Samantha Link: Upholstery Restoration & Select Fabrics did a fantastic job on three pieces I needed to be redone. I had two vintage loveseats and one bench that were in complete disrepair. They worked with me to figure out exactly how I wanted to reupholster everything which took me multiple visits to the store. They have a lot of options to choose from- and they took the time with me to really help me hone in on the vibe and the fabric that I wanted. Picking up the pieces and delivery was also easy and great. Amazing work takes time and they really did a thorough job of restoring my pieces. My old worn out furniture looks completely new and modern. The loveseats meant a lot to me because they were my late grandmother’s and great grandmother’s furniture and I am glad I entrusted my pieces to them. They look killer and so different but also retain the beauty of what makes older furniture so special. I have an older armchair that I am entrusting to them next. Anyway- if you are looking to invest in redoing old pieces- this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!!!

My-Self S: Miss Keneisha 10+ she was amazing , I drove all the way from Virginia to the store, sense that was the only store that was showing that has Cricut mugs available. When I got there I could not find any on the floor. I passed by Miss Keneisha and ask her about it she told me everything was at the front. I when to the front and the cashier said there did not have any. I when back to the website and it still was showing that there had 16 left. Miss Keneisha saw me looking around and said that she will help me after she is done with a customer. Few sec later she came and ask me to show her what I was looking for, after that she checked again and said she will look in the back sense she could not find any on the floor either. She left and few min later ,came back with a big box of all 16 mugs. I was so happy I was jumping out of the joy from inside. What I want to say thank you Miss Keneisha for going out of your way to help me find the mugs. I appreciate it so much.

I love that the collections are very unique. I should mention the sales associates. One time I wanted to make a hat for a high tea. The sales associate asked me a few important questions "have I done this craft before?" She had the best shortcut idea and it looked AMAZING! The other day I was in therr for fall crafts and guess what? IT WAS STILL FALL!! Great selection and again the sales rep was very helpful and friendly to all of his customers.

Amber Riley: I came here because there are very few options in Fredericksburg, VA for fabric. I was getting alterations done to my wedding dress and needed a very specific color and fabric type that is hard to find. The ladies here went out of their way to help me find the fabric as well as the netting and educated me on the difference between fabric types. I really wish I could recall who assisted me, but she was a doll and even went in the back to try and find lace applique that would match. I gave my recommendation to my tailor to send people to this store.

The major sections I noticed are notions, fashion, quilting, and home dec; not sure if there are more, as I mostly lurked in quilting. The quilting section is broken into many subsections by theme and color, e.g. solids, florals, batiks, stripes, etc. I was shopping for 19 different fabrics for a quilt and found everything I needed easily. I’m remembering so many prints I liked and would have bought if I weren’t already buying so much lol. There was one employee in particular working checkout who brightened my day just by being so cheerful, and the first thing I saw when I walked in was her aggressively sanitizing a shopping cart before putting it away. My minor complaints are the thread selection didn’t fit my preferences, and the prepackaged batting supply was sparse and needed restocking. I will have to continue to buy large cotton thread cones online.

We have worked with them for a couple years now and it is always a pleasure to collaborate. Their team is very professional and a great resource for the latest and greatest in design trends and how to best utilize materials to suite your particular project. Would definitely recommend visiting their showroom in DC.

I was able to use existing fabric for one project so it matched other drapes . I was also able to find complementary fabric with existing window treatments in a bedroom. Installation was done very efficiently and competently. The people involved were very knowledgeable and creative. I am very happy with all the products and services of Mill End Shops.

RCS S: There’s a lot of good deals. 70% off on all Christmas decorations or holiday stuffs and 40%off on some items in store. There’s also some 30%off on selected items. Their clearance items are pretty good deal. So much things to see aside from holidays items.
Leo: Came looking for new headliner fabric and the staff were super friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. Very pleased with the results !
MG: A large store which is well stocked. I always find good stuff here and I like the larger shopping center which contains a T.J. Maxx, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and movie theatre, and other cool stuff. Plenty of space to park and well-lit.
Jessica Fisher: Well organized and lots of products to choose from. Cutting counter staff can be understaffed or overwhelmed with orders at times, so you may have to wait a bit (make sure you get a number!). Even still, i prefer to go here vs the smaller Joann stores in the area.

Ellie: I love this shop for the sheer volume of fabric they have available. The store is not very organized but that is the beauty of it- give yourself time to wander around and see what you can find. From my experience this shop mostly stocks woven fabrics and few knits (or perhaps I missed them!). There are some notions on the shelves- zippers, decorative ribbon- but if you need something specific you will have to ask the owner who keeps lots of small items (hook and eyes, needles, etc) in the counter. All the fabric I have purchased was very inexpensive and I look forward to visiting again!

Tim Gronniger: Great service, great products, reasonable timeline. Mill End Shops helped us evaluate a fairly big project with window treatments for 11 windows. The results are beautiful and the products are working smoothly.

It was very easy and I am very happy with the final product. They did an excellent job. I had my dining room chairs done and they were a gift from my mother-in-law. Beth Hulfish: I remember as a child, running and getting things from the Market Square shop, silver polish, candles, napkins, fabric samples etc. My mom would park outside and I would be sent to pick up these items. I purchased my first piece of furniture from Market Square. A beautiful love seat. Now, over 30 years later it still looks great! Lasted longer then my marriage! Still going strong!! Best service, Best merchandise in Town!

Janie Bowerbank: Great place and so organized. It is massive in si e with so much to buy. I think is has been the best JoAnnes I have been to. Many options fir fabrics and threads. Loads of materials to get your craft on!
Robin Frank: This new Joann Fabric Store is nothing like all others I’ve visited. It’s beautiful, spacious, and well stocked with a huge open learning / creation space in the middle of the store. Plus there’s equipment you can rent for quilting and creating. I hope to take a class there soon.
Ms. Christine Medina: This is a really nice store. It is nice and clean and well stocked and well staffed. They have a huge variety of fabric and yarn, plus a ton of other stuff. The Cricut machines and supplies covers at least 4 or 5 aisles. You can find almost anything here for any sort of craft. But a word of warning about prices: The prices in the store are not necessarily the same as the prices in the ad or on the website The shelf prices at this store seem to be a bit higher (as noted in the fine print in the ad.) But I will still pick this Joann as my go-to fabric store.

Sometimes the Bernat section is a little low but that could have been the timing of when I went. Carry standard sizes and lengths in knitting needles so still can only get about maximum 28 inches on the circular needles but I’ve always had to order longer ones. It’s worth the drive. Plus I used curbside service so it was a quick transaction.

Stacy Lemery: Having a West Elm accessible to bus and metro lines is great for residents of the DC area. There is always lots more online, but being able to see the quality of bedding, furniture, etc in person makes a big difference. I have purchased a bed, bedding, hallway shelving, a shoe rack, curtains, candle holders, and other decor from West Elm.
Eric Overton: Staff at this store were basically useless and didn’t seem to know much about the products for sale. Fortunately, I was only there to test a floor model before buying online. Shipping was fast with only two weeks between purchase and delivery. Delivery dudes were both prompt and chill.
Geneva: I was wary of buying from this store based on some of the reviews here; however, after a year of searching for the right sectional, I found the perfect one for me at West Elm. I received good service from the store. The sales person was very clear that my sectional - which I bought in November for a nice discount - would not arrive until early January. As promised, I got calls and emails from the delivery department the second week of January and was able to schedule a date that worked for me. The two delivery guys were amazing - they had to maneuver their big truck down a narrow alley to get to the loading dock. They were professional and efficient and out of my apartment in less than 15 minutes. The sectional is exactly what I wanted and so comfortable.

Rachel Holmer: This is a great store. Well stocked. Clean. Easy to navigate. Please don’t visit if you are in a hurry. The fabric cutters are usually fast but takes a while for fabric to be cut and to check out. The busyness of the store is somewhat unpredictable.
