Som Records: what do users think?

Aaron Phillips: Sweet basement record shop with a good selection of jazz, blues and various rock albums. Some cool obscure finds in there, but a good amount of recognizable stuff too. Has a good old school charm to it.

Brandon williams: Came in here today, and decided to share my thoughts.. First off the guy behind did not say a single word the entire time we were in the shop. Not a hello or greeting or anything. I guess he didn’t really want business that bad if he couldn’t even say hello. Second, the record selection is disorganized and hard to find anything besides new releases. Third, they are a bit on the pricier side.. not too overpriced, but still overpriced. So yeah, definitely not the best record store like people in previous reviews have stated.

Indio Prather: Great record selection, helpful staff. I would love more signage outside. It is easy to walk right past it if you're not vigilant and looking for the address.

Ameen Karim: A wonderful used record store! Definitely a heavy focus on more instrumental, jazz, blues, and the like. Plenty of interesting finds in the world section and new releases as well. The guy at the counter was awesome and fun to talk to, was helpful and nice. Only problem was that the records were overpriced for the quality of the used records (VG to VG+), definitely should be more fairly priced

Marc Neilson: Delightful little shop with some excellent browsing racks. Found some great soundtracks and noticed tons of cool old and brand new stuff.

Sonia Cumber: Owner Neal is the best! Very experienced in vintage artist and albums!

Dave Hoenack: This is a wonderful record store! Absolutely a must-visit for record collectors when they're in DC!!!

Mark Manthy: Proprietor really knew his stuff. There’s a turntable with headphones right there so you can listen to whatever you want before you buy it. Walked out with a few very hard to find older Go Go records. He said he can’t keep them on the shelves so I was lucky. Great place. Can spend hours in there if you’re not careful.

Graeme King: Great local record shop. Helpful staff and a good selection of new and used vinyl.

Clara Hadley: Great selection of records!! The dude who worked there was super helpful as well! :)

Byrdland Records: what do users think?

Saminda Wijegunawardena: Really solid store. Diverse collection of vinyl for such a small joint. Most records are new but they have a few stacks of used. Pricey but good cuts. I picked up an Al Green record, a classic Prince record, and a Thelonious Monk live limited edition for a total of about $80. Friendly staff, not snobby.

Josef Hartzel: Good selection and well organized. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful (even gave me some free promo stickers) about the business and their ordering processes. The coolest part is they actually keep a stock of the albums from bands that play at their location up the street (SongByrd) so if you catch a show but can't get an album then you can always get one later! 10/10 will always pop in if in the area.

Marie Chase: Felt completely unwelcomed from the moment I walked in. Not a single greeting or acknowledgement from employees. I over heard a woman saying she was an owner and they just stared at me while they conversed about how “dangerous” Mexico is. One of the employees then followed me around without saying anything as if I was going to steal. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything because I didn’t want to support such terrible customer service and while their selection is mid most of their vinyl are over priced and hard to shuffle through. Find another record shop, this is not it.
Response: I am sorry that you felt that way. To clarify and give some context I was talking to two regulars who work in humanitarian aid at the boards for people who are stuck waiting for entry, also I apologize if I did not see you come in. I also, was the only one working at the store, whoever you thought was an employee following you would have to have been another customer who was shopping. I never want a customer to feel unwelcome and I hope you can give us another chance.

Corey Graham: Very cool joint with a massive new vinyl selection. Smaller but diverse used section. Loved it.

Kyle del Villar: An all around incredible record store that features new and old vinyl that can appease anyones taste. They also have a nice selection of record players and audio equipment to help people get set up or upgrade their current sound systems. This place is a must stop for music lovers.

Nikki S: I completely agree with one of the comments lower down that employees come off as pretentious and unhelpful. We were there earlier and tried to be polite and careful when looking through albums. We were going to buy a couple of vinyls but ended up leaving empty handed because the guy behind the counter was not very nice and seemed like people in the store were a nuisance more than anything. He was on his phone and I understand that sometimes you don’t want to be bothered, but seriously? At one point, the guy there actually ignored my friend. Good selection of vinyls and nice music, but no need for such negativity. The employees should drop the arrogance and maybe more people will want to buy.

Lee Davis: Always a great experience to dig through the deep selection of superb vinyl. The staff is super knowledgeable, and so positive when helping and answering questions. They have new music, some surprising finds, and then some "diamond-in-the-rough" used vinyl to get lost in, and eventually end up spending your paycheck, with a smile though! We brought home a nice haul, but I always leave things behind that I still want. No worries, we'll be back to get them!

Josh Davis: This is a very neat record shop in a unique location. It's the best spot in DC that I've found so far for new releases. Will be returning!

RedRudaProductions: Great! Lots to choose from and they can order stuff for you. Good amount of classics on sale or on discount. They carry speakers, record players, and more. First time, I got there about 20 minutes before they open and a staff member open the door for me, he took time from eating his lunch to help me with questions. Really nice place!

Cody Cox: A very nice record store. They have a pretty solid selection of newer and unique records (while their used selection was more limited). Their space is very fun and they have a lot of offerings beyond the standard store (equipment and events). The only major drawback I thought was in the pricing department. From what I could tell average record was around $30.

Mobius Records: what do users think?

H Y: Recently found my old CD player and wanted to purchase some albums to listen to., The staff at Mumbai records was extremely helpful and even recommended me some CDs to check out. I'm now jaming out listening to some RGTM and enjoying it.

Robert Simmons: My favorite record store in Northern Virginia. Great selection of new vinyl, along with a solid rotating used section. The entire staff is super friendly and always willing to answer any questions. This crew makes it a joy to buy local!

Mike Alchus: Easily my favorite record shop in the Northern VA area. Not only do they always have a great selection of both new and used vinyl, there staff is what truly sets them apart: super friendly and knowledgeable, quick to make a great recommendation based on something you ask them about.

Nick Oettinger: Excellent local record store with a well-curated inventory and friendly staff. Always worth a visit if you're in Fairfax and want to browse records.

Ameen Karim: Loved this place, it's located conveniently in the middle of Fairfax city. I suspect that's why their prices are on the higher side. Otherwise great selection of newer albums, although could use more used albums. Very little in that regard. I enjoyed visiting, the staff was friendly and cool. Nice environment considering the pandemic. They took precautions and the owner seems to take safety seriously! Which is as a customer 100% what you want to see. Will be back!
Response: Thank you, Ameen!

Samuel McCain: Great selection GREAT prices. A lovely record store. I have been to many and this is one of my new favorites. Gordon lightfoot playing in the background 👌 new and used records.

Anya Bender: Customer service is top notch and I love browsing their collection of vinyl. Even when I get something online for pickup I always leave with more that I pick up while browsing.

Danniel Rodarte: Highly recommend visiting Mobius Records. It’s clean, organized and has a lovely selection of all genres. We’re casual vinyl enthusiasts and we’re able to find some great selections in store. Their website is awesome because you can check what type of albums they carry in store. The icing on the cake is the sweet tunes they play while you browse the store.

Chris L: Love this shop. I always leave with a great addition to my collection. Guys knoe their stuff for the most part.

DAN ABH: Hands down my favorite record store and quite frankly the best in the DMV. The staff is top notch friendly, knowledgeable, and just straight up cool. Been shopping here for years. It's super tidy and clean. Very large collection of New records and re-releases. Not a huge a selection of used however there are many other shops in the DMV that have large amounts of used. But even with that said they have a good selection of used titles. Bottom line is that Mobius caters to all different typed of collectors which is why I like it so much. Not many record stores do that.

CD Cellar: what do users think?

Erin McCarty Bell: Visited for the first time today and it was awesome! We've had terrible luck with many local stores either having overly niche selections, not being open when they should be, or just generally rude staff. CD Cellar was clean, organized, had an incredible selection, and the staff was great. Without knowing it, we spent nearly 2 hours exploring the store and were thrilled with the records we purchased and finding this fantastic store.
Response: Aaaaawww… thanks so much for the lovely review. We’re so happy to know that you had a good experience. We hope to see you again. -David/CDCellar.

Claire White: Love this place. Their new vinyl section has a great selection. I always find everything I'm looking for and some fun surprises. You can tell they love music here. The kind and welcoming staff always makes me feel excited about my purchases. ("Ohhhhh! Nice! This is a great one!")
Response: Thanks Claire!

Alejandro Vinas: Has a great selection of CDs, movies, Vinyls, and books generally about various aspects of culture, all at affordable rates. They also maintain a solid trade in service that's helped me during spring cleaning! I love this place and think it's one of, if not, the best music stores in Northern Virginia.
Response: Thank you so much!

Josh Roberts: CD Cellar is one cool little local record store! It seems like these places are a dying breed as more people give up on owning their music on a physical format and gravitate towards streaming or downloads. I have Spotify myself but I like the improved audio quality of CDs. There are some lossless streaming options out there but I also like owning my music on a physical format. I also have a tendency to skip around when I listen to a steaming service but putting a physical album on kind of forces me to listen to the whole thing, the way it was intended to be heard. I'm a getting a bit off topic, but my point is that even in this era of music consumption there are still good reasons to buy CDs or vinyl (which CD Cellar also traffics in). I wanted to put that out there as a rebuttal to the people who don't see the point in record stores and hopefully to encourage some of them to change their minds. Anyway, back to CD Cellar -- it's a great little spot and has a wide variety of music which is all pretty well organized. From looking around the shelves it seemed like they were a little lacking in certain genres (hip hop, rap, and country), but there's a lot of rock, jazz, and classical. Unless I missed a different shelf or part of the store, which is entirely possible. In any case you should be able to find the seminal works of each genre and then some. The prices are great and the CDs I bought were high quality. In addition to music, they also have some new and used hi fi components, which I thought was a cool touch. I didn't see any of the items for sale hooked up but the person working the desk was friendly and I think they'd probably let you demo something if you were interested. All in all, CD Cellar is an awesome store and I would support them again.

Lauren Shelton: A large variety of records available at reasonable prices. We were able to find quite a few to bring home with us.

Adam Howell (Blaxel): This place is a music lovers heaven. There is so much to look at and you could literally spend all day just finding new music and your favorites. Very good prices on new and used and very well organized with listening stations If needed.

John Dillon: Bought 2 albums on Tuesday, had them shipped a few states away. Arrived on Thursday. Perfect packing. Top notch. Highly recommend.

muscle man: amazing store, friendly staff (with good music taste) and usually not to pricy prices. i've been to many music stores that are honestly have pretentious people that work there and CD Cellar is the exact opposite. The location is also amazing considering the fact that its right next to Action Music (a good music store).
Response: Thanks! We try to be cool to everyone.

Katie Beth Hicks: I entered with a quest, obtain records for my Secret Santa who has a hard time finding records in his country-side residence (in another country). I knew little about my giftee, but had access to his 'recently played' Spotify list. The employees are awesome and the store is well organized. I found two records that represented music I grew up with (Big Chill soundtrack and hawaiian classics) and then turned to the employees with the Spotify list. One employee in particular reviewed the list, clarified the age of the recipient, and then she picked records keeping with my budget - an album from his list, a local band he'd enjoy, and another record (or two). She set me up with a mailing box and packaging to keep them safe. I added a canvas print and another small item or two, reinforced the box with some extra tape, and pirateshipped via UPS. The records reached my recipient 3 days later unscathed and my giftee has loved listening to the records, especially her picks. Easy to navigate overall; employees are effective, efficient, and kind; and prices range from market rate (Pixies) to amazing (second-hand Big Chill and hawaiiana).

Martin Roberts: An awesome new and used record and CD store... Have been several times and always buy some vinyl.

Sonya Williams (Wildflowers and Hooyahs): Absolutely in love with this place! Spent the afternoon there with my son and he found some great vinyls as well!

Carl May: Love the variety that this place provides but it's TOO MUCH to just browse. They have stock in boxes piled all over the place. So much selection you can't track it. Go in with a list and stick to it. Good luck!

Bonnie Jones: This is my all time favorite place for music and movies. It's outlasted Errols, Blockbuster and Hollywood Rentals. Love love love the workers and great customer service. Thank You all for all you've done through the years for my children an I...

Matthew Nguyen: A fun store to visit, with a huge selection but it's disorganized? Asked for two titles, and despite them saying they have said titles, they were nowhere to be found. Also it's just very cluttered and messy. Still a fun visit with a lot of inventory! Best place for a miles and miles to get physical media. Stop by if you have the time.

james harvin: We took about 30 vinyl albums there weeks ago. The clerk claimed that the owner had to check them out. We've followed up twice and still have not heard anything from them.

Charles Wright: Great place. They are really cool folks! They have a great collection of CDs,,DVDs , vinyls, and they buy them from you as well. I Highly recommend them.

Chris Stoddard: CD Depot has been my #1 source for finding rare/out-of-print music on CD and vinyl records for almost 10 years now. It remains one of the few remaining music retail stores on the East Coast.......for me.

Lynn: It's a store where you can find records and 💿 and all the old music you desire. The store is pretty messy but very organized. I got four two disc CD's for $50.

T. G.: This place is amazing if you like Nostalgia they have it they had the biggest selection of CDs in all genres of music video games old and new consoles all types of stuff a place is just a really awesome store I highly suggest anyone who ever comes near it to definitely check it out

Francois Smith: Pretty much a disaster. Record selection in the rock section is really picked over, meanwhile there are mountains of unopened boxes of vinyl they haven't bothered to process. Staff is rude. Most record stores I walk out with dozens of cool finds. Here I rarely walk out with anything at all.

Washington Street Books & Music: what do users think?

James P. Poole: Excellent vintage store for books, music, VHS, old magazines. The owner is very knowledgeable. Take your time in this store: there are real movie customers worn by famous actors and actresses on display. Lots of Star Wars merchandise!
Response: Thank you so much! We really appreciate the Great Review! If you enjoyed the Movie Costumes, we are always putting out New displays. Thank you again John

Erin Clayton: Super cute and quirky shop in havre de grace. We were in from out of town and the owners were so kind and welcoming, showing us all the cool costumes and vintage collectibles they offered. It was also possibly the biggest selection of music I’ve ever seen. So glad we stopped in, you should definitely do the same!

CharmCity Chick63: This bookstore is amazing when you walk in the door it has that smell, you know the book bind Smell. Located in downtown Haver de grace Maryland if you stop here to see the wonderful historic landmarks lighthouse. And you’re in need of a good read, Stop on by. You will find every subject matter, walls of books. If you’re a book a reader then this is your shop !!
Response: Wow! Thank you so much for such a Wonderful Review! We really appreciate it ! Please stop back often ..when you get a chance. We are always putting New items out too. Thanks again John

Chris Slavens: Large and well-organized selection of old and new books. Prices are appropriate; you probably won't find a steal, but you'll pay a fair price. Proprietor is friendly and knowledgeable about his books, especially those with a local angle. The many movie costumes and props are an unusual bonus for a bookstore.
Response: Thank you so much for the 5 Star Review! We really appreciate it too! Hope you will come back often and check out all the new items coming out! Thanks again John

David S: This place is really amazing. It has an extension collection of old and more recent books, music CDs and LPs, movie memorabilia, magazines, toys, comics, and numerous other items. Very organized, too, and many older books and various items are wrapped in plastic, which is a nice touch to keep them protected. And there's a huge Star Wars collection, and a very friendly, older dog up front, too. Great place to spend a couple hours and find that collectible you've been looking for.
Response: Wow! Thanks you for such a Great Review! We really appreciate the 5 Stars too! We are always adding new stuff everyday and we change out the Costumes on display to set up New Exhibits, ... so we hope you will come back often . Thanks again John

Heather Putman: What a unique, fun store full of surprises around every corner! Books on every topic, and a mini museum of costumes and movie props. The owner is an absolute delight to chat with - he has fun stories and the most infectious laughter! His shop makes for a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!
Response: Thanks so much Heather for the Wonderful Review. It was a Pleasure. Please come see us when you are in town. Really enjoyed the visit John

Tearra Gee: Customer service is good. A large selection, especially the horror and young adult fiction genre. The books are priced fairly. Most books are older (dated). Customer service rep was able to check current stock. Has "older" small collection of vinyl records. Interestingly, this place has gaming cards and tournaments as well as authentic movie set costumes for sale and hot wheels (toy cars). This place across from a coffee shop. So perhaps, buy a book and grab a coffee at the sit-in coffee shop across the street. Overall, nice area to park (on street parking is free). Parking spaces available in front of the shop. I would not mind returning. Lastly, the owner seems to keep a large dog inside the shop. The dog was really quiet and I almost missed it, sitting in a chair. I'm mentioning this for people who may have allergies or are afraid of dogs.

Maddi Evans: this place is amazing. John is a blast from the past to talk too . 10/10 recommended i could spend hours here !
Response: Wow! Thanks for such a Great Review! We really appreciate it and Glad you enjoyed the store! Thank you again ! John

Alice Miller: I really enjoy this place. I only get down to town once in a while, but it's always nice to stop by. Happy the dog is great! This places has books on practically anything you might need. For anyone who is a fan of mtg this place is a good hub for that. They also have a really cool set up with a rotating display. There's a lot of history here.
Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! we really appreciate it, and love that you stop by when you are in Town! Thank you again. John and " Happy" says Thanks too!

Red Raven: Best book store in Harford County. Great selection of antique and modern books. Also Comic books, collectable toys and records. They have a large collection of movie props and costumes.

Crown Pawnbrokers: what do users think?

Myi Oui: this was my first time at a pawn shop so i was nervous but it was quick and friendly service. sold my items and received cash for it and it didn't take more than about 20 minutes. if you don't want to deal with the hassle of selling online just come in here and get cash in hand, ofc you're not going to get nearly as much as if you sold it yourself online but if that doesn't bother u much this is a great place to go.
Response: Thanks for the great review 👍

Derek Dissell: I purchased a watch at $900+ and wore it maybe 5-7 times. The band started fraying and I requested that they try to glue it back since a watch in good condition shouldn't have such serious issues so quickly. They flatly refused and therefore lose my business going forward
Response: Hi Derek, I'm sorry you are having a problem with the watch band on this item you purchased 4 months ago. Unfortunately we do not Repair bands. We do offer replacements and furnish them.

Activity: The best pawnshop ever. No time limits, or late fees both in purchases and borrowing. They'll keep your products intact, very low and affordable interest rates. Great family that treats you with respect and consideration. I love this place!!
Response: Thanks for the great review 👍 😀

Harold Mitchell: I had once given the store a 5 star rating, two months ago, but since I didn't receive a response from the owner like others who given a perfect rating, now I'll just give 3 stars!
Response: Hi Harold, sorry we did not thank you promptly as we should. We dropped the ball. I hope you reconsider and come on in for some more 5 star service. Thanks for your support. -Mike

Francis Jafari: I have been to many pawn shops throughout my life! I’m a bit of a junkie for them. I love shopping there and finding great things for great prices. I will say crown pawn shop is by far the best I’ve ever encountered! Everyone there is so amazing and willing to help anyway they can! Just ask for mike and he will drop what he’s doing to help. He has always been fair and given me the best deals and gives top dollar for all my items. They also have a female staff member, mrs Jessica who has extensive knowledge of jewelry and can really help you with all questions you have and will work with your budget to help send you home with the ring or watch you desire! All in all this is a 5 star pawn shop and I would recommend it over and over again, so make it your first stop if you’re looking for great deals and great staff!!!
Response: Thanks for your thoughtful review. You are awesome

nick: Amazing service! I love this place! I just bought my wife and daughter last minute gifts, and they were all very helpful. They helped me pick out a necklace and a bracelet. The prices were great. I really liked the omegas and Rolex’s they have for sale. I’ll be back
Response: Thanks nick for the great review.

TODD DILLERSON: If your looking for the best place for any kind of assistance along with the best customer service available go to Crown Pawnbrokers. This place is ran by a unbelievable management and staff who make you feel comfortable and at home ! I’m a regular here and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thanks guys !!
Response: Thanks for the great review Todd 👍

Carlton Reynolds: I have been a long time customer of Crown Pawn , they are hard working , generous and fair when it matters most , at least I can say that for myself I have been given a fair shake . . .
Response: Thanks Carlton.

Nakita Anderson: My son and I have been coming to this establishment for games since he was 5 he is now 12 and he loves to come and see these wonderful people. My son is into gaming and I’ve learned so much about it with their help and the greeting we get from everyone is so warming. They have been around for so long and the variety of things they have are reasonable and no matter the item, there’re always someone with knowledge of it, check them out, you will come out with the best deals and not to mention the politeness and helpfulness. We love them
Response: You both are so kind. Thank you. 😊

Leon Elliot: This place saves my life every time I’m in a bind and it’s the only place in DC where I can find quality products from my jewelry to my camera equipment love it here
Response: Thanks for the great review.

Songbyrd Music House: what do users think?

Omar Abu-sabha: I loved going to this place that was located in Adams Morgan. Halfway between concert hall and cafeteria. They have not been able to maintain the essence in the new location. However, they still have a pretty interesting agenda of events, a fantastic atmosphere, and affordable prices. The Drag Queen's night is quite good, fun, and with many points of clever and spicy humor.

Stacy Walker: Really really love this space! It was so intimate, but still felt like a full house with lots of fun! Bartenders were great, line wasn't too long to get in, and they had a masked & vaxxed requirement

Arthenia “Art” Pendragon: Band was great but the venue wasn't. The area around the place is pretty rough, even for DC. There is no seating at all. Just one small table. And for someone like me with severe back problems having to stand for an entire performance can be very painful. Only reason I stayed was cause it was a band that I really liked. Before we even got in we had to stand in the cold for over half an hour past the opening time cause they took forever to check everyone (and we were at the front of the line). Staff were fairly friendly and there was plenty of parking in the union market parking lot.

Don Knieriem: New live music venue/bar in DC. They recently relocated here from a spot deeper in the city. This place is pretty sparse... an elevated stage in front of a big, flat, concrete floor. I'd guess room for maybe 150 peeps? Not much seating at all. Some limited pub type food offerings, and alcohol of course. Nice stage with decent lighting and sound. Not much parking as with most of DC.

Kelton Higgins: The new location sounds amazing. The old location was fighting some unavoidable / unwinnable small room issues. No longer. Big open space with an unobstructed view of the stage from everywhere. Sound is a perfect balance of clear and punchy without any harshness.

Kristin Dunbar: Love this place. Cozy but never cramped. Sound quality beats most of the bigger venues. Everyone is super friendly (a rarity in DC). Easy to get to via Metro & plenty of on-street free parking.

Amethyst Edmond: Went here for a Saleka concert (check out her music) Lovely, intimate venue. Staff was amazing and the food was really good. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well as food for the omnivores. They've recently moved to their current location and split the business in two. So there are no records/merch sales at this location however, they have a record store called Brydland Records down the road. Shout out to Chadwick for being an amazing bartender as well. Was a great time
Response: We are so glad you like our new space! We love Chadwick too, he is an amazing.

John Barnhart: Nice little live music venue. Went to see a place to bury strangers. Cool show, sound wasn't really dialed in, too much mids and highs but nothing some earplugs won't solve

addie Cookie: saw Ritt Momney here and had an amazing time!! fast line and good drink selection! this venue is just the right size to see your favorite small artists!

Carib Gem: A great place to experience Live local music! Great space. There's a upstairs & downstairs. The food is delicious. The Fully Loaded Tater Tots & West Coast Mac n Cheese are delicious. If you like whiskey or brandy definitely try the "Old Fashion".

Target: what do users think?

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: Very nice and clean store parking available in the basement, Only problem always low on the food inventor and produce and grocery.

Cliodhna MacFadden: We purchased the Element 65” TV, and after 3 days the backlight broke. We tried everything to fix it. Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. I Will Be Reaching Out To Corporate!

Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Adah Deveaux: This review is for the starbucks within target. My drinks were great but a little of a wait. The actual target was customary.

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Target: what do users think?

Sassy Sauce: This store opened a couple years ago and it’s always nice and clean. The day I went after work the store must have just received a truck because there were boxes of product on most of the aisles. But this store is generally very clean and organized. This isn’t a normal sized target though, it’s definitely smaller and has more of a convenient store type feel. But all of the normal Target staples are still there. There is parking under the store and it’s accessible using the escalators or elevator. There is a Starbucks as well. It’s a great store to visit!

Amreen Shafiuddin: poorly managed target.. no one knew answers for anything. customer service was poor. stocking issues in all the aisles. boxes everywhere.. the food items especially bread section don’t have best before stickers on them. when questioned, they just saw each other faces. poorly managed.

Tracie: Pros: Near my home. New store. Available parking structure. Decent customer service. By decent i mean - I haven't had a negative experience with the customer but no one has gone above and beyond helping me. Cons: Generally feels empty. Yet every time I enter the store i notice staff are in the middle of restocking and have crates of things in the middle of the hallways blocking the pass way. This was even before covid so not sure whats going on (pictures shown from Dec 2021). Also, doesn't appear to be a parking attendant so anytime anyone lost their ticket, their is chaos trying to get out. Finally, prices seem a little higher than other targets, i get the sense that because its smaller things are limited and maybe marked up? Or maybe its just inflation and the whole food chain/ports being a hot mess.

Mysiki X Valentine: Whoa! Let me begin on a positive. There is a cashier (older Black woman) Joan, who is the most pleasant staff worker. However, the younger staff can often be found tucked away on phones, having side conversation and etc..so finding help is always difficult. In addition, the customer service could never be described as friendly. But it does not end there, this is one of the worst Target’s I’ve ever went shopping. The store shelves stay empty. I recently order Beats headphones online for pick-up, I was emailed saying my order was ready—but when I got to the store the manager cancelled my order, stating the item was not in the store. Long behold, I walked to the back and there sat 3) pairs of the same item I came to pick-up. Her attitude was out of this world, I couldn’t believe she worked in customer service. No matter what time of the day, the aisles have carts full of products yet to be put away. Makes the store seem chaotic and disorganized. If it’s a quick stop, I’d advise going elsewhere. Looking to do serious shopping, never stop here. To end on a positive the food section is normally well stocked and presented nicely.

Kareem Carter: Lets start by saying I am appreciative of having a Target in this area of DC. The parking facility is safe and well lit, the store was reasonably stocked and clean. My gripe is with the professionalism of the management and the completely ineffective way they run the checkout line. they funneled everyone through one line and when several customers skipped the single line and went straight to the register, they were allowed to do so.....causing frustration to the other customers in the line. This was brought to the lead employees attention and she sarcastically dismissed my frustration. They should really signage up on how the checkout line works!

Erin Truax: I have been to this Target a few times because it is the most convenient for me (and parking is easy) but I always leave feeling very frustrated. There are constantly boxes of inventory waiting to be unpacked that are blocking the aisles and many shelves are often missing product. I have shopped at different times and on different days, but this seems to be on ongoing issue for this location. If you’re able, I recommend a different location.

J Por: Went in for some quick toys for my nieces and nephew. Turned in to their Loss Prevention racially profiling my partner, and followed us around the store the entire time for 60 dollars worth of merchandise, part of which, we had to find an employee to get. We initially went in to make a return, and unfortunately had the idea to shop the last bit of our list. Workers letting people (guy in a blue hoodie was wearing a red shirt so possible employee?) walk around without a mask even though DC has a mandate, and the stores inventory is always in the way. Should have been more concerned following him to give him a mask instead of two people who were in your store less than 25 minutes. Overheard an employee talking about managers asking the team to get tested because of a potential positive employee. Overall, the worst experience I’ve had by far. I’ve been a consistent customer for three years, but no more. This location is best avoided. Trust me.

livingmytruth 2: Joan has the best customer service ever. I came in this location with my 98 year old grandma and she made my grandma feel sooo good and proud and she really has a positive attitude. Thank you for making my grandmother’s shopping experience so pleasant . I will actually make this my home store now because of her pleasant demeanor

Aaron Blackmon: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go to a Walmart that is all red and has Target signs? Well wait no longer! This will fit the bill. The validated parking is a mess. The store is never stocked but simultaneously stocking everything at once and the lines are NEVER open. I only went there after learning my initial lesson months ago because it’s so close and I wanted to get a few things but even still it wasn’t worth it.

Chris Todd: The staff inside the store were friendly and helpful. However, the parking attendant was about as useless as a square wheel. I wanted to recharge my car. The sign in front of the chargers read "See attendant to activate". This dude was just sitting in his car. He refused to get up and wave whatever card he needed to wave to unlock the charging station. He didn't even acknowledge me other than saying "Uh". I tried activating the station with my SemaConnect app, but the station was locked out. I'm sure this Target is great, but I wouldn't come here in an EV because the dude who runs the chargers can't be bothered to get out of his car to do his job.

Target: what do users think?

Connor Black: My friend is a former employee at this establishment and I decided to post this on their behalf to protect their anonymity. First off, HR is prone to scheduling shifts at horrible times with little regard for the time you will have between shifts. Now this could be fixed if HR was more present and was available to talk about shift scheduling and issues that arise from how they do it. Secondly, the General Manager is very aggressive with their style of management. They often are talking down to people and attempting to single them out for ridicule or to give attitude to. They also have zero regard for a worker's wellbeing or health, instead putting the business before the people who have to make sacrifices for it. If you ever do call out and the GM answers, be prepared because she will try to gaslight you and talk you out of whatever your legitimate reason for not being able to come in is.

Portia Massado: I was a former employee there and the reason why I left was for a career choice and also because of the GM Jemima Canage. Jemima Canage is THE WORST GM to work for the company. Target is her LIFE and if your in school or have a second job PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. Control freak YES she is. Jemima will over work you and will not give gradititude in return unless your a male that work in her store. She talks very mean and nasty to associates like they are nothing to her. I even had an incident where she yelled and charged herself at me like I was a child. It made me very very upset and if another manager wasn’t present I would of lost my job for walking out due to Jemima poor management skills. I even had customers come in and complain about how rude and mean she is. She also like to try to undermind people like they lack common sense. She recently fired someone for no apparent reason at all. She forced that man to come to work sick after expressing that he wasn’t feeling well. And he called the ambulance for himself just to prove to Jemima that he was sick. And in the process of her firing one person she lost 8people from that store. Even her ASM left because of her, 3LPs, and 4 associates. And right before I started 6months ago the original associates that were there had already gave the new people the rundown of Jemima Canage and how much they hated her and how she acts towards her employees. She doesn’t onow how to humble herself or treat people with REPSECT. She demands it then earning it or giving it back in return. And the nexr person she raises her voice at WILL NOT be as nice cause trust me I was VERY VERY ANGRY about it. Please get rid of that bad engery in that store. I feel sorry for all the people that are still there.

Kerry Delf: Small but fairly well provisioned food section, with both snack foods and some home groceries, heavy on the convenience foods. Prices are high but better than other stores in the area. Conveniently open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, in an area where other stores close at 9 or 10, but it closes earlier on other days of the week. Free parking with store validation. Downside: Service was sparse and heavily dependent on self-service—there were no employees on the floor helping customers, and of three employees around the checkout counter, only one was operating a register, quite lackadaisically.

Peyton Doyle: Great small format Target in a really accessible part of Cleveland Park (and just steps from the Metro stop). Impressed with their selection of fresh foods. Nice home goods section too. Unique underground store. Really friendly employees! I will certainly be back.

Daniel: Right off the metro so it's convenient, not to mention, definitely bigger than you'd think. They took the investment of digging underground for the store (kind of like their NYC Tribeca location) and it definitely paid off. Validate parking when you leave since there's a lot attendant and a gate... no joke. Prices upscale for the location, but they had what I needed and would probably visit again.

Larry Gamble: I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the surroundings is a very beautiful place with a lot of awesome deals! it was a very nice experience for people are just super awesome everybody was all friendly and lot of excitement going on just keep it in the parking lot list fire I loved it

Lindsay Cooper: Purchased baby food online that was listed as in-stock. Received notifications that it was ready to pick-up. My husband went to pick it up and not only did they not have our order, they didn't have the product in stock. My husband then decided to purchase other items while he was there and was followed closely around the store by security so much that he had to ask the person to back off. I called Target HQ and they confirmed that the order was ready for pick up. I'll be going back to Amazon after this experience.

Chaturbhuj bhojwani: It is Very nice and very clean. It is small in size, but they've got everything from groceries to clothes and electronics. It is conveniently located near the red line Cleveland park metro station, and bus ( L1, L2) stop. when you walk in this location, it looks like you're at a duty-free shop at an airport. It is also a quick 5 minute walk from the zoo.

M P: Free parking but you MUST get your ticket validated in store. Great for quick Target run. You can always find helpful employees and if you don’t see what you are looking for ask and they’ll get it in stock. Great manager. Super clean store. Perfect location.

Sassi Whayz: Clean store, I love the floor separate.. x feels like a department store. Found a new favorite lady part cleaner

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Henok Garedew (Henny breezy): There is always problems in this specific Walmart all the timeI don’t recommend it

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Audio Video Xing [AVXing Records & Movies]: what do users think?

Larry Dunlap: Took a moment to check out Audio Video Xing in search of vinyl treasures. I wasn't disappointed. Found some classics and enjoyed looking around at everything. I saw every kind of media there from cassette to blu-ray and of course plenty of LP's. They had video games too. Everything, but the kitchen sink. I really enjoyed my visit and will go back if I am in the area. You should too.

Levi Roberts: Loved this place. Incredible selection of records, cassettes, 8-tracks, DVD's & VHS. All at reasonable prices. They carry both old records & new releases. Friendly conversation w/ Chris, who I think is the proprietor. He even offered a free replacement case for a cassette I was buying, since its plastic case was a bit busted. He also mentioned - and this is awesome - if any of the tapes happened to be messed up/unplayable, he'd take em back as an exchange. Highly recommend this spot.

Daniel Ogle: Awesome! Way better than its previous owner by Ross, C-D Zone. Its crazy how much of a selection they have at great prices too. And they clean every DVD disk you purchase so it's good as new. Absolutely loved this place! One problem. Now I need another storage room for all my DVDs and C-Ds. Lol

Daryn Reges: Somebody told me about this store and I went to it one day and he had a whole shelf full of kiss albums and then I bought all of them and sebody stole my creatures of the night and music from the elders and the guy said that he will look for some for me I love this store I recommend it

Natalie Tofanelli: literally my favorite place ever. i love this store with all my heart. prices are great for a 14 year old with no job. i will be buried on these grounds and marry by 3rd wife here. much love <3

Colleen D: Really fun store with lots of interesting things to choose from. There is a wide selection of music and movies, and tons of vinyl. Don't come in with a specific thing, just dig and be surprised!

Grant Settlemire: I just discovered AVX about three weeks ago and have stopped in once a week since. There is so much to see and the stock is always changing. The owners are super knowledgeable and a lot of fun to talk music with. I just picked up a couple of original pressing punk albums there...can't wait to go back!

Mr Jman 47: Good time on wensday morning we purchased guitar box of dvd and record players I think a lot more people should viste them quite often .

julie edwards: Would appreciate movies categorized by genre....you need a minute
Response: It would be great to have the time to completely categorize all of the DVDs downstairs. We do have some categories separated upstairs: westerns, war, classics, music related, sci-fi, fantasy and Disney. Downstairs is our bargain floor with most of the DVDs priced to sell at $3 and under. For the amount of time it would take to completely categorize thousands of movies and manage the ongoing flow of DVDs, we would have to raise of prices. We may try and separate horror/scary movies and comedies in the future. Other than that, you have action, drama, suspense, etc. with many cross genres. We’ll do what we can to continue to sell DVDs at low prices.

Gregory Hess: Owner did not even look up when we walked in. I introduced myself. He said little more than hello. Store is disorganized and dirty. A lot of product, but no idea where anything was. Saw no indication of indexing. store was a ghost town. Asked a few questions and got short, one word answers. Won't be back. Very disappointing. Probably would have spent a lot of money there, as I am a huge collector. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. I would sooner drive an hour away to Pittsburgh.
Response: First of all, we have been recovering from our bottom floor being flooded, a rapidly declining DVD industry and a changing music industry. We are currently working on adding a larger vinyl selection and CD selection. We simply have too much stuff for the space and are trying to find a way to fit everything on shelves and any nook and cranny we can find. Stuff comes in daily and we do our best to sort out the ‘good stuff’ and get them out on shelves first. We will keep making improvements and will continue to sell Music and Movies as long as people are still looking for them. I’m glad to hear that someone said hello to you. That’s more than you’ll get at most other stores. We may not be the most outgoing people at all times, but we are friendly people. He could have been involved in something that needed to be done and couldn’t greet you with a smile as you entered the building. I know that I try to say hello to everyone that walks through that door. Some people don’t even respond and just want to look for something and be left alone. That’s Okay, we understand that. We see a lot of different people from all walks of life. If you’ve ever worked in retail, you may know that you just can’t please everyone and sometimes there are mismatched expectations. You mention indexing. We do not have everything on a database, if that’s what you mean. It is not affordable or possible to do that and sell discs for as low as we do. We do separate by genre and by letter in genre. People usually look around to see if they find something that they may want to add to their collections. Music is separated by type of music. When you have 1000’s of items it does take some effort to look though them. We will do our best to help you find what you’re looking for. It’s hit or miss on finding specific titles and always has been. The sheer volume of releases of records and movies over the years makes it more of a challenge to always have the item you may be looking for. We rely on what is brought to us to trade it sell. We will order items for those who can not do online ordering for whatever reasons. As an Record Store Day approved store, we have access to many indie exclusives on vinyl. It is not always a “ghost town” here. A lot of times there may be one person. Other times a few or none. It’s retail and we’re not in a plaza or strip mall because it is not affordable for this type of store to operate at those spaces. Especially since it takes a lot of square footage to display thousands of different titles of music and movies in many formats. By the way, that wasn’t the owner.

Target: what do users think?

Edward Holman: I’ve been coming here since August and they are rarely ever stocked, even when the website says items are in stock. Target needs to find a better way for the in-store inventory to better communicate with the website inventory and keep the shelves stocked. I don’t think it’s a individual store problem, rather a problem with Corporate. I will rate this Target 3 stars because of the floor associates. They are always nice and go above and beyond to help out. Kudos to them!

Yessenia C: This location is conveniently closer to my home than other targets however their product availability is limited. I believe this is an express version of Target. They have small electronics, clothing, market, and home sections. The health, beauty, personal hygiene section is pretty large. Once you know what they do and don't carry it's easier to know what you can purchase there. But it's always clean, good customer service.

MAC Cover: This review deals only with drive up services at Georgia Ave. and Eastern Ave. store in Washington, D.C. Due to a physical impairment another collects my pick up orders. I would not be writing this review if the incident happened once but several times is too much to handle. This location isn't set up for drive up because they constantly leave items out of your order but charge your card. Either Target has someone working drive up who can't read, see, or both. Recently, placed drive up order for paper towels and other items. Got notice from app order was ready which included the paper towels. When order arrived had all items except paper towels which was a huge disappointment. Okay called customer service to make them aware of the hiccup, paper towels were included in total order, charged to my card, but not with my other items. As usual, phone rang and rang but no answer. Finally, customer service answered next day. I explained about missing paper towels, gave order number and got no help. It was like talking to someone from outer space. Young lady said I had to prove I ordered the paper towels. I told her it was a drive up order, gave her my order number, and advised her that store could pull up my order as well. Got no where with customer service, asked to speak to manager, didn't happen, so stressed, had to hand phone to another to talk on my behalf. Still don't have paper towels I already paid for. Not only do they leave items off orders, they stuff a bunch of heavy items in one bag making it awkward to carry. Please check your bags before leaving this location and if you want to avoid a stressful drive up experience, shop Wheaton/Westfield mall location, much better. Target is still my go to store but not this particular location for drive up service.

Dimitri Ivanoff: It's about 1/3 in size of regular Target. Has a fresh produce & meats section, basic grocery items, cleaning supplies plus some clothing, beauty, electronics. Right now (April 2021) mostly serves on-line orders & curbside pickup. Parking is at the back of the store, but there's entrance from Georgia Avenue. Self service at this entrance almost empty while one at the back has waiting line. Pricewise it's inline with Giant, even some groceries could be cheaper.

Dorie Kane: This is a "mini Target" so keep in mind you can't expect it to have the inventory of the large stores. That said, I go there for essentials and typically find what I need (including hair care products which many have complained about). Staff - including security - are overall nice and helpful. Like another reviewer I did find they were unable to place an order for me - I needed a different size and wanted to apply the credit to an order. They have me a refund and I placed the order myself online. I guess there are some things smaller stores can't do but I do like this one for its convenience when it comes to basics.

Janice Temple: This Target Store is well-lit with wide aisles. I went there on a Sunday evening. Some of the shelves were empty from Saturday shoppers. I wanted to buy Figi Water but they were sold out. I am impressive by the organic selection of groceries. The parking was plentiful the day and time that I went.

SW: Neat small Target. However the security there is awful!!!! Everytime I’ve visited there is a security guard (man with National jersey) following me and whoever I visit the store with. I live in the area, so I frequent this store a lot. Mind you he is not clever with the following. He straight goes to whatever aisle I am in. This makes me not what to use this Target

Bryan Cortez: Don't understand the negative reviews? This is a smaller Target, of course you won't have everything you have at a regular Target - but it has all the essentials. Need milk? eggs? chicken? They have it. Need a spare shirt, or pair of pants? They have it. Need some airpods? Need a spare controller? Maybe you need shampoo, or medication? Target has it. They have all the essentials you need all in this store. Seriously, if you want to know if they have something before you come - use the Target app, it'll be your best friend on each Target Run. This store was definitely needed in the area! Prices are very fair, compared to other retailers nearby. Very clean, organized ---- and the best part are the employees - Very helpful!

Bre'Anna Scott: Pushy and profiling security... scolds children who's parents are in plain sight. Unprofessional and aggressive in their approach.

dontec H.: I was just in my neighborhood store to purchase Goodfellow t-shirts. My preferred size wasn't available. I went to guest relations for assistance. She called over a Manager for assistance. I asked if he knew when the t-shirts would be back in stock. He said the store didn't do the ordering. The company sends over inventory based on their sales, etc. . He said one pack would be sent over in L in a few days. I needed medium. I asked if the Store Manager was in store. He let me know the Clothing Manager was on duty. The clothing manager came over and I explained my need for a medium size. He went to check the shelf. He returned to let me know that the item wasn't on the shelf and is a high theft item. He then said he doesn't know when they'd be coming. He was talking to me very loudly to the point that other customers could hear our conversation. I asked him when the Store Manager would be returning. I let him know that he was speaking to me in an elevated tone and I was standing in front of him. He then said that he was the store manager. Target has employees that lie and render poor customer service to paying shoppers.

Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store: what do users think?

Reanna Rousseau: I have to say very disrespectful management at this location. The staff was lovely and helpful but the short light skin women manager with the face piercings, with her mask underneath her nose gave me the worst experience I have ever had at goodwill. Her regional needs to have her replaced ASAP. You can’t make your own rules at your store that’s not in policy. You can get fired for things like that and she must be reported. This is a store where they take free items and mark them up for “Goodwill” to sell to the people in the community who can’t afford the regular priced items. If you are over pricing the item you are basically doing a disservice to the community.

Lea Sumlin: On. April 30. A beautiful morning. I decided to donate things, I don't need. My family and I went to the South Dakota location. When we got there, a light skin colored girl with glasses as the manager was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL We did not get a Good Morning. She WAS VERY UNPLEASANT with her Approach. "We're not open yet, did you hear me and we line up over here. I never opened my mouth but after her unprofessional way of speaking. I ask, " do you WORK here. "Am the manager". She is NOT MANAGER PROFESSIONAL. We left. I Googled Salvation Army on Kenilworth Ave. They were open and VERY PROFESSIONAL AS WELL. THANKS SALVATION ARMY. We were very happy when we got there and after we left.💯❤️❤️❤️.

Zh Ie: Purchased online from this location. The staff was amazing on checking the condition of the item after purchase, and as an added service on their end, they sent a few extra close-ups even after I had purchased, which was not necessary, but so appreciated that they thought to do that. Above and beyond service, and extremely customer-service oriented.

Andrew Patricio: Bizarre. Don't bother going here to donate anything except kitchen stuff or toys, (except baby toys they won't take). On the website it says they take clothes, furniture, etc and they used to but no longer for some reason. Any even toys they won't take anything "a baby can sit in". Ie no bounce toys, push bike etc. Wasted my time twice in a row. Never again. Just go down the road to salvation army or even better, the value village thrift store.

Kim Barr: I found some lovely things there the staff was very helpful and definitely check out the colors of the week sales. I was able to get a 15.99 suit for 3.99 because of the colors of the week sale.

Team World: Caĺled them numerous times over several weeks for pick up of lots of veey good clothes and furniture. I am leaving the country. They never called back.- couldnt be bothered apparently. SHAME on you, Goodwilll, aren't you supposed to serve the disenfranchised????

Janice Burrell: Called and asked if they accept books. The guy told me they did. When I got there the guy told me they were at their capacity for books. It was more like he didn't want to do the work to check them in. Every time I go there it is always a problem. They should tell you these things when you call. Since they don't I can only conclude that it's just a lazy employee. Extremely poor customer service.

solomon asefaw: I am writing this review to let Goodwill undermines its gools when it doesn't follow up its workers at the receiving and dropping gate of this location. Today at around 3:35pm when I came to donate, I was harassed by one Of the stuff at the gate. Goodwill should place professional stuff at the dropp of gate before it too late.

Franklin Owens III: I was there for clothing… but I can never pick out clothing in a thrift store, so I left with books. The store was well organized though. I tend to be a bit uncomfortable buying items out of thrift stores. I didn’t care much for the clothes. But there were other items in the home section were really nice. Everyone was nice in the thrift store. Even when I gathered a cart full of books and then realized I couldn’t use my clothing voucher on books😬😅

bluslushii: Been to multiple Goodwills, the staff was by far the most helpful and I honestly received the best customer service I did at any business. Definitely will be returning! Thank you so much ladies for being so kind and helpful!

Walmart Supercenter: what do users think?

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. Pooooooooooor customer service specialty from the manager

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart Supercenter offers a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and other optional food and items to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. This location offers a free underground parking garage.

Nsoseh Quistoran: I went there to pick some stuff for myself. Good prizing and amazing products. Recommended to go shopping 🛒🛒

Will Kidd: I'm from Michigan this is my first time being to a Walmart set up like this and it was great basement parking and the crazy thing the escalator for your shopping cart that's wow 😲

Brittany Jeffries: It's crowded, there are never enough lines, and the place is heavily disorganized. But when you need stuff late night, it's nice to have around. I shop around 8-10pm with fewer issues. No access to customer service, but the customer service is iffy at best during the day anyway. Excellent craft and party sections.

K A: Easy, convenient and affordable shopping. I really enjoyed shopping at this particular Walmart location. It’s big, organized and well stocked. They have different sections such as the pharmacy, bike shop, auto care, money center, entertainment and household items section to mention a few. Express Self Checkout✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Entrance✅ ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Parking 🅿️ Adequate Parking Space ✅ Shopping Cart Conveyor ✅ 🚻Restroom ♿️Wheelchair Accessible Restroom

taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? Please consider getting some kind employees for self checkout. 04/25/22 6:00 pm

Vinyl Remains: what do users think?

Nick G: Greg at Vinyl Remains was a pleasure to deal with. In 2022 customer service is almost non-existent. I dealt with Greg through Discogs and the whole transaction was great. Outstanding communication! I highly suggest doing business with Vinyl Remains. Album arrived in mint condition as described, and packaged well! Finding out they are in PA was a plus. I can’t wait to stop by the shop! Thank you Greg for everything!
Response: ✌️

Lucifer Morningstar: I brought some records, Marantz 2265 reciver, & a turn table to get looked at & to possibly sell. They gave me such a low ball offer, it was just sad. This store is very very small & their "skills" are limited. I wanted to do business, i like the people! However it was such a disappointment...

Jessica Grieco: I was searching for a certain record, and while I didn’t find it here, I am so glad I stopped in. The shop is small, but full of quality, unique, and interesting records. I found a really cool gift that I doubt I would have found any where else. The gentleman in the store was also very nice and very helpful, made me feel welcome and helped me figure out where I could find what I was looking for. I would recommend stopping by if you want to treasure hunt amongst the vinyl! This store is a real gem.

Erik Gorski: Excellent store!!!! Has a great selection of vinyl!!!! Definitely a must!!!!

YS: Awesome record store! Owner was awesome. Talked to him about both our times in New York City years back before moving to Pittsburgh. Great selection of records and cool vintage electronics.

Michelle Saliba: Wow Greg! You are the man ! Thank you so much for helping me I walked in there not knowing what I was looking for , he was so helpful and a knowledgeable he took the time out to make sure I was picking the right records for my sisters birthday present . Even thought he had other customers waiting I appreciate you so much I can’t wait to gift these records and everything else to her ! And Greg is super cool if your looking for a down to earth place to go this is it , Hands down !

Robert Sneed: Amazing shop, Greg is the man ! Highly recommend visiting !

Jon Martin: Greg (The Owner) is super friendly will always point you in the right direction. This is my Local haunt the shop is small but it always has a great selection. Greg is very knowledgeable.

Colton Banks: Pretty good little record store with a cool owner with a wide variety of music genres to look though, they also stock a little collection of VHS tapes

Grant: First time visiting this shop. Seemed pretty good. Nice selection of used records. Good staff.
