Wanda Wheeler: I have been going to WCD for a few years now and I always receive exceptional service and care. Dr. Fordjour is an excellent dentist and all of the hygienists and front desk staff are consistently professional and proactive. In particular, Katrina (front desk) went above and beyond to handle an insurance billing concern I had a few months back. While I wish that my insurance could be billed directly, WCD is prompt with sending out invoices so that insurance reimbursement is quick and painless.
Cassaundra Young: Washington Center for Dentistry is such a fantastic organization! Everyone is courteous, professional and accommodating. Dr. Fordjour is easily the best dentist I’ve had! I came in on several occasions and not only is his work exceptional, he was patient with answering my many questions and put me at ease! It’s not every day you actually enjoy going to the dentist but if you must go, I highly recommend this practice!

SarahBW: Dr. Brown and Dr. Pollowitz share a lovely office that is conveniently located in Northwest Washington. Both are exceptional dentists. Each member of their staff is always professional, friendly, and super helpful. They always submit the invoices to my insurance company, so I don’t have to. Ashley has been wonderful (and gentle), working on bringing my mouth back to good health, after I let things slide a little bit. I highly recommend this practice, if you’re new to town or just looking for a change.

Cindy McFarland: I was traveling to DC for work and part of a tooth broke off. DC Dental Spa was able to get me in same day. They were so nice and accommodating. Dr. Hoang laid out all of the options for me and made a recommendation. Then they explained what my insurance covered and what I would owe before they did the work, which I appreciated. I walked away with my tooth fixed until I could get home and have my dentist put on a crown. Great experience!
KT: I found DC Dental Spa when I was looking for a place to have emergency dental work done. I was have a horrible, throbbing toothache for a few days and ended up needing to have a root canal repaired, which was also done here. The dental work was pretty painless (I do have high dental anxiety) and the receptionists and dental hygeniests were very instrumental in creating a comfortable experience. They were kind and informative.

Julie: I had a great experience today! Everyone was friendly, professional and welcoming. The office is modern, beautifully decorated and of course spotless. I really appreciated being able to watch TV during the cleaning, etc. to alleviate some of my anxiety about the visit. It was my first time at this dentist, and I will definitely return and recommend.
Nailah Gallego: I saw Dr. Yee as a new patient for a routine dental cleaning. On arrival I was promptly greeted by the front desk staff. I was brought back for treatment quickly. The dental assistant and hygienist were lovely. Dr. Yee talked me through every procedure, and even discussed the x-ray and photo findings with me. Dr. Yee and her staff provided excellent dental care. I will definitely be coming back!

Chantel: I have had many bad experiences with dental offices and many dentist and staff have left a bad taste in my mouth for years, well that is until I found Rusk and Thornton. Let me first say, you are greeted right away when you arrive through those doors. The front end staff is extremely friendly and will answer all your questions. My dental hygienist (Tracey) and dental assistant (Nick) are the ABSOLUTE BEST!! It is just a great prize when you find a dentist that you actually look forward visiting because you know that he (Dr. T) will take awesome care of you. I am just in awe of the dentist office and will recommend everyone try them out. You will not be disappointed.

Yelena Reznikova: Great experience from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with from the receptionist to the hygienist to the specialist was professional, warm, and competent. I was encouraged to get a deep clean, which I expected given I hadn’t been to the dentist in 2+ years. The results were incredible - it was as if I had my teeth professionally whitened! I also needed to get 3 fillings done. The dentist was able to do all three in <45 min the day of my cleaning. I received an itemized receipt via email, as requested. All in all, very positive experience.
Paul Armstrong: This is the best place for a dentist that I have ever been the orthodontist the dentist the assistants and staff are so knowledgeable. They go above and beyond not to mention with the Covid they are making sure that everyone is safe as can be. They are checking vaccine cards and if you have not been vaccinated they issue a test on the spot to be seen. I had to get a root canal and a crown i was super nervous but the doctor made sure i was comfortable and it went smoothly. Thank you Beautiful Smiles I’m smiling 😁

Tom F: I had to wait for an hour after my scheduled appointment time, when I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long she said the Dr. was running late. When I finally got to see the Dentist and questions why I was not notified that he was running more than an hour late he said he was not running late and that the receptionist failed to sign me in. I then asked the receptionist why she told me the Dr. was running late and she said because he was. The Dentist was standing right next to me and did not say anything to her or me to correct the matter. The staff was exceptionally focused on ordering their lunch and visiting with one another. Definitely not a professional atmosphere, felt disrespected and rushed as, after keeping me waiting they then were in a rush to close up the office for the day. If I were not in the middle of a series of procedures I would find another Dentist.
Sarah Carr: Nightmarish experience. I went here for the first time in January. First, the dental assistant was very sweet and took x-rays. Then, the dentist came in awhile later and it all went downhill… The dentist was sneezing and coughing saying “don’t worry, it’s not COVID.” More importantly, though, the dentist was rude and disrespectful. She was trying to teach the dental assistant a few things at my time and expense. It was clear the dental assistant wasn’t understanding her questions, but the dentist kept asking them over and over and over and getting more visibly annoyed every time… in front of me. Then, when we got all done nearly two hours later, the dentist told me I had several problems and needed a lot of work done. I had a gut feeling that this was not right, so I never scheduled a follow up appointment as instructed. Yesterday I went to a new dentist who is SO good — he respected my time, had good bedside manner, and to no surprise, found NOTHING wrong. Dental Town DC is in the business of making money, not caring for patients.

Jaclyn O'Day: Dr. Tsaknis genuinely cares about his patients. He takes time to educate, explain basics, investigate and address the root cause of issues, and empower his patients to improve their overall dental and oral health. At the first visit to City Dental DC the staff took behind the teeth images with this cool little camera device and also X-rays. Dr. Tsaknis pulled up the images/X-rays on a large screen to ask questions, review my oral/dental health history, point things out to me, and spend time educating and sharing ways to improve my dental care regiment. On subsequent visits, he has continued to take time for patient education on things like reviewing the dos and don’t of proper flossing, electronic toothbrush use, and more. In short, Dr. John Tsaknis is by far the best and most thorough dentist I’ve ever seen and I highly recommended him. If you’re looking for a dentist in the DC area, don’t look any further and go see him for thorough, friendly, and customer-focused dental care. Bonus- if you’re driving to their office, there’s free parking behind the building.
Matthew Kilboy: It’s a shame that I have to write a less than stellar review because I really like my dentist. I opted to do the Invisalign treatment after speaking with my dentist. The cost was steep but my insurance covered enough to make it worth while. I am quite happy with the treatment and outcomes. BUT The office manager has been an absolute nightmare to work with. Had to pay for the entirety of my treatment out of pocket because the manager could not seem to file the right paperwork with my insurance company. I was finally able to get everything to my insurance company and they authorized payment, which went to the dentist’s office. I am now fighting to get my money from the dentist’s office. The same money I had to fight to get from my insurance company.

Anna Rubin: Dr. Kham and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend this office more highly. Dr. Kham is kind, explains his recommendations in detail and patient-friendly language, and does impeccable dental work and cleanings. I did Invisalign with him and the outcome is better than I could have expected. They are always on time, easy to reach by phone, and organized.

Sharada Gilkey: Been seeing Dr. Rothkopf since he started practicing when I was 12 yrs old! (I’m now 61 and gray haired!) Even when I had different insurance and had to see another dentist, I got a consult with him. He saved me $5k in unnecessary dental work that was recommended by the other dentist. Went right back to Dr. R as quick as I could! Sue is also a great hygienist and I was sorry to hear she is retiring, but happy for her. Gail is an awesome assistant and Nancy was great too (she retired last year as receptionist). It’s been a great lifelong experience and I brought family members along the way as well. Oh, and I still have all my teeth! 😁

katarina percopo: I first want to start off by saying that I have never written a review in my life on any business but after my experience with this Dental practice I found it would be ethically wrong of me to not share my experience and warn other people. (Also read the yelp reviews as they expose this business for what it is) I was a patient of Dr. Adam Schwartz about 4 years ago, I decided to leave this practice as a patient as I thought the way they were conducting business was ethically wrong... charging for all kinds of services that were not necessary. In may of 2021 I saw a dollar amount and invoice posted on my credit report thorough a collections agency, I never received a bill from the office and I had not been a patient in over 2 years at that time. I decided to pay the bill as Melissa the billing coordinator said it was for a past service, fine I paid the bill so that it would no longer affect my credit score. Fast forward to December 12th 2021, the same exact amount was posted again to my credit report now under a different collections agency and under Adam Schwartz himself. I called BrandyWine Dental care and asked why it was reported again after being paid. I was told that this was never paid and was yelled and then hung up on again by Melissa. After being yelled at by her and her telling me multiple times this bill was never paid I contacted tek collect as I know I had paid the bill. They said yes it was paid in full and sent me proof of payment in full. I am very concerned as this dentist office is still keeping my personal information on file and they are being fraudulent to the credit agencies by sending the same bill (to which they never sent an invoice to me) to different credit agencies hoping you pay the bill multiple times. In addition, tek collect told me they have a contract with BrandyWine and that they are able to see on their end whether a bill has been paid or not. Be aware of this dentist.
