Courtenay O'Connell
Courtenay O'Connell: We were staying at Hampton across the street, and decided to try their happy hour at F&D. Prices were good. Staff was excellent & really hustling. We didn’t have to wait long for food and drink. The spicy pork riblets were just okay - not much meat. He really wanted the hot dog ($6) and tater tots ($4), but they didn’t have them. Huge disappointment. I enjoyed my shrimp spring roll & Margarita (wanted it sweeter, though). The Margarita packed a punch! Or I’m a lightweight. Or both! I would have tried the other Spring Rolls, but hubby wanted something more to eat, and nothing on the menu appealed to him. Oh, well. Can’t please everyone.
Response: We hope you all will return sometime to explore more of our great menu! -Tiffany
Corey
Corey: A bit high end but the prices reflect the quality. We stopped here for dinner Saturday the 18th around 730. Our server Justin was great providing suggestions for cocktails (made with their own liquor) and food. We ended up doing appetizers for dinner and drinking a few rounds of delicious cocktails favorites included the bread platter, the barrel aged old fashioned and the bourbon maple smash. After it was all over we wished we had ordered from their excellent dinner options and hope to come back and try more of their excellent food.
Response: Thank you so much for dining with us! Please come back soon! -Jessica
Bobbi DeAnda
Bobbi DeAnda: Love this place! My husband and I went here for our anniversary and then again for his birthday! It’s definitely a treat. The half pound Louie is AMAZING! Drinks are pricey but tasty. The food is SOOOO good. Will definitely be back for special occasions!
Response: Thank you so much for the amazing review and celebrating your anniversary and your husbands birthday with us! We look forward to having you join us again! We can not wait to serve you! :) -Najjah
Simple Life Keekee
Simple Life Keekee: The restaurant overall decor is the BOMB, so clean and the workers are so informative and The drink I attempted to drink was their Strawberry and ginger Margarita (You have to love Ginger) overall the drink was good and I loved it. The crab and Artichoke dip was good wasn’t hot like in favor but was good. the burger was good as well need a little more seasoning however it was a 9/10 recommendation
Teresa Simmons
Teresa Simmons: Incredible food and service. Interesting menu choices, very unique. Loved the cherry blossom dessert. The noodles in the cumin lamb dish were so good. Large variety of wonderful cocktails too!! Definitely get the dumplings appetizer, it is so good!
Response: Thank you so much, Teresa! You named all of our favorites too! :) -Kerry
Arn Heggers
Arn Heggers: Service has always been stellar, no question. The food was good, but for the price point, there is a higher expectation. The bread on my Reuben was dry and the meat was slightly overcooked, giving it a very chewy texture. Fries were cooked perfectly. Just the right amount of saltiness. Overall, it was a good diner experience.
M Lopez
M Lopez: This restaurant was highly recommended by friends, and I made sure to make reservations in advance. Was our 1st stop in DC, unfortunately it was a huge disappointment for us. Dinner started well, we were seated fast, ordered a drink, and bread basket which arrived fairly quickly, but after that, our food took more than 30 minutes, waitress never acknowledged us again and when the food finally came, she only said that the kitchen was busy, nothing more. Menu stated the pasta was homemade, not impressed. Fried green tomatoes were awful and their signature dish, fried chicken with mac and cheese was ok, Bojangles is better and much less expensive, lol. The only good thing was the drink and the corn bread.
Response: Oh no! I am so sorry we failed to impress this time. I know our team can do better and the dishes you mentioned- are so good! I would love to have you come back so that we can turn this around. Please email me at Hospitality@FRG.farm with a copy of your review, date dined, and location. -Kerry

Mansa Gurjar
Mansa Gurjar: All day all year round on campus dining with versatile options. Buffet by the weight, noodle bar, coffee bar, Deli and a bar for happy hour and drinks. You can also find some pastries, salad bowls, fruit bowls and different snacks to grab and go. Whether you want to relax and eat sitting there or quickly get some takeout you will find everything you want at this place. Good vegan and vegetarian options too!
LaVelle Foreman
LaVelle Foreman: Its an on campus eatery. The pad thai noodle bowl is the best..... The portions are generous. They have an amazing Illy Coffee Bar & the staff are wonderful and super friendly.
Joe Vitale
Joe Vitale: Every time here the staff has been incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Janai in the bar. Great times always
PH CERT
PH CERT: My last review was flawed. I put too much buffet food on my plate. The price should have been 9$, which was great. I was just greedy.
Sylvia Yacoub
Sylvia Yacoub: Love this spot on campus - great to do work and detox after classes. Best part is the truly lovely and talented bartender, Janai. She makes the experience so much better and really takes care of the people who come in. Plus, her drinks are amaaaazing
Edward Zarkowski
Edward Zarkowski: I like the food here overall. Good selection on the buffet. Several made to order stations too. I tried the noodle bar recently, it was quite good.
Sachet Barnett
Sachet Barnett: Very clean and organized. Hot food bar is based on weight which can become pricey. Offer beyond burgers, hopefully they will incorporate vegan cheeze. Breakfast-Dinner.

Ardavan Tookaloo
Ardavan Tookaloo: It is a very cozy restaurant and bar. There is option to seat inside or outside with heaters for winter. Servers are so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good. The food is fresh and tasty. Drinks are good too. Just remember it is always crowded and packed. Even if you make a reservation you might still wait for another 45 minutes and that’s what has happened to us however the hostess was so kind and offered us a couple starters on the house to cover for the delay. Update: the more I go here the more I love it, specially the crews and managers! They are the best! Last time/night we were there late to celebrate a birthday and we ordered burgers with fries, after 15 min our waiter came back to us informing us they are out and offered us free desert to make up for it! The food is great as always but these kinds of attitudes and kindness is something we love and respect. Thank you guys we had a great night with great deserts! The chocolate ice cream which I believe is home made is a must to try! Super delicious!
Response: Thank you, Ardavan! We are thrilled that we have been able to turn around your previous impression! Also, we appreciate you dining with us and look forward to your next visit! -Tiffany
Kenzi LA Toy
Kenzi LA Toy: A beautiful environment, the ambience was amazing. The server informative, but the orders compromised and wrong. I ordered the Honey Pot Chicken with fries as ah replacement but had the remind the server of my request because I received the original order with grits. Once I did get my fries there was hair added to my order. It was irritating! They finally brought out my fries and ah manager. The manager comp. Us dessert but part of the dessert order was wrong. All in all, in patience and understanding we had ah great time! Please note - everything here is made fresh. So ordering a soda means canned and no free refills! Just saying... #ᑕᕼOOᔕEᕼᗩᑭᑭY !
Response: Thank you for your feedback, Kenzi! I am glad the manager took care of the issues during this experience and I hope we will knock it out of the park the next time you join us! :) -Kerry
Kent Brackin
Kent Brackin: Great food and drinks. Everything seems to come with a mint topping so if thats not your thing might want pay extra care to the menu. There was plenty of seating when we went for brunch but i would suggesting making a reservation because it started to fill up over the two hours we were there. Breakfast stops promptly at 11 AM so make sure you plan according if you want try their amazing waffles! Bathrooms only have 3 urinials/1 toilet for male and two for the females so a line can quickly form trying to go. Waitresses/waiters seem really knowledgeable about the menu items but sometimes their response time can be less than ideal especially once the restaurant starts to feel up, but overall o had a great experience and look forward to going again!
Tina Marbury
Tina Marbury: The atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was admirable. The server arrived with a smile and an eagerness to assist and please our first visit here. The food although amazingly plated arrived tepid and bland. However, the alcoholic drink served was very good.
Response: Thank you for sharing, Tina! We hope to have you return to give us another try. We would love the opportunity to guide you to a meal you will truly enjoy! -Tiffany
Y Li
Y Li: This is a nice and vibrant American restaurant. We opted for the outdoor lunch. Highly recommend the Mussel Pot in White Wine & Garlic, serviced w. their specialty rustic white boule bread, fluffy and lightly chewy, perfect balance dipping in the wine sauce. Shrimp fries and biscuits are tasty. Our lady server was warm and considerately brought one extra pot of hot water for the green tea pot to be shared.
Response: Thank you for your review, Y Li! Eating outdoors is always a great experience with the view and fresh air! Please come again! -Xenia
Jessica R
Jessica R: I was really excited to eat here based on several recommendations. However, I was a bit disappointed. We had breakfast here on a Friday morning and it wasn’t very busy when we got there. We still had to wait awhile on a table which we were okay with. I got the chicken and waffles and I felt as though for the price I was paying the piece of chicken was rather small and I maybe received a teaspoon of gravy. The chicken was also mostly breading and not a lot of meat. I also didn’t get any butter for my waffles and the waffles were just room temperature at best. The service was rather slow throughout the meal and unfortunately when you are waiting on something for your food (like the butter), then your food gets cold. I also got a Bloody Mary which was mediocre and slightly watered down, but I am kind of picky about my Bloody Mary’s so it was just one I didn’t like as much as others I’ve had. I am still giving three stars because my mom enjoyed her meal and didn’t have any complaints about her food. She just did the “build your meal” option and thought it was good.
Response: Hi, Jessica. I am very sorry to hear we delivered a less than stellar experience to you Monday morning. I do hope you will try us again and let us deliver a much better experience. -Kerry
TexCat
TexCat: WONDERFUL lunch here. This is a great spot. Trendy restaurant with a cool vibe. Great service. Wonderful food and drinks. Ordered the mussels in wine and garlic sauce. Truly one of the best dish of mussels I’ve ever had! The accompanying bread was marvelous also! Couldn’t resist the bread pudding 😋 Highly recommend
Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your visit with us! Please join us again soon! :) -Kerry

YOUNG-i The GOD
YOUNG-i The GOD: Great service, hot and prompt food. I tried the clam chowder and salad. It was my first time trying clam chowder and it was pretty good. I also asked to swap the regular salad with the mix greens (no croutons). Everything tasted fresh. Also had a margarita and the sugar free cheesecake. Really surprised at how good that sugar free cheesecake was! Also, our waitress Brittany was excellent and attentive.
Response: Thank you so much for this review. We're glad you enjoyed our Clam Chowder, salad, and great service. We look forward to seeing you again soon for some more of our Low-Licious Cheesecake.
Eric Olkewicz
Eric Olkewicz: I had a great experience here. We were able to make a reservation and got seated right away without having to wait, on a Saturday night. Our Servers name was Colby and he was great! He was attentive to our needs and frequently checked up on us to see how we were doing. The food itself was delicious, as it always is. Love the bread especially. I highly recommend going here.
Response: Thanks for your review, Eric. We're glad you enjoyed the delicious food and great service our team provided during this visit. We hope to see you again soon.

Meet Miss Sallyy
Meet Miss Sallyy: Their food in this location is not as good as the one in Bethesda. I used to be a big fan of Cheesecake Factory.
Response: We are so sorry you were not satisfied with your meal, Sally. Next time, please let our managers know if anything can be improved so we can do our best to make it right. Thank you for your review, and we hope to see you again soon.
Kerrie Blackwell
Kerrie Blackwell: My family and I went to celebrate my mother’s birthday around 3pm. We were a group of 6 people. Upon entering there is a sign about happy hour that starts at 4. The hostess seats us upstairs and the waitress was amazing. But when we asked about happy hour we were then informed that happy hour was ONLY for DOWNSTAIRS!?. So after we ordered food and ate a couple of us decided to order happy hour drinks from downstairs. After we ordered our drinks we returned upstairs after paying. After we paid upstairs a few of us returned downstairs for happy hour drinks where a new hostess/manager told the bar tenders not to serve us without expressing that to us not explaining why. So after a few moments I asked anyone I was with if they had ordered, it was not until then the hostess/manager decided to explain to us that she wasn’t serving us because WE HAD A TABLE UPSTAIRS!! Upset I expressed that we actually spent at least $250 in the restaurant and closed the tab and left the table already. She continued to say she can’t serve us and didn’t give an explanation why so we just left and told her CHEESECAKE FACTORY will no longer be a restaurant choice of ours.
Response: Hi Kerrie, we are very sorry for this experience with our staff. We'd like to speak with you more. Please visit our website’s Contact Us page. Select "General Questions and Comments" from the menu and allow us a few days to get back to you. Thank you.
Eli Argueta
Eli Argueta: This is by far the worst Cheesecake I’ve ever visited. I’m also not one to leave negative reviews but the food was BLAND and flavorless!! Also our waiter always forgot about us!! Had to wave him down Like I was at a concert! Than after 2 and half hours of mostly waiting around. Only spent a few minutes actually eating because the food was bad. I decided to pay my bill and order our desserts at the to-go section. They also took long (wasn’t busy) and I ordered 5 cakes and only received 4!! The one they missed being the birthday persons cake!! This restaurant has literally made me so upset, i spent over $200+ For horrible service and food!! Cheesecake is expensive too and I didn’t receive it. Honestly unhappy and mad.
Response: Hi Eli, we are terribly sorry for the food and service you received. We know you are frustrated and we would like to understand more. Please contact us by going to our webpage - http://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/connect. Click "General Questions and Comments" from the Contact Category drop-down menu. Thank you.

Jasmine Ramos: On 2/15/22 me and my fiancé were having a day in DC and we had a lovely server named Anna, kind and humorous. Brought everything in good time even though she had another table she made sure to take care of everyone, good place for a quick lunch enjoyed everything food was amazing and Anna was too! Thank you Anna :)
Response: Hi Jasmine, thank you for your review. We're glad you and your fiancé enjoyed our amazing food and service during this visit. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez
Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez: Amazing customer service! The outdoor dining is just soo extremely gorgeous, spacious and clean in every way. You have a lovely view of the water, the Sweden Embassy, and just the river! The food was just next level, specially the octopus that was cooked to perfection and I will certainly have it again when I come back to bring my boyfriend.
IamJoedie S
IamJoedie S: This was my first time and the experience was awesome. We came for a birthday dinner. A party of 12 arriving at 5 PM on a Sunday. We had two servers they were on top of everything. There was never a moment a glass was empty. Food service was quick hot and absolutely delicious. I had the steak was absolutely surprise when the potato came out with macaroni and cheese…must order if, no when you come. If you’re looking for a sexy restaurant to have a brunch, lunch and or dinner this is definitely the spot it overlooks the water great date spot. I will definitely come back again. Next time for the brunch. I hear that it is phenomenal. Come. Eat. Drink. Enjoy!
jen w
jen w: I gave this 3 stars because of a couple reasons first we had a reservation Saturday at 1:30 pm for their tapas brunch. They were super slow getting our food to us at the beginning. We ordered two rounds of food before the waitress came back and told us it was last call. We were barely there an hour. There is a 2 hour limit, I feel that if they have reservations till a certain hour they should allow the two hour minimum for people. It’s 64.95 per person they aren’t doing a favor for anyone. Next we chose to sit inside and it was obnoxiously loud. There was a group of people that were talking and screaming to each other, while I’m glad they were having a good time management should have asked them to simmer down because all the rest of us could to was watch them because u couldn’t talk for the noise. Having said all that, the food was very good. We opted for Bellinis and Mimosas. They were very good. The waiters walked around with carafes of Champagne and refilled you. My glass never got empty. I would go back here but make an earlier reservation and in cooler weather where I could it on the patio so I don’t have to deal with the noise.
John Varkey
John Varkey: We came for an anniversary dinner. The hostesses were a bit surly and disinterested but our waiter was great. The views are fabulous. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the lobster scampi. They were both fabulous but according to my wife the lobster had the edge. We went for a nice stroll along the water and around Georgetown after dinner. A very nice evening was had.
Kat B
Kat B: Loved this place so much. My partner and I came here for our anniversary, not only was the view beautiful but the energy/service of the staff was amazing . The food was spectacular, definitely get the burrata if they have it ! We were pretty full but still made room for dessert and an espresso which was also delicious . Definitely recommend for a date night/ celebration . Prices were in line with the portions/ambiance .
Crystal Sings
Crystal Sings: Beautiful simply Beautiful 💜My daughter and I brought my mom to last Saturday’s brunch for her 80th birthday and we really enjoyed the service, food, and ambiance of the restaurant. George, our waiter was awesome and made our experience so memorable! Thank you George!
elizabeth rose
elizabeth rose: Visiting from florida and this restaurant was highly recommended by locals and im delighted i took their advice! The atmosphere was great, very inviting and scenic, indoor and outdoor seating offered with a nice view of the river. food was really good and exceeded expectations and the server Dominique went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our experience :)

Tenny Kristiana: First time here and I’m impressed. Warm and quick service, food are great. If you want to try both, savory and sweet, better to get combo. It is a good deal! Def will visit again next time
Chukwudi Osondu
Chukwudi Osondu: Absolutely delicious crepes! The savory and sweet combo with a soda for $15 is a great deal! I got 2 of the Obama sweet crepes, the south beach savory crepe, and the DR. J savory crepe! All super yummy!
zwawe xm
zwawe xm: The crepe dough was cooked on high heat which resulted in the dough not evenly being cooked. The amount of Nutella was very generous and great. I would love to see more fruits as its pricey. 🍫🍫🍫🍓🍓🍓🍌🍌🍌 The place is good clean and hard working staff. The decor is on point and very welcoming. ⭐⭐⭐👍👍👍 Looking forward to trying savory items next time 😋😋😋
Mahdi Shirvin
Mahdi Shirvin: The food was good, I wish I felt same about their interior and atmosphere.
Adam Gerlach
Adam Gerlach: I love this place. We came with a friend as part of his tradition, and how to make it is as well. Hopefully someday you will be in Utah.
Jennifer 怡慧 Lin
Jennifer 怡慧 Lin: Love the offerings, lots of savory and sweet options and the portion is big!!!! The crepes tasted really fresh and fulfilling, staff were very nice too!
Squirrely
Squirrely: A really great stop for a late night snack or dessert. They have a good variety of both sweet and savory options as well as chips and soup. The crepes are good, but I wish there was more variety on the sweet side of the menu. It would be great to see additional fruit offerings beyond strawberries, bananas, and blueberries.

Milk Bar Logan Circle Flagship: what do users think?
India Lindsay
India Lindsay: A classic, must-try dessert shop. Cereal milk soft serve is yummy and refreshing. The milk bar “crack” pie is great - we found it tasted better after taking it home and letting it sit in the fridge for a bit. The staff were friendly and offered generous samples. Gotta watch the Chefs table documentary on the founder before going - she has an inspiring story and helps you appreciate the dessert so much more (not that you need much help)
Maya Imani
Maya Imani: Honestly, quite disappointing. Not with the staff or this particular store but with Milk Bar in general. How do you mess up soft serve? I was expecting “cereal milk” ice cream to be sweet, but it tastes like the milk from corn flakes (yuck). Not sure about any other menu item but if the ice cream isn’t good, can anything else be?
Jeff White
Jeff White: I tried this spot since my usual spot on 13th is now closed. The ice cream did not disappoint. They were out of corn flakes toppings so I went with cinnamon toast toppings. I loved it but not as good as corn flakes. Also surprised they had a parking lot.
Jamey Sadownick
Jamey Sadownick: Eek. I love red velvet cheesecake and had been seeing ads on social media for Milk Bar’s version. It tastes good, but nothing extraordinary. The very average-sized slice you see here is $10. Really not worth it. Cheesecake Factory’s version is less expensive and considerably more decadent and delicious. This left me feeling meh.
keith singleton
keith singleton: Ordered from uber eats. And omg gluten free options finally! Got the marshmallow cookie and bday cake both gluten free specifically. The cookie is freaking amazing I regret not getting the 3 pack. I havent tried the gluten free cake yet. Am grateful to have another gluten free dessert option cuz not many places offer this for those of us with celiac disease.
Merissa Pemberton
Merissa Pemberton: Lavondae D was wonderful! The red velvet cake was definitely worth trying. The milk bar pie was most definitely not worth trying. Disappointed in the cost compared to how thin and small the slice was.
Love EJ
Love EJ: Unique flavor of soft serve items and cake.Strawberry shortcake is really good.
Hanna Foreman
Hanna Foreman: Was a big fan of the owner before coming here and thought the concept was a good idea. Came here over the summer for some ice cream on a hot, swampy DC day. Many of the desserts were sitting on the counter prepackaged and wrapped in plastic. Ordered a cereal soft serve in a cone with no extras that came out to $6. Way too expensive for something basic without a lot of flavor or toppings. Staff was not too friendly and probably will not return.
Josh Dailey
Josh Dailey: The cookies and the cake are unbelievable. I know sometimes they can be a little dry, but for the most part my experiences have been super positive. Cake price is pretty standard for a good cake, which in general is just expensive. I’d definitely go if you’re in the area, get the compost cookie! I’ve tried them all, as you can see in my pictures, and my top 3 are compost cookie, confetti cookie, and blueberry & cream cookie. Don’t miss out!
C Ark
C Ark: Stopped by before they closed. They were very friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit ridiculous for a slice of cake and pie ($17 total) but at least the cake was a decent size (pie slice was tiny). Both the cake and pie were delicious.

Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee: what do users think?
Mischa
Mischa: Very good, classy, and modern place. This place is definitely worth a visit or more. I have been here quite a few times myself and had their chai latte, hot chocolate, and cappuccino. They are all great! I also tried their affogato, but at a different location, which was also great! This place is in a great location as well.
Riley Hoagland
Riley Hoagland: What an amazing place to experience super flavorful sorbetto! I chose the pineapple honey lime and champagne mango. It was not too sweet and really felt like the best blended and freshest versions of the fruit!
arun varughese
arun varughese: Excellent coffee and gelato. Tried a bunch of flavors by tasting and finally bought the lemon cardamom and pistachio. Both were excellent. Lemon cardamom: Very slight cardamom flavor and a weak lemon profile. Pistachio: Strong pistachio flavor and I loved it. Sorbet: tasted a bunch of them and did not feel as good as the gelato. Hazelnut latte: Nice hazelnut flavor.
Wei Hsu
Wei Hsu: The gelato is the best! They provide many different and unique flavors for you. You can have a cone for free!
Claire Mizutani
Claire Mizutani: Got some dessert here with my dad the other night. I was surprised but pleased that a small can be two flavors. My dad got Clementine and Pineapple honey lime. He said he enjoyed both but the pineapple flavor was a bit weak. I order Hojicha and Marscapone and berries. The Green tea flavor was incredible and not too sweet or bitter. We got a to go cup for my mom but I didn’t hear her opinion on the flavors. They have a sign that shows where they are sourcing their ingredients that I thought was nice. I wish there was some outdoor seating but I can understand if their location doesn’t permit them to offer that.
A S
A S: Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee is a great place for a sweet creamy treat and an espresso. The mascarpone gelato was my favorite. It was very creamy and rich. All the other flavors are fantastic as well.
Andrew Windheim
Andrew Windheim: Late afternoon visit this past Saturday. Had the dark chocolate and Vietnamese cinnamon gelato and a americano. Gelato was great, the combo of flavors was interesting. Im not a fan of americano coffee but the regular was out. That said coffee had really nice flavor and smooth finish. Place was very busy. Location is great, right , one block from National Gallery and Capital One Arena and on the edge of high end shopping mall. Particularly nice spot this time of year with Christmas decorations up.
George Basily
George Basily: Best Gelato I had in town by far! One of the few times where we all regretted nit getting a large cup instead of small. The store was clean and the employees were really helpful and efficient. All the flavors we tried were so good and we truly enjoyed them. Prices were very reasonable to the quality and quantity. Would definitely be stopping by again.

Corner Bakery: what do users think?
Swastika Nohara
Swastika Nohara: Nice Cafe with good selection of pastries and egg for breakfast and lunch. We had ham sandwiches and omellette that comes with bread and a cup of fresh fruit. Loved it! Cinnamon roll is also good. The Coffee is just average. But for warm breakfast we are happy!
Sahar Bayounis
Sahar Bayounis: I ordered the half chicken sandwich with a side of tomato soup. It was so good! I also recommend the sweet crisps. They’re really addictive. I just didn’t like the attitude of the cashier lady, she was rude and unwelcoming unfortunately.
Marcy
Marcy: Pricy. But the food is good. I got a full sandwich with a cup of soup as a $2.99 add on with a small coffee and everything cost $17.68. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is right next to marshals where we bought a charger. There are a few seats next to wall outlets to recharge. Perfect place to eat and charge your phone.
Heather Wing
Heather Wing: Staff shortages and limited menu as of April 2022. Food was decent, but when we visited (Saturday noon), half the fountain drinks were out, no coffee beverages were available. Ordered 2 salads and one was great (see pic), another (Caesar) was pretty bad. Brownie was a frozen brick, and half the dining area was closed. Both trash cans overflowing. My kids liked their food, my meal was good, but I would not return anytime soon.
Mandi Mouser
Mandi Mouser: Great place to eat while trying to warm up!! Sandwiches, soups, salads, and delicious bake goods. Every staff member that we encountered was 10/10! The cashier lady was very warming to my son who is shy and indecisive. She helped us figure out what was the best choice. The food was amazing!!!!!!!!! Would definitely eat here again. ***Plus side…very very close to the White House***
Michelle Dombrowski
Michelle Dombrowski: I wanted to express my gratitude & appreciation for an employee at this Corner Bakery location. The employee is Melinda T. As my family & I visited DC for 7 days for a family vacation, we stayed at the Willard Hotel (which is across the street from Corner Bakery). We frequented this Corner Bakery for breakfast and met Melinda among our travels. It was Melinda’s charming personality that kept us wanting to come back to dine in. Not only is she so sweet & friendly, Melinda is also so damn hilarious. We couldn’t get enough of her humor. Corner Bakery is lucky to have an employee like Melinda because she makes customers feel so welcome, like we were eating at home. Thank you so much, Melinda, for your welcoming hospitality. You are the best & we hope to see you the next time we visit DC. Your friends from Michigan, the Dombrowski family 😉
Drewe Zanki
Drewe Zanki: Good sandwich. Great coffee. Super nice staff.
Karen Zachary
Karen Zachary: The staff literally yelled at one another. One cashier had her kid there. It’s completely unclear where to go for espresso drinks. You can’t read the menu until you’ve walked in a line line and are standing at the cashiers.
Sam Bonson
Sam Bonson: Ordering through this bakery was my worst experience when visiting this city. I asked the cashier lady to help me out with my order as it was my first time in this bakery. And I only got the same answer multiple times: if you’re not ready to order then leave the line. I didn’t know that you cannot get the menu nor ask for it or ask for what is available. The menu was on the wall but too far for me to read. I guess it was a very bad day for that lady. Nonetheless I would not advise any tourist to go there. There are many other options around.

Le Caprice DC Café Bakery: what do users think?
Mark Blanchard
Mark Blanchard: Not so french but not so bad. Pastries were hit or miss. Pain au chocolat was good, but flavored cookies were bland, no flavor at all. Chairs and tables were dirty with food crumbs everywhere. Staff was nice and friendly.
Jared Szuba
Jared Szuba: I have been a frequent customer at this bakery over the past two years. I can’t speak to the desserts, but I’ve had everything on the breakfast menu. Their breakfast sandwiches are sub-par, largely flavorless ingredients, no salt. Almost always a disappointment, but hey, there’s not really anything else around here when you want breakfast on the go. Firstly, the variety of baked goods is impressive. Their lunch sandwiches are hit or miss, I’ve tossed at least one in the can. That’s a problem, given how expensive the sandwiches are. The coffee is just fine, certainly not bad and does the job, but perhaps a bit overpriced for its quality. The croissants, however, hit it out of the park! They’re really as good as people say. Ultimately, I’m grateful to have this place in the neighborhood, disappointing as it can be. It’s a quiet place to work and has nice atmosphere. If the owners put a new effort in, this place could fulfill its high potential.
Saj Popat
Saj Popat: Not worth the 30 min wait for overpriced cold baguette sandwiches.
Anthony Stewart
Anthony Stewart: Dirty—crumbs all over the chairs in the café, they took 20 minutes to bring out my order, the girl working the till looked as though she couldn’t be bothered... 😑 The “pain au chocolate” (simply chocolate croissant here) was actually decent, but the red velvet cake was a complete and utter catastrophe. It tasted old, and the frosting tasted of washing up liquid. It looked so promising, alas! it was just not meant to be. Had to toss it out after two small forks. Not worth a repeat. A “2” is being quite generous.
Kitchen lotus
Kitchen lotus: Le Caprice is a little French and Iranian bakery right here in DC. They`ll make specialty bakery items from small towns in Iran if you ask them to. Super authentic. We first found this bakery when they catered an event at the Smithsonian Asian art Museum (formerly the Sakler). This place is a true gem and I feel so fortunate to have them nearby.
Tammie Smith
Tammie Smith: Not sure why the reviews are so high. Just ate part of a croissant that tasted more like a hardened bread. Likely a combination of being poorly baked then left out to congeal and dry out. Not worth the calories and money. I threw it away.

Founding Farmers DC: what do users think?
Tyler Davis
Tyler Davis: Quality food and drinks! Stopped by while out and about visiting DC with the family. Short walk from several metro stations. Reserved a table during lunchtime the morning we went and was seated minutes after we showed up. Staff was attentive and my drink was never empty. Reasonable prices for the quality food you get considering the location and love the bar menu. Was recommended this place by several people and it was quickly apparent why. Will definitely visit again next time we are in DC!
Response: Awesome! Thank you so much! -Jessica
Jon Schemanske
Jon Schemanske: Really fresh, delicious breakfast! We tried the waffle, pancake, and egg scramble. Obviously made in house - really delicious. Pancakes and waffles were exceptional. Egg scramble was very savory. The coffee is way better than your average breakfast place. Service was quick and friendly. Recommended!
Response: Thank you so much, Jon! -Najjah :)
Konstantinos Rizakos
Konstantinos Rizakos: We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The hosts and servers were polite and effective, albeit the food and drinks took a while to come out. Everything was very very tasty. The meat in particular. Try the prime rib, and the pork chops - but you may want to ask that they cook less than you usually like because ours were slightly over cooked.
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review! Please come back soon! -Jessica
Kimberly Giang
Kimberly Giang: Omg so yummy. Visited DC for the first time and found this restaurant for breakfast. It definitely did not disappoint! It was so yummy we came back the next morning. We reserved a table online and good thing we did because it gets crowded fast. Our table was ready when we arrived and all of the staff was very friendly. Food came out fast. The French toast was so unique and tasted amazing. I loved the Eggs Benedict and how crispy the hash browns were! Definitely would come back!
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review!! So glad you enjoyed your first dining experience with us! We look forward to seeing you again soon! -Jessica
WooDo Jedi
WooDo Jedi: Good service! Our server was outstanding. (Front hostess and host didn’t make us feel welcome though - we felt like cattle coming through the door). Our orders came our timely and had that flavor profile that spoke of home. We would definitely return here!
Response: Though the welcome was not warm, we are thrilled you enjoyed the meal and service! We look forward to your next visit and giving you a great experience from start to finish! -Tiffany
Frankie Painter
Frankie Painter: This is our 3rd time here and WOW, everything we’ve ever ordered has been amazing! We always start with the honey cornbread and this time I got Scallops Meunière with butternut squash risotto and my husband got catfish with grits and green beans. My scallops were cooked to perfection - they cut like butter. The atmosphere here is warm and cozy but lively, although there were way less people this time because of social distancing restrictions. Our waiter was super! We had to show an ID and proof of vaccination. Highly, highly recommend!!
Response: Thank you so much for the amazing review, Frankie! We are so thrilled to read that you and your husband enjoyed your visit with us! We aim to give you a great experience on your 4th visit also! Thank you so much for dining with us! -Najjah :)
Ying Liang
Ying Liang: Friend took me here for dinner when I visited DC. We went on a late weekday evening. Definitely call for reservations ahead of time because it was incredibly crowded. I’m not sure how long we would’ve had to wait if we didn’t plan for that. Our waitress was very nice, food took a while, probably because it was so busy! So plan some time to catch up and relax. It was sort of dark and loud but the restaurant still had nice ambiance. I got the chicken and waffles… and oh my goodness, it was the best fried chicken and the best waffles I’ve ever had. So freaking good. The green beans were crunchy/fresh and the mac and cheese was decent. Not sure what sauce it came with but I was enjoying it! I would probably try to get here for early brunch next time instead. Definitely recommend you stop by if you get the chance.
Response: Thank you so much for the glowing review. Please come back soon! -Jessica

Häagen-Dazs® Ice Cream Shop: what do users think?
lorena S
lorena S: Haagen-Dazs brings me good memories from old days. I’ve been to different locations in Nevada, California, Florida, DC, Texas. I’ve loved their ice cream since I was a teen and would go to the mall and could only afford to buy an ice cream and people watch but this place is always consistently great. I always get the dulce de leche Sunday, it’s the perfect mix of dulce de leche ice cream with bananas more ice cream, whipped cream and more dulce de leche drizzled all over. It’s almost perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner or sure a snack would work too. The place was spotless clean and the area is a nice area were you can walk alone and feel safe and find parking near by. We went close to closing time and the customers continued to come but they continued to serve them and greet them, unlike other ice cream places that don’t want to serve you(we came from another shop were they sent us away due to them not wanting to work because it was 15 mins before closing). I will continue to come to Haagen-Dazs and to this specific location whenever I’m in the area.
Brahim AHMED
Brahim AHMED: They have lots of choices and flavors!Clean place and staff are friendly. The only issue is parking lots!
Mohammad Umair
Mohammad Umair: We already know the ice cream was great! Even though the store was packed, the staff was amazing. They were patient with each individual, polite and were quick.
Nils Hünerfürst
Nils Hünerfürst: Ice is pretty good but no restrooms for customers.
Andrea Dietrich
Andrea Dietrich: My birthday ice cream cake was delicious! Thank you HD GW for making me feel special!Giving 4 stars due to the navigation challenges my husband encountered when picking up the cake.
Chanpen Tee
Chanpen Tee: The staff is friendly. The store is nice and clean. The icecream is delicious
WNFB
WNFB: Ice cream is delicious, but small place to hangout .
Anna Maria Boß
Anna Maria Boß: Ice cream is decent, staff is rude and unhelpful. Refused a three year old child the use of the bathroom, claimed it was a Covid safety measure - while nobody was wearing masks or keeping their distance. Absolutely ridiculous.

Ben & Jerry’s: what do users think?
Brian Copes
Brian Copes: Disclosure- I’m not an ice cream regular eater, but I did have it so here’s my take. Menu - honestly, I wanted a white chocolate flavor but I didn’t see that listed on the menu. I had the strawberry cheesecake (small cup) and it was tasty! Real cheesecake and fresh strawberries too. The staff was super patient with me reading the huge menu. My date got very berry sorbet that was fresh and tasty. I’ll be getting that next time. It’s a nice location for a quick cool treat to help with the summer heat. I would go back to this location again. I say try them out yourself.
Response: Thanks so much! White Chocolate! What a great idea! Thanks for the review!
Lucette Mercer
Lucette Mercer: Ok. I’m a B&J’s fan, almost a groupie. So I was thrilled to see the sign and didn’t mind the line. So it sucked that my only choice was to get my fave Cherry Garcia in the pre-packed pint, but chocolate is a worthy replacement…Then I screwed up and added chocolate sprinkles. They were a bit off. I mean, it was good chocolate ice cream, but it didn’t quite live up to B&J’s. Folks were working hard and pretty efficiently but I also was a little a bit grossed out by the non-service dog in the line and the freezer case (see 3rd pic).
Response: Thanks for the stars! Sorry we missed some! Case was being repaired all good now! and we really cant challenge folks that have "service animals". We kinda have to let that ride. Come try us again and we will get the other two! Thanks
Matthew Fauske
Matthew Fauske: Big fan of using Groupons here. Did that again today and it doesn’t disappoint. Waffle cone Sunday with m&ms, whipped cream and hot fudge and a nice cold brew coffee brownie ice cream.
Shrey Sanger
Shrey Sanger: The ice cream flavour selection is pretty limited and the flavours available in the tubs and as scoops are different. Not ideal, but still ok. But the staff is the absolute worst. One guy serving was probably high and in no state to work. Asked us if we were ready three times in thirty seconds. Then his colleague came over and harassed us. Really bad experience. Get your ice-cream elsewhere.
Logan Hobbs
Logan Hobbs: Super dank, get a Krazy kone for ur cream too
Sean Murphy
Sean Murphy: The line here can get a bit long during peak tourist times (especially later at night), but the staff was always friendly and fast. The flavors were plentiful and served with a smile. I’ll always go with Chunky Monkey, but it’s nice to have options.
Jessica Long
Jessica Long: They provided good service at the end of the night staying open a little after closing time to provide us with ice cream! Only downer was that all the flavors listed were not available. But otherwise, we were glad to get what we could!
Response: Super! always trying to keep in everyone's favorites! We try to keep it all in stock but sometimes all the flavors are not available for us to order through B&J's
Veronica Soto
Veronica Soto: Super friendly employees! The only thing I wished for was that they had Rocky Road so I got a simple 2 scoops of chocolate and vanilla in a cone instead, and it was delicious regardless. Wait time was quick; it’s a bit pricey though which I expected because it’s located in such a nice area. There’s also a nice photo op with cow statues that you can sit on at the storefront.
Response: Way to improvise! Maybe we will work on that flavor for next year!
Maylinn On Route
Maylinn On Route: Very helpfull man behind the counter. We purchased icecream via a Groupon deal and he made sure we were served in a very neat way. Amazing icecream. We will be back!

Denise Walker
Denise Walker: Very disappointing. The service was good, however it was extremely expensive. For one slice of toast and half an avocado it was 15.00. I was outraged. It was 21.00 for a Caesar salad with one thin slice of grilled chicken. I don’t mind paying for good food, but I couldn’t get passed the 15 dollar avocado toast and the puny Caesar salad. If you are going to serve food, go all the way and do it right.
Paul Zhang
Paul Zhang: I have breakfast over here. It was very nice. I choice breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet time 06:30-10:30. The food was delicious 😋! It’s very nice convenient restaurant! A lot of people come here ate breakfast!!! Good service!!! Flavorful salads. Home - made soups. Traditional bistro entree’s with imaginative twists. Desserts 🍨 and wines to savor.👍👍👍👍👍

Milana K: Good breakfast! Sweet employeesFood was fresh and was a good variety

P C: Good restuarant in the Holiday Inn - Capitol. Food is good. Try the salmon. There is also a bar area. Good prices and large menu
Dustan D
Dustan D: Breakfast Buffet was excellent, service was amazing, made to order omelets and otherwise great selection. Was a bit pricey at $17 per person
Vickie Credeur
Vickie Credeur: Breakfast was extremely overpriced, we had pancakes and juice/coffee for 3 and was over $70

Vikram Seshadri
Vikram Seshadri: Came across this nice little bakery on the way to Dumbarton Oaks. They have amazing cakes, croissants and pies. The fruit cheesecake was the best one ever.
Dagmar
Dagmar: The customer service was great. They were friendly, kind and packed my cakes up with care. Cakes were delicious and not overly sweet. I went for two cakes and ended up leaving with four (my own choice) lol I bought extra to share. Coffee was good too a medium to light blend.
Sarah Millet
Sarah Millet: Had some time to kill and stopped here for some pastries and coffee ! Everything was super tasty and authentic ! The coffee was on point and to top it off, they have the cutest patio.
Sarah Diligenti
Sarah Diligenti: The go-to place for Fraisiers cakes and for their scrumptious Hazelnut Yule Log at Christmas. I also love their Americano, which I reserve as a guilty pleasure almost once a month on Sundays, together with their almond croissant. My only regret is that the back patio is too small and shady and sitting outside in the front on the curb kills the joy of sipping an excellent coffee: noise and exhaust fumes dampen the experience.
Mark P
Mark P: Great little bakery that my family and fiance explored when in georgetown. We got coffee from the espresso bar in the back, which were delicious. We got a spinach / cheese savory pastry, a pain au chocolat, and this really cool raspberry mousse/cake thing. All of it was fantastic. Service was really nice and the line moved fast. Bathrooms in the back.
Dania Ramirez
Dania Ramirez: We stopped here for lunch. The coffee was really good and the fruit tarts just delightful. We also ordered a quiche and sandwiches. Everyone was super happy with their orders. I would definitely come back! Highly recommend!
