Christopher Dietz: As a contractor/remodeler, we recommend our clients to various vendors to select their materials for their projects. I recently did that for the Tile Shop-Tenleytown as it was the closest location for my client who lives in Scott Circle. My client told me that he had such a great experience compared to some other tile shops in the city, no names needed. When my client and I went back yesterday to finalize the purchase, we were greeted right away, they knew my clients name and what he was looking at, all without having to be reminded. We spent about 1.5 hours with Ari and his manager, Shu-nan. We had, in my personal and professional opinion, one of the best retail/vendor experiences I have had in a very long time. Keep up the great work Tile Shop, Ari and Shu-nan!

Jeanie Arnold: Tough to reach the right people by phone (their phone tree/menu is confusing and half the numbers go to voicemail and all mailboxes are full), BUT if you dial the showroom, the people are SO helpful. I am fixing a shower that has Porcelanosa tile and was trying to match tiles (people... always buy extra tile and save it!!) since the previous owner did not save any tiles, and was very sad to find out that they discontinued the tile I needed last year. The person at the store could not have been kinder or more helpful. I wish I had caught her name! Sara, maybe? She looked at the photos of my tile situation with me, made some excellent recommendations, and was just delightful. Porcelanosa tiles are absolutely gorgeous, too. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, by the way! Website hours need to be updated.
Fred Gober: We are the owner of a Fl condo and visited the Bethesda Porcelanosa and could not be happier from the day we visited. The material purchased was the most beautiful tile for both the flooring and shower. The salespeople were patient, extremely helpful from selection to purchase, to delivery and even "return of unused material". Unheard- of !!! The installer recommended was a Master and could not have been more professional. The condo is now a masterpiece as a result of installation of Porcelanosa. Give them a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised. Abdel is the store manager and is amazingly talented. Ask for him.

Nora Davison: I have 2 designers helping me on my bath/closet/bedroom project. They both choose Ann Sacks as their immediate "go to" for selection and quality. Jamie helped us at Ann Sacks and I cannot imagine a more knowledgeable and professional associate to show me everything I wanted to know/see in regards to style, color, texture, practicality - you name it. She had answers for everything and offered alternatives or even better recommendations for what I am trying to achieve. She looked at the blueprints for the project and intuitively knew where to direct us. The selection is unbelieveably vast and so BEAUTIFUL! Tile Optima makes beautiful flooring, but they also have extremely helpful and efficient sales staff that treat you like a human being. Not only a high-end product, but high end employees as well. Dursun Ertekin: We went down on the recommendation of a friend to check out their tile selection after already deciding on one from another showroom. We ended up with a great deal and everything was available to pick up around back in minutes. All of the sales people were friendly and knowledgable and very experienced in tile selection and install. Their selection is expansive with everything from very affordable ceramic to absolutely gorgeous glass and trav in countless styles. I cant imagine that we will shop elsewhere for any tile needs in the future. Go during the week if you can because they are closed on Sundays, making Saturdays a bit of a madhouse for sales and loading service.

Ellen Tyler: Yasin from Firuze was very helpful in helping us choose the tile for our new bath and shower. He has great taste, was very responsive, and the prices were very competitive. The prices were better than Home Depot and much better quality.

My wife and I were looking for modern look tiles for our bathroom renovation project. He showed us all tiles that might satisfy our needs. Willie Powers: Stona exceeded all of my interior alteration requirements!! I write requirements to renovate office space. I also work with contractors who renovate my offices so I knew exactly what materials, colors and “look” I wanted for my home. I walked into Mert’s Stona showroom with my interior alteration requirements (i.e., wood/tile samples, photos, schematics), and he advised me on what was doable and challenging. Instead of ignoring the “challenging” requirements, Mert and Javier gave me many interior alteration ideas. They shared photos and made their own drawings, and then they showed me quality materials that were far better than my ideas. Here is the Scope of Work --- repair cracks in drywall; paint every room (walls, ceiling and closets); replace the floor in the foyer (see before and after photos); update the light fixture and electrical in the kitchen (see before and after photos); and give the fireplace a facelift (see before and after photos). This review of Stona is connected to my review of Global Natural Stone because Stona provided all of the schematics and materials. I give Stona 5 stars for interior alteration ideas, quality materials, installation, staying within budget and also completing the project on time. Stona gets my highest recommendation!!
Jeffrey Seisler: We had been searching for marble tile for an entrance hall in our apartment in Georgetown Park Condominiums in a wide variety of on-line and retail stone/tile companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We ventured into the beautiful Stona showroom on Grace Street in Georgetown and were pleasantly surprised to find a marble mosaic that suited our purpose. The Stona staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The owner, Mert Bakan promptly came to our apartment, took measurements and provided a very reasonably priced bid to do all the work including demolition and re-tiling. One of the things that we liked about Stona is that they have their own craftsmen, unlike many other stone retailers who could only recommend independent contractors whom we then would have to contact to do the installation. Stona provided a full service. Within a week of accepting their offer Stona sent two installers to do the job; small by comparison to many jobs (38 ft2). The installers were very careful removing the existing woodwork, which they refitted and replaced at the end of the job without damaging anything. (Frequently the demolition requires replacing the moldings.) The demolition of the existing floor was done without much disruption and the installation was very professional. Mert Bakan came to inspect the job before the installers left and to make sure we were satisfied with the entire process. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient as well as attentive to detail from start to finish. We are very satisfied with the finished product and would highly recommend Stona based on quality of materials, professionalism, price and overall efficiency.

Paul Cage: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: I would definitely recommend District Floor Depot for anyone looking for new floors. It was a long time in getting this project done, but the wait was worth it. The staff was some of the most helpful and friendly I have dealt with in the DC area. When they came out for site surveys, three times because the scope of work changed, they maintained COVID protocols, and were prompt to get the quotes back to me. The devilry date for the materials, due to a snow storm, they contacted me to let me know of the issues. Installation was good and the end result was beautiful floors that have changed the look and feel in the upper level of the home. I will be contacting them to do the main level of my house when I do that project!
Lee Springer: Awesome experience! I had no idea where to get hardwood floors as someone who’s doing a renovation for the first time. District scheduled someone to come out that week to measure and talk me through the project. I went into the showroom to finalize my wood and scheduled an appointment in 2 weeks. They came when scheduled and finished the job in 4-5 hours for 250 sq ft. I’ve heard nightmare stories about contractors but district was great. Total cost was $12/sq ft installed. Highly recommend, I plan to use them for next project!
Leah Evangelista: We just finished redoing almost all the floors in our new house with District floors. They were fast, friendly and easy to work with. They started and finished the job exactly when they said they would. They put two types of luxury vinyl in our basement and our sunroom turned office. Both projects are perfect, the floors are so well done and the shoe molding looks great. They also refinished an entire second floor going from floor to floor carpet to beautiful tiger wood floors as well as two staircases. The floors are gorgeous and they matched the first floor perfectly. They exceeded all expectations and Ever and his crew were great. Tony Camilli: Competent, reliable and honest is how I would describe DFD! We did a major renovation of our house and shopped at 5 other floor vendors before finding DFD. Not only did the DFD team supply us with a great product at a competitive price, they did an excellent job installing it. We also made a few changes on our transition pieces during the install process and DFD was very patient, flexible, and cooperative.
Mark Meader: The District Floor Team’s DC Rhode Island St. store did a great job installing my wood laminate basement floor. From start to finish the entire team was professional, helpful, courteous and punctual. From helping me find the right flooring, to explaining the various underlay options, to taking accurate measurements and providing a fair price, they were great. Install was done on time, they did a good job with clean up and I would both recommend and use them again.

F S: Excellent job replacing my flooring last year; easy from start to finish. Very nice Brazilian cherry and great installation as well as disposal/ clean up. There was a delay by a few days delay in finishing due to an underestimation in the amount of product needed but they did not charge for this. It’s supposed to be lost cost repairs too but I’m still waiting on the estimate for this.

Unasian: Amazing and unique tiles for the Kitchen! They are a bit pricier than the tiles from other places, but the subtle uniqueness cannot be beat. Kylee helped us get the order placed in for the tiles and it took about a day or so to have the order ready.
Theresa Rachele: I have used Architectural Ceramics for my kitchen and bathroom remodels, as I love their selection, quality and design expertise. Just recently, Kylee assisted me with a smaller project to tile my bedroom fireplace. When the tile I selected was discontinued, Kylee spent days searching and contacting multiple suppliers to see if they had it in stock. She ended up contacting the original manufacturer and negotiated for them them do another order - just for me. Additionally, Kylee worked with Charlie and his crew who did a wonderful job installing the tile. I am so pleased with the result! Anna: We had a wonderful experience thanks to Shahid going above and beyond to assist us. We purchased tiles in the Alexandria location a few years ago and realized we needed more upon finally starting our project. To our dismay, the design and size we needed was discontinued. Shahid spent so much time with us tracking down our initial order from a few years ago, finding the details in the system, and locating the one warehouse that still had a few of our tile boxes laying around. We shipped them to his store and they arrived and were waiting for us on the exact date he promised. Upon arriving, everything was ready, packaged perfectly, and no damage. He also sent email notifications to keep up updated. Overall, terrific experience and thanks to Shahid for saving our living room and being so helpful and courteous through the process!
Robert Ball: Wonderful establishment. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years and return each time we need tiles for floors, kitchen and bathrooms. The product choices are many and varied, the service providers are knowledgeable and delightful working with, as recently exemplified by Farid Alsafi. Prices are most reasonable, delivery is included and returns are welcome within 90 days of delivery. The guys will even place products neatly in the garage or in the work area (the latter for an extra charge). Five (5) stars - every time we purchase here!

David Millier: What a great place to get tile. They spend a lot of time with you, give you samples to take home provide advice, and with no pressure to buy. Our sales person, Francesca is an excellent designer. Prices are very reasonable as well. We remodeled 2 bathrooms recently, and as a result looked at several places for supplies, including tile. Of all the places I dealt with, Besttile was definitely my favorite. Will use them again for a big kitchen remodel in a few years.

Last fall, I had to pick up a project needing completion by 12/31/22, and reached out to this team. Kavoos came by with samples and an amazing attitude. He worked with my stakeholders on a bit of designing and meeting their objectives and the professionalism was exceptional. During installation, the team was very professional and worked quite hard, delivering an amazing new look to our Class A NWDC office boardroom. Not only are my stakeholders thrilled with how well the design blends to our office, but the quality has been exceptional as well. Both on a professional and personal level, I highly recommend Capital Carpet. I will be calling this team first on my next project!

Christian Bailey: The Best Flooring Company in the DMV Area!!! As an interior designer, I have worked with a lot of companies but there’s something different about them. My clients and I came couple weeks ago for a one bedroom installation. Philly warmly welcomed us. She was professional and very sweet to work with. I told her to give us a ring and keep us on the loop throughout the carpeting as we travel a lot. Our carpet was backlogged due to Covid but she made sure somehow with the factory to get it sooner. She also kept messaging and updating me along the process. Our floors were beautifully done by Freddie. I appreciate the great work Will be uploading pictures on Yelp as well! A J: I received carpet installation today. The contractors arrived within the time promised. They did an excellent job and I’m very well pleased with my new carpet. They were professional and focused on getting the job done. I had expected them to at least stop and take a lunch break but they kept working so thumbs up to being dedicated. I will update my review within 6 months to let everyone know how my carpet is holding up. However, as of now it looks good. I’m confident the carpet will continue to look good. Patricia Antoneia Jackson: Great Customer Service!! walking in the store, which was quite busy, I was acknowledged by the front desk receptionist(Felia) and once available she listened and directed me to the exact carpet style I was looking for. Their measurer/estimator(Hamed) came to my house same day, emailed a written quote and within 10 days(special order carpet) the installer(Freddie) laid BEAUTIFUL Mohawk carpet throughout my home! The entire staff was pleasant from beginning to end and although there were some hiccups due to Covid related matters(vendor supply chain delays/labor shortage) Felia, Hamed, Freddie and the Owner were always pleasant. My carpet looks great, feels great for a better price than two competitors! First thing my children and I did was make “snow-carpet angels”! Thank you Capital Carpet! The two gentlemen arrived on time and worked non stop until the job was complete. They cleaned up all of their mess and left the rooms looking as they were before they arrived. The Christian Socialite: From: Ms. Dixon Love my LVT floors and carpet. Capital Carpet LLC installed LVT and carpet in my house this week. Excellent customer service. Negin did an excellent job. She helped me to stay within my budget and offered me a good deal on LVT and carpet. The owner was nice and accommodating. The installers did an excellent job as well. They noted a few problem areas in the floor before installing the LVT throughout the first level and suggested repairs. The added repairs to the total cost was reasonable. Cathy Austin: Rod at Ideal Tile is wonderful. Has been attentive to even the smallest of details, following up again and again to make sure we have what we need. And their selection is great. Highly recommend!
Linda Brender: I am terrible at choosing the right materials for renovating, and I am so glad that I chose this store because the staff here insists that you look at a lot of options so that you make the right choice. In the end, I chose one that the staff recommended, and it looks perfect in my kitchen, even though I forgot to bring the samples with me. I told them the names of the cabinets and the counter tops, and they looked them up on the computer. I would recommend always shopping here and bringing your samples with you.
Mickey Neeley: We purchased kitchen backsplash tile from Ideal Tile when we did a full kitchen remodel. The tile ended up being the highlight of the kitchen. The owner took the time to walk us through a tremendous amount of options. It is well worth it to shop at a store with he expertise and patience you find at Ideal Tile with Ali and his wife.

Beverly Kaye: I hired Jud Tile to redo my downstairs bathroom in 2017. The bathroom turned out spectacular as you can see in the attached picture. Jud suggested the "knee wall" and his staff was most helpful with the tile selection. The workmen were very polite, careful and on time. I was so pleased with the bathroom results I hired them to redo my hall and laundry room in 2018. I would definitely recommend Jud Tile and plan to use them for my future projects.
Keith B Jenkins: Jud Tile has provided creativity, quality workmanship, and professional guidance in needed changes in our home. Key projects are 1) conversion of an indoor pool and spa to a sunroom, 2) conversion of the sunroom shower area to be handicap accessible, and 3) conversion of master bedroom shower to be handicap accessible. Due to the effects of pool chemicals on the fieldstone floor and medical issues, we decided to remove the pool and spa and create a pleasant sunroom. Jud Tile worked with us on room design, tile selection, and fireplace design. Their work was excellent and precise. (Reference picture # 1) At the time the sunroom was constructed, we did not include upgrading the shower to handicapped accessible. When that time came, they led us through the design and selection of the tile and hardware. Their design was excellent, and the installation was precise. They did all that was necessary to have the room ready before scheduled holiday parties. (Reference picture # 2) The conversion of the master bath shower to handicapped accessible was a tough design problem. The original tile and its deco tile are no longer available. To avoid replacement of all of the floor tile in the bathroom, they created a carpet tile and re-grouted the existing tile to create a smooth transition. This creativity avoided the need to replace all of the bathroom tiles. An additional problem was that our master tub had deco tile that detracted from the new tile. Their professional installer removed that deco tile with no damage to adjacent tiles and installed new deco tile that was used in the shower. (Reference pictures # 3, 4, & 5) Our experience is that they are excellent problem solvers, professional designers, precise installers, and deep concern for the satisfaction of the customer.
poco m: This shop is a gem in Vienna! I bought tile here twice, once for a kitchen backsplash and once for a sunroom floor. The selection is huge and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The showroom is beautiful and full of inspiration. All-in-all, it was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

I have done several bathrooms in my home and have helped friends with theirs as well. The ladies in the showroom are just amazing, sweet and so helpful! They have some of the most beautiful tiles you can imagine on display there and their pricing is very fair in my estimation. I have used products from their "Treasure Room" where they have discounted over stocked items that sometimes have been just perfect!

Here is my experience; OK - when I spoke with (John Y the sales person) I told him premium carpet and I knew exactly what my square footage or yards measurement for area I needed done. John was very professional and quoted me a price on Mohawk carpet, pad and install that was excellent. I also researched price and knew his bid was very competitive. Perfect install and easy payment on credit card. I would buy from Baileys Crossroads Carpetland again!
A L: Carpet stores are kind of like that mystery of mattress stores. How do they afford that kind of real estate space selling something that everyone has but is only bought occasionally? Well, in the case of this Carpetland, it is the professionalism they are selling that makes it such an amazing value. I am not surprised that Johns face is the first image for this business. His professionalism and customer service is at the premium level, leaving no doubt why people come to this business. John went above and beyond to get us the runner carpet for my sons play area we ordered. He actually drove to a different location after work and brought it to our home before a long weekend. Because of that, my wife and I got to see his first steps last night because he had enough traction with his walker. We really appreciate that. The carpet was great, but John was amazing. I highly recommend this business and especially John.
Tom W: Just finished my entire house with carpet from Carpetland (Falls Church location). They are professional, fair price, and have an excellent selection of carpets, area rugs and flooring. Jay helped us with carpet selection; John did precise measurements and recommended the best layout with minimal waste.
