Byrdland Records: what do users think?

Saminda Wijegunawardena: Really solid store. Diverse collection of vinyl for such a small joint. Most records are new but they have a few stacks of used. Pricey but good cuts. I picked up an Al Green record, a classic Prince record, and a Thelonious Monk live limited edition for a total of about $80. Friendly staff, not snobby.

Josef Hartzel: Good selection and well organized. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful (even gave me some free promo stickers) about the business and their ordering processes. The coolest part is they actually keep a stock of the albums from bands that play at their location up the street (SongByrd) so if you catch a show but can't get an album then you can always get one later! 10/10 will always pop in if in the area.

Marie Chase: Felt completely unwelcomed from the moment I walked in. Not a single greeting or acknowledgement from employees. I over heard a woman saying she was an owner and they just stared at me while they conversed about how “dangerous” Mexico is. One of the employees then followed me around without saying anything as if I was going to steal. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything because I didn’t want to support such terrible customer service and while their selection is mid most of their vinyl are over priced and hard to shuffle through. Find another record shop, this is not it.
Response: I am sorry that you felt that way. To clarify and give some context I was talking to two regulars who work in humanitarian aid at the boards for people who are stuck waiting for entry, also I apologize if I did not see you come in. I also, was the only one working at the store, whoever you thought was an employee following you would have to have been another customer who was shopping. I never want a customer to feel unwelcome and I hope you can give us another chance.

Corey Graham: Very cool joint with a massive new vinyl selection. Smaller but diverse used section. Loved it.

Kyle del Villar: An all around incredible record store that features new and old vinyl that can appease anyones taste. They also have a nice selection of record players and audio equipment to help people get set up or upgrade their current sound systems. This place is a must stop for music lovers.

Nikki S: I completely agree with one of the comments lower down that employees come off as pretentious and unhelpful. We were there earlier and tried to be polite and careful when looking through albums. We were going to buy a couple of vinyls but ended up leaving empty handed because the guy behind the counter was not very nice and seemed like people in the store were a nuisance more than anything. He was on his phone and I understand that sometimes you don’t want to be bothered, but seriously? At one point, the guy there actually ignored my friend. Good selection of vinyls and nice music, but no need for such negativity. The employees should drop the arrogance and maybe more people will want to buy.

Lee Davis: Always a great experience to dig through the deep selection of superb vinyl. The staff is super knowledgeable, and so positive when helping and answering questions. They have new music, some surprising finds, and then some "diamond-in-the-rough" used vinyl to get lost in, and eventually end up spending your paycheck, with a smile though! We brought home a nice haul, but I always leave things behind that I still want. No worries, we'll be back to get them!

Josh Davis: This is a very neat record shop in a unique location. It's the best spot in DC that I've found so far for new releases. Will be returning!

RedRudaProductions: Great! Lots to choose from and they can order stuff for you. Good amount of classics on sale or on discount. They carry speakers, record players, and more. First time, I got there about 20 minutes before they open and a staff member open the door for me, he took time from eating his lunch to help me with questions. Really nice place!

Cody Cox: A very nice record store. They have a pretty solid selection of newer and unique records (while their used selection was more limited). Their space is very fun and they have a lot of offerings beyond the standard store (equipment and events). The only major drawback I thought was in the pricing department. From what I could tell average record was around $30.

POPTOGRAPHIX: A great record store if you like punk. Kind of small but lots of cool stuff at a pretty reasonable price. Overall nice record store.

Adrijana Parsell: Cool place! Any 80s or 90s rock fan would love this place, I found the picture mocking a shoplifter and no posers sign hilarious, but might not be for everyone. Pretty decent collection of vinyl, clothes, magazines and more

Allison Giddens: Cool record shop. Found a couple of fun things in the used "new arrivals."

Tim Horton: Even though I'm not into punk, it's still my favorite local record joint. They often have great used rock and indie vinyls for reasonable prices.

Ethan Vose: Great place to find punk and metal records. Probably the only place I've found that has hard to find records in that genre.

Caroline Thomas: Makes me happy to know theres still a genuine punk shop around in the area. Not many gems like this spot around anymore. I realize this is primarily a record shop but I wish they would expand their clothing section a little more with more variety. I still appreciated their selection though. Overall you will definitely want to pop in if you're of the punk/alternative scene. You'll enjoy it.

Sex Pistoleros: Absolutely one of the best record stores for punk. Up there with Rushmor Records.

Jessica Ordóñez: Walked in here earlier today looking to browse their vinyl selection. As I’m walking in, the guy at the front (red hair, white) asks me to leave my bag at the front, in an empty cardboard box. I agreed to do this, since I’m all for supporting small neighborhood stores, but as soon as I turn around I realize I’m the only one who has been asked to check their bag, and the other ~4 (white) customers are walking around with shoulder bags (like mine) and backpacks. I confronted the guy at the front about this and he literally just shrugged his shoulders and brushed off the situation. As a woman of color, I recommend you take your money to a different, better record store, instead of this bigoted establishment with “bag policies” that depend on the color of your skin.

Nivek Witt: staff locks door and had to wait for them to unlock it. as soon as they let customers in they relock the door and make you leave your bags in a musty cardboard box. staff was very rude and followed me around my entire visit watching me. the selection is also poorly organized and quite petite.

Bladimir Bonilla: Awesome place. Love the environment, great selections of Punk, Heavy Metal and local artists. The staff members are really nice and helpful, also vintage band patches and records, reasonable prices and I highly recommend this place if you want to find some retro Punk and Heavy Metal records and you will also discover unfamiliar bands I guarantee you'll love. Keep up the good work. (Y)

Allison Giddens: Very cool record shop - fantastic selection in rock and metal. Super nice guy (owner?) at the front counter. Totally recommend checking out if you are in the area or visiting.

Stefane Sheryniele: Amazing record shop. Really cozy basement vibe with cool art. They have a great variety of records. I found a few I was looking for, for a long time. The guy at the register was also really nice. I recommend this place.

jamari jay: great place! owners/people who work there are very friendly and are more than happy to let you look around and browse. they have a HUGE selection of vinyl that spans the wall from the front of the store all the way to the back jam-packed full of records. any genre you are possibly thinking about can be found here. they also have a pretty sexy selection of boomboxes and turntables for sale as well which i would highly recommend checking out. opposite of the record wall is an assortment of pretty lit 1980's and early 1990's clothing which i will def. have to come back and check out. overall, really good! prices are a little high, but worth it!

Josh Davis: This is one of the best record shops in DC. The staff have excellent taste in music, and last time I visited I found several records I'd been hunting for unsuccessfully for years.

Natasha Shokouhi: This is a nice little record shop. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Prices on used vinyl are pretty reasonable, new vinyl varied. Some were a tad outrageous. They do have some great used finds, definitely some hard to find pieces here. A great shop in the city. I'd definitely come back.

Alex Escamilla: My good friend John Puerto Vinyl, recommended me this store. This place has a unique way of treating their customers, prices are always right, and every single vinyl is always in almost perfect conditions, my new favorite record store. I would give an extra star because it’s the only store that I’ve been that has a bathroom, this makes the visit more comfortable if you’re in the needs of using it.

Olga Lucía: Variety of gentes and formats, raw, and good guys in front of. You can listen what you're buying.

Brian Shin: Verbatim dialogue of the Direct Messages on a popular messaging program between JointCustodyDC and I: Me: DM-ing you as per your request regarding the white and black Oakland Raiders hat. Is it a fitted? Size? Price? JointCustodyDC: It's a snapback if you picking up in store $175 Me: $175?! Snapback?! Good lawd yall done lost yo mind Lol JointCustodyDC: Or you have no actual idea of what it is worth. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean anyone has lost their mind. Why don't you get back to taking photos of cars you can't afford either I shopped here on numerous occasions, but will never give them another dime. I was clearly saying that they "lost yo mind" in a joking manner.. but they decided to reply with that condescending tone after obviously sifting through my public instagram page, which has photos of several different Mercedes-Benz's which were uploaded as a collection of personal reviews of the different loaner cars that I've gotten over the course of the past few years of owning my own Mercedes-Benz. I'm guessing thats where they got the idea to say "Why don't you get back to taking photos of cars you can't afford either". I am stating just the facts and my opinion of the facts at hand. But in any scenario, I don't think that is a very professional way to reply to any inquiry, regardless of whether or not I could afford it. I felt very humiliated and regret spending any money here. I usually never go out of my way to post any negative press unless I think they really deserve it. I have been blocked on all forms of social media as a result of sharing the screenshots of our conversation.

Akindele Campbell: Best record shop in the area. Great Soul, Jazz, Funk, Hip-hop, Reggae and African Selections. Discount section has so many gems. Overall great place for music lovers old and young, looking to build their collection

matthew mckenna: They have a great selection of constantly rotating used records, in all genres. They really exceed in hip hop, metal, punk/hardcore. I always find at least 10 things to buy.

Chantaya King: My kind of record store! HR records is amazing! The staff is welcoming and answered any questions my friend and I had about records! I love digging with jazz playing in the background! The shop is well organized and they have plenty of records to dig in! HR is now one of my favorite D.C shops!
Response: Thank you so much! Can't wait to have you back soon.

Julius Sheppard: Great shop. Knowledgeable staff. The recommendations are on point. Bought and sold some records and got good prices on both.
Response: Thank you so much Julius! Can't wait to have you back soon.

Doug Hoepker: Stopped in on a recent trip to DC and so glad I went a bit out of my way to find this charming store. Fantastic selection of soul, r&b, funk, jazz -- and very well priced. Not an overwhelming amount of records (a positive thing for me!), but more than enough to keep you busy for an hour. I crossed several things off my want list. But the best part of the experience was eavesdropping on the conversation the owner was having with a few customers about music history. Remember when a record store actually felt like a community and the relationship between customer and clerk was more than just transactional? HR Records proves that vibe still exists. Show this shop some love -- it's a gem!
Response: You're the gem, Doug!

YanoNick: The staff is super cool and informed. I like the music playing. Affordable prices and wide selection of music for a novice like myself. They also do live shows and interviews.
Response: Thank you very much for the kind review.

Isaac Sawin: Best store around if you are looking for soul and funk records.

Ian Lever: We were enjoying our ice cream next to the store and the owner invited us in. He told us about an upcoming event at the store. Although we didn't get any records, you could just tell the owner was super friendly, awesome, and welcoming.

Morgan Lupton: Fantastic shop with an incredible selection. Really good mix of full lengths and singles from a wide variety of genres. One of my preferred spots for picking up Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Disco 12s.
Response: Thank you so much!

Way hu: Walking into this record store is like bringing a retro McDonald's with the Nintendo 64 inside the playroom to 2022... iykyk... Da Ha Da Ha

Clifford Robert Booker Jr.: HR Records can still fill the empty spots in my Musical library !
Response: Can't wait to have you back!

Noel Johnson III: Awesome shop! Lots of good jazz, soul, and funk here. Saw lots of gospel and reggae 45s too. Will be returning!
Response: Can't wait to have you back!

Uncle Tony's Donut Shoppe: what do users think?

J. Rustles: Tried to visit one time at the posted hours (not right at open) but the shop was closed unfortunately. No sign, no information as to when they would be open. I went a second time and luckily they were open. It’s a super cozy shop in a sound-isolating glass cube so you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of a hotel lobby/cafe, and they were playing some great sounding records (no surprise there) through the store’s hifi. The vinyl selection was a mix of new and used LPs and 7”s and most of the used stuff looked to be in really nice condition, though I don’t think I saw a single LP priced under $20. The selection was also pretty small - about ten bins - but felt highly curated. They had some high quality turntables and other audio equipment for sale behind the counter too. I would go again if I wanted to buy a nice gift for someone but I’m not sure I would come back to search for anything for my own collection due to the high prices. Edit: To the owner, thank you for the reply. I understand the limitations of the space and not wanting to make it feel too crowded, however I didn’t see any of those $5-$20 bins you mention despite going through every bin during my visit. I’ll ask when I come back. I still feel the shop prices were abnormally high (especially when compared to other used record stores in the DC area) and that can unfortunately create a high barrier for entry into vinyl. I personally think vinyl should be accessible for everyone and I’ve been to dozens of great record stores in recent years that excel in doing so. One other thing - I didn’t notice any signage for the shop within the hotel lobby or on the street. Is there any? The shop isn’t visible when entering through the hotel entrance, only the cafe entrance, so I would suggest putting up some signs inside and maybe a sandwich board outside. Just my honest thoughts.
Response: Hi J. Thanks for stopping by! Super sorry that we weren't there the first time you arrived, we might have been dropping records at the post office but we should have left a sign and we apologize for the inconvenience. We have a very small store (around 300 sq ft) as you mentioned so we don't have a ton of space, but we do have a few boxes of records ranging from $5 - $20 feel free to ask us next time and we'll point you to them. Thanks for checking us out. Appreciate the review.

Kevin Wright: Lovely small and compact store. Records can be pricy but are fair. This place is the epitome of quality over quantity. Hip addition to a hotel lobby.

Matt's Garage & Misc. DIY: The record shop is inside the “Yours Truly DC” hotel lobby. Cool shop with lots of Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Jazz

Rishi Kumar: Great little shop with a nice selection of funk, soul, pop, and rock records (all vinyl), both used and new. All the records looked to be in great condition. I picked up a great Herbie Hancock record, and I plan on spending a lot more money here.
Response: Thank you so much, Rishi! Enjoy the Herbie hope to see you again soon!

Caleb Trantham: This place is dangerous! Having a record shop with a wide selection of my favorite genres of music (hip-hop, funk, and jazz) make my wallet cry out for mercy (me) whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Love the shop, keep doing what you do!
Response: Love the word play with mercy me here, clever! Thanks so much for the kind words. It means a lot!

beaux shwa: visiting from the west coast and it was worth a stop for sure. could've spent double what i did. got a couple things i hadn't seen before at previous stores

Jay Herrera: Great customer service , and nice selection of old and used vinyl. Highly recommend !

Ronojoy Sen: Great selection and a cool location.
Response: Awesome, glad you came thru. Thanks for the flick! See you next time, peace!

Ben Foulkes: Great shop with a great selection. Definitely has become my go-to record store in DC.

Dave Hoenack: A great record store!

Da Hun: Great record store. You can find all kinds of records, from the old time rock & roll to the new music. If you are in the area I definitely recommend stopping by.

Bryan Vorbach: Great little record shop. Constantly getting in new things and they also have a solid selection of used records and stuff from local bands.

frizz: A hidden gem off the corner of Madison Street. Cozy little shop, reminds me of what I wanted my bedroom to look like in middle school. A grand selection of new and used vinyl. Decent pricing. Staff is very informative. I didn’t buy anything here today but this will be the first place I visit when I wanna get my hands on some vinyl.

Kevin Wright: Super friendly owner and awesome legacy of selling music in the dc area. Nicely curated shop. Highly recommend.

AJB2226: This shop is fantastic. Reasonable prices, helpful and friendly staff, and a decent collection. Could use a bit more more metal and hip-hop, but the selections were extremely well organized and they kept track of all the stuff they had. I'm from out of town but if I am ever back I will surely return!
Response: Thanks for the kind words and for coming by the store. All The Best!

Brandon Milton: We're from out of town and were happy to find Crooked Beat in Alexandria for Record Store Day 2021. The staff is nice and they have a good selection of new LPs and some used jazz and hip-hop. Most importantly, I was able to get the records I wanted for RSD.
Response: Thanks for coming by the store!

Harrison Keith: This is the best record store in the area, actually, in lots of areas. It's especially good if you want good DC rock and some unusual finds. The owner knows A TON about music and can point you in the right direction. I'm not sure I've ever been in there when I didn't buy whatever he was playing in the shop. A DC staple.

stefan Voogel: A great place to buy good quality vinyl records both new and second hand! Owner Bill always there to have a good chat with.Very relaxing environment to shop for special vinyl records or collections. And if you can not find what you want just let Bill know and he will do his best to order it for you.

Joey Troche: If you're into records this is an amazing store. Lots of new vinyl, some used. I dig the curated section up front of local-to-DC music, including punk from the 80s and 90s. Worth a visit even if you just want to remember what it's like to shop for music in person from an independently owned store.

Jay Vallario: Super helpful. Have me great advice about turntables, irrespective of whether I was buying anything. Just low key, honest, knowledgeable people.
Response: Thanks for coming in the store!

Red Onion Records: what do users think?

Aidan Gardner: Very good selection, however, not too much metal/hard rock. Still great people there and a great series of jazz and hip hop

Daniel Tana: Really great shop. I grew up in Hyattsville and I wish we had anything this cool here when I was younger and had more disposable income. Even still, better relate than never! Very cool and helpful staff, and a huge inventory of records (and books, and CDs, and some cassettes) with a great selection of new releases and classic used stuff, and lots of bargains. They also buy records so if you have an old collection to unload, give them a call (so I can end up buying your old records). Lastly, they seem to get new stuff in all the time, which is great. I’ve started trying to go at least once a week to see what’s new and always seem to find something cool.

James Bradford: Sadly in 2018 storefront sales of things like records are dying, and as a result places like this have way overpriced items. A Tori Amos 12" single that caught my eye was priced at $14, whereas it's available online for $1.99 plus $3 shipping. If this place was at all interesting or unique, or if the staff (the one woman present during my visit at least) didn't seem so unwelcoming and disinterested, it might make the difference.
Response: Ouch! Sorry you had such a negative experience at the shop. We try our best to price things fairly based on condition and supply & demand, but sometimes we make mistakes! Do you remember which Tori Amos 12" caught your eye? We like to think we are pretty interesting and unique, but we're sorry you didn't feel that way too. And I will certainly talk to everybody about the importance of being welcoming and interested in all of our customers! Hope you can give us another shot someday.

Connor Smith: Friendly staff and *tremendous* varied blues selection. And I’m not sure what that other reviewer was talking about; these are some of the very best prices in the DMV.

Jamie McGonnigal: My favorite record shop. Really excellent selection and service. I've found some pretty rare and hard to find recordings and I'm just so happy to have this store just a few blocks from my house.

Tiffany Sorenson: I am now 'record store people.'I didn't think I would be, but I'm absolutely addicted to this place now. Josh and his shop are such a gift. Thanks High Fidelity for making me ironically discover this Absolute gem of an independently owned shop.

A M: Great selection. Excellent staff. Good prices. Red Onion is the kind of record store I love. There's a good mix of well-organized stuff and bins full of mysteries to flick through. I never leave without at least one surprise purchase.

Evan Stephens: Very solid record store in the district. Selection of new vinyl and new arrivals are strongest. Surprisingly thin selection of classical pop and rock, but they also have a nice listening station and a shelf of oddities like books cassettes and other. Very friendly staff. Absolutely worth the trip

Jack Jensen: Really really fantastic. Good spread of rare gems and solid crowd-pleasers. Mostly rock music but with a good selection of soul as well. New stock rotates regularly and stays high-quality. I go every week and almost always find something to get. The staff is friendly and informative, the shelves are well-organized, the prices aren't awful, it's basically everything you'd want in a neighborhood record shop. Can't recommend it higher.

Davy Sundquist: Incredible selection of alt-rock and emo albums. Grabbed a nice Speedy Ortiz record today, and will be coming back soon. Clerk helped me find a place to get my record player repaired, too!

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Adah Deveaux: This review is for the starbucks within target. My drinks were great but a little of a wait. The actual target was customary.

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Target: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

Michaels: what do users think?

Lekeisha Harris: One of my Favorite Crafting stores. I swear, you will never be disappointed!!! Like seriously, I'm always here. At least twice a week for an hour lol. But yes it's that great! I purchase all of My stickers and Happy Planners from Michael's. I love it HERE!!!❣Amazing staff and with Great Customer service. Be sure to download the app to receive updates on Daily Deals and Promotions. It doesn't get any better, Thank me Later😉

Raymond Powell: Got charged $8 for 30 minutes of parking on a weekend day. There are other locations with free parking. The store itself is fine and somewhat busy. Staff are helpful and informative to help you find what you want. There are always sales coming and going.

Rickey Anderson: They have so many wonderful items to complete any DIY craft you have in mind

Krista: This is an interesting shopping set up. If you park in the adjoining parking garage, you will be charged $8 for parking 7 days a week. I went on a Saturday evening for only a few minutes and had to pay $8 for parking. They should validate for more business because I won't be back.

Rachel Tenne Mouse La Jabraille: Excellent use of limited space. It's smaller than other stores in the chain I've visited, but the selection is comparable and the layout is efficient.

dipika: A perfectly adequate and reliable Michael's! Parking is hard to come by, though (scarce or expensive).

David Zeledon: The framing department is simply fantastic. I got three diplomas framed here and Sonya that helped me out was the best. She works meticulously and her attention to detail and customer satisfaction is second to none!! Thanks again, again.

HAPPY CRAFTY CAT: I was trying to find this paper pad at various locations in my area. However, online it says the stores in my area have them i go there and nothing. It has been two weeks and yet nothing. I was told to give it some days and i did. OFCOURSE nothing. I do appreciate the staff who went out of their way to look for it at the Wisconsin ave location. It seems there is a system mix up online as i found other crafty people have been looking for it too. The IT TEAM SHOULD FIX THIS. VERY MISS LEADING ONLINE WHEN IT SAYS WHAT LOCAL STORES HAVE WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND THE QUANTITY AND THERE IS NOTHING WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PURCHASE IT. OTHER THAN THAT THE STORE WAS CLEAN, NICELY ORGANIZED, AND STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND READY TO ASSIST. 💞

A'Jahan Love: Huge store and inventory. Their website is accurate for what's in stock and has the option to ship to this location. They don't have canvas stretchers or canvas rolls in store, but they do online. You can find varying sizes at Blicks store which will be cheaper by a lot.

Gwendolyn Young: Went here on 4/18/2021and found Easter supplies were 70% off! Lots and lots of it just taking up space. I did buy some Easter flowers and some other craft supplies. The don't have a huge selection of various wired ribbons. The did have some peach polka dots ribbon for $3.00 (Clearance), but I chose to wait on that one. They did have several $5.00 mystery boxes for sale, but some had been opened up. Their Clearance section in the back has been cleaned up tremendously! But I must say that they have much more beautiful flowers than the small Joanne's Fabrics that is located in Greenbelt Shopping Center. They do have some type of discount program but I truly don't know how it works. So, if you are looking for beautiful flowers, Michaels is the place. They also have a large variety of greenery! The store was almost empty when I was there.

Target: what do users think?

Connor Black: My friend is a former employee at this establishment and I decided to post this on their behalf to protect their anonymity. First off, HR is prone to scheduling shifts at horrible times with little regard for the time you will have between shifts. Now this could be fixed if HR was more present and was available to talk about shift scheduling and issues that arise from how they do it. Secondly, the General Manager is very aggressive with their style of management. They often are talking down to people and attempting to single them out for ridicule or to give attitude to. They also have zero regard for a worker's wellbeing or health, instead putting the business before the people who have to make sacrifices for it. If you ever do call out and the GM answers, be prepared because she will try to gaslight you and talk you out of whatever your legitimate reason for not being able to come in is.

Portia Massado: I was a former employee there and the reason why I left was for a career choice and also because of the GM Jemima Canage. Jemima Canage is THE WORST GM to work for the company. Target is her LIFE and if your in school or have a second job PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Control freak YES she is. Jemima will over work you and will not give gradititude in return unless your a male that work in her store. She talks very mean and nasty to associates like they are nothing to her. I even had an incident where she yelled and charged herself at me like I was a child. It made me very very upset and if another manager wasn’t present I would of lost my job for walking out due to Jemima poor management skills. I even had customers come in and complain about how rude and mean she is. She also like to try to undermind people like they lack common sense. She recently fired someone for no apparent reason at all. She forced that man to come to work sick after expressing that he wasn’t feeling well. And he called the ambulance for himself just to prove to Jemima that he was sick. And in the process of her firing one person she lost 8people from that store. Even her ASM left because of her, 3LPs, and 4 associates. And right before I started 6months ago the original associates that were there had already gave the new people the rundown of Jemima Canage and how much they hated her and how she acts towards her employees. She doesn’t onow how to humble herself or treat people with REPSECT. She demands it then earning it or giving it back in return. And the nexr person she raises her voice at WILL NOT be as nice cause trust me I was VERY VERY ANGRY about it. Please get rid of that bad engery in that store. I feel sorry for all the people that are still there.

Kerry Delf: Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation. Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically.

Peyton Doyle: Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back.

Daniel: Right off the metro so it's convenient, not to mention, definitely bigger than you'd think. They took the investment of digging underground for the store (kind of like their NYC Tribeca location) and it definitely paid off. Validate parking when you leave since there's a lot attendant and a gate... no joke. Prices upscale for the location, but they had what I needed and would probably visit again.

Larry Gamble: I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings is a very beautiful place with a lot of awesome deals! it was a very nice experience for people are just super awesome everybody was all friendly and lot of excitement going on just keep it in the parking lot list fire I loved it

Lindsay Cooper: Purchased baby food online that was listed as in-stock. Received notifications that it was ready to pick-up. My husband went to pick it up and not only did they not have our order, they didn't have the product in stock. My husband then decided to purchase other items while he was there and was followed closely around the store by security so much that he had to ask the person to back off. I called Target HQ and they confirmed that the order was ready for pick up. I'll be going back to Amazon after this experience.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: It is Very nice and very clean. It is small in size, but they've got everything from groceries to clothes and electronics. It is conveniently located near the red line Cleveland park metro station, and bus ( L1, L2) stop. when you walk in this location, it looks like you're at a duty-free shop at an airport. It is also a quick 5 minute walk from the zoo.

M P: Free parking but you MUST get your ticket validated in store. Great for quick Target run. You can always find helpful employees and if you don’t see what you are looking for ask and they’ll get it in stock. Great manager. Super clean store. Perfect location.

Sassi Whayz: Clean store, I love the floor separate.. x feels like a department store. Found a new favorite lady part cleaner

Maketto: what do users think?

Cameron Chase: Maketto was really interesting, I think the overall decor left me wondering where I was, but the food kept me around for sure. You’re asked to order on your phone and close out your tab there as well. Servers run all the food from the kitchen across the way into the restaurant. We had the cauliflower, the wings, and the Cambodian inspired salad, which were all delicious. I was amazed by the flavors and plating of the foods. I really enjoyed this place with the decor aside!
Response: Thanks for visiting, Cameron!

Christopher Chung: Food is one of a kind, combining the very best in flavors of Cambodian and Taiwanese cuisines. While everything on the menu is thoroughly satisfying, favorites include crystal shrimp dumplings, spicy cauliflower, Cambodian pho and Maketto fried chicken. Come in a party of more than 2 to try more dishes! A unique oasis combining restaurant, coffee shop, bar, vinyl store, and clothier. Refined and subdued interior. A must-see for folks visiting from out of town.
Response: Thank you for the kind words and glowing recommendations, Christopher!

Thang Phu: Delicious! It is a bit further away from the central businesses, but we are so glad to have tried it. Very unique flavors and a very novel fusion of Asian foods. They also make good chai tea! I had my doubts when trying businesses that offer a wide variety of food and drinks that are often specialized, but they are very good.
Response: Thank you for visiting, Thang!

Matt Monarch: Very nice restaurant and location. Three stars removed for automatically included gratuity. We got the pork bao, Gruyère dumplings, and fried dough, all of which were very good. The shrimp dumplings were pretty good, but a little too doughy. The Bone Marrow entree sounds great, but we had to send it back and take it off the bill, which I’ve never done before. It was a way too salty, kind of sour mess. They were great about it, took it right off, and the manager even came over to explain that the white rice is intended to absorb the saltiness (though you’d need a pickup truck’s worth of rice to do the job). Overall a very good stop, with the exception of the included tip.
Response: Thank you for visiting, Matt! Glad you loved the bao & hope you'll visit again.

Rachel U: Finally got to try Maketto! So glad I stopped in for lunch. Sat upstairs at the bar, socially distant from other patrons. This place is such a vibe, retail and restaurant. For lunch I had the pork bao buns- *chefs kiss* veggie spring rolls- fried to perfection, and spicy beef rice bowl- tasty, good amount of spice. Plenty of food, enough to pack home.
Response: We're so happy you got to try Maketto while we were still open for dine-in! Hope you visit us again soon in 2022! Have a safe holiday!

Kit Lai Pine: When my family and I visited Washington DC earlier, we couldn’t wait to eat at Maketto again. The outdoor was well decorated and spaced out. We ordered crystal shrimp dumplings, spring rolls, bone marrow laab, crispy chicken wings and duck noodle soup. Every thing was delicious particularly the duck noodle soup and crispy chicken wings. The portion of the duck noodle soup was large and the duck was crispy. All the ingredients were fresh and high quality. Friendly staff! A must in DC!
Response: Thank you so much! We hope you'll visit us next time you're in DC! Have a wonderful & safe holiday!

Christopher Gillespie: The service is great, quick, once you work the app properly. The tea was delicious, great selection too. The best app was the pancake, super unique esp with the sourdough. The Yu Choy also a unique dish, nice bitterness to the salt/sauce. Really cool spot, awesome decor and just get the chicken...
Response: Christopher, thanks for the kind words. Come back anytime!

Shabnam K: The food was great and authentic. I really enjoyed the ambiance too. The only recommendation to the staff is that: if someone is wants to dine in alone, you don’t have to multiple times ask her whether she is waiting for someone. It’s normal to dine in alone.
Response: Noted and thanks for visiting, Shabnam!

N'cki: I've been here a few times and always enjoyed it. Visiting during the pandemic, gave me a chance to see how good they really are and they did not disappoint! The service was great, the food was excellent and the system they have in place for ordering to reduce contact is fantastic. It's quick, easy, convenient and efficient! I hope they keep it in place once they're allowed to operate at full capacity again.
Response: Thank you so much, N'cki!

Amy Kunkel: We loved Maketto! We’re big fans of the ordering from phone system and our waiter was super attentive and super nice. The host was also amazing. We ordered a bunch of food and had so much leftover. Super yummy! The spicy beef with rice was a favorite of many. We had our three kids with us (15, 12, 9) and they were entertained by the records, VHS tapes, and vintage toys. The host talked to us when we were done eating and was very attentive to the kids. Overall great experience!!
Response: It was so nice to chat, Amy! Thank you for coming in and we're so happy that you loved everything. Come back anytime!

Barnes & Noble: what do users think?

Tenny Kristiana: Large collection of fiction. Also good amount of non fiction book (history and current affairs. Register to be a member, need to pay $25 for a year and you’ll get 20% discount from your first purchase and 10% after that. Btw I love their Harry Potter corner

Kay Mcay: Not a fan of this Barnes and Noble. Nice enough building but this one is not run nearly as well as other Barnes and Noble locations. Went in several times looking for newly released books where they would have maybe one copy stashed away on the top floor somewhere. This has occurred multiple times. This latest time I had gone in looking for a newly released book that was a top release on Amazon and the old male worker at this location proceeded to tell me they only had one copy in the back because he didn’t think it was a relevant story…… when I questioned him about it, it was so clear he had not read the book nor knew what he was talking about… I don’t think Barnes and Noble employees should decided amongst themselves which books the would like to put out on display…. Needless to say if you want a better experience I would choose a different location.

Gia Bankanella: Great bookstore. Coffee shop inside. Awesome space for browsing and cozy seats to check out purchases before buying. Overall, a wonderful spot for books, games, toys, and more.

Kay David: If I could give below 1 star I absolutely would. I entered the store on a Sunday evening, and upon entering the store, I was immediately yelled at and loudly misgendered by an employee. It was embarrassing, and surely all the cashiers and customers at the cash register heard this employee. They asked (still yelling rudely) if I needed help finding anything because they closed the floor. I had to ask why, since the hours posted on Yelp via Google Maps say they close at 9pm. After reading other reviews, it seems POC are not treated well at this location. For future reference, perhaps a greeter directly at the door letting people know you are closing would be more effective in conveying this message. Terrible customer service.

Daniel Flores: been looking for a new book to read, and even tho me and my family showed up 5mins before closing, the staff was amazing with helping us and not rushing us..

Latavia Reed: Worst experience i have ever had at barnes and noble. Im just going to order books from amazon now. At least there is no cashier judging my taste of books

Jamal Wheeler: Hi i have been shopping here for years since high school , the store manger John decides to follow me around like i am trying to steal because of my skin color , not all black people steal. The staff hear are racesit now i know why. I did call the company to make a report, when i said something to John about what he did, this has happened before, he starts yelling and cussing, if you are of a different skin color you will be treated by racesit staff . Never shopping here again.

Vick Rekhi: It's got a cafe, good selection of books for the casual reader, and a pretty great selection of board games in the heart of Clarendon. What more could I ask for?

Octavia Wilson: I have always loved this store its quiet clean and have a huge selection of books.

Jabrail Smith: Listening to music.... quietly I sat. Meditated 1st, before actually picking a book. Plans on checking out a book emerged in me finishing a book. "The Secret" amazing book. Amazing location. Amazing store.

Barnes & Noble: what do users think?

Subrina W: Convenient, ample parking lot's of selection , Several staff available to help co-located with Starbucks coffee shop. Clean restroom in the back of the store!! I love this place

virginie gimenez: You do not go to Barnes for its uniqueness but for its endearing familiarity. I absolutely love this brand. A Barnes and Noble is an experience for readers who loves well organized, trendy, and easy access best sellers. This is not a place for readers who love used books, who loves to try to find something old and smelly. Today I went to browse out the horror section and I get a happy feeling just looking at new, unopened novels. I discovered or rediscovered favorites and fell for intriguing covers. You also go to Barnes and No le for its fun puzzles, desk decoration, and unique board game only sold there.

Peaches and Sourcream Children’s Foundation, inc.: The Peaches and Sourcream Children’s Foundation, Inc. really loves and appreciate the staff at this location. It is because of their generosity they helped to jumpstart our new initiative allowing the organization to build libraries in ten homes for children in grades Kindergarten-3rd. Starting in September until June ( based on the school year) each child receives 1-3 books monthly. The books are bestsellers and highly engaging. We can not thank them enough— special shout out to assistant store manager Heather!❤️

benjamin thomas: Great selection of books for all ages. Highly recommended, if you'd like to grab a book.

Paulette Paglia: Very nice store with friendly knowledgeable staff. I did not even gave to ask for assistance. An employee saw my looking confused and immediately came to help direct me to what I was looking for. She even took the time to walk me to that section.

Weekend Warrior: A great little cafe and book store. Everything is spaced out and I enjoyed my time here. Try to respect the 30 minute rule for everyone to sit and enjoy.

Gina Stewart: If you want books, Barnes & Noble has you covered! But Barnes & Noble also carries movie DVDs, music on CDs and albums, puzzles, toys and they have Starbucks on hand to feed your cafeine needs too! It's a clean place to include the restrooms. Carla Hampton: I love Barnes N Noble and thankful that their physical stores are still open! Friendly staff always, great selection of books and easy to find titles, genres and authors you're looking for. I also like the option to sit in and enjoy the cafe.

Shaun Hill: There are so few bookstores left around these days that it’s hard to have anything to compare it too. This location is close enough for me to visit during my lunch breaks, and I enjoy just browsing l. The layout is nice and allows plenty of room to peruse.

A Mac: I can walk in this place and explore all the books for hours.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other optional food and items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location offers a free underground parking garage.

Nsoseh Quistoran: I went there to pick some stuff for myself. Good prizing and amazing products. Recommended to go shopping 🛒🛒

Will Kidd: I'm from Michigan this is my first time being to a Walmart set up like this and it was great basement parking and the crazy thing the escalator for your shopping cart that's wow 😲

Brittany Jeffries: It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

K A: Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. They have different sections such as the pharmacy, bike shop, auto care, money center, entertainment and household items section to mention a few. taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

scmi7y: Not too good experience, they did not have any of the 4 things we came for. Also they don't sell graphic cards in this store. Staff was 50/50 some was very helpful and good attitude. While others seemed annoyed by customers getting in their way and asking "stupid" questions. Somewhat hard to navigate the store. And prices has gone up lately.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Urban Outfitters: what do users think?

Rebecca Whitehouse: Big open store with good selection. The sale section is abundant and the downstairs mens section is substantial compared to other Urban stores. Good customer service experience as well!

ABA Consulting: Awful customer service at the cashier. The young lady racially profiled me and called security because she claimed I was making her “uncomfortable.” I was simply making polite conversation with her. Do better

Samantha: I spoke to the manager Kelsey, a women with a lot of tattoos, She was super rude and unapproachable. I do believe it was because of my skin color because a brown skin women. I overheard her as well telling her other associate to watch a Black man (Who she accused of stealing). Overall horrible environment if you are a person of color. That manager is EVIL

Stuart Royall: Not for me but my 15 year old daughter loved almost everything. Nicely laid out and great vibe.

Andreu: Big store with nice atmosphere but we didn't find shoes in there, that was what we were looking for😃

Jordan Petrie: I went to this store with my girlfriend for the first time , to return something. We were having some issues with the return so the associate called over the manager Kelsey. She was super rude and unwelcoming the entire time. I will never go back to that store again.

H L.: One star to try to communicate how poor the music choice was at this Urban Outfitters, at least on Wednesday, Jan 5th around 12:30-2pm. “Steal my Sunshine” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” really? Isn’t U.O. supposed to be a trendy store, not a middle schooler’s bedroom from 2007? This isn’t even the first time I’ve heard “Steal my Sunshine” played at this location, meaning there’s an employee whose music taste is just not at all suited to be broadcast all over the store who gets wayyyy too much access. I don’t need Top 40, but please don’t let that person ever control the music again!

Michael uthe: This an awesome place with excellent staff. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Aprils Advice, Advocacy & Advancement!: Expected NYC standard of excellent as the first store is there.

kwame S.: I love urban. They offer affordable classy clothing.

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Henok Garedew (Henny breezy): There is always problems in this specific Walmart all the timeI don’t recommend it

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?
