Wharf Parking Garage 1 - Blair Alley Entrance: what do users think?
Kev- keepingitreal
Kev- keepingitreal: Great place and a very convenient parking garage when going to The Wharf. Parking fees and parking time at garage entrance #1, range from time 0-24 Hours All Day. Parking prices start at ($2 for seafood orders if you get your parking pass stamped) and the other parking fees are based on the amount of time your vehicle stayed in the parking garage. Garage parking fees starts at $5, $10, $25, $35, and up to $45 max. The height restrictions for vehicles are 7’-8” tall.
C. Young
C. Young: Took me 20 minutes to find parking. Light indicators don’t work properly. Paid $27 for about 2.5 hours. Conveniently located.
mastercoolisnumber1
mastercoolisnumber1: We entered, and the machine never gave us a ticket. Whenever we asked, they said the parking was free. We stayed for an hour, and was supposed to pay $5. We told them the machine never gave us a ticket, but they insisted we pay the “lost ticket” fee of $38, even though the machine never gave us a ticket. The guy named Addis and his coworker would not let us out until we pay $38, even though we told them to check the cameras, and they never checked them. The machine was broken, but they put the blame on us. Horrible customer service. We asked Addis if we could talk to his manager, but he refused to show us where his manager was. They wanted us to pay $38 because their machine that they’re supposed to fix was broken.
Hacking Gamer
Hacking Gamer: Zero stars. Too expensive and the employees were rude. Their machine never gave me a ticket and I asked them why. They said it was free. I came back to exit but the gate never opened. I explained the situation to them. They said I was lying and told me it’s a lost ticket. Their terrible policy says that if you lose a ticket you pay the maximum rate aka 38 dollars. I said it is their fault but they again accused me of lying again. There were cameras but they never used them. I asked for their boss but they refused. I ended up paying and put this review to limit their costumers. Will never visit again.
Winfred Mitchell
Winfred Mitchell: Very large parking area. $20.00 for the first two hours is outrageous!
Mike A
Mike A: 2017: Well, the entrance was clearly marked 😀, there were green lights overhead of vacant spots 😀, it was well lit, well ventilated and clean 😀. The best part was the attendant at the self-pay station. He was guiding the patrons on the use of the pay machine - smiling all the way. He asked me for my ticket, put it into his machine, gave it back to me and said "your $10 charge is now $2". WOW! 😀😀😀. Thanks.
Elmond Taylor
Elmond Taylor: Safe and clean. Close. Far too expensive though.

Matthew Henderson
Matthew Henderson: Wish we had more time for the amount we paid. The parking was decent.
Chirag Patel
Chirag Patel: Great parking lot to visit all the monuments.
Rahul Panchal
Rahul Panchal: One star is only because this place is mostly closed and not accessible for parking, so if you are around in that area and looking to park then look for street parking like on Ohio drive SW and also street around tidal basin.
Tony Kelley
Tony Kelley: Such a beautiful place. And one of the best monuments to shoot from anywhere in town.
Christopher Herlong
Christopher Herlong: Plentiful parking for a reasonable cost that is a great starting point for seeing all of the main monuments and memorials.
Tim Alfermann
Tim Alfermann: Great proximity to walking the mall. 3 hr parking only but can renew continuously. plenty of space right in the middle of what you want to see
Ghaida Alshabnan
Ghaida Alshabnan: Use metro on weekends and especially during cherry blossom fest.
B Henderson

Colonial Car Parking Lot: what do users think?
Alexander Montano
Alexander Montano: An absolutely horrible experience. Waited upwards of 30 minutes for my car. It is clear that the employees have little to no clue of what’s going on. They are not interested in delivering cars on time. Poorly organized. No sense of urgency. Complete lack of respect for the customer who paid outrageous prices to park in their garage. I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT PARK HERE.
Wayne Liu
Wayne Liu: Most horrible valet parking experience ever. They killed my battery and blamed me for mechanical problem. I spend over an hour just standing there, waiting them to bring over a car , so I can jump my car by MYSELF. They said they did me a favor to let me jumped my car! What hell. Do not park your here!!!!!
Daniel Day
Daniel Day: Horrible experience. Make sure you know the address to this one. The ticket tells you nothing but a number. We walked to memorials and then navigated back only to be taken to the wrong one three times. First guy got an attitude with menand said my car wasnt here. Come to find out... It was (gasp)
Gospel Bearer
Gospel Bearer: Really expensive... no problems with them though. Attendants were polite.
Brian Holm-Hansen
Brian Holm-Hansen: Very convenient location and friendly staff.

SP+ Parking: what do users think?
Brian Tate
Brian Tate: PSA FOR HOLIDAY TRAVELERS! We came for holiday weekend, and we were not warned about limited hours for retrieving our car — even after specifically asking an attendant when dropping the car off. We walked into the facility to get our car on the morning of out departure, found no staff on site, and the doors locked behind us, trapping us in the garage!!! We called the after hours number for emergency help, and got a voice mail message saying they would get back to us next business day. Eventually someone came along, but no one ever responded to our call.
Chloe Zimmerman
Chloe Zimmerman: Clean, intuitive garage just a few blocks from the White House. We parked here ahead of our West Wing tour on a Sunday (when many garages in DC are closed) and paid $11 for the day. The guy who assisted us was very friendly and cheerful and helped us find a spot very near the elevators, which dropped us off in the Washington Square mall, just around the corner from Farragut North Metro. Convenient, reasonable price, not at all dark or sketchy. Very happy.
Tony Tubiolo
Tony Tubiolo: Good weekend parking garage - about the only one in the area that is open on Sunday! We drove our small car, but could have easily fit our minivan into the large parking spaces it has. It was only $11 for all day parking on Sunday. The garage is open until midnight. It was self-park, and I did not have to give my keys to a parking attendant, so I knew it could not be moved or damaged by a parking attendant. Perfect experience.
Brittany Penn
Brittany Penn: Lied to about price. Boyfriend and I came here for a over night trip. Got there around 1030 AM on a Saturday and we stayed at CQ Hotel (who has a special price with the parking garage). So I told the man that and he tells my boyfriend he’d charge us 11$ for the day and then 11$ Sunday if we left at 7AM. that worked perfectly since we planned to leave that early. We just went to leave and the same man told my boyfriend he’d have to pay the FULL 31$ to leave because his boss wouldn’t let him do the deal he promised us. So we paid a grand total of 42$ for parking there for not even 24 hours.
Christine V.
Christine V.: Cheap and efficient. I love the text to pick up service.
Tucker Patterson
Tucker Patterson: Not a good parking garage and very tight spaces.
Andrew Holub
Andrew Holub: The employees are slow, rude and disrespectful.

The Stevens-Marrone Family
The Stevens-Marrone Family: We believe our card was compromised on July 4th at this location via the phone payment system. Our bank initially rejected the payment and I wish we hadn’t approved it. It’s now being used in Vegas. I can’t find company info to report, but I would avoid until potential breach is addressed.
Viola Mccalla
Viola Mccalla: Very convenient to park and access the Circulator bus for touring and visiting all the historic places; wonderful , knowledgeable and professional drivers.
Jacob Kizer
Jacob Kizer: Close to the museums and 18 for all day parking.
Pettey
Pettey: Super easy to use. I liked the phone number instead of the ticket system. Very safe environment.

Colonial Parking: what do users think?
Carly McIntyre
Carly McIntyre: Save your money! I purchased a monthly pass, waited over the 24 hour period after getting approved to call and inquire about where to pick my pass up. I was told it would be ready in a day or two and the man from the company would call me when it was ready. I called back four days later (didnt recieve any calls) and asked when I could pick it up. Again was told it still wasnt ready and I would receive a call when it will be. Now over two weeks later I get a call from the man asking rudely why I never came to pick up my pass and then blamed it on me saying he sent an email (which he never did--checked inbox, junk, and deleted)....Needless to say, I paid way too much for parking and the company is terrible at communicating and are scammers
Chloe Musick
Chloe Musick: I cannot rave enough about Colonial Parking. It is a short walk (maybe 20 minutes) from Capitol Hill. The parking for the whole day is affordable and the lot is easy to get in to. It was so difficult to find parking in this part of DC, so this place was a lifesaver! The attendant was very nice too.
Robert Ziegenfus
Robert Ziegenfus: Easy in and out. Reasonable prices for the area.
D Barnes
D Barnes: Good access

L. B.
L. B.: Parking garage is clean and nice. Easy to book through spot hero. But Warning! You come up through the elevator to the lobby of the One Freedom Plaza building. Beware, they won’t let you back in! We got back and there was no one at the front desk, we tried calling on the wall and they said they’d get ahold of the desk but still no one came. We waited for 15 minutes before we walked around the block to the vehicle entrance, and had to walk down the ramp (dangerous with small kids!) and get into the elevator next to the parking kiosks to go to our parking level.
Jason Brynarsky
Jason Brynarsky: Their parking garage is awful. It’s narrow and can barely handle two lanes of traffic. And you can’t always take the elevator you used to leave the garage to get back to your car because the ground floor lobby doors lock after a certain time. Nothing against the staff. They are making the best of a bad situation.
Nicole Edworthy
Nicole Edworthy: Terrible. Self-parking, turns that SUVs seem scared to use, back-ups and pay machines on P1 (and at the exit, i.e. 20-30 min after you get to your car!) and $32+ for any time over 4hr. There are lots of options, best to find somewhere else or take the metro.
Eric Hillman
Eric Hillman: Great.clean parking decent weekend price.
Mike Sutton
Mike Sutton: I have parked at this location for years. Today, I discovered -- after parking on the "green" level that I could use the stairs to exit to the street. However, when you return to your vehicle you CANNOT use the stairs. You are directed to walk down the entry/exit ramps! What moron thought this was a good idea, especially for people with disabilities? I wonder how long that policy will/would last if a customer was struck by an vehicle entering/leaving. Today was the last time Quikpark, Inc. will see any of my business!
Epper Marshall
Epper Marshall: Very narrow garage. There is no direct connect up to the national theatre and no good way to get in to your car late at night. Also getting out took quite a while, not a very efficient system.
Murilo Ribeiro
Murilo Ribeiro: Good location. Decent price on weekends.
Mary Auld
Mary Auld: This is the worst garage ever—25 mi items to enter and 45 to exit. Terrible never go there

Courtney Davis
Courtney Davis: I have been parking here for years, No problems whatsoever. But today, 9:50am, It was packed, they were sending people to P4. I have nevered parked in P4 before...Didnt know I was suppose to go all the way down. Saw an attendant in P3, an indian man with grey hair. Pulled in, roll my window down to ask questions. Just to be screamed at about not parking there like I ran over his foot or something. Once I screamed back and stated I was not familiar with this level...i dont know where to go he calmed down but still...if I screamed at a customer like that Id be fired. Its called customer service, clearly citycenter does not teach that.
Randon Ryland
Randon Ryland: Make sure you use your EVgo app to get through the gate, you don’t have to pay, you hey 2 hours free remember :)
Andy Zavala
Andy Zavala: Great, CLEAN parking garage in the middle of DC! This garage is open 24/7 and is super reliable, lit, and most importantly CLEAN! One of the elevators leads right to the middle of city center which is so pretty. The elevators are also full-glass walls. Would recommend to park here if you are staying at a nearby hotel (such as the Renaissance).
Drachen Fire
Drachen Fire: Easy to access, well lit, and clean. Had no issues whatsoever. Ended up reserving a spot using Parking Panda, pulled right up to the gate, scanned the confirmation QR code, and the gate opened right up. The garage even had numbers next to all the aisles saying how many open spot there was left in the row. The glass elevator that lead to the outside was pretty neat too
Jessica O
Jessica O: EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED with their customer service!! I applied for monthly parking and asked that it start the same day but they still made me pay $19 for the few hours I was in that day, even though I had already started paying for monthly parking that same day! The manager that was on duty clearly does not understand customer service and that making customers happy is important.
Isabelle Ku
Isabelle Ku: Reserved a spot through SpotHero. Very modern garage with lots of spaces, lights above the spaces, and electrical charging stations (Teslas have their own section). The public parking section is on P2, with resident parking on lower levels. It was very well lit for a garage, also easy to spot from the road and cheaper than other places in the area. Only bad thing was it was a bit difficult to find the way to the exit. Would probably park here again.

Dr. Hashim El-Tinay: A great morning or evening walk in nature.
Nu S
Nu S: Lovely National monument, park, and wildflowers, salamanders, and birds. Bring water, I did not check the restroom situation but there appears to be some on the grounds. Expect a mixture of dirt paths and elevated paths to preserve the marsh. There is a lot of water so mosquitoes will be harsh in the spring and summer. A wonderful way to spend the day and it’s safe to go alone as there are many persons during the day.
Andie Franco
Andie Franco: Talk about a hidden gem! I’ve been living in the DC area for so long and never knew that this place existed until recently. I would recommend that when visiting bring comfortable shoes because he will be walking for a while. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the neighborhood they have some cool spots to take pictures of the monument.

Zin Thin
Zin Thin: No one was there for us to retrieve our key at 0750. The hours stated 0700. We tried to call the numbers, but no one picked up. This is ridiculous. Please dont park there!!
Adrian Buga
Adrian Buga: Bad experience..the garage was supposed to open at 8 am on Saturday..but at 08 50 no one was there.Called the number displayed on the door and no answer, no voice mail and a blunt good bye..the same happened when I called the number on the website..lousy service.I wonder if the guys compensate customers for being super late at the airport.I doubt..
Nicholas Swoboda
Nicholas Swoboda: We were told to park and that we wouldn’t be refunded despite having about 1/4” clearance at the beginning. The stalls are small and at weird angles, there isn’t enough room for 2 way traffic despite 1 way in and 1 way out, and despite being told we could pick up our car before 9 am, the garage was locked at 7:30 and the posted number that was supposed to be for opening the garage told us that they couldn’t do anything. And the parking attendants move the cars around, despite never asking you permission to drive your vehicle or posting this policy anywhere. If you do end up parking here, make sure to take picture of your vehicle all over, numerous cars has scratches that looked suspiciously like they were new
Mike Snyder
Mike Snyder: Very accommodating. Online booking is a game-changer. But get in early if you want a spot! They can get full!

Lakin Engman
Lakin Engman: Just like the other reviews mention, do not use SpotHero to reserve your parking here. I ended up paying $55.85 in parking due to the fact this garage didn’t recognize SpotHero’s QR code. I was presented with a $15 charge (already paid $14.85 to SpotHero prior) when attempting to exit the garage. I paid the $15 and the garage door and arm didn’t open. I scanned it again and was presented with an additional $26 fee. Paid this fee and was finally able to leave. The parking attendant left his shift early so the only person who could help us enter the garage at 11:50pm was the kind man who was working at the Safeway parking garage across the street. I do not recommend parking here for The Anthem concerts.
Patrick Correa
Patrick Correa: The rudest parking attendant I have ever met. He yelled at me for being slow to pick up my car even though he failed to mention there are two separate P2 parking areas. In addition the SpotHero app doesn’t work and I have to repeat myself 5 times for him to get the right ID number. Also it’s stupid to close at midnight when it essentially acts as overflow parking for the Wharf. Also on weekends that ramp is steep and I tripped walking down it - that should be marked as some kind of hazard.
Alice W. Lee
Alice W. Lee: After seeing the show at Arena Stage, we discovered that the station had no way for us to get out without exact change (cash) because everything there was broken. The attendant directed us to the "attendant station" which he knew was unattended, because he was the one who needed to charge our credit card. Cars had to back up out of line, since no sign was given that the gate was unable to take the parking tickets. After we paid, the attendant STILL questioned us several times at the gate if we had paid their fare, even though we showed him the charge receipt that he had given us 5 minutes ago. It took more than half an hour of wandering around that stupid garage before we could get out. Horrible incompetence and service.
Zoe Read
Zoe Read: The attendant was extremely unkind and yelled at me when I did not understand what he had said and could not find the exit. The parking garage itself was okay, but if you have to interact with the parking attendant because you prepaid, I would not suggest going here.
John Ryan
John Ryan: $15 for less than 1 hour parking. No prices posted anywhere in the garage so we had no idea we were being robbed until it was too late.
Tori S
Tori S: Will never park here again, the attendant yelled at me to re-read my parking reservation # from SpotHero. Extremely rude and unnecessary to yell at a woman like this.
Cheryl Payne
Cheryl Payne: Did not know area at all so finding this parking garage even with GPS not easy. Had to go around and ask person for help
Lisa Rose
Lisa Rose: Attendant was rude and screamed at us when his machine broke down.
