Jojo Restaurant and Bar: what do users think?
Fernanda Lanzagorta
Fernanda Lanzagorta: The live music is definitely the best asset of this restaurant. Its 10 dollars for the the music. We were expecting more on the food, the fries and apple tart were the best of all. The ambiance is so cozy and inviting. I’ll come back for the music and the desserts.
Response: Thank you!
mletts423
mletts423: This is a great spot! The Jazz was incredible. It is a small bar with great sound. The bartenders work really hard and make great drinks! I highly recommend this place!
Response: Thamks, you are the best. Check out our happy hours daily from 5pm-7pm.
Vicki J (MylifeMystyle)
Vicki J (MylifeMystyle): Jojo’s a vibe ! If you like jazz / live music then check it out when in DC . There’s a $10 cover for the nights the band is playing live for downstairs seats. The food is tasty as well .
Response: Thank you Vicki, we hope to see you soon.
Anita Molina
Anita Molina: What a little gem. We came to enjoy some late night jazz. Cozy inside, atmosphere was fantastic. Loved the ambiance. Excellent food, excellent drinks and most importantly excellent music. We will be back.
Response: Thank you
Emerson P. Daniel
Emerson P. Daniel: interesting. food is great! the bartender pictured here touched my limes with his bare hands… and he kept going to the side to eat like taking chomps,,, i guess he was really hungry 😂😂😂overall— unsanitary and friendly in a fake way. oh and he didn’t know what the menu pictures were.. like what🤣🤣🤣 do you want me to get something?? and i kid you not my friend was asking about the picture and i literally figured out myself so you would THINK the bartender could do the same let alone know off bat—
Response: Thank you.
Alex Moore
Alex Moore: Came for the jazz and will probably only come back for the live jazz. The drinks were pretty standard, maybe a little too sweet on their fruit based cocktails. We had a reservation but had to wait ~20-30minutes for the table, despite arriving on time, since the party before us took their time to gather up and leave. The food was ok, and took a very long time to come out. Ordered the lamb chops rare, but only one of the 3 were rare. The chops varied in thickness too, which added to the uneven doneness. The dish was supposed to come with garlic mashed potatoes but came out with a few potato wedges instead, the spinach side was good. They add 20% gratuity to your bill and $10/head for live music.
Response: Thank you.

Madam's Organ: what do users think?
Brad Badger
Brad Badger: My girlfriend and I made sure to stop here after she had been here years ago and loved it. Our bartender Deborah was 10/10. She made some amazing drinks and was incredibly great to us. We got an appetizer sampler and the fried fish bites were absolutely killer. Live music was great as well. Cool vibes and great service. I will definitely stop by Madams Organ again the next time I am in DC!
Eve Breier
Eve Breier: Lovely atmosphere! The music is good, bartenders are friendly, nice mix of club-like dance floor upstairs, seated area on the middle floor, and a bar/performance area downstairs. It has it all. Also pretty funky decor all over.
James Bladen
James Bladen: I really wanted to try this place and menu sounded good, but waited over 15 minutes or more for someone to take my order and never did! I asked the bartender if someone was going to wait on my table and I could not hear what his response was, he just mumbled something. I was being as patient as possible and understand places are short staffed. There was a big table of around 10 people upstairs and I was by myself downstairs, I guess that explains it. The bartender was more interested staring at his phone than making sure his customers were taken care of. I was going to order a large order and I do tip good, but sorry, you just lost a customer and me recommending a place if you ignore solo diners like that.
Response: Sorry it didn’t work out for you. We are having labor issues but that is no excuse
Stacy Walker
Stacy Walker: Awesome spot, easy bar, and amazing entertainment! Check them out on Tuesday nights for great live music
Ieshia E. Butler
Ieshia E. Butler: Food was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I am from the Caribbean and was expecting the soul food to be a bit more flavorful. The waitress was really nice and the menu was affordable.
Response: Maybe you wanted Caribbean food and not Soul food
Amanda
Amanda: Great dark chilled atmosphere. Multiple floors with a partially covered roof top bar. Live bands. Friendly speedy service. Reasonable food and drink prices. Pool table available.
DiiJay Victorious
DiiJay Victorious: Great place. Bouncer is cool and ppl are sociable. Bands are cool. Beware atmospheres change momentarily and without notice (not for badly, just different crowds)
Alison Scott
Alison Scott: Loved the live music, bartender was so friendly! Amazing vibes - so glad we stopped in here. One of my favorite stops while visiting DC

Public Bar Live: what do users think?
Alexandra Spataro
Alexandra Spataro: This place is so fun and lots of different beverages to pick from! Going during the day Saturday was a good choice! It seemed like a couple events were going on where people were celebrating something and getting bottle service so that made the place have even more energy (bubbles, signs every couple of minutes, DJ, beach ball thrown, etc). Only con is that the rooftop deck is not stiletto friendly, ladies you WILL get your heel stuck between the planks; you have been warned. Cheers!
Aziza Nabila
Aziza Nabila: Love this bar! We had so much fun on the rooftop on Saturday. It’s definitely a vibe and one of the BEST HOT SPOTS in the city. The staff was so friendly and service was great! Get a VIP table so you don’t have to wait in line. The bottle girls are the best and know how to party. Tables sell out super quick so reserve them early or they’ll put you on their waiting list.
JW
JW: Empty dance floor inside and bouncer at the door was rude - required individual masks for each party despite NO ONE having masks on inside. Place had an empty dance floor on Saturday night (10-11 pm). We went to Mayflower instead and had a much better time. Get some new bouncers if you want to have any business.
Diana Bermudez
Diana Bermudez: Good place for games but gets super, super packed. Try to reserve a table if you can.
Response: Thank you for your review Diana and we would like set you up with a table for all your needs thought the night. If that’s not something you’re interested in we would love your input on what you’re more interested in. DM us for more.
nohemi garcia
nohemi garcia: Been there on Sunday , mix music.🎶 not a big place. But you can Dance and have fun. Prices on drinks are fair enough. 🍸 bartenders working hard there and provide great service.
Lisa M
Lisa M: Got completely scammed by this place and our whole friend group got robbed while inside the club. We got a VIP table and it was not worth it at all. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Music was mediocre and there were way too many people to do anything but stand still. There are much better places to go in dc. This was our first time going and it will definitely be the last. We ordered some bottles then immediately got kicked out and they let tons of random people in our sections. This place SUCKSSSSSSS.
Omar Hamad
Omar Hamad: This is a fraudulent establishment. To say they have a lack of internal coordination and customer service would be generous. They need an organizational facelift with new and somewhat competent management who can at least give the appearance of relatively caring about their customers. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
Juan Varela
Juan Varela: Music and vibes are incredible. One of the best spots to party in DC. Lee and Mariah are two of the best I’ve met in the hospitality industry in any city! Wish there were more places like this in DC and more people at bars and clubs like Lee and Mariah!!

Union Stage: what do users think?
Tricia Alletzhauser
Tricia Alletzhauser: We had a great time here. We saw Niko Moon. It was an excellent show and the bar is a decent venue to watch a show. The bar staff was very nice. Overall, we had a great time.
Response: Thank you!
Dave Nemetz
Dave Nemetz: Great little joint to hear some live music. Easy to get to, just a short walk from the L’Enfant Plaza Metro stop. Saw Will Hoge, and was right up next to the stage. Looking forward to seeing more shows here soon.
Oooma L.
Oooma L.: A most excellent venue if standing (as in NO seating for regular ticket holders) amid a sea of mostly unmasked bipeds on a concrete floor in dark, windowless dungeons excites you. Featured music acts are one or two steps above what is offered at local suburban coffee houses. Meh. Most of the staff were polite.
Response: hi oooma. the floor is wood and the acts are all nationally or internationally touring performers. but yes, most of our concert-goers are bipeds!
Ann Brennan
Ann Brennan: Great venue for music. Very intimate without being too crowded. Clean. Easy to park. Good beer selection and attentive staff.
Response: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed your time!

Black Cat: what do users think?
Nick Pascale
Nick Pascale: performed there with my band, The Missing Peace (check us out) and the staff was extremely nice to us and treated us with utmost respect despite opening for a huge artist. Also music venues normally carry a stigma of being stingy with their alcohol in their drinks but Black Cat served great tasting, well mixed drinks - best venue i’ve experienced in the DMV area!
Ramiro Pena
Ramiro Pena: My past two experiences have been dreadful. They pack the place so full of people it is really concerning. I straight up got panic attacks from just how many people are packed in post pandemic. God bless them but I guess it’s just not for me anymore. It’s so hard to ascertain when the events held here arent packed with a huge huge group of people because besides that I’m sure there are worthwhile acts to watch. I remember one group that did a really cool interpretive dance I’m sorry for the low score but thats me and I think I’m going to add some keywords so that a certain audience can understand. If you have autism or anxiety this might not be the most accesible place for you. The last two times I have been here getting a drink or even approaching the bar has been impossible. The place was so packed inevitability people were rubbing up against me CONSTANTLY. Personally I can’t stand that. This place has pinball which is nice but last time the one machine had a flipper broken. I wish I could enjoy being inside this place but theres no where to sit most of the time I feel awkward walking in and just standing around, I can’t feel comfortable dancing because theres no room to move without brushing up against someone. I just can’t stand that. This is a personal problem but if you have sensory issues like that consider this an advisement
kevin jenkins
kevin jenkins: Had a great time seeing Flobots. Bartenders are great. Tip them. Well.
JW Francis
JW Francis: I played here on 4/19 and had a wonderful experience! Very cool room with checkered floor. Very kind people behind the bar and working production. Two thumbs wayyyy up!
Robert Cardoni
Robert Cardoni: Mid size music venue hosting indie and punk acts. Space is long and narrow - so sight lines and sound can be off near the back but it’s still a great space. They recently downsized from 2 levels to one. Kind of sad but at least they weren’t forced out of the neighborhood due to gentrification. Bring cash. No credit cards accepted They no longer have food :(

The Crown & Crow: what do users think?
Christopher Yuen
Christopher Yuen: I was in town for a business meeting and I took a few friends out to this bar on a whim and we had a blast! The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were unique and delicious! I had so much fun I ended up leaving my blazer at the bar. I called the manager Graham a few days later and he mailed it back to me all the way to Connecticut. He’s awesome and this place is too!!!!!
Response: Thanks Christopher, it's our pleasure to host you and your friends!
Annie
Annie: Cool bar with a chill vibe. Came here on a Monday night at 630 and there were only 2 other groups. Not the typical DC bar. There are a few tables and the bar to sit at. The cucumber mule was really good!
Response: You can always count on us for good vibes and great drinks, Annie. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your cucumber mule. Come back and see us for more cocktails in the future! -Cheers, The Crown & Crow
Corey Nolan
Corey Nolan: Always have a great time in this nostalgic Bar. Brian "Bar Man" has done an outstanding job building his dream. Staff is super friendly and they have stepped up their cocktail game since I last visited. Glad I was able to ring in 2022 in such good company! Thanks C&C team! Stay safe!
Response: We're glad to hear you always have a great time with us, Corey. Our friendly staff is always here to take care of you and treat you to a cocktail. We hope you'll be back to celebrate with us sometime soon. -Cheers, The Crown & Crow

Columbia Station Club: what do users think?
Ayaz Khan
Ayaz Khan: A fantastic jazz venue. Had a great experience. The owner, Mahari, personally checks on all the guests. The bartender Lena is lovely.Great service, relaxed atmosphere. Real Jazz start kicking off around 9pm. Great performers. Will certainly be frequenting this place regularly.
cristalebella B
cristalebella B: The owner welcomed us in immediately andmade us feel at home. The Jazz was what dragged us in, and it progressively got better and better. I sipped on my dirty martini and enjoyed all the ambiance this place had to offer. Meoowwww all that was missing was Eartha Kitt 😉 😘
Ellie Twigg
Ellie Twigg: Ugh. Great potential in this AdMo spot but unfortunately, the service from bar staff and ownership is so bad. Horrendously overpriced drinks and rude bartenders in a place that hosts amazing live Jazz music and the occasional comedy night. Diverse crowd and a packed house with little to no service to the seated tables or those sat at the bar. Didn’t keep proper tabs on our bill so we were charged a seemingly random amount. We might be back but only for the jazz and comedy.
Dwayne Evans
Dwayne Evans: Laid back comfortable atmosphere with no pretense. Good service and music
Elizabeth Goodrich
Elizabeth Goodrich: Sat outside while the jazz band played. Highly recommend. Had the calamari for an app. It was SO good, lightly fried. Then we had a chicken pasta, delicious. Lots of vegetables and seasoned amazingly. Then my partner in crime had a steak that was Pittsburgh style. Sooo good. Came on a Sunday night! Jazz until 1am.

Georgetown Piano Bar: what do users think?
Nate B
Nate B: This place was okay. We had the charcuterie board and the spinach and artichoke dip. Board was okay for $20. Brie was in Philadelphia cream cheese style container. Dip was good. Not a normal piano bar. Same music over and over.
Abi O
Abi O: Great happy hour from 5-7. Half off appetizers and $5 draft beer and wine. Fantastic staff and super lively and talented piano player. It was easy to both talk and enjoy the music: it’s not too loud like other reviewers said. We had a lot of fun singing along and requesting songs. White pizza and spinach artichoke dip were great.
Julia N
Julia N: It’s been a long two years, but I tried to support this place as much as possible because they can’t go anywhere. They are THE hidden gem of Georgetown. Was there tonight at Asheley was mesmerizing on piano, the wine bottles were half off, and the vibes were perfect. I felt like I was in a movie.
Patrick Sherman
Patrick Sherman: Nice location. Interior screamed Comedy Club. But it was a piano bar. We went because we thought it would be dueling pianos and fun. 2 pianists short. Playing and singing were not the piano players long suit. Musical waterboarding. Abandon hope...
Cole Breuer
Cole Breuer: Owner is very aggressive and mean. Only cares that he is the owner and is awful. Had a friend who had a terrible experience directly related to him. 3 girls walked out and he screamed at them to leave who one I am friends with. Very disrespectful and was angry that he couldn’t get in because his place was so packed. Fun for college students however the guy who owns it is very odd and mean. Don’t recommend unless you want to wait a lifetime and get yelled at by some soulless man
Whole Again
Whole Again: What a FANTASTIC venue! Eugene runs a tight ship with amazing talent! From the honesty with the staff, to the execution of the music. Just fantastic. Highly recommended!
Andrew Peck
Andrew Peck: Best bar in Georgetown. Good food, good music, and great drinks. Can’t ask for a better time. Great manager/owner too.
Lee Sport
Lee Sport: My friend DJ’d here for years, and now believes he is a musical talent on the scale of Mozart, Bach, or even lil yachty. He is not. That being said I have danced my way to nirvana, while sweating so much I almost died. The drinks are so strong, when I in the puked in the Potomac the fish 50 miles away started boogieing on that gin and juice.

Bobby McKey's Dueling Piano Bar: what do users think?
Titi
Titi: Great experience! Extremely talented musicians and our waitress was so nice. Only negative is having to sit so close to strangers if you are in a small group. Especially in these times. Other than that, we had a great time and definitely recommend!
Response: Thanks so much for this great review Titi!
Blue Girl
Blue Girl: It’s always fun coming to this place, I love it. So far I had nothing but wonderful experiences with this place. Great drinks and staff are super friendly. We like coming a little bit late when everyone’s a little buzz, more musicians at the stage and customers singing along. Definitely a place worth checking out when visiting National harbor.
Response: Thanks so much for this great review Blue Girl!
Josef Gasimov
Josef Gasimov: Excellent place to spend Saturday night with talented musicians, good drink menu and OK food. Bring lots of cash so you can order your favorite songs or mention birthday or anniversary etc. On Saturdays place stays up past midnight and opens door at 7pm with piano folks starting around 8pm. $35 admission fee is best money spent. Except food which was ok everything else was perfect. Definitely a place to come back to!
Response: Thanks so much for this great review Josef! We appreciate your business and you taking the time to share about your experience.
Alma Cochran
Alma Cochran: Definitely would recommend. The staff was amazing, musicians were extremely talented. The only thing that would make this a bad experience is if you had a crowd that wasn’t engaged, but the staff and musicians didn’t let that happen for me
Response: Thanks for this really great review Alma!
Shawn Bartley
Shawn Bartley: You must go!!! These musicians are amazing!!! Rock stars!!! Great atmosphere. Great experience!!!
Response: Thanks so much Shawn, this review is awesome!
Kat B
Kat B: 10/10 , highly recommend this for brunch with the girls or family . Definitely best for people who have a sense of humor . By the end of the brunch, my partner and I ended up on stage dancing to the piano version of “the thong song” lol We had a blast , felt like a safe place to be silly & for all ages above 21 , (they weren’t kidding about unlimited mimosas ), we never had an empty cup . There was a group of gals celebrating their 60th, another group of bachelorette ladies, and group celebrating a birthday . Although we were all strangers it felt like we were all celebrating together which speaks towards the welcoming ambiance and hosts of the brunch .
Response: Wow Kat, thanks for this really detailed review. You're totally sharing your experience with everyone and we appreciate you taking the time to post. You're the best!
Jennifer Osborne
Jennifer Osborne: We had such a great date night at Bobby McKey’s! Wow, the musicians are EXCELLENT, and their energy and enthusiasm is infectious. Hilarious too! Food was pretty tasty, but it’s definitely bar food. I recommend the egg rolls! (However, I don’t recommend the McKEY’S Breeze cocktail unless you like your drinks VERY sweet!) Definitely recommend checking this place out if you want a fun night at the harbor!
Response: Thanks for this great review Jennifer! Glad that you spent such a fun date night with us.
Adriane Bowman
Adriane Bowman: Since nobody is going to say it, the brunch food was nasty. The food was cold and bland. The only thing I enjoyed was my Sprite. Then as much as they charged (along with gratuity up front) the food was served on plastic plates like we were at a cookout. The dueling piano show was nice however, I would not return.
Response: Adriane, thanks for your business and honest feedback. Sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. We clearly have some work to do and will continue to strive for a begtter output. I hope that you enjoyed the show.
Karly Coppinger
Karly Coppinger: This place is extremely overpriced. Tickets alone for a table seat are 25$ then mixed drinks are $15, shots $11, and beers $6-8. Not to mention the cups served with the drinks were very small not tall at all. Then if you want to put in a song request you have to provide a tip to the piano players… let alone they didn’t know half the songs we would put up for request.
Response: Karly, I guess it's all about geography and perspective. How much do you value 4 talented musicians with an incredible repertoire. Our pricing is definitely competitive to the DC metro area. A pedal your own boat cruise in our neighborhood goes for $50. We think $25 is extremely fair.

Blues Alley Club: what do users think?
Laetitia Monnier
Laetitia Monnier: Awesome club ! We went there for a date night and it was a great experience. There is little table around the stage where you can get close and cozy. The atmosphere is dark and felted which is perfect for a romantic date. The music was awesome too. It was a mix of jazz, blues, hip-hop and it was definitely perfect. The food was good too with choice from southern cuisine which we love. I think it’s a must do in DC and we’ll definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family !
Tom Williams
Tom Williams: This spot is dope and laid back, I like the location also. The drinks and food were good, this is a must go I will return for sure. They do ask for your vaccination card so don’t be surprised about that. Give it shot and enjoy yourself.
Michael Goodman
Michael Goodman: Good little historic jazz club in DC. Good space, nice acts coming through. A bit stuffy for my taste, as I usually prefer walk-in casual spots, and this requires tickets in advance. But forcing ticket sales does at least encourage active listeners rather than a raucous, drunken bar crowd. Pretty good layout, good view of the band from most seats in the house. The food is something awful. Get dinner elsewhere.
Anne Schumann
Anne Schumann: Blues Alley is open and putting on great shows. Vaccinations are required to enter but masks are optional (as of this review). Expect to pay a cover plus a food and beverage minimum. Tickets can be purchased online in advance and there are shows most nights of the week ranging from school bands, local up and commers and national talent. There is a parking garage right across the street or on weeknights you can usually find street parking.
Shantell Hartley
Shantell Hartley: The music was great. However, the service was terrible!!! The show started a little after 10pm. I didn’t get my drink until 11:30pm. Right after I got my drink, the show ended!!! They continually got our drink orders wrong and didn’t have any of the mixers we ordered. They even sent a mixed drink to our table in two different glasses, unmixed. It was a MESS! I finally had to ask for my drink to be mixed with a coke since they didn’t have anything else. It was not delicious. I couldn’t even drink it. I had to ask for extra soda because it was so strong. I am really disappointed by this experience. I should have gotten a refund! The two stars are only because the music was good.
Terri Miller
Terri Miller: Blues Alley never disappoints! The pefect venue for enjoying live music. The staff is friendly and professional. I saw one of my favorite artist Kim Waters. It was an amazing performance and outstanding band. I looking forward to going back soon.
J D
J D: Wonderful jazz music in a historic carriage house. The quality of the music and musicians was equal to what we hear at our local concert venue. Owners are hospitable and service is quick and efficient. We enjoyed beverages but want to try the food on our next visit. Check this place out and do your part to support live jazz music and a lively venue.

Penn Social: what do users think?
Aaron-Micheal Blackman
Aaron-Micheal Blackman: Solid bar, decent food, good staff. Very much enjoyed the music on the lower floor, which has a dance floor and a few nice games. I imagine it can get more lively but it was almost empty at the time. I did enjoy the music selection though.
Black Star Dust
Black Star Dust: Penn social is a dope spot for watching sports! The downstairs area is filled with projector size screens and the sound system is a close second to being at the game. Great place to go check it you favorite teams and meet up with friends. They have other games to play like corn hole, basketball and giant sized Jenga. Lots of choices on tap and a full bar. Great spot.
Daniel Dias
Daniel Dias: Cool spot to hang out with friends have a drink and play some games. Staff was cool! Only complaint was online it said they would have the UFC fights on and when we arrived no fights. So had 2 drinks and left.
ThinkPink Cottages
ThinkPink Cottages: We had a great experience at this place on Sunday. Our bartender Jasmine Was very knowledgeable and attentive we had Prosecco on tab with fresh orange juice pot pie and couple cocktails. This place is a great relaxing for easy beverage.
Natalie Thomas
Natalie Thomas: Drinks are fine although they kept making my friends and I’s orders wrong (I ordered for a whiskey sour, got a gin and tonic, someone asked for a vodka cran, we don’t even know what we got.) The place is huge though and dancing is always fun and they play a variety of music which is nice! Kitchen closed before we got there sadly so don’t know what the food is like
Mayo Tracy
Mayo Tracy: I really like this spot. Great music and the drinks were really good. Staff was friendly and I like the option of being able to purchase seats. Kevin Ross was amazing too.
erica chin
erica chin: Went to see Kevin Ross at this venue. Show was supposed to start at 8:00 PM and at 8:20 show hadn’t started. The seating chart that was published for the show was different than how the seats were ranged for the show. Everyone was jammed into a small space and people were allowed to stand and block views of people who bought tables. Never coming back here. Horrible, horrible venue.
Jim Dalton
Jim Dalton: Had pictures of games. Not open unless large event. Happy hour prices are always applied. Wouldn’t come back.
Response: Hi Jim, I'm sorry your visit to Little Penn Coffeehouse didn't meet your expectations. We had to pivot after COVID and we're trying something new! I hope you give us another chance if you are ever in the mood for a craft cocktail, breakfast sandwich or a boozy coffee cocktail. Best,

Mr. Henry's Restaurant: what do users think?
Giovana Cianciarulo
Giovana Cianciarulo: My boyfriend and I came to visit the DC area and were recommended to visit Mr. Henry’s. As music lovers, we absolutely LOVED the musicians and Dominique Bianco‘s performance! Our server, Pat, was incredibly sweet and offered a dessert at the end when the food took some time to make (which we didn’t even notice because the jazz show was that good!) I recommend the steak, it was delicious! Mr. Henry’s, we will definitely be back!
Kristen Mehr, Truly Fine Homes
Kristen Mehr, Truly Fine Homes: Went back for old times sake after 15 years...used to live around-the-corner from it on Capital Hill. Still same atmosphere but the nachos were not as I remember... too many beans...but their other food was good. Great neighborhood joint!
Nik Kei
Nik Kei: Got the seafood platter which sounded good on paper but when it was brought out….. It was underwhelming to say the least. It was missing the fried oysters. It’s old dark and dingy to me and was just not impressed. Waiter was great though. I honestly don’t know why this place gets great reviews. Felt it was misleading.
Bhavik Sharma
Bhavik Sharma: Visited this place for the first time in 2018. Visiting again today. Love this place. The food is awesome and the people are so courteous
t mac
t mac: The food was great for my first time. But the waitress we had was not attentive and did not check to make sure we good or offer specials or what try out being though it was our first time.
Karen Abdulrasheed
Karen Abdulrasheed: Crab cake sandwich and spicy crab dip was delicious and was capped off with brownie sundae Service was excellent and food served hot. Waiter was friendly and efficient. Will definitely come back to dine again next trip to DC
Emily Lumley
Emily Lumley: My husband and I live nearby and this has become our go to spot. We come here every few weeks for Rita Tuesdays, amazing old bay wings, great service and HH deals you can’t beat in this area. Favorite Dish - Old Bay Wings and The Reuben 😅 Atmosphere - chill and family friendly, highly recommend!
Caleb Tacuri
Caleb Tacuri: Music was great. I was able to find a parking spot in front even though we got there a bit late, which was convenient. Waiters were polite and helpful. Only problem was our food was given to us with a dead fly on it which was a turn off and we ended up leaving. You might have a better experience if you don’t eat here.
Faith Mitchell
Faith Mitchell: Was disappointed with my visit here as I always hear good things. Drinks were good, but the food was not. One item was clearly not made correctly as the taste was so off i couldn’t eat it. Fries undercooked, The burger and the fish sandwich I had tasted like they had no seasoning at all and the wings were fried way too hard. I couldn’t recommend.

Quadrant Bar & Lounge: what do users think?
Konstantin
Konstantin: Visited this place for breakfast while staying at Ritz Carlton hotel. Well, it is expensive but the food is good, atmosphere is very cozy and place itself is amazing. They do have buffet breakfast on Saturday and Sundays. Monday to Friday is a la carte
DJY30
DJY30: Very comfortable place. I really enjoyed the relaxed but upscale setting. Live jazz on Saturdays, all the other days they play jazz, I guess from Spotify/radio. Still nice and relaxing. Cocktails are very strong and food is very delicious. I recommend to get a reservation ahead of time; it can be crowded in the bar area (small bar) if you dont come at an early time (aka 8pm/2000). Highly recommend.
Shaun “Shaun386” Jafarzadeh
Shaun “Shaun386” Jafarzadeh: Had dinner here after a long drive to DC. Food was good service was both friendly and knowledgeable. Bar staff was helpful with recommendations and knew the local bar scene well.
Ahmed Hameed
Ahmed Hameed: My gf and I were at this place, the drink cup broke and cut my girlfriend’s hand. They fixed this incident. 5 minutes Later the server brought the check and asked me to pay and leave because they were slow !! It was such a big lie … the place was full of customers and he had a big attitude when he seen lil salad dropped on the floor. I was extremely disappointed and treated racistly based on how I dressed First time and last time at this place.

The Dubliner Restaurant: what do users think?
H
H: I have never had a sublime turkey burger until I went here. Half a pound patties on toasted brioche buns with a side of thick cut fries. Great spot to hit a spot for pub food. The fries were a tad overly seasoned for my taste but I was thoroughly impressed by the burger of the day and the bison burger. Okay service. Restaurant is connected to a hotel in the back. Outdoor patio seating available. Nice atmosphere even though music was a bit too loud at times to converse.
Samar Al Kobrossy
Samar Al Kobrossy: Great place! The food is tasty and flavorful. The portions are big. The decoration is amazing. The waiters are attentive and can give you tips on how to navigate your way around the city. You can sit down, relax, and enjoy your food while listening to some beautiful Irish songs.
Kelly Hyer
Kelly Hyer: Great local choice. Fabulous service and really great food. When in an Irish spot, must have the fish and chips. Seasoned fries- yum. Sooo good, highly recommend. Pretzel stix appetizer delish. Nice kids options too 👌 🌭 🍟
Brett Daviau
Brett Daviau: Breakfast was great. Salmon bagel with all the fixings. Poor server was trying her best to handle the whole shop by herself. Hope she can get some help. Delicious.
Bobbi DeAnda
Bobbi DeAnda: AMAZING SERVICE!!! Food was ok, but the service was amazing. So friendly. So fast. So responsive. I actually left my sunglasses and someone ran them out to me!!! The French fries are AMAZINGGGGGG, but the rest of the food was just ok. Fish and chips, fish ok. Burger, ehh. I ordered the burger medium and it was well done. Probably a great spot for drinks and snacks, but wouldn’t go for lunch again. For drinks and French fries, YES!
Edward O'Beirne
Edward O'Beirne: Decent menu, good quality food, worth going again. Service was lackluster, possibly an element of understaffed but the place was nearly empty on a Friday afternoon 1pm. Greek salad with salmon was enjoyed. Philly cheesesteak about average. Cold beers. Nice outdoor seating view. Not first choice but would return.
craig mossinger
craig mossinger: This is an absolute must for lunch! Service is quick and friendly! Fish n chips and the Irish Rueben are phenomenal.
Steve Meier
Steve Meier: Great place, and of course what do you order at an Irish Resturant? Fish & Chips and it was probably the best I have ever had. Some of my coworkers were Shepherd Pie fans and a couple others were more traditional and had a Chicken Sandwich. The common theme was everyone was happy with their meal. Service was great and atmosphere was pleasant.

9:30 Club: what do users think?
Brian Copes
Brian Copes: I believe it was my second time at this club and it was a great time! Context - I went to a pride/DJ/ drag show event, but I believe it’s a concert venue in the DC area. Security - I believe they have a metal detector and they check your bags so be prepared and consider that from a time management standpoint. Venue- it’s huge with multiple levels including bars, bathrooms and places to stand/dance/watch. I heard there’s a lower level, but last night I was just on the balcony and main floor near the stage. Vibe - loved the mood and energy. It was packed around 11PM EST even though it started at 10PM. There’s was free water, disco ball, alcohol, lights, go-go dancers and people in the mood to have a fun night. Overall, I would recommend this place for a night out.
Ian Pitts
Ian Pitts: Cozy venue with multiple bars and some food options. Parking is only a block or two away and there are options for food right nearby within walking distance. The ticket checking process was smooth and they even checked a camera that was deemed "professional" for free during the show.
Anna S
Anna S: I just took my daughter and her friends to this venue for the first time for an all ages show last night. I am so glad that I did! She and her high school friends had a great time! My friend and I had a nice view from the balcony bar and were able to enjoy ourselves and have our eyes on the girls at all times. We called the club earlier in the evening and the woman who answered the phone gave us great instructions on where to park as well! They take the mask and vaccinations proof seriously as well, which made me feel more comfortable about safety. Bathrooms were clean at the beginning and f the night. Overall, for a place to get 4 decades of people all enjoying the same music and scene, the 9:30 Club did a great job.
Michelle
Michelle: What an awesome venue! I recently saw one of my favorite bands here and was blown away! The sound in this club is amazing! You can feel every beat and note. Also, great staff! Keeping it safe, but fun. 👍🏻👍🏻
Tori Barker
Tori Barker: We barely waited in line and we showed up 15 minutes before the show began which in my opinion was fantastic. When I say barely waited I mean the staff greeted us immediately, looked at our vax cards and IDs and because my boyfriend had lost his mask we had to wait 1 minute so the staff could grab us one. The staff were so kind and even though it was super cold they had such a great attitude and welcoming vibe. So thankful for everything at the venue. The people inside were also great and of course the Bartender, fantastic. I could not ask for more from this venue. The set up inside is stunning and our show was amazing! I am from NC but came up to D.C. to see Misterwives and I am so glad it did. A night to remember from start to finish, thank you 9:30 for all you do to keep entertainment alive during these times.
Nathan Faneuf
Nathan Faneuf: Amazing venue, been here twice so far. Would definitely see a show here. Bring ear plugs, very loud, but good sound. Drinks are expensive, 9 dollars for a shot of Jack Daniels. Friendly staff.
Osaurus G
Osaurus G: This is a pretty good venue. Love all the bars and the openness of the floor. The balcony area offers some great views of bands (Bob Mould for me)
Aida mary
Aida mary: Absolutely fantastic venue for a live show! I watched Saint Paul and the Broken Bones plus Thee Sacred Souls play here. The energy was lit! Great location. Great customer service! Would definitely go again. Highly recommend

Union District Oyster Bar & Lounge: what do users think?
Michael Anderson
Michael Anderson: Enjoyed the food and enjoyed the service from the bartenders. My friend and I had never been here and decided to give it a try. The food was great, excellent bartenders and very courteous staff however, management(short Hispanic woman) tonight was horrible. She approached my friend and I tonight while we were at the bar spending a lot of money and reached in to grab a seat at the bar. We kindly told her his wife was on the way in from the car and we were told by her the seats at the bar had a reservation even though we had been sitting there eating and drinking over an hour prior to her coming up to snatch the seat. Who reserves seats at a bar? She had a very nasty attitude and when we kindly said this seat is taken and that my friends wife had walked out to the car, but was coming right back the manager said she was the owner and she had the right to take the seat. I paid our bill and tipped our awesome waiter and then we left. I made sure to tip well tonight, but we will not be back. Again the food is great, but the lady/management on the staff tonight was absolutely horrible with customer service. I really feel bad for your bartenders. They lost a lot of money tonight.
Arlene Fleming
Arlene Fleming: I really didn’t want to post this due to the pandemic and businesses need to stay afloat however, my husbands birthday event was straight out of a “pranked” episode. The only good thing was the drinks. A one hour dinner turned into four hours because of the food. I worked with the chef for weeks preparing for the dinner for ten. The menu was wrong, the orders were wrong. The dessert was burned so the chef offered sugar rice. Then tried to charge full price. I continue to have nightmares about the event and finally decided to leave a review because as much as I want to support businesses, businesses should work to receive support!
Keshia Wideman
Keshia Wideman: We celebrated here on Karaoke Wednesday. What a fun, entertaining, and sociable setting. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the band was lit 🔥. Kareem, and his wife where very nice to us with our 101 year old uncle. Yes, he was so excited about the women , and the music. We felt so good to be among our dmv people. Will definitely be returning.
Rachel Haywood
Rachel Haywood: I think this might be the worst meal I’ve had in my 8 years living in DC. There’s a reason this place was almost empty at 7:30 on a Saturday night in the busy union market neighborhood. The shrimp and grits were comparable to Waffle House, the wine was room temperature (and it was about 80 degrees inside), and the cocktails were watered down and overly sweet. Oysters were fine but some of them were really small. Everyone working there was super nice, except for one guy who, when asked if there was soup available, laughed….it’s listed on your menu - this is not an absurd question to ask. The menu was also pretty pathetic. Several people came in and left after looking at it. This place would be a fantastic candidate for Bar Rescue. It’s got potential but there’s no way in hell I’m coming back given the million other options in DC.
D Harper
D Harper: Great Food. Very Friendly service. Atmosphere was welcoming. 1st floor is great for dinner or watching the games at the bar. 2nd floor gives a more Intimate, chill, lounge feel. Excellent vibe.

The Fox and Hounds Lounge: what do users think?
Brian Redder
Brian Redder: I confirmed with the waitress before ordering that the online menu was valid, then when she brought the check all the prices were 3-8 dollars more. She said the website was old and it didn’t work that way anymore. She refused to correct it even after i pointed out she said at the beginning the website was fine. Very disappointed as the food was not worth the price. My dish went from $10 to $18. Cannot recommend this place.
Jordan Wolfe
Jordan Wolfe: Racist. The bartenders did not believe a friend when asking for their card back, even after multiple white people in the group easily got their cards. Didn’t even apologize after realizing they did in fact have the card. Will not be returning.
M Ramachandran
M Ramachandran: Great very satisfying and fresh American eats. Like a Midwest diner with fresh veggies and simple, pure ingredients. Incredible staff and patio!
dipika
dipika: F&H is a model neighborhood bar. Spacious patio, well priced drinks, friendly owners & service, all around perfect for a no-frills outing. No notes.
Walter Bayer
Walter Bayer: Cool spot for Monday night beers after a rec league game. Staff is super friendly and drinks are well priced.
Response: Thanks for visiting & sharing your experience with us , it will help us serve you better in your next visit…see you soon!
Candace Walls
Candace Walls: Terrible wait staff, random “bar charge on bill” not honoring happy hour when it clearly says on the site happy hour. Too much stuff to list. I will def not be going back
Betty Gonzalez
Betty Gonzalez: Terrible service! Bartender was racist toward my friend and tried to gaslight him into thinking he gave my friend his card back, when the card was on the floor behind the bar. Once they found it, they gave it back to him without an apology of how rude he was acting.

DC Comedy Loft and Bier Baron Tavern: what do users think?
Bethany Hart
Bethany Hart: Came here for a comedy show, and everything was run very well. We had an excellent time. Staff was busy but in high spirits and still making sure you were taken care of. Line moved quickly and we found seats right away! Great experience.
Kevin Markman
Kevin Markman: Great room for comedy, a date, getting together with friends in a basement with many rooms and a cool vibe. Quality comics and new experiences. Good and attentive service.
M planetmike
M planetmike: This is an excellent venue for live performances where the audience can easily see and interact with the performers. However, if you arrive hungry, you will be disappointed. Eat somewhere else before arriving.
Dan S
Dan S: Great time and great service for a weekend show I had tickets to see Pablo Francisco who unfortunately cancelled. The Loft emailed me to offer a showcase of local comedians that would fill the void that the cancellation made. They also gave a full refund and drink voucher tickets. They put us up front and we had a great time listening to several local comedians. Drink service was prompt and polite. All in all we had a great time!
Johnny Five
Johnny Five: My girlfriend and I bought tickets to see Pablo Francisco, and his performance was spectacular and so were the other comedy acts that performed. My 3 star rating is for the venue, Bier Baron Tavern. We arrived an hour early to the show and remained downstairs in the bar area. There were only 2 bartenders on staff and the actual bar was filled to the brim with people. So my girlfriend and I had no choice but to wait in the dining area in the next room near the fireplace. A few other people made their way inside for the show early and were sitting in the dining area as well.. I was sitting there telling my girlfriend if I were running this establishment, I would have servers out here taking drink & food orders, look at all these people sitting in here that would GUARANTEED order drinks and food.. What a missed opportunity for the Bier Baron to capitalize and generate revenues from people just sitting around waiting for a show to start. When it was time for the show, it was a chaotic mess getting upstairs. They had lines from people that were in the bar area downstairs and a massive line of people coming in from outside. Thankfully, the staff knew that the people in the bar area downstairs arrived early, and let them upstairs ahead of the people coming in off the street. The seating upstairs was very crammed. When we got upstairs the server took forever to take our drink / food order and then it took forever to also to bring the drink / food items out to us. The show was practically over by the time we got everything. The problem with Bier Baron Tavern is simple.. SERVICE!!! They just need to work on that Issue...
Ricardo Campbell
Ricardo Campbell: The worst service ever. I will probably never patronize this place again. We were the first ones at the bar and the bartender served others before us. They got their drinks and food before us. The bartender was in no way apologetic for the lack of service she provided and didn’t even greet us. I was in the establishment damn near an hour and a half before I received my food. Mind you there were people who came in long after I did and were served long before I was. They need to teach some of their employees the rules of customer service. Thanks for ruining my night!

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?
Kelvin Ofula
Kelvin Ofula: A typical Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. Strategically positioned. Loved the interior deco and their food. The staff were once again as amazing as always and very helpful. The lady at the souvenir shop was very very helpful and friendly. I loved every single bit here. The ambiance was great and so was the music. Hard Rock is just pure positive vibrations and I always try to visit one when in an area with one. I would totally recommend.
Response: Thank you for the thoughtful 5 star review Kelvin! We hope to welcome you back to the Washington DC cafe soon!
Matt Daniel
Matt Daniel: A classic Hard Rock Cafe in the heart of DC. A great layout within what appears to be a old fashioned restaurant or bar. The rock n roll decor is seamlessly integrated into the Art Deco along the walls. The staff were very hospitable and I recommend making a reservation as you can ask for better seating up stairs or in the back. There was one tv above the bar featuring music videos of various famous rock n roll bands. The pricing was reasonable for the area and the options for food were good with large portions. I’d recommend to stop by if you haven’t been, hope this helps!
Response: Thank you for the thoughtful 5 star review Matan! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
Yogis Dogie
Yogis Dogie: Nice place to visit in DC. Extremely busy but very nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food is very mediocre. Looks great, tastes bland and almost always served cool or cold. The hamburgers have an odd seasoning in them that can be off putting. Fries are good but the portion is pretty small (in relation to the price). The gift shop is well stocked. The rewards program changes its guidelines too frequently and dumps points out too often to be useful. Basically, it’s a nice place to visit, but one visit is plenty.
Response: Dear Yogis, Thank you for visiting HRC DC and taking the time to provide your feedback! Please accept my apologizes for not delivering a 5 star experience, if there is ever anything we can do to assist on your next visit please do not hesitate to reach out to the management team at Washington_DC_Social@hardrock.com Thank you, Sara Lester - Sales & Marketing Manager
Bailey Alexander
Bailey Alexander: This was my third time eating at this particular Hard Rock Cafe! This location really stands out. It’s in the heart of the city so it’s really nice to tour monuments an things and then ride electric scooters to here and park them. Then you can relax and unwind, ride scooters back around to tour more things in DC. The food is always very flavorful and good. The drinks are always perfect. This location has an excellent modern style with lots of arts and things on the walls. I highly recommend checking this place out while in DC.
Response: Hello Bailey Alexander, Thank you so much for the 5 star review! Best regards, Erik Bolme General Manager Hard Rock Cafe Washington D.C.
David Arrimadas
David Arrimadas: Very good Hard Rock restaurant. I have been in lot of them all over the world and this is a very good one. I love the open kitchen concept and the kindness of all the staff. The brownie is delicious and soooo big. Difficult to finish it even when sharing!
Response: Hello David Arrimadas, Thank you so much for your 5 star review! Best regards, Erik Bolme General Manager Hard Rock Cafe Washington D.C.
WorldofDaph
WorldofDaph: I try to go to hard rock in every city I visit and usually it is a pleasant experience but not today. I came to this location and sat down in the bar area waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to take a drink order. Considering how tired and hungry I was I had no energy to even leave. One of he waitresses at the bar looked at me and my fiancé multiple times and never came over. She was behind the bar scratching her back under her shirt and didn’t even wash her hands. When she finally came to our table she pulled out her cellphone to text someone. Having been a service manager in restaurant for years I was completely dumbfounded at the disrespect. I’m a pretty mild mannered fair person but this Waitress was awful. I will say the kitchen staff was doing a great job. They were pushing food out but the servers just weren’t running food which caused it to just sit in the window. The receipt said the waitress name was Sara. All I know is Sara needs to be demoted to hostess or let go. Upon leaving I brought these things to the managers attention but I could tell she didn’t really care. She offered to give me her card. That’s won’t do much at all. I watch the manager stand on the expo line and watch plates die in the window. Saturdays can be quite tough and she was probably tired and over it herself. All in all I will never return to this location.
Response: Hello WorldofDaph, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit. What you experienced is absolutely not the type of authentic Hard Rock atmosphere we strive to provide. I apologize that your concerns were not addressed when you brought them to the attention of the manager on duty, we will make sure they are addressed immediately. If you have the time to discuss your experience in further detail you can reach our management team at: Washington_DC_Social@hardrock.com I do appreciate your recognition of the Kitchen Staff and will happily share your praise with them! I hope that we can connect further on email. Thank you, Sara Lester - Sales & Marketing Manager
Rachel Cook
Rachel Cook: We had a very large group with reservations. They were not prepared. Some of the staff was great, but others were not. The food, for those who actually got food, was mediocre. If this continues, the DC Hard Rock will suffer the same fate as others around the country...permanently closed. It is disappointing 😞
Response: Dear Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I hope that you can accept my apologizes for not being prepared and delivering a 5 star experience. I am glad that there were a few staff members that were great. We are grateful for your patronage and will continue to strive for improvement so we can better tend to your group on the next visit. Thank you, Sara Lester - Sales & Marketing Manager

Ellipse Rooftop Bar: what do users think?
Morris Jones
Morris Jones: The good - This is a nice place to enjoy time with a friend...great views. Food offerings were on par for a roof top bar. The "beef" - The bar area is small...enough for hotel guests to enjoy and groups of two. The bar size and the bar service are not satisfactory for handling a group or a table with more than 3. Do not go expecting table service (none). You must go to the small bar to order everything...paying for a table or a round of drinks was a challenge. Paying for a $40 shot of whiskey served in plastic glassware (?)...I did enjoy my table guests, the view and the weather. I expected better service...
Donovan Craig
Donovan Craig: Nice rooftop with a bit of a view, the atmosphere was very relaxed, just wish they were open to the public more as we saw multiple days where they were closed for private events.
Rich Opalinski
Rich Opalinski: Weather was perfect while we stayed, both bartenders were attentive, great views
M planetmike
M planetmike: (Update 2022 June) Arrive early if you want a seat. Conveniently located to McPherson Square. There is a happy hour. However due to its relatively small footprint and its connection to the hotel it is often reserved and unavailable. Recommend calling ahead to verify it is open. It is a refreshing spot on summer days.
Rachel Cipkins
Rachel Cipkins: Perfect place to unwind after a day at the national mall
Adara Ney
Adara Ney: A perfect place for an after work drink to watch the sunset and soak up nice weather. Great for group events too! I hosted a team happy hour with 20-30 and had a great experience. Great food (and prices!) on the catering menu and Brittany did a fantastic job coordinating the event.
David Cuevas
David Cuevas: they never used real tequila on my tequila cocktai, I got a headache before I finished it.
Brenda-renee Vance
Brenda-renee Vance: I enjoyed myself. The bartender was amazing. My drinks was good beginning to end.
Mike Rucki
Mike Rucki: Overpriced drinks, very limited bar selection, and not enough bartenders on a cramped rooftop. A decent view earns an extra star, but I cannot recommend this spot.
