Safari Raha: Dr.Rustin Levy an excellent doctor. When I arrived, I was greeted by the affable receptionist Ms. Kiana (sp). She was extremely courteous, friendly and professional. In other words, I felt welcome! She handed me a tablet to fill out and sign all the documents electronically - evidence of a dental practice that is equipped for the twenty-first century. She was fast and efficient. She quickly called my dentist who referred me to Dr. Levy for a gum issue and my dental X-rays were quickly emailed to me and then I forwarded to Dr. Levy’s office email. As soon as I completed my paperwork from the tablet (absolutely no papers), I was warmly invited in by Suzy (Dr. Levy’s assistant I believe). Suzy was impeccably courteous and made me very comfortable as she got me seated, ready for Dr. Levy. Dr. Levy walked in almost immediately and warmly greeted me. He is a very nice gentleman, extremely friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Levy is extremely knowledgeable and he thoroughly explained what could irritate gum - which is why I was referred to him. The office is extremely clean and everything looks brand new. Even when I went to use the bathroom down the hall, everything was very neat - I thought I was the first person to visit this office but it was 3:00 PM! That is how clean everything looked. Location is also very convenient. The parking garage is in the same building and I paid only $17 for 2 hours - a great bargain in DC. If you need to see a periodontist, I highly recommend Advanced Periodontics of Washington DC. I drove 2 hours from Stafford Virginia and it was absolutely worth it. Isn’t every reasonable person’s desire to deal with a medical office that oozes expertise and exemplary customer service? This is that office!
Sharon Jessup: Dr. Levy is an excellent periodontist, he is friendly and always has a good story. He puts the patient at ease. I had no discomfort afterwards. Kiana, his assistant is helpful. Dr. Levy has up to date diagnostic equipment. I highly recommend Dr. Levy and Kiana.

David Yaffe: Needless to say, one does not go to a periodontist without some apprehensions. For DC Perio & Implants. those apprehensions are quickly dissipated. I was treated straightforwardly from the initial setting of my appointment for a tooth extraction (and start of the process to a tooth implant) to the day of the appointment. The front office was efficient and polite in getting me ready for the procedure. When I was taken in, the equipment appeared to be state of the art and clean. There were two assistants who prepped me for the procedure; were personable and clearly concerned about my comfort. They explained the process of the procedure and clearly explained the requirements and steps following the procedure. Dr Abron came in; was friendly and clearly responsive to my request for a description of the process. The anesthetic and following process were performed expeditously and with explanation to me. I look forward to the rest of the process culminating in the tooth implant.

His staff made a smooth, efficient visit (including taking great Covid precautions). I wish more medical providers would take the time to explain the options in such great detail and present the financial breakdown in a simple way.

They did a follow up call on the day of my surgery to ensure that I was okay. They scheduled follow ups to ensure the procedure was successful. The location was convenient in downtown DC next to metro stops. Would highly recommend.
Jennifer G. Anderson: I found DC Perio & Implants through the recommendation of my dentist, and had gum graft surgery here in June 2021. Dr. Abron did an amazing job! He even answered my text over the weekend when I was concerned about one of the surgery sites. The staff is kind and friendly, and importantly, they make sure you know how much you’ll owe out of pocket before your procedure. Would recommend!
Robin Schuman: If anything positive can be said about having a tooth molar pulled; unexpectedly it can be said about Dr. Abron, DDS, MD. I was his last appointment on December 30th -- he took extra time to complete what was not scheduled, did so painlessly for me. I was able to walk home afterward and healed smoothly, according to the printout I went home with. He even took time to call day after to check on me. Thought he was great, as was his staff.

She has a very calming manner and completely inspires my confidence in her professional knowledge. I was amused that she hummed softly to herself while she was examining my teeth. It made me think she must really like what she does.
Carolyn Murray: I have been in the caring hands of Dr. Cram for over 30 years. She continues to care for my teeth and gums just as she did when I first saw her. I am 70 years old, still have all my teeth, no gum disease, one cavity, and an extremely healthy mouth. She says it is because I do what as she asks, which may be true, but she is the one who tells me how and what to do. I really feel I am her only patient. That is how she makes you feel with each visit. The thing I like above all else is her small, gentle hands that fit in my small mouth. I highly recommend Dr. Cram to anyone with gum issues. She will almost painlessly set you on the right track. She is the best!

Natasha Jenkins: Dr Zalewsky and his team are amazing!! He saw me same day. He took out my sore tooth immediately - no need to come back again. Dr Z explained everything to me and drew lots of diagrams. His staff were very kind and even looked after my friend who drove me while she waited for me. My dentist told me Dr Z was the best. And he was right! Would not see anyone else. And they even filed my insurance.
Mike Persico: No one likes going to the dentist. However, Dr Zalewsky and his staff do their best to make it a pleasant experience. They genuinely care that you receive the best treatment during your appointment and explain what will happen to you.
Sarah Dunning: I’ve had gum grafts done on two separate occasions at the Alexandria office and have always had a wonderful experience with the staff. They are very professional and caring. Dr. H called me after each procedure to check in on me and made himself available off-hours for additional questions. When my insurance company messed up my claims or estimates, the staff at this office have worked diligently to get me accurate information as soon as possible, sometimes not leaving for holiday until they knew the issue was taken care of for me. Most importantly, my gums look great! I highly recommend.
Temp Mayberry: Dr. Zalewsky and his team were thorough in explaining procedures and answering my many questions, professional in performing procedures and delivering great care, and concerned and complete in follow-up to ensure that all was right. My first (and hopefully last) experience with implants (x3) but they did an outstanding job in making me feel at ease throughout the entire process.
Lindsay Guers: I have had two procedures done by Dr. Zalewsky and both times I have had great results. Both times Dr. Zalewsky and his staff were genuinely kind and caring, they were more than happy to answer the million questions I had. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable during the procedures and reached out later in the day to ensure everything was okay. It was a great overall experience from the initial consultation through the procedures and follow on check ups. Dr. Zalewsky is very knowledge, he knew exactly what procedures would work best for my gum recession to ensure my issues would not return. I appreciate his honesty even though one of the procedures was more painful (traditional gum grafting), I was happy to know it would be a once and done surgery to fix my lower gum recession issue. My second procedure was the pinhole surgical technique to fix my upper gum recession, which I was so pleased by. It was a quick surgery with less than a week recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Zalewsky and his team for any periodontic work!

Jonathan Berger: Dr. Levine is an absolutely top flight periodontist. No one is more expert. His staff are wonderful, too — Rachel, Yesenia, Nancy, Robin and Sheri are professional, helpful and charming. They make the experience seamless. All of this expertise comes at a price, of course. This is a Park Avenue practice, so expect to pay for the stellar level of care. I’ve had 2 gum surgeries here and never felt pain in my mouth, only in my hip (where I keep my wallet). That said, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Calley Asbill: Dr. Puterman is what is right with healthcare. He is extremely skilled, consistently voted top periodontist for a reason, and handled my very complex and difficult single front tooth case with a professionalism rarely seen. The part I will always remember, however, is his kindness. Needing this type of work is scary. Knowing his skill and experiencing his kindness helped me through the ordeal and provided me with amazing results. I simply could not recommend him and his team enough.

Patricia Ritzenberg: Even though I love this practice and would not go anywhere else, I had a problem yesterday at my appointment. My appointment was for 11:00. I waited for 1 hour until the Doctor came into see me. I kept asking how much longer I would be waiting. They kept saying he would be right in. He never apologized when he finally came in to see me. They really should have let me know he was running late before I drove there. I only waited because it’s very hard to get appointments.
Telo Braswell: I received outstanding TMJ treatment from Dr. Michael Singer. I went to his office with my jaw out of alignment and making loud cracking noises. Dr. Singer performed several stretching maneuvers in my mouth which were gentle and painless. The stretching did not immediately put my jaw back in alignment so he proceeded to fit me for a device to wear 9 months. Within two hours after I left the office, I opened my mouth and my jaw went back in place. The stretching had been effective after all. I had an appointment 2 weeks later to pick up the device that he made for me. Once Dr. Singer saw that my jaw was back in alignment, he concluded that I no longer needed the device. He never mentioned charging me for the device or any costs associated with making it. I highly recommend Dr. Singer. He is an expert in his field (I did the research) and clearly knows what he is doing. From my experience, he is dedicated to helping people, not just making money. You will find that he will explain every detail associated with your condition and its treatment. He is by far one of the most caring doctors you will ever encounter.

James Aldridge: In previous years working with Dr. Eskow was great, he put you at ease. This time working with Dr. Yourself was fantastic, gentle with excellent skill. I was a little tense and she put me completely at ease, great heart, soul, and skill.
jane friedman: I saw Dr Eskow for a long overdue periodontal exam. As usual, his assessment and advice were well thought out. I had deep pockets in my gums. Sarah, the excellent hygienist, helped me understand by showing me the problem areas w a mirror. She numbed my entire mouth and did deep scaling for two hours, skipping her lunch. And then she wrote my after care instructions and explained them all to me. This is a terrific and highly skilled perio practice. The only down side: the price.
NORMA GARDNER: I accepted the recommendation from my husband Phil to have Dr Roy Escow extract and have implants replace two of my teeth. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in and sat down, near me speakers with low volume 60’s music was playing. Maria the reception greeted me with hello and a smile. (Thanks to a Covid mask I wasn’t sure about the smile). Maria’s hello sounded like a smile was attached. Next another Maria, Dr Escow’s assistant came out to greet me and ask “Are you ready? In all my visits, “We are ready for you!“ was never said. Next the very interesting,entertaining, and tall Dr Escow walked into the room. I know his credentials are long and impressive but he presented himself as a regular guy. I’m not sure what came over me. (Fairy Dust maybe) I felt immediately relaxed. We spoke as if we were old friends. DrEscow was very compassionate. He and Maria exchanged events and stories in their lives that distracted and entertained me during my procedure. I’ve met other members of the office team they were positive and very friendly. Recommending Dr Escow is like recommending your favorite restaurant to friends. Next time I go the line will be around the building. Oh well that’s ok. ❤️ Norma Gardner

The operations staff are super helpful in finding appointment times and very responsive if you ever need to call. The dentists and hygienists do excellent work. They’ve always answered every single one of my questions and have provided useful guidance on dental care. I appreciate the time and attention to detail that they devote toward making teeth as healthy as possible.

Emily Crespin: Dr Gouldin and his team are my favorite! Gum graft surgery isn’t exactly something I want to experience again but I’ve had it done twice with Dr Gouldin (and once elsewhere) and I can say he’s the best. He uses gentle yet state of the art techniques and I’m impressed with the results and speed if healing. Everyone in the office is kind, friendly, and helpful. I’m very appreciative of the care and attention and highly recommend Northern VA Periodontics.

Anh Trang: Dr. Goulding is an outstanding periodontist. He did two implants for me last year and the year before and also for my wife. There was no bleeding after these implants that I was so surprised. The digital x-rays showed these implants were excellent. For each implant, he carefully evaluated and provided the detail procedure how he would do it. Then the office manager, Ms. MJ, (so sweet and extremely nice) went over each procedure and the cost of it. Everyone in the office was very professional and nice. I will come back again if I need another implant.
Nancy Greenwood: Dr. Gouldin is my first ( and only ) periodontist. My dentist recommended that I see him for a gum graph, which I put off for quite some time - fear of the unknown. The entire process was as easy as could be. The whole office staff is friendly and immediately puts you at ease. They understand that some people might be apprehensive about these type of dental procedures. In retrospect, there’s no reason to worry. Everything was explained to me in detail and I went into the surgery feeling very confident and comfortable. Pain was not an issue. The procedure was flawless. Even the recovery wasn’t bad. I totally recommend Dr. Gouldin and the staff at Northern Virginia Periodontics. I can’t imagine the process being any easier or better.

Victoria Ouellette: Aesthetic & Family Dentistry on Wisconsin Ave is the most incredible dentist I’ve ever been to! Every staff member is friendly and helpful. From booking to insurance to the services themselves, I am extremely satisfied! I was able to get a desirable appointment time (4:45 pm) that works with my schedule. While there, I found out I needed 2 fillings. During the appointment, Amie checked with my insurance so when I checked out I would know the exact cost to pay when I returned. She also helped me find an appointment just 5 days later to get the fillings! Khina was an amazing hygienist in my cleaning and was very friendly. Lamika was incredible as the hygienist during my fillings. Both Khina and Lamika made me feel so welcomed and talked with me as a person, not just a patient. Dr. Obholz is without a doubt a phenomenal dentist. She talked through every step of both appointments. She helped explain every step that she took and even showed me the pictures of the teeth that required fillings. Dr. O also provided above necessary care in offering numbing gel when she knew it would be a painful area. She talked through what the process would be like at my initial appointment and the day of. She completed both fillings with no numbing and I was in and out of the office within 15 minutes. I felt very comfortable the entire time and I am extremely happy to have found such an incredible office right in my neighborhood. If you are considering booking here, I highly recommend!

Aisha Muhammad: Dr. Siddiqui was very professional and thorough in her exam. She asked and answered a number of questions to really understand my dental history as a new client. She has a very calm and clear way of communicating. They do not have hygienist so she does the majority of that task with her assistants doing the less technical components of that task. My only complaint would be too many different assistants handling different tasks. Maybe in general it’s efficient organizing in a compartmentalized factory way, but you lose so much on the interpersonal end that way. I had about four different assistants doing different tasks in one visit. I was almost x-rayed twice due to this. Maybe one or two even introduced themselves and acknowledge me by name. Others were less friendly and very happy it was Friday. I think some of the assistants are new to the profession but they would benefit with some interpersonal/bedside manner training or something. I think if they follow the doc’s lead they’ll be fine. Lastly, when flossing my teeth during the cleaning, the young lady pulled the string through my teeth versus fighting with the string to pull upward. I get that’s easier it but I think you get more material out if you pull upwards. Pulling the string through, I don’t believe, satisfies the intended purpose.

This place just has a different vibration, something that sets it apart from other typical dental practices. I felt so well taken care of. I have honestly zero complaints, Dr. Nguyen is caring, clear, confident in what she’s doing and she’s s done a great job with my fillings. susan plinski: Mary Jane (M.J.) of Dr. Karl Smith’s office is a superb hygienist! She has the skills and perfect personality for the job. I’ve been seeing her for years and appreciate she keeps notes on my specific needs to make the appointment run smoothly. She takes time to check you’re feeling ok and adjusts things as needed. And, she just completed a continuing education course learning more techniques in her field. I wouldn’t see any other hygienist. BTW, Dr. Smith did a fantastic job on my implants. This is a wonderful dental practice.

Sierra: I was recommend Karl A. Smith by my primary Dentist for my surgical procedure. From day one his staff have provided superb customer service at both the Waldorf and Alexandria location. Today I visited the Alexandria location and had the pleasure of working with Courtney at the front desk and Kyler for my my actual procedure. Courtney was very welcoming and was able to multitask with checking me in while assisting a customer on the phone. At the end of my visit she ensured my checkout went smooth and quick. During my procedure Kyler helped keep my calm and even recommend a great place to get crepes based on our conversation of brunch ideas. Finally, Dr. Smith was also gentle during my procedure and very personal and showed he cared from start to finish. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.
Meron Solomon: My experience here was easily one of the top three dental experiences. I was referred here to take care of a tongue tie and the initial consult was on time, clean and direct. The front staff was so friendly and I was actually looking forward to the next appointment. Dr. Smith was reassuring and clearly knowledgeable. Not only was he super fun to talk with before the procedure, he also give my some great podcast suggestions. I didn’t even realize how anxious I was until I started calming down and I felt okay. That stuck out to me. Procedure went smoothly and post care instructions were reviewed. Sam Mengistu: Dr. S. Is a great clinician. Not only was she knowledgeable, her bedside manner is impeccable. I felt comfortable and at ease with her. I had thought I had been taking care of my teeth throughout the pandemic but luckily enough I decided to come in and see Dr. S 😬 It didn’t take long for her to sit me down and start the examination, as she went over my x-rays she made sure I understood what she was seeing and any questions I had she answered thoroughly. Once we got to the actual cleaning she made sure I was comfortable and stopped anytime I needed to to take a break. Afterwards she continued to check in on me and see how I was feeling, giving me aftercare tips and tricks because of how sensitive my gums were. Paul Mason: This dentist office is an absolutely true gem in Washington DC. I was totally impressed with the pleasant staff, and doctors at K St. Dental & Orthodontic. I got some x-rays, and a temporary crown put in on my visit. The air quality was superb and the office was tidied up and cleaned. You will not go wrong with this dental office. I’m a retired combat veteran, and I was very nervous with my first dental visit. I was at ease during the beginning to the end of my office visit.
