Chelsea Carter: An absolute PLEASURE to work with!!! Caroline was fabulous. I wanted to embroider bathrobes as a gift to my bridesmaids for my wedding. She helped me brainstorm about fonts and placement. The final product is stunning and I can't wait to give it to all the girls! I would recommend her over and over again.

Kate Bagnoche: Ms. Caroline Eaton’s work is impeccable! I took a lab coat to her that required intricate text embroidering and an organizational patch to align with the embroidered text. Ms. Eaton not only made this happen, but she did it with tremendous speed and topnotch quality. Furthermore, her pricing is beyond reasonable. I felt like I was getting a steal after seeing the amazing craftsmanship upon completion of the lab coat embroidering. Kevin Wheeler: First the price is a scam online or other stores are cheap with great stuff. They tailor your clothing for free which is great if you don’t wanna pay. But I’d rather pay for it at another place because there they are horrible with tailoring your clothes. Some staff are great and some at not. Very Very Very slow. Took me 35 minutes line too check out because the person in front bought stuff from them and they lost his items 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Kamal C: Good place for a decent variety of uniforms but I would call first and ask questions about what exactly you are looking for and ask for sizes and color, because I went in for different colors of chef coats but they only had 1 kind...long sleeve and plain white. Krystal Elmore: Wow how things have changed. From the appearance of the store to the “sign in” process, which I love! No more worrying about metro employees cutting the line like I have had issues with in the past. Some new staff members who are friendly and professional and work a little faster! The wait was a little long like always but it’s understandable as some ppl don’t know their sizes and have to try on the clothes. Overall I’m satisfied with the improvements that’s had been made and hoping to see more as I’ll have to come here until I retire.

Anthony Barnes: This business has thee worst managers with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The managers are not very knowledgeable of the policies and procedures. The work is very poor. I am currently in the process of filing a lawsuit against the company to have my money returned for some uniform shirts they sold me that were not our proper uniform. I have vowed to let as many people know about the horrible service I received as possible. I’ve been waiting for almost 2 months for 5 shirts to be embroidered. I called the store yesterday and was promised a call back by the male manager that never happened. Today I went into the store only to be told by the female manager that they were waiting on approval from my agency to make the shirts. I paid for the shirts myself and no approval is needed. They never requested an approval for the first set of shirts I purchased so I called my job only to find out that they were not telling the truth. No one ever reached out to my job. This place should receive an award for being the most dishonest, unprofessional, poorly managed, over priced embroidery in DC.

Jack Bleat: This place is really bad. High prices, bad customer service, anything you don’t want in a store. Waited 1 hour to buy a handcuff key and a pair of pants because the manager stated that they were “busy”. There was 5 people in the store. When I checked online to buy the same pair of handcuff keys, it was $10 less than what Muscatello’s was selling it for... everyone knows this store is notorious for it’s terrible customer service. Stay away and shop online.

Vernon Vassar: Arrived around 9am only 4 people in establishment. Logged in it took almost 45 minutes before I was called. I ordered my uniforms no tee shirts short sleeve or long sleeved in Large. Got 4 pants which needed hemming 32 inch inseam. I wait 30 to 45 minutes. When I get pants they are 34 inch inseam. Now I wait another 30 to 45 minutes to get it corrected. 2 and a half hours. Mind only 4 people around before me. Some things never change 😡😡

Tam Nguyen: I just stopped by this place since it was a little chilly outside. The proprietor, Charlie, could not have been nicer. I quickly found a jacket and he rung me up with a discount when I told him this was my old neighborhood. I used to live in 16 Street Heights and went to school at Sacred Heart in Mount Pleasant. I was then able to quickly rejoin my family at Purple Patch to celebrate Mother’s Day. Thanks for the excellent customer service!

Deborah Enten: El West is my little secret to find a great Halloween costume, they have a lot of unexpected and creative pieces, most of them hand made or altered by Charlie, who makes a lot of the cool but inexpensive jewelry too. He makes a lot of stuff, costumes for burning man by request. He is a super talented dude that works there, so whomever is looking for cool one of a kind pieces, from bags to Scottish kilts, to leather bunny ear masks and wild west bolero belts, go see Charlie and see what he's got for you! The shop is a good place to find cute pieces for the spring and summer too, stop by and give this neighbor hood shop a hello!

Terry Chasteen: Bought my western boots there in a pinch. Needed them to dance on a float that day during Capitol Pride and was in and out in no time. The lady was so helpful and friendly and didn't break the bank. Great to have a Country/Western store right here in DC. Plus they had a LOT of other stuff; hats, accessories, etc that I didn't have time to look at but the prices were very affordable. Five stars (out of 5).

She was able to listen to my vision and then make suggestions that I could see in the store. We then went back and forth on the proofing process which allowed me to make some final tweaks. I am order my baby announcements from them shortly.

Jackie Stumpo: I worked with Allison for my wedding invitations, she listened to what my wants and needs were and made great recommendations that made the design and proofing process simple and stress free. During my appointment, the owner Lindsay came out and introduced herself and made me feel so welcomed. The invitations arrived on time and they look gorgeous!

Kate Guilfoyle: We used Dandelion Patch for all of the paper for our wedding from save the dates to invitations to day-of materials, and I simply cannot say enough good things about them! From the first time we met, Jill was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable about timelines, etiquette, design, and more. I felt very clueless coming into the wedding planning process and Jill immediately put me at ease! I had only a few ideas about what I wanted and do not consider myself artistic at all, but Jill was able to run with my ideas and turn them into magic. I also used watercolors made by my mother-in-law for both our save the dates and reception centerpieces and Jill was so flexible about weaving this art into her own. Jill was able to incorporate things that were very meaningful to my husband and me (e.g. a DC map as the invitation envelope liner) and we got tons of compliments from guests. I was absolutely in love with everything Jill designed and can truly say that our save the dates, invitations, and various day-of paper products (welcome sign, table numbers, escort cards, programs, signage, etc.) were one of my favorite parts of our entire wedding process! Jill and Lindsay are both such a joy to work with - warm, professional, reliable, and amazing at what they do. They were extremely patient with my feedback and seemingly endless questions throughout months of planning and I am forever grateful. I always knew I was in good hands with them and I would highly recommend Dandelion Patch to anyone!

Emily Shaw: I love this place--such a friendly neighborhood vibe. I get all my plants here, and this one guy who works there (sorry don't remember the name) is my plant guru. They will repot your plants for a small fee if you bring them in, which is so helpful when you live in an apartment. Also--their plants are so reasonably priced!! I bought a gorgeous 7-foot fiddle leaf fig on a whim because the price was literally a quarter of what you'd pay at [unnamed nearby plant shop]. Thank you for everything you do!!

Paul Durbin: If you want service and quick check out go to True Value on 17th. Completely different experience with knowledgeable staff ready for you at the door who will help you and then check you out right away. 100% of the true value staff knows their stuff. Here it’s mainly people who will just check you out and don’t know hardware. This place has equally good inventory and later hours, but it’s not a hardware store experience. And for what it’s worth this is an Ace Hardware, which advertises on Fox News, should you want to avoid supporting Fox.

Baba Harsh: This place is great, I understand it's a mom and pop shop but man the prices are super high. The people are somewhat helpful but got a lot of short answers. Ended up at Home Depot.

Kev- keepingitreal: This Walmart offers Capital City Mambo Sauce, Fruits, Vegetables, Seafood, Poultry, Dairy and all sorts of Household Items. This Walmart needs to improve its Elevator services, only two out three of the elevators are working, it would be nice if they removed one of the elevator and replace it with stairs that lead customers from the parking garage to the street level and to Walmart store level for easy access. The current stairs only give customer access from the street level to Walmart store and no access to the parking garage. This Walmart includes a Pharmacy and free two hours of parking in the parking garage. This store has shopping carts available in the store and in the garage areas.

Mirka Mendez: It's Walmart, there are no grocery stores nearby (that I know) so it's an option. Smaller than the usual supercenter, very small produce section. There was an approximately 10 min wait at every registers when I visited.

PaulDavid Morado: Not exactly the best side of town. It is Walmart so all things that go with Walmart come along with this place. It's not close to any Metro station so be prepared for a walk is it on the other side of Chinatown. Excellent place for fruits and vegetables in all things grocery but be prepared also to bring your own bags as there seems to be carts missing

Aminah Imani: Its conveniently located but not the best Walmart to be in. The customers were loud and the security with large bullet proof vests doesn’t make it a welcoming vibe. Grab your products and head out quick. They do validate parking and leave patience for the slow running elevators. The employees were helpful and efficient. This location isn’t my preference but it gets the job done when in dire need.

Sassy Sauce: Mixed experience with this store. It’s a good location and there is parking available in the underground garage. First 2 hours are free. The store has items locked in a case that I couldn’t understand. For example, women’s underwear and some personal hygiene items. Also, the store wasn’t too crowded while I was there and the associate I asked to help me gave me clear directions as to what aisle the product I needed would on. The parts of the store I visited were clean and the overall shopping experience was ok. No major complaints. Just strange observations about profits being locked behind glass.

C. Zed: Well it exists, that I appreciate. I’ll continue to shop here. The cashiers scan items more than once, has already happened twice for me. The store is small and often too messy. The aisles are narrow, and the carts are way too big for the store. Many items are locked behind cases. Could be a better experience, especially for the closest location to the US Capitol.

Virginia S: Need more employees/cashiers working. These stores rely too heavily on self checkout. Which is fine if you like to DIY but there shouldn't be so little cashiers that you turn the customers into employees and shoppers at the same time. Some people go shopping for the experience of the human interaction they have buying their things, having someone else ring it up is part of the experiences. Stop cutting corners your customers are not happy with it trust me

Van D Peluche: Terrible terrible. Twice I have ordered online groceries and the first time I did not get it until an hour later and the second time I didn’t get it until a day later than the scheduled period. Absolutely awful. Plus no one in any department answers phone calls. And their produce is very poor quality. May as well not even have the grocery delivery service. Will not even notify about orders being held for the next day.

Harriet Saulsbury: Love shopping at Walmart, some of the eorker are rude ask them a question they always say its not my department and walk away. Another thing as many seniors and disable people shopping there on a daily basis you only have maybe 10 electric scooters for the entire store which is a super store but you have maybe only 2 scooters working. You also took away your seating you have in the lobby of the stores where are we supposed to sit and wait on rides and family members to finish shopping?

Groggy Grocer: Been coming here for years and it's my favorite accessories shop in DC! While they don't always have everything you could possibly be looking for or as in depth as some of the specialty shops in town, they always have a good mix of the essentials and some cool hard to get items. The thing that makes this my favorite shop and the reasons me and my team still go here is THE PEOPLE! The service is GREAT and the people there are super friendly and fun to talk to! Funky Piece has been around for years for a reason! Keep it up! 💪

Mike Dontneedtoknow: Funky piece always has a wide variety of items. If you ever feel overwhelmed with the selection, the staff is super knowledgeable about everything in stock and they always help you find exactly what you’re looking for. On top of that some of the best prices in ADMO without compromising quality. 10/10 would recommend.

Sequan Onley: I came into funky peace a few days ago because I was looking for a last minute house warming gift for a friend. A short white woman with glasses was very helpful and was able to meet the expectations that I had in mind. The shop also has a very wide range of rolling paper selections, bongs, and torch selections. You won't regret wanting to shop here. :)

Caitlin Croswell: Great shop with excellent customer service. I got my boyfriend the perfect gift there and the staff was super helpful in assisting me with picking something out of the vast inventory. Definitely recommend for all your pipe bong papers etc needs!

Emory O'Dell: I recently stopped smoking cigarettes and was looking for an alternative that wasn’t a patch. However the idea of visiting a smoke shop was very intimidating for me - I didn’t even know the proper terminology for what it was I was looking for. The staff made me feel like I was in good hands and that there were still good “highs”’to be had after cigs, the manager presented me with a range of flavors that I think fit a flavor profile for clientele of a more seasoned smoker - I’m no longer in my early 20s and my flavor preferences are beginning to show that. nance nichols: The staff is very nice although it doesn't appear they have much if any experience in crafts. They have a limited, albeit, somewhat clever inventory, which I feel is a little pricey compared to some on-line and brick and mortar stores.It is easily found off both front and back parking lots.

Jessica Boada: Good prices but it needs better employees that really like to help . Today is 1/28/22 l was at walmart 2 days ago the skate boards were price 18.98. So today i go buy the skate the price is the same i get to ✔ out the guy goes the price is 29.98 im like no they are wrong so i asked him to fix honor the price he said he can not do it the manager comes show me a picture if you want the item i go take the pic waited in line again another cahier tried to help but the first cashier said no I have the transaction on hold. So i kept on waiting them it was only one person behind me and he said i cannot do it go to customer services. I go he said to customer i have a big line i was like really. Ok finally thay send me back to the manager and she did not ask for the pic or anything and charged me 29.98. But before this she said to the customer service do not come with that. Anyway she was not even wearing the mask properly she had it on her neck. I end up returning the item and got the price at customer service with a DIFFERENT cashier after 3 different lines. taqueya spriggs: I experienced very poor customer service. My family and I shopped here for the first time a week ago and the cashier who rung the father of my children's items began yelling at him because he realized after placing his items on the belt that he forgot to pick up an item that he needed in the aisle. Thereafter, the cashier began shouting for him to return to the checkout counter to complete his transaction because the store was closing soon. I for one don't have a problem with store personnel explaining to me that I am unable to go back to the aisles to select additional items to purchase because closing time is vastly approaching, but it's how you talk to people. Not to mention store security personnel tried to intimate myself and the father of my children in front of them as if he wanted to arrest us. He also became antagonizing by ordering another patron nearby to pull out his phone to video record him throwing me out of the store when I had no involvement with the incident that transpired between the cashier and my significant other. I will never shop at this location again and retail workers should be mindful of their tone and demeanor with customers because my significant other was not being confrontational, disorderly, or destroying property after being publicly humiliated in front of everyone in the store for no apparent reason. This kind of behavior is shameful and despicable and I was mortified. I am a regular shopper of Walmart corporations and I spent a lot money that day and do not deserve to be treated like a common criminal. With everything going on in the world and due to poor customer service and lack of respect for others, I think retailers should convert their services over to online shopping. This way customers can still reap the benefits of shopping without the having to potentially endure poor customer service. In the future Amazon will get all of my business.

Keshia Wideman: The absolute worst customer service ever. The store manager Patrick is non responsive to the lack of professionalism and ethics of the staff concerning, customers concerns/complaints. They are definitely a representation of his leadership and it shows. He doesn’t follow up on cooperates complaints, and the store is not organized properly at times. They don’t honor price misplaced items, and the cashiers are sarcastic, and rude at times. Crystal has been there awhile and can be rude and dismissive. I had to address her , and others about their rude, unethical behavior.

Michael Perez: If Purgatory exists, this Walmart will be a level. The place was clean and had an organization known to them. Not like any I've ever visited (and I've had the pleasure...to visit more than a few) but I'm sure when you've done your penance of shopping here a few times you get used to it. What really sets this store apart from the others is the stylistic hell that is the checkout process. 7 lanes with at least 9 patrons each. Cashiers that appear to be participating in a slow-down strike (and if they are, my hat's off to them and their cause). And at least 3 arguments between customers that verged on World Star territory. I will say that the curbside personnel were a little more engaged in their work.

Meghan Elizabeth: Grey hair lady at self checkout needs to find a different job or just retire. There is no reason an employee, especially one of her age, should be treating customers so poorly and getting a major attitude at anyone who is just trying to find a register that is working. If machines need fixed they need to kindly tell people to wait. Not be rude, make a scene and glare at everyone who is waiting to checkout. Who lets these kind of people work here???? India Lindsay: We LOVE this restaurant. Recommend catching the happy hour that’s until 7 on weekdays Every dish and drink is so yummy. Waiters are friendly and offer great service. Atmosphere is nice but relaxed. You don’t need reservations and very affordable with big portions. My Filipino friend said it was some of the best spicy fried chicken he’s had Celebrated my birthday here and they gave us a delicious serving of ube bread pudding, best bread pudding I’ve had!

Cary Michael: Purple Patch DC was a delightful dining establishment that definitely lives up to its name: most of the menu items are adorned with a garnish of purple (Ube ice cream, orchid, etc.), and the restaurant is tucked into a "patch" down a small set of stairs. The menu consisted of hearty, American food with a fancy Filipino twist, and my party tried a variety of food options that we all found delicious (as presented in the photos of this review). Some of our favorite beverages were the Spicy Calamansi Margarita, made with their house-infused roasted jalapeno tequila, and the Purple Patch Hot Cider, which paired well with our meals on this cold, snowy winter afternoon. Some of our favorite food items were the Fried Calamansi Wings, Crispy Eggplant, Crab Fritters, Fried Red Snapper, and their signature Ube Waffle & Filipino Fried Chicken, in which the chicken was braised with soy and vinegar and the Ube Waffle was served with a scoop of Ube ice cream and a side of macapuno (coconut) syrup. Also, because it was my birthday, I was gifted with the most delicious thing to ever grace the surface of my taste buds - the Ube Bread Pudding was by far, one of the most heavenly things I've tasted, and was the absolute perfect way to top off this amazing brunch experience. The bread itself was warm and lightly sweetened with condensed milk, while served with a caramel drizzle, granola and a scoop of Ube ice cream. Overall, between the superior customer service, low-key, homey ambiance, delicious entrees and divine cocktails, the entire brunch experience was absolutely splendid! While they don't take reservations, I highly recommend Purple Patch and encourage you to call in advance the day of your planned visit. No matter what you order, be sure to try the Ube Bread Pudding and you won't be disappointed!

Pedrom Rejai: Incredible food!!!! Can't give it enough stars. Sizzling sisig is very meat heavy and very well done. Bread pudding was excellent and the other few things we tried were great. Service was excellent, good vegetarian options, and I like that they automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill. Will definitely come back!

Jacqueline Telljohann: My husband and I love Filipino food, but there isn't much of it in Charlotte (where we're from). A Yelp friend recommended this spot to me and it was only a block from where we were staying, so coming was a no brainer. They do brunch every day, but the best part is, you can order from the dinner menu during brunch hours too! So if you want the most options, go for brunch. My husband and I shared: - Ube Waffle & Filipino Fried Chicken with Ube Ice Cream - Sizzling Sisig - Ube Bread Pudding - Ube Cheesecake Between the entrees, the Sizzling Sisig was my favorite. I love this dish and this is the best version of it that I've had. The Ube Waffle wasn't bad, but I couldn't taste any ube flavor. As for dessert, I LOVED the Ube Cheesecake. The Ube flavor was strong in this one. It wasn't a dense cheesecake either which I liked. I was disappointed about the Ube Bread Pudding. The menu said it was supposed to come with caramel sauce, but instead it came out covered in chocolate sauce. I don't like chocolate, so I didn't eat it. I wish the menu had been accurate because I easily could have ordered it without the chocolate sauce if I had known. I'd love to come back sometime because there were many other things I wanted to try.

Alexis Colon: Went to the Purple Patch after a day at the zoo! It was so great! We sat outside and the food was very flavorful with good portions. Our waitress was super nice and the service overall was great

James Wang: A quaint little restaurant that makes the most of its space in a small underground hallway. The staff are very attentive and caring and go above and beyond. They are known for their hot cocktails (their hot apple cider is incredible) and their brussel sprout starter that is superb. I quite enjoyed their pork belly adobo, however the portion size was smaller than I had expected and the sauce slightly saltier than I would have liked. However, the meat was very tender and the rice was well cooked. To end the meal, I would recommend their Halo Halo dessert (Filipino version of a shaved ice) or any dish served with Ube ice cream since it tastes delicious. Overall, great dining experience but the main entree left me wanting more.

Josh Axelrod: Purple Patch is a vibey outdoor spot in Mt. Pleasant, perfect for grabbing lunch or drinks with friends. Servers are beyond friendly here. The food itself is nothing to write home about, but there are several good options on the menu, and you'll have so much fun people-watching from the heated patio that you likely won't need to pay super close attention to your food.

Jonathan Ng: As a tourist to DC, I had heard of the famous Purple Patch restaurant from many of my fellow Filipinos (or kababayan), and I sought it out on my last night at DC. It took a moment to find the restaurant in the dimly lit streets of suburban DC, however I was pleasantly surprised to find Purple Patch well-staffed. As a Filipino food traditionalist, I decisively ordered Arroz Caldo (as an appetizer), Pork Belly Adobo & Garlic Rice (as a main), and Brazo De Mercedes (as dessert), paired alongside a Frozen Dalandan shake. Without a shadow of a doubt, I was thoroughly delighted by the wonderful tastes of home as I completed my meal. The Arroz Caldo was a perfectly calibrated recipe that accentuated the ginger and the meat stock. The Pork Adobo was a fantastic callback to my home with its generous serving of cubed pork and vegetables. And finally, the Brazo De Mercedes was a creative innovation of traditional Filipino dessert and a fruity presentation.

LJ Aranda: It's a popular Filipino restau in DC. We ordered bistek and bicol express. My husband really likes the bicol express. The bistek was just okay for me - it was too sour at least for me. My husband also enjoyed the brazo de mercedes with ube ice cream on top.

K Culbertson: I have shopped at Ayers Hardware for over 40 years now, and every time I go I don't want to leave. There are always wonderful little treasures to find throughout the store. Their bird seed selection is great (including suet feeders), and their housewares never disappoint. I make a regular trek to the store at least once a month.

Hannah Wiegard: The staff are dedicated and helpful. The selection is always surprising and reliable. More than that it’s the kind of long-standing place in the community where you can just be part of the scene. No trip to the Westover farmers market is complete without a visit to Ayers for a seasonal or fun extra thing or some odds and ends for the house. This store is home.

Whether you are looking for a specific tool or the most completely random household item, it’s likely they will have what you need.

Dennis Watts: Just not your average blue Walmart for people who don't live in DC this is really unusual to see a Walmart on a city block and the color is not blue and white, it's made out of brick with a black logo that's pretty unusual

Wesley Pace: The workers are great and helpful. The only gripe is I see a lot of people who are much older and not as mobile that need scooters, and there aren't many for them, so they are often waiting for them. And if they opened more registers it wouldn't be sp crowded.

Adam Stoddard: You know you're in a good part of town when shaving cream and car electronics are kept under lock and key. Got passed around between several employees and then a manager before somebody could procure a key for a case. Same thing happened with another case. Suffice to say I was unable to completely suppress my inner Karen...

Arielle M. (Mermaid): This is the best Walmart in DC. I actually drive out the way to go to this walmart. They even have a better food selection than Giant. For Easter I found 48 count of empty eggs for 1.98!! Which is amazing because I would of spent way more if I went anywhere else!

The staff was very friendly and helpful because I am in a wheelchair they offered to help me with items I couldn't reach.They had a variety of all kinds of foods and beverages. This will be my Walmart supercenter that I will be attending from now on keep up the great work and I will continue to be a valued customer.

Sarah West: A large mixed selection of items you can get any 3 for TEN DOLLARS. Selected high end new items are priced accordingly. Kids, mens, and womans apparel and shoes. If you have the knack for treasure hunting in thrift stores.....THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. thrifty and unique pieces all year round

Matthew Unger: The employees were fantastic and would be 5 stars, but not being able to not use yet another app makes for a poor customer experience that part I would give a 1 star, but I don't want to hold what seems like a wonderful store to a corporate specific issue. I cannot say enough good things about the employees that helped me and even apologized for a company wide corporate issue.

Jennifer Bowling: No shopping carts. Waited a long time and eventually just went back down to the parking garage to get one myself. The shelves were very disorganized in some areas and a lot of out of stock products. And the lines were very long. The cart escalator was broken and both elevators had orange signs indicating they were not safe for use, but were still being used.

carolyn jackson: I love this store. My favorite associates work here. This store always have a lot of cashier's on duty. The store is as least fully stock.

danceswithcars w: While the renamed store still hosts TheBikeHouse on the edge of the parking lot and tools inside, not much else has changed, afaict, still kind of unpaid day laborers in relation to a for profit store. When at Qualia it was coffee/light foods and taking over the back yard. This tools, supplies and learning some basic mechanics. How to change a flat. How a ratchet works. On up through what can be done with bikes... At times I wish TBH would takeover a foreclosed property and have a home... Until then I guess buy cold sweet liquids while baking to death in the heat without bathroom nor filtered cold water access. FWIW I was at the (original) opening with council member(s), food truck, etc. District HW (w 🚲), old Capital Hill Fragers that burned, saw deceased mayor there, etc.

Mark Pry: Excellent hardware store in the Petworth area that typically has everything I need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Chris was especially helpful when I needed to grab a few bags of mulch!

James Rayford: The service was horrible. After standing in the isle for 8 to ten minutes I had go get someone and his response was go get it bring it here. Then finally coming to help with one item only he disappeared. So I walked out.

Daniel Alexander: The first time I came to this location, I received excellent help in finding the right size nail for a small drawer. But today, despite the store not being very busy, no one offered much help in me trying to decide on plants or planters. Fine, I can do it myself. But then the plastic plate rang up for over twice the actual price. And none of the plastic planters have any prices, so I ended up returning everything and leaving with only time wasted - if I can't trust the register to ring up one item properly (aka theft) then I think the other prices might be wrong (or just way overpriced for some cheap plastic planters).

Stephanie Shipp: Well, here's a one star in lieu of a no stars. Purchased an ACE water sprinkler a couple of months ago which was leaking badly when I fired it up in our first warm spell. I read the ACE guarantee on the back that says if not completely satisfied bring it back for a replacement or exchange. Which I did...only to be told ACES are independently operated and that this store's guarantee is only good for 30 days. So two strikes you're out.....your product stinks and your guarantee stinks. On to Amazon, goodbye ACE.

Betsy York: The beachfront room was a disaster for $120 a night. The plumbing underneath the wood floors was broken and water flowed up out of the floor for two days. Large cockroaches crawled up the walls at night and there was no toilet paper or tissues. My favorite was no hot water for the shower. I decided that after staying here for over 20 years, it is time to move on. When I told the desk clerk about the broken pipe he said I shouldn't worry about it, probably was a leaking air conditioner.

Along the way, another employee asked me if I was looking for something, I told him about the item I was looking for, and he gave me further directions to it. When it came time to pay, the guy up front said he was happy he found the item I was looking for; the item in question was sand paper. Great thoroughness service.

Without a box or receipt in hand, we brought it back to see what may be possible to do. Associates TK, Nicole S, and Anton were able to use the debit card used to purchase to look up my receipt to get our return sorted. We so appreciate them going truly above and beyond to show us their compassion and excellent customer service.

Jasmine Thomas: Mobile Tech Has A Rude Raspy Voice Lady Working There. Ms.Kathy Is Extremely Unprofessional & Doesn’t Know What She Is Talking About. She Lied & Told Me That An AT&T Phone Was Unlocked. The Phone Wasn’t Unlocked & I Was Trapped In A Contract. I Explained To Her That I Wanted A Unlocked Phone & She Insisted On Telling Me The Phone I Bought Full Price Was Unlocked, Yet I’m Getting Stuff In My Email Saying I Have A Contract That I Have To Pay Off My Phone. Her Attitude Is Stank & She Never Has Her Mask Up On Her Face. Columbia Heights Target Do Better, Her and Her Unprofessional Ways Are Bringing Your Company Down Tremendously. Shayna Deverman: Dirty, unorganized, extremely low stock on everything. Items thrown everywhere, picked over. Shoe isle was a disgrace. Nice they have an “Ulta”, but very limited items. Took me several minutes to figure out where body wash was. Haircare, travel, makeup is all grouped together in the front/middle-like typical but body wash/deodorant was clear on the end of the store. Terrible flow. All that looking and they had very limited washes! Men’s selection had more to choose from. Went in there with a very basic list and got one thing on it… my nearest Walgreens was more helpful…disappointing since I love me a Target trip. I won’t be back to this one.

Kaila Gilbert: Good store, could benefit from more helpful signage 😂 idk throw a digital map on the wall or something. but even though I got vertigo/whiplash/confused trying to find a suitcase (they're on the 2nd floor in the wayback) no complaints and the people are good. Most people do self checkout bc line passes fast, so don't be intimidated if it's long. Idk choose your adventure. Shoe section looks a litttle crazy in the afternoons, but that's consistent with the behaviors/type of people who live here lmao. Moving too fast, not putting stuff back, lowkey entitled ahaha

Thomas Nali: NO PARKING VALIDATION Poor inventory. This is on a regular old Monday. I asked for the product I was looking for, they checked in the back, and said it was too hard to get to and another employee would work on it, but they don’t know how long it will be. This was at almost noon. Look at how few dairy products are on the shelf. Staff continued to prove unhelpful. I asked four different employees where a type of product was and they each told me to find someone who worked in that dept. OR they just told me they “probably don’t have it” WITHOUT even looking or bothering to find where it should be!! They tried to walk off but I said I am not satisfied until we find the shelf where it should be, and I’ve been looking for fifteen minutes. Took all of that to get some help finding one little thing.

Ted Socha: Ever since this Target added self-checkout, they've relied solely on it. At most, they open only one regular checkout line if self-checkout gets long. Better off going to the CVS across the street. 10/7/19 update: this place either needs to solve their self-checkout problem or open up more than one regular cash register

Sade Wilson: I was shopping today at the Washington D.C target store and was purchasing gift for my family I found some nice things and for a really good price. I went to check out and the items were ringing up different from what the price was upstairs I explained to the cashier he called for a manager. The manager name tiffany came and refuse to change the price the for two of the items but change it for the other too items. I continue checking out because I didn’t want to wait to long after I was done checking out I went upstairs to take pictures to show the manger she still refuse and walk away.

Donna Walker: Buyers we aware the prices in Target are going up every week and its terrible and make sure you know the prices of your items because the shelf price and the register price can be different at times. Security was following me for no reason so I had t let him know you are following the wrong person. I catch more people stealing at Target and I do not work there. Also, some of the employees are so rude. I will be recording my conversations with the employees when I need to ask for help as proof of how rude some of them can be.

Audrey Lester: Blind Customer: I increased shopping here during pandemic, as it’s in my community. On nearly all visits, I’m greeted at front door by a very knowledgeable staff member. I love how they know where every item is specifically located - like really! Upon entry, you’re on main isle. To your left are short isles leading to registers. Staff always escort me through store or to elevator where I’m met by another team member on lower level. Ayesha, General Manager, allows items to be opened for me when possible so I can feel item. I especially love their text message lime where consumers can ask questions before visiting store. Great Team!

koura Gibson: Disappointed to be rudely treated for “walking into store” before opening. The door was wide opened and I entered only to be charged aggressively by the 3 attending employees, shouting for me to exit. I had to calm them down of their excitement to reprimand me for entering the store. There was no indication that the store was not opened. No hours were posted ether. Then the older guy rudely and aggressively closed the door as I exited. He then snarkly stated “I guess!” When informing him that 8:00 was in 14 minutes. It was really disappointing to have to endure such rudeness in the morning.

Al Boyd: Customer service, was excellent. But I didn't appreciate being mistaken for a thief. I had the receipt was in my bag. I am a retired police officer, I don't need too steal anything from anyone.

Nathan Deunk: Very convenient location, and they've really improved the store since they moved locations. Unfortunately, Fragers employees and contractors consistently endanger the residents of the surrounding community by illegally parking on both 11th SE and Pennsylvania SE. I can't support a store that cares so little for their neighbors, especially when those neighbors are their customers.

Nick Ewing: I always try to do my hardware shopping in this location. Employees are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Store is always well cleaned and well stocked. Perfect location to drop off UPS packages as well!

Lou Feagans (Louie): Nice selection of products, clean helpful shopping environment. However, they do not respect the Brookland neighborhood and place signs illegally on street lights and blocking sidewalks. Can not recommend supporting a business that does not respect the neighborhood within which it operates.

Sharon Winget: Another reason why I love this hardware store--amazing customer service. Today they accepted the return of a product I purchased there more than one month ago, without the receipt. Turns out if you use your Ace Rewards # on purchases they have a record of it. On multiple occasions I have turned to them after a frustrating experience at Lowe's or HD and received personalized service from one of their many knowledgeable staff to find what I needed or to get helpful suggestions or directions on how to get something done, ie paint my kitchen cabinets. Can't recommend these folks highly enough.

Stephan Roberts: Amazing service! I accidentally ordered the wrong thing for a project and Thomas and the rest of the staff made sure I got what I needed and delivered it the same day.

Conor O'Brien: A+ customer service It’s not the biggest hardware store, but they have an impressive amount of tools and supplies in the shop. Really helpful with regard to lawn care projects in particular. Great knowledge of local soil and the best grass seed for the hot summers.

Anelise Cimino: This is my go to place for any household thing I need. It always has everything and is always stocked. But what makes me give this place five stars is the customer service. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is extremely nice, helpful and neighborly. I love going in with my dogs and saying hello. It brightens up my day to go in there and THAT'S a rare thing these days.

Lisa-Marie Brandt: Wonderful experience at this Annie's. Needed some screws and the person working in that aisle really helped me a lot. He took the time to listen and find just what I needed, and I solved my furniture problem when I got home! Thanks to the staff, who are all really helpful and nice!
