Capital Hill Flats: what do users think?

Murray Campbell: Great location, great apartment with everything we needed, close to all the sights, cafes and grocery store. Apartment was spotlessly clean! Would highly recommend!

Lexie Fields: Sweet little place that has nice apartments. They get a few people that stay there as a hotel for the place and cots. Over all it is a great place.

Eunice Picado: Amazing location, beautiful property and friendly efficient staff! Strongly recommended!

Jenn Quitoriano: The Capital Hills Flats studio I had was great and perfect for what I needed on my first trip to DC. Room: The studio was clean, modern and included a very comfortable bed, a kitchenette, plenty closet space, good sized bathroom with tub, and a nice writing desk that viewed the cute neighborhood. The kitchenette included dishes, silverware, a Kuereg coffee machine, etc. Location: The flat was walking distance from the Capitol and National Mall. Everyday of my stay I was easily able to walk to all the different museums, memorials and monuments. Also, it is not far from Trader Joe’s or CVS if you need to pick up some snacks or maybe thing you may have forgotten or need. On the way there, you can pass by other local shops and boutiques. Other Accommodations: Laundry machines and detergent are available for use in the basement. This was very convienient, especially for those that don’t want to pack a lot of clothes. Your own hamper was provided as well in your room. Lastly, the staff was very accommodating and was willing to assist me in any questions or requests I had. To conclude, I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit DC.

kevin webb: Awesome place. Alot to do and easy access to metro

Andrea Gubert: I would like to know if you charge fees to receive orders placed over the internet for guests.thanks,Andréa Gubert

Tricia “Cocobeauty” Prioleau: Beautiful place

hugo romo: (Translated by Google) Very good location Nice neighborhood The decoration is with good taste. (Original) Muy buena ubicación. Barrio agradable. La decoracion es con buen gusto.

Heaven on Washington Fully Furnished Apartments: what do users think?

Linda Steinke: Having lived in Penn Quarter and recently moved I was back for a visit and wanted to stay in the area. I found Pelican Residences in the Lansburgh the perfect location. This 2 BR 2 BA apartment was fully furnished. The corner unit I had had great view down 7th and E streets. Within walking distance to my favorite restaurants, Gregory’s coffee as well as the Smithsonian museums, the National Mall and the Capitol and White House. The apartment was clean and the Pelican staff are extremely responsive down to replacing light bulbs. Would I stay again? YES!!!!

Tony Staman: Perfect location for this high quality apartment, right next to Metro Archives station so getting in from Reagan airport was very easy. Location puts you within a short distance of most of the major museums, if you did not want to walk they have a DC Bike Share dock right next to the apartment. Gym was very nice, pool was slightly above average, residents were very friendly. Front desk staff was also very friendly and was very helpful with the few questions we had. The bathrooms in our room were very clean and had beautiful glass door showers. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others looking for a nice quality hotel in a great location. Only thing bad I can say was that the beds in both rooms sat very low to the ground which was weird and carpet appeared a little dirty in some areas but neither of these comments would stop me from recommending this apartment.

Mary Ann Madejas: I had a very pleasant stay overall. The place was very quiet, clean, and had plenty of pots and pans and extra linens. I also appreciate the timely reply and the responsiveness of the host. I wanted to expand my stay by one night after i had checked in, and the host was able to accommodate very quickly.

Tyler Nixon: I stayed in this location in a one-bedroom apartment for almost 3 weeks on an extended business trip to the District. In addition to an excellent location, convenient to just about anywhere in the District and close to all of the federal facilities, monuments and museums, the room was absolutely first-rate. The kitchen and all amenities were up to date and fully-appointed, with everything one would need as though at home. The apartment was also spacious but quite cozy too. The bed was extremely comfortable and they also provided additional linens, as well as a set of towels and washcloths. The TV had both cable and internet streaming applications (Netflix - you could use your own account). The washer and dryer system was excellent and like new. The closet space was also remarkable. The free coffee and hot drinks machines at both entrances was a really nice amenity, especially on chilly days. The entrance security, with key fobs that activate the doors and are required to use the elevators, as well as the manned receptions desks at the entrances (except maybe a few hours in the late night) were reassuring for the security of the facility but also did not inhibit access with ease for anyone staying there. The elevators were numerous and though there were some issues on the first day I was there, the rest of the time they functioned without a hitch, and were numerous and speedy enough that I never had to wait for more than a few seconds to catch an elevator either up to or down from any of the upper floors. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodations for a longer stay in DC and wanting all of the amenities of home.

jocelyn Luterte: Great place to stay in DC. Cleanliness and layout are great. Everything was very smooth and easy to deal with! Would definitely recommend! The heated pool is a bonus!

Shai Ruyod: "a great place to call "home". I could see myself actually living in a community such as this. Plus there is an indoor heated pool that is well kept up daily. Pet friendly too. It has exactly what I want and that is whatever I need, in walking distance. Highly recommended!!

Chinedu Nwaghanata: Location was great, in the middle of downtown DC, nearby many landmarks. Apartment was in the 11th floor with great lighting and view. The apartment had a kitchen fully stocked with cooking supplies and the bedroom and living room had tvs with Netflix and cable. Whole apartment was immmaculate. Parking was 16 dollars a day.

Chris Peace: Walking Distance to everything!! Restaurants, Malls or Grocery Stores. The apartment was also wonderful it is indeed Heaven on Washington during our stay.

Whyle Furnished Apartments: what do users think?

Sonia Khan: I spent three months at Whyle and can highly recommend the building to others. Gorgeous views, great facilities, and super convenient location for a short stay in the city, i.e. whole foods, core power yoga, and nail salon right below the building. Shannon and team went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay during a hybrid work environment. Thank you!!

Amy S: Great location with easy access to the Metro. Excellent food options nearby in easy walking distance. It was a nice walk on a cooler morning down to Chinatown and there is plenty of transportation available for a quick ride to the museums on the Mall. The apartment itself was clean and decorated tastefully. I found the management to be friendly and helpful, and they were highly responsive. I recommend this location.

Ian Carter: I almost hesitate to write this review for fear of it becoming too popular and difficult for me to book in the future... alas, the Whyle is the perfect choice for a short term (30+ day) stay in the DC area. Amazing location above a Whole Foods and near tons of restaurants and bars and transit, with a fully furnished super comfortable unit (sound proofed as well!) and the best staff you could ask for. OH, and the gym and rooftop are icing on the cake. Nearly perfection!

Ozan Saracoglu: İ spent the last 2+ months at Whyle and enjoyed every minute of it. İ often do long-term stays when i travel for work because i like to feel like İ am at home. My apartment at Whyle was so comfortable, and the staff made my transition to the city quick and easy. İ look forward to my next project in DC. İ will be staying at Whyle for sure!

Alok Jain: I stayed at Whyle furnished apartments for nearly five months. The apartment was sunny and had a view of the Washington Monument. The interior design is aesthetically pleasing, refreshing and functional. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment is nicely furnished and has good quality amenities. They have Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers, Mauviel pots and pans, OXO kitchen utensils and Scott Zwiesel glasses. They have kept bar accessories which I found very novel that allows to make your own signature cocktails. Whole Food store is just downstairs and the property is walking distance to many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Whyle’s GM Shannon and Manager Shane were very helpful during my stay. All in all - enjoyed my stay at Whyle and will stay again if visiting DC.

Abel Legesse: I can’t say enough good things about my time at Whyle! I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel! The staff was welcoming and friendly from the day I moved in till the day I moved out. The furnishings are high-end, the location is ideal, and the place is tranquil despite being in the middle of a bustling city. I highly recommend it!

Nina L: My friends and I stayed here for the Spring in this super cute two-bedroom apartment. Fab design + A private view of the National Monument from our living room = VIBE! Thanks for helping make the DC experience what it was!

Capitol Hill Stay - Veteran Owned Furnished Housing Temporary Extended Stay Washington DC Since 1997: what do users think?

Katie Wilkes: I stayed here for a month while house hunting. Fabulous, convenient location to everything you need. One of the best parts about the house is the private little courtyard/patio space out front. Stunning in the springtime. Capitol Hill Stay was attentive and extremely communicative the entire time. The neighbors were also so kind and helpful. But I have to say, it was the sincere thoughtfulness of the people who run this hospitality group that exceeded my expectations. Tragically, I lose my pup of 16 year unexpectedly while here (we were grateful to enjoy many days of gorgeous weather on that patio together). Upon check out and kind conversation with Phil, one of the staff members, the team let me know they had made a donation to a rescue organization in my pup’s honor. It brought me to tears. Stay with them if you can- I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Zach Powell: My wife and I have never been to a big city before. Coming from a small town in Kentucky, we were worried about coming to D.C. However, the owner (Brian) and Louise has been absolutely wonderful! The apartment was in a very safe and very upscale neighborhood. We were able to pay for a secure parking spot as well. Our neighbors were quiet and working professionals (always gone). If there were any questions, someone always answered them promptly via chat or text! I cannot reccomend Capitol Hill stay enough! If we are ever in DC again, we will be staying with them!

Leslie Vargas: My friend and I came to Washington DC for a girls trip to visit her daughter and my son, who is a student there. We loved the apartment from the first second we stepped into as it instantly felt like a home away from home. It is beautiful and well furnished with high ceilings and tall windows. The apartment is immaculate and every detail is attended to, including a coffee pot that makes delicious coffee and quality linens that are so comfortable after a long day of seeing the sites. It is located in a safe neighborhood and is a nice walk to The Eastern Market, independently owned boutiques, restaurants, a CVS and a wine shop. The apartment is so inviting that we decided to cook there one night and it was so convenient that the The Eastern Market is full of lovely fresh vegetables, fresh meats and a bakery. Outside the market were street vendors with quality goods to sell which was so fun to browse. I have found that where you stay can make such a difference in the tone of a vacation and this one certainly did. It was a such a wonderful time and I’m looking so forward to visiting DC with my husband and staying there again.

leo sokolskiy: Great place to stay in Washington. Walking distance to the National Mall monuments and museums. Very comfortable and quiet location, parking spot is a great plus if you are driving in. Kitchen has all the utensils as well as washer and dryer. Brian and Luis are very accommodating and responsive.

Capitol Hill Fully Furnished Apartments: what do users think?

mburr: We stayed in DC three nights on M St SW. The apartment worked out great for us as our son lives several blocks away in the Wharf area. Apartment was clean and well furnished. The cleaning person was there when we arrived early with out bags and was completely accommodating and helpful. All aspects or our stay were great--will do it again.

Mary Ann Lim-Madejas: We had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The room was nice and bright and great for getting work done in the day. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the room. We were easily able to walk to the national mall as well as the waterfront. We also enjoyed using the gym and having a glass of wine on the rooftop.

Shai Ruyod: Excellent place!! Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. The staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others.

Carillon House Apartments: what do users think?

Deepti Bhatt: It is so far my best experience to live in Carillon House apartments. Meriem, the leasing consultant was quite helpful during my entire move in process. She is always there to help and support and I am very thankful to her. I will highly recommend carillon apartment to those looking for safe, convenient and reasonable rent with great amenities. It has got nice neighbourhood and rooftop view is spectacular. The apartments are spacious, nicely renovated, with decent kitchen and big closets. I am very much satisfied living in this wonderful place.

Emre Deniz: I am living in The Carillon House Apartments for a year now. Overall, I can say that I enjoy living here. First of all, the location is convenient. There are more than enough grocery shopping and dinner place options within a reach. Bus stop is just across the building and it takes you to downtown and to a couple nearest metro stations in minutes. Georgetown University is 15-20 min walk. Also, these neighborhoods (Glover Park and Georgetown) are very bikeable. Though the Carillon is on sort of a hill, it is still conveniently bikeable there. However, being located on a hill is also a plus because the view is fantastic! You can see almost every part of DC from the roof top and possibly even from your apartment. Common areas in the building are clean and well maintained. I would say that heating and cooling are adequate. However, you cannot have them at the same time (6months heating during colder seasons; 6 months cooling during warmer seasons). Hot water is almost always available both in the shower and in the faucets. Staff is very nice, kind and helpful. Leasing office does its job. Ask for Mariem, she will try her best to accommodate your requests about finding the best apartment that suits your needs. Although I moved in DC from abroad and The Carillon was my first apartment here right from the first day, moving-in process was smooth. My first unit here was a furnished studio. The room was spacious. The furnitures and utilities were clean and sufficient for a normal living. Later, I have moved to an unfurnished 1-bedroom. It was refurbished and I bought many of my furniture and stuff easily from either IKEA (15 miles) or nearby T.J. Maxx (1.5 miles). The rooms take in a lot of sun light and very bright. Therefore, I recommend living in The Carillon House Apartments and two of my friends already moved in after me!

Sara Youssef: clean, spacious apartment, in good area with access to many amenities. Meriem in the office was incredibly friendly and helpful during move in process, and touring of the place. would highly recommend

Catherine Rusch: From leasing staff, concierges, and maintenance, I have had a very positive experience at Carillon House. They continue to make improvements throughout the building and everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

The Flats at Dupont Circle Apartments: what do users think?

ashleigh barbee: My husband and I loved living at Flats! The location is perfect! So close to shopping, hotels, metro/busses and a lot of good food!!! All of the office staff are super friendly and helpful. The concierge staff are super welcoming and friendly. The maintenance team members are polite and do a great job addressing any apartment and community needs. Our apartment faced the National Cathedral and the view was AMAZING!! We got a lot of sunlight in our unit--which we loved. The amenities at Flats are convenient, clean and nice! I would recommend living here and I know Cristina and Tray would be more than willing to help you find the perfect unit at Flats!

Hope Renata: This place is beautiful and the leasing office are extremely conscientious. It’s the perfect apartment complex for a young person. I love using the gym; I haven’t used the pool yet, but look forward to it. My room has a gorgeous view.

Carlos Rivero: I stated in The Flats for about a year with two roommates. The building is very clean and up to date, and the staff were really helpful with any issues I had. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the outdoor BBQ/pool but the gym is larger than most apartment gyms and the washer/dryer room is full of units. Would definitely live there again

Nancy Nie-Fuller: I love living here! The concierge staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Super convenient located 5 mins away from the Dupont metro and 15 mins away from Foggy Bottom. Great amenities like pool, gym and laundry in building. I moved from NYC so this is really haven for me just having someone to fix your lights the next day you put in a service request. It is pet friendly and even though I am not a pet owner I enjoy looking at those cute creatures coming in and out of the building.

7th Flats: what do users think?

Anna Driscoll: We recently moved into 7th Flats after an extensive apartment search, and so far we love it! After so many frustrating experiences trying to tour apartments, Michaela was so nice to work with. She was communicative and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable of the property and the units we wanted to view. However, the best part of 7th Flats is the quality of the space you get for the price...it is truly a great deal for the Shaw neighborhood!

Marie: I love living here the staff is always very attentive especially everyone at the front desk! They are all very nice and welcoming! The maintenance is also great Danny and the rest of the staff are always quick and accommodating when anything goes wrong! Plus you’re practically on U street, and can walk everywhere or catch the metro next door!

Joseph Chang: Great location and even better staff! One of my best leasing experience in DC. I have to say that there were many kind people working the building, especially Kevin who helped me and a friend have a smooth transition. His professionalism and charisma made the apartment hunting experience awesome!

Myracle Jarmon - Moore: 7th flats is perfect for any young person living in the city. It is right next to some great restaurants, a hospital, and a university. As a student this is the best place for me to live without worrying about transportation.

Kymberly NDC: 7th Flats is my dream come true. As a kid I always wanted to live in a posh city dwelling with a concierge. In addition to the subway next door and uber/lyft for pickup, I feel like a superstar :) Thanks 7th Flats!

Arielle M. (Mermaid): Great place to live. Staff is very friendly

Rhode Island Row: what do users think?

Keena Blackmon: During my time at Rhode Island Row I experienced some highs and some lows (hence the four stars) but a highlight was the concierge desk with Dominique. She always greeted me and my guests with a friendly smile and she was always willing to assist with any of my needs or concerns. When I saw her interaction with the other residents it was the same pleasant energy, with a “Hello” followed by a smile. She went above and beyond the job by assisting me with packages or simply telling me great places to visit in her hometown. Rhode Island Row found a gem with Dominique and although I’m no longer a resident, she has left a lasting memory with me.

cara adams: I always get a ton of packages delivered from my job and it can be quite a lot sometimes. I always fear my packages are going to get lost or stolen , Dominique the concierge goes above and beyond to ensure my packages are logged and accounted for. As a resident I appreciate the extra attention to detail, especially during holiday seasons. She’s always welcoming and friendly, exceptional customer service and effective communicator.

Chawndra: The staff is amazing! The apartments are very lovely! I enjoy it here. It has all the amenities I wanted! It is clean. Located in a great place with plenty of things to do! I’M IN HERE!!!

Patricia Ward: This is a lovely place to visit, many businesses to note, dmv, CVS, eateries, and nice sitting areas to take in the scenery! One can then venture to the top of the hill to more stores, Homedepot, Ross dress for less and pop into GIant and more.

Victoria Daniels: I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the concierge at this establishment. In my multiple years of residency here I have not met a more professional and personable concierge than Dominique. She is hospitable and goes the extra mile, by genuinely taking an interest in not just the support requested as a resident but who you are as a person. Even when navigating a larger crowd, in the lobby the other day, she moved with efficiency and effectiveness. Her effort is truly valued.

Jackie Venable: The staff is amazing.I’ve lived here for almost 2 years. These are great apartment. The maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues.I would recommend it to others .

Larry Covert: Living here has been awesome. I love the manager, Chase. He is always willing to help everyone. Even notice so many improvements around the building since he started. Great living experience for sure!

Michael Dixon: Love staying here. Chase is super dope always goes above for tenants. I can always come to him and he will be available and nice to us.

Nigel Hall: I have been fortunate to have moved in several months ago and feel I need to add my voice to the reviews! I have to agree that the staff here are some of the most incredible people I have ever met going over and beyond to help anyone that walks into the office, resident or potentials. The building far exceed expectations in terms of what you get and the units are beautiful. The neighbours I have met so far are great and I hope this turns into a community that cares for each other as well as the development. Well done leasing team!

Christopher Newton: Today I’m writing this review to express my excitement and gratitude to the wonderful staff at maple view flats. The leasing staff made me feel extremely welcome they made my application process as easy as possible. I applied pressure about the process and they never cracked they constantly produced results. I truly can say they care about whoever walks in to apply. I’m happy to say that I was approved and move in this weekend and can’t wait! And again you guys were amazing thanks again.

Eliot on 4th: what do users think?

Trevor Alexander: The people that work at the building are awesome and make it a great spot to live. It’s in a great location, is really new, and offers great amenities. Special shout-out to Ndidi, she took care of me from day one and is always a fun time to talk to.

Maria Hurt: I really enjoyed my time living in this building. Location is amazing and hard to beat. My one bedroom was perfect and super comfortable space-wise. Nothing about the building is causing me to move out – just moving into a bigger place with my fiancé. Leasing office is average. Ndidi was impossible to get a hold of while I was applying, so maybe try to get a different leasing agent at the beginning. But it was worth it to keep bugging and eventually got through it and moved in. William has taken over for my move-out information and has been responsive and helpful so far. Only maintenance issue I ran into was a time period where a marijuana smell was coming through the bathroom and hallways. I will say the building handled it well and got it resolved quickly. Other than that, I did not have any issues with the apartment itself. One con is that lately there have been a lot of mandatory DC water shut offs at really inconvenient times (i.e. 8:00pm for eight hours, not great) with very short notice. It would be helpful to get more notice, but fully aware that can be out of the building’s control most of the time. Overall the building is really nice to live in. Amenities and location are great and the rooftop pool was always nice in the summer. Concierge is fine too. They are there 24/7 and always helpful with packages. All in all, good building to live in if you want a luxury building close to the city/Wharf!

Christoph von Löwenstern: Staff was very helpful and facilitated to the maximum extend my move to Washington from Germany.Nice apartments and common areas are in a very good shape.Wonderful rooftop area - very relaxing.

Shay Norman: Got the privilege of working with Ndidi during the leasing process. Because I was moving in the middle of winter from the mid-west the process of located a living space from another state was very stressful. Ndidi was amazing during the entire process by extending me patience, honesty, and expertise. Truly appreciated working with her.

Trellis House: what do users think?

Yeni Oyekola: When I first moved in, I sent a couple of videos of the apartment to my parents and I remember my dad saying “you live in an hotel” Trellis is a beautiful apartment with lots of amenities. My favorite amenities are the sky terrace (the view from the 6th floor is so amazing) and the productivity hub (I actually get a lot of work done there). The environment gives you a sense of ambiance and comfort. There’s even a private dining area and a yoga room. When I moved in, I only had one problem, my upstairs neighbor was a bit heavy footed. I should have complained from the beginning but I was worried about being a nuisance. But the noise became so unbearable that I had to make a complaint to management. The first person I spoke to wasn’t of much help. But I got an email from the property manager the very next business day. We interacted and scheduled a phone call. When we got on the call, he really listened, he didn’t overlook any of my issues. Not only did he promise to call my upstairs neighbor to see if they could quiet down, add rugs or carpet; he also said they would get me a white noise canceling machine. That was above and beyond for me, that call really made me feel valued and cared for. Ever since that call, I almost never hear my upstairs neighbor anymore and I also received the white noise canceling machine. Trellis is a beautiful apartment with a manager that really cares.

Alexis Barry: The concierge has been super helpful! Ms. Jacklyn Jackson has gone above and beyond to make sure that residents are having a positive experience at Trellis. Thank you!

Linda Armistead: I have yet to move my daughter in and already I am confident in giving Wayne Toombs a perfect score. Trellis House has a gold gem working for them. He has graciously walked my daughter and me through the entire process making it, not only stress free, enjoy. He has a wealth of knowledge and shares it with thoughtfulness, professionalism and kindness. He is undeniably the BEST at what he does. Having him guide us has truly put this overprotective mom’s mind at ease. God bless him and his loved ones!

Caleb Pase: Quality staff. Dog friendly. 24/7 doorman is a huge plus. We’ve always gotten our packages! A lot of nice folks and families live here and in the neighborhood. The renovations are especially nice and make you feel cozy at home. First time renting in DC and it’s been a blast so far.

Dnesh Ad: Be careful with your tenant named as "Maya Tenden". She is an online buyer and a big liar. She falsely claims non sense.

Amy Torres: Great dinner and service! Best steak I had in a long time! Our waiter Alejandro was super and so professional! Just a pleasure all around! We are restaurant industry people and totally impressed from beginning of our our meal to the end! The Italian waiter came by for a chat and also totally made our night. All around great and we are looking forward to coming back again soon. Thank you! Kudos to the owners!

Dr. Tonyelle R.: Wallet stolen and staff did not help recover! Landan is top notch! Thank you! God bless you in Jesus name!!!

Holiday Inn Washington Capitol - Natl Mall, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?

Wei Y: My recent experience at the hotel in mid March was quite pleasant. The room was clean, decor was fairly up-to-date, beds were comfortable (subjectively), and the bathroom was fairly well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, this includes the cleaning crew (on the 8th floor) who would give you anything you asked for. The pandemic is not over yet, so I liked the idea of not having staff coming in every day. People complaint about the thin wall, water pressure and the train. I did experience all of the above. The thin wall didn’t bother me that much, it’s usually due to loud neighbors. For the water pressure, I just waited for the others to finish their use then take my turn, the place was packed at the time and everyone was taking shower at the same time. As for the train, the hotel unfortunately situated right next to the track so unless you are a heavy sleeper, the noises could bother some of the guests on the east side. We ended up switching to the other side and it was great! The food at the restaurant downstairs was also surprising. The taste and the price were comparable to the nearby places, if not cheaper. A Starbucks was also attached to the hotel but they do close somewhat early. As for the parking, we didn’t have a car, but once I parked at a hotel in downtown Chicago, it was over $100 a night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again for sure!

M B: This was our first time staying at this hotel and it completely served its purpose. First the location - it is across the street from the department of Education and one block from the Air & Space Museum. There is a Starbucks on the corner of the hotel and several restaurants on the same block including a McDonalds. This hotel has a parking garage under it making parking very convenient. Parking fee is charged by the hotel per day and we had in and out privileges throughout our stay. There are two restaurants inside the hotel and a small convenience store next to the front desk. The lobby is more upscale than I thought it would be and staff was nice. We got into our room the first night later in the evening and our AC wasn’t working. We called the front desk and within minutes, a maintenance worker was at our door. He changed out the wall thermostat which didn’t resolve the issue and called for assistance to bring a new AC unit. They changed that out within minutes and discovered that there must be a wiring challenge that would take more time to resolve. They contacted the front desk, got us a new room and they walked it to make sure it was in perfect working condition before bringing us the new key cards. They offered to help us move but we were fine getting ourselves to the new room. This was the only challenge we experienced during our stay and these two maintenance technicians were absolutely wonderful. We forgot to get their names but they were on duty Friday, May 20, 2022 in the late evening. Nothing is a short walk in Washington DC as buildings are huge and the distance is deceiving. Every day we walked more than 7 miles and at the end of each day I walked back to the hotel to pick up the car to pick up my Mom to keep her from having to walk back. All throughout Washington DC, there are bicycles and electric scooters available to rent electronically on the spot to make the walking shorter and to get places quicker. We didn’t use them this time but they are a great benefit if needed. We did not eat in the hotel, but it is wonderful that the restaurants were there if we wanted to. This is a pretty perfect hotel to stay in when visiting Washington DC and we will most likely stay here on our next visit and recommend that you consider it as well. We didn’t take photos of the hotel, but it was very nice, clean, comfortable beds and we felt safe.

Tudor Place: what do users think?

Sara Ceresa: I was mostly interested in seeing the gardens, which didn’t disappoint. I also quite enjoyed the tour of the house including the historical context of the property’s ownership and recognition of the critical roles of slaves and caretakers in the history of the property.

pooria riahi: This is a very charming place hidden in Georgetown and visiting it is free. places in a cute neighborhood and its gardens could be a relaxing destination for an afternoon. However, I have to voice my concern on the state of the place and how badly it is being kept. In my mind, if they need money, it is ok to charge visitors but gardens are delicate things to maintain and need attention.

B Daisy: Gorgeous. We got to rest in the garden for half an hour before our tour of the house started, which was beautiful and so serene. The house itself comes with a great amount of history, and the people who work here really care about the story and try to provide you with as much information as they can, which was really inspiring to see. You could tell, just by looking at Francis (our amazing guide) and the rest of the staff, how significant the house and the narrative was to them. Their enthusiasm and dedication was beautiful, and the garden and the house itself was such a treat to see. Loved every minute of it.

Natalie Thomas: We did the elegant Victorian tea party and toured the Historic House. 👌🏽👌🏽

Michelle Mitton: A beautiful stop in our tour of Georgetown. The house was closed due to COVID but the gardens were worth the visit. We loved the neighborhood around the estate and the fountains and gardens are well kept and lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Natalie Moore: I am a wedding photographer specializing in film photography. Myself and another photographer hosted our workshop, The Film Theory Workshop at the Tutor Place and it was the perfect place for our small get together! They were accommodating with helping us navigate the ins and outs of making our workshop come to life, and the backdrop was perfect for multiple shoot locations. The historic grounds in Washington, D.c. tell an incredible story and was the perfect fit for our workshop! Hope to shoot wedding there one day! ps. We were so excited when our workshop ended up going on to be featured in Style Me Pretty! Big thanks to Tudor Place! Images by Natalie Jayne Photography

Rachel McCoy: Beautiful in the spring time with the flowers in full bloom. Gardens can be visited for just $3. There are plenty of benches to sit and admire the view of this little idyll in the middle of Georgetown.

The Gantry: what do users think?

Cory Cooper: From the moment I walk into the gantry the building was spectacular with amazing views of DC. I was greeted by Lottie who was very friendly and offered me refreshments. My leasing agent Kadija Cole was so helpful, hands on, and friendly to work with during my leasing process ..she made me feel like I was the only person while dealing with many potential residents. I love it here!

Trayvon Nelson: I’ve been living at The Gantry for about five months, and I can say this place is amazing. Well established, comfortable, and most importantly secure is what I feel while living here. The persons that work here are also appreciated for what they do. Two staff members that are always helping and ensuring that I am treated like family despite the situation are Armando and Lottie. The work these two put in at this marvelous Apartment enterprise I should say is heartfelt and wonderful. With Lottie and Armando, it is so easy to hold a conversation. Usually, any problem that presents itself will always be solved by one of the two without having to go to the Leasing Office. The Gantry is my Home and I love it. To The Gantry, Lottie, and Armando, thank you for making the little things count.

Seng Peng: I highly recommend the Gantry. I have been here for only a few months but so far it has been my best apartment living experience. All of the staff are super professional and responsive and they know you by a first name basis. The building amenities are top notch. I especially enjoy the organic community garden at the rooftop. If you are looking for a new place to live in a hip and chic neighborhood, come check out The Gantry!

Jalisa Jackson: I moved into the Gantry about 3 weeks ago! The move-in was smooth and simple. The amenities are awesome! The building is huge, modern and located in an up and coming neighborhood. I would definitely recommend taking a tour if you are considering. I worked with Kadija through my application process and move, she was truly great to work with 😊.

Soni K: The Gantry is stunning- seriously, every space is beautifully curated. The amenities are top tier & the apartments have high quality appliances. I wanted to move in as soon as I toured this place, & Kadija from the leasing office went above & beyond to make it happen. She was incredibly helpful through the moving process & accommodated all my requests. Moving is always stressful but she made the process seamless & I can’t thank her enough

Greg Weinman: We just moved in to our new apartment at the Gantry and we can’t say enough positive about this beautiful property and the amazing leasing office staff. We looked at about a dozen properties, but we kept coming back to the Gantry, and now that we are finally making it home, it just becomes clearer every day what a solid choice this is for us. The leasing staff, especially our personal agent Joshua, have been above and beyond attentive, they’ve gone out of their way to be helpful with our pre-move in needs (accepting deliveries etc., and answering our endless questions. They continue to make us feel welcome in a way we’ve really never experienced before. During these sometimes challenging angry times, it’s really nice to live somewhere where we can feel welcomed.

Calvert House: what do users think?

Grace Burke: I moved into Calvert in June and I’ve had such a positive experience! My apartment is amazing- very clean, spacious, and great lighting! My process of touring, applying for, and signing my lease was not only easy, but the leasing office was eager to help me. I feel safe living here during the age of COVID-19- we’re required to wear masks when inside and not in individual apartments. I also regularly take advantage of the communal spaces, specifically the gym and the outdoor patio with grills and I’ve loved my time with both! I’m even in the process of trying to convince my friend who is moving to DC soon to move into her own studio in Calvert!

Annika Mitic: The staff and team there was super accommodating and friendly. We had an apartment with a balcony and it was absolute heaven. The appliances are a little dated but everything works and the maintenance staff is super quick to address any problems. The location is also excellent!

Vanessa Long: Honestly fantastic location, and great price for a studio compared to the other places around. All utilities included and very quick maintenance for broken appliances. I lived here for a year and wish I could stay longer. Staff can sometimes be cold but we can often be cold at work too. I recommend moving here if you want to be near restaurants, Metro, and a beautiful park. Building is generally very quiet and units have NO pest issues. I had a great experience!
