Kyle Barrett: After I checked the hours on Google and their website, I stopped by this morning. The door was locked 45 minutes after they were supposed to open. I hung around U Street. I went back at about 10:15am and the door was still locked. I tried calling but no one answers. Not only did I waste time coming here, I wasted even more time waiting around for them to not open.

Yonas Marcos: Great service and selection. They also have reasonable prices for the products. Check them out today.

Gera Coffee: Very reasonable price. One of the best tobacco shop I ever seen. Also, 100% at Customer service.

Saint John Paul II National Shrine: what do users think?

Marvin Morales: In this place of peace and tranquility there is much to see but above all, engraved on the walls are so much of our Lord Jesus. Likewise, you can find the greatest thing that God gave us for this earth, which was this wise man and a man who loved God and gave him his life. you are a man of god. Saint John Paul Second. Thank you for everything you left us.

Daniel Ciucci: Though it looks like a modern private school on the outside, the inside is dignified and engaging. Go in and start with the movie in the basement and then meander though the exhibitions on the various genres of JP2’s pontificate. The media is really impressive and the exhibits are well-curated with taste and reverence. The chapels are gaudy, with an almost-Vegas-like sparkle which is irrelevant to any aspect of Wojtyła’s life. That part is just too bad.

Andrzej Jaworski: One of the best museums in Washington. In an interesting and modern way, it shows John Paul II and his influence on the fate of the world. Free entrance.

Gregory Blomgren: This Shrine is an amazing tribute and way to pay homage to Saint John Paul II! The sanctuary is gorgeous with all of the mosaics. Each mosaic depict one of the great stories in the Bible, from the Nativity to the enslavement of the Jewish people in Egypt. Overall, my experience at the shrine surpasses 5 stars.

Linda Sandoval: If you were touched by this great man and Saint, you must visit the shrine. Honored to pray before his relic.

Martin Brossman: Really spectacular place. Bought by the Knights of Columbus. My friend that is a Knight wanted to go to noon mass so I joined him. 1st time to mass. Very nice and if Saint John Paul II or the Knights has meaning to you it is well worth the time. Also nice little gift shop, 1st level relic and large exhibit area.

mir09 com: Very cool gift shop! Here you can find almost any souvenir at affordable prices.

Kelly Hyer: Cute free gift with purchase. Photographer did great job getting kids to smile.

Ufuoma Akpotaire: I really enjoyed visiting this gift store. I found that there were so many souvenirs I liked but I had to narrow my final selections down. It was very tricky making my choices but I did it! Also got a coupon from the store to take pictures in next door and that was great!

Shantelle Carpenter: Very nice gift shop however very expensive in our opinion..... The photo booth was the highlight for us

Sean Gillespie: ... thought the White House was bigger than it actually was, much better sights in the area to be done, and would recommend the electric scooters as a transport means.

Tammie: It is what it is, a souvenir shop, but they have nice things & helpful people & you can go around the corner for a free picture with your purchase.

Miss Savannah Ga Curry: It was really nice place to pick up Souvenirs and things

Current Boutique: what do users think?

Lauren Hoffman: Great consignment shop! Have only visited to shop, not to sell, but am very impressed by the quality and curation of clothing within. Also appreciate that they organize by size and have abundant, well-lit fitting rooms. Wish they had more accessories and jewelry, and found that they had something like a 10:1 ratio of tops to bottoms, which was odd? But really fun to browse.

Gemma Ni: I consigned several items here and I regret doing so. It has been almost 4 months but none of my item was sold, including a pair of Eileen Fisher pants, a silk scarf and a necklace. All in pretty good condition. I started to read reviews online and realized they donate unsold items fairly quickly. I simply don’t want my designer pieces to be donated. If I knew the sales didn’t move, I would never choose Current Boutique. Even if set the slow sales aside, I am also suspicious of the check-offline-status-online business mode. Unlike the completely online consignment, the status of store sales cannot be monitored. I don’t know if no one buys them or it is payout delay.

Marie Eichholtzer (Marieichho): Great to have a second hand shop with current brands and not only vintage clothes. Always great finds.

A S: Did not honor their own refund policy.

Jason Vieira: Totally overpriced. Charging $16 for SHEIN tops that are literally $4 brand new. Not consignment. You won’t be saving money here

Kia Johnson: During a recent stop, my first ever visit at the store, I walked in and was informed the store has a policy of keeping shopping bags at the front counter. I hesitantly walked to the counter to check my bags from other stores then was told they also needed to hold my handbag behind the counter. I have never been asked to surrender my handbag to a stranger to hold while I shop at any store, much less a consignment store. I told her that was a step too far and retrieved my other bag and left the store. Another associate told me it was very common for stores to hold bags and handbags. I have never, and will not never surrender my purse to shop. The irony is they don’t trust me to shop without stealing items, but I should trust them to hold my handbag. This was my first and last visit.

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History Store: what do users think?

Chira Pat: Deep times, I spent an hour in this museum to see all of those things in the world shown in this place.

Amanda Meyer: Went to visit the updated Dinosaur exhibit in the Fossil Hall...super amazing! The brightly lit colorful exhibits take you back in time to explain evolution of species as well as human impact on the planet. They had fantastic dioramas which began at kid level sight. These displays allowed the visitor to get close to the exhibits. Family of 4, 2 kids 9 and 5, 2 adults with Grandparents in tow and everyone loved it! It was a bit crowded but there was enough room to maneuver through. Be sure to check out the poop display by the bathrooms just past the worker observation room.

Anthony Scott: The Smithsonian museums are all free. They had so many exhibits for the kids to see and many of them are interactive. In one section they had over one thousand samples where kids can see close up, e.g. birds, fish, reptiles. You can put some samples under a microscope to learn more about them. A must see.

Sasko Gramatnikovski: One of the best things in Washington DC are the Smithsonian museums. They all have free entrance. They can hold your attention whole day and you will come out much richer in knowledge.

Ronald De Leon: Always a great time at the Smithsonian Natural History museum. First time for my son and wife and they really had a blast seeing all the displays. Great place for the family and lots of things to see.

Amanda Beil: I was in absolute heaven here. Everything I love - butterflies, elephants, Egyptology, dinosaurs, photography - was here. I had limited time to spend but I was able to see everything I wanted to while finding time to sit and eat at the food court. At the time I went, the new dinosaur exhibition was still being made, so I thought I wouldn’t get to see dinosaurs...but I was so wrong. After the Egyptology section, I turned the corner...and saw the Tyrannosaurus Rex of my dreams. My jaw hung open for a good minute or two. It was humbling to see how large it was standing next to it. Edit: Their new fossil hall just opened and it is definitely worth seeing! The giant sloth blew me away!!!

Margaret M: Fun and interactive. Lots to see for all ages. Interactive displays. However, tickets to butterfly experience went fast (we were there 45 min after museum opened and 1st time available was 3 hrs later!) Many displays being renovated. Cafeteria being renovated but small cafe there with pre made sandwiches & salads that were pricey.

Ric G: Great souvenirs of Chinatown and Washington DC. Little trinkets all the way to furniture. Staff is super helpful and friendly, and prices were decent. This place has also Asian snacks and treats and a huge selection of herbs and medications.

ARIA SPENCE: I need DONG QUAI ROOT for women,, the fake jade curly hair Buddha GOOD LUCK and PROSPERITY statue is not sold here ANYMORE, only plastic green fufu lion, and bald head fat pregnant man alopecias sparse hairs scalp buddha for bad luck, has no amoxicillin like in New York in the DC location . Andrew Foley: Very friendly staff with fun products

Samuel Winter: This store is great for both shopping and sightseeing. I go there because of their extensive tea collection. Some of their tea boxes are as little as two dollars, for teas that are way more interesting than what you would get at your typical grocery store.

Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle: what do users think?

Conrad: Beautiful and peaceful. Masses every day...great to see the history and take a break from the craziness in this sanctuary. Thank you tothose many folks who keep it in such good shape after all these years!

Cynthia Fore: Gorgeous Church. Sunday Mass was beautiful and the homily was well done. They are a welcoming, warm Catholic family. I spent some time in the Church afterwards and spoke with the Deacon at length about the Church and various matters. He had great suggestions for dinner. If I lived here, this would most definitely be my home parish. I hope to return one day!

G C: Awesome Cathedral with amazing acoustics for the organ but horrible echoes for voice. Cardinal Gregory was able to pause so he could be understood. The cantor and lectors could not. If you are Catholic you need to experience Mass here at least once. Go early and enjoy the mosaics.

Robert Ruffolo: A great sanctuary inside the city. Classically designed and decorated.

Remembered Events: We have done multiple ceremonies at St Matthews and wow are they special. Father Benson is a passionate and caring priest who values the marriage process and wedding ceremony. Highly recommend.

Shawn Henson: Very nice service, only stayed for 5 min. Maybe 6 people here

Paul Gurtler: Very much enjoyed Holy Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle. Enormous and beautiful pre-1900 built Holy Roman Catholic Cathedrial filled with incredible mosaics and other wonderful works of Christian art. The old Monsignor priest gave an excellent sermon and also walked around to warmly greet all of the visitors after Mass. He was very happy to bless our daughter (who is a USCG officer) prior to her departure for an overseas deployment. The Cathedral is a must see for all people of whatever faith. Highly recommended.

David Baquerizo: Beautiful cathedral. From the outside it looks nice and once you enter in, it will lift your spirit and filled you with awe. It has beautiful marble all around and art. It is worth visiting and attending mass. It is also the church were president Kennedy’s requiem mass took place.

Barbers of St,James London: what do users think?

Frank Fasi: Made an appointment two hours earlier online. Showed up about 20 minutes early, but was ready to go in 10. I had Thomas cut my hair. I went in wanting to try something new, so I left it up to him to decide how to cut it. Thomas made a plan and talked me through exactly what he was going to do, then he got started. He took the time to make sure everything was trimmed to perfection. Ended up with a tapered combover. He even lined up the sides. Excellent haircut, and it was my first one in months. The true barbershop interior and jazz music added to the experience. Well worth the price (around $50 is what I spent, including tip). Best part, they actually take cash or card, so no need to deal with all the hassle other places might put you through just to pay. All around, a fantastic first haircut in DC. Definitely will be going back again to Thomas in the future! Service: Haircut

Shawn Malik: The owner and Fernando who cut my hair were extremely welcoming and professional. I ended up being more than an hour early for my appointment and they accommodated me without hesitation. Fernando took his time with great care cutting my hair and trimming my beard. Best haircut I’ve ever gotten. 11 out of 10. Do yourself a favor and book now. Services: Beard trim , Haircut

craig pettigrew: Called Rick about getting haircuts and shaves for a group of groomsmen prior to a wedding, and he went out of his way to take care of us. I got my haircut and shave from Thamir, and he did a phenomenal job. He got us looking sharp before our friends big day. Great experience all around.

Jillian Hicks: Really nice guys, atmosphere, and vibe. They were able to squeeze my partner in for a walk-in appointment and gave him a perfect skin fade. His barber’s attention to detail was amazing. Highly recommend!

Soren Whiting: This barber shop is an absolute life saver. Prior to coming in to Barbers of St James London, I attempted to cut my hair myself and completely ruined it. However, I was completely saved by the skilled work of Thamir Zeyada, who did an incredible job fixing my hair and gave me the best hair cut I have received in years. I cannot recommend this place more, the team is incredibly friendly and the work is of the highest quality. Service: Haircut

Xevian: If I can give a zero star I would. The barber that cut my hair completely messed up my hair. He had no idea of what he was doing. He cut my hair so short that I can see my scalp despite I repeated told him my requirement!! And on top of that my hair is uneven on each side!!! I don’t know how I am going to show up for work now. I lost it on him! I will not go back to this place again! Someone like him should not be a barber! My wife can do a better job!!

Ahilan Amirthanayagam: I spoke to the owner, Rick, on the phone before coming in to the shop. I told him that I wanted to get a beard trim and he told me that I should book an appointment with Fernando. I was surprised by the time and care Fernando took with my beard as well as the service he provided. This was in the top three of my experiences with a quality beard trim and I recommend you to see Fernando if you want a professional touch up.

Stephen Taylor: Outstanding barbers here. Took me on short notice, did an amazing job getting my beard lined up and gave me a fresh fade. Shop is nice and clean inside, they used good products on me, and gave great advice.Services: Beard trim, Haircut

Joshua Staley: Such an amazing cut. There is just something about a real barber who uses a straight razor and hot towel. A relaxing experience that is well worth the cost. Wish we had more barbers like this.Services: Beard trim, Haircut

Serge Eygenson: Great service, flexible hours, and reasonable prices. Thamir Z was an excellent barber and did a great job.

Martha Wilson: I have been coming here for years. Staff members are very knowledgeable and helpful. It’s quite well stocked, considering it’s a small hardware store. I’m so glad they made it through the Covid closures here in DC. The store is a fixture in our community. I love it!

Katie Ambrose: I honestly love shopping here. Their selection is great and the people are so nice and helpful. You can tell they really care and take pride in the store. Also their prices are reasonable! I go here for hardware, plants, kitchen items, quick gifts - everything!

Marshall King: Funky little hardware store. Employees are top notch, without them I’m not sure who could navigate the store.

Javier Ruiz: Increíble, this store have of all..... Fantastic!! and good products and prices. Thanks True Value!!!

Tricia Hooper: This place is like Narnia for everything you need for your home! I don’t know how they fit their extensive inventory so perfectly in such a small place, but it’s like magic. I have yet to go in and not be able to find what I need. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Such a great local business - who needs Amazon when you have everything you need down the street at True Value?!

Paul Durbin: Great staff. I’ve gone to this hardware store at least 100 times. They make eye contact and ask what I need help with, without fail. They all seem to jump in to cover any duty. If a register is occupied, one of the staff will quickly ask to take me at another one. I’ve never had to search for help and I’ve never had to wait in line.

Sara: Very well-stocked local hardware store! Something for everyone here, and they have quite a few home decor options. Got a mounted key holder here as well as some screws - everyone was very friendly.

Sharon Bradley: Love this place, it has some of everything!

chantal yameogo: My son always advised me to go to 5 five Below and when I got there for my first time I was surprise because I saw good supplies and at a great price.
