Cassaundra Young: Washington Center for Dentistry is such a fantastic organization! Everyone is courteous, professional and accommodating. Dr. Fordjour is easily the best dentist I’ve had! I came in on several occasions and not only is his work exceptional, he was patient with answering my many questions and put me at ease! It’s not every day you actually enjoy going to the dentist but if you must go, I highly recommend this practice!

Marie-Flore JOHNSON: I cannot recommend this dental office enough. It is wonderful! Excellent dentists. Caring and experienced staff. Very gentle. They care about your teeth and are honest. No trying to rip you off. They also do everything to make sure you do not feel pain. One of the staff, Trina, worked way after hours one time when I needed some dental business paperwork. She could have waited to provide it to me later on, but wanted to make sure that I had it. They are all like Trina. Very professional, oriented towards service and excellence.
Maura O'Sullivan: Close to five years ago I had a really bad toothache for few days. I went to few dentists and no one could tell me what was wrong. Finally I called WCD and made an appointment and to find out it was a root canal. Dr. Katsaros took care of it. I was so relieved and happy. Everyone at WCD are professional and helpful. I especially love Rachel who is my new hygienist. She is outstanding. She gives me a thorough cleaning. Very gentle. Answers all my questions. The absolute best!!!
Wanda Wheeler: I have been going to WCD for a few years now and I always receive exceptional service and care. Dr. Fordjour is an excellent dentist and all of the hygienists and front desk staff are consistently professional and proactive. In particular, Katrina (front desk) went above and beyond to handle an insurance billing concern I had a few months back. While I wish that my insurance could be billed directly, WCD is prompt with sending out invoices so that insurance reimbursement is quick and painless.

He has also hired excellent dental assistants and the office is well run. After my last (particularly grueling) visit for a new crown, he texted me after hours to make sure I was doing ok. He has set the bar pretty high for me on what oral heath care should be.
SarahBW: Dr. Brown and Dr. Pollowitz share a lovely office that is conveniently located in Northwest Washington. Both are exceptional dentists. Each member of their staff is always professional, friendly, and super helpful. They always submit the invoices to my insurance company, so I don’t have to. Ashley has been wonderful (and gentle), working on bringing my mouth back to good health, after I let things slide a little bit. I highly recommend this practice, if you’re new to town or just looking for a change.

Brent Troy David: It is not often you can have a great experience at a dentist office, but I am here to tell you if it’s going to happen, it will happen at District Dental Solutions. Drs. Arroyo & Arroyo (along with their amazing staff), are exceptionally caring and compassionate! They are non-judgmental and have definitely gone out their way to help me with my extensive dental issues, most especially caused by months of chemotherapy to overcome Stage 4 Lymphoma, which almost killed me. After years of not being able to afford proper care, they are doing everything possible for me to address my dental woes. I am truly grateful for their amazing service, compassion, professionalism, and integrity.

Yelena Skalinskaya: Dr. Jeremy - what an amazing dentist … I transferred here from another practice and have been very happy with my choice! I came in with butchered veneers which Dr. Jeremy fixed up as much as he could, but they were still meh… I kept nagging and nagging about new veneers, but Dr. Jeremy wouldn’t budge - we had to move my teeth first or it wouldn’t look the way I wanted, which we did (thanks Invisalign). I did have major PTSD from my first experience with veneers, but the temp veneers looked so great - I was willing to do whatever. I didn’t stop torturing Dr. Jeremy though, one of the veneers didn’t fit quite right and we had to redo it - but that was quick and easy (for me at least 😅). Also, full disclosure, I take naps at my cleaning sessions - so relaxing! The hygienist literally has to hook my cheek and move my head as I doze off 😂 There’s a parking garage right next to the building - get in before 8:30am and you get a discounted rate 🙌 Finally, they’re in the process of designing a whole new office - I’m sure the space will be hot - can’t wait to see it!

Let’s get into how amazing Dr. Bassily and Khina are. They were more than helpful, informative and did not make me feel uncomfortable in any way. Victoria Ouellette: Aesthetic & Family Dentistry on Wisconsin Ave is the most incredible dentist I’ve ever been to! Every staff member is friendly and helpful. From booking to insurance to the services themselves, I am extremely satisfied! I was able to get a desirable appointment time (4:45 pm) that works with my schedule. While there, I found out I needed 2 fillings. During the appointment, Amie checked with my insurance so when I checked out I would know the exact cost to pay when I returned. She also helped me find an appointment just 5 days later to get the fillings! Khina was an amazing hygienist in my cleaning and was very friendly. Lamika was incredible as the hygienist during my fillings. Both Khina and Lamika made me feel so welcomed and talked with me as a person, not just a patient. Dr. Obholz is without a doubt a phenomenal dentist. She talked through every step of both appointments. She helped explain every step that she took and even showed me the pictures of the teeth that required fillings. Dr. O also provided above necessary care in offering numbing gel when she knew it would be a painful area. She talked through what the process would be like at my initial appointment and the day of. She completed both fillings with no numbing and I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes. I felt very comfortable the entire time and I am extremely happy to have found such an incredible office right in my neighborhood. If you are considering booking here, I highly recommend!

Cindy McFarland: I was traveling to DC for work and part of a tooth broke off. DC Dental Spa was able to get me in same day. They were so nice and accommodating. Dr. Hoang laid out all of the options for me and made a recommendation. Then they explained what my insurance covered and what I would owe before they did the work, which I appreciated. I walked away with my tooth fixed until I could get home and have my dentist put on a crown. Great experience!

KT: I found DC Dental Spa when I was looking for a place to have emergency dental work done. I was have a horrible, throbbing toothache for a few days and ended up needing to have a root canal repaired, which was also done here. The dental work was pretty painless (I do have high dental anxiety) and the receptionists and dental hygeniests were very instrumental in creating a comfortable experience. They were kind and informative.

Hoori Hafizi: Dr. Joh is very patient and caring. She is very meticulous about her job that make me trust her more than other dentists. I had a great experience there. Laura Brown: The dentist and hygienist had a very thoughtful and calming demeanor. I was worried about a particular cavity and they fixed it so well. It feels brand new. I highly recommend Dr. T and all of the staff working there. Plus being comfortable and watching TV while your having procedure with headphones was a great perk. I left knowing I have a dentist I can rely on for any of my needs.
Flora Patel: I was super nervous going in because I don’t have dental insurance and I had a dental emergency so I couldn’t put off going. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the visit went really well!! Everyone was very friendly and the doctor made sure to answer all my questions and they discussed the price up front before the actual procedure which I really appreciated. Jessica Watson: Hands down one of the best dental office experiences I’ve had in my life. And they take insurance?!? Get outta here :). Friendly staff, clean and stylish office, virtually no wait, and a solid judgement free zone (all questions and concerns welcomed). X-rays and photos are available immediately (during your visit as well as in their app). They even provide sunglasses so you’re not squinting at a blinding light while they work. It’s Pride month and I love that the staff all had Pride buttons on, it speaks to everyone being welcomed here. This is now my forever dentist. Highly recommend.
Annie Lyon: I absolutely hate going to the dentist. HATE. But I am thrilled to have had a relaxing (!) experience at Tend. (Plus I got to watch GBBO during the cleaning, so that helped.) My hygienist told me everything she was doing, was super thorough, and the doctor’s checkup at the end confirmed all that my hygienist had said. The whole space was sanitized and sparkling clean, and I felt super safe. Thank you, Tend! I am actually looking forward to my appointment in six months. And I will floss.
Rick Strocsher: I had an emergency dental need and Tend quickly arranged an appointment the first thing in the morning. The environment was fantastic and the dentist quickly assessed the situation. Plan one was a long term repair. I informed him that I would be leaving the area in ten days. He came up with a quick fix and a temporary solution was made. This office is highly professional as is the dentist I had. This is the office people should come to for their dental needs.
Detre Monique Dyson: My first impression of Tend Dental was Wow from the front door. I was professionally greeted and treated like family. The hygienist was absolutely the best gentle and explained everything that was going to be going on. My Dentist Dr. T as I call him is the best in the area. I actually followed him from his previous office. I actually look forward to going to the dentist and we all know that is definitely rare for some of us.

Kate Riley: I’ve been going to smile beautiful dental for 8 years and have been very happy with the care I’ve received. They are great with my kids - making the dentist something the kids look forward to. And the office staff is wonderful, making insurance questions and scheduling as easy as possible. The office is beautiful, modern and comfortable.
Maya Drummond: Dr. JJ, Olga (the hygienist), and Pedro (the dental tech) were fantastic and all the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The paperwork was sent in advance, so I could complete it ahead of time. They verified my insurance in advance and explained my benefits. They told me how long my appointment would take and were on time. The location is also right at the Waterfront metro making it easy to travel to. They did a fantastic job cleaning thoroughly and flossing with minimal pain. They explained the results of the x-rays and images and addressed all of my concerns including cleaning and adjusting a mouthguard made by a different dentist at a different practice. I am so relieved to have found my new dentists after a few years of searching! Looking forward to coming back for my next cleaning!

Chantel: I have had many bad experiences with dental offices and many dentist and staff have left a bad taste in my mouth for years, well that is until I found Rusk and Thornton. Let me first say, you are greeted right away when you arrive through those doors. The front end staff is extremely friendly and will answer all your questions. My dental hygienist (Tracey) and dental assistant (Nick) are the ABSOLUTE BEST!! It is just a great prize when you find a dentist that you actually look forward visiting because you know that he (Dr. T) will take awesome care of you. I am just in awe of the dentist office and will recommend everyone try them out. You will not be disappointed.

Paul Armstrong: This is the best place for a dentist that I have ever been the orthodontist the dentist the assistants and staff are so knowledgeable. They go above and beyond not to mention with the Covid they are making sure that everyone is safe as can be. They are checking vaccine cards and if you have not been vaccinated they issue a test on the spot to be seen. I had to get a root canal and a crown i was super nervous but the doctor made sure i was comfortable and it went smoothly. Thank you Beautiful Smiles I’m smiling 😁
Claire Hageman: Amazing office! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I went in for a consultation and because of some cancelations they were able to fit me in for fillings that very day. They were amazing and so so considerate of me. Quick and beautiful work, and very detail oriented. My first positive dental experience in a really long time.
Yelena Reznikova: Great experience from start to finish. Everyone I interacted with from the receptionist to the hygienist to the specialist was professional, warm, and competent. I was encouraged to get a deep clean, which I expected given I hadn’t been to the dentist in 2+ years. The results were incredible - it was as if I had my teeth professionally whitened! I also needed to get 3 fillings done. The dentist was able to do all three in <45 min the day of my cleaning. I received an itemized receipt via email, as requested. All in all, very positive experience.
LINDSAY D: From calling to make an emergency appt (they got me in within hours!) to me walking out of Beautiful Smiles DC was a great experience. I cannot say enough good about this place! Dr. Dubey was simply amazing and talked me through my treatment care plan. Her dental assistant (forget her name) was awesome too! Great bedside manner! Jonathon and the lady at the front desk who checked me in and discussed insurance coverage with me for treatment were phenomenal!! I am so glad to have found this place. I still have two appointments left to complete my root canal and crown but I’m very confident that it will be smooth sailing! If you need a dentist- don’t look any further!!! This is the place!!! The Ariel Series: Even though I have a dental practice less than a mile from my home, I make the drive to DC - 1 hour each way because I love Beautiful Smiles. As a person with a disability, I am well taken care of at this location. From Day 1, the staff has been accommodating, helping me understand my insurance bills, asking me about my family, and taking good care of my teeth. I had an appointment the day after my child was born early. They accepted my last minute cancellation without a moment’s hesitation. When I call to ask if I can move up my appointment, they grant my request. I plan to continue going to this practice until I cannot fit the drive in my schedule anymore. It’ll be worth your time to consider this practice for dental care! (:

Kelly Gunning: Such a great experience! I had a dental emergency and had no established dentist in the area. Dental Town was able to get me in the next day, and the entire staff was beyond helpful from start to finish. Chelsea at the front desk called my insurance company for me and let me know upfront exactly what I would need to pay - the transparency was amazing. The doctor was so incredibly kind and had me in and out in less than an hour. I can’t thank them enough for all of their help!
Emma Bechill: This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I broke my tooth the day before and called slightly freaking out the next morning. Chelsea answered the phone and was able to get me in ASAP. She was so sweet throughout and made me feel taken care of. My hygienist, Nina, was also very kind and answered all my questions. Dr. Martin greeted me warmly and thoroughly went through my options, making me feel comfortable with scheduling a root canal. The office itself is very clean, spacious, and frankly quite pretty. Very grateful to have found Dental Town!
Katrina Martell: Best dentist hands down! Dr. Shenasi and the whole team are amazing. I have been her patient for over a year now. The environment is clean and calming for anyone who is nervous about the dentist, and everyone is super friendly. They treat you very well, look out for your health, and explain things every step of the way. I even referred my boyfriend (who used to dread going to the dentist) but he loves it here too.
Nomadic 18: This was my very very first visit and here’s my assessment: the dental hygienist and the actual dentist were great. They were amazingly friendly and made you feel at ease. Absolutely love the service they provided, the only negative thing for me was the receptionist today. She was beyond rude and have no people skills. I almost gave a proper telling off, but not necessary to waste energy on people like that. I hope they can put more friendly & inviting people on the forefront. That woman need not be there.
Alicia Johnson: Have gone twice now with positive experiences. The hygienist was extremely patient and understanding about my dental pain, gave me good advice, and used numbing gel to make it tolerable. Offices are clean and organized. All staff I’ve seen are professional and kind.

Jaclyn O'Day: Dr. Tsaknis genuinely cares about his patients. He takes time to educate, explain basics, investigate and address the root cause of issues, and empower his patients to improve their overall dental and oral health. At the first visit to City Dental DC the staff took behind the teeth images with this cool little camera device and also X-rays. Dr. Tsaknis pulled up the images/X-rays on a large screen to ask questions, review my oral/dental health history, point things out to me, and spend time educating and sharing ways to improve my dental care regiment. On subsequent visits, he has continued to take time for patient education on things like reviewing the dos and don’t of proper flossing, electronic toothbrush use, and more. In short, Dr. John Tsaknis is by far the best and most thorough dentist I’ve ever seen and I highly recommended him. If you’re looking for a dentist in the DC area, don’t look any further and go see him for thorough, friendly, and customer-focused dental care. Bonus- if you’re driving to their office, there’s free parking behind the building.

Dr. Tsaknis is great, straightforward dentist, and the staff is always pleasant and on point--I have never had any serious complications with billing/insurance and I have always been seen on time. The location of the Mass Ave office is very convenient to my home and office, and I especially appreciate the ease of parking.

Debbie B.: Dr. Berman and her staff are top notch professionals. I have been going to the office for many years and am always impressed with the treatment I receive. The office is always very efficient with keeping appointment times and the doctor and the staff are phenomenal. During the pandemic I have traveled an hour each way from my house to make these appointments. It would be easy for me to go to a closer dentist since I’m no longer working in the city right now but it is worth the drive to me. Dr. Berman does wonderful work and makes sure that I am always comfortable and not in pain. I am in the process of getting Invisalign done with her as well. Always impressed by this office and their staff. Would highly recommend this dental office.

Anna Rubin: Dr. Kham and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend this office more highly. Dr. Kham is kind, explains his recommendations in detail and patient-friendly language, and does impeccable dental work and cleanings. I did Invisalign with him and the outcome is better than I could have expected. They are always on time, easy to reach by phone, and organized.

Jessica L: I probably had the best dentist experience ever at this place. Dr Kye was informative and explained every step of the procedures. Everyone was also friendly, welcoming and attentive. They understand dental anxiety and do their best to accommodate any needs you may have or requests to make your experience easier. Sharada Gilkey: Been seeing Dr. Rothkopf since he started practicing when I was 12 yrs old! (I’m now 61 and gray haired!) Even when I had different insurance and had to see another dentist, I got a consult with him. He saved me $5k in unnecessary dental work that was recommended by the other dentist. Went right back to Dr. R as quick as I could! Sue is also a great hygienist and I was sorry to hear she is retiring, but happy for her. Gail is an awesome assistant and Nancy was great too (she retired last year as receptionist). It’s been a great lifelong experience and I brought family members along the way as well. Oh, and I still have all my teeth! 😁

Lauren: I love this place. The front desk folks are wonderfully friendly and kind, and the technicians and dentists are amazing. I had the best cleaning of my life by Sharon (finally someone who can floss gently!) and when I was nervous about coming in for a filling, Sherrena was an absolute doll who made me feel comfortable and well cared for. And Dr. Joshua Lomke is great! Very friendly and gave me an excellent filling--no pain, fast, and super professional and caring. This will be my dentist office for as long as I live in DC!

Sharon, my hygienist, was incredibly gentle-handed, and nothing she did during my cleaning caused discomfort (which has never been the case before). If you have kids, I recommend this office & especially Sharon! No complaints about this place, it was a great visit. The dentist was also fabulous & recommended the perfect care plan, where other dentists have tried to pressure me to get unnecessary operations in the past. Recommend!
