Cara Nicole Stock: Really mind gentlemen here! Came in with zero knowledge starting a personal repurposing project and I was helped gently by the two guys who were working (I wish I got their names). Will definitely return for any wood making projects I take on in the future!
Leonid Matvyeyev: So there I was in this store, I needed nothing and yet many $ later I walked out thinking back if I needed any more. I bought some stuff that I did not need but wanted, a good selection of tools and the staff was very helpful. I have not been to many woodcraft and that other Woodworking store but they all seem as good as the others.
Vince Charming: Knowledgeable staff, plenty of class options, exotic wood, and hardware for DIYers like me! Similar to a Rockler, in a good way.
Ed Skinner: Changed a backordered item, and picked up three pen kits for Summer birthday presents. Amazing inventory! Great service!
Stacey F.: Very helpful staff and really love ability to use advanced tools for workshop fee and have an experienced person to help - really helped!! Note that most small supplies are a bit more expensive than Home Depot basics, but I suspect probably higher quality or more durable than the big box store. If you are able to, definitely support these guys!

Jodi Kostelnik: Adam did such a great job making some furniture for my retail shop. He created custom pieces that worked for my exact needs for the space (moveable card wall + front nesting tables with uneven legs due to a front step by the window). The quality of his work was impeccable and he was very easy to work with, not to mention a quick turnaround when needed.

Christy P: Adam Godet is a true craftsman who takes pride in his woodworking. I contacted him when I was looking to update my TV console but was having a hard time finding anything which fit the small space well and suited my style. Adam was very easy to work with and created a quality, handcrafted piece of furniture I will treasure for a long time. Juliette B.: Pascal repaired damage done to our wood bed frame during a move. He was prompt, professional and communicative and his work was so good you couldn’t even see where the wood had been damaged. We were so happy with the work that we kept his info and reached back out when we wanted to restore an old coffee table that really needed some tlc. Again Pascal provided clear communication about our options and even gave me the opportunity to come out to the shop to review finish colors in person. He was very patient with my silly questions and we are delighted with the finished product. He is a true craftsman and I would highly recommend him.
Elissa Redmiles: Pascal was absolutely amazing. He came to our house to fix an issue with a cabinet door we’d been dealing with for nearly a year. He instantly recognized the issue and quickly and generously fixed it.
Jody Brookover: Pascal repaired a century old all wood dining room chair that had split at a glued joint. He was perfectly on time and the repair looked better than I had originally hoped.

Arjan P: Both Chris and Amy took all the time in the world to recommend options for a domino joiner and vacuum hoses. From cheaper options to more expensive. Due to Covid-19 it was curb side pickup. I love this store even though I have only been in there twice. They also showed great appreciation for my business!

Mike Mikus: I am a local contractor and have been doing business at Woodcraft Rockville for many years. The level of customer service and product knowledge is second to none. Several times I have consulted the staff regarding various projects and have always received great advice. I have also required various tool repairs. Ralph ,Matt and Chris have always gone over and above in their efforts to get me up and running again ALWAYS. It is very refreshing to to do business with people who make you feel valued as a customer and also a friend. Being in the construction industry I deal with many other suppliers but always choose Woodcraft first. My Daughter, much to my delight, wanted to build a table for her new place as a father daughter project. She and I were given some great ideas and material/hardware to choose from after leaving she said "What a Great place they were so helpful".

maikel barrosocruz: The shop looked really nice, first time over and would have loved to look around some more. Upon walking in I was barely greeted, I asked for the SawStops and after a few seconds of giving me directions to the show room, one of the employees finally decided to take me there and show it to me. We spent a few minutes playing with it, but I had already made my mind to buy it. All this time no one told me that there was none in stock at their store, of course no willing to sell the floor model either. What’s the point of showing me a model if I can’t buy one and the shipping takes over a month to the store. Long story short was a waste of a trip, to see some employees with no desire to talk to me and tell me I was better of ordering online for an internet xtra $100. I really like the store, and maybe I didn’t look like a savvy wood worker or who knows, but the costumer service was definitely lacking. If you are in the market for saw stop, do yourself a favor and order online, save the gas and definitely the trip.

Olivia K: Quick service, unique atmosphere, reliable stock of small gifts, and hit-or-miss selection of art and furniture! I agree with some reviewers that the staff seemed uppety and perhaps too good to welcome customers.
Yarden Golan: I rarely give reviews. But GoodWood is hands down the best vintage furniture store in the area. Above their great items, they have the most amazing costumer service iv’e encountered. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommended!
Natalie: While the selection is solidly 4+ star, the customer service is anything but. I concur with the reviewer who said the staff barely acknowledged their existence. Once the staff had deigned to answer my question, the two ladies behind the counter gave me that once-over, up-and-down glance before sneering and going back to talking to each other. I’m just… speechless. On principle, I won’t give my money to adults who behave like high school “mean girls.” It’s a shame, since I used to visit this store 10 years ago when I first moved to DC and looked forward to one day having my own rowhouse to furnish. Now that I do, I won’t be shopping here.

Quang Nguyen: Beautiful products. Excellent workmanship. Perfectly fits for your casual or formal dinning rooms. You can also order custom made tables, shelves, bars ... all uniquely created to your tastes. Sometimes, I just come and hang around to touch the beautiful wood!!! Love the place and Nicho has excellent tastes in furniture designs.
Justin H: Fantastic place for custom wood furniture. Massive warehouse full of different size/shape/grain planks to choose your custom to able from. We wanted something solid wood that would last forever and were so happy we found this place. See the pictures for before and finished product. They sealed the table and had numerous leg styles to pick from. We were even able to get a side table from the same slab. Great family business where customer service is their first priority. Highly recommend you check them out!
Angie Rhinehart: We came upon this store when we were out looking for new bedroom furniture. While we didn’t find that, we did find so much more! Don’t let the outside deter you, a treasure trove awaits you inside. They carry such unique and reasonably priced pieces. Plan to spend a good bit of time because there is so much to see that it takes several times around the warehouse to take it all in. The best part of this place is the customer service. Furniture shopping can feel like being fed to the wolves, but not here with Nico. He was present to offer help but not in your face and he was incredibly friendly. We found so many things we want for our home but picked up a few to start and are going back for more soon. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I visited last week to pick up a small dining set and we were pleased with the craftsmanship and options. We will definitely return. Highly recommended for those looking for quality pieces.
Laura Ruth: R-Home sells the most amazing furniture. It’s a hidden gem! We bought a large dining table and 10 chairs earlier this year and couldn’t be happier with the final product. Everyone who sees our house immediately notices the table. It’s not the cheapest but it’s solidly made, family-owned, and unique!! We just ordered a coffee table because we can’t get enough of their beautiful furniture! Highly, highly recommend.

Jessica Darby: Goodwin House is a happy, safe community providing top notch care to my grandparents. The team takes their jobs seriously and my grandmother and grandfather are happy and very well cared for. As a frequent visitor, everyone I interact with is cheerful and greets me with a smile. The facilities are beautiful and the living quarters, both apartments for independent living and second floor nursing wing rooms, are worthy of being called home.

M M King: The R-Home Furniture team is amazing! From selection of the wood to designing the table, bench seating, and end table, the service and support were first class! The finished products were great!
Jessica Kropf: This is a good store to visit if you like solid wood furniture. They have some items available to carry away same day, and offer custom orders as well. They also have a lot of large wood slabs on hand to select and custom finish for live edge tables. The location at 2936-B Prosperity Ave. is scheduled to close and consolidate with the Alexandria location (possibly by July 2022?). They have live edge wood slabs there still, along with rustic reclaimed cabinets and furniture, tansu style chests, and tables and chairs. Items are discounted at that location currently until the move, or visit the main location in Alexandria for a wider selection of furniture and decorative items.
John Crumbley: My wife and I have purchased several items from Niko. Stools, chairs, patio furniture, and other knick/knacks. You name it, they have it. He and his family are lovely, fair, and produce quality furniture. We always consider R-Home first whenever we are in the market for a new furniture item. Strongly recommended...
Arthur Lord: Great quality, family-owned business, with even better customer service. We were very happy with the dining room table and chairs that we bought. After we used the table daily for a year, we noticed the wood started to separate at one end-- we contacted the owner (Bram) and he happily fixed the table, free of charge. Even gave us a loaner for the days it was in their shop. They picked it up and dropped it off around our schedule. It looks and works great now. Talk about standing behind your products. Would definitely shop here again.

We really liked what we found in the store and it was hard to decide what table and chairs to purchase for our new deck. We decided on a teak table and chairs that we are very happy with and look great! Bram was wonderful and delivered exactly on time and we are very pleased with the selection, price and service. We will likely be back!

James Stuart: Place was nice and staff where good,but prices are ridiculous. I would say at least 10-15 % higher than Rockler. I would shop there again but there needs to be more of a price reduction for me to buy my wood turning blanks there
Jeremy Pooler: Always very welcome and helpful with any questions. Call ahead if you are traveling to make sure that they have what you want. They are still getting walnut slats that work great for trim and other things. I used them to make cover a plywood dog crate
Thomas Fialkovich (TEFTOM): Fantastic selection for the hobbyist and serious woodworker alike. Friendly, efficient and knowledgable staff. A true gem of a store.
Ron McDowell: This place is a woodworkers dream! They have any tool any species of wood and they can cut it to size! Me and my wife were here last month to pick out some walnut for a cutting board. It turned out perfectly! Thank you woodcraft!

Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.
