Andrew Smothermon: 2.5 stars. Great service when actually selecting tile - Sal was very helpful in helping us execute our vision. However, it’s kind of a headache to retrieve your order. They don’t keep any stock at their Wisconsin Ave location, so we had to drive an hour up to Rockville or pay extra to have it shipped to the store. At Rockville, when we arrived to pick up a few extra pieces, it took them 45 mins to find/pack 9 pieces of tile. With the amount you pay for tile, I feel like the least they could do is make delivery seamless and free. I would give 5/5 for tile selection service, and 0/5 for logistics.

MEL: Does anyone actually work there? This is the question I asked myself while I tried to pick up the smallest item (a mug-sized cleaning product ordered to the store as the balance of a previous paid order). I literally emailed with the person I previously worked with prior to coming in and set a date to pick it up, but still had to make two trips because this two-minute task was just too much for two employees in an empty store. It was like they had no idea what a customer would be doing in the store.

Jetzeell Graham: If I could give Zero stars I would. Received damaged tiles that were not replaced. On top of that, after our contractor installed the tile, we learned that they sent us the wrong tile. Check my yelp review for additional photos and info.
Christopher Dietz: As a contractor/remodeler, we recommend our clients to various vendors to select their materials for their projects. I recently did that for the Tile Shop-Tenleytown as it was the closest location for my client who lives in Scott Circle. My client told me that he had such a great experience compared to some other tile shops in the city, no names needed. When my client and I went back yesterday to finalize the purchase, we were greeted right away, they knew my clients name and what he was looking at, all without having to be reminded. We spent about 1.5 hours with Ari and his manager, Shu-nan. We had, in my personal and professional opinion, one of the best retail/vendor experiences I have had in a very long time. Keep up the great work Tile Shop, Ari and Shu-nan!
Betsy Dewey: I had the best experience and found the perfect tiles at the Rockville location. Kellen Holland provided incredible service. My aunt is an interior designer who lives in Florida and she had us running around the showroom to show her options on Facetime. Kellen was so patient, accommodating and attentive and I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience.

Kerry Burger (What's Up Kerry?): I do want to give 3.5 stars... I ordered tiles 24x24 from online and shipped to DC for the pickup. I waited for a month to get my handyman's availability time to install tiles for my kitchen floor. I made a rookie mistake for not having 10-20% backup tiles after the measurement. I came back to the store to return the broken tile from pickup and asked for more tiles. Mo was doing good at customer service with me. He pointed out tiles are discontinued. So, all of total 3 months trying to find extra tiles from other locations... Mo does great job with email communication and outreached stores. I may be difficult customer with this situation. When I got extra tiles from other stores, sadly they were chipped on some corner and edge. I asked for more tiles again in 3rd time. Mo did respectfully and found more tiles again from NY. New story came, those tiles are a little darker and 1/2 inches off compared to the original one. I tried to contact Mo again and I can tell he was probably fed up. Can't blame him. I decided to continue with chipped tiles from my 2nd story. My handyman managed to touching them up with coloring white to get over with it. Admittedly, Tile Shop do have nice choices there but after all of this experience... I learned my lesson. I will still use Tile shop again but I recommend to have 20% extra tiles just in case... Not 10%. Tile shop will pay you back if you have leftovers. After reading other people's review... half of them are right. Thank you for the patience with me.
Linda Miller: Had a good/fine experience until we discovered that our contractor had picked up all the tiles and 9 of a speciality variety were missing. When we called the warehouse they said everything was picked up so we decided to just pay for more to replace the missing tile. When ordering the tile for a second time, exactly 9 were available in stock and the rest were on back order. Clearly the 9 available at the location were our 9 missing pieces but that was impossible per the store. So we paid for tile twice just to get the situation over with.
Lili M: Unfortunately they are into wearing masks over the nose (even if you have exemption due to a medical conditions but you still wearing the mask) more than into selling the tile. Ridiculous. The seller didn’t give a heck when I explained the struggle I experience due to my breathing problems.

Jeanie Arnold: Tough to reach the right people by phone (their phone tree/menu is confusing and half the numbers go to voicemail and all mailboxes are full), BUT if you dial the showroom, the people are SO helpful. I am fixing a shower that has Porcelanosa tile and was trying to match tiles (people... always buy extra tile and save it!!) since the previous owner did not save any tiles, and was very sad to find out that they discontinued the tile I needed last year. The person at the store could not have been kinder or more helpful. I wish I had caught her name! Sara, maybe? She looked at the photos of my tile situation with me, made some excellent recommendations, and was just delightful. Porcelanosa tiles are absolutely gorgeous, too. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, by the way! Website hours need to be updated.
Fred Gober: We are the owner of a Fl condo and visited the Bethesda Porcelanosa and could not be happier from the day we visited. The material purchased was the most beautiful tile for both the flooring and shower. The salespeople were patient, extremely helpful from selection to purchase, to delivery and even "return of unused material". Unheard- of !!! The installer recommended was a Master and could not have been more professional. The condo is now a masterpiece as a result of installation of Porcelanosa. Give them a chance and you will be pleasantly surprised. Abdel is the store manager and is amazingly talented. Ask for him.
Mila Le: We have remodeled our 2 bathrooms with the help of Porcelanosa expert and designer Maria. And it was one of the best experiences ever. We are very grateful for all the help, advises, support and time that Maria provided and made our remodeling less stressful and overwhelming. We have shopped for tiles around but because of the great customer service and help with the design we didn't even wanted to deal with other stores or representatives. Maria also helped us with our 3rd bathroom remodeling a couple of years ago and because of her great customer service and support we returned back to Porcelanosa. Thank you Maria again - you are the best!!!! We definitely recommend Procelanosa to others!

Mark Ugoretz: The company is impossible to reach by telephone. Voice mail requires that one know the name of a person working at the showroom. Hardly useful if one wants to make an appointment or get information. I already bought several thousand dollars in Porcelanosa and had a simple question which now apparently requires that I travel downtown for an answer.

jennifer Sager: When we were dong our renovation a couple of months ago we went their showroom in DC to check their floor tile selection. They do have so many high end tile selection and its not so expensive at all. I would highly recommend them.

Nora Davison: I have 2 designers helping me on my bath/closet/bedroom project. They both choose Ann Sacks as their immediate "go to" for selection and quality. Jamie helped us at Ann Sacks and I cannot imagine a more knowledgeable and professional associate to show me everything I wanted to know/see in regards to style, color, texture, practicality - you name it. She had answers for everything and offered alternatives or even better recommendations for what I am trying to achieve. She looked at the blueprints for the project and intuitively knew where to direct us. The selection is unbelieveably vast and so BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend Jamie and Ann Sacks for a stunning result!!
Howard Eisenberg: Beautiful selection of tile but unfortunately misleading customer service during and after the sales process. Similar to the previous reviewer, the salesperson explained how we should order extra tiles because the return process is easy. Quite the opposite, the return process is nearly impossible because the packaging that the tiles are received in is not suitable for the return shipping method that Ann Sacks arranges for return shipment, making it impractical to really return any product. Tiles cannot be returned to the store, they need to be repackaged and protected to be shipped back to their warehouse without damage. Beware the upsell sales pitch.
AB: Disappointing customer service. Ann Sacks agreed to take a tile return with their label and using their preferred shipping method. I sent it back in exactly the same box in which it was sent to me and I further labeled the box as fragile. The shipper destroyed the tile (box was bashed, etc) but the cost of the loss was within Fedex's basic insurance amount. Ann Sacks said yes you used our shipper and method of return but the tile was damaged in shipment and so we won't take the return. So, ok. I asked for an invoice so I could ask the shipper to be responsible for the loss and Ann Sacks said they would not "allow" a claim against Fedex and since they paid for the shipping method/label I had to eat the loss. The monetary amount is not huge, but Ann Sacks bears responsibility here for not allowing a proper customer recourse. When sending a shipping label, Ann Sacks easily could have indicated returns need to be re-packaged (how would I know the box they sent it to me via the same shipper in was now going to be inadequate?) And there was no need to cut off proper recourse for reimbursement because Fedex clearly did not treat the fragile shipment as fragile.
Jennifer Strauss: I've had a really wonderful experience with Jamie Tedrick, who is one of the design consultants at this store. I've worked with her remotely and she's been extremely gracious and patient and responsive.

Dursun Ertekin: We went down on the recommendation of a friend to check out their tile selection after already deciding on one from another showroom. We ended up with a great deal and everything was available to pick up around back in minutes. All of the sales people were friendly and knowledgable and very experienced in tile selection and install. Their selection is expansive with everything from very affordable ceramic to absolutely gorgeous glass and trav in countless styles. I cant imagine that we will shop elsewhere for any tile needs in the future. Go during the week if you can because they are closed on Sundays, making Saturdays a bit of a madhouse for sales and loading service.

Firuze Tile Kitchen Bath & Countertops: what do users think?
Ellen Tyler: Yasin from Firuze was very helpful in helping us choose the tile for our new bath and shower. He has great taste, was very responsive, and the prices were very competitive. The prices were better than Home Depot and much better quality.
Maria Moreno: After visiting close to a dozen different kitchen remodeling places in NoVA, we came across this store. Everything was fantastic: The way they treated us, the incredible selection of quality materials, their professional advice on helping us make a selection, and, of course, the unbeatable prices! Yasin is a god-send with his customer service skills and knowledge. Although we went just for a basic back-splash tile, we ended up buying floor tile and quartz countertops. You just can't match their product quality and prices. Moreover, the looks are stylish, modern and most importantly unique, unlike buying from the big box home improvement stores. In the middle of the COVID pandemic, they delivered the products quickly and on time and expeditiously arranged for a contractor to do the installation.
raina hoang: Mr. Yasin is very professional and thorough. He offers many options and great design ideas. In 2015, we did a kitchen remodel and he helped us more than the contractor. Today when guests come into our kitchen the first compliment we get is on our beautiful floors which was purchased at Firuze. I went back to Firuze and Mr. Yasin helped me again. This time to fix a countertop problem even though I did not buy the countertop from them. He models great customer service and great business ethics! Firuze's is the best!
Emre Dikici: I have a good experience with Firuze. Customer representative Selman was very helpful and nice to us. My wife and I were looking for modern look tiles for our bathroom renovation project. He showed us all tiles that might satisfy our needs. All tiles we wanted were ready for pick up in couple of days. I was surprised that they have almost everything in stock. Also their pricing is very reasonable for great quality ceramic tiles. I am sure I will come back again.
Lauren Troupe: We looked a few different granite sellers in the DMV and selected this place because of the customer service and the selection. The selection is not as large as some of the other places but some of the stones were similar to the larger locations and there were some unique finds we didn't see at the larger sellers. We worked with Selman K. who was fantastic to have by our side - I highly recommend him and would go back to him for future services. He knows the details of the stones like the back of his hand, will give you advice if you ask for it, can help you pull in tasteful accessories (back splash, grout, cabinets, etc.) and at no point in time did I feel like Firuze was trying to "up-sell" us. Granite was installed in just over a week from us selecting the stone and the measurements were perfect. Install was quick and clean. Our back-splash tile was in just a couple of days after the granite was installed.
Beyazit Kazanci: The experience with Firuze kitchen was great. Firuze had the cabinets we are looking for and able to get them for better pricing. The process was straight forward from start to finish. Yasin was super helpful in placing the order and follow-up for delivery.
Raniya Al-Matari: I had a great experience with Firuze. The representative Selman was very helpful, patient, and nice to my mum, brother, and I. We were looking for counter tops for our kitchen in our new house. He showed us all the counter tops that might satisfy our needs. The counter tops was available and was installed in a week time. There pricing was very reasonable. I was very impressed when i called their office and selman was off but he still got time from his off schedule to give me a call back. I really appreciated that. And i will be going again to do my bathrooms renovation.
Omer Cevikol: Great experience at this store. I had a low budget but really wanted a high quality design I could live with and relish! Marco was a joy to work with. He rapidly understood my design constraints, requirements and budget. He was so reassuring during the whole process. In under an hour, we had the whole thing figured out. They have an excellent variety and after researching my estimate, I can say that the majority of the prices were even lower than Home Depot. So glad I went !!!!
Kyle Brown: My experience with Firuze started out positive. They have nice products, but customer service is lacking. The day after my marble was installed the sales associate called me asking for payment. I asked for a final invoice which was supposed to be updated for the actual quantity of marble installed (which was less than the estimate by 3 square feet). The sales associate refused to give me an updated invoice an threatened to charge my credit card without my consent for the amount that was estimated (approximately $180 over charge). After a heated discussion that lasted 2.5 hours the associate agreed to have the manager call me. The sales associate claimed he was actually the managers boss (later found out to not be true). The sales associate had someone other than the manager call me and try to "resolve" the issue. Eventually they agreed to the correct amount and apologized. I did receive a call from the actual manager. Overall I was very disappointed to have to spend 2.5 hours fighting to be able to pay the correct amount for the marble. Be careful when dealing with the sales associates as they might try to over charge you on the final invoice.
Sharon Jentzer: David Schonert at Firuze was fantastic. He patiently walked me through the process of selecting just the right marble for my double-sink vanity. He arranged for the de-installation of my existing plumbing fixtures and full installation of my new vanity top, new undermount sinks, and new faucets. I would have given 5 stars if David or the technician who measured my vanity had explained to me early in the process that my large (4 ft x 6 ft) mirror could be removed by the marble installers but that if I wanted it re-installed I would need to arrange for a glass/mirror specialist to install it. I did not find out until the installers were leaving that they would not re-install my mirror. I found a mirror installer the next day, but they did not have any appointments available until later the next week. All's well that ends well; the mirror is now installed, and the bathroom is both beautiful and functional again.

Willie Powers: Stona exceeded all of my interior alteration requirements!! I write requirements to renovate office space. I also work with contractors who renovate my offices so I knew exactly what materials, colors and “look” I wanted for my home. I walked into Mert’s Stona showroom with my interior alteration requirements (i.e., wood/tile samples, photos, schematics), and he advised me on what was doable and challenging. Instead of ignoring the “challenging” requirements, Mert and Javier gave me many interior alteration ideas. They shared photos and made their own drawings, and then they showed me quality materials that were far better than my ideas. Here is the Scope of Work --- repair cracks in drywall; paint every room (walls, ceiling and closets); replace the floor in the foyer (see before and after photos); update the light fixture and electrical in the kitchen (see before and after photos); and give the fireplace a facelift (see before and after photos). This review of Stona is connected to my review of Global Natural Stone because Stona provided all of the schematics and materials. I give Stona 5 stars for interior alteration ideas, quality materials, installation, staying within budget and also completing the project on time. Stona gets my highest recommendation!!
Jeffrey Seisler: We had been searching for marble tile for an entrance hall in our apartment in Georgetown Park Condominiums in a wide variety of on-line and retail stone/tile companies in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. We ventured into the beautiful Stona showroom on Grace Street in Georgetown and were pleasantly surprised to find a marble mosaic that suited our purpose. The Stona staff were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The owner, Mert Bakan promptly came to our apartment, took measurements and provided a very reasonably priced bid to do all the work including demolition and re-tiling. One of the things that we liked about Stona is that they have their own craftsmen, unlike many other stone retailers who could only recommend independent contractors whom we then would have to contact to do the installation. Stona provided a full service. Within a week of accepting their offer Stona sent two installers to do the job; small by comparison to many jobs (38 ft2). The installers were very careful removing the existing woodwork, which they refitted and replaced at the end of the job without damaging anything. (Frequently the demolition requires replacing the moldings.) The demolition of the existing floor was done without much disruption and the installation was very professional. Mert Bakan came to inspect the job before the installers left and to make sure we were satisfied with the entire process. He and his staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient as well as attentive to detail from start to finish. We are very satisfied with the finished product and would highly recommend Stona based on quality of materials, professionalism, price and overall efficiency.

Sita Tile Distributors Inc: what do users think?
Anica Landreneau: I have previously had horrendous experience with tile & flooring vendors. After multiple order, backorder and canceled orders I found Sita online. People actually answer the phone! They are helpful! I was able to go in to the contractor's counter with a list of samples I wanted, they were pulled in about 5 minutes, I took them outside and made a selection, walked back in and purchased them, drove around back and a pallet was loaded o to the back of my truck in 15-20 minutes. I will never go anywhere else again!
Brian Holmes: Warren at Sita Tile is GREAT! Very friendly, understood what we were looking for and made solid suggestions until we found the perfect match of shower flooring and wall tile.

Vincent Haynie: Several years ago, I went looking for a specific tile for my personal backsplash. I had tried to work with a big box store and then a more local tile distributor. Either they didn't carry it or they weren't interested in my small order. So I called the manufacturer and they directed me to B & F Ceramics, specifically Gretchen. Paul Cage: BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: I would definitely recommend District Floor Depot for anyone looking for new floors. It was a long time in getting this project done, but the wait was worth it. The staff was some of the most helpful and friendly I have dealt with in the DC area. When they came out for site surveys, three times because the scope of work changed, they maintained COVID protocols, and were prompt to get the quotes back to me. The devilry date for the materials, due to a snow storm, they contacted me to let me know of the issues. Installation was good and the end result was beautiful floors that have changed the look and feel in the upper level of the home. I will be contacting them to do the main level of my house when I do that project!

Lee Springer: Awesome experience! I had no idea where to get hardwood floors as someone who’s doing a renovation for the first time. District scheduled someone to come out that week to measure and talk me through the project. I went into the showroom to finalize my wood and scheduled an appointment in 2 weeks. They came when scheduled and finished the job in 4-5 hours for 250 sq ft. I’ve heard nightmare stories about contractors but district was great. Total cost was $12/sq ft installed. Highly recommend, I plan to use them for next project!

Leah Evangelista: We just finished redoing almost all the floors in our new house with District floors. They were fast, friendly and easy to work with. They started and finished the job exactly when they said they would. They put two types of luxury vinyl in our basement and our sunroom turned office. Both projects are perfect, the floors are so well done and the shoe molding looks great. They also refinished an entire second floor going from floor to floor carpet to beautiful tiger wood floors as well as two staircases. F S: Excellent job replacing my flooring last year; easy from start to finish. Very nice Brazilian cherry and great installation as well as disposal/ clean up. There was a delay by a few days delay in finishing due to an underestimation in the amount of product needed but they did not charge for this. It’s supposed to be lost cost repairs too but I’m still waiting on the estimate for this.

Mary Shine: Great selection and helpful sales staff. However, my tiles were given to me loose in unsealed boxes and some were bundled and secured with a cellophane wrapper. I did not need all the tiles I ordered and when I tried to return the unused ones in the same containers in which they were given to me but THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT THEM FOR RETURN because they were not in sealed boxes. They didn’t give any of them to me in sealed boxes. I won’t do business with them again and I will need tile again in the fall for another project.

On the back of your receipt, you will find our return policy which states, "Merchandise which matches our stock at time of return will be accepted in full sealed cartons only less a 20% handling charge. All returns must be made within 30 days from date of purchase and accompanied with a paid receipt." According to our records, you purchased 72 sf of tile (5 boxes, 76 loose pieces) on Mar 31, 2021 and came to return what looked like the 76 original loose pieces 3.5 months later in the middle of July. We're sorry you are unhappy with our return policy, but we do hope you will purchase with us again in better understanding of our reasonable policies.

Krysta Lemm: Had a frustrating time with this company as a whole. None of the locations had the product size we were looking for but 2 of the locations told me a larger version could be cut down to our size. Arrived here to pick it up and was then informed this was not the case and we needed a completely different product. The employee here did not know what was in stock and spent a lot of time running to and from the warehouse to see what was in and asking other employees where other items could be found. Was here much longer then I had planned and was frustrated to be forced to re-think our design plan on the spot due to miss-information. We will try not to be back...but as they are the only distributor of a certain product in the area it might not be possible.

Unasian: Amazing and unique tiles for the Kitchen! They are a bit pricier than the tiles from other places, but the subtle uniqueness cannot be beat. Kylee helped us get the order placed in for the tiles and it took about a day or so to have the order ready.
Theresa Rachele: I have used Architectural Ceramics for my kitchen and bathroom remodels, as I love their selection, quality and design expertise. Just recently, Kylee assisted me with a smaller project to tile my bedroom fireplace. When the tile I selected was discontinued, Kylee spent days searching and contacting multiple suppliers to see if they had it in stock. She ended up contacting the original manufacturer and negotiated for them them do another order - just for me. Additionally, Kylee worked with Charlie and his crew who did a wonderful job installing the tile. I am so pleased with the result! Anna: We had a wonderful experience thanks to Shahid going above and beyond to assist us. We purchased tiles in the Alexandria location a few years ago and realized we needed more upon finally starting our project. To our dismay, the design and size we needed was discontinued. Shahid spent so much time with us tracking down our initial order from a few years ago, finding the details in the system, and locating the one warehouse that still had a few of our tile boxes laying around. We shipped them to his store and they arrived and were waiting for us on the exact date he promised. Upon arriving, everything was ready, packaged perfectly, and no damage. He also sent email notifications to keep up updated. Overall, terrific experience and thanks to Shahid for saving our living room and being so helpful and courteous through the process!

Sticks Forks & Others: The negative reviews on service are spot on. If I could give negative stars, I would. This is one of the few places that I’ve been to where the employees displayed utter lack of interest in engaging with customers. All questions were met with simple, yes or no answers, if I were lucky enough to find an employee. I was trying to engage the employees to get suggestions on tiles, but after the first few seconds, they all disappeared. It’s a large showroom, and I only saw 2 employees in total, and most of the time they were in the backroom though they knew customers were in the store. Perhaps they cater to contractors for volume business and not interested in individual customers that come in the shop. Whatever the reason, I decided to go elsewhere. Definitely not going back and giving them my business. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Robert Ball: Wonderful establishment. I’ve been a customer for over 15 years and return each time we need tiles for floors, kitchen and bathrooms. The product choices are many and varied, the service providers are knowledgeable and delightful working with, as recently exemplified by Farid Alsafi. Prices are most reasonable, delivery is included and returns are welcome within 90 days of delivery. The guys will even place products neatly in the garage or in the work area (the latter for an extra charge). Five (5) stars - every time we purchase here!

Carrie Dunn Cassinelli: Decent selection but the customer service here is horrible – rude and unhelpful. We had to wait weeks for our tile to come in. They were very short with us when we politely called for an update when it took longer than anticipated. They told us to call back later. Also, we were told we could return any overage when we were done with our job. We had done so for a previous job. When my husband went to return the overage tile, the salesperson was very rude with my husband. He said it had to be a full box (which was not how it was before) and they wouldn't refund our money. Every time my husband goes in there, they are very arrogant, impatient and have no manners. We will not be returning there. Floor and Decor in Alexandria is much better for selection and customer service. Home Depot took back our returns no problem.

Ali A: Nice and plenty of options. You have to pick up your order most of the time, and be careful that they may need more than a week to get your order ready, and few days delays also possible. So, I suggest a day before call and be sure about arrival of your order. They also have designer, if you need. Their prices are higher than big stores like Lowe's. Sometimes there are deals and off price tiles, worth to ask.

Charlie Buckley: Horrible company. Took them months to complete my order successfully. Continuously shipped broken tiles. Refused to deliver to my house and required me to drive all over the mid-atlantic to pick up different parts of my order. then, after they way overestimated the amounts of tile I would need they refused to take any of the unopened boxes back because I was two weeks past their return deadline and my order was too small for them to consider changing their policy (even though it was well over $3000). They hate their customers -- stay away.

Best Tile Rockville: what do users think?
Leigh Tivol: Beautiful and extensive selection of tile at this location. However, we were made to feel so unwelcome that we opted to take our business elsewhere. We were the only customers in the showroom when we arrived. Neither of the two employees on the floor acknowledged us in any way or asked if we needed help, which didn't trouble us in the slightest until one of them began loudly complaining to the other -- while standing just a few feet from us -- about how annoying it was to have to reorganize after customers put tile samples back in the wrong places, and how the store really needed to put up signs saying "please ask for assistance" so that customers wouldn't mess up the sample displays. We were indeed looking at/handling sample tiles, but everything we had touched had been replaced exactly where we found it (and as she made her comments, the employee was reorganizing a shelf of tiles we hadn't even been near). As someone who's worked in retail, I can understand her frustration, and it's possible the comments weren't specifically directed at us...but the fact that she chose to vent right next to us in an otherwise empty (and very large) showroom sure made it feel like she wanted us to hear. It sent the message that customers were viewed as a nuisance, and that we shouldn't have dared to touch the displays at all...which felt especially unwelcoming given that no one had made any attempt to see if we needed help at any point during our visit. We left shortly thereafter, went to a competitor, and will be making our not-insubstantial tile purchase from them...they seemed more than happy to work with us.

David Millier: What a great place to get tile. They spend a lot of time with you, give you samples to take home provide advice, and with no pressure to buy. Our sales person, Francesca is an excellent designer. Prices are very reasonable as well. We remodeled 2 bathrooms recently, and as a result looked at several places for supplies, including tile. Of all the places I dealt with, Besttile was definitely my favorite. Will use them again for a big kitchen remodel in a few years.
Rob Smith: The difference is in the staff. I make decisions all day and it's nice to have staff that will be patient enough to work with you on a design and give you options. I have referred Kely to other contractors repeatedly because of the good service she gives when we call. It's a competitive business, but the people make the difference.

Last fall, I had to pick up a project needing completion by 12/31/22, and reached out to this team. Kavoos came by with samples and an amazing attitude. He worked with my stakeholders on a bit of designing and meeting their objectives and the professionalism was exceptional. During installation, the team was very professional and worked quite hard, delivering an amazing new look to our Class A NWDC office boardroom. My clients and I came couple weeks ago for a one bedroom installation. Philly warmly welcomed us. She was professional and very sweet to work with. I told her to give us a ring and keep us on the loop throughout the carpeting as we travel a lot. Our carpet was backlogged due to Covid but she made sure somehow with the factory to get it sooner. A J: I received carpet installation today. The contractors arrived within the time promised. They did an excellent job and I’m very well pleased with my new carpet. They were professional and focused on getting the job done. I had expected them to at least stop and take a lunch break but they kept working so thumbs up to being dedicated. I will update my review within 6 months to let everyone know how my carpet is holding up. However, as of now it looks good. I’m confident the carpet will continue to look good. Their measurer/estimator(Hamed) came to my house same day, emailed a written quote and within 10 days(special order carpet) the installer(Freddie) laid BEAUTIFUL Mohawk carpet throughout my home! The entire staff was pleasant from beginning to end and although there were some hiccups due to Covid related matters(vendor supply chain delays/labor shortage) Felia, Hamed, Freddie and the Owner were always pleasant. Lucille Washington: The people at Capital Carpet were outstanding. I purchased some carpet from them. They gave me the best service I have had for home improvement in a while. The two gentlemen arrived on time and worked non stop until the job was complete. They cleaned up all of their mess and left the rooms looking as they were before they arrived. michael biddle: I had a great experience with Capital Carpet. It was a small job—carpeting a flight of stairs—yet I felt that I go their full attention. To be honest, the place doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have lots and lots of carpet samples on two floors. I made a few selections, and able to take the samples home. After making a final choice, I got a complete estimate of the cost, and was on their calendar for installation about 2 weeks later. The installers were on time, friendly, professional and fast. They made sure I was happy with their work before leaving. I am very happy with my carpet.

The Christian Socialite: From: Ms. Dixon Love my LVT floors and carpet. Capital Carpet LLC installed LVT and carpet in my house this week. Excellent customer service. Negin did an excellent job. She helped me to stay within my budget and offered me a good deal on LVT and carpet. The owner was nice and accommodating. The installers did an excellent job as well. They noted a few problem areas in the floor before installing the LVT throughout the first level and suggested repairs. The added repairs to the total cost was reasonable. In the end, I chose one that the staff recommended, and it looks perfect in my kitchen, even though I forgot to bring the samples with me. I told them the names of the cabinets and the counter tops, and they looked them up on the computer. I would recommend always shopping here and bringing your samples with you.

Jennifer Barnett: I had a most unfortunate experience with Ideal Tile. The parking lot where they are located is extremely congested, and when I arrived to pick up my 9-year-old son from a class at the neighboring business, the parking lot was at a stand still. Cars were lined up all along the front of the businesses and no one could get by. A yoga class in the same building had just let out and cars were trying to pull out and get by but no one could at that moment. It was a total impasse. Someone pulled out of an Ideal Tile spot right in front of me and my only option was to pull into that space to allow cars to get past me. My son was going to be released from his class at any moment but he didn't have his coat and it was freezing outside and the parking lot was too dangerous for him to walk across alone so I ran inside with his coat to get him and walk him back safely to the car. It took me less than 3 minutes, but when I got back a tow truck had pulled up behind me and was about to tow my car. I asked him to please stop and explained that I had just run in for a moment to collect my son (and explained the exact circumstances) but the tow truck driver said that unless I paid him $25 in cash he wouldn't release my car. I didn't have any cash with me (and again, it was freezing out and it was 6:00 at night so it was dark out ) but he said that unless I went to an ATM right that moment he was going to tow me. I ended up having to run to an ATM across the street, which involved crossing 4 lanes of traffic in the freezing cold (I had to take my son back into the gym and leave him unsupervised while I did this). I later followed up with the manager of Ideal Tile and he informed me that he has a tow truck company on retainer and basically practices predatory towing. I find this type of business practice reprehensible. This is a small community and while I understand he is looking out for his business, he is doing it at the expense of other businesses and the members of his community. I would never shop at this store.
Response: Mrs. Barnett, I am sorry that your car got towed. As I explained, we do not benefit from their practices and that the building manager has made all the arrangements. Furthermore, I have to make sure that my clients have a place to park for their visits. There were other parking spaces reserved for the business you were visiting and they were all empty. At four o'clock, all our parking spots were taken. At 5:15, the building manager called for a tow truck, and when the truck arrived, he called to see if we had anyone in the showroom. When we said no, he towed the first car that was there. There are signs on the reserved parking spots. I did explain had you just stepped in and let us know you were going to pick up your kid, as a lot of other people do, your car would not have been touched. I wish you my best.
Amy Monsarrat: They have a decent selection of tile, but go elsewhere unless you have months to wait. Despite promising me a 10-day turnaround, it took more than a month for my tile to arrive. Each time I called, the staff acted like they had no responsibility for my deliveries, and "the warehouse" decided (apparently, randomly!) which tile made it onto the weekly truck. Their lack of customer service was appalling.
Response: I do apologize for the delay. There is no excuse for not getting the material when you were promised to get them. I know lately, a lot of vendors have reduced their scheduled deliveries. I can't say if your delay was caused by one of these schedule changes. I wish you would have called me personally.
Pei-Hsuen Liao: Good selection and lovely staff. Not the cheapest, but some really unique choices here.

Jim Schulman: The Jud Tile crews were dedicated and their workmanship standards very high. We especially appreciated that when we experienced a pipe leak the week BEFORE they were scheduled to renovate our bathroom, they came out early, diagnosed and corrected the leak, and started right in on conducting the renovation! They also set it up so that we could safely shower in our new curbless shower stall, even before the glass walls were installed, which we greatly appreciated. Beverly Kaye: I hired Jud Tile to redo my downstairs bathroom in 2017. The bathroom turned out spectacular as you can see in the attached picture. Jud suggested the "knee wall" and his staff was most helpful with the tile selection. The workmen were very polite, careful and on time. I was so pleased with the bathroom results I hired them to redo my hall and laundry room in 2018. I would definitely recommend Jud Tile and plan to use them for my future projects.
Keith B Jenkins: Jud Tile has provided creativity, quality workmanship, and professional guidance in needed changes in our home. Key projects are 1) conversion of an indoor pool and spa to a sunroom, 2) conversion of the sunroom shower area to be handicap accessible, and 3) conversion of master bedroom shower to be handicap accessible. Due to the effects of pool chemicals on the fieldstone floor and medical issues, we decided to remove the pool and spa and create a pleasant sunroom. Jud Tile worked with us on room design, tile selection, and fireplace design. Their work was excellent and precise. (Reference picture # 1) At the time the sunroom was constructed, we did not include upgrading the shower to handicapped accessible. When that time came, they led us through the design and selection of the tile and hardware. Their design was excellent, and the installation was precise. They did all that was necessary to have the room ready before scheduled holiday parties. (Reference picture # 2) The conversion of the master bath shower to handicapped accessible was a tough design problem. The original tile and its deco tile are no longer available. To avoid replacement of all of the floor tile in the bathroom, they created a carpet tile and re-grouted the existing tile to create a smooth transition. This creativity avoided the need to replace all of the bathroom tiles. An additional problem was that our master tub had deco tile that detracted from the new tile. Their professional installer removed that deco tile with no damage to adjacent tiles and installed new deco tile that was used in the shower. (Reference pictures # 3, 4, & 5) Our experience is that they are excellent problem solvers, professional designers, precise installers, and deep concern for the satisfaction of the customer.
Kelly Gorsuch: One of the most terrible experiences. I was helped by an unsupervised salesman named Steve working his first day. He ordered the wrong tile. Hey, it happens. But when I called to remedy the situation, I was flatly told that I was to blame since the invoice didn't specify the options of the showroom tile they showed me. I don't work there so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know that. After giving them several chances to treat me like a human they basically told me to kick rocks. If I wanted them to remedy the situation, well, I'd just have to go ahead and pay for a whole new order of tile. So, here I am with an order of tile I cannot use, out the money, and no solution. Silver lining: I purchased with my Am Ex so I'm going to dispute the claim and get my money returned anyway.
poco m: This shop is a gem in Vienna! I bought tile here twice, once for a kitchen backsplash and once for a sunroom floor. The selection is huge and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The showroom is beautiful and full of inspiration. All-in-all, it was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

Aleph Beta: Had good initial experience, but it really depends on who you luck out with at the store. John is great, but everyone else there could care less and basically tell you to go pound sand or shop at Home Depot. The post-purchase customer service is also horrendous. My product arrived over 3 weeks late and I received no apology whatsoever, and when I needed additional pieces to complete the project, I was grossly overcharged. Rating two stars instead of one, as they have fair prices on vinyl, but if you’re looking for reliable service go to elsewhere.

We had both carpet and luxury vinyl flooring installed. The floors look FANTASTIC and we found no errors or adjustments to be made. We found Carpetland as we were unhappy with another vendor and decided to make a change. We are extremely happy that we did. Finally, after our work was completed, I reached out to John for a third service. While Carpetland does not provide that service (hardwood deep cleaning), John promptly suggested another company with contact information to reach that vendor AND a time that they were available. AMAZING!! Not only was the service unparalleled from the sales to the installation, the price was reasonable and we couldn't be happier. We can't recommend Carpetland enough and we hope to use John's service again. THANK YOU!!

Here is my experience; OK - when I spoke with (John Y the sales person) I told him premium carpet and I knew exactly what my square footage or yards measurement for area I needed done. John was very professional and quoted me a price on Mohawk carpet, pad and install that was excellent. I also researched price and knew his bid was very competitive. Perfect install and easy payment on credit card. I would buy from Baileys Crossroads Carpetland again!
A L: Carpet stores are kind of like that mystery of mattress stores. How do they afford that kind of real estate space selling something that everyone has but is only bought occasionally? Well, in the case of this Carpetland, it is the professionalism they are selling that makes it such an amazing value. I am not surprised that Johns face is the first image for this business. His professionalism and customer service is at the premium level, leaving no doubt why people come to this business. John went above and beyond to get us the runner carpet for my sons play area we ordered. He actually drove to a different location after work and brought it to our home before a long weekend. Because of that, my wife and I got to see his first steps last night because he had enough traction with his walker. We really appreciate that. The carpet was great, but John was amazing. I highly recommend this business and especially John.

Jay helped us with carpet selection; John did precise measurements and recommended the best layout with minimal waste. Carpet installers were incredible, arrived at 6:30 a.m., were extra careful with my furniture; did not leave until 6:00 p.m with minimal lunch break. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG with Carpetland. Kevin Phillips: Highly recommended, these guys SAVED US! Made the mistake of using Empire and had our installation cancelled twice (twice!!!). Went to Carpetland and they sold and installed our carpet 2 hours later for cheaper than Empire. Super helpful staff, didn’t try to sell to us, got us exactly what we needed. Awesome experience.
Michele Beasley: Poor workmanship on installation of runner on stairway. The job was incomplete and I was told by the owner it would only take twenty minutes to do the job. The landing was left with padding only and no carpet. This is the worse customer service I have ever received and will never return to the store for future services. The work quality was terrible and not worth 443.00 to carpet 14 steps.
Steve Czechanski: Horrible installation of tile. Regret the entire ordeal. Tile was not centered in room in either direction leaving small strips of tile at the doorway. Damage to existing wall tile that was caulked and not replaced. At least one tile was not even with the other tiles leaving a ledge of 1/16" which allows water to pool on the floor. Installation of the tile was to be with the length to the door - it went the other way. Once started, I conceded to the installer we would live with it. We did not plan to live with the rest of the errors. Carpetland only offered a 100.00 discount for the poor work claiming this was their BEST installer and this is how it's done. I did business with Carpetland for 30 years. I notified the salesman WITH photo's and he never had the courtesy to reply. Instead there was the insistence to pay the balance. The installer came over to look at it and he only complained of not being paid but did not offer to correct his mistakes. It's too late for me. Please learn from my mistake and pick another company that will stand by their work. Sad I have to give one star to post. They don't deserve it.

David C: Had good initial experience, but it really depends on who you luck out with at the store. Jon is great, but everyone else there could care less and basically tell you to go pound sand or shop at Home Depot. The post-purchase customer service is also horrendous. My product arrived over 3 weeks late and I received no apology whatsoever, and when I needed additional pieces to complete the project, I was grossly overcharged. Rating two stars instead of one, as they have fair prices on vinyl, but if you’re looking for reliable service go elsewhere.
