Quest Diagnostics: what do users think?

Zenox: Awful experience. Staff was rude and slow. Something that should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour to get scheduled and pee in a cup. Never again.

Motown Indiga: Quick, pleasant and efficient registration and service. One star less due to the dirty secure storage bin that had visible debris at the bottom. I mentioned it to the technician because I didn't want to put my coat in there. She offered me a coat hook, but seemed a bit annoyed and indifferent. There's no telling what's been in that bin. If a medical facility is enforcing Covid protocols and sterile processes, please give enough of a damn about surface sanitation to present a clean COMMON enclosure where patrons are expected to store their personal items.

Larry Crews: Had to go for blood draw that I hadn't been able to make an appt for. Yet they were still able to get me in w/o too long a wait. That, along with a competent blood draw, made it a good experience

Jackie Leeks: I brought my son in to get a test he needed forCollege football. The staff there was very friendly and nice. It only took minutes for the test. He was told results in 24 to 48 hours I hope this is the case. If not he may not be able to try out this year.

Eva Soriano: I went today for a drug test requested for pre-employment. The ladies that were working there were really nice and helpful. Keep in mind that for the current situation they’re not taking walk-ins so you must make an appointment either online or calling their phone number. I was afraid I was gonna get a bad service according to the reviews but to my surprise my experience went smoothly. I was in and out in under 15 mins. I recommend this location!
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Eva!

E mayen: I came in to get an employer drug screen on 3/27/21 around 9:30am, this lady screamed from the back asking me if I had an appointment I answered not and she told me they don’t take walk in . It was empty at that time only one patient was there and they didn’t want to take me in . Please post online you don’t take walks in at all that way people don’t waste their time going there like I did it . The girl taking the temperature at front was helpful and calm . Thank you
Response: We apologize if this was your experience and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be forwarding this feedback to our leadership team in the region for a follow-up with our staff.

Gaby Rivas: I came in as a walk-in on a Saturday morning. It was extremely busy but the staff was working hard to try to get everyone seen as quickly as possible. Erica at the front desk was awesome! She was very personable, positive, and great to communicate with. She managed to keep things moving without rushing anyone. Even with the packed waiting room, I was out in less than 45 minutes. Also- they HIGHLY respect appointments so if you want to be in and out, schedule an appointment.
Response: Thank you for sharing, Gaby! We are happy to hear your visit went smoothly.

Ljoy Battle: Fast check in, make sure you make an appointment! Great staff I just loved Tawanda and Ms. JoJo they are the BEST!!! I can honestly say this is the first time I ever actually had fun while getting blood work done.. Thanks again ladies!! Oh and other there is plenty of parking and clean waiting room.
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback! We will be passing this along to our leadership team so we can recognize Tawanda and Ms. JoJo for their hard work.

Susan Ginsberg: I want to commend the person who signed me in, handled computer registration, and drew my blood. I came with a box as part of an NIH study; there were various instructions about handling the different tubes, and a Fedex pick up number had to be obtained for the specimens before the registration process could be completed in the computer. Despite the extra time and effort involved, Tawanda handled her duties patiently and verypleasantly, and we had a nice chat too!
Response: Thank you for sharing this feedback, Susan! We will be passing this along to our leadership team in the region so we can recognize Tawanda for her hard work.

Robert Wayne: they lost my sample in the mail. its really hard to contact these people. they don’t seem to care how urgent your illness is. still, its marginally better than Labcorp because at least its clean and they don’t try to gaslight you.
Response: We apologize if this was your experience, Robert, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please contact our Customer Service team at 1-866-697-8378 so we may address any concerns directly.

Labcorp: what do users think?

Alex Granadeno: Positive - The staff was nice Negatives - 1. The lobby was packed with no room to social distance. They had signs on the window and entry door stating that 6ft social distance is required. There were a dozen people in the lobby. There were also 2 people coughing inside (wearing masks). I decided it was safer to stand out in the rain with my 2 yo than be inside. 2. The lab techs were able to find a vein on my 2 year old's arm quickly, but forgot to take the band off. They wondered out loud why her blood wasn't flowing quickly until after about a minute they figured out they needed to take the band off. Meanwhile, my kid was crying and asking when it would be over. 3. There was a sign in the bay we were in that states that it is sanitized after EVERY person. This was not true in my experience as the next customer was already standing outside the bay while I was still putting on my coat. As I exited, I turned around and watch the mother and child sitting in the same chair and bed we had just used. No disinfecting took place.

Joseph Raysin: Been here a few times and never had any issues. Thought more medical places would do their own tests, but maybe it’s more efficient to have everything done under one corporation. Can’t get anything done without doctor orders though. Regardless, it’s what you expect and maybe some had bad experiences, but I saw nothing wrong with this place.

Cindy Sauey: I had two questions to ask this facility before I had my lab work done. I called several times a day for several days and never was able to get anyone to answer the phone. The machine said to leave a detailed message and someone would return my call - I left three messages and NEVER got a call back. I decided to use another lab - if you cant be bothered to answer the phone or return a call, I don't trust you to stick a needle in my arm.

Ashley Gill: Horrible customer service. I made an appointment online for a glucose test at 10:30 on a Saturday and when I showed up they were incredibly unhelpful and told me they close at 11 and didn’t honor my appointment. Will not return to this location.

Nikole Gretz: Best Labcorp location there is! I’ve been many times and will only go to this location now, because of the super friendly and caring staff. Everyone is so sweet and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and get in and out as quick as you can.

Christine Keatley: Yelled to me across the waiting room before I was to the kiosk asking what I needed. I told her an she said they are closed. Online it said they are open til 4 pm. Everyone was still sitting around at their desks. When I called the labcorp number it never stated they didn’t do drug tests past a certain time and said appointments aren’t necessary.

E M: Unorganized patient intake service. Very low tech business processes administratively. Every LabCorp location is different in the way that they accept patients. I have only been to 7 LabCorp locations, but their customer service ability is really on the low end for initial contact with customers. It's really a shame. They could be so much better.

Anna Sternitzke: I was honestly very impressed with this location and the staff. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and polite! The self-check-in was quick and easy, and I had no wait time at all for my 8:30AM appointment. The phlebotomist was very kind and did a great job on the blood draw. Usually I feel faint when my blood is taken, so she made sure I was comfortable while laying down and did the draw lightning quick so I could get it over and done with.

Cory Laws: I was very pleasantly surprised. The reviews I saw were about 2 stars. My experience was different. I went in with an appointment for a blood draw, but without paperwork. My doctor assured me I was "in the system". I was. They asked me to wait, and I did, for about 30 seconds. I was taken to the partitioned area, and blood was drawn promptly. The staff was very courteous, from reception through the technician. Things were clean, and the waiting area seating was properly distanced. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Very pleased.

Deepak Yadav: We came for 10month old kid blood work, having bad experience in past, suggested the nurse to double check and make sure before poking around multiple times, requested her twice and even after that, she kept needling half inside body for 5 mins without success, didn't stop until blood started coming out and not in collection needle, and then without success did same thing on other arm, 2 other nurses had to come for help after all that to take blood sample. Horrible experience. I understand it could be not normal to a parents eyes but this was horrible truly, she literally kept poking for 5 mins and did same to other arm and still couldn't get it done. And then started blaming that baby is moving and asked him to keep silent 😶, 10 month old baby, all this while I was holding baby tightly to avoid all this.

Georgetown University- Medical Center: what do users think?

Diana Blackwelder: Too many staff not wearing masks. They wanted to place immune compromised patient prior to scheduled urgent surgery in shared room and bathroom built for one but with two beds only one foot apart with another patient with obvious gastrointestinal distress, blowing nose and not wearing mask. Administration states hospital is full yet tells dept of health they are at 76 percent capacity. Who is lying?

The Center for Sleep Disorders at The GW Medical Faculty Associates: what do users think?

Mary Ann Sust: If it were possible to rate negative stars they deserve it. I hoped all the negative reviews had been addressed. It is my experience and opinion they don't care about their reputation or patients. Being patronized and dismissed isn't what I would call good patient practice.. I felt insulted and demeaned. There are good sleep doctors out there, just not at this place.

Louis Gerrick: Administrative staff was rude so I didn’t move forward with the study. Never sent me a bill for the consultation and then sent the $30 account into collections? Yikes. Should’ve taken previous reviews into consideration.

Don Varley: I continue to have a horrible experience with this place. Where possible I would avoid GW Faculty Associates - I've not yet met a doctor or employee that treats you with respect and makes you feel like they know what you are doing. I would have expected differently given their affiliation, but I was wrong

Justin Flowers: One of the worst organized health providers offices I have every been to. The health care providers were great, but everything else was terrible. I almost didn't even continue with them after my first contact, but the director met with me herself to make up for it. I don't think I was ever seen on time, I was hung up on more than once (the phone was picked up, I could hear office background sounds and then the receiver was replaced). There was a privacy violation in that someone in the process of confirming my information instead of asking for it read the information to me and asked if that was mine (DoB and address I believe).

Jake Ross: UPDATE: I went to another sleep specialist and it took a total of 2 weeks to evaluate and treat me. It took GW 4 months to do half as much. Terrible. —— I'm now four months in and I have yet to receive necessary equipment for a serious illness. I feel unimportant to this practice. After I talked to an administrative assistant to elevate my concerns, she said there was nothing she could do and gave me a card with no email address on it. I wish this worked out, but I feel like they don't prioritize their patients, even if they ask for help.

barbara achstetter: Terrible. completely disorganized. If you're looking for a curbside experience as they advertise absolutely do not go there. It is a complete cluster. also if you want them to be able to write down your insurance information you should probably go elsewhere. Apparently they're incapable of doing that as well.

John Fletcher: Like the above review stated, this has to be most incompetently run office I have ever encountered. I have never left an online review in my life but this place crossed a line. In short, I called and set up an appointment for a sleep study. A week prior I received a phone call informing me I had scheduled the wrong appointment and needed to schedule an intake appointment. When I attempted to reschedule I was left on hold/hung up on/transferred to dead extensions (several times) & condescended to. WTF over!

Kate Bucacink: Based on the kind of hostile runaround I got even trying to schedule an appointment, I’m cutting my losses now.

Omar Abdallah: The most unorganized faculty on earth. go anywhere but here!!!

Labcorp: what do users think?

Haley Erdman: I had an appointment at 2 and there was no one in the office so I didn’t wait at all. The woman who took my blood was very pleasant, and used an infant sized needle to take my blood painlessly. I made the mistake of not drinking any water that day so it was hard to find a vein. She was great at explaining what she was doing & it wasn’t a bad experience at all. The only thing I will say is their office seems like grimy or dirty. They’re so for a remodel soon I guess

Suzy Kennish: I did not like my experience at all at this place. The lady at the front desk was somewhat rude she did however answer all of my questions but tried to ignore me at my first attempt of trying to ask her anything . The lab tech was extremely rude . The only times he acknowledged me was at the very beginning of the drug screening process when he had to instruct me on what i had to do and at the very end when handing me my paper work . Any questions a asked him between that time were completely ignored ! It was my first time there and I didn't know how the drug screening process worked so I was confused the entire time . Please if management sees this , teach your employees on how to be verbal and be nice with patients.

SGK S: The front desk lady , RUDE RUDE RUDE fogot my mask , ask for one and she replied in a very rude way , we do not provide masks. So I am a business man so let me ask you ,will rather loose a customer for 0.3cents mask and customer service behavior.Kenny Santos

Paul Roldan: I had an appointment for 2 for a drug screening and the receptionist tells me that they leave at 2. Literally makes no sense if im on a schedule it should be honored. W

catalina caraballo: The lab techs here are great with pediatric patients. The front desk staff is unapologetically rude and unhelpful. The woman there today will cut you off while explaining anything and has little knowledge of labs in general. Even if you’re there with your baby, there’s no kindness in the front. The back was great. Kindness should always be a core value in healthcare customer service.

Aperson7474: If I could rate this zero stars I would. I don’t know how else to express my utter distaste for my experience here. The staff at the front desk were kind and friendly. However…..the man who collected my urine sample was extremely rude and off putting. I, being a normal and kind person, said hello to him upon arrival. He completely ignored me. Upon entering the examination room, he sat down, facing the screen, and uttered nothing but the words “ID”. I was appalled. He then instructed me to place my belongings in the white bin. Along with his nasty attitude, he had a muffled tone so I did not catch what he said at first. When I polity asked him to repeat himself, he aggressively and quite harshly told me to put my things there. He then shoved the urine cup towards me without even turning around, and rudely gave me instructions. After coming back to the room, he motioned for me to place the cup on a pad without uttering a word. He then printed out some forms and had me sign something, explaining nothing. He handed me my forms and forced himself to tell me to have a good day. I was completely and entirely dissatisfied with my experience at this location. Just nasty and unnecessary. All you can do is pray for people like that.

Dee Goldstein-Childs: The front desk was fast and friendly but the technician I got was horrible! When I sat down I told her to use my right arm. I’m 68 years old and a nurse. I know which one is the better arm to use. She said no and used my left arm. She stuck me with a pretty good size needle and then went through the vein when she was almost done. I now have a large and painful hematoma! My husband had his drawn by another very nice tech who used a butterfly needle on him which is much less painful. I will never go back to this location!!

Sophia Doerr: I had a great experience at this location! I came into the facility and even though I didn’t have an appt, I only had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes total before being taken back. The woman at the front and the phlebotomist at the back were friendly and did their jobs well, as well as efficiently! Will definitely be going back. It pains me to see such bad reviews at this place when you can tell that the staff are doing their best and truly care. Also the blood draw was fast and painless!

Blinkofthe Eye: Maybe it’s because I went during a in the morning (during working hours), but everyone who worked there was so nice and kind. I didn’t have an appointment and just walked-in. It wasn’t busy, so I so I was in an out in about 25 minutes. However, it did start to get busy by the time I left, so can’t imagine how it’d be during the evenings.

Joe Susco: Let's you make reservation for service.... doesn't have staff there for the entire day to provide that service. They sent me to another location 25 minutes away. Great way to waste my morning.

American University Student Health Center: what do users think?

Madison Siciliano: Horrific and embarrassing. I had an appointment with the health center to get a simple refill on a prescription (which I was only given one fill on to begin with even though it was a prescription that I had been using for years). I was not aware that the health center now has two different entrances for COVID related symptoms and other patients. I went to the side of the health center that has always been the main entrance, and waited to talk to the front desk person for ten minutes as they went back and forth with another student over an issue they were having. Finally they spoke to me and informed me I was at the wrong place to check in, and I walked to the other side of the health center where I was told my appointment had been cancelled because I was late. I explained what happened and that I wasn't late, and the person who delayed my appointment even came over and acknowledged what happened. Even though they apologized for their wrongdoing, they refused to see me and they had no more appointments for that day. I was completely out of my medication and needed the refill that day or else my health could be jeopardized. Despite me explaining all of this, they continued to refuse to have an NP see me and told me "it wouldn't be fair for other people if I delayed their appointment." It really would have taken all of a minute for an NP to push through a new prescription for a medication I already had filled by the student health center, but why would anyone at the health center actually care about students' health? I was told to go to the CVS on Wisconsin Avenue and that they couldn't help me. I went to the CVS minute clinic and they had no appointments. Because of all of this, I had to go to the ER just to get my medication urgently refilled, and I also had to skip my shift at work that day to make sure my medication was addressed timely which impacted me financially. If you can avoid going to the student health center DON'T GO. Their negligence is disturbing.

Lily Coleman: Was not going to post a review until the second inconvenience occurred. First issue is when I arrived for an appointment, scheduled days in advance, for a literal infection and was told I could not be seen. Why? Because the N.P. was busy, even though I was the first appointment of the day as stated by the receptionist. I went to a clinic day after as HC is closed on weekends, and was immediately put on antibiotics as my condition was only worsening. More recently, I went for a fever of over 100 that had last for over three days (tested neg. for both Cov/Flu), and was prescribed cough medicine. 5 days later I am seriously unwell, again go to clinic and find I have a sinus infection that had likely started upwards of two weeks prior. Not sure how it could have been missed, and am now playing catch-up with antibiotics after missing 1 week of class. Just go... idk anywhere else?

Erin Taylor: Absolutely impossible to get into contact with anyone from the health center - you can call and email for months and never get a reply. It's ridiculous. I've called at least four times and never even spoken to a person - always a machine. I have sent at least six unanswered emails over the last three months. Also - it is a huge pain to opt out of the insurance. Insurance should be opt in, NOT opt out. They will ignore your waiver and charge you 1200 bucks for insurance you don't need and didn't know you were being charged for. And then you won't be able to get in contact with anyone to fix the issue.

Melaninluxx: Had an incredibly rude and off putting experience on the phone with be constantly cut off while speaking, having my questions dismissed and an overall disregard for anything I was saying. It’s actually sad we’re in a pandemic and clearly customer service skills aren’t needed to do customer service at AU. It’s a health center, endless students are getting sick but don’t want to deal with poor attitudes. Note to self: never get sick on campus because that was actually ridiculous

Caroline Butler: Worst admin staff, some are rude and overtly aggressive with students. Horrible response rate to inquiries. Put my health at risk by not filling prescriptions timely. Scheduling an appointment takes weeks because no one answers the phone, no one calls back. I have had to go to Deans to get the health center to respond to my calls. All I can say is don’t got here, it’s not worth it.

Yareni Murillo: fine experience. lovely staff. Adore Dr. white!

Ian W: Just wait until you die it would be quicker

Jacob Naim: Professional and good listeners

Cody Rogers: Very nice!

Miroslava Salas: Ms. Amika is the best instructor I could ever ask for my Phlebotomy class. The class is not that hard, BUT you have to pay attention to details. She will help you with your questions even if you don’t understand. She keep it real and she will train you to the best of her knowledge. She will not fail you. If you fail is because you didn’t study or care about the program. Highly recommended this program if you are serious to become a phlebotomist.

Cj Harrison: The teachers and experience were amazing. If you are looking for something to do or don’t know exactly where your life is going and want to accomplish something quick and get hired in a field that is growing, this is definitely the program for you. The method in which things were taught made it very easy to catch on. Definitely 10/10 stars!!!!

Jasmine Jones: MS Meeka is AMAZING!!!!!! She really works with you and makes sure you truly get it and are comfortable with phlebotomy. Her classes was so much fun it was hard but it’s all worth it I was able to get a job with in a month or two after the class I’m using all of the different techniques she taught me ESPECIALLY ORDER OF DRAW

NIH Clinical Center: what do users think?

Jill Harvey: I'm a medical professional myself for an unaffiliated organization, and I chose this place be an inpatient for my rare disease. The nursing staff and other supporting disciplines for inpatients are incredible—responsive, compassionate and encouraging—and most importantly, they take the time to treat each patient like an individual human. My specialty team is among, if not THE, most knowledgeable in the world about my condition. The amenities are excellent; I've been particularly enjoying the library, but there's also art, entertainment, a relaxation room, therapy animals, acupuncture and a host of other recreational activities to aid patients and/or families mentally and spiritually as they address their medical needs. Last but hardly least, it's highly rewarding knowing that while receiving such cutting edge care for myself, I'm also participating in research to optimize treatment for other patients in the future. I hope you and your family never need a place like this, but if you do, this is the place to be.

Cristian Vidrascu: It is listed here as a hospital which is open 24 hours. Beware, it is not! As we drove up to the gate with a medical emergency (severe dog bite), the lady which answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she claimed that she was the supervisor, and made it clear (in a passive aggressive way) that she was not interested in updating the research center's description online. Do not go here if you need to get to a hospital! Misleading description.

Omnia: If someone gives less then ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ something is wrong. This is the best resort, I mean hospital I have ever been to. Like, omg, its unreal. The staff is amazing. The doctors are exceptional. The food is on point. The facility is breathtaking. My only complaint is, its way too big f u are a patient. I love it but I got lost soooo many times but there was always someone there to put me back on track. Wish there was more governmental fynding ding for the endocrine department and Cushings research. Other then that. The only thing that would make this place better is to add Mediterranean food to the menu and put in a bowling aleey. Lol.other then that I love it.

Yanping Zhang: Recently had a chance to be a visitor at NIH. Very neat place, friendly staff, they have lots of volunteers coming everyday for research purpose, I'm surprised to see it functions almost like a hospital.

Danial Smith: They saved my life. I was being discharged from a local hospital in Florida when i heard of the trial here. They flew me up within two days and continued treatment for 6.5 weeks I'm forever grateful

Marie Nunez: Beautiful campus & some of the best, friendliest & smartest medical professionals I’ve encountered. They are compassionate, take their time with patients & SO punctual.

Karrie Higgins: The people at NIH are THE BEST at human-ing! Kindest people I have ever have the good fortune to meet and receive care from! I still can't get over the woman at the Information Desk who directed me when I needed to get my badge. She walked past me a day later and said "HI THERE SWEETIE! Did you get your badge?" And then a man who directed me to the right shuttle to access Metro. He saw me walk in after returning and gave me the thumbs up. It was maybe three hours later, but he remembered. The shuttle drivers! SO NICE, and I loved chatting with them. Whenever I got lost, someone would walk me to the destination. I mean, WHAT? Is this real life? The MRI dudes were incredibly patient with my stupid Chiari neck and helped me MacGyver a solution that kept me comfortable through a very long MRI -- yay! The nurses and doctors who I saw for the study I am participating in were just so sweet and frank with me. I wish ALL hospitals were like this one! Healthcare would be a little less scary. Huge fan of NIH!

Tammy “TrumpDesantis2024”: You don't have enough stars for these people! During the shut down I was being seen by the NCI staff, I had multiple tests done and was treated like a queen! I have been goint ot this facility since 1999 and have never had a problem with medical staff! Thank you Julia Friend for always taking my calls ,Cris Leete for being such a wonderful reseach nurse and Dr. Metwalli for being an awsome surgeon! Taking out my cancer and levaing my kidneys and them still working 50/50 through your talent ande Gods grace. I also see many other doctors and staff at NIH and they are all execptional.

JASON TOMLIN: The best people you could ever meet I had cancer in 2012 and was told in January 2013 I had 6 months to live and got in with these people and still here to tell people but God CURE me these people help with loving arm waiting on people

Patrick H: Although there are many amazing things about this place, the clinical center op9 is a joke on Tuesdays. Be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait. Appointments mean nothing.

Jemsek Specialty Clinic: what do users think?

Randy Robertson: I sure hate that Jemsek Speciality Clinic gets a 3.7 average on Google. Great clinic and staff. My wife keeps getting better. With a disease like Lyme and Co-infections, it is slow process but you have to keep at it. Dr Jemsek is so kind and caring. He understands this disease and what it does and can/will do to the body. Grateful

Brittany Anderson: decent doctor, however, the office communication is poor. you will NEVER get a return call or email or message in the portal regarding your care despite several attempts. it made me feel like getting care there isn’t safe.

Susan Sadick: Dr. Jemsek and his PA’s are all exceptional practitioners - his team truly have saved my life and given me back my independence. I would give the practitioners 5 stars, however, the administrative team needs a bit of work. Either way, a great team of minds.

Nikki Coccio: Dr. Jemsek needs to get his front office staff in check, with them rolling their eyes and their attitude problems! They used to be so kind, warm, welcoming, and friendly; but now they are making me second guess whether I should start seeing a different doctor. I also brought in important LEGAL documents, from my attorney, that need to be filled out, due to my disability case. It clearly stated when the documents needed to be sent in by, and the lady at the desk rolled her eyes (again) and said it would be about 30 days until they could fill it out, when it clearly states that the attorney needs it well before then! I’m also gonna stop recommending people to come to this office now. I know for a fact that they have gained new clients because of my recommendation, and Yes, I’m not tech savvy, and I have a hard time with using the portal, but that does NOT warrant for them to catch an attitude with me. They should be offering to help me figure it out and show me where I’m going wrong. This behavior is inexcusable!!! I’m spending thousands of dollars at this office, just to get treated like trash!

Lindsey Moon: Dr. Jemsek has been incredibly instrumental in helping me heal from Lyme Disease. My previous LLMD called in a favor from Dr. Jemsek to take over my care after a long hospitalization when other doctors thought I wasn't going to survive and they had no idea how to help. He has supported me and given me hope since my first appointment in September 2011. My case was advanced with major neurological damage. I had seizures that were difficult to manage, and I was severely disabled with a daunting list of symptoms. He listens to my concerns and shows tremendous care. While he is an Infectious Disease specialist, I am continually blown away by his understanding of the way the disease can affect all areas of the body. When I feel discouraged, he reminds me of the day we met and I'm amazed by the progress. He has kept his promise to never give up on me. While I see many specialists, my husband and I both check with Dr. Jemsek whenever in doubt because we trust him more than any other doctor. I also see his Physician's Assistant, Rachel Markey and she is a wonderful blessing too! She has great bedside manner, she thinks outside the box, she spends a great deal of time with me during appointments, and she stepped in when I had a big setback while Dr. Jemsek was speaking in London. I now make my appointments with either of them because they sometimes have different ideas and are great at researching new treatment methods. They are a wonderful team and I highly recommend them both!
Response: Thank you so much Lindsey!

cydney: It’s taken me this long to post bc I had to block this portion of my mama’s illness/treatment out of my mind for a couple of years to keep my sanity. At the time my 58 year old mama was suffering from MSA...a rare, aggressive and untreatable form of Parkinson's disease. We live in Charlotte where Jemsek practiced before losing his medical license due to malpractice. I had done tons of research to know that advanced stages of Lyme’s disease is often misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s. Desperately hoping that the neurologist were wrong I made an appointment and drove my mom to DC. At the time she was walking unassisted, 95% independent and cognitively she was as sharp as a whip. The morning of our appointment one of the first things they do is draw blood and told us to come back in an hour or so. And so we did. Upon returning they told us that my mom‘s blood work had been done and that she does in fact have limes and not Parkinson’s. It was one of the greatest days of my life. She and i wailed crying I was so overcome with joy. the next day we came back to the office and I had my 45 minutes “how to become a home nurse” and administer all of the IV antibiotics via her port for the next 3 weeks, My mom was on a significant dose of levodopa and sinemet to manage PD Per her doctors orders. I had taken my mama to the Cleveland clinic Emory and Chicago to see the world renowned neurologist Dr. Julian Bales. They are independently concluded that my mother had MSA prior to our visit to Dr. Jemsek. The first thing that Jemsek told my mom after telling us that her blood work came back positive for Lymes. was to stop all Parkinson’s drugs immediately. And so she did. At the end of that second day I was back on the road with my mom and milk crates full of supplies and individual bags of antibiotics that I was to administer to her three times a day. By day 4 my mom was completely immobile had lost her ability to talk. lost her ability to write she could no longer brush her teeth or feed herself. She was the worst she had ever been. I called the office and I tell them that I am having to take her to the emergency room because not only could I not physically care for her, but something was desperately wrong. I did not get a phone back from anyone at the office for 24 hours. Now keep in mind we had just left there 4 days prior and had paid $25,000 out of pocket for my mom‘s treatment for a month. When I get a return phone call The first thing I asked was for them to fax over my mom‘s blood work that Jemsek did confirming her lymes disease. During the chaos of my visit there I never asked to see the actual results. I trusted Jemsek. I TRUSTED.i never received a copy of her bloodwork and they were never able to prove to me that they had any proof at all That she was in fact positive for Lyme’s disease. Her abrupt discontinuation of her Parkinson’s medication put my mom in a life-threatening situation. She never left the hospital for four days and then was taken to a physical rehab center to where she had to learn to walk and brush her teeth and feed herself. All of those things she was doing perfectly fine before Jemsek insisted her to discontinue her medication immediately.I called the office back and told them that my mom had taken a horrible turn and based on the fact that they would not and could not provide any blood work results that they said they had to diagnose her with limes disease that we would not be continuing treatment for lymes and I would return the anabiotic‘s and I wanted my $25,000 back. The staff showed no concern at all and Jemsek would never take my call. My mom never recovered back to the condition that she was the day that she walked on her own Into Jemsek’s office 4 days prior. His Decision to pretend to be both a neurologist specializing in Parkinson’s disease and a lymes specialist Killed my mama. The withdrawals of her Parkinson’s meds at the dosage that she was on did irreversible damage.Less than 1 year later I held my beautiful mama as she took her last breath. Jemsek...Your day is coming and I’ll be there.

Elizabeth Jordan: I have been seeing Dr Jemsek for over 15 years. He has pulled me out of a hole more than once and has kept me living well and functioning well. I cannot say enough good about him. Not to mention that he personally has made great sacrifices to be able to continue to treat chronic lyme. No clinic is perfect and it is always the duty of the patient to advocate for themselves. If you don't get a call back, well call again. This is a very busy practice seeing many sick people......at best it is a very very tough job. Thank you Dr Jemsek for always being there for me and for the rest of the Lyme community!

Laura Ferguson: Dr Jemsek has been treating me since 1994. NC doctors keep saying that there isn't any Lyme Disease in this area, that's all I hear for 4 years...as my health condition continued to decline, I was finally referred to Dr Jemsek. He started me on Antibiotic IV's immediately, I was so infiltrated with the Lyme spirochetes, I was hospitalized twice, the last time I had to learn to walk again. I believe that God put me in Dr Jemsek's hands for a reason. I am alive and walking thanks to him L Houston
Response: Thank you Laura so much for your review!

Lori Anderson: So far I've only had one visit but I have to say the first appointment is VERY thorough and lasts about three hours. I never felt rushed, and I never felt like I was wasting my time. Support staff were calming and respectful and the first med change made an immediate difference. I was called immediately after lab results showed an immediate need for a medication, which I truly appreciated. They could have waited until my appointment early next week, but they called anyway. I've seen this man on Under Our Skin and I am impressed with his demeanor and his practice. Thank goodness for people like him.

Lori Smith: LITERALLY saved my life! Its a tough, long road to wellness. You need a provider who understands how to really handle this and make you well. Dr. J and his staff are fantastic. You will be in great and knowledgeable hands. They have made my entire family well again, two kids and two adults. We were very skeptical going into this, but he's the only one who really made sense. And, in the end, he really does know what he's talking about. We paid thousands of dollars for other opinions to doctors who say they are Lyme literate BUT won't treat without a positive test. It just literally means they are more concerned about their reputation than they are about making you well.

Medical Learning Center Inc.: what do users think?

Dee Lhadon: So far 5 stars for the instructors. They are very passionate about teaching and it makes you want to learn more and do better. We have been doing online classes because of the Covid and it’s not that bad as I thought it would be. Love the instructors and their way of teaching. Very knowledgeable and they pay attention to their students also.

Clifton Lewis: My experience in the LPN program at Medical Learning Center has been great. The teachers and administrators are very supportive. It is also affordable and offers flexible schedules for working professionals. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to start working in the healthcare field.

Larisa Kauta: If you are interested in becoming an LPN, this place is perfect! The staff is wonderful, they are always helpful, and want to see you succeed. This school is where my journey began, and I am forever grateful to Dr. Safi and all the staff who helped me reach my dream and goal. I am an RN now, working on my BSN. All of this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for this wonderful school and the amazing staff! If you work and study hard, if you don't make excuses, if you follow the program, and do what you are expected, then you will definitely be successful.

Myong: reasonable price and good instructors, I am satisfied with Medical Learning Center, would like to recommend this school for future LPN students

Brenda De Portillo: If I could give a 0 star I would!!!! I was a student at medical learning center,at the time she was in Arlington, I wonder why she closed that location 🤔 maybe because the school was so bad, she was being sued, maybe she wants to mask the mess she caused, people will never forget how you made them feel, that's why we all need to becareful how we treat people, I absolutely wasted my time and my single mothers money at this school, and I will never stop being hurt from this situation, this school made me feel like I wasn't smart enough,I would never be a nurse, but that was far from the truth,[TRUE STORY] I joined LPN program tuition was around $18,000 my mom paid everything! She was very hurt to know that I couldn't finish the time she thought I would, she really prayed for a better future for me,I'm tell Y'ALL! this will forever hurt me cause my mom didn't have that kind of money to spend on nothing, this lady sent me to Md for review more twice and then the next excuse was that I needed to retake few classes which was very surprising to me,cause they never once mention about you failing a class untill the very end, and almost all of us in my group had the same issue, she would tell us this then switch up, we had no idea what was going on, Deer in a headlight, let me tell Y'ALL something, if your already in this school make sure you know everything!!! Know your grades, test and quiz score, make sure you can login whatever system she got, check on your grades weekly!!, know how much tuition really is ? Cause she will keep adding, And how long is the program? Cause you might stay there forever and keep paying, anyways fast forward I was still very determined, I went ahead and tried a different school, I knew nothing was wrong with me, something was up with the school, I'm very smart, I didn't have a single problem at the other school, I did very well!passed my nclex on my first attempt with 75 questions, so I'm online checking on different schools, my ultimate goal NP and then I see this Bs it's like I'm having Deja vu🤯 ladies and gntlemen be very careful when your dealing with this lady. You are warned ⚠️

Joyce Tolentino: This is a good program if you want to become an LPN. The classes are on the weekends so it is convenient for students who are working. They also have a payment program so it is affordable. I would recommend this program.

Ashlee Bradford: This school is the worst school possible. They have blocked two of my sisters phone numbers and all she is trying to do is get an education with them. Send these foreigners back to their country if they can’t respect Americans. I will be calling the nursing board right now.

Rola Mourad: The Medical Learning Center provided me with exactly what I needed: well-founded instruction on the field of nursing assistantship and a certificate of completion that enabled me to register for the CNA state board exam and pass both the written and skills portions with flying colors on the first attempt. Mind you, it was all done in a timely fashion. Running against deadlines for PA schools, I needed to begin securing hours of healthcare experience as soon as possible and it was an immense relief to know I could enroll in class immediately and make up for any missed material later in the session. Also, instruction was conducted wholly toward passing the board's written and skills sections... thumbs up: our instructor was a state board examiner with many tips to spare. If that weren't enough, I was even recommended to the HR director of a rehab center for a job interview where I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am left with a positive experience overall, and if you're willing to keep your eyes on the prize while disregarding a few minor kinks that may or may not appear in the course of your stay in the Medical Learning Center, then you've come to the right place.

basharal qudrati: I am a student at Medical Learning Center. This school is equipped with great learning environment, great instructors, good simulation lab. The instructors and administration are very willing to help students. The curriculum is very challenging. Medical Learning Center is for those students who are focused, hard working, and motivated to study, study and study. Currently we are doing online classes for COVID-19 issues. It is also excellent and different way of teaching procedure. I really do enjoy through online classes. Finally, I want to say Medical Learning Center is the best nursing school in VA. They will make you sure to get what it takes to be a good nurse. I would highly recommend it to everyone who is interested to become a Licensed Practice Nurse.

regina ampofua: I joined the LPN class 3 months ago and l love the school so far. They are very well organized and always keep you updated with prompt communication. They swiftly transitioned to online tuition as soon as Covid-19 hit which was very helpful. The office staff and tutors are very professional. I will recommend this school to anyone who is serious about furthering their education in the nursing profession.
