ernestine glenn: I am a resident of New York and my brother lives in Washington, D.C. I received a call that he was picked up by ambulance at 3:00pm on Saturday, and would be taken to certain hospital. Called that hospital and he was not a patient. By 7:00pm I had contacted four hospitals and no listing of his name. This morning around 10:00am I called this police station and problem was solved. My elderly, blind brother has no cell phone and therefore contact was not available. A male police officer took my information and put me on hold; short while later a female officer assisted me and placed me on hold. I had provided her with information and she was able to discover the location of brother and the time he arrived at hospital. What a relief!! What excellent service!! Kudos to the Police Department. I am grateful!
Florence Boucher: Good help for the first few calls while I was searching for a person which I lost contact with during his trip. But they were supposed to call me back when he would go for a lost passport since his cell phone crashed but no call back and still without any info on the health condition of my boy friend of 73 yrs. old.

You can tell who they are by their actions, their words, and in general just by their overall character! Some times there are corrupted police officers who egos taints the integrity for what the Department stands by....some times high strong minded, do not like to be corrected type, ego officers types of people makes it really hard for the police men and women of integrity to continue to gain new trust and to keep old trust of the citizens of the District of Columbia. No matter what happened years before that produced the good and the bad habits of the Metropolitan Police Department these days, just remember that light will always out shine darkness! Sandy Nitch: A beautiful memorial and tribute to all of the Law Enforcement killed in the line of duty. I believe it is imperative to see the museum in addition to this memorial especially if you have never worn the badge. Well thought out, peaceful place. Thank you. A large QR placed near the books to make donations would have been a nice addition.
Veronica Farmer: Very nice place to visit especially during police week when it is filled with the photos, stories, and memories of the fallen officers. The fountain was not running this year which was a shame.
Kenneth Birkhofer: I visited the memorial to see the names of my brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice for the community they served. Thanks to this memorial they will never be forgotten.
Ted Kidwell: A great place to visit to show respect to all those in law enforcement who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the very dangerous work they do. Very nice place. We have been here a lot it such a nice memorial.

Matt Flower: Was disappointed that Police week was cancelled. Still traveled to DC to visit the site. A place to remember a couple of old friends who died in the line of duty. Was happy to see the number of people there doing the same thing. Talked and shared a few stories with others doing the same thing we were there to do. So glad the site is protected and genarally cared for by the park service. Wondering why the reflecting pool was empty.
Perks Advisor: Coming up from the Judiciary subway I was surprise how extensive this memorial has become since my last visit to DC. It is a wall with names of law enforcement personnel killed. There really is no where to sit and reflect, but there are nice tree lined walkways and bronze statues mostly of animals.

Juan Amaya: I was arrested today by one of your officers (unfortunately I forgot his name). for driving with a suspended license. his professionalism and respect was outstanding. He was doing his job and he did it well. he and the officers at the station were also very helpful. I was in the holding cell and I have High blood pressure which went up and I just had a stroke. I told one of the officer I was having chest pains and he immediately call the paramedics and he told me "your are safe here" which is how any human being should feel in a police station. just want to say "thank you" and I will fix my license so you wont have to arrest me again.
