Biff Corning: The CertaPro crew did an excellent job in doing staining and carpentry work on our pergola, screened in porch, and deck floor. They were incredibly precise in their work, extremely clean and neat and they took the quality of the service and work they did very seriously. Mario is European and extremely dedicated professional, he loves what he does and that makes the difference. I found the service through a quick google search as I just moved to del ray, so I got lucky. It has taken me a while to write this review as I usually only make the effort when the service is extremely good or bad. This was extremely good. Repainted my condo completely in 1-2 days. Finish was incredible and listened to what I wanted and asked me the right questions. The best part was the recommendation to repair the front door for character, a great finish you can still see the wood grains. The floor was also exceptional finish. See before and after. 10/10

I compared Brunga Bros estimate to 3 other contractors. Brunga Bros was not the cheapest, but I believe they were the best value based on the quality of workmanship. In addition, Brunga Bros did not underestimate the time to complete the job. Brunga Bros estimated two days and completed the job in two days. Brunga Bros is now my go to painter. Highest recommendation if you want an honest/quality painter.
Emily Brown: We hired Mario to paint the exterior of our home, which is original brick and siding from an addition. Mario is a true professional who answered all of my many questions and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with all the details of the project. Mario and his team did a superb job, and cared for so many details that a contractor could easily ignore. On top of providing an excellent paint job, Mario is a joy to work with and truly passionate about his art. I would recommend him to any one looking for a painter in this area.

Thomas Flanagan: We had a project we wanted completed for a long time- getting recessed lights put in the main room and bedroom. Klappenberger & Son, and Daniel and his team, were amazing! We contacted him for a quote for the job and we promptly had Daniel over who sketched up an estimate of the project. We had to put it on hold until we got our schedules and finances in order before starting and Daniel was flexible. When we were ready to go, we were contacted with times that the electrician would be working. The electrician, Paul, was so accommodating, took EXTRA care to ensure that the plans were exactly as we wanted them, and diligently did his work. He checked in to make sure things were looking good from our end and he always cleaned up at the end of the day. The crew that came to repair the walls and repaint were great. In only a day they patched up the holes and got it looking like nothing had happened. All in all, our experience with Daniel and his team exceeded all our expectations. We live in a small condo building that had experienced many years of neglect, and the paint was badly peeling on brick, limestone, wood and sheet metal surfaces. Klappenberger & Son took the time to prep all surfaces properly to ensure that the finished coats of paint would last, and they worked with us closely to focus on the critical areas of the building that needed the most help, and those that would be visible from the street. Natalie Young: Rent Painters We needed to repaint the entire interior of our new home. We had three painting companies come out and give us quotes and Rent Painters came in at a competitive rate. We were also impressed by Chris’ knowledge and professionalism at the time of the quote, so ended up hiring them for the job. They did a great job painting the house. What we really, really appreciated was that Chris advised us against the color we had initially chosen for the trim in our hallways and living/dining room area. We are SO glad he talked us into a different color for the trim, which worked out so much better. Chris also asked his team to hold off on painting certain areas so that we could see the colors in real life before moving forward. That was a big help and led us to make some changes to our plan. Skyelar Riseling Haith: Rent painters did a great job painting the exterior of our home. We received multiple estimates and Rent Painters was by far the best price. But the quality of work did not decrease! Chris and his team worked on preparing all the surfaces: poeer washing entire house, scrapping metal awnings and sanding and caulking wood trim around windows and doors. Chris suggested and explained paints he would be using and even researched the best finishing to use on our exposed concrete porches. The crew was friendly, timely and worked through some pretty hot days. The job was interrupted a few times due to rain but they communicated when work would continue each time. Chris and his crew were very responsive to all the questions I had and at checking on and fixing an area we found the paint sprayer missed. Emma Coffey: ColorTech Building Renovations exceeded expectations... again! This is the third time we have used them for work in our offices and two office remodeling jobs. We just completed remodeling our Woodbridge office where they framed new door openings, new counter openings, demolition, repaired entire walls from equipment being removed. Their team was in there with halogen lights to make sure their drywall finishing had no imperfections. They worked through the weekend, evenings and early mornings to make sure we hit our target opening date, which was only a two (2) week window. Jonathan Roy: I got a number of quotes and references from ~6 different painting companies in the area. Ulysses and Good Fellas came in at a reasonable price and with good references, so I went with them for a full interior painting project of a 4 bedroom house. His office was well-organized and prompt with any questions related to scheduling or invoicing. His team showed up on time, did a very professional job, and completed the work within their estimated work window (5 days total on what they estimated would be 5 or 6 days). I have nothing but good things to say about Good Fellas, I will recommend them to my friends and family and would be happy to do business with them again!

Michelle Verneman: LOOK NO FURTHER AND HIRE CERTAPRO TODAY!! We are so, so happy that we decided to hire CertaPro to paint our 20-foot walls. The crew showed up right on time and got the job done perfectly and thoroughly. They asked lots of questions to clarify exactly what we wanted painted and what we wanted patched. I wish I had taken before pictures to show their complete attention to detail. We had a filthy air intake vent that was too high for us to reach, and Luis and his crew not only cleaned it, but also painted it to blend in with the wall. They patched so many holes in the walls that were not even aware of as well as a crack in the ceiling and a dent in our window seat. We are blown away and will be hiring CertaPro in the future for all of our painting projects!

Amy Borek: Jeff and his team were amazing. Jeff was able to come out and give me an estimate the day I called him. I selected Merrifield Paint & Design because they had the highest ratings on google. In Hindsight, totally deserved! He was super knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining how the job (wallpaper removal) would be performed. The job turned out better than expected! It looked so good that we had them do additional work. In total we have wallpapers removed from about 7 rooms in our home. Marco and Erick where friendly and super clean. They never left trash behind. The project—even with the additional work was completed with in the time and cost Jeff projected. I would definitely recommend.
Adam Goldsmith: After getting six estimates, we decided to go with Merrifield Paint & Design to paint the interior of our house largely because of Jeff. He was personable, gave us honest answers to our questions and even helped with some of our color selection. The crew did a great job with everything from patching numerous holes in walls, stripping wallpaper, and of course, painting everything. One of the things we appreciated most is how clean everything was during the process. They were extraordinarily careful to cover and move all furniture to avoid damage and to try to paint things in a manner to not interrupt your everyday living. Lindsay Grose: We hired Handy Manny’s painting at the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed! Their pricing is very reasonable and the job was done quickly and with a thorough cleanup. Sanding plus 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of paint on a large room was done in under 5 hours. The job was done in a room where we had removed wallpaper, so there was a significant amount of sanding and the team actually was able to remove some remaining pieces of wallpaper stuck under the blinds that we couldn’t figure out how to take off - which was very much appreciated. They also offered to touch up the ceiling, though unfortunately we didn’t have the paint on hand. Chrissy, who we worked with to schedule, was incredibly responsive and was able to provide helpful recommendations. We would absolutely use them again for any future painting needs! Sีugaring House Spas&Beauty Academy: I had a washer machine in my upstairs bust a hose and cause water damage to my downstairs ceiling. As a result, I had to replace a good amount of drywall due to mold and paint the entire downstairs ceiling. Luis was very responsive and easy to work with on the phone, and quoted me a good price. His team was able to come out only a few days after I called. They got the job done in one day, repairing some other worn drywall patches in my ceiling while they were at it. Both the drywall repair and painting were of absolutely excellent quality. They were very careful with all my furniture to protect it as well, and left me with no clean up to do after them. Mo Earley: I highly recommend using Liberty Painting. Luis was extremely responsive and communicative from the first moment I reached out for a quote. He provided reasonable and competitive estimates for my indoor painting job, patiently answered my questions, and met all of my specific painting requests. He also was very accommodating to my schedule, showing up very early the morning of painting so I could meet with the crew before I had to go to work and notified me when the job was done so I could come and see it. Sarah Williams: Mike has worked on many projects for me over the years, including lots of painting, dry-walling, historic restoration (transoms, pocket doors, wood detailing), wood fence repair, installing floor tile, plaster repair, and many other odds and ends. He always approaches his work with an eye for detail, and the end result looks great. One note is that, while I would call Mike for any project, I recommend him particularly for historic restoration. I first met Mike because multiple other repairmen told me that could not fix my jammed, hundred-year-old sliding pocket doors without opening up the walls. Mike could, and it was beautiful!

Ramona Killings: Ken and his crew were outstanding! Ken responded quickly and come out to provide me with a quote the painting of the exterior of my home. His estimate was fair and they were able to start the job the same week. Andres was the point man in charge, and he gave me constant updates about the progress and also when we would need to unlock the windows and doors. The first day was all about power wash cleaning the wood on the outside. Once that was done they were able to complete the actual paint working just 3 days. I was impressed and I appreciate their hard work!

My home in McLean needed a complete exterior trim painting (3-story brick house with extensive trim and some siding)12 years after original construction and painting. (Touchup only had been done prior). Ken gave us an estimate with a more than fair price. After positive reference checks we gave him the job which he decided to do personally. It stretched out over three weeks with some weather delays, but mostly because Ken was meticulous. He first removed the screens power washed the entire house, then did a full two coats with great attention to detail. He power washed the screens and reinstalled them. I contacted him and in his quiet, humble way, his team got it all taken care of on a great schedule and for a super competitive price. It looks incredible. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t have quality work at a reasonable cost in a reasonable time frame - it’s just not true because these guys did it and were friendly, patient, and flexible while they did it. I highly recommend DaVinci’s!!
Marcin Lira: We had purchased a new home in South Arlington a few weeks ago, and the place needed some serious rennovation work. I called these guys because they specialize in both drywall and painting. We had installed new track lighting in several of the ceilings, so there were a lot of holes that needed to be fixed and painted. We also needed to repaint most of the walls. Ken was able to come out right away to give us ab estimate, and he also helped us pick out colors. We hired this company because it was apparent that they had more experience than the other companies we spoke to. They were also able to begin the job in a matter of days, which was important because we had new hardwood floors installed soon after they were finished. Ken walked thru the job at the very end, and there were only a few minor touch-ups that they addressed the same day. Their drywall work was flawless, and the new colors look great!

They take excellent care of our home, covering our floors completely to protect them, and doing careful and detailed prep work to ensure a smooth finish. My walls look like velvet; the trim has the perfect glow. They tout their attention to detail with prep work, and they really deliver on that promise--very important on a mid-1800s home. Cristina (the owner) and Edwin (the foreman) were communicative and on time, the project was on budget, and the finished product is top notch. We had multiple bids for the work, and while you will pay a bit of a premium over some other companies (to be fair they also were not the high bid), the quality of work and materials used makes Winkler a great value. Richard and his team did a phenomenal job! They took care to explain the process they would utilize and used the best quality products, including a special primer for the brick. And they are true professionals - paying careful detail from start to clean-up. Our home was completely transformed - received compliments from every neighbor - and we could not be happier! My 90-year-old house is all wood, and they spent nine days just sanding and prepping the house before they started the actual painting. Their carpenter fixed a few rotted areas efficiently and inexpensively. The painters worked tirelessly in the heat and were always careful and polite. Rich was very responsive to my concerns.
