MarkEdge: I visited Dr. Stanard for a 4th opinion as to recommended gum transplants for my mouth. I read great reviews about his gum grafting expertise. I found him to be very friendly and sincere. I got the feeling he genuinely wanted to help me and that he had my best interests in mind. He is the only periodontist to really explain the logic behind why recession at times needs to be treated, it’s causes, and it’s urgency to treat. He’s showed me in my mouth the areas where I needed grafting and explained why I needed them. Totally made sense to me. He showed me that I needed less grafting that all the other specialists had recommended and informed me that I could pursue grafting at my convenience as long as my mouth hygiene was optimal. He also told me that since I was considering Invislaign, I must complete the grafting before I begin moving my teeth since the movement could cause further gum recession. I’ve made up my mind to pursue treatment and now know what to look for when a gum graft is needed. I was really impressed with this doctor’s approach and logic.

The surgery was not something I would wish upon anyone, but Dr. Stanard kept me comfortable during the procedure and with my request, kept me abreast of what was happening during my surgery. My follow up has been fairly easy except for pesky un dissolvable sitches that have to stay in my mouth for weeks to hold a piece of teflon under my gum. And a mouthrinse to clean the tooth , since I can’t brush there that temporarily stains my teeth. He told me that it would take 6 months to see how much bone grew into my hole around my tooth and that will be verified by an xray. He thinks my molar has a good outlook.. Couldn’t have a more attentive and caring surgeon having to undergo an invasive procedure as I did. I would recommend Dr. Stanard to anyone needing periodontal surgery.

Dr. S. informed me that it would be a tricky case because of the tight spacing and bone loss in the area. He was able to address the surrounding disease and still place the implant in apparently the ideal spot. I’ve had little to no issues since except for some expected swelling that ressolved soon after. It’s been months since I had the procedure and he just checked the implant and it looks fine. Braden Cox: I only wish more medical professionals could be like Dr. Stanard. I went to see Dr. Stanard for an extraction and implant related to bridge work I needed. This required close coordination with my general dentist. Dr Stanard provided a thorough initial assessment and recommendation, and personally communicated that to my general dentist. My extraction was not the easiest because the tooth was mostly worn down (it had a crown on it) and the implant required precision because it was near the nerve and there was barely enough bone. I felt that Dr Stanard communicated the risks well and allowed me to make an informed decision to move forward with an extraction and implant on the same day. He even wanted to see the final result after my general dentist had done the fitting. Overall the process took almost a year and concluded just this month and I felt he was invested throughout. David Yaffe: Needless to say, one does not go to a periodontist without some apprehensions. For DC Perio & Implants. those apprehensions are quickly dissipated. I was treated straightforwardly from the initial setting of my appointment for a tooth extraction (and start of the process to a tooth implant) to the day of the appointment. The front office was efficient and polite in getting me ready for the procedure. When I was taken in, the equipment appeared to be state of the art and clean. There were two assistants who prepped me for the procedure; were personable and clearly concerned about my comfort. They explained the process of the procedure and clearly explained the requirements and steps following the procedure. Dr Abron came in; was friendly and clearly responsive to my request for a description of the process. The anesthetic and following process were performed expeditously and with explanation to me. I look forward to the rest of the process culminating in the tooth implant.

The entire experience was pain free, timely, friendly, and professionally completed. Dr K and staff exceeded my expectations! Job well done! Washington Periodontics is a friendly and welcoming place. I was scheduled to have the first appointment for a mouth guard. The dental hygienist saw me right on time and the procedure was done within a couple of minutes using a laser device hooked up to a laptop! The experience was quick and I was out of the office in just about 29 minutes! My regularly scheduled appt was 8 AM on Thursday! Not only was I greeted with a smile & friendly hello by the front desk, but I didn’t even wait more than a few minutes before my hygienist met me to move me back into the dental chair! My hygienist was extremely friendly and very gentle! Within about 30 minutes, Dr K checked in! Sarah, the excellent hygienist, helped me understand by showing me the problem areas w a mirror. She numbed my entire mouth and did deep scaling for two hours, skipping her lunch. And then she wrote my after care instructions and explained them all to me. This is a terrific and highly skilled perio practice. The only down side: the price.

NORMA GARDNER: I accepted the recommendation from my husband Phil to have Dr Roy Escow extract and have implants replace two of my teeth. I felt comfortable the minute I walked in and sat down, near me speakers with low volume 60’s music was playing. Maria the reception greeted me with hello and a smile. (Thanks to a Covid mask I wasn’t sure about the smile). Maria’s hello sounded like a smile was attached. Next another Maria, Dr Escow’s assistant came out to greet me and ask “Are you ready? In all my visits, “We are ready for you!“ was never said. Next the very interesting,entertaining, and tall Dr Escow walked into the room. I know his credentials are long and impressive but he presented himself as a regular guy. I’m not sure what came over me. (Fairy Dust maybe) I felt immediately relaxed. We spoke as if we were old friends. DrEscow was very compassionate. He and Maria exchanged events and stories in their lives that distracted and entertained me during my procedure. I’ve met other members of the office team they were positive and very friendly. Recommending Dr Escow is like recommending your favorite restaurant to friends. Katrina Martell: Best dentist hands down! Dr. Shenasi and the whole team are amazing. I have been her patient for over a year now. The environment is clean and calming for anyone who is nervous about the dentist, and everyone is super friendly. They treat you very well, look out for your health, and explain things every step of the way. I even referred my boyfriend (who used to dread going to the dentist) but he loves it here too.

Emma Bechill: This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I broke my tooth the day before and called slightly freaking out the next morning. Chelsea answered the phone and was able to get me in ASAP. She was so sweet throughout and made me feel taken care of. My hygienist, Nina, was also very kind and answered all my questions. Dr. Martin greeted me warmly and thoroughly went through my options, making me feel comfortable with scheduling a root canal. The office itself is very clean, spacious, and frankly quite pretty. Very grateful to have found Dental Town!

Landon Henderson: They consistently go above and beyond at this place- helped with an Invisalign transfer when my old dentist went out of business, this dentist is way better. They give excellent teeth cleanings, and fournish good teeth care tips and tricks!

Nomadic 18: This was my very very first visit and here’s my assessment: the dental hygienist and the actual dentist were great. They were amazingly friendly and made you feel at ease. Absolutely love the service they provided, the only negative thing for me was the receptionist today. She was beyond rude and have no people skills. I almost gave a proper telling off, but not necessary to waste energy on people like that. I hope they can put more friendly & inviting people on the forefront. That woman need not be there.

The reception assistant was kind and patient, I was seen quickly, and another assistant Paul had a gentle touch with the X Rays. I was nervous because I had not been to the dentist for over a year due to the pandemic, but Dr. Noohi did not shame me and was encouraging. He also explained the changes the office has made to the cleaning procedure to reduce aerosols during this time. My teeth are thoroughly clean and I will be back in 6 months.

One day later, I was pleasantly surprised that he emailed me to check and make sure I was doing fine and wasn’t in any pain. If you need a dentist, I would recommend him.

Jonathan Alfuth: I have been seeing Dr. Noohi for about half a year, and I’ve found him to be very professional and trustworthy in our visits. He really focused on only doing work when necessary, and makes the effort to explain what the problem is and the options available when work does need to be done. His assistant Paul is also great, and the receptionist staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Noohi has also made himself available after hours for questions when I was going through an infected tooth and root canal, which I can’t say for any previous dentist I’ve visited. Highly recommend.
