focused on the environment and do not offer plastic bags. If a customer requests a bag we have reusable bags which are 99 cents, not 8.99. Each time you bring the bag back you get 10 cents off your order. We do sell Jute bags for 8.99, these are high quality durable bags made from a rapidly renewable plant. I am sorry you were not happy with the chicken salad, we will gladly issue a refund for that. Just come in and ask for a manager who will issue a refund. Thank you.

Christopher Macfarlane: Things have really gone down hill. Unfortunately, when this market was bought by Dawson’s the quality of management went down severely. Previously it was easy to get any fresh fruit or vegetable, and prepared foods. For the past few months I haven’t been able to get the few things I need for one dinner plan on numerous occasions. The produce is consistently rotting or rotten in the displays. Today when I went to get one of my favorite prepared sandwiches, the chicken Caesar wrap, both wraps in the prepared food section were 4 and 5 days old with dried out Caesar dressing and wilted lettuce. I grabbed a chicken Caesar salad instead, set to sell by 3/2, and came home to find half the lettuce to be wilted and dead. As some one who used to work in the food service industry, at a market not that much different than dawsons, I understand how difficult this whole operation is. But, I’ve given this place a lot of time to get their legs under them, 8 months, and the quality of the market continues to go down. After so many months it’s clear no adjustments are being made by management. I feel bad for the staff that have to deal with this.
Response: Christopher I am sorry you had a bad experience. If you could let me know what happened we would be happy to try to make it right. Please email me at info@dawsonsmarket.com thanks Bart

Rachel Milito your Realtor: Such a cute place to pop in for a quick drink or lunch. We stopped here after our walk around the town and had a delicious prosciutto pie. The service was great and very quick. It’s a cute market for different products as well. Seating area outside that allows your pet to sit in as well. Loved this place ! There are many different options as well, hot or cold salads, chicken and more !

Harsha P.: Beside's being a gem in the neighborhood for groceries and takeaways, its cafe serves some of the best hot sandwiches and prepared items. We stopped by here for a few items but also their Italian Pork sandwich on their made on the homemade Focaccia (both fluffy and crispy) that's literally dripping with flavor. Also, the 'Pizza Pie Brassica Oh My!' with a perfectly crispy crust, fun cauliflower, and whipped tahini! It's finger licking good! ig: @harshaeats
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words, Harsha. We're thrilled you've enjoyed our sandwiches, pizzas and focaccia! That's terrific to hear! Hope to see you again soon.

Chad P: I just moved to the area a month ago and visited the Dupont Circle location on Tuesday 05/17 for the first and last time. For some reason, the cashier didn't seem to have much interest in acknowledging my existence. No initial greeting or post-transaction thank you (eventhough I thanked him). Contrast this with Trader Joes where everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. I will not visit this store again. If I'm going to spend over $20 for 3 minor items at least I could be treated pleasantly. I mean there was exactly one other customer in the store it's not like the cashier was particularly rushed or busy.
Response: Chad, Hi, I am sorry you had a bad experience at the store. We always try to provide top level serve. I will share you comments with our staff so we can make improvements. It was very busy Tuesday and I'm sorry we didn't provide the attention we should have.

Logan Richardson: A little gem near DuPont. Perfect for a mid day recharge if you are walking around the city. Get a beer, some chips or a delicious sandwich, sit on the spacious patio and recharge in the shade.
Response: Logan, Hi, thanks for the 5 stars. We really appreciate the feedback.

Eve Fairbanks: Still a top place for cheap, unusual craft beer. The rest used to be better—the fruit, veggies, and baked goods selection have been sad lately.

Jenni Bick Custom Journals: what do users think?

Martina Rosen: Overcharged, phone call not returned, mean salesperson. Would go through Amazon if I had it to do over again. Here are the excruciatingly detailed details: I was in earlier this week. I had what I would consider odd experiences with one of the store clerks. It sounds like generally Jenni Bick has excellent customer service but that wasn’t my experience across the board. One employee was kind but the other seemed a bit mean if I can put it directly. We had a few encounters that left me feeling uneasy. I can’t say I have had that experience anywhere else — I generally have an easy time interacting with people. This was frustrating because my trip to this store was meant to be a treat. It isn’t inexpensive, and I used my lunch break to walk up to their store and back from K and 20th. I was looking forward to a nice experience buying a nice journal. This same salesperson wound up overcharging me for a product after displaying much scrutiny about the labeled price. I actually didn’t realize I was overcharged until looking at my receipt the next day. I bought two journals — one Moleskin for about $27, one clearance journal listed at $15, because it had some damage. After studying the journal for quite a while (and confirming when I mentioned the discounted price that she had seen it), I was charged $25; almost twice as much. When I brought the journal back to my office and fully unwrapped it I clearly saw the damage. (But for $15 it’s fine!) I called first thing in the morning the next day, and listened to my voicemail before sending it. My phone number was clear both times I said it. It’s been two full business days and I haven’t received a call back. It just seems odd. I put in a second call this morning but at this point feel somewhat frustrated. I wouldn’t have gone there if I had known it would be like this. The whole point of going into a store rather than Amazon was for the shopping experience.

J Sheehan: Though the products are quality and gorgeous, the staff were so passive aggressive. Instead of telling us they were closing, they played Closing Time by Semisonic. I understand the desire to close up shop, but the staff should be responsible for kindly communicating that. I will be ordering online instead of visiting the shop and recommend others do as well.

Piper Strzelecki: This is one of my favorite spots in the area!! The shop is perfect for cute gifts: stationary, puzzles, tote bags, and every writing utensil you could imagine. Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend.

Robert Gregory: My wife likes pens. And paper too. So she likes this store. She has good taste. I just walk around the neighborhood while she shops.

Grant Smith: Top notch quality. Fast customer inquiry response, quick production and good tracking. Absolutely first class selection, and with the front window and custom gold leaf script, you can literally create any theme. I went for the "Ode to the Dreadnought..."

Meaghan Nelson Gibb: I do custom orders a couple of times per month and they make it so simple from start to finish. Their customer service is really excellent, the quality is 100% and the shipping/delivery notifications are great! Could not ask for more!

Julie Palangi: Store personnel were disinterested and dismissive. Having been my first time in, it would have been great to be welcomed and asked if I needed any help. Was studiously ignored instead. Weird when there was only 2-3 other customers. Selection was fine, although I'm not sure stamping my name on the cover of a notebook constitutes "custom?" I was expecting to actually create my own journal with specific pages and sections. I should have done homework before trekking up there I guess. Won't be back.

Zack Williams: Awesome place with excellent staff! I was looking at the travelers notebook series or a different Midori product and was having trouble making up my mind. They left me alone for an hour wondering around the shop trying to figure out what I wanted and occasionally making sure I was still good and didn’t need any more help. I look forward to going back on my next trip to DC and will be sure to tell my friends to go here should they be the type who might be interested. The website doesn’t do the selection justice so if you don’t see something you are interested in online, but will be in the area, you should still go in and check it out!

Kavitha: The embossing on the journal was not straight so unfortunately had to get a replacement journal but opted out of the embossing as I didn't want to risk it again. So I just ended up with a regular planner which was quite disappointing. Customer service was very prompt through and I did get the embossing fee refunded so that was great but overall a disappointing experience.

Callan Eschenburg: A great selection of stationary, notebooks, and fine custom journals. Nice selection of pens and some ink bottles/cartridges as well. I have found many great deals in their sale/clearance section as well. Always walk out with way more than I came in for, but still at a great price!
Response: Thanks for the review, Callan! We're happy to be a regular shop for you. Hope you'll be back to see us soon :)

Washington Monument Bookstore: what do users think?

James Walker: Located steps below the Washington Monument, on the National Mall. Large selection of books on the first U.S. President and souvenir shop. You will also find public restrooms at this location.

Jessica Villarreal: We went in search of the National Parks passport book for my friends daughter. The person working, Cornelia Bryant, was AMAZING!!! She helped us so much. She made recommendations about getting the little circle stickers for my passport book (because I forgot it) and she looked through items in the back to see if she had specific year stamps we were looking for. She was also very friendly and patient. I have been to all of the National Mall bookstores at this point and she is the ONLY one who has ever helped me. Highly recommend this bookstore for the Mall over the others for that reason alone. Thanks Cornelia!!!!

Kirsten Neus: Great place to buy a Washington Monument book or souvenir, ask tourist information questions and get your National Park passport stamped.

Subrina W: 💕💕💕💕 Washington DC is beautiful!

Kokob Weldu: Great customer service

Richard Niemczyk: Unfortunately it was closed due to renovation.

Emissary: what do users think?

Martha Wilson: Hip vibe at this neighborhood coffee. Cool interior but lots of space outside. Delicious food and coffee, too. Thumbs up!

Rebecca Peters: I’ve been here several times and had pretty mixed experiences. The staff is super kind and lovely. If you’re there to work, there’s very limited seating with plug access for charging devices. In ~5 visits, I’ve never been able to get on the wifi (even with restarting devices/the wifi itself etc.) The coffee is really good, but other aspects could use some improvement; I ordered a salad (~$15!) expecting it to be pretty substantial at that price. Was disappointed when it came with only a few pieces of grapefruit, half an avocado, and stemmy greens. Overall: go for good coffee, pre-charge your devices, consider not ordering salad.

Thomas G: Amazing avocado egg burrito, and tasty coffee. Lots of gluten free options, and milk alternatives. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Rosa: I love the vibe, the location, the avocado toast, the coffee and pastries of Emissary, but there are a few recurring issues that I hope they address: Some of the staff are very ignorant. You need to ask for one thing several times for them to address. The tables are not always being cleaned after someone leaves. People constantly come and go and sometimes you just get to sit at the dirty table and even when you ask for a napkin to clean the table, the person doesn’t come back. The WiFi also sucks. If you need to do stuff online, you can’t rely on their WiFi.

Tatiana Padilla: Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating; a variety of small plates; and delicious coffee! The space was cute and the staff was friendly. The espresso was a bit fruity and bright— not what I expected. Wish there were more breakfast pastries/breads available throughout the day as the food menu was a bit on the expensive side.

HK: My go-to comfort cafe in the neighborhood. Coffee and pastries are great. They have ample seating space indoors and outdoors, which makes it a great rendezvous point. They offer healthy food options although the portions aren’t big.

Lisa Giorgi: Cozy casual place, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tried the egg sandwich which was tasty. Good for breakfast and work.

Jelena Djokic: Cool, indie coffee place. It serves delicious coffee and pastries. Prices are average. We got a tasty carrot cake cupcake there. The only thing that bugged me was that we took the food outside and there was simply no argonomic way to eat it without getting super messy, so I would recommend that they get utensils for the take-out.

Calvin Lietz: If you can find a table on the weekends, it's hard to imagine a better brunch spot. Great food with creative vegetarian options, excellent coffee (counter culture) and cute English basement spot. A familiar favorite that is always a good option

Bhinesha Seetaram: The best matcha latte. I took mine with almond milk.

Miss Pixie's: what do users think?

Angus Bennion: This store is great! Lots of fun products.

Erin Wagner: I’ve gotten so many high quality items from Miss Pixie’s over the last several years, but today I’m finally leaving the five star review they’ve always deserved! We had scheduled a delivery for them to bring a table we purchased, and Miss Pixie herself rolled up in a pickup truck this morning right on time. It turns out the delivery drivers were stuck in an elevator, but somehow that didn’t stop them at all! We gave her a hand and she didn’t charge us the usual delivery fee to make up for the trouble (what trouble?!). We look forward to continuing to shop at Miss Pixie’s as we furnish our home.

India Lindsay: Store has a variety of furniture, art, and random decorations. Everything is laid out artistically while still being easy to walk around. Majority of items are on the pricier side, though you can find a few steals. I snagged a painted medium-sized pot hand painted in Italy for $12.

Jace Warble: Miss Pixies is a lovely little shop with beautiful pieces, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and price that matches quality. Definitely worth stopping by!

Amy Clerkin: Nicely curated selection of items at reasonable prices. Owner is very responsive to any concerns. We love our vintage couch

MrIrali: One of the cutest boutique home goods stores in DC. And reasonably priced too

keva bates: It was really nice!! I hadn't ever been in there before. The store was a mix of contemporary and nostalgia. There were comic books, marbles, kitchen tools, and furniture. I can't wait to go back.

Brittney Valcin: I absolutely LOVE Miss Pixie’s!! My mother has raved about this place for a long time and I finally had the pleasure of stopping by. They have a wide variety of things for every taste. So much character! I love to buy random things lol. So of course I bought a few things 🤣. One store that is true to “if you love, BUY IT! It may not be there tomorrow!” I WILL BE BACK

Rachael Brown: Everything is over priced just because they say "antique". But that wasn't even my issue. I was in the store for 10 minutes and passed the store employee and was never greeted. I watched her greet other guests who walked in after me and was super cordial to another guest. Cool. I need to furnish my entire apartment, but I'll take my money to someone who wants it.

Alexandra Goodman: Lovely antique store with some really nice pieces. Prices for some of the larger items were reasonable, but pricing was kind of all over the place. Obvious sets of items (chairs, side tables, glasses, etc.) were priced individually which was weird for an antique store. Other pieces were priced way too high, like $95 for an IKEA mirror or $250 for a simple basic wooden console table (which would have been $50 anywhere else but DC). Overall, I enjoyed this store and walking around inside, but I probably won’t buy here due to the pricing.

Trader Joe's: what do users think?

CM F.: This is a very new store. It's clean, spacious, easy parking without time limit, so I enjoyed taking my time explore this store. It has all the stocks that I am familiar and desired. Including the best ice cream! I have visited countless TJ stores in LA, NY, DC, and used to live next door of a TJ as my preferred choice. This one is one of the very best. I highly recommend. It's been a while before my last visit due to Covid sheltered at home. This is still my favorite, and food stocks are even better!

Natalia Suska: Best grocery store in the area! It has the cheapest prices in Georgetown because they do not price surge based on location, like Safeway does. The staff are all really nice and helpful too.

Alex Navarro: Great store. Not enough variety for me to shop there exclusively, but I do love many of their items enough to make a special trip. The service from the staff is always excellent. As with all Trader Joe’s, the parking can be a nightmare. Too many spots jammed in.

Duncan Bishop: Typical TJ's grocery store. Not too much to say. The checkout lines can be a bit long sometime since they're not fully staffed but that's okay. Good selection of wine as usual and the beer options are pretty good.

Lillian Bauer: I visited Monday 03/21/22 around 4:30 pm! Got all my groceries, but unfortunately the woman packed my bags too heavy. I figured my car’s around the corner - I’ll be ok. Well, I was wrong all my items broke through the bag on the sidewalk. Of course all the eggs broke:( I set them aside, picked up my groceries and went to my car before another bag broke. A young brunette woman saw me, ran to my car and offered to run inside and get the items that broke! She was on parking duty. I wish I got her name but let me just say - what a wonderful person!!! This store is beyond lucky to have her!

Maribel Jimeno: The bestTrader Joes in DC. they are increasingly adding more and more fresh unpacked produced which is nice. If only they had more variety of fish and meats, this store would be perfect.

paula douglas seidel: This is my favorite Trader Joe's in the area. Great parking. The store is bigger than others and always efficient!!!! Great selections of flowers too!

Peyton Doyle: Favorite Trader Joe's in the DC area, hands down. 14th Street and Bethesda are chaos compared to this. There is dedicated parking underneath (which you can actually navigate). It is also brand new and exceptionally spacious. There is also a larger selection of items available here than other Trader Joe's. I will certainly return.

YOUNG-i The GOD: Great customer service goes a long way. Always clean, lines get long but move fast, and they of course have some of the best produce and vegan products on the market. And I don’t think anyone beats their wine prices!

DC Explorer: I know I'm in the minority, but I never understood the enthusiasm about Trader Joe's. So I asked some friends. One likes the variety and price of produce. The other likes the wines and ready-made items. I'm drawn to the international foods but they aren't the healthiest. So I see lots of things that look delicious but I have to pass on most of them. So, for me, it's a great place for an occassional, unique treat. To each his/her/their own. I also have to praise the cashiers---excellent service.

Larry's Homemade Ice Cream: what do users think?

Audrey Osburn: Larry’s is awesome! Wonderfully homemade ice cream without so many of the additional ingredients/preservatives/emulsifiers that big companies use. Not to mention Larry himself was there! He’s a gentleman and made my boyfriend I feel welcome and made us laugh. Great atmosphere and ice cream here.
Response: Thank you for coming to Larry's and for your sweet review❣️ We are so pleased you enjoyed your Homemade Ice Cream❣️

Lloyd Spencer: My vanilla chocolate chip ice cream cone with a perfect ending to a very long day. Homemade ice cream that is very creamy and actually made by the owner.👍👍
Response: Thank you for your sweet review! We're so happy you enjoyed your ice cream cone!

Nate B: This place was great. The ice cream was really good. Service was fantastic. It is a little hidden gem that has been there over 30 years. I would definitely recommend this place.
Response: Thank you for your Sweet review! We think you're a gem too!

Sophronia Vachon: This place truly is a hidden gem! The ice cream was delicious and not too sugary, prices were reasonable for the part of town (near Dupont Circle). But the best part is the owner Larry! He has a sarcastic sense of humor and had us laughing the entire time. I think some people mistake his humor for rudeness, but we loved it.
Response: Thanks for your sweet stars and sweet review!

Eamon Kostopulos: Larry is a just man who has been put on this Earth to do one thing, serve delicious ice cream. His loving but firm attitude is purely for efficiency. If you have had a bad experience at this place it is purely because you didn’t live up to Larry’s standards. The ice cream is top notch in DC and I can easily say I will be going again.
Response: Thank you, finally someone who understands Larry! We are, so please you had a great experience and will be coming back. Can't wait to see you again❣️

Lacey LeCroy: Best ice cream. It has that homemade creamy flavor. The strawberry cheesecake flavor is amazing. My son says it is the best vanilla he has ever had. And Larry is a funny guy too.
Response: Thank you for your sweet review! We're very happy your little man loved his Vanilla ice cream!

Frazier Gray: Was not impressed. Larry's was recommended, but found the older guy (presumably the owner) to be a bit crass and too familiar with foul language. Moreover, you have allllll these delicious sounding flavors, but cannot taste any of them before paying $5.91 for one scoop + 1.99 for a waffle cone + 10% tax (times 2) + milkshakes $9.10 + tax (times 2)... for $37. PLEASE Stop citing COVID as the reason that you cannot give samples (even Rita's give samples now, along with other creameries), when you are not even wearing masks and no visible COVID protocols in place...just sounds like a cost saving measure that is not being passed on to the customers.

Holly Gross: Just wrapping up our trip in DC and stopped by for ice cream. Excellent selection and so tasty! Larry kept us entertained too. Funny guy!
Response: Thank you for your sweet review and visiting Larry's during your trip into DC!

MATIAS STIPICEVIC ETCHEGARAY: The worst experience I’ve ever had in Washington DC. Larry was rude, disrespectful and denigrated my family because we are Latin. Absolutely shameful and disgusted by his attention. I don’t recommend this place at all. You can buy ice cream from CVS a block from here and its way better and overall will be a happier experience. Don’t come to this place.

David Goldstein: Been here before and prices were much higher than they should be, but ok it’s DuPont. Came in tonight and the gentleman behind the counter had such a rude tone and just came across grouchy. If you’re going to charge over $6 for a cookie bar the service better be top notch. There are other places more worth your dollars than this one.
Response: Hello Mr.Goldstein, It's a shame you feel that way Sir. The cookie you refer to is called the Incredible Cookie. It is a 5 layer brownie that has been made by us since 1984, nearly 40 yrs. We are one of the institutions whch have survived more than two resetions, roits and now covid. We are not rich enough to use cheap ingredients and sell mediocre goods. When asked if it is any good, in reference to products we've sold for so long, we usually always answer back with sarcastic humor. Lawrence J Cenkci Owner

IKEA: what do users think?

preservefootprints: The right place for everything , is a one stop service from furniture checkout, ideas for designing your future whatever rooms, and to Swedish food! This is our fave’s, the IKEA food court! The warehouse was huge, you can also come to practice walking or exercise during extreme weather. They have variety of food selection, all come with healthy calories calculation. Our favorites always Swedish meatballs, fried chicken and the desserts. Have you tried their veggies balls? It’s taste almost the same as the meatballs, but more delicious! Don’t miss out on the side dish, it’s a perfect combination with veggies balls and the sauce. We’re all facing the same issues here at this moment, some if not all items are out of stock! You have to be prepared if you’re running a project, either come as grab as the stocks are ready or visit the store multiple times.

Samone Jones: Old faithful IKEA. Great new furniture. I came to look at the faucets and grab a quick lunch. As always you can get some great design ideas and gadgets for the home. My favorite are the duvets - they can always give a fresh look to a room. The food is pleasant. I got the Swedish meatballs, mash potatoes, and fries.

Giovani Guarnieri: Furniture and all you may need for your house and office you can find here. Prices are good. But you have to carry out by yourself and put it together in your house to... I like to do like that but if you don't like it will be a problem. Will be back soon

Mahjabeen Mitu: In general Ikea products are always price worthy and presentable, so you won’t struggle much to fit with your budget and planning. They have huge collection but their catalogue based marketplace will help you to get your desired one quickly. I’ve been using their products since 2013 and it never makes me disappointed. If you love to decorate your home and garden, really a great place to get a complete package of ideas! On a separate note, they have a Swedish food market of vivid collections, so you can enjoy chocolates, cookies, coffee and etc. of swedish flavor right there. Also, I would highly recommend to visit their food courts, foods are awesome! If you have an Ikea family membership, you will get discounts on foods and all kinds of beverages are free for you ☕️🍹🍸. Interestingly, they do birthday wishes to the members each year offering worth of $10 coupon and a frozen yogurt of any flavor🍦 🍦

Djey Kanjaria: Awesome place to buy furniture and household items. Also they serves delicious food. Must visit

Candie W: If you want to build it....IKEA and a little patience is all you need. I have a bit of both ;--) I frequent this Ikea because I want to achieve my own personal "carrie bradshaw" type of closet (the ladies will understand).....I also want a PAX spa cabinet. So, although I could give them 3 stars - I know they are 4 star worthy.... Here lately though, I am becoming very frustrated. Lots of things are temporarily unavailable or discontinued without notice. Makes it extremely hard when you have a large project to achieve. ALSO! This weekend they advertised their annual Julboard and I was exited for the festivities....BUT, as with everything else - IKEA missed their usual mark. I believe it is due to the pandemic but I am disappointed. I don't want IKEA to be in comparison to Walmart, Costco, or Sam's...I hold them in a higher regard....but, empty shelves - displaying things on the showroom not available - Costco type sampling....this is not you IKEA!!!! I know because I am here all the time..... BRING IKEA back!!!!!!

Sebrin Adem: As a real estate agent who serves the tri-states of MD,DC,VA and as an investor option like IKEA is a blessing. Lately, I see a lot of improvements in the home appliance and kitchen section kudos. I am like a kid in a candy store coming here. I wish IKEA will start offering professional account set up to get extra perks and discounts. I love coming here and Woodbridge location.

Charley: Overall rating of 4.7, went shopping in search of a specific type of bed frame. Was disappointed when I was informed they did not have that model in stock and opted to instead settle for the "Malm" variant. Buying the bed was super easy, when I confronted an employee he told me exactly what I needed to purchase. The bed came in 4 different items and the overall assembly of it was not too bad. However, take this with a grain of salt because I am a master builder and the process was mildly engaging.

Stephanie Jackson: IKEA literally has everything. I needed a table to match another piece of furniture I purchased from IKEA to place my record player on. Of course they had the perfect piece. It took 5 minutes to put together. Super cute and super easy.

Abi Maghamfar: Ikea is a great place for do it yourselvers and those who don't mind assembling their own furniture. The prices are good and the return policy is generous at 365 days! However on a recent visit to the College Park, MD store it was obvious they are having a hard time keeping their shelves stocked. Almost 1/3 of shelves were bare or limited stock. We had to change plan for a bed because they did not have the mattress we wanted and the support slats for the bed. It would be helpful if they mark out of stock items in the showroom so you don't have to go to the warehouse to find out they're out and then you have to start all over! On a positive note, I commend Ikea for their commitment to environment by installing solar panels all over their parking lot.

Trader Joe's: what do users think?

MsqueenPatti Mckinney: My first 🥇 time visiting this store 🏪 location it was very cleaned & well stocked cashier was very helpful' my first time buying this product omg 😳 it's delicious 😋🤤.

Chris: One of the Trader Joe's we have been and the experience is always a thrill. We always says we don't wanna over spend but we always tend to go over budget. Other than that this TJ is nicely laid out not the typical TJ stores since it's inside a building. The plus about this place is that they have free parking inside with 90 minutes maximum.

tena holmes: Still didn't have the lemons ice cream and sweet potatoe gnocchi but it's my favorite store even though my son doesn't work there anymore.

Ashley Robinson: Very racist location. They hate people of color here. Also the produce is Always rotten and covered in mold n furry fuzz. I bought a carton of grapes and it had a dead flue in it just chilling. THE Strawberries were rotten and blueberries. Just trifling. DO NOT BUY HERE!!! IF U DO PLEASE PLEASE CHECK TYE ITEMS

Kye Lippold: Always a great selection of products. Although TJ's in general can get a bit crowded, this location is roomier, which is nice. The line is long, but moves quickly.

Vincent White: Very good food and at great prices for the health conscious people of the world and if you haven't visited one Google it find one and put it on your list of things to do.

K M: Great grocery store. It's especially nice when you're just shopping for one or two people -- lots of ready made meals that just need a quick microwave. It does get super crowded and can feel a bit chaotic at peak times. There are several occasions where they have run out of popular items. It's pretty fun if you're in an adventurous spirit, I almost always end up buying something yummy I hadn't tried before.

Tammie HOLLOWAY: Who don’t love TJ’s and this location did not disappoint. The store was clean and the shelves were fully stocked! Excellent wine section!!!

Crystal Venable: Its okay good customer service so I appreciate that clean store this was at Union Market couldn't find my Coffee Creamer had to get half and half.Clean bathroom appreciate that too.

Brittney Hamilton: Best Trader Joe’s in the DMV! Great customer service always and I like the flow of the store.
