Leonid Matvyeyev: So there I was in this store, I needed nothing and yet many $ later I walked out thinking back if I needed any more. I bought some stuff that I did not need but wanted, a good selection of tools and the staff was very helpful. I have not been to many woodcraft and that other Woodworking store but they all seem as good as the others.
Vince Charming: Knowledgeable staff, plenty of class options, exotic wood, and hardware for DIYers like me! Similar to a Rockler, in a good way.
Ed Skinner: Changed a backordered item, and picked up three pen kits for Summer birthday presents. Amazing inventory! Great service!
Stacey F.: Very helpful staff and really love ability to use advanced tools for workshop fee and have an experienced person to help - really helped!! Note that most small supplies are a bit more expensive than Home Depot basics, but I suspect probably higher quality or more durable than the big box store. If you are able to, definitely support these guys!

Jodi Kostelnik: Adam did such a great job making some furniture for my retail shop. He created custom pieces that worked for my exact needs for the space (moveable card wall + front nesting tables with uneven legs due to a front step by the window). The quality of his work was impeccable and he was very easy to work with, not to mention a quick turnaround when needed.
Christy P: Adam Godet is a true craftsman who takes pride in his woodworking. I contacted him when I was looking to update my TV console but was having a hard time finding anything which fit the small space well and suited my style. Juliette B.: Pascal repaired damage done to our wood bed frame during a move. He was prompt, professional and communicative and his work was so good you couldn’t even see where the wood had been damaged. We were so happy with the work that we kept his info and reached back out when we wanted to restore an old coffee table that really needed some tlc. Again Pascal provided clear communication about our options and even gave me the opportunity to come out to the shop to review finish colors in person. He was very patient with my silly questions and we are delighted with the finished product. He is a true craftsman and I would highly recommend him.
Elissa Redmiles: Pascal was absolutely amazing. He came to our house to fix an issue with a cabinet door we’d been dealing with for nearly a year. He instantly recognized the issue and quickly and generously fixed it.

It is very refreshing to to do business with people who make you feel valued as a customer and also a friend. My Daughter, much to my delight, wanted to build a table for her new place as a father daughter project. Angie Rhinehart: We came upon this store when we were out looking for new bedroom furniture. While we didn’t find that, we did find so much more! Don’t let the outside deter you, a treasure trove awaits you inside. They carry such unique and reasonably priced pieces. Plan to spend a good bit of time because there is so much to see that it takes several times around the warehouse to take it all in. The best part of this place is the customer service. Furniture shopping can feel like being fed to the wolves, but not here with Nico. He was present to offer help but not in your face and he was incredibly friendly. We found so many things we want for our home but picked up a few to start and are going back for more soon. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Jessica Darby: Goodwin House is a happy, safe community providing top notch care to my grandparents. The team takes their jobs seriously and my grandmother and grandfather are happy and very well cared for. As a frequent visitor, everyone I interact with is cheerful and greets me with a smile. The facilities are beautiful and the living quarters, both apartments for independent living and second floor nursing wing rooms, are worthy of being called home.

M M King: The R-Home Furniture team is amazing! From selection of the wood to designing the table, bench seating, and end table, the service and support were first class! The finished products were great!
Jessica Kropf: This is a good store to visit if you like solid wood furniture. They have some items available to carry away same day, and offer custom orders as well. They also have a lot of large wood slabs on hand to select and custom finish for live edge tables. The location at 2936-B Prosperity Ave. is scheduled to close and consolidate with the Alexandria location (possibly by July 2022?). They have live edge wood slabs there still, along with rustic reclaimed cabinets and furniture, tansu style chests, and tables and chairs. Items are discounted at that location currently until the move, or visit the main location in Alexandria for a wider selection of furniture and decorative items.

After we used the table daily for a year, we noticed the wood started to separate at one end-- we contacted the owner (Bram) and he happily fixed the table, free of charge. Even gave us a loaner for the days it was in their shop. They picked it up and dropped it off around our schedule. It looks and works great now. Talk about standing behind your products. Would definitely shop here again.

Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!
