A. Rachel: I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Eric, and it was the best massage I’ve had in years. The whole experience felt restorative holistically. The ambiance inside is classy but subdued, and the staff is friendly and Covid-conscious. My massage therapist, Eric, is the perfect combination of skill, kindness, and conscientiousness. I explained how I struggle with posture and carry so much stress in my neck and upper shoulders. I got a huge amount of pain relief out of the session, and my muscle knots felt like they were melting away like butter on toast. If you need especially heavy pressure, I highly recommend Eric. Also: as a woman, I greatly appreciated his emphasis on ensuring I felt safe and comfortable. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I came in with chronic neck and shoulder pain and Hannah sat down and listened to my concerns and problem areas before getting started. All I can say is the 75 minutes blissfully went by. Her techniques are firm but gentle and she pays close attention to how you are feeling throughout. The ambiance of her studio adds to the overall relaxing and calming experience. I could immediately feel a difference in my muscles and felt so light and chill for the rest of the night. I will definitely be coming back!

Eric Jackman: I’ve gotten a few massages from Ivo over the past year or so, and he’s definitely the best I’ve found in this area. If you’re looking for an actually therapeutic massage with a decent amount of pressure, he’s your guy. Easy to book appointments with, friendly and easygoing in person, and leaves you feeling stress-free and light as a feather.
Peter Colohan: Ivo is probably the best massage therapist in DC. I’ve been coming to him for years for pesky back and shoulder tension, and I always feel like a new human after his treatment. This week, as we were preparing to move out of our apartment, I twisted my back on a Thursday morning, and by Saturday I knew something had to be done about the unpredictable muscle spasms before move day. Ivo saw me that evening and resolved it. Painful to the touch when he started, he worked around the most painful tense area until it subsided, and ultimately worked on the spot directly. Pain gone. He is also always incredibly kind and gracious. Thank you Ivo!!

After sustaining an injury, the very helpful massage therapists at Georgetown Massage and Bodyworks helped me to recovery and manage my pain. I currently visit about once a month because bodywork has become an integral part of my wellness routine, thanks to the specialized and effective care I consistently receive here!

Most of them have worked there for years and the owner Alison has been in the area more then 10! Edit: New location, same great service! Right across Wisconsin from the old location, still upstairs but quite the upgrade! There are a lot of regulars so it can be hard to get an appointment sometimes but if you put yourself on the wait list you might get lucky!

Debrework Zewdie: Daniel is a healer! He is selfless and works so hard to make people well. After suffering from a neck and shoulder pain for ten months and after all kinds of treatments I feel pain free after only a few sessions with Daneil. He is the best!

I’ve had massages with Shuichi, Margaret, Tim, Theresa and Shalicia and all of them were fantastic. They all have different styles and strengths but I would not hesitate to book an apt with any of them.
Marcella Labellarte: Lunar Massage has changed my life! I’ve lived in DC for 4 years and will soon be leaving, and I don’t know if I’ll ever find a massage comparable to Shuichi’s. I have seen him multiple times and tell everyone I know that he is a massage saint and a muscle whisperer - he has performed true miracles for me. I live with chronic illness, so I always have a lot of stress, which manifests in my body in painful ways. Christina Brathwaite: My new self-care haven! We had a bit of a bumpy start, but the owner, Scott, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. My neck and back have been bothering me for the last few weeks, and finally escalated to me waking up a couple days ago in pretty intense pain. When I first went to Euphoria to get it massaged out, my masseuse didn’t use quite enough pressure/technique to fix it. When I was paying she asked me how it was and I mentioned that my neck and shoulder still hurt, but paid and left thinking that I would just need to find another solution. The owner, Scott, called me a couple hours later and offered to personally make it right by scheduling a free follow-up massage. The follow-up session was incredible. My neck, back and shoulders were way worse than I even thought and Scott took extra time to make sure he worked as much of it out as possible. He also recommended stretches and exercises to help fix the issues with my rotator cuffs, which will hopefully mean that my body won’t get this bad again. I also have to say that it can obviously be awkward going back to an establishment when you’ve complained about not being happy with some aspect of service, but my initial masseuse was there when I arrived and she was still super professional and friendly despite the circumstances, which I really appreciated. It was such a great follow-up experience that I scheduled another appointment with Scott on the spot for a couple weeks from now. I’m happy to be adding Euphoria to my self care routine!

Emily Adamson: Maru was just wonderful - I explained it was my first time and so she was very kind to give me basic rundowns as she led me through the appointment. I felt secure and safe - not embarrassed at all. It was so easy to book through the website and the people directing me in were very kind. The place is clean and comfortable. Maru clearly had lots of experience and I was grateful for her help. I work with backpacks and lots of standing, and I left feeling put back together, in a sense. The only issue I had was finding the place, but that was solved when I realized the business had helpfully posted a photo of the outside as a direction assistant. The man inside was able to further point me to where I needed to go. I would recommend this business and wish I had the time to go again next week.

atophardie: I found Touch online, close to my office, so decided to try it. I was diagnosed sometime back with old muscle trauma in my neck and shoulders, a source of chronic discomfort. I usually seek out physiotherapists when the discomfort is unbearable, but the wait for an appointment was too long. Iris was my deep tissue technician, and she found the trouble spots and worked them over while attending to my entire spine and legs. She clearly was experienced, and her actions felt similar to that of sports physiotherapists I have used in the past. I could feel the loosening while on the table, and by the next morning my range of neck and shoulder muscle motion was normal. Iris checked in with me about my tolerance for pressure, and with consent did the job. I will be going back.

Erick Perez: I had my massage today and it was EXCELLENT!!! The new location is easy to get to, relaxing space, beautiful decoration, super clean, and Dario was very professional. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time. He asked exactly what areas needed work and how much pressure I felt comfortable with. My massage felt amazing, all my tight spots now feel great. I highly recommend him. I am definitely booking my next body massage with him.

He talks specifically to you about what issues you’re having. His technique is wonderful for anyone who has chronic pain. Mikela did great, it was like her hands has sensors that she can really determine the right spots where pressure is needed. My body ache was lightened after she perfectly hit on the frozen shoulders, back, buttocks and legs. It’s a bit pricey but worth it though.

Maryam Nabavi: I had my first session with Ben a few days ago. It was absolutely wonderful. I usually get deep tissue massages, but I really liked his combination technique. The bed had a heater on it, which added to the experience. I highly recommend this place!

Christopher Goss: I love how Ben takes the time to really get to know you and listen to your needs. His warm personality and cozy studio provide the perfect escape from day-to-day stresses. Ben’s technique, using a combination of his hands and forearms to work your body, is just perfect to work out tight muscles. Booking online is a snap and Ben is very accommodating of varying schedules. The Brookland location is very convenient and there’s plenty of street parking available.

Ch He: I just had my first massage with Christos. It was excellent. I’ve had dozens of massages across the US. I place this massage among the top 5, and I’m a tough grader. Access to the building was easy, the facility was very clean and the heated table very comfortable. I asked for a heavy pressure massage and Christos delivered. In addition, Christos is friendly without being intrusive. The importance he places on professionalism was very evident.
Todd Mason: Christos is insanely talented and gifted. The combination massage was very much needed. I didn’t realize how tight my body was until the session was over. The beginning was intense yet so much relief. Christos is an attentive listener and communicator, working out tough tension spots in a way I didn’t know was possible! I prefer heavy pressure for my massages, I usually get deep tissue or pressure point massages, and Christos did not disappoint! Writing this review makes me want to call and book another! Great service and he was able to get me an appointment on the day after we spoke. If you live in/near DC/VA and haven’t found the Massuer you need to repair muscle/joint/body aches, you need Christos!
Sharon Chae Haver: As good as everyone else says. Christos was attentive to my requests for better energy and mobility, and focused on not just a traditional massage (I chose the deep tissue) but very active, prescriptive assisted stretches that targeted my sciatica issues and posture. Afterward he also took the time to teach me at home exercises which no massage therapist had ever done before. I think he really understands and cares about the musculature and physiology of the human body. Massages are already powerful but this was next level!
Alexx Pons: Chris was outstanding - super nice guy, very warm energy, and clearly has a passion for what he’s doing - he understands the body and walks you through everything he’s doing so you better understand his technique. He was very accommodating with my schedule, which was fantastic, and he checked in frequently during our session to ensure I was responding appropriately to the movements and pressure. If you are looking for an actual massage therapist in the DC area, I would highly recommend him!
Robb Murray: My 90 minute massage with Christos was the best I’ve had in years. He asked all the right questions and gave me a massage that showed he clearly listened and tailored the experience for me. I’ve been to a number of therapists in the past who couldn’t apply enough pressure, and that was not an issue with Christos. Highly recommend.
Abigail Diaz: Chris was incredible and so professional. I went in with a tight neck to move right to left. I would say, if you are in deep pain and understand the difference between a sports massage and a spa massage Chris is focused on the healing when a sports injury has occurred. As a woman I felt comfortable with him and he walked me through what he was doing. Also a plus that some insurance is accepted.
Benjamin International: Professional and knowledgeable. I’ve received many deep tissue massages over the years for neck and back pain, and I can say without a doubt this one was the best. Chris took the time to assess my posture and asked questions about my medical history. He offered suggestions on how to improve genuinely seemed interested in helping me out. Not to mention he had a great playlist! Can’t recommend him enough.
David Goldich: Amazing massage with stretching specific to my problem areas. Christos gave me excellent stretching exercise advice as well. I hate massages and highly recommend Christos. It was an awesome experience and I feel great. If you’re looking for pain relief, go see him!

Masseuse: Najmah was awesome, she’s one of the best massage therapist I ever had, and I’ve been going to multiple locations for years. She found all the tension/tight area and did an amazing job loosening/ releasing the tension. Covid related: you have to wear mask when you go to the location and when you are facing up. Price: it’s a little on the high end, but they do have some deals online where you buy 3 sessions and get 1 free. Overall: I’m happy with my experience, and will be going back here.

When you first walk it you completely forget your in a home spa. It feels the same as a traditional store front. It’s beautiful, clean, peaceful and very professional. They checked my temperature and made sure I followed covid procedures. My masseuse was Shay D. And he was great definitely recommend him. He was polite, professional and funny. The massage was great beyond great I am a customer for life. I’m a hairstylist so I’m always in pain. But I feel amazing. And he stretched my arms and legs at the end. I’ve never had that. His technique was different than all the other massages I’ve had. He really stood out! The owner was really nice too, while I waited for my ride she made me feel comfortable and didn’t make me feel rushed. AND I got to keep the rest of the aromatherapy he used, and it’s a nice amount too! Definitely an amazing experience. Wonderful business! 6-stars!

Chloe Bootstaylor: Excellent facials and peels! The staff is very friendly and informative about what you need for your skin. The space is a also very clean and they take covid-19 precautions seriously. I always love coming here to take a break from the world and relax. Jamila Jenkins: Tried out TuSuva instead of going to another massage place and I was pleasantly surprised. My facial with Negin was lovely. I wish as long but my face felt amazing afterwards. I had a massage with Megan and she will put you to sleep! Overall amazing experience. The only thing I would say is the waiting area can be very noisy and not as calming as I would have liked. But I definitely will be coming back for my techs!

benz: Amazing services. Great Father’s Day from my wife. I received a 1 hour massage which included the back scrubs and hot stones. My masseuse, Yordonas was AMAZING. She did such a wonderful job in targeting the areas which I needed some relief. Did not feel rushed. She was super attentive and always checking if the pressure was good and how I was feeling. One of the best massages that I have received. Definitely going back for another massage with her.
Elizabeth Hoke: I received a 1.5 hr trigger point massage at Bluebell spa to treat debilitating sudden back pain and muscle spasms. I threw out my back on Wednesday, with symptoms peaking on Thursday evening. I booked an appointment for Friday morning and walked out a changed woman. I literally went from experiencing extreme lower back pain every time I walked, turned, or stood up to being comfortably mobile after the massage. I am so grateful for the work they did and will be returning. I did book the appointment with a female masseuse, but they gave me a male masseuse. I’m not sure why the switch happened, but it didn’t end up being a problem at all. The male masseuse I had was incredibly professional and tailored the appointment to my requests.

Sandy Ovalle: Amaaz is a great therapist! She made sure to address my concerns and took her time. You can tip by venmo or cash, which I prefer so therapists can get their money right away. The sign was not very visible so I first tipped on my debit card and then when i saw it I asked them to cancel since it seems like the payment was still processing. The receptionist assured me she cancelled the transaction. I requested a receipt for that, but she could not give it to me. I paid again since she assure me the transaction was indeed cancelled. When I reviewed my bank transactions the next day I realized I was accidentally charged twice. It took a while to get a hold of someone who could reverse that charge. But once I did, they reversed it without a problem.

ludivine gendre: I have attended physical therapy sessions for two months with Mary Davern for pelvic floor rehabilitation after 3 pregnancies. The experience I had was amazing! Mary has been very kind, positive and attentive to my needs all along the sessions, she gave me confidence and helped me to better relax the pelvic floor while strengthening my core. I was able to run a half marathon without feeling any discomfort thanks to her great support.
