Sincerely Breakfast: what do users think?

Lindsey Stiles: We grabbed Sincerely Breakfast on our way down to the National Mall and holy moly. It was amazing! They also have a few great gluten-free items. Would highly recommend!
Response: So glad you enjoyed your food Lindsey! :) Yay for Gluten-Free!

Marcelus Wilkinson: This place has absolutely fire food!! The biscuit was soft and didn’t cake up in your mouth, the fried chicken had a crispy, well-seasoned batter, the eggs were moist and flavorful. Top notch! They don’t use that cheap paper bacon, it has a well balanced thickness and was cooked to perfection! The oatmeal was sensational and would be a joy for anybody who enjoys sweetness and freshness with their breakfast! Don’t miss it, it’s an underground kitchen right beside another jumping restaurant, and I am so glad I broke their hosts hearts by asking where the Sincerely Breakfast’s entry was!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review Marcelus! :) We're so glad you were able to find us and try the biscuit, bacon, and eggs! #biscuit #oatmeal Hope to see you again :D

jude beck: Ordered the strawberry cheesecake french toast 3 times now. Overnight oats come out pretty quick for a breakfast bite in the morning. Kiosk order.
Response: Glad you enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast Jude! :) #Kiosk

Paul G: Awesome place hidden in DC’s dupont circle! Great people working and a really fun and ever expanding menu!
Response: Thank you for the review Paul! :) Happy to serve Dupont with tasty food!

Ashley: The food was delicious and the service was great at this small kiosk style restaurant. I would definitely return.
Response: Thank you for your review Ashley! We're so glad you enjoyed the food <3 :) Hope to see you again!

Chloe Memoir: The crab-avocado biscuit is absolutely fantastic! Listen, I was a little disappointed because it wasn’t a full blown restaurant- their concept is more “GRAB & GO” but despite all that I just had to leave a review because I WILL BE BACK! That biscuit remind me of Red Lobster- but only THIS ONE IS BETTER! Omg. I also had the French Toast which was delightful on its own as well- I just wasn’t expecting that biscuit to be that good!!
Response: A pleasure to serve you Chloe! :) #JumboBiscuit

Davaish Singh: incredibly salty food, esp the chicken biscuit bfast sandwich (the chicken was awful and just reheated hockey puck) and also dry burrito. the potatoes and bacon are good sides. also no utensils or condiments or anything was given when asked

John Armstrong: The breakfast biscuit is delicious and buttery, a big portion, and a great price for DC! Takeout only ghost kitchen set up.
Response: Glad you enjoyed the biscuit John! :^)

Raynell Tillman: These folx can breakfast! If you know you know and if you don’t get breakfast there and find out! Breakfast burritos and overnight oats there are fiyah!
Response: Thank you Raynell! So gald you enjoyed your breakfast burrito and Overnight Oats! The girls who get it, get it ;)

Josh Gordon: This food is unbelievable. I have ordered 3 times in the last 2 weeks and can't wait for another biscuit!
Response: Thank you Josh! :) #biscuit

Panera Bread: what do users think?

Emilie K: Did rapid pick up and everything was perfect! Food was delicious and everything was packed so nicely. Enough utensils and napkins. Thanks for great service! Had a great picnic at the mall.

Brian (BriGuy71): I’m staying near this Panera and been there 3 times. Their new Baja Chicken Bowl is great! The order process inside is easy with the new kiosks. They always got my order perfect and the employees are always super nice saying ‘hello’ each time I walk in the door.

Ugur Govdetasan: They close 9 pm, but they didn't let us sit it was 8 pm, i have been going panera almost everyday. I am not going anymore. !! Thank you making my day worst !!!

K. Antonio Wright: It's decent 4 what it was worth or 4 all I went 4 pretty much. Ain't nothin 2 write home 2 mama about! How da young lady which was workin da front counter went in da restroom & sprayed yes I know after a bowel movements sum r a lil funky but she went in directly behind but failed 2 do da same thing in da 2nd restroom they have & yup it made me feel sum kind of way Like how rude & mind u she was standin rite outside da door when I came out so yeah I felt like she did it on purpose. Sorry not sorry but I've gotta live in #MyTruth

J. R.: 5* all the way! Delicious and good quality food! The store is clean. The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful! Keep up the good work!!

Glo Hern: Crowded due to the lunch crowd. I had to wait for a long time to receive my order. The restaurant needs extra employees up front and back cooks preparing the orders.

Ren Jax: True to form, Panera takes care of its patrons. I mentioned my soup was not filled to the brim, as I expected it to be for dining in, and immediately, without any kind of comment or fuss, they went to serve me another small cup that was filled to a satisfactory level. The staff were attentive and inquired to all if there was anything they could do to help their experience to be better.(Even those individuals who looked like they didnt necessarily belong there anymore...staff was courteous, and professional) The points reward program has its benefits. And I love how it works nationally. I think the program could go further in rewarding those customers who visit and are not from the area or even the region. But, wherever it is, I've always found the food to be, across the board, the same style and quality. Delicious!

Frankie Painter: I continue to be disappointed in Panera. I used to love it but since the pandemic, almost every location I go to is disappointing. I keep trying them because I have the free daily coffee and hoping I’ll find one somewhere that makes my trip worth it. Unfortunately this location was no different - one counter worker and multiple people waiting, coffee at the self-serve was lukewarm, and all of the cream containers were empty. Ugh…

Nora: I love broccoli and cheddar cheese soup it’s delicious and recently I tried their sandwich and I liked the turkey sandwich but I added cheese as extra topping it wasn’t included also all the smoothies are AMAZING like really amazing I love the green one and strawberry and banana smoothie so good... I would really recommend what I tried

Merlin Williams: Let's start with the customer service. The lady that took my order at the counter was very friendly. She was ready to give a recommendation, but I had already decided by the time I got to the front of the line. They give you a little buzzer and then you go wait at your table. The delivery is prompt and less than 5 minutes. The kale salad was delicious. My major criticism with Kale salads are that they are generally dry, unless doused with a lot of dressing. This salad was quite the opposite. It was had the right amount of dressing was on point. The Asiago steak sandwich wasn't as memorable as the salad. It wasn't bad; it just wasn't easy flavorful as I expected. The Green Passion Smoothie hit the spot. I don't know if the ingredients are fresh, but it tasted fresh. Especially the mango in the smoothie tasted was the perfect combo to go with the greens. The chips were as expected. I enjoyed the meal! The highlights were the smoothie and the salad!! Btw, you can charge your cell phone, tablet, or computer while you eat. There are plenty of available outlets.

Corner Bakery: what do users think?

Calvin Bryant: We we were trapped in DC because of the snow storm Jan 2022. We needed food and a place to escape from the Hilton capital hill for breakfast. Upon discovering Corner Bakery we found both. Great food, service and warm friendly atmosphere. Broccoli Cheddar soup saved the day!

Brian Hammer: This place was close to our hotel so convenient for some breakfast. A good variety of dishes and a great hazelnut coffee. I can also recommend their overnight oats with fruit. Very fair prices for washington dc.

Ukvayat Hanak: I am from rural America and this place was the closest to the prices I enjoy in the Midwest. The flavor was perfect and I will surely be seeking out a Corner Bakery the next time I am exploring DC. I felt more at home by sitting and enjoying breakfast here.

Alileiro: The food was cold. Eggs and bacon don't taste good when it's cold. The place wasn't very busy and staff was very helpful and friendly too!

Brett Daviau: Great place for a quick bite. Everyone comes here. Always a line out the door and a pile of bikes outside. Plan on wain the morning.

Athanasios Chantis: We had to wait 45 min to get our order. After the first 30 min of waiting I went to find out what is going on, only to realize that they had forgotten about it. We had ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese (not even toasted), oatmeal, scrambled eggs with bacon and latte coffee. Instead, they brought us a bagel with sesame seeds and butter, scrambled WITHOUT bacon, and NO latte. They said they could not give us a plain bagel because they were frozen! How do you call yourself a BAKERY when you serve prepacked frozen bagels?! I had to go back to o remind them that according to what is in my receipt I ordered a latte. The quality of the food and the way it looked was like a $0.99 breakfast you can get in some places. Only we paid 30x that. In fact, I'm sure that other than the latte, they bought this stuff for that amount from a place like 711, warmed it up and served there. Avoid, avoid, avoid! I'd rather have no breakfast than have it there. The word "bakery" in the name of the place is deceptive. I'm pretty sure NOTHING is actually baked there. They serve prepacked frozen food.

Daniel Sheffer: Strange location in DC. Closes early at 3. Low staff I guess it’s the times but ordering a simple sandwich was a challenge , lady didn’t know I just wanted a full sandwich not the half combo. I said ok fine give me the soup too , we don’t have soup. Bizarre experience. Needs better Management.

Jason Alipio: My wife and I are visiting DC and decided to try breakfast here. I was shocked by how bland everything was. I had to douse everything in Tabasco, salt, and pepper to give it some flavor. The onions weren't grilled, so they added a very harsh taste to the potatoes. On a positive note, the coffee was delicious.
Response: Jason We are very sorry to hear this and we'd like to learn more so our Guest Relations team may follow up with you on this issue. Would you please visit http://bit.ly/2odGMuG and complete the form located there? Thank you!

Brandyce Hill: Great looking menu but food was cold! I got the Breakfast power bowl which has eggs and when i tasted them, they were cold. I thought no big deal because it's with salad which is cold. But my husband got the pancake combo with bacon and EVERYTHING WAS COLD. He refused to take it back. Good flavors but won't be coming back.

Tamry McCauley: There are certain foods that feel like home whenever I travel... if I can find a Corner Bakery restaurant to grab some soup or a chicken pomadoro sandwich, I'm good. The soup is rich and creamy and even after walking 2 blocks it was still steaming hot when I got back to my hotel. It's a refreshing break from eating in a hotel, and the short walk was just right...this location is busy, but they got our food out pretty quickly... There are some changes with the drinks and seating area due to covid, so you may want to take that into consideration.

Nerds & Nibblers: what do users think?

Mike: Had an excellent lunch here with a client while I was in town for business. The space was clean and bright and the food was awesome with hefty portions. My client says he comes here often and I could tell that they have a lot of regulars (which is a great sign of the quality). Great time here and definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch!

Cory Roper: We ordered pancakes and it was great. The 2 cakes, eggs and sausage were all straight off the grill hot and indoor seating was not crowded on a weekday.

Emmanuel Chan: We loved this place so much we ate here 3 times during our stay. Great place to have breakfast. Service was quick. The 2 guys getting the orders were friendly. The girl at the counter could smile a little more, but she does get a lot busy preparing drinks and receiving the payment of the customers.

Stephen Severino: I like this place. The food is great - fresh and good quality if not a bit overpriced. Today, though, when I asked for my receipt I noticed that I had been charged for a soda that I did not buy and a $5.00 miscellaneous fee. While this could have been a simple mistake, it seems more likely that it is happening often...

Edgar Lopez: My absolutely favorite Breakfast and Lunch spot in Downtown DC. The crew her are the sweetest and nicest people you will ever meet. I tend to get the Bagel Lox and they make the best in DC all around. I give this place the highest recommendation if your in DC.

Erin Frazee: This was my go-to spot for breakfast and lunch while my office was in the neighborhood. They have wonderful healthy options and wonderful comfort foods options. The owner and staff are friendly and remember regulars. I’m so glad they’re still up and running—definitely check them out if you’re nearby.

Marybeth Harasz: This is an average restaurant with a good relaxed vibe. Nothing really special about the food, but good whole foods. I was disappointed that eat-in food was not served on real dishes. A lot of throw away packaging. And the large cappucino is about a quart so think twice before ordering that size.

Ja Baited (venomstand): The food is not only good for you (I'm fairly certain almost everything is actually fresh) but also extremely tasty. Personally, every MWF i order either a burrito with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and other goodies, or I get a curry chicken sandwich, depending on lunch or breakfast time. Haven't explored the other stuff yet but that's because I extremely enjoy the same stuff everytime. Their coffee (I get a large caramel mocha). The staff is extremely friendly, and try their best to cater your every need in your order. Not trying to be funny or racist, but the Asian lady is omega friendly, always asks how my day is going and almost like a 2nd mom. Anyways, if you're in the area and want a non fast paced environment, this is the place. Very reasonably priced as well.

Crystal “Crys” Wainwright: Nice place to grab breakfast and a coffee. I had the egg & turkey sausage sandwich. Simple but good. It has a nice seating area. I'll have to come back for lunch one day.

La Isla Network: Great breakfast sandwiches, nice staff, solid lunches, fast, and I love the boss lady. She’s great. If my kombucha blows up(it’s a thing), she’s quick to replace it and always happy to see her customers.

Panera Bread: what do users think?

Ronald Díaz: I would avoid this Panera at all cost. Customer service is not existent ... Apparently we were bothering the person (Nav) taking the order as it seemed as if she was about to leave the store. Made an unpleasant comment and her demeanor wasnt pleasant at all. My pregnant wife had to go to the bathroom and she was told that she had to wait because the other was "reserved" for employees only. She couldn't wait any longer so we went back to the same unpleasant employee who after checking with her supervisor "allowed" her to go in. The ABSOLUTE WORST service ever received at a PB. Stay away from this one and if Nav is your cashier GOOD LUCK with that ...

Jessica Martin: Should try to pay a bit more attention to the food they make. My smoothie had multiple chunks of ice in it. And I’ve gotten other mixed up orders too from here, unfortunately.

Daveed Binne: It was good. It was just the annoying stalkers pestering me around while I'm trying to eat.

Buddha Fortune: Everything was amazing and refreshing, great menu selection. Fresh veggies 5/5

Monica Roman: I ordered a steak arugula sandwich with no onions (allergies.) When I opened it at my desk, lo and behold it had onions. So I walked back over and asked for a redo (I can't just pick the onions off because it would make me very sick) the lady at the register was extraordinarily gracious about it. The kitchen... A disaster, after messing it up twice again, they give me what you see in the picture. Not up to standards and the wrong bread!!! I'll eat it cause I'm hungry and they made me wait my whole lunch time. But I'm not happy. Must note that after the sandwich went back a second time my money was refunded. Front of the house gets an A+, kitchen failed miserably.

K. Antonio Wright: Drink wasn't what I expected it 2 b if left an awful taste in my mouth I felt like I wasted my money next time I just grab a water.

Dan Hagedorn: Ordered a large catering order for my apt building resident breakfast and couldn’t have been happier! Ordering was a breeze and pickup was just as convenient. Friendly employees and I even received a follow up call later that day to see how it all went. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Thanks

Thomas Smith: Tracy is a new wonderful pleasant worker. I hope you keep her on staff, very friendly and a wonderful smile. Thank you Ms Postell

Jonathan Etheridge: Great and clean during these times. Highly fast and sufficient. So busy sometimes that some items may be unavailable. Overall, great customer experience across the board. Go check out Ms. Teresa and friends at the L St. Panera (next to Lafayette Center)

Devyani Parkar - Richa Talauliker: Mediterranean and Baja warm meal bowls were good.

Corner Bakery: what do users think?

Swastika Nohara: Nice Cafe with good selection of pastries and egg for breakfast and lunch. We had ham sandwiches and omellette that comes with bread and a cup of fresh fruit. Loved it! Cinnamon roll is also good. The Coffee is just average. But for warm breakfast we are happy!

Sahar Bayounis: I ordered the half chicken sandwich with a side of tomato soup. It was so good! I also recommend the sweet crisps. They’re really addictive. I just didn’t like the attitude of the cashier lady, she was rude and unwelcoming unfortunately.

Marcy: Pricy. But the food is good. I got a full sandwich with a cup of soup as a $2.99 add on with a small coffee and everything cost $17.68. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is right next to marshals where we bought a charger. There are a few seats next to wall outlets to recharge. Perfect place to eat and charge your phone.

Heather Wing: Staff shortages and limited menu as of April 2022. Food was decent, but when we visited (Saturday noon), half the fountain drinks were out, no coffee beverages were available. Ordered 2 salads and one was great (see pic), another (Caesar) was pretty bad. Brownie was a frozen brick, and half the dining area was closed. Both trash cans overflowing. My kids liked their food, my meal was good, but I would not return anytime soon.

Mandi Mouser: Great place to eat while trying to warm up!! Sandwiches, soups, salads, and delicious bake goods. Every staff member that we encountered was 10/10! The cashier lady was very warming to my son who is shy and indecisive. She helped us figure out what was the best choice. The food was amazing!!!!!!!!! Would definitely eat here again. ***Plus side…very very close to the White House***

Lezlea Loves Real Estate: While staying at the Willard, we stopped by for a quick breakfast a couple of times. It was "good enough" and didn't cost $20 each. I liked it more than my husband did. The fruit and bagels were fresh. The staff was friendly and it is a very popular place at certain times of day.

Michelle Dombrowski: I wanted to express my gratitude & appreciation for an employee at this Corner Bakery location. The employee is Melinda T. As my family & I visited DC for 7 days for a family vacation, we stayed at the Willard Hotel (which is across the street from Corner Bakery). We frequented this Corner Bakery for breakfast and met Melinda among our travels. It was Melinda’s charming personality that kept us wanting to come back to dine in. Not only is she so sweet & friendly, Melinda is also so damn hilarious. We couldn’t get enough of her humor. Corner Bakery is lucky to have an employee like Melinda because she makes customers feel so welcome, like we were eating at home. Thank you so much, Melinda, for your welcoming hospitality. You are the best & we hope to see you the next time we visit DC. Your friends from Michigan, the Dombrowski family 😉

Drewe Zanki: Good sandwich. Great coffee. Super nice staff.

Karen Zachary: The staff literally yelled at one another. One cashier had her kid there. It’s completely unclear where to go for espresso drinks. You can’t read the menu until you’ve walked in a line line and are standing at the cashiers.

Sam Bonson: Ordering through this bakery was my worst experience when visiting this city. I asked the cashier lady to help me out with my order as it was my first time in this bakery. And I only got the same answer multiple times: if you’re not ready to order then leave the line. I didn’t know that you cannot get the menu nor ask for it or ask for what is available. The menu was on the wall but too far for me to read. I guess it was a very bad day for that lady. Nonetheless I would not advise any tourist to go there. There are many other options around.

Corner Bakery: what do users think?

Hilda Kroll: I usually start my day when I'm in DC with hot chocolate, but today I couldn't resist something from the bakery too. The chocolate chip cookie was great, but next time I've got to get a mini chocolate Bundt. The staff is especially nice and prices are very reasonable.

Donovan McKenzie: If you want dry food and feel completely unwelcomed by the staff, this is the place for you! The couple of times I have visited this location, I was met by rude employees with little to no customer service. I'm not asking for a red carpet, but at least care enough that I am someone who is looking to grab lunch, not the attitude. You can keep that.

Pablo Parada: The staff doesn't really care of the customers. When we got there, they were chatting between them and they made eye contact with us and nothing, no even like "hey, what can I get for you?" And when I talked to them to ask for my order, they were like "ohh what do you want?" With some attitude. Then I noticed that the manager was playing with one of the girls in a very unprofessional way, touching each other like they were kids. Not cool at all!

Cory Laws: Corner Bakery is a favorite, though it's been quite awhile. I was happy to see one across the street from our hotel. Good food fast. We had the farmers and Anaheim scrambles. I usually don't cook with salt, so it was a rare pleasure to get unseasoned eggs. A nice treat.
Response: Cory Thank you so much for writing in to let us know! We’re so glad we were able to provide you with great service! We love it when you stop by!

Stephanie Ratajczak: Wonderful crew, delicious food. They have shortened hours because covid, but it's a great weekday lunch spot!
Response: Thank you for the excellent Google review. We are so happy you enjoyed your recent visit to our cafe in Washington. Don’t forget, you can cater your next event with all your Corner Bakery favorites!

Clayton Russell: The employees here are simply above and beyond on their customer service. Yes, the food is good and the selection is fantastic (you can get everything from perfectly baked snacks to a full plate breakfast special) , but where Corner Bakery really shines is its people. They treat you like family here and really care about the quality of their product and service. It is much appreciated by this customer and I’ll certainly be returning again and again because of this!
Response: Clayton, thank you so much for writing in to let us know about our wonderful employees! We’re so glad we were able to provide you with great service! We love it when you stop by!

Lisa Heilbronn: Bagel and coffee were fine, service seemed a bit disjointed but they were trying hard.

Luis Garza: Expectations were disappointed. Limited menu, not a problem. Prices and service are adequate. Quality of food and portions were substandard to what you see in the pictures and people’s reviews. I found a small fruit fly buried under my salad but because I ate outside couldn’t tell if it came like that or landed in there from being outside. Didn’t bother to investigate to be honest.
Response: Thank you very much for letting us know and I am very sorry for your poor experience. In order for our Guest Relations team to follow up with you directly, please visit http://bit.ly/2odGMuG and fill out the feedback form. Thank you!

DAMIAN PERLA: Great tasting food, very spacious, amd very friendly staff!

Briana Provost: Lunches here are quick and the food is ok. Good in you are in a hurry, but the portions are a little small for what you pay.
Response: Briana, thanks for the great rating and feedback! Are you part of our eClub? If not, you can join here : https://www.cornerbakerycafe.com/eclub. We send great offers throughout the month.

Panera Bread: what do users think?

Tommy Devine: Service was friendly, and the lively atmosphere is nice, but the line to place an order was slow, and the food took forever to come out. I got a couple sides of mac and cheese and that was it, yet it took probably 15-20 minutes to come out. I ordered to go, so it was only once I got back home that I came to discover that the mac and cheese that I waited for was not even the full serving. The larger side was roughly only 2-3 full, while the smaller cup was probably 3/4 full. It tasted great, but the hassle overall wasn't worth it.

Emmalynn “Big Gurl Lady E” Sharf: The amount for any other Panera I been too is very reasonable. For two bagels, brownie, and a fountain drink was pretty steep here at this Panera. For all of that I paid I should have went to wawa and got a better more delicious meal then here.

kikiblue90: Manager named ATA was my cashier. Didn't understand I had a reward so I ended up paying more than I should have for my meal. Didn't hand me my cup and I saw another customer had the same issue. At some point the cash registers were empty. Later on while I was sitting he waived at the security guard over who was on break "Are you on break? I need you to kick them out". Waiving over to some kids sitting. Felt sorry for the guy. Clearly rude management and poor employee treatment. At least the security guard told me "have a good day". My sandwich was also incorrectly made. Avoid this Panera location.

Paul Newman: Slowest Panera location I’ve ever been to. Their order pickup system is so unorganized. I’m now convinced that making my own lunch is best for me. Shame.

AidanZ10: Went with my girlfriend, they got our orders wrong and charged us both extra. I give them 1 star and :( Would not recommend unless you like to pay $3.70 extra.

Mia K Arakaki: Update start loss: my fiance and I paid for a small drink each. The manager came to my table to tell me that it was a water cup only without even checking to see if we paid. We are both well dressed black medical professionals im a travel nurse my fiance is a resident. Im 7.5 months pregnant and we are both black. I have never felt so profiled in my life... Especially because again we were the only black people there... In our own neighborhood. I actually thought she was going to ask me how my food I inquired why a 1/2 filled cup was served. I also dont appreciate all my food in a bag and in take out gear when others had more food. I will never go back here. Apparently there is flatware... But there is there. If you are looking for a leisurely study spot with ceramic wear and a fireplace and some service this is not your place. Its filled with undergrads and high schoolers. Paper bowls and not a lot of outlets for the space. I also miss the gluten free cookies Also there was no hazelnut...when it was filled no one let me know after i requested... Then no almond milk... No one is paying attention maybe too many young folk work there idk.

Julian Bateman: DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! Just don't do it. Trust yourself - it's not a good idea to order delivery from Panera. You will likely NOT get any food, and you want food, right? (Edit after some food was finally delivered) Ordered delivery twice. Both times was assured by a driver that thee food was on the way - that there was traffic and they were running late. Both times the driver never showed, and stopped responding. Both times I waited over two hours. Both times I ended up having to call the corporate number for a refund, and was run through the hold/questions ringer. The second time (current) I still have yet to be refunded, despite ordering over two hours ago now! Remember - Panera DOES NOT actually deliver! I'll believe it when the food actually has been delivered even once! EDIT: Two and half hours later (excuse was "Zoolights" this time), and we got half of our food! Of the 7 things we ordered, three were missing - two soups and a mac and cheese (but a rouge piece of bread from the soup was floating around in the bag - my guess is someone else complained and they gave my soup away earlier on the route). At least we have this wholly inedible "sandwich" to eat... Oh, and I live less than a mile and a half away!!!

Jay ONeal: Service is good and there’s a lot of seating. The only drawback is, you need a code for the door, and they don’t tell you that when you have an option to receive a receipt or not.

Da Boss: Somehow they managed to mess up my order twice over the course of 5 min then messed up my girlfriends order as well. Incompetent

Tony Jansen: Cashier had difficulties putting in numbers. Scone had orange peel in it. Coffee was great but didn't taste as good because of the experience.. Do better please. Thank you.

Corner Bakery: what do users think?

Millicent Stokes: I wish I could give Corner Bakery on K St 0 stars. I went there today for my lunch break and ordered the shrimp scampi. I was given a number and then sat and waited for my food. I watched as the staff brought everyone their food as their numbers came up yet when my food was ready I did not receive the same service. It's quite disheartening to be in a restaurant and you're the only one being treated differently. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know that great customer service comes with stipulations with this establishment.

jon garner: We ate here two days in a row and remembered my daughter's order from the day before. Friendly staff and restaurant. Great coffee and my daughter loves the strawberry Lemonjade. Next time we are in the area we will stop again.

Adriana Figueiredo: The picture of the plate is well different from the one I got. The apron of the waitress that brought the food was very dirt. The food is so-so

Jason Morris: Nice place, good food, staff not the friendliest (lot of grunts and hand motions). Despite all that I would still come back here and eat and I do recommend.
Response: Jason, we are sorry to hear this and we'd like to learn more so our Guest Relations team may follow up with you on this issue. Would you please visit http://bit.ly/2odGMuG and complete the form located there? Thank you!

Kayode Yussuf: Lovely meal and tasty soup. Enjoyed every bit of it
Response: Thank you so much for writing in to let us know! We’re so glad we were able to provide you with great service! We love it when you stop by!

Judith George: Some of the buttermilk pancakes I've ever eaten. . . And I've eaten a lot. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of good choices for breakfast.

Jakey Low: Food and ambience here are ideal for a quick bite. They have pretty delicious sandwiches here for sure. Atmosphere : 4/5 Food : 4/5 Drinks : 4/5 Price. : 4/5 Service : 4/5
Response: Jakey Low - Thanks for the rating and review of our service, sandwiches and prices.

Ryan Malloy: Food was not the best. There are a lot better places nearby for breakfast or lunch.

Tou Mama: They ran out of bacon who runs out of bacon? The service was so slow we didn't even get out our drinks for over 30 min and it was so crowded we were on top of everyone. Do not reccomend.

sugandha agarwal: We went there on a hot summer morning in July. We were a mixed group of adults and kids and all of us were vegetarian. Ordered all that was veg- the wrap, the pancakes and bagels. While the food was good ( the wrap was nice and we added avocado) the service could do with some improvement. Our order was for veg pancakes and initially our plates had bacon, on being reminded by the server the cooks were trying to scrape the bacon off. I was watching at the counter and asked for them to redo the pancakes as we are vegetarian and wouldn't eat the pancakes that had been in touch with the bacon. They didn't seem apologetic instead were not happy to do it all over again but grudgingly did it. I continued to stand by the counter even though the lady told me they could bring it to our table as I didn't want any such thing happening. Another's customer had a similar altercation which had the cook walk out and confront him. Seems like the employees here are stressed and can do with a cool head. The food was good, pancakes were huge and filling, almost 2 adults and 1 kid can share those pancakes!

Panera Bread: what do users think?

Zena Zena: My cashier/hostess made my experience great. Panera Bread's muffin and pastry are good. I call it my pill to feel good 😊. So when I go to Washington Hospital Center for any reason. I have to stop by and get my medicine 🤣.

Edosa Regea: The customer service ,the don't respect customer. Even the don't follow instructions when ordering the food. I order Chipotle chicken avocado. Extra avocados No chiken and also side bread but those who work in kitchen never read instructions .this happens more than for time. Why don't read instructions?

effie jennings: Price to high ($10.02) for a frozen drink, that didn't taste that great and a tasteless grilled cheese sandwich that wasn't even brown on both sides. How do you not fix a good grilled cheese sandwich?

Sassy Sauce: The food is consistently good and the wait is generally short. There is always friendly service and the orders are prepared relatively quickly. A few of my personal favorites are the lemon drop cookies, broccoli cheddar soup, and the paninis are great too.

nickkie tenderoni: They're breakfast wraps supposed to go have scrambled eggs but in reality it's a flat circle supposed to be egg that looks like a pancake and was burnt around the sides how do you burn eggs? Wouldn't have ordered it false advertising and misleading and wasn't worth the money

Karen Parker: Wait time was minimal. The quality of service was excellent. The sandwiches were not what I expected. A little dry and a lot of bread. I ordered the steak and white cheese for myself, I was however informed that there were no pickles. The "New" Mac& Cheese for my daughter did not meet her expectations. Thanks Panera!!!

narissa mcravin: I always frequent Panera whenever i have my appointments. Today, i did my rapid pick up like normal. When i got home (after an hour in traffic), i go to enjoy my sandwich and...its not the sandwich i ordered. There are ham and swiss labels on the sandwich, but the sandwich is turkey or chicken, and doesnt have any of the toppings i was supposed to receive on my sandwich. Two stars because my soup was still hot. I will be contacting management after this review.

Cherise Brown: Can you see it? Cheese is an important component on pizza. Only modification was extra tomato. My chicken is stained red which indicates it was under a tomato yet no tomato ontop. Where is the bacon you ask? Me too. And the chipotle drizzle? Probably on vacation? The weekend crew is just that, the weak end. Constantly out of items and usually better in the morning. But its 24hours so beggers and choosers right? Usually I am impressed with the iced coffee in the am.

balinda CUNNINGHAM: I got two bad salads on 2 different times when I told the female manager had bad attitude I will not be buying salads from Panera. I had to go there because I have a lot of appointments.

Kiffa Shirley: A 24 hour Panera, you just need to be at the hospital in order to take advantage of it. Multiple kiosks to order, and friendly staff. It can get busy but its a great option for people while visiting the hospital.

Bread & Chocolate: what do users think?

Marion NYC: Nice selection for breakfast and/or brunch. The staff was very friendly. The place is clean. The food was good. This place gets very busy. Come early. Tons of outdoor space but only when it’s warm enough. Definitely check this place out! I recommend this place for a meal.

Debra Borromeo: My family and I are visiting DC and were looking for a place for 7 of us to have breakfast. The staff here was very friendly and went out of their way to quickly put together seating for us. I ordered the avocado toast and it was the best avocado toast I’ve ever had - crisp bread, ripe avocados and perfectly cooked eggs. I would definitely return.

Voldemort aka Rockstar: D-D-D-Delicious, OMG 😱 5/5⭐️ Foamy Coffee, Rich on Salmon eggs Benedict, Ham&Cheese crepes with yummy mustard sauce, and of course DESERTS 🤤 (I’m not a food photographer 😅, but trust me it’s so good) Recommend it 100% 👍🏻

Timothy Sawwah: We had a breakfast. Loved the food. The portions can be a bit bigger, but overall it was a good experience. Try the chocolate banana crepes!!!
Response: Thank you so much Timothy for the 5 stars ! We are happy you had a great experience with us ! We look forward to having you back very soon !

Rod CeFu: Decent food at best. French toast was good. Don't order the falafel. Never had such small pieces that were so dried out. Throw in pita with some hummus and that was $15. Had better omelets at diners. Orange juice is definitely not fresh. Service was great though.

Liz Garner: This was the best meal I've had since I've been in Washington DC for a week. I got coffee and a saucer and cup not in a big mug or paper cup I got a great meal of Norwegian salmon bagels tomatoes capers onion spinach and mimosa all for $25. Great atmosphere I love it. I would post a picture but I forgot my phone

Jenna A.: 11/2021: First, I'll share that the staff is super friendly here! I ordered a large latte and the french onion soup. I give it three stars because I didn't find anything special about the food. It took a long time to get our order (my friend got quiche) which we thought wouldn't take long. Some menu items they don't make anymore and it was pricey for the soup (came in a small bowl). I'd would come back for sure, but will mostly come for coffee, a quick pastry and the friendly atmosphere. Update: After the comment and visiting more for coffee, this place has a wonderful staff. Their genuine delight made me change my review from 3 to 4 stars. I appreciate a friendly atmosphere in such a large city.
Response: Jenna , first and foremost , thank you for the kind words and support , we will definitely look into it immediately and fix this problem ! Can't wait to have you back ! The Bread and Chocolate Team !

Mark Frank: This place is underneath the Kaiser medical building and was delicious. They had food but I asked if I could just get a coffee and pastry and they said of course! The prices were reasonable (about $3 for coffee and $3 for muffin), the workers were super friendly and the space was really nice and calm.

Tanisha Hendrix: The atmosphere is amazing with a cozy feel and lots of outdoor seating. Be patient, as they were very busy. But, they managed to still make our trip expedient and excellent. We ordered the eggs Benedict, cinnamon roll, and turkey egg and cheese sandwich and it was all exceptionally delicious!

Tristan Moody: Stood at the host stand for 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged by any staff to seat us until we flagged someone down. Sat at the table for 20 minutes without ever being visited by a server. We left hungry after a neighboring table told us it took 40 minutes to get their food. Even the to go case was thinly stocked. Wasn't going to miss timed tickets to the Smithsonian for that. The server who saw us leave was very apologetic, but I wouldn't recommend coming here until they get their act together better.
Response: Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Tristan . We are terribly sorry for our service during your visit. Thanks again and we hope you can give us another chance.

IHOP: what do users think?

Levnon: Decent American restaurant. The pancakes and French toast were okay. The bacon was crispy, the scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy. The coffee was ok but nothing special. The service was very slow because there was only one waitress serving, maybe that's because of the holidays. Overall, this is a decent place with reasonable prices.

Zay McCullough, MSW, LCSW-A: Imagine it’s 2-3am and you’re hungry.. Where do you go? DoorDash! It took me a solid 30-45 mins and searching through reviews. I was going to get pizza at a couple different places but the reviews were either bad or nonexistent. I eventually got a pancakes craving and IHOP it was! I ordered at 3:10am via DoorDash. I got 2 blueberry pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. It was a little over $15. My food Arrived around 3:45am, which wasn’t bad. It was sooner than estimated delivery time, which I was happy about. The packaging was great! They put the blueberry compost and the whip cream in bowls versus on the pancakes. The food container had layers! I hadn’t seen this before. They had the eggs, bacon, and hash browns at the bottom and then the pancakes ok what looks a plastic top. Then another top was over the pancakes! While eating, quickly came to conclusion that the bacon wasn’t crispy enough for my liking. While they bagged syrup for my pancakes, they didn’t put any salt and pepper for my scrambled eggs or ketchup for my hash browns. My hash browns was shaped rectangularly and tasted decent without ketchup. I did end up adding some syrup but it wasn’t anything like having ketchup. My pancakes were delicious!!!! While there were blueberries in the pancakes, I think it was the blueberry compost that really make it outstanding! I tasted the whip cream but didn’t use it. It wasn’t very sweet. I honestly got full after eating the first pancake, but I couldn’t leave any evidence for my son, who was sleeping lol. This take out/delivery experience was really good. I enjoyed the food. Besides not having some condiments, I had no complaints. Thanks IHOP for satisfying my late night hunger!

Mark West: Some people refer to IHOP as I-slop but this IHOP had very high quality service and very good food and presentation. Sanitation and cleanliness were very good. Good prices too

John Rowly: Waitress was very sweet. Food was good. Fam and I will be back

Valerie Aleman: The food was great no complaints there! But the service really messed up our experience. The waitress was zooming everywhere. There was no introduction and she told US that she was gonna bring us coffees and left….we didn’t want coffee! She didn’t give us a chance to order. Then she comes back and when we tell her that she said - well now I wasted a whole batch of coffee. We felt rushed when eating our food, yet we stayed here longer than we needed too because she stopped coming by. We missed a showtime for a movie we were going to see.

Austen O: My order has some issues (T-Mobile code redeeming). Vinnicia (server) was fantastic, friendly, and patient. I was able to get my food in quick time (~10 minutes). Pancakes were fluffy, and the chicken strips were crispy. Seating is physically distant.

Nils Hünerfürst: Super heavy Pancakes and the Omelette are also very heavy but that is what you want when you eat at IHOP.

Anthony Stewart: The food was actually good, however, the restaurant was filthy. Boxes were strewn all over the place, there were wadded up napkins on the floor randomly, the table across from me had a folded napkin literally propping it up... who does that? BUT, Ms SONYA the server was phenomenal! Two of these three stars belong to her!

B G: Awful experience, waitress came to the table twice, the first time was 20 mins after being seated, the second was when we stood up to leave after talking with the manager about our experience. The restaurant was not crowded and the only reason I believe we got our food was because we kept looking around at other tables being served and cleared and I asked another server if they could check on our order.

Cynthia Bonner-Wood: The floors were filthy with food thrown all over it. Tables were sticky. A very short waitress that worked there was beyond disrespectful when interacting with customers. Food is subpar, the pancakes taste like grit and very cold where as butter couldn't even melt on them. The bacon was burnt and tasteless. Very Horrible restaurant.

Italian Kitchen: what do users think?

Kara Cheever: This place was so good. We got take out and brought back to our Airbnb. The calzones are huge and delicious, especially the spicy meatball. Kids got their own small pizzas and they were great. Excellent dough and lots of toppings. The people working were so nice. Great place for take out or delivery. They have a few tables if you want to eat there.

lainol Icaza: So I order from here already 4 times first time it was good. Second time they burn the pizza I didn’t want to complain on here so I called them and just tell them if they can please do not burn the pizza because it didn’t taste how usually test so I go head and order a 3 time and the pork or whatever is it they didn’t cook well so not to go long me and my wife had the worst pain in the belly and i look at the rest of the pizza and I found out they didn’t cook the pork well. And if u tell them to cook it well they burn the pizza not sure wit what intention they do but if they can’t cook a pizza please take it out of u menu. I don’t usually write this review but I gave them 4 chances and the last is the pic that u see but never ordering from u guys hope u guys had inspection because my box have black marks that were stink if u put u nose close to it. I would never try again from this place maybe others. Have different experience but I don’t appreciate you guys making my belly hurt for a uncook pork

Optimus Prime: I ordered a Lasagna tonight and when I tell you the smell of it made me not even want to wait until I got home. The aroma had me opening it as I was walking to catch my train. I took ONE fork full and I was completely utterly in love! I'm coming back tomorrow, I've already made up my mind! ❤❤❤

CHANCETHEBEST: The smell was very discomforting. The food was good just hard to stand the smell of the restaurant and I would hate to see the kitchen.

Tommaso Campanella: Wrong Pizza,As always when you order 30 minutes before the closing time, all the pizza are wrong! when I realized it was too late, because you guys are closed already! And the dough is like a chewuegum..

ABIR: Pizza by the slice was actually surprisingly fresh and tasty. I’ll go as far to say that it may be the best pizza slice on U St.

Daniel McDonald: With limited Italian delivery, this is not the worst choice you'll make all week. The lasagna isn't half bad. The meatballs, however, are not good.

Anna Kesaris: Amazing food, always delicious and easily the best Pizza in the DMV

Sahil Jam: Great place to grab a bite after heavy partying. Good service and between all the bars. Make it your final spot.

Maricel Bornilla: Best Pizza ever in the DMV. Reasonbale price and you get a hight quality ingredients . You can taste the freshness in all of its ingredients. Definitely, i will go back again every week.

Tony's Breakfast: what do users think?

Bluroc Obama: Ordered 2 breakfast platters for ~15$. Food was great. Pancakes were fluffy and buttered, sausage patties were perfectly cooked, French toast was soft and full. The eggs could’ve been fluffier (vs. fried hard) , but were good nonetheless. Food was ready 10min after order on a Saturday night. Definitely going back!!!

Julian Fishov: Love this place, been coming here for years and it seeems like everytime they are updating something or renovating things to bake the place better. Last time I was there they upgraded their chalkboard menu that was hard to read to tv screens which is really easy to read and will organized. This is great take out place, it's usually busy, nowhere to really sit. Food here is delicious, never been disappointed. Love that they offer gizzards and mumbo sauce, just ask. Very friendly staff.

Jonathan Murphy: When I did live in DC, I would love to go to this place for breakfast but I went to the new Tony's Breakfast on the corner but this is what I got when I went home and ate some chicken. I gave three stars only because I know that they have good food but they just need to wear hair nets correctly at this new location.

Andrew Theiss: Best tasting and most affordable breakfast sandwiches in area. But they don’t have jalapeños! Please add jalapeños. Better than any breakfast sandwich place I ever found in NYC, Boston, or Dallas.

Isaiah Becton: Only place I know with Turkey Scrapple..Love their breakfast Sandwiches..I would prefer more of an Authentic Sweet Tea but their Triple Mixes are crack.Good wedges and good wings withe good mumbo sauce'

Clifford Washington: I been dining ate this place forever and have never been disappointed... they make some of the best breakfast 🥪 in D.C. hands down 💯

Edward Holloway (NuVizion): Definatly one of the go to spots in DC for some great breakfast! This place feels "home-ly" , so expected to be treated like family..... Like you live and go there most days

LaTasha Young: The food is good but the service could use some improvement. I called to place an order and a woman answered the phone. She immediately put the phone down and said “somebody needs to get this because I’m going on break”. No one ever came back to the phone so I hung up and had to walk in to place my order.

Mike Wash: The Asian lady was rude my pancakes was covered with hot oatmeal witch made it wet then when I asked for a different pancakes she gets mad and tell me that's how it is. Never again. Real bad service and presentation of food was real bad. Pancakes all wet. Been going here for a year now but now I'll be taking my money across the street .real rude lady never again

Paul Askew: The services is fantasy employees are always very respectful to all customer especially to senior citizens the food is fantasy taste great. I hope they will stay in the community for very long time.

Atrium Cafe: what do users think?

LP: Cute little spot that has sandwiches salads and basic convenience store items. Staff is friendly. Super inexpensive breakfast sandwiches I will be a regular for but the “roasted” veggie sandwich I got today was just spinach avocado, fresh mozz and tomato and honey mustard dressing. Tasty but not exactly roasted veggies.

Jose Jiménez: Amazing food for a good price! Montecristo Sandwich is delicious!! Hardly recommended!

Daniel Mehmedovich: Great little cafe spot. The food is good and has a little Korean twist to it doesnt take long to make either. But it's really my go to for coffee. Simple but rich in flavor.

Kay Ng: They open pretty early for breakfast! They are pretty fast and I found the employees to be efficient and friendly. I saw they sell a few asian drinks such as Milkis and Oi Ocha. They also sell Dalgona Candy from Squid Game. I got their breakfast platter and appreciated that they had an area for utensils and condiments. It was enough to keep my stomach happy while working in the morning. Haven’t tried their lunch yet, but will stop by again!

A J: Service was not nice or helpful and quite the language barrier. Sandwich was good.

Mark Gorman: I've been going to Atrium Cafe for sandwiches for several years. The people are always pleasant, the food is consistently good. The prices are competitive. If you're hungry, it's a good place to go. Five stars for meeting, and sometimes beating, expectations!
Response: We really appreciate your review.

Chris Lundquist: The food here is decent but they NEED to come up with a better system for taking orders. Whenever there's even a slight rush of customers, the staff often end up mixing up orders and giving customers the wrong orders entirely. I've even seen orders get entirely forgotten and have had frustrated customers need to wait in line twice as long for it to be remade. It's not that hard to have someone writing things down, I just wish they could fix that part of their system because the food is great when you don't run into issues.
Response: Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. We will discuss to find better system to minimize any mistake in the future.

Jameela Ayoub: The food is delicious and it's really nice to see them cook the food right in front of you. I've loved everything that I've ordered there, and I recommend everything!

新世界Learning: I went today to get a sandwich my mother recommended me because it was delicious. Its custom made, By no means breakfast. I asked the lady to make she kept responding she couldnt make it because it was breakfast. She finally said she would and she would charge it as breakfast. And didnt cook the eggs as I wanted them , scrambled. Bad service. I'm willing to eat there but to refuse to make sandwiches as per costumer request sure gives me sour experience. Dont think I'll go back there . Such shame . My mother went there couple times and never had issue ordering the same sandwich . First time I go and inexperience that .
Response: You forced our staff to make breakfast sandwich during lunch hour and are complaining about quality. Amazing! Did you see the breakfast hours on breakfast menu? Did you see we were cooking seasoned grilled chicken on the grill and didn't know why we stop serving egg sandwiches after the hours? Grilled chicken taste seasoned egg sandwich? Your mom will be proud of you. Happy thanksgiving.

Austin Graff: Atrium Cafe is the person you are dating who keeps on sending mixed signals. Here's how I felt led on by Atrium Cafe: - I wanted something quick, but good for breakfast in downtown DC. As I walked by I and 13th St NW, Atrium Cafe was full of people. A line is a good sign, right? -Then I looked Atrium Cafe up on Yelp- 3 stars. Hmmm... -As I walked in, the coffee smelled good and the sizzling ham on the open grill looked like it was the making of the best breakfast sandwich in the city. The croissant they put it on was large. Did I stumble upon a hidden gem? -I went to pay and my total for a ham, cheese, and egg breakfast sandwich and a medium coffee came to just under $9. Seems expensive. -Then I went to sip the coffee. It was decent. It isn't third wave coffee, but alas. It's caffeine. The sandwich looks promising, but tasted a little bland. I'm still processing my experience and all the mixed messages Atrium Cafe sent me. Who are they really? Age has taught me to not mess around with mixed signals. I'll move on to La Colombe down the road for my breakfast and quality coffee.

HomeSlyce - D.C.: what do users think?

Tray Schaeffer: Quirky, fun and good! ! Came in for the first time and spied the 16in pie and bottle of red wine special. So, I had to try it. From the shop rag napkins to the video games and wall sized chalkboard, this place is not short on character. But you come to a place like this for the food, and they don't disappoint. The pizza is thin style, crispy on the outside but just thick enough to have a tender interior. Seems that most of the business is take out which is a shame because the staff are so welcoming and fun. If you are in the Georgetown area, stop in and have a Slyce ... you won't regret it.
Response: Thanks so much, Tray!

Dean Rumsey: Wonderful fresh food! The pizzas and calzones were fabulous but the surprise was the salads and appetizers. All were full of flavor and generously portioned. Desserts were great as well. Fun, informal ambiance. Would definitely recommend.
Response: Thank you so much, Dean!

Topaz San Felipe: The given time is right on. The Pizza is great! Staff is wonderful. Brownies are Not worth it 😕 The cannolis are not bad (once you get past the pistachios, which were bitter) Walking distance from Hilton Harden Inn (with pizza still hot)

Rebecca Larson: The guy who served us is the same employee who served us the last time we ate here months ago. It is good to see the same friendly face and to be given the same awesome service. My husband and I ate outdoors since the weather was fine, but the indoor seating was also plentiful. As usual, the pizza was so delicious! I have enjoyed every Slyce style that I have had and so have my husband and other family members who have come here with us in the past. Highly recommend!
Response: Rebecca, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad you enjoyed your most recent experience with us. Our staff is the best :) We hope to see you back in soon, to try even more of the Slyce!

Theresa Slaughter: First time here and this is my official hang out for food and music. I had the wings and they were off the hook. My kids had the pizza and my daughters (while eating) lookedi like they were in Heaven. The celery with my wings was better then I have ever had! Good music, good food, amazing atmosphere, and vibe. Come and check them out when you are in DC. Ask for Keith and tell him Tracey sent you. They also have Happy Hour.

Brad Brundage: Can you eat just the pizza crust without any ranch from here? Yes, the crust has good flavor on its own. Overall the pizza was pretty good and for most people would probably really love it. I'm always in search for a perfect 10 Pizza so that is very difficult to find places that can consistently perform to my expectations yet I am giving a solid four out of five stars as it is in my opinion definitely a 8 out of 10. One thing I would change is eating directly at the restaurant instead of having it delivered and would have requested for the pizza to be cooked slightly longer if tonight's Pizza was cooked within their defined temperature and timings. A Margarita Pizza was ordered from here as it is one of the best tests to determine if a pizzeria uses both quality ingredients as well as proper execution of cooking and presentation. Ingredients: surprisingly I'd say there was a bit too much cheese for the ratio of all the ingredients Execution of cooking: The tomatoes and sauce did not pool from too much moisture and water, usually from the tomatoes used and preparation of the tomatoes which is good. The pizza although was fully cooked probably could have used a little bit more time in the oven or should have removed the pizza screen slightly earlier to allow direct contact with the cooking service to cook the bottom slightly more. Presentation: the pizza looked very appetizing and the ingredients were equally distributed showing that time and Care was taken well making the pizza.
Response: Brad, wow! We appreciate a man who takes his pizza seriously! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review.

Nathan Trzaskoma: The steak pizza is otherworldly. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. So glad I stopped by here during my weekend visit. 10/10 would recommend
Response: Nathan, thank you for taking the time to leave a review- we appreciate it! The steak pizza IS otherworldly- make sure to try our Steak Sandwich as well- its just as good! Hope to see you back in soon

Elad Tam: Everything we ordered was delicious! Every type of pizza was amazing We ordered plain, artichoke and the homeslyce and nothing left. The atmosphere was great, and the service was very helpful. Thanks and we will back again for sure!
Response: Elad, Thanks for the great review! So glad you enjoyed the pizza, and we hope to see you back soon :-)

Christopher: Typically we don't complain about pizza, because even semi-bad pizza can be OK. But the $20 pizza we got from HomeSlyce wasn't pizza. It was a burnt piece of dough with a couple of strands of cheese mixed in. And it wasn't even a normal size pizza, definitely smaller than a typically sized pizza. If we weren't staying at a hotel with a lack of food options we would have thrown the pizza in the trash and ordered from elsewhere.
Response: Christopher, we’re so sorry you had this experience and thank you for your feedback. We will be using this information to make sure our staff is all trained to our standards. This is definitely not a normal experience with us.

Tina: Accidentally stumbled upon this place (because the restaurant we first went to was too busy but we're so glad!!!). Food was excellent, staff is super friendly and they had video games going....what more can you ask for. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be back next time we're in town.
Response: Thanks so much, Tina!

Panera Bread: what do users think?

Ana: The manager was very generous to me and my family. We ordered vegetables soup on 4/7/22. However, when I arrived at our hotel with the food, it was onion soup. I didn't like. This morning (4/17) I went back to Panera and made my complaints. The manager gave us vegetables soup. Not only that, He went above and beyond. When I ordered breakfast wrap, pizza and drinks. He said it was on him. And gave us 3 chocolate cookies. Thank you, I think his name is Phillip for your generosity and kindness.

Abdallah Kabbani: Seriously?? I’ve seen more meat in lollipops. Miserable looking sandwich with a miserable quantity of anything.

Vaughn Miller: Kind and speedy service but they have recently struggled to maintain their equipment. Coffee machines down for multiple days. Struggles to maintain certain foods (i.e. no yogurt parfait).

Bhagyashree Panda: Quick and hassle-free service. More customized options. Great deals. Tasty food and drinks at an affordable price.

Heleen Raes: Relatively fast and super friendly service, the shop is also very clean. Because of its popularity it does run out of ingredients quite soon, making some salads and sandwiches unavailable.

Stephan Watkins: Very casual place to eat, kitchen is also very clean and well organized which is always a Plus (but it's inside a university so you cannot access the location without a university pass)

Zaphockey TM: They require masks inside and we could not get in, and there are no near food places to walk to.

Noah Zwiefel: Didn’t get food here but would be a little worried about getting food poisoning, because their water from the soda fountain smells ROTTEN. I think they need to change the filter because it legitimately smells like rancid mold. I would avoid ice or any of the drinks.

Nizar Farsakh: Their coffee is better than Starbucks that's why I came here. Their chocolate croissant was average, a bit dry. Their bread was fresh, which is what you would expect, but their vegetable soup was way too salty. What is really convenient is the iPad for ordering and then just picking up. Processing was very smooth and easy which is convenient when you're in a rush and just need to grab something.

MJ: Probably my favorite place for lunch at GW! I have to give them credit— if I order online, my food is always ready when I get there, even if there’s a line out the door with the lunch rush. I get a customized sandwich (chipotle chicken with no chicken and veggies added) and they rarely mess it up. Once someone took my order before I arrived and they remade it for me without a hassle. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it’s so expensive. It’s pricier than the Paneras in my hometown, and my typical order is always $12 (with no drink), which is high for lunch. But it’s consistent and good, so I still recommend. The staff is always really friendly.

Sticky Fingers Diner: what do users think?

Alyssa Miron: I get overwhelmed when I find a vegan place with this many amazing options. The chick’n tenders were so good paired with a salad, and I took home some tofu “egg salad”. I’ll be back for a Buffalo chick’n wrap and all the pastries. This place is a gem!!! Very attentive service too.
Response: Thank you, Alyssa!

Stacey Maresco: Loved the atmosphere of this place! Definite diner vibes — but 100% vegan food! We ordered a salad, the Mac & cheese and the crazy bones brownie (which was also GF). We liked the food and service was so so. Only thing that would have made this better was more attentive servers. Vibe was great (so was the dessert!)

Larry “Big Schlim” Mcleod: There’s this new’ish Vegan spot on H street in N.E. D.C. The moment I heard about it, I made plans to go!! I went, they have REALLY tasty food, & I ate well. MY experience however…left me feeling unwelcome & slighted (see my customer service segment). . Where I am: @stickyfingersdiner . Location Reviewed: 406 H St., N.E. Washington D.C. . Menu Includes: All Day Breakfast; French Toast, Pancakes, Potatoes, Seitan & Waffles, Impossible Sausage Croissant, Tofu, Corn “Beef” Cabbage, Vegan Calamari, Buffalo Wraps, Pasta Salads, Beyond Burger, Baked Goods, Candy, Beverages, Cocktails, & Shakes. . Items Reviewed: Their Seitan $ Waffles (with 100% maple syrup & hot sauce $14). The fried chicken like Seitan…STAMP!! Crispy & well seasoned!! The waffles were DELICIOUS! Their French Onion Soup (with crostini & smoked Violife slices $8). STAMP!! Flavorful, mild & warm!! Their Oyster Mushroom Calamari (with marinara & a lemon wedge $10). STAMP!! Fried to perfection, you may not even know that these are mushrooms!! Their Roasted Potatoes (with gravy & garlic aioli-$1, $5.75). STAMP!! Undeniably tasty, especially with the gravy & aioli!! Their Chocolate Tiramisu-$8, & Their, non-alcoholic Chai Lemon Fizz-$6). STAMP both of these items!! Delectable, moist tiramisu, & that superbly refreshing fizz!! Get these!! . Customer Service: Bluntly, I wasn’t greeted, or welcomed when I walked in. I was uncomfortably stared at after I greeted the host, I had to ask about seating & how the ordering process worked. So when the patrons that sat next to me were welcomed, asked if it were their first time there, and had the ordering process explained to them w/o asking, I was disappointed. Nobody said anything wrong to me, and I was serviced promptly, but the extra care & concern that those customers received should be standard for all customers. . Online Navigation: Simple . Parking: Rough/Metered/Enforced . Recommendations: The Soup, Potatoes, Tiramisu, Calamari, & definitely the Fizz!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=STAMP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕=A.DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️=DECENT ⭐️⭐️=PASS ⭐️=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

Linda Piccotti: All we keep saying is, "oh my God!" This is the best vegan food we have ever had! We will definitely be back here when we are visiting near D.C. again. We need one where we live, lol. Great service, friendly and accommodating staff. The biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes and chilaquiles we're excellent. I don't like spicy food so I was in heaven. Add hot sauce if you want more heat 😉

Harmony Hitchner: The food came out looking like an ad! Beautiful, but according to the family it was just as tasty as it looked! I didn’t get a pic of other food because it was gone before I knew it. The service was beyond amazing! Very sweet , and very helpful staff. I just wished they had more allergy friendly food. But overall, would absolutely bring friends and family back to eat there!!
Response: Thank you!

Zack Bloom: This place is unbelievable. The perogie are so good! The poutine was also shockingly great. Don’t miss the Chocolate Egg Cream (no real egg involved of course, it’s all vegan!).
Response: Zack, you are the best.

Melissa Buckingham: I ordered the chickpea steak platter and I'm sure that this entree clouded my experience. It was very underwhelming and I ate about half of it before taking it to go. The picture is the full serving. I think the potatoes lose their intended crispness because they are plated under the greens. The sauce could have also had a kick to it but again, it was underwhelming. I had high hopes for this place so if I wasn't in town from NYC then I'd consider trying a different menu item in the future.
Response: Hello Melissa! Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience. We hope if you are in the area again that you give us a second chance, especially during brunch.

Linda Zh: Average to below average vegan food. The seitan “chicken” was decent but the waffle was soggy. Funfetti cake slice was dense and one-note with its sweetness. The mac and cheese was extremely disappointing - the mac was very thick and flavorless, and it was not adequately coated by the cheese sauce. When we were seated, the hostess mentioned that there’s a 20% service fee included with each order. Fine, but then there’s an additional tip section in the checkout, and the 20% option is the default option. I wouldn’t mind tipping except there’s really no service at all. You scan the QR code to open the menu and order online, and then someone brings the food to you. There’s no one to check on you or refill water. Not a good experience.

L Ram: Can we please get a Fare Well in Atlanta! I’m so thankful I had several vegan options when visiting D.C., I knew after reading reviews I had to visit Fare Well and I’m so glad I did Very small but charming diner serving breakfast all day (Wednesday – Sunday), they also have a bar for people interested in adult beverages. Saturday and Sunday they have a brunch menu. I visited late Sunday around 3pm and there was not wait but it was pretty full inside. I was dining solo and unfortunately couldn’t try too many items, I definitely wanted to try the Buffalo Cauliflower ($12) and it was SO GOOD! I cleaned the bowl and really wish I had this recipe. Its spicy whipped cashew and cauliflower dip served with soy and sheet free tortilla chips. For my entrée I ordered Chilaquiles ($13). It was very filling and a large portion, I couldn’t finish my dish. I loved all of the ingredients and thought it was flavorful but did add some hot sauce since I like my food to have a little spice. The Chilaquiles included tofu scramble, black beans, poblanos, roasted tomato rojo sauce and cilantro crema served with roasted potatoes. I also added avocado ($3). Service was okay, my food was served with a smile which I appreciate.
Response: So glad you enjoyed your visit! Hope you visit D.C. again soon, we will be here for you when you do!

Vikram Singh: One of the best vegan spots in DC. I had the Perogies with sweet potato poutine and Oreo milkshake. Everything was delicious! I’m just sad it took me this long to get here.

Open City: what do users think?

Deny Kostadinova: The place is very nice and pleasant, outside seating area seems a better option since inside there is no AC and only fans so it is noticeably hotter. I loved that they had oat and almond milk to substitute whole/skim for cappuccino. The hash brown is nicely cooked - crunchy and in a square. If they were to have booths inside the place I would give it a 5 star. But amazing as they have a bar inside too. Prices aren’t as expensive as other restaurants that I visited nearby. The waitress was extremely nice and talkative to us.(:
Response: Thank you, Deny! Our hash browns are definitely a fan favorite. I apologize for the struggles with our AC, and I will be sure to bring this to the attention of our facilities manager.

D L: Open City is one third of a Greek-owned Diner trilogy. All three spots are solid for good food at a fair price. Very Casual. Full Bar. No set vibe -You will see all types of people as a situations when you walk in. Always friendly service! Coffee and Tea options have a gravity all their own within the Menu; the selection is as interesting as it is diverse. I strongly recommend the Dirty Chai (I ordered mine with a shot of Vodka- why not!?). I have yet to encounter a menu item that is even remotely unpalatable. I will say Breakfast is their strong suit, especially for Dinner! :)
Response: Thanks, D L!

Jennifer Ziegenfus: I was attending a conference down the street and needed lunch before it started. I was seated at table for 1 outside under the tent. The food was great but the waiters were so overwhelmed it gave me anxiety. I almost didn't order something because they were panting from running around. I think they were short staffed or maybe the crowd was larger than expected? Either way, they did their best but it wasn't the best dining experience for me.
Response: Hi Jennifer! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Sometimes the local conferences can lead to a bit more of a 'rush' than we typically expect for a weekday lunch service. We appreciate your patience and thoughtfulness with our staff, and I'm glad to hear you loved your meal :-). Hopefully things will be a little less hectic next time you're in town!

Numba “Numba” 1: The overall vibe was retro with the decor and the interior design. The waiters were both professional and polite with the food being absolutely delicious. I highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy an appetizing meal.

Stephen Dobbs: We come down from Baltimore to explore DC and this is our 2nd time eating here. We made sure to come back bc the food and prices were that good. My g/f had the half of chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had the 24th street chicken sammich again.... so good and we split the sm kale salad
Response: Thank you so much for your kind review, Stephen!

Thomas Gibson: Great food and atmosphere! It’s a lively cafe, but you can easily carry on a conversation and there is enough space between the tables so you don’t feel super crowded around you. The London Fog was top notch. I also had the sausage calzone. The calzone was full of peppers, onions, and sausage and tasted great. A bed of arugula was also included with a great lemon dressing that wasn’t thick or watery and complimented the arugula very well.
Response: Thanks, Thomas!

Dab Queen Darstar: The food and service was spectacular! Even the eggs were good, and I don't like eggs. Also the water was good too lol
Response: Amazing!

Max Porter: Delicious hash brown bowl. Great vibe. Do recommend arriving early. I showed up at 0900 on a Sunday and got a seat immediately. When I left at 1000 there was already a wait of ~7 people outside.
Response: Thanks, Max!

Josh Axelrod: A sister restaurant to the AdMo fave, Tryst, Open City mostly captures the charm of its progenitor. All day brunch is a huge plus and the flatbreads and pies are a standout. A great choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.
Response: Thanks, Josh!

Allison F: We really liked this place! Very unique choices. Great cocktails and coffee, the chicken and waffles were generous and the bomb! Their patio wasn't open for waiting service but they gave you the option to get anything to-go if you wanted to still use it. Got a mocha milkshake after because we really enjoyed the food!
Response: Thanks, Allison!
