Sam Lederman: We were visiting Georgetown for the day and decided to go for a little shopping. When we saw the vans storefront we knew we had to go in. While entering we were greeted loudly and proudly, knowing that the workers Cameron and Kevin were there for our help and support. The service was very top notch and made for an amazing experience. One associate, who’s mere first day working at the store helped us to get our new shoes. He was extremely kind and for his first day did amazing not only with the service but also with the sociability. At the checkout we were sold very kindly on an aerosol shoe protector and bags which the profit went to autism awareness. Also we were greeted with a journal and charging cord as a reward for our purchases. Overall, amazing experience and service. We could have spent our entire day there. Thank you Cameron and Kevin! We appreciate your hard work!!!!

Shelby Cummings: I went to Van’s tonight to exchange an item that didn’t fit. There was a 12 person max. So I waited patiently and two people left about 5 minutes later. I let them go by me and then I went in. The lady working there was like “do you know what corona virus is??? Do you know what rules are?? You don’t come in this store unless I say you can, now get out” so I left. Then she said “now you can come in”. I wasn’t being disrespectful, I just waited until the people left so I could go in and shop. I felt so appalled that I didn’t even do the exchange for what I wanted and I just got store credit to use at a different location. I know working in retail is a hard industry to work in, but being rude and mean to cooperating and kind customers isn’t cool.
Nicholas Montalto: Good store tucked in the mall to fulfill your kids desire for the latest Vans fad with shoes. We found better prices ordering them from DSW online, but if you need the shoes now, this is still a great place to get them. Their employees are super friendly anf helpful and they do a great job managing many folks at a time.

I purchased many many prodcuts from them before, including 2 beanies, a couple of t shirts, orginial vans shoes. My sister also loves their shoes, as it is very neat and durable. This vans store ALWAYS gave good sales, plus the staffs are very hip to the current fashion and helpful, they often tell you the hidden deals. Highly recommend. everyone needs to have a pair of vans

Van Lavoy Jacobs: It has my name on it so whats not to like. Typical Vans store. Good selection of vans products. Some items could be found cheaper online but others you will only find there or ordering direct from vans website. The man helping us with shoes was extremely helpful and polite.

I ordered online and paid for a shoe, went to pick up in store within the next 3 days but within that time they returned the order saying I didn’t show up in 2 days. I was charged for it. The worst part is the sales rep made me come to the store all the way, even after I called and confirmed and specifically asked him if I would be STILL able to pick it up without it cancelling the order and he said yes. This is the worst experience I ever had!
Nora Johnson: Very clean and well kept Vans location. Went in looking for a specific Pro Skate shoe in a specific color for my husband. I was helped within 30 seconds and spent less than 5 minutes total in the store. The little packets of stickers for sale was a brilliant idea, I ended up buying two.

Elizabeth O'Connor: As a valued customer for over twenty years I am saddened to say I had a very unpleasant experience at a local Vans store. On Friday August 12, 2016 I entered the Vans store at the Columbia Mall, in Columbia, Maryland. As a dedicated Vans fan I visited this store in order to purchase six pairs of Vans sneakers for my upcoming wedding. After trying on the shoes, I asked the one and only representative to check the inventory for the additional five pairs. The salesman returned to say the store only had three of my six pairs of shoes. In asking how I could purchase the additional shoes the visit took a turn for the worse. The first salesman asked another store representative, who had been in the back, to discuss the matter with me. This representative was very curt with me and ultimately I believe was so unpleasant because I was trying to use a Friends and Family coupon on my purchase. This man, later identified as Alan R. solved the problem by saying he would provide a raincheck for my items at the sale price when the items came back into inventory. I was pleased with this resolve, however just a few moments after I purchased the three pairs of shoes this salesman said, “Can we have a human conversation now?” He continued to make a variety of rude comments including his disdain for my attempt at using the coupon and not taking his word that the raincheck would be extended. Above all, he identified himself as the manager of the store and suggested I go to another store to find the remaining three pairs of shoes. I would have hoped that my significant purchase of six pairs of shoes would have increased my overall experience at the store, but in fact I will certainly rethink my shoe store options the next time I need shoes.

George Mayo: Wide variety specialty shoe store selling. Vans is a top of the line shoe with varying degrees of comfort and use. Staff are very helpful and have a lot of knowledge of their inventory. This is an outlet store so many shoes that are at this location you cannot find at a regular Vans store. Price point is no different than at a regular store as well but my theory with clothing apparel is that you get what you pay for. Quality and comfort do come at a price so it is well worth the cost. This outlet store is definitely worth your time and your money.
chris noel: All I wear are vans, 12 pairs and counting.. so this is my go to spot... the buy one get 1/2 off the second is a great deal, the employees know the product and go above and beyond to make sure you leave with what you want.
Ryan H: We came to the store on Monday to purchase shoes for my daughter. On Tuesday we discovered one of the sets was 2 left shoes. These things happen so we didn’t think much of it. On Tuesday night I attempted to come to the store to replace the shoes. It was exactly 7pm. They wouldn’t help is because they close at 7 although the entire staff was still in the store. To be honest, I was outright mad. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t they help us. It would have taken 5 minutes max to fix the problem. I wasn’t happy to say the least. Today, Wednesday, we returned the shoes. No issues. The store was nice and TJ was ready to fix the problem. They couldn’t the right shoe so TJ told my daughter to pick any shoe. Problem solved. If it wasn’t for TJ, my feelings for Vans probably would not have been so high. Thanks TJ for solving the problem. 3 days in a row to Vans is not my cup of tea as parent. :-)

Alexander Yim: The retail store is located on Level 1. Inside, it is clean, spacious, and has wide selections of sneakers, skateboarding shoes, athletic shoes, t-shirts, and other accessories for men, women, and children. In the past, someone told me that back in 1982, Sean Penn wore a pair of shoes made by Vans and appeared in the movie, “Fast Times in Ridgemont High.” Unfortunately, I could not find a pair of men’s “ComfyCush” shoe size 6EEE. The smallest pair of shoe size available was 6.5 (which was big for my feet).

Mya Marie: I can’t believe people are still this friendly in this day and time. Both the guy and girl where so helpful and not once made me feel like I was bothering them. After my first pair of shoes I went back for a 2nd pair. Normally I would have ordered online but the staff here made such a great impression it was easier to go to the store.
Francis Shanks: They did not pressure me. They did not follow me around the store. Once I decided what I wanted to get they immediately got my size. They even assisted me with lacing up their shoes. Great customer service

Willow Wright: Despite the high prices, you get what you pay for. The shoes are very nice and can last for at least a year with heavy wear. They also have a very nice selection of shoes for a smaller sized store. The staff is also very nice and are there to help when you need it.
M E: Love vans but there so over priced these days and whitemarsh store has a very small variety...would give 5 stars if there was a larger selection.very informative staff,friendly and clean.

Marnecie Gorham: I had my first experience at this location about a month ago, as I had a return from an online purchase. The store manager was quite friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The store was clean and very organized! While there, I learned that DSW has a shoe donation incentive for $10 a pair, for gently worn shoes. I plan on visiting this DSW quite frequently! ❤️

Marilyn Guix: 15 minutes ago I went with my mother to buy shoes for her and for me ... My mother asked for help from an employee who was there, but she yelled at my mother in Spanish what she wants, very rudely. Seriously with that bad service I will definitely not return to this store again ...

Keane Putera: Simply the best sneaker shop in Washington. Amazing selection of Adidas limited releases. The owner is very kind. Me and my family bought three pair of shoes and he gave us a special discount. Definitely a must visit for Adidas sneaker head.

Gerald Brown: Our waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious and visually appealing. We had Caesar Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, a Crab Cale Sandwich with fries and onion rings (fantastic!!!), Filet Mignon and Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Very satisfying meal.

We were vendors at one of their social events, very friendly, food excellent and atmosphere is great. I would recommend and I will be back. The appetizer portions are just right for me.

Renita Lake: I knew it would be good, but HERMAGERD! The steak was like butta. I got the steak and cake (fancy surf and turf). It was a steak and a crab cake. The cake had too kuch filler and not enough Old Bay, in my opinionation, but otherwise delicious. The wine was fab-o, and our waiter was wonderful, knowledgeable, and had a great wit and sense of humor. Imma go back~
