Kimberly Daulton
Kimberly Daulton: I have never been an easy blood draw due to some small veins. Typically I am poked multiple times to no avail so going to get my blood drawn brings up some anxiety. Enter Jamila (sp?)! She was grounded, kind, patient and got me on the first try! I will be going back for future blood draws.
Ken Ament
Ken Ament: Very friendly, professional, helpful, hygienic, fast! Very nice experience.

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Ekaterina Seletckaia
Ekaterina Seletckaia: My appointment was at 10:15AM. I arrived at 10:10AM and I was invited only at 11 :10AM. What was the point of making an appointment if I needed to wait in line for 1 hour? Plus, some people were way behind me and they got invited earlier than me. The nurse was nice and I almost did not feel the needle, but when she was switching the tubes it was painful, because she was moving too quickly and there was not a well organized space to make it the right way, so I will not feel this pain.
Matthew Madeja
Matthew Madeja: Nerve was struck during blood draw and now I have a tingling sensation down my arm. Ominous to get blood taken from a place with 2 stars, but all QD places do. Apparently taking blood is difficult even if you do it all day.
Daisy Cortez
Daisy Cortez: Worst place, they suddenly started making appointments mandatory.when you call their number it doesn’t even let you speak to a representative. How are people gonna know the changes if you can’t even ask. Staff look and sound like their tired of being their. And that’s why their business only has 2 stars
Sean Nayeri
Sean Nayeri: Wish you never have to come here for anything. Worst people I’ve seen in my life. No sense of humor. And we had to be here for employee drug test. Awful experience. Awful…..
David Tilias
David Tilias: Had a confirmed appointment at 3:45, showed up and the doors were already locked even though they are supposed to close at 4:00. The nurse/receptionist saw me standing outside holding a baby for 15 minutes, did not even try to open the door. Can’t even call the desk, goes to a computer.
L G
L G: It seems to be a trend with Quest. Each location has only one employee who seems overwhelmed and has an attitude. I have received better customer service at the DMV. Came with an appointment and QR Code my doctor faxed the orders prior - lab tech couldn’t find the order and kicked me out. Outside the door there’s a long line of people with similar issues. My doctor is refaxing the orders and I confirmed the number with the tech. What bothers me the most is the way they talk to you. It’s very curt and dismissive with the ultimate goal of convincing people to abandon the line and their appointments because they are short staffed. Go elsewhere if possible.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Lilu, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Eric G
Eric G: Weekend personnel clearly don’t want to be there and take it out on you. Was rude to me and the customer before me

Naava Ellenberg
Naava Ellenberg: All online information says there is a quest in this Safeway. According to a Safeway employee, there is NOT. I was unable to contact the store via phone and every search kept informing me it was in Safeway. Extremely inconvenient and disappointing.
Jacob
Jacob: Showed up for an appointment and no one was there. Other patients waiting as well. No sign saying they were closed or had called out. Called the phone number and they said they could only reschedule appointment but not explain why the nurse didn’t show or make any effort to send someone else

Tonya Lockett
Tonya Lockett: Very bad experience. Went in 1 05pm monday ladies at front desk did not tell me that they were having issues with codes to draw my blood. I asked what was taking so long since I had been fasting all day. The lady asked me if I could come back tmw. I said id rather do it today. So about 1 50 the tech stuck me twice said she couldnt find vein told me, come back tmw. I came back next day the same front desk clerk said we had to sign in again. I waited 20 minutes, then asked her to send my paper to m as in hospital to draw bllod She said, oh you are next. She went feom front desk, no hands washing, put on gloves, drew blood, then pulled the catheter out, then giggled and said, oh, i need one more vile. She was going to stick me again and i told her no. I was already sore from them sticking and missing yesterday. She was emotionless ane did not apologize for her error. Just cold and uncaring. I will never use quest at that branch again. Nightmare.
Estefani Flores
Estefani Flores: The service was great and super quick! They were very helpful and professional. Every time I would come, I am satisfied with the service. There is no complaint. They are very knowledgeable of what they do. I will definitely continuing coming to this location for any future testings.
Tatiana Redmond
Tatiana Redmond: In and out … very clean and professional
Kari Ardalan
Kari Ardalan: Always an issue every time I come here from opening late to incredibly long lines despite having an appointment.
Deolu Kode
Deolu Kode: Automated appointment scheduler is very useless. You guys need a human being to pick appointment calls.
Nick Arrindell
Nick Arrindell: Every time I have used this service i have been extremely satisfied.

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Lynn Alshahrany
Lynn Alshahrany: My advice: I urge you to go elsewhere. Like other people have mentioned, their check-in process is a mess. Expect to have a longer wait than the time you get told on your phone. I don’t mind that though it was a walk-in so mildly understandable. What isn’t understandable is the fact that it doesn’t seem like the phlebotomists here know what they’re doing. I got my blood drawn here two weeks ago and a very nice light skin lady took us in. She couldn’t find a vein in my arms so she just stuck it in a random spot and hoped for the best I guess, because blood did not flow into the tube for 5 seconds. She was fishing for a vein with the needle in my arm for 5 seconds until blood finally came out. Woke up the next morning with bruising and an unbearable shock that ran up my arm every time I’d try to extend it or turn it. She most likely struck a nerve and I dealt with that shock for two whole weeks. I have NEVER had this experience during or after a blood draw. EVER. I called the location and of course there’s no way to reach them because it’s an automated message system, so I called their customer service line and told them everything. They told me I had to call my primary care doctor and get help from them. Go elsewhere unless you’d like to deal with an unbearable shock up your arm every time you turn or extend your arm. They do NOT know what they’re doing.
Charles Sellman
Charles Sellman: The light skinned lady with the freckles was rude worked at an extremely slow pace took no consideration of anyone else’s time but her own. She worked as slow as possible for her not to do anymore work before the end of the business day. Not one time did she ask myself or the three other people if we were there by appointment or walkin and picked whom she wanted to call back. I am not happy with this treatment
Lucia Wessels
Lucia Wessels: Always an awful experience! Doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not they always late, never check on the patients in the waiting area. You wait forever and sometimes to be told they can’t help you today. I have been to other locations no problem but this one is the worst ever.
Alexa Dragoumis
Alexa Dragoumis: My phlebotomist, Mo, was absolutely fabulous! She was extremely kind and fun to talk to. As someone who has bad anxiety about getting blood drawn, I really appreciated her ability to keep me laughing until she was done collecting samples. I barely even felt the needle! Highly recommend this location, and Mo, if you are lucky enough to have an appointment with her!
N V
N V: They do not pick up their phones, ever. They cannot find a fax with the test requests from your doctor, ever. This is a deal breaker especially during covid when you see doctors on-line and they fax the lab orders in. Even though my doctor has sent them faxes 2 times during last month, I’ve confirmed with my doc’s office. You cannot see anyone at this Quest location without an appointment. You have to take a day off for your scheduled appointment. You come, still wait in line, and when you see a nurse, she tells you she cannot find your doctor’s faxes, and she will not spend extra time looking for them in their front desk because she is busy. They did finally find faxes for 2 on my tests (which were in a wrong fax pile they said), but not the faxes for the other 3 blood tests. The nurse yells at you right from the start. They told me to schedule another appointment (it’s available only in a week on their on-line system, you cannot schedule it in person) to do the rest IF, and only IF they find my doctor’s faxes. I wasted two PTO days on each appointment, and a month after I saw my doc, my blood tests are still not done because of Quest’s unprofessionalism and pure chaos at the front office here. I will never come back to this Quest location again.
Tom Prichard
Tom Prichard: They are careful about COVID using a free standing tablet to check in patients. I did not have to wait long. Mai took my blood and she was friendly and pain free. I got my results in a couple of days on the MyQuest phone app, which is terrific. The app graphs out test results from previous years, explains each test and gives a range for healthy readings. The only reason I did not give five stars is that my wife also had tests there, and she found the bathroom in poor condition.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Tom! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Mai for her hard work.
Margarita Diaz
Margarita Diaz: I have used this place for many years and it has always been great. I understand that people that has the ability to make appointments will go first and walk ins will wait. But is hard to get early in the day appointments so I take my chances and I’m ok waiting if I have to. But second time I’ve been lectured about having to have an appointment even though it clearly says that the accept walk-ins. Both times no one seemed to have been waiting to be seen that had an appointment. Apparently they are hanging their policies and will only see people by appointments. But I’m the meantime walk-ins are welcome. I don’t appreciate being lecture and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I guess I will have to either make random appointments 6 months ahead or find another location where ImNot made feel very uncomfortable.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Margarita, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Khalid C
Khalid C: Look let’s be real this institution provides an essential service that is vital to society and medicine whether it’s drug screening for jobs or for various medical practices for patients everywhere. The demand for the services that this institution renders will always be necessary regardless of its competitors. Even in writing this I still plan on using Quest Diagnostics services.I say all that to say this specific location is the worst QD I’ve encountered. I can deal with blunders, mistakes and mishaps… that’s fine no ones perfect. The last thing someone needs to deal with is to be ridiculed and condescended. I know nowadays it’s hard to conduct oneself with minimal decency and treat people with dignity and respect. Please don’t respond and ask how we can make it up and talk. You know how to already just do better.

Zenox
Zenox: Awful experience. Staff was rude and slow. Something that should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour to get scheduled and pee in a cup. Never again.
Jackie Leeks
Jackie Leeks: I brought my son in to get a test he needed forCollege football. The staff there was very friendly and nice. It only took minutes for the test. He was told results in 24 to 48 hours I hope this is the case. If not he may not be able to try out this year.
Eva Soriano
Eva Soriano: I went today for a drug test requested for pre-employment. The ladies that were working there were really nice and helpful. Keep in mind that for the current situation they’re not taking walk-ins so you must make an appointment either online or calling their phone number. I was afraid I was gonna get a bad service according to the reviews but to my surprise my experience went smoothly. I was in and out in under 15 mins. I recommend this location!
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Eva!
E mayen
E mayen: I came in to get an employer drug screen on 3/27/21 around 9:30am, this lady screamed from the back asking me if I had an appointment I answered not and she told me they don’t take walk in . It was empty at that time only one patient was there and they didn’t want to take me in . Please post online you don’t take walks in at all that way people don’t waste their time going there like I did it . The girl taking the temperature at front was helpful and calm . Thank you
Response: We apologize if this was your experience and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Gaby Rivas
Gaby Rivas: I came in as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. It was extremely busy but the staff was working hard to try to get everyone seen as quickly as possible. Erica at the front desk was awesome! She was very personable, positive, and great to communicate with. She managed to keep things moving without rushing anyone. Even with the packed waiting room, I was out in less than 45 minutes. Also- they HIGHLY respect appointments so if you want to be in and out, schedule an appointment.
Response: Thank you for sharing, Gaby! We are happy to hear your visit went smoothly.
Ljoy Battle
Ljoy Battle: Fast check in, make sure you make an appointment! Great staff I just loved Tawanda and Ms. JoJo they are the BEST!!! I can honestly say this is the first time I ever actually had fun while getting blood work done.. Thanks again ladies!! Oh and other there is plenty of parking and clean waiting room.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback! We will be passing this along to our leadership team so we can recognize Tawanda and Ms. JoJo for their hard work.
Susan Ginsberg
Susan Ginsberg: I want to commend the person who signed me in, handled computer registration, and drew my blood. I came with a box as part of an NIH study; there were various instructions about handling the different tubes, and a Fedex pick up number had to be obtained for the specimens before the registration process could be completed in the computer. Despite the extra time and effort involved, Tawanda handled her duties patiently and verypleasantly, and we had a nice chat too!
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Susan! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Tawanda for her hard work.
Robert Wayne
Robert Wayne: they lost my sample in the mail. its really hard to contact these people. they don’t seem to care how urgent your illness is. still, its marginally better than Labcorp because at least its clean and they don’t try to gaslight you.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Robert, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact our Customer Service team at 1-866-697-8378 so we may address any concerns directly.

Igor Nedvaluke
Igor Nedvaluke: Everything was quick and efficient due to scheduling an exact appointment date. Ebony processed all my blood work and drew blood - lol - first blood. But no she was awesome. Very friendly and just overall good rapport. Would go under the needle with her anytime 😎
D G
D G: Quick and easy appointment. Blood draw was painless. I was finished in less than 10 min.
Jane C
Jane C: Horrible management on a weekend. Walk-ins were taken before reserved appointment slots, resulting in delayed appointment. Not happy when one has to fast overnight. Separately, I needed to take two different tests. Test orders were not consolidated per patient (one was in their computer system, the other was a printed order), and I had to ask more than once for them to double check for a test order from my dr office. It was filed away in a separate location. Need to consolidate test orders for patients who come with est appointments.
Kris Pate
Kris Pate: 69 hours to receive Covid test results. Find another lab if you want to travel. We spoke with customer service multiple times and were “guaranteed” our results would come in 48 hours. We rebooked our flights multiple times waiting for these results and ultimately had to cancel our travel plans. Even with the results, we were not allowed to travel. The 72 hour travel window starts from the time your sample is collected (nasal swab) to your departure time. Quest does not start their 1-2 day turnaround from the time of sample collection, but instead start the clock once your sample is delivered to the lab. When you need results, don’t count on Quest diagnostics to deliver on time.
Jay Levesque
Jay Levesque: Showed up ahead of my scheduled appointment, signed in and was seen by a lab tech within 1 minute and out the door within 3! Great services!
Natalie DeGraaf
Natalie DeGraaf: Hunter was great! Just the right amount of conversation and appeared extremely competent in his work. Arrived as a walk-in on Monday morning. No wait. Quick service and the staff professionalism was top notch. Very clean facilities.
Derek Washinton
Derek Washinton: Challenges abound the Quest representative dealt with all patients with respect, care and patience. And, I might add she was the only one on staff today 12/28.
Rebecca Dutton
Rebecca Dutton: I agree with other reviews- Blossom is the best blood drawer ever! She is so nice and has drawn my blood with no problem or pain despite me having issues other places!

J Wob
J Wob: Due to various change in plans, I rushed myself over to this location to get my drug screening done for my new career on the same day I received my paperwork. I was told this location closes at 3:30 PM. I arrived at 3:14 PM without an appointment, and the system was informing me that I cannot be seen without an appointment as there is no more room for walk-ins. Tasha Smith however, came out to greet me and helped see through all my needs even though there should have been no time for me. She gave me very fast, quick, and efficient instructions on what I needed to do. I was in-and-out within 5 minutes and Tasha Smith was extremely professional and efficient. I highly recommend this place to get your work done due to the effects of Ms. Smith.
Anna Na
Anna Na: My experience this morning was pleasant. Arrived 5 min late this morning for an appointment, waited only 5 minutes. Staff was efficient and pleasant! Thanks
Deborah na
Deborah na: Prompt, professional, & helpful. I don’t understand why this location has such low ratings! They go out of their way to be accommodating, to the best of their ability. There is usually only one person working, & customers expecting them to do everything yesterday, so cut them a little slack. Make an appointment on line & sign in when you get there. You’ll be treated in a respectful & professional manner, & be in & out in just a few minutes. And if you’re getting a blood draw, it’ll be the best one you’ve ever had!
Shonae Shonae
Shonae Shonae: Keya was amazing.. very friendly very professional very quick and the wait was not bad at all! Highly recommend but I suggest making an appointment if you come to this location they are really busy and usually booked! She work alone so please understand why they do not take walk ins sometimes
Mstrudy Brown
Mstrudy Brown: The entire staff at the Oxon Hill inside the Safeway is very rude and unprofessional, I checked the website to see if I could walk in and got there and the yet I was turned away and; she had the nerve to walk away! I have used quest for years never had an appointment I guest it’s time to take my business else where!! I think it’s horrible to have people on your staff that’s rude and nasty, I recommend hiring a whole new staff and throw the current staff away, like seriously they’re customer service skills are trash.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Kristina Rezene
Kristina Rezene: It’s always good to read reviews. I’ve Been calling this establishment for the last week, literally everyday to get their schedule so I can plan accordingly. No one answered the phone at all! The voicemail is full lol.. it sounds like a cell phone. This is so unprofessional. I contacted my employer to see if I can transfer to another location and they said they understand because this location has bad reviews. Wish I knew before driving all the way here!

saliem saleh
saliem saleh: ZERO star for this particular location! I have never been mistreated at any other place like this one before- went in for a test and unfortunately, had to see an employee by the name of Nyheema Marshall, she was extremely rude, disrespectful and discriminatory against me! There was another gentleman at the waiting area, Nyheema was very welcome and friendly towards him- I will be definitely reporting this discriminatory incident to their regional office
Ashley Flesch
Ashley Flesch: I waited over an hour for my appointment that ended up not even happening. I had to call the call center who contacted management just to find out they were closed all day. Didn’t contact me to inform me of the situation or ask if they could reschedule my appointment or anything in that manner. such a waste of time & huge lack of communication. Very poor customer experience.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Ashley, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Anita Boyd
Anita Boyd: I had an appointment at 3:45. I received a text prior to click a link to check in when I arrived. I did this and it then said for me to wait in the car or in the lobby and I will receive a text or a phone call when they are ready for me. I opted to wait in the outside chairs. No phone call or text was sent to me. They closed at 4:00 so I tried knocking on the door at 4:02. Lady came out and claimed she looked for me. She put me electronically as a no show. No phone call or text was sent. I could still be waiting in my car for them. Policy needs to be updated and looked at. Stop blaming the customers.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Anita, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Fran Canavan
Fran Canavan: What a wonderful service to have, especially during the pandemic…you aren’t exposed to a lot of people while you wait…although we were taken back immediately. Our phlebotomist, Chara, was warm, friendly, professional and she provided excellent service. We will definitely use this Quest again.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Fran! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Chara for her hard work.
Sepehr Faridazar
Sepehr Faridazar: I had the worst experience. The phlebotomist was so rude. She used to make weird sounds.I’m sorry for them. So unprofessional!!!!
Tatiana Reyes
Tatiana Reyes: I went in for a glucose screening test and was seen by a gentleman named Sal. This gentleman was extremely professional, helped calm down from my fear of needles, and had a positive attitude. Will highly recommend this location to future clients. The best customer service I have had in a while.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Tatiana! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Sal for his hard work.
Christopher Kernan-Schmidt
Christopher Kernan-Schmidt: I made an appointment for Monday, August 3 in the morning but when I went to the facility they were closed all day! I was told I needed an appointment for my testing, so I cannot just go to another facility and no other appointments were available. Wild. Clean facility and nice workers otherwise (from previous visits).
Response: We apologize for any disappointment this may have caused, Christopher, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We've verified that the details for this location, including the correct hours of operation, are available on our website at https://appointment.questdiagnostics.com/patient/confirmation.
KC Boss
KC Boss: Very clean facility. Been here twice since the Pandemic. There is only one technician at this location who handles the registration/labs etc. She was very professional and knowledgeable. This place could use another technician. Overall my visit here was great and went smooth.
Response: Thank you for sharing!
Julie Riso
Julie Riso: The Quest facility is clean and comfortable to wait in. The phlebotomists are kind, efficient, and extremely competent. I especially appreciate the work Jasmine does-she is wonderful. I definitely recommend this place. It is my go to for any testing.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback with us, Julie! Your review will be forwarded to our leadership team so Jasmine and the rest of our staff can be recognized.

Brian Copes
Brian Copes: It was my first time visiting this location and I’ll admit it was a little hard to locate. I added a photo to show everyone the main building - 3833 Ballston Medical Center, so people can find the location. They do not list the suite number or location on the directory on the first floor of the medical building. Simply walk or get on the elevator to the 3rd floor to find the office. Outside of the difficultly finding the office, the check-in process was quick with a self check-in system. The medical staff was friendly, funny, quick and curious. I was impressed! Overall, if you need blood work done please give this location a chance. You’ll have a good experience.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, Brian!
Velika Peterson
Velika Peterson: We went in without an appointment at the end of the day to do blood tests for two of my daughters. Electronic sign-in in the waiting room was a breeze. Kirsten was very organized and efficient with the paperwork and Nurse Michelle did a wonderful job with the kids. We were in and out in no time and the children got smoothies as a reward from Tropical Smoothie Cafe around the corner - a win-win for everyone! :)
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Velika! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Kirsten and Michelle for their hard work.
Daiqi Sun
Daiqi Sun: I was sent here because the nurse at CVS could not get my blood sample after three attempts. Michelle was super skilled and got it fast and painless, also super nice and patient. Saved my day.
Zahra Gallagher
Zahra Gallagher: I arrived to my appointment early just in case and the nurse was able to take me in immediately. Once in the room I did not have to wait at all. I only had my blood drawn but I was in and out in 5 minutes. Erica my nurse was great!
Camille Lacroix
Camille Lacroix: Excellent service in this Lab! Easy appointment scheduling through the website, self check-in at the desk and no waiting time (I arrived there earlier and I was received immediatly by the nurse). The nurse is really taking time to explain the different steps in the billing process, in the blood drawing and results. Total time spent there : 15 minutes. Overall experience there : 5 stars for the staff and the service!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to post your review, Camille! Your review will be shared with our leadership team so our staff can be recognized.

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Elijah Harris
Elijah Harris: This location is understaffed. Prepare to wait in line (no issue), however with the physician trying to manage specimen collection and sign in, people are often cut and skipped. It happened to me twice. You can basically walk in and sign into the touch screen without getting your temperature taken; while others wait. People who try and follow the rules are skipped. It happened to me twice. I wanted to get my temperature taken while another man walk in sign in and sat down. He was seen before me because he signed in. This is highly upsetting. I informed the physician and she still attended to the man before me even though she saw me waiting in line.
Jael Nantamu
Jael Nantamu: Evalynn at Quest diagnostics was REALLY understanding and patient with me. Some information of mine was missing but she was patient and told me what I needed. She honestly TREATED ME WELL and that means A LOT to me. You’re amazing EVALYNN. B. 😀😀
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Jael! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Evalynn for her hard work.
Joan Weber
Joan Weber: I easily made an appointment online and arrived a few minutes early. The location was clean, no wait for my appointment and the staff person was delightful and thorough. She reviewed with me each of the labels before they were applied to the samples and her technique for drawing the sample was without any incident.
Response: Thank you for letting us know, Joan!
Beverly Hill
Beverly Hill: First time at Quest. I got there when it opened and was served immediately. I have "bad" veins, but Evelyn was able to find an alternate site painlessly and quickly. Quickest and most pain free experience since my veins have been "bad".
Elizabeth Clare
Elizabeth Clare: I have had labs done twice with Evalynn (sp?) inside of Wheaton Safeway. It was fast and easy both times with no wait.
Vladimir Gran
Vladimir Gran: I have difficult veins, so this is always my place to go for blood work. Ms. E is the best !
T G
T G: I have always experienced prompt and courteous service here. Would highly recommend.
Starla Robinson
Starla Robinson: Grab coffee. Leave blood. Get groceries 😍

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Shana M
Shana M: The tech was fine at collecting specimens, but sent the wrong lab order redoing a lab that was done in November instead of the recent order my Dr had sent for a totally different test. What gives? Also, my account information was not accurate, not a surprise, but its really unlikely I was the one who put in the wrong birthdate for myself in the years I’ve been using quest. Having me verify only the spelling of my name does not help catch these kinds of errors. The appointment system & MyQuest system do not appear to link well which is obnoxious when trying to use this website to view results or appointment times. This is basic corporate standards of service in 2022-get better at this! They had old insurance in their system for my children, because their system didn’t have a name that matches my insurance company name well even though it’s BCBS, like really? So not being able to enter new insurance info only because the name of my insurer couldn’t be found is bananas-since they tried to bill a different insurance, with an old address & never asked for me to verify my kid’s info which would have caught the issue. So who knows where the bills went & there is no way to get in touch with the person inside the lab draw location because the phone tree is a circle of menus that don’t lead to the local tech. So much for keeping issue handling at low levels & providing direct feedback so that errors can be corrected for future patients. Just annoying & not convenient having a local draw station because of these things that fall through the cracks. Also, I got stuck helping the Safeway cart retrieval lady because she had blocked me in the elevator & the tech marked me as more than 10 minutes late to my appointment. I was early. Checked in by the link, got the text she was ready for me at 11:41 & was in her lab room by 11:45 with no one present in the draw station. I rechecked-in which of course is where I learned I had already been marked 10 minutes late for my 11:45am appointment. Sorry the Safeway store logistics made me ONTIME. I couldn’t not help the special needs lady huffing and puffing and slowly moving the shopping carts to where they belonged in the store via the elevator. My delay allowed her to get to a walk in customer which pleased him, but whatever. People’s expectations are what they are.
Cat C
Cat C: HORRIBLE! Will never use Quest Diagnostics for anything, not even if it’s free. Went all the way to Bethesda for a COVID test just to be told that the location has been out of nasal swabs FOR THREE DAYS. They didn’t bother to update any of the people waiting for COVID tests in the waiting room or send appointment cancellations. The pharmacist was nice and you could tell she was flustered about it too. Terrible service, terrible organization, not a place that cares about customers/patients.
Rahamatoulaye BAH
Rahamatoulaye BAH: Ms. Annette was the only caretaker the day I was there. She came to get me as soon as I signed in. She was very professional when asking me questions when she was completing the administrative work on me. She drew the blood with no problem in finding the good vein. She kept asking me about my comfort level to show how concerned she was. She also guided me for further lab tests I had to take and gave me a $5 store coupon at the Safeway when I was living. Everything was done in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place and of course Ms. Annette. Rama Bah, patient
Rikki Lewin
Rikki Lewin: wonderful experience at the Quest in the safeway . there was no waiting and the young lady in charge was skilled and competent and knew how to draw blood. I had a terrible experience last year at the Quest on Democracy Blvd when my arm turned all the colors of the rainbow after the overwhelmed fellow on call drew blood. The place was busy and disorganized and the person was incompetent. I
Nathan Ong
Nathan Ong: 7:45 appointment and apparently it doesn’t matter since a walk-in was helped and phone calls still had to be made etc etc and this is bloodwork not surgery. She has been in the room for over 10 minutes. I came in EARLY for my 745 appointment and apparently it doesn’t matter. It’s 8:08 and I’m still waiting.
Alison Seiler
Alison Seiler: Customer service training for Gary would be good. Instead of answering the phone Quest Diagnostics this is Gary and then walking away from the phone for 10 minutes it would be good to explain that there will be a long wait time or ask the person to call back in 10-15 minutes when the waiting room is less busy

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Anna-Lisa Politi
Anna-Lisa Politi: Was scheduled for a drug screen and my childcare for my newborn fell thru last minute, so I had to bring him to make the appointment. When I arrived the staff rudely turned me away and couldn’t state particularly what the “regulations” where why I couldn’t take the test and had to reschedule. At least have your staff be able to politely articulate a why. I’m sure I’m getting just like the other responses on Google a canned one apologizing & stating that it will be brought up to leadership but I am hoping that this facility is starting to work on their customer service skills, seems to be a trend.
Aigerim Askar
Aigerim Askar: They allow you to make an appointment and come in to tell you they don’t/can’t do the test.
Asad Khan
Asad Khan: They setup appointments for testing, when you get there a rude employee will tell you they don’t have the tests. They actually recommended to go to xcell urgent care . I should’ve checked the reviews before going there. Shame on you.
Brian Hood
Brian Hood: Easy in, easy out... It was quiet my first visit but lil more crowded the second time. They do take you quick for test drop offs. Nice employee that helped me.
Amanda Nguyen
Amanda Nguyen: I can only speak from one experience, but the testing process was seamless for my daughter. We were seen immediately (we had an appointment, but were running 10 minutes late. It did look like a few more folks gathered after 3:00.) Richard was fantastic, especially since my daughter has a serious fear of blood/needles. He was patient and professional, but also fun. Based on reviews, I’d recommend appointments in the early afternoon and to be sure Richard is working.
Christina Gillespie
Christina Gillespie: Richard was amazing! I’m normally not great at getting my blood taken but he made it very easy with his fun conversation. The only thing that was really frustrating was the $4 dollar fee to park. For some reason they won’t validate tickets. They were also running a bit behind even though I made an appointment but once I was taken back the process was very speedy. Overall I would recommend this location because Richard is great but only if you can get dropped off and picked up (not worth paying to park).

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Claudia N.
Claudia N.: If you have a choice, do not come to this location. You have to pay for parking because of the area it is located in. Then there was no one in the office or window when i came in. I checked in the kiosk at 1140 (before lunch) for a drug screen and it said there was no wait but i waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes only for someone to come at noon and tell me they are going on lunch and the site is by appointment only. :(
Lindsey Minto
Lindsey Minto: Terrible experience. I tried the walk in option and selected the wait in car option. I never got texts from the system so after 30 min of waiting, I went inside and had to sign in again, behind all the people that had come in later than me. At 11:30 the attendant told me to leave and that they couldn’t see me. It was still 30 min to their lunch leave so I didn’t understand why I couldn’t wait. It wasn’t until I indignantly waited until exactly 12 that she explained that drug tests are required to end 1 hour before lunch, I essentially waited a full hour because of this unstated, unwritten rule. The system also did not catch it- I signed into the tablet twice and selected my test type twice. Very disappointed. No customer service to call. Horrendous testing experience. Or lack there of because I left with my issue unresolved.
Cynthia Walker
Cynthia Walker: I made an appointment for a blood test request by my doctor. I arrived about 5 minutes early and checked in. About 15 minutes later someone came out from the back & explained she was the only person there. I went back & the technician made a cursory look for a vein but said she would not even try to perform the tests because I was still too bruised from my hospital stay. Add to that there is a $4 parking fee. I depend on Social Security so $4 means a lot to me, especially since the technician didn’t even try to do the test
Shiddharth Patel
Shiddharth Patel: Cons - Parking if you cant find on the street you gotta pay - The waiting room is just a kiosk, so you have to knock on the door to actually speak to someone - Short staffed - due to Covid at the moment - They close for lunch at 12 so you need be a walk in at least 1 hour prior to that otherwise youll be turned away - They do prioritize appts first, but they will take care of walk ins as best they can Pros - Ruth E. - the Medical Lab Technician - she is AMAZING, very patient and understanding, and EFFICIENT, she ran the whole lab by herself and did not complain once nor look like she didnt want to help. I applaud her for her hardwork. - Hopefully she gets help at the lab soon because she is doing a HUGE service to the community that relies on Quest Diagnostics.
Juan-Francisco Buchenau-Varela
Juan-Francisco Buchenau-Varela: Don’t try to use these services! It’s unbearable. Not what you expect in this luxurious building. Approaching this dirty space with harassing attendants made me think that health services is indeed the worst part of America. Even laboratory services are not interested in the people. This is one of the worst places I’ve been for health services. Staff was really rude, waving me in a very inappropriate form to get out of there. I had an appointment but she didn’t want to work with more patients. She didn’t want to bring her supervisor when I requested her name to inform about her behavior. I was waiting for 30 min until she opened the door just to express her craziness. I don’t know why this kind of people is not fired and keep a job for which they are not qualified. Reading all the previous reviews help to understand that the owner does not care at all about this place. Horrible experience!!!!
Eluned Schweitzer
Eluned Schweitzer: I used these services several weeks ago and have been unable to get any results back. There is no one to talk to and no response from horrendous website system. The waiting room is small and social distancing difficult if not impossible with a queue of people. No receptionist to drop samples off with.
Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocus: Tuesday, 8/10/21 After my follow-up appointment at this Quest Lab today, I feel compelled to revoke my prior positive review of this lab, and explain why I do NOT recommend the Quest Lab on Fernwood Road in Bethesda MD. I arrived at Quest today, at shortly before 4pm to drop off a specimen. After I had registered, its computer directed me to be seated in the waiting room, and someone would see me shortly. When I sat down, 2 other patients who were there before me. After 15 minutes, an Indian woman (who worked there) suddenly opened the door, kept waving her arm to us and rudely ordering all of us in the waiting room to leave at once, saying the lab was closed. But the closing time posted at the door was 4:30. The time then was only 4:15pm. From her computer, that Indian woman should have known how many people were waiting and for how long. And she should also have also known those who had waited for 15 minutes would incur a $4 parking fee. Ordering patients to leave before closing time, and without reimbursing patients for wasted parking fee was egregiously unreasonable ! I used to live in PA, and never seen such poor lab service before. It is caused by franchised owners understaffing lab facilities to maximize profits, all to the detriment of patients and insurance companies. I will definitely bring this complaint to the attention of Maryland state health regulators.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback!

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
J Lokitis
J Lokitis: I thought the staff was very time efficient, explained the procedures, demonstrated how to do the at home tests and got my vein on the first attempt! Good experience for a lab. Thank you to Anna who spent extra time trying to figure out some specific tests my doctor wanted.
Jane Collins
Jane Collins: Good, efficient experience. Professional staff. I had to go back today because their system was down yesterday and I couldn’t order a test online (there is no way to pay for one at the facility). The system was back up today and I was able to quickly and easily schedule a test.
tor bw
tor bw: the staff who did the blood test for me was experienced and kind. the needle did not hurt at all unlike past experiences i’ve had.
Emily Woody
Emily Woody: I had made an appointment a few days ago for biometric screening. When I arrived I was told my appointment was not in the system and therefore the screening could not be done unless I get the appropriate paperwork. I went in today to get a biometric screening done and was extremely caught off guard by how rude Marco was. He told me that my appointment was not in the system and so I would need to get call my HR to get the paper work. So I call my HR department, wait for 45 minutes for them to fax it and he said there is nothing he can do because it is not in the system, giving me no further instruction on how to get the information in his system! Why am I responsible for getting information into YOUR system, when it was your systems error to begin with?! So I call Quest Diagnostics customer service line and told them about my dilemma, they said they can fax the paperwork and send it electronically by setting me up as a walk in appointment. Marco rudely responds to the customer service rep (from Quest) saying well it is past 2:30 (my appointment time) so there is nothing he can do. When the only reason it was past 2:30 so there was nothing he could do. He looks at the fax sent by the woman and said it is too blurry so he cannot see me. When the customer service rep laughs and said come on man! He finally goes into the system and sees that my appointment is now in their system so he can do the screening (which literally takes 10 minutes). I was honestly afraid when he was taking my blood work that he would intentionally hurt me or something. Overall, I was in the office for 2 hours, and was spoken with extreme disrespect and disregard by Marco. Also, he had his name written on his smock with red marker, extremely unprofessional. I do appreciate his colleague Camille, she at least tried to help me. The customer service rep literally saved me from bursting into tears, she was wonderful. It was overall an awful experience, I will never go back there and Marco should be fired, I see now that this is not the first time he has acted this way, given other reviews. Luckily, the customer service rep told me she was making a note in her files about his rude behavior and was going to report it internally.
Response: Hi Emily- We apologize if this was your experience and thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Hui - Falls Church
Hui - Falls Church: I had a very good experience with this Quest Diagnostics Center. Britney was professional, diligent and caring. She made sure the order was processed correctly and took time to double check everything. I had an appointment and the whole process took about 30 min.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Britney for her hard work.
Montrece King
Montrece King: This location is amazing both if the labs techs are professional.I was greeted upon arrival
Richard Nguyen
Richard Nguyen: I scheduled an appointment prior to arrival. I waited in my car and did a mobile check-in. I was texted to come into the waiting room about 5 minutes after using the mobile check-in. John Longcop gave me clear instructions on the urine sample collection process. Everything was over within 10 minutes. Great experience, would recommend.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Richard!

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Yinzú Nairouz
Yinzú Nairouz: I have a good experience, I received my results fast for email. Sadly there only hace one staff member for everything (billing, front desk, check-in/out, take the sample…). Try to get an appointment in advance. They should hire a second person
Toney Wick
Toney Wick: I was there today for blood work and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. And refused to help me or give me her name. There was another lady over there that she works there and she was a sweet hart may God bless her. The nasty lady name is kalen deer. I hope I will never see her again ever in my life.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Toney, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.
Tricia Saint-Felix
Tricia Saint-Felix: The good. The facility is conveniently located within a shopping center. It was clean and hygienic precautions were taken while my blood was drawn. This visit took all of ten minutes—a bonus I did not anticipate but for which I was grateful. The process was simple enough: sign in on the iPad and wait to be called. The bad. The customer service leaves more to be desired. The receptionist seemed nice enough until we spoke business. She kept on cutting me off when I tried to explain my insurance situation. Essentially, we both were saying the same thing and the conversation went around in circles. Because she tried to anticipate my words and thoughts, she would incorrectly complete my sentences and this sent us into a baffling to-and-fro. After commenting on the confusing affair, she then brought up my age, insinuating that I must be young and that was why communicating with me was difficult. Then she looked at my paperwork to verify her assumption before looking back at me and saying, “Oh. You’re really not that young.” While I am personally not offended by the age comment, it is, however, unprofessional and unbecoming of a business, particularly a medical one. Also, telling a person that you “get [his/her situation] all the time” is not qualifying statement for an individual case. You’re a receptionist; not a claims adjuster.
Christiana Charles
Christiana Charles: The staff here are very rude and unprofessional. From the moment I walked in to the time I left the tall dark skinned tech and the short light skinned tech were very unprofessional and loud having side conversations and were not helpful at all. The tall dark skinned one then had an attitude when I asked her anything. I called my doctor and informed her of the unprofessional and advised her I will not come back to this location. They are very rude and unprofessional and corporate needs to handle this. This is not the first time “workers” from this location have been disrespectful.
Response: We apologize for any disappointment this may have caused, Christiana, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. Please contact our Patient Advocacy team with additional information so we can address any concerns directly: patientadvocacy@questdiagnostics.com.
Julius Pittman
Julius Pittman: The two ladies Angie and Lawan was very nice and quick. I was in and out in 10 mins. Also very professional.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Julius! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Angie and Lawan for their hard work.
Colin Goodenough
Colin Goodenough: Would not give this place any stars. Rude and incompetent and rude staff who made us feel unwelcome. Would suggest public service lessons for the receptionist. Avoid if possible.

Charity Calhoun
Charity Calhoun: Was pleasantly surprised with Quest given the bad reviews and my own negative experience years ago. But, I ordered a lab test and scheduled an appt same day all electronically. Check-in process was smooth and quick, and staff was pleasant. The office is quite outdated, but the service was good!
Vera Perry
Vera Perry: After fasting for diabetes test, I walk in for a test at 8:30 and was told I had to come back at 11:10. I explained that to the technicians and they ignored me. My doctors appointment was on Tuesday and today was Friday. Only 2 people was there waiting at that time. Fasting all night was way too long to wait.
Bri Chum
Bri Chum: Made an appointment, was seen at the exact time. Tyshia was the best as she had great customer service and was able to draw my blood right away. I am a difficult person with tiny veins so I was super impressed. The place was busy, the chairs are scattered to ensure COVID guidelines.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Bridge! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Tyshia for her hard work.
Victor Smith
Victor Smith: Quick and easy scheduled an appointment online had no issues staff was friendly. Would recommend to quest to have an additional staff memeber having only two people does not seem enough if it gets busy.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Victor!
Rearea Gal
Rearea Gal: I see a bunch of negative reviews for this location, however, I had a good experience here. Making an appointment on-line was seamless, you get text messages confirming your appointment and the morning of your appointment to check in when you arrive at the location. You have an option to wait in your car or in the waiting area to be seen. The first 3 letters of your first name and 1 letter of your last name is displayed on the monitor indicating your appointment time counting down. The waiting area only has a few seats with social distancing. The entire appointment was seamless and my phlebotomist Ty was great at what she does and very friendly!!! That was a plus!!!! With all of the current circumstances it was a good experience.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Rearea! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Ty for her hard work.
Vanessa Tyson
Vanessa Tyson: Made an appointment the night before. Arrived on time. Easy check in. Seen within minutes. Friendly phlebotomist. In and out within 10 minutes. Great experience!
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Vanessa!
Helen Winslow
Helen Winslow: A horrific experience. Failed to wash their hands between patients. Did not change their gloves between patients. Horribly slow for no particular reason. Long, long wait times even if you have an appointment. Rude staff and not professional at all. They must pick the dregs of society to work in this place. Avoid at all costs. The County should shut it down.

Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?
Dave Poe
Dave Poe: Simply awful. The best part about the experience was the fact that they took me slightly before my scheduled appointment time. It went downhill from there. Surly phlebotomist, poorly-designed forms, and then failure to report ANY results, suggesting that they have been lost. One of my worst medical test experiences ever.
Linda Werner
Linda Werner: I am definitely going back here for my next labs. I have terrible veins, and the technician was able to draw my blood in one try -- which puts her in the hall of fame in my opinion. She was also courteous and kind. I was fortunate, as a walk-in to get my test done quickly. Better if you can to make an online appointment.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Linda!
Sandra Frances
Sandra Frances: Horrible I got there at 11:37am to find out that they close for lunch 11:30am to 12:30pm. No where on the website does it mention that. Then the lady appears at 12:30pm and takes a person with an appointment and takes 35 minutes for a blood draw. I had to leave because the lady was extremely rude. Disgruntled like she didn’t like her job. Worst bed side manner ever. I wasted my whole time.
Nahid Sina
Nahid Sina: This was didn’t have even one sanitizer for entering customers. Everybody was touching the screen without having a wipe to clean for next person. At this time with COVID 19 carriers everywhere it could be nice to follow CDC guideline specifically in medical lab. Worker was ver nice and gentle.
