Morris American Bar: what do users think?

Martin Schmidt: nice atmosphere, slightly too much air-con , or we as European are not use it ?.. We ordered 2 espresso martini, they were average, So much vodka , and coffee was not strong enough. For my taste But their original cocktail were Bom !!! Jamaican twist on Manhattan super tasty . La Reina was soooo good , if you live tequila try this . Overall i would definitely go back

Bradley Popkin: Swanky and cozy bar with two floors. Spent some time here with family and friends. Great cocktail selection and service. We were greeted quickly and everyone was friendly. I really appreciated the full-size Johnnie Walker figure outside lol.

Neil Patel: The staff are super friendly and accommodating. We ordered off the menu and were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked our drinks. The mocktails and zero proof drinks were great too!

Andrea Martin: Good drinks, good service. It’s across the street from where Google currently shows. Has an outdoor patio that feels much different than the indoor vibe

Nirupa P: Good experience. We did the Halloween special & the drinks were good. We both got 3 drinks each & they were great. Our favorite was Noche de sueno & dia de muertos. Food menu were also limited. We got the devil eggs & they were good.

Adam Pusateri: Morris is without a doubt an absolute gem of a cocktail bar and my personal favorite. The bartenders are not only inventive but also thoroughly well-versed in classics and contemporary drinks. You can tell the whole team is proud of their bar, and it really shows. The seasonal menu is their own impressive creation, but make no mistake, they gladly take requests and offer new suggestions. Inside is a time capsule of a classic bar. The colors, décor, lighting, music – it is the perfect place for relaxing drinks. Outside is shaded and casual, exactly what you want for a group of friends. Other bars even the often lauded “Bests in DC” have fallen short of what Morris is consistently doing here in terms of quality, knowledge, skill, and service. You get way more than what you pay for here. As amazing as it all is, it is not at all stuffy. Everybody is friendly, easygoing, and enjoys what they are doing. This review is long overdue and could not be more well deserved. Morris often surprises, never disappoints, and after all their extra hard work during the pandemic, I cannot wait to sit at the actual bar again. Until then, cheers!

Mohan Sun: Our favorite cocktail joint in town! The drinks are top-notch and reasonably-priced. We’ve been to other “good” places that charged $16 for a to-go cup. Morris beats that in so many aspects and it never disappoints. Everyone works there are super nice and knowledgeable. Doug, Ian and Rhine are skillful bartenders who can fix you up with almost any requests. They usually have seasonal cocktail menus and recently added low & non-alcohol drinks which is perfect for a person like me who can’t drink too much. I got Strawberry Kitty last time and it’s sooo good! If you want something refreshing, you NEED to get it! Please support their business. They work hard to stay afloat while continue to innovate great drinks during this difficult time.

Exiles Bar: what do users think?

Molly Crabb: Exiles has been the go-to UNC bar during the tournament (and hopefully forever?) and going to all the games has been a BLAST. The waiters were SO accommodating and pushed through a packed room to deliver food with a smile. We had tech issues with the TV and they had multiple people come and try to fix and figured it out quickly! My 64 year old mom even had a good time and said she’d go back.

Shaina Eckles: Great drinks, fantastic atmosphere & super rad bathroom art.

Brian Webster: Loved this DC area Buffalonian bar! Exiles is a great location with awesome service, great food, and impressive drink selection. I got the wings (crispy and great) paired with a couple of Labatts, as well as a Catalonian Spritz that was refreshing. This place would be amazing to watch the Bills this fall!

Amit S: The 5th best bar on u street apparently. I still have to find the first four. The whole team is rocking. Good time guaranteed. Love you all!!!

Christopher Williams: A wonderful neighborhood bar. The owners and staff will make you feel at home. Nice outdoor patio with a “hook game.”

Shahnaz Punjani: Nice atmosphere. Friendly with great service. Just what I was looking for. A place to have a drink and chill.

Alain Parcan: As a sworn Stetsonite, I never wanted to admit I liked exiles as much as I did but if it isn’t one of the best bars in dc to get a beer and decent bar food, I dunno what is

Brookland's Finest Bar and Kitchen: what do users think?

Bobbi DeAnda: The cheese grits were the best I’ve ever had in my life! Service was great. Good food. Cheap drinks. Glad we went!

René und Céline Gürtler: Sensationally good burgers (including pulled pork) and beers. Super location in a wonderful neighborhood. A visit to this restaurant is absolutely recommended.

Brandon Sousa: I just love this neighborhood staple. Great standard pub fare is a bit elevated, and complimented with awesome specials over the week (check their website). I like sitting at the bar and enjoying their cocktails and beer, and what makes this place special is the friendly and quick service. It’s owned by a neighborhood guy and you can tell the place has the feel of a well-loved and well taken care of local hangout. Brookland is lucky to have it.

Lamina Richardson: My first time dinning and i was very satisfied. The shrimp and grits was really good however the serving size could be tad bit bigger for the price. The Oreo cheesecake was also really good.

Paul G: Incredible vibe and great food. Can’t recommend the onion rings enough. And a dog friendly patio with water bowls is enough to keep me coming back over and over again!

Njeri Jarvis: Food is pretty much always good. Sometimes the service gets wonky. No one is touching their waffles, chicken and fries for brunch. Their salad are good as well.

Solly's: what do users think?

Aubri O'Connor: Hands down my all time favorite dive-bar in DC, and I say that with tons of love and respect. There is no pretension here, and all are welcome, you won’t go broke drinking, you can bring your to-go food, and there’s always something fun to do! Aside from their massive, excellent cover patio that lets you watch all the fun of U St, there are also two bars inside. Downstairs is where all the regulars begin and end their night, where the owners are just as likely to be behind the bar as the employees. Upstairs they hold events almost every night of the week - from comedy, to trivia, to bands, to plays. And of course Kostume Karaoke every Thursday, which is a crazy night of doing shots with the KJs on your birthday, and meeting crazy strangers wearing tiaras or judo gis (provided by the karaoke hosts) to sing! The walls tell the history of the bar, especially behind the bar and in the bathrooms. But the bartenders and regulars will tell you just as easily themselves - and what a long crazy history it’s been! Ask them about when the car crashed through the window, or the Caps won the Cup, or the neighbors almost sent it all crashing down during an ill-fated renovation. This is no a fancy dress up joint - although no one thinks twice if you walk in looking your best. You come here to be comfortable, to have well poured, affordable drinks, to have the bartenders become your besties, to meet your new best friends just chilling at the bar.

Scott Hughes: Solly’s is a perfect two-story dive bar. Memorabilia galore, cheap whiskey, and great service. There’s an ATM inside, Big Buck Hunter arcade game in the corner, and always amazing music playing. Ask for Antoine when you arrive.

Edward Kennedy: Went here before a show at the 930 club. Matt the bartender was great. He really knows his stuff. Def will stop by here again.

Anthony Oakes Comedian: They have great drinks upstairs. I think Quinton is the bar tender. Awesome Starr Struck Comedy shows. Good times were had.

Igor at skvltd.media: Fantastic and consistent U st bar with awesome staff, drink specials, and food!

Harriet M: A great dive bar! Friendly bartender, good prices and most importantly ice cold beer! Stayed in the neighbourhood during a recent trip to DC and come to Solly’s twice. Would recommend!

C Yager: Great craft beer bar, knowledgeable bar staff, 50 beers on tap, wish they had less national/big craft beers on tap and more local. Extensive beer bottle list with hard to find beers, especially good Belgium beer selection. Fast friendly service, hard to notice from the street. Definitely recommend a visit if you love beer.

Jonathan Isett: Top notch selection of craft beers in DC. Also one of the most extensive whiskey/ bourbon catalogs around. Atmosphere is good, and the food comes through. The homemade tots are a must have. Great location on 14th st close to Logan circle. Stop and have a beer or two.

Rossukon Jandech: Beer Brunch Event on June 25th, 2022Great event, great employee, great service.Meet famous brewers there as well, so awesome.

Ben's Next Door: what do users think?

E Gilbert: My best friend came into town and we want to do something fun so we went to Ben Next Door we had a ball. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious 😋. The music selection was on point to match the unlimited mimosas that came in 3 types cranberry, pineapple, or orange juice. I will definitely be visiting again soon. The only thing I did not like were the bathrooms they were not being kept up at all I went to the two located towards the back and the back of the toilet was missing from one hopefully this will be fixed. But there was toilet paper, running water, and soap so I was good. I definitely recommend checking out the brunch here.

Makeda Fox: The food was sooo good !! I got the shrimp and grits, along with the bread pudding for dessert. Very flavorful, the vibe was amazing. Our waiter Kash was very entertaining, attentive and funny. BEST waiter EVER. 10/10 I recommend!!

JENNii: Good spot for a casual Sunday brunch with friends. It’s right next to the famous ben’s chili bowl on U street. They food and service was good as well. I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Toshia Brown: Very nice vibe, excellent food, no mambo sauce or cornbread muffins but the kale was so scrumptious and tender; seasoned to perfection

Gaelle Claude: The service may be a bit slow but their food is pretty good. I tried their burger and it was amazing! The picture may seem basic but it was bomb! I’ve been there on occasions where I ordered the chicken and waffle, which I would rate 7/10 because the chicken is a bit salty. I loved the cocktail I ordered I believe it’s called a chi-chi colada.. amazing! 10/10. The fish and grits is pretty good, I would rate it 8/10. My friend says the salmon meal was decent but she didn’t enjoy the sugar on her sweet potato fries. Due to slow service over all experience is 7/10

Josephs Boy: I really enjoyed this place & the owner was really nice. I enjoyed the history of the restaurant that was shared. I sat outside it was live but I enjoyed it. The Jerk Pasta was delicious and the mambo wings were the perfect appetizer (u can always tell when people take pride in what they serve). I will definitely be back my next trip to DC.

ajia brown: Ate brunch here and the food and atmosphere was perfect. Black owned restaurant filled with lots of people the line is always LONG

Crimson DC: what do users think?

Tahoma Lewis: Love the casual atmosphere! Our server was polite and attentive. The food was good. The pickled deviled eggs were esthetically pleasing and delicious. I had never had them before, and was not disappointed.

Arielle H: I have only had experience on the rooftop. We actually stumbled upon it one day. We walked in looking to just sit at the bar and one of the employees said why don’t you check out the rooftop and we said heck yeah! The views are great, the service is fairly fast, and the drinks were even better. - Will definitely be returning in the midst of summer.

S. K. Hill: Finally, I was able to visit Crimson and I loved it. From the awe-inspiring rooftop view of downtown DC to the very cool Whiskey Bar on the lower level, Crimson hit the ball out of the park. I loved their old-bay wings, kettle chips and ciders (apple and pineapple). It is in a great location in Chinatown. I will definitely come back here again and again. Easily FIVE STARS.

BA R: Chinatown in D.C. Lucky for us the only place opened after 9 P.M on a Tuesday night. Great ambience. Good food. And they have a Whiskey Bar downstairs w/ live music. 10/10 we’ll be back.

Matthew Copper: When other dining establishments in the neighborhood had at least an hour wait, we stumbled upon Crimson. The seated us quickly and the service and food was wonderful! Will definitely be returning!!

Lavada Walker: Well well well, how I just stumbled upon Brunch on The View. I was very undecided between Shrimp and Grits or the Brioche French Toast. I decided to go with the Shrimp and Grits, Wow!!!! It was sooooo darn good. If you want some good eats and drinks with a beautiful view hit up Crimson Saturday and Sunday 12pm-3pm

Dhruv Jaiswal: Great whiskey bar in the heart of DC ! A must try if you love whiskeys, they have all kinds of collections from all sorts for regions in the country and world ! The food is great as well ! Do try out the place and the rooftop in the great weather

Barcode: what do users think?

Coco Eva: AbsolutelyLoved it the veggieOmelette was delicious the toast and wedges 😋, the drinks were great according to my girls. My OJ was just fine and the waffles was nice. Check my girl out she had big fun.

N. Moore: Brunch music and food were good, parking was tricky, but had a nice time. Bottomless mimosas a plus!

Isaiah I-Say-ah Walker: The decor is underwhelming, we were seated in a long double sided booth, due to size of are party. However, the bench cushion had many visible burn holes making it very unattractive! We were then moved to long table with high chairs, that was much better for our group. The customer service was basic with no enthusiasm! I will say the food was good, not great! My Sangria had too much ice in it, making it slightly watery. However, my mimosa was perfect and had me nice and tipsy by time I left!

Tatyana Morena: I came here from out of town for my birthday weekend and this place did not disappoint. The pizza is amazing and the service is great!! The blue magic cocktail is chefs kiss. I had to compliment to the owner. The ambiance is amazing. The DJ is awesome , a very mature and elegant experience.

GOD SON: been to their Sunday brunch twice and it’s the best!!! its always super packed, please go early to have the best experience. And if they send you an email saying to make a reservation, do it! That way you don’t have to wait too long outside. The DJs are always good. Plays hip hop, dancehall, Afro beats. The day party is a lot of fun.

Honeycomb31 T: Went for Brunch. Good food, great music, nice atmosphere and affordable. Brunch included 2 drinks. Parking was scarce as it always is in DC. I highly recommend this place!

María Marshall: I enjoyed visiting Barcode with friends. We were welcomed and enjoyed the outdoor seating to freely smoke our hooka and cigars. The ladies provided excellent service. In the inside you can enjoy a medley of adult libations to go with the sounds of the music. If you are a local DMV artist this is a great place to have your album release party. The young and grown converge here for fun.

Boundary Stone: what do users think?

Mỹ Phan: The best customer service experience since Covid started! I got the Honey Hot Chicken for my entrée, which was amazing. As for my drink, I’m pretty specific as to what I like. I asked for the sweetest drink on the menu and my waitress debated with the bartender to create the best drink that fitted me perfectly. Highly recommend this spot!!

Paul Donaldson: Bounty Stone is a charming neighborhood bar that serves good food and great service. My son had a steak and I had the fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Eat inside or outside on the front patio.

Scott Jordan: They have impeccable service, an equally impeccable spirits selection. Kayla our was amazing and made my trip to DC worth it. The food and the drinks were on point. If you are in NW DC check it out. It is well worth the trip.

Kenny Myers: Excellent burger and pretty good beer selection! Also had a fantastic peach cobbler for dessert last time I went. Update: Brunch here is also really really good! Had the honey hot serial Benny and the cinnamon roll was delicious.

Brittany M: Love this place! Great food, bartenders are cool. Hubby and I got free mimosas with our entree. One of the best low key brunch spots in DC

The Pub & The People: what do users think?

Ethan Z: Great Restaurant!! This Restaurant is in the city area and offers indoor and outside seating!! The menu is rather small but the food and drinks were great!! The wait staff were friendly and professional!! The restaurant was also clean and well presented. The bathrooms are coolly decorated too with people sending pictures in of there family pets in to be featured on the wall. Overall great!

Becky Gomez: Such a great spot for a lonely, taveling vegetarian! 😂 Bar service was superb and a delightful vibe. Great beer selection. Perfect shishitos 🌶️ and tempura cauliflower!

AJ Hendricks: Pub and the People is our favorite outdoor spot in Bloomingdale. The beers they have on tap are great, and the food (specifically, the Black Bean burger and "The Heidi" Fried Chicken sandwich) is very solid. The tempura cauliflower sauce is also amazing. Matt, the manager, is very friendly and just a welcoming face to see when you come in. This radiates through the whole staff. The happy hour specials are awesome, and run for most of the day on the weekends. Enjoy!

Parker Kelley: Very great experience here ! We’ve passed this place numerous times and I’ve always said I wanted to try it. So, we finally did ! I ordered the Heidi chicken sandwich which was very tasteful. It came with a side of fries which were also very good. The service was great - 3 or 4 people continuously came to check on us. I’d definitely eat here again.

Bobbi DeAnda: Such a great brunch spot! The outdoor patio is pup friendly (and the bathroom inside is a must see for dog lovers haha). The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was TO DIE FOR. So yummy! Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Callum Wayman: A great local pub for people in Eckington and Bloomingdale. The pub offers a great selection of beers, wine, and cocktails as well as an excellent food menu (try the tempura cauliflower, chicken sandwich, and the fries). In the winter they offer group seating around large fire pits for small gatherings. I found that to be a huge boon when trying to gather friends outdoors while being mindful of COVID during the winter. The staff are nice and helpful.

Amy Burdon: Had dinner and played trivia - food menu was fairly short but with lots of tasty items - I enjoyed the curry wings and gazpacho. Staff were friendly, happy hour drinks were a good deal. All positives!

Service Bar DC: what do users think?

Elias Chelala: Awesome location with a cool vibe. They have an enormous selection of cocktails and delicious food. Make sure to try their spicy fried chicken sandwich which is very juicy and crispy. If you plan on visiting make sure to bring proof of vaccination. The prices are reasonable for the area and the service was decent! I will visit service bar again!

Kara Clark: Small bar with great food and drinks. Fried chicken sandwiches are stacked and cooked perfectly with seasons. Drinks menu are listed from light to strong. I do wish the food options was more but overall happy with the pick! Drinks absolutely great! Your bill will add up however, it was a bit pricey but overall great food. The bar is a bit small but they have outdoor eating areas as well.

Monica R S: The fried chicken is soooooo good! Food was overall delicious. The old fashioned was good. Service was good too. We sat outside and it was sufficiently heated.

Rebecca Kaufman: One of my favorite places to get cocktails in DC. They have such a great and wide selection of different specialty cocktails with plenty of different liquor options to choose from. They also always have seasonal options that change often as well as a great selection of small bar foods.

Lani: Casual bar with good drinks. You can only sit 1 hour and 30 mins. The food was about a 6/10, we got burgers and mozzarella balls.

Kelly Wiley: What a great little place with excellent drinks and food! Cullen was super knowledgeable about the menu items and the specifics of each drink! They have stellar homeade ginger beer!

Mark Orebiyi: On the search for the best Fried Chicken Sandwich in the DMV my team and I came across Service Bar. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are known for their cocktails but this sandwich was devine. Solid portion as well (fries come separately). I would put them in my top 5 (and this was our 21 place). Our server, Cullen, was extremely informative and accommodating. I will be back.

Blake Arrington: Good drinks and great chicken The fried chicken meal is the best bang for you buck coming with 3 sides and 2 chicken thighs for $20, I definitely recommend it Make sure you try the original fried chicken. The Nashville hot is good but not as good as the original which has a honey glaze. The atmosphere is a very bar feel inside. If you sit outside they did a good job of turning the street into a nice seating area but it is very loud with cars driving past Would come again to just get the chicken to go

Nik Kei: Great time and wonderful bartender. Nice environment. Local whiskeys and a few locals brews. Food was good.

Joe Burkett: Came in today with 20+ people after being disrespected next door at Tune Inn. Staff here were extremely accommodating to our situation. Good beer, good food and good people. 5 star easy for how we were treated. Food was tasty and for those saying overpriced, it’s rare you get any decent sandwich or burger for less than prices here nowadays. Especially a popular DC location. The fries were real good too.

Scott Hayes: Very cool decor. Started in the late 1960’s, this a great restaurant. Our party enjoyed the brunch on Sunday. Eggs Benedict was excellent. My favorite was the tomato basil scramble. Blueberry pancakes were also positively reviewed

chparatrooper88: Deviled eggs are very good. Late lunch was good. A bit pricey even for D.C.

Rikk Lewis: Liked the food. We had a Reuben and salad. Service was top notch. No complaints at all. Be aware that they play CNN on their TVs versus other quality news shows (seems to be the case DC wide). Also, be prepared to pay a bit more than the food is worth, they are proud of it. Would visit again.

Jeremy Brake-Zacherl: First time here, was pretty busy but got a table right away! Drinks came quickly. Burgers are really good! We had Cali burger and spicy burger and we enjoyed both of them! If you live in town or visiting, I highly suggest checking them out!

Round Robin Bar: what do users think?

Caitlin Cordova: The Round Robin Bar is the perfect place to have a cocktail during the holidays when you’re downtown to see the National Christmas Tree. Located inside the Willard Hotel, which is a work of art in itself, the circular Bar serves cocktails and a full menu of classic options. Cocktails ~$20 apiece. Happy hour is crowded, but there are plenty of standing options around the bar itself, and additional seating options in the hallway of the hotel’s lobby. Our bar table service was quick and efficient. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Annie Wilson: Attentive service, beautiful warm atmosphere and classic drinks - a delicious experience. The mint julep is spectacular, not fussy, and the staff are cheerful, knowledgeable and enjoyable to watch keeping bar. We went here to celebrate an occasion but we also went to see the national Christmas tree - great location for this. The historical aspects of the bar make a great addition to the experience.

Paul Terry Services Lawn Care & Landscaping: Christina and her staff are - in a word - AMAZING. Kind, caring and beyond gracious. Special requests are a not a problem for this crew. For the most unique and special celebration, look no further. Grateful for this staff.

Alex Holston: Fantastic. In the 1800’s Henry Clay brought the Mint Julep to Washington DC featuring it at this bar. Rich in history they still make this favorite May drink the same way. Makers Mark. Rose Simple Syrup. Muddle mint. Crushed ice. Our bar tender was fantastic. One of the best. We will return.

Patsy Agpalza: The Round Robin Bar at the Willard Hotel in D.C. is quickly becoming a favorite spot to have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. The Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon is absolutely delicious. I have ordered it twice now and have been very happy each time. The Bartender, Elias has worked there for 30 years and is absolutely phenomenal. Ask him to make you any drink and you will not be disappointed.

Matthew: A classy bar in a historic hotel only steps away from where Ulysses S Grant coined the terms lobbyists. Great bartenders who know how to serve a proper glass of whiskey.

Ben: Fantastic bar and even better bartenders! Great locally sourced cocktails and beers. Would highly recommend if in the Chinatown area.

Cami Pease: Great craft beer selection and cocktails. The menu rotates frequently which keeps things fresh. Fun ambiance and a wonderful staff.

Sojung Na: Nice place So great cocktail And Taxes are included in a drink Great cocktail

Noah McKee: Cozy basement bar, all local drafts and spirits made on the east coast from North Carolina and up. No name brand drinks for the most part besides a few limited staples like patron, black label, jack Daniels, etc. Friendly regulars, small but great staff, good place for happy groups. Beer list constantly changes because they try to rotate a lot of local drafts. Stop in for sure if in DC

Janessa: Private party for our staff and the ambiance was beautiful. Perfect spot to rent out. The sandwiches and potato salad was great. Lots of beverage options. 🍾🍹🍸🍷🥃

Jessica Dalzell: Tasty beverages. Trivia on Sunday was great! The bartender and trivia host were both extremely nice.

Joy Meldshisterz: Good place for some drinking sessions with some group of friends. The place is in a basement which is nice (kind of discreet drinking style) if you want to just simply chill out and relax.

Old Ebbitt Grill: what do users think?

Natalia Mednikov: There are straightforward American-style food. This restaurant is best known for its huge old-school oyster bar—think lots of dark wood, brass fixtures, and big mirrors. That oysters was fantastic and fresh. We’ve enjoyed also cheese sampler, fried calamari and baked oysters. Everything they do is absolutely delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. We were happy to choose this great restaurant to end our busy day in Washington, D.C.

Aditya Karandikar: Had an awesome time here as a late night/ early next day stop. The food was quite nice and fairly refined, especially at such a late hour! The atmosphere was popping as well which made it more enjoyable. Service was very friendly and they had great oysters. Fresh complimentary bread never hurts either…

Sam M: This place is one of the more famous restaurants in DC. I visited this spot during brunch and it was packed. I would definitely recommend making a reservation for both weekend dinner and brunch services. I started with New England clam chowder and some salad dish. For entrees, I got eggs benedict and catfish. All the dishes I ordered were pretty good. But, I definitely enjoyed their desserts more even though I was pretty full before it. Their key lime pie and salted caramel bread pudding were both amazing! Staffs were very accommodating and attentive during the whole service. I’m planning to visit this restaurant and will get some oysters and burgers next time. I heard they are pretty good. I definitely recommend this place to celebrate any special occasions.

Suzi Figueroa: Wow, wow and wow! A friend recommended this establishment to me when I asked for dining recommendations for my upcoming DC trip. I am so glad I listened. The warm and inviting ambiance matched the service. And the food? Oh my goodness. Delicious. My SO ordered meatloaf. Who knew meatloaf could take on a such an extraordinary presentation.

Elaine Viegas: AMAZING! There is no other word to describe it. Since we arrived until we paid the service was perfect. I couldn’t be more happy for their food, service and kindness on my birthdays lunch. We didn’t mention that it was my birthday but they saw on my profile and as soon as I arrived they asked to confirm and no only brought my desert with a candle and a cute chocolate happy birthday place on the top. Our server was amazing, she arrived singing happy birthday, was very classy and really surprised me. Thank you for the excellence in your service. BTW the food it’s top quality, my oysters and shrimps were fresh abs really tasteful.

Jelena M: Great food, great price, great service! The waiter we had was so nice, knowledgeable, and friendly! The calamari was very good, but watch out for the spicy peppers in it . My salad was yummy! I usually never order salads, but I am glad I did as the dressing was citrusy and refreshing! They also give warm bread and butter while you wait 😍

Dirty Habit: what do users think?

Olivia M. Wilson: Went to Dirty Habit for brunch and it was good! The fruit was really fresh and the potatoes were crisp. However, the service was decent and they only have bar seats available. Maybe that’s because we arrived an hour before they closed for the afternoon. Either way, the food made up for it. I would definitely like to try their dinner menu.

Blvknative: Going to dirty habit for Valentines Day was top tier! The ambience was everything I was expecting! The deal as far as food and drinks were top of the line! Truly a captivating experience for my company and I.

Katlin B.: Best French onion soup I ever had! The vibe is trendy and the crowd is very eclectic. The food and drinks were amazing! Will return for soup. Thanks to the awesome host and staff! There is also a nice outdoor area as well.

MS Tabu Winslow Morris, MBA: I attended the COE Leadership Summit and Policy Conference at the Hyatt. I commuted from Towson, Maryland to Washington, D.C. every day. I would rush in to the breakfast buffet before our sessions started. Your staff was friendly and seated me right away. Even helped me have seat close to the entrance so that I could exit quickly to get to my session after eating. Your restaurant is clean and you have a good selection of food on the menu. Thank you for the good food and friendly service.

Chanda Rice: The service here is excellent. I had multiple servers checking on me to ensure I had everything I needed. The bread with dinner is soft, warm and delicious. The weekend all you can eat breakfast has a nice assortment of options and juices.

Kim Nguyen: Great hotel restaurant! Usually hotel restaurants are just eh. Appreciate the interesting menu with some organic and local ingredients... and even a sustainable catch of the day dish. Enjoyed the fluffy omelet, crispy hash browns and cheese plate for room service.

Aaron WF: Service is friendly. The place is clean and the hamburger I has was very good.

Jackie American Bistro: what do users think?

Jay patel: Ambiance: the decor and the bar and the location was amazing. It was a nationals game that day and it still wasn’t crowded. Food: we ordered a bunch of apps and sides and it worked out perfectly. The bread with the black garlic butter was a great starter . I would skip on the broccolini, the mushroom croquettes, and the burrata. Definitely recommend the double fried chicken, mash potatoes, and the fries . Did not have the opportunity to try any entrees but next time. Drinks: watermelon tequila and the old fashion were worth it for happy hour. Service: the service wasn’t that good. The waiter never came to check if we needed anything after we got our food. Had to flag him down for everything. I think he forgot about us. He wasn’t well versed in the menu either. Otherwise would give it 5 stars.

Jasmin Grammick: We celebrated a birthday at brunch and the atmosphere and service couldn’t have been better. Our server Heather was top notch and went above and beyond for us. She really made the experience that much better. I have nothing but greats things to say. Will certainly be retuning!

Ashea W.: I’m in town from Texas visiting family to bring in the New Year. I’m so glad we chose Jackie! The NYE Prix Fixe menu was absolutely amazing. More specifically, the Sweet Potato Dumplings, Duck PB & J, and Veal Katsu won me over! Our waitress, Dani, was an absolute delight. She was spot on with her recommendations and very knowledgeable about menu. I know for a fact I will be back! Pictured: Duck PB&J, Veal Katsu, Chocolate Bread pudding.

Apollo Ryans: Food was tasty. Great vibe and atomosphere. Well lighted. The art work and decor of the establishment is just delightful. They have a DJ that mixes some good tunes on the weekends. Not too loud but just at the right volume. My only complaint, is the food is a bit over priced. That being said, still worth the visit.

Itsjustmenai Naima: Zack was our server on NYE and he was awesome. Great knowledge of the menu and great customer service. food was delicious. I will definitely be back soon,

Rebecca C: Fantastic waiter and good service. My burger was incredible and a great portion, but the charcuterie board was tiny for the price. I would recommend to friends but with the caveat that it’s pretty expensive per person. Ambiance was interesting. It was a Saturday evening and we were the only people inside. Old movies playing on two tvs near our tables, when another group came in at the very end of the evening the staff made a commotion about trying to find seating for them and they ended up squishing them right next to us even though the rest of the place was empty.

Denson Liquor Bar: what do users think?

TexCat: Wanted to stop into a bar after a night tour of DC before heading back to our Airbnb. Happened upon Denson Liquor Bar - mightily glad we did! What a great little hidden gem! Friendly, personable staff, great drinks and service. Awesome cozy ambiance. Highly recommend

Benjamin G: Was visiting DC and wanted somewhere for after dinner drinks on a Friday night. Found this place. A little hidden but worth the walk down. Cool atmosphere, nice vibe and mix of people. The bartenders were great. They both make a mean old fashioned! True mixologists.

Austin Shaheen: Excellent service and the place has a really cool vibe! My fiancé and I were here on a Saturday evening for her birthday and they treated us to a complimentary champagne, very nice touch. We’ll definitely be back and recommend our friends visit here

Dane Fergusson: MUST GO! Walk down the stairs to step back in time to the speakeasy era. Just the setting is worth the trip; but, the drinks are incredible. Add to this the world class bartender Dinesha. Yeah, I said it. World Class! Excellent drinks, suggestions for other drinks, great conversation, asking our preferences to tweak to our tastes, made us feel like we were her only customers... and oh yeah the place got slammed with an overflow crowd... to busy now? No way! She still had time for hugs and pictures, before we left!

Matt Noble: What a great spot this is! Very old school and dim lighting, as if you are back in time at a speak easy. Drinks were all great and so was the music. If we are ever in DC again we will be sure to come back to Denson! Highly recommend to stop in for a drink if you haven’t already!

Brendan F: There is something about walking into a below street level bar that brings a feeling of vintage nostaligia. The staff is filled with smiles, conversation and great drink ideas and the food is unique and delicious. It does get crowded but that should tell you about the quality of the place. Definitely worth a visit.
