Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

JennyLovesGogi 제럽고 (제니럽스고기): Especially, the lamb was fantastic. They provide fresh salad, salmon, soup, and fruits at the self corner. And they gave us a fantastic cheesecake for our birthday! 💯💯Thank you for nice food and service!

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Steffon Greatness: Danie Magalhes & Staff are super accommodating. They understand customer service. Daniel kept a smile on his face as if he wanted to be at work. The Service, QUICK, Efficient, & Friendly. It’s as if they want you to ask question. 🤣 The Food, Fresh, Hot, Tasty❗️I’ve been to hole in the wall Brazilian spots and I’ve been to Texas de Brazil… the food tastes better thank all of those I’ve experienced. Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. I want a case of them lol. *** Please mark this helpful if it helped you***

Naturally E: The food and service was top notch! I really enjoyed all of the selections & the quality of the meat. The market table was my favorite! Soooo many options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic! Surprisingly, they have Happy Hour all day! Our server, Ryan, was ahhhmazing! He was super cool! Really enjoyed our meal.

John Kurton: Great place for meat lovers. Great quality meats and good size cuts just kept on coming. The salad bar was great too. Some how even managed to find room for dessert.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. He also had great recommendations and accommodations. The food was all fantastic. We will be definitely coming back the next time we are in DC !!

The Grill From Ipanema: what do users think?

Fangzhi Z.: When you see a restaurant that has been around for over 20 year, you know it is good. I had never tried Brazilian food before so everything was surprisingly good to the first-timer. They have a special lunch menu if you go in the right time. And for about $26 per person, you get one appetizer, one entrée, one desert, and one drink. The fish stew and pork stew were really delicious.

Merissa Pemberton: Holy hell this place was seriously fantastic! The atmosphere was relaxing and made for a great intimate/romantic dinner. Camila made sure we had a great anniversary celebration. She recommended multiple dishes on the menu - all of which were extremely delectable. She also had assistance from another woman working at the restaurant who’s name I unfortunately do not remember but also provided incredible service. This was our first time but will not be our last. You can’t go wrong with any item and please order the passionfruit mousse with the Brazil liquor poured on top! Camila clearly deserves recognition and a raise based on our experience alone.

REL VS: Great food. Authentic Brazilian place. The Bobo de Camarao (Shrimp Stew) and the caipirinhas are the best

Nicole Farnsworth: Absolutely fantastic experience. My girlfriend is from Brazil and we both really wanted for me to try all the food she’s been telling me about for so long… this was the only restaurant whose menu she approved in the area. From the moment we arrived, the manager was super friendly and talked to us personally quite a few times, and all the service was very friendly and prompt. We both got the brunch three course meal, and every single thing we got was was FANTASTIC. My girlfriend told me it was EXTREMELY authentic and the best Brazilian food she’s had in the US. I’ve never had Brazilian food, but it was some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a while PERIOD. Cannot recommend this restaurant any more highly.

Lindsey Stiles: We had been walking by this place for years and then finally decided to try it, and we are so glad we did! Such delicious food, highly recommend!

Natasha Hansen: Delicious!! Great drinks and small plates. The spicey sausage and yuka was a must try! Friendly service and good amount of outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back!

Ron Costigan: Delicious food and drinks. Family owned business. Friendly staff

Marli Yamada DeCarvalho: Moved the Food In general! The picanha, pastel, Cheese Valls, Chicken croquetes and All deserts are very classic traditional to the Brazilian cousin! Well done

Ben Yatt: Delicious food and amazing hospitality. Hosted District Language Exchange event in the basement and the set up was perfect with tables set up for us and beautiful decorations, disco lights, and fog machine.

The Palm - Washington, D.C.: what do users think?

Cindee Sheeler: First time visiting for a friends birthday..Was absolutely amazing. Reggie and the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and very personable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Upscale dining with an old world vibe, but not stuffy and pretentious. Reggie and a staff member sang to my friend for her birthday and they were wonderful..

Ryan Arnt: Great food, eclectic atmosphere a Steakhouse that sets the bar high. If you get a chance make sure you eat here.

rob santiago: It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Kylie was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. She understood exactly how I wanted a monkey shoulder rusty nail and that nailed the night for me. I will be back.

André Hentz: The service, food, and ambiance is fantastic. We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Palm, and will dine there again for sure.

Gentle John: Good food as you would expect. Our waiter seemed a bit distracted

Etna Cavalcante: Very good food at Brazilian Place. Great place to taste several Brazilian dishes in one stop, because you have the option of paying by the weight of your food on the buffet. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food in a simple and friendly place to take your family.

Beth McCracken-Harness: Really good Brazilian food at a good price. They have a nice buffet and churrasco separate. Nice deserts to buy too. And very friendly staff. Everyone in the shop is speaking Portuguese, so it is very authentic

Cat soup: Great service, friendly staff, yummy authentic Brazilian food, good buffet, great bbq meats

Corbin Rasmussen: Simply amazing. I’m not a picky eater so I tried two of everything and it rocked. Woooooh!!! Definitely going back!!

Luciano Oliveira: The expansion made it bigger and nicer, offering happy hour music and drinks. The authentic Brazilian lunch was good (meat was too salty though). The sugar cane juice and the cheese empanada were perfectly prepared - I would come back just for them!!

Mastro's Steakhouse: what do users think?

John Darden: The steaks were cooked just right. Our waiter was polite and make our evening more enjoyable. The lobster mash potatoes had plenty of lobster meat; however, it was oily. If you like lemon drops then you should definitely try theirs because of the taste and presentation. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge. We had added crab meat to one of the steaks; however, we felt as though the restaurant could have included more meat relative to the cost of the dish but it was good. You can pay your bill using your phone. That was a nice touch (no need to wait for someone to come back to you) We plan on coming back.

Jaela Ford: This review is strictly for the waitress named Nicole. We would have given 5 stars if she did not taint our experience in the beginning. We were told by the hostess that she would be our “wonderful” waitress. She also came over to bring us menus and ask our water preference as if she was our waitress. However, for some odd reason the waiter was switched. When she was acting as our waitress, she was extremely short when answering our questions & seemed as though she did not want to be bothered. She also never introduced herself. We had to ask our new waiter for her name. There was absolutely nothing positive about her. It was as if she had pre judged us just because we were a table of young black women. Thankfully, our new waiter Phillip came over and saved the night. He was super welcoming and helpful. He answered all of our questions with a smile. His customer service was top tier! The drinks and food were also amazing! Thank you Phillip!

Mary McKay: We couldn’t have chosen a better establishment to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. The service size of everything is huge! You could definitely share every course and spend half the money…or if your like us, we enjoy the left overs the best day 😍.

Renee M: Sooo...the wagyu steak was delicious and the seared scallops were the BEST I have ever had! The sear on both dishes was perfect, the flavors were on point, and the meat melted in my mouth like butter! The drinks were CRAZY good, like strong, but made with appreciation for the full flavor profile vs just the liquor. Our server, Rice, aka the Tony Baker look a like was on it. He was very attentive and gave us great suggestions. We have 4 sides, 2 were bomb and 2 were not. The roasted brussels a sprouts and the cream spinach were tasty. The cream corn was gross and the lobster mac was under whelming. For $40 a side I would like more flavor. The atmosphere was cool. The live singer was entertaining and awkward. I would go back just to chill at the bar.

Annie's Paramount Steak House: what do users think?

Traveling Foodie: What a great place and such an inclusive environment. The steak is so good here. Staff is wonderful as well. Food-the London broil is tender and there is a gravy that is delicious. I liked the fries and how they got a bit soaked from the sauce. The Caesar salad tasted like all Caesar salads. Good standard and I was happy with it. I got it as a salad (9) and it was the perfect additional side. The outdoor seating is really nice too. This place can get crowded so try to come early.

Lou Costanza: Very friendly staff. Our server was very attentive. Shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was very good. I opted to add shrimp to it. We had a table next to the windows that overlook 17th Street which provided ample people watching opportunities between courses. Drinks were good too. Decent food at a reasonable price point.

Lani: The food was great. The service was friendly. My steak was perfectly medium and the seafood was good. The sides could have more seasoned but everything was good overall. The drinks were a bit slow but the food was out fast. Annie’s ambiance is always the best part. It’s a special part of DC history. Enjoyed my visit.

Dominic Possoch: First of: this restaurant is in an amazing neighborhood. Such good and friendly vibes, it’s uncanny. Annie’s is an awesome place. The people are kind, the service is great, the food is phenomenal and the cheesecake is to die for. Eat there now, thank me later.

Bonnie Ponce: Wonderful food and excellent and fast service. My friend got a NY Strip steak and I ordered Maryland Crab cakes. Both dishes were very good. Great and festive atmosphere. The service was wonderful.

lewis zajac: We have been patrons of Annies’s since they were located in the space that is now JR’s. It has 100% of the time been spot on. Naturally our favorite server Manno always makes sure we have a wonderful experience. I do believe we have had everything on the menu at this point and the favorite is always going to be Bull in the Pan medium rare, however the Blue Collar Burger is a close second. If you are looking for a lighter meal check out happy hour. I like the house Manhattan, but my Husband goes for the Martini. And the slider’s are great. All in all Annie’s is the place to be.

Dennis Johnson: We got back from Pittsburgh.Amnies is our mothership in DC. Best food in District and beyond.Alfred has been our loyal wait fir over 15 years. He IS Annies!

JP: The service was bomb. The people were so nice and friendly. Our waitress was the sweetest! The ribeye was very good and had great flavor! The steak salad was good. The chicken Cesar salad and the Greek chicken salad were okay.

Chima Steakhouse: what do users think?

J: One of the best Brazilian Steakhouses around. Came here with my family to celebrate my birthday and we had such a wonderful time and the dining experience was very good. So many different kinds meats brought to our table and cut right in front of you! Everything was great! Staff was friendly and made the dinner so enjoyable! Can’t wait to come back. Just wish it wasn’t so faraway, but definitely worth the drive! We made a day trip out of it and spent the afternoon at the National Zoo and then dinner here at Chima!

Fahad Aqeel: A very good Brazilian steakhouse, but honestly a bit overpriced for the quality and service. I have seen better salad bar offerings, and the service seemed to lack some speed. It was a good experience, but I can enjoy a similar meal at a slightly less price.

Joe Bullen: Only four stars because of no soap in the men’s restroom. We notified the hostess at the beginning of our meal that there was no soap in the men’s room. She enthusiastically thanked us for bringing it to our attention. When leaving, we once again found no soap in the men’s room. So, we ultimately left with dirty hands. The salad bar, while fully stocked, did not quite offer the vast array of selections that Fogo de Chao offers. Also found this establishment to be a bit pricey for what we received in return. On the bright side, the meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and served hot at the table. The tableside shrimp was a pleasant surprise. You can request your selections of meat and they will bring it to you. Be sure to request the tableside carving of pineapple. You will not be disappointed! Lastly, this place has the best fried bananas of the five different Brazilian steakhouse brands I’ve visited. They are crispy on the outside, while perfectly tender inside. Delicious!

Jaxs Mill: OMGOODNESS!!! I have made a mental note to go back EVERY year to celebrate my birthday. This is a restaurant for meat lovers, seafood lovers, AND vegetarians. Today (4/3/2022) was my first time visiting Chima Steakhouse. ALL of the food was scrumptious!! Very well seasoned and just plain ‘ole good. The ambiance and the staff were kind. The patrons are the main concern and not just the money being spent. Food items that looked funny and that you may have never heard of, was good…, made you wanting more. I got up once to go to the salad bar and that was it b/c the staff kept the meats coming to your table (lamb, salmon, shrimp, sirloin, & ribs). The staff would cut the meats. When I, can personally suck on a grilled meat (KEEP YOUR MIND CLEAN & CLEAR) Lol…without having to add some A1 sauce or Heinz 57 sauce, the meat is heavenly and to die for. I especially like the fact that we could take our time to eat because you will definitely need it. I wanted more, but gluttony is a sin. 😉. My mom and I had a drink. She had the virgin version and I had the alcoholic version (China Tropical Rio). It was sooooo good and tasty, MaDukes order 2 of them (Virgin Caipirinha). Now…, she DOES NOT do that. Her ordering 2 drinks was a first! I highly recommend this restaurant as a date night or to celebrate something or someone. Our server, Minna was “da BOMB”!!EVERYTHING he said was good, was indeed good. He did not steer us wrong. On a nice day, I would suggest having dinner, going to a movie or just hanging out at the mall, and getting a hotel room. 😁

Christy B: By far, this is the beat Brazilian restaurant I have ever been to. I travel all over the country and have had my fair share of different rodizios in different locations, but the food here was over the moon. The staff was very friendly, quick to appease, and accommodating. We would like to give a special thank you to Nico for making our anniversary dinner a special experience. The prices are comparable to chains in the area like fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil, but their selections are much larger. They have so much more than just beef and lamb to enjoy. I especially enjoyed the shrimp, jalapeño sirloin, and bacon wrapped filet mignon. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion and a wonderful experience. Thank you guys again for such a great meal. If we plan to visit Tysons corner again, we will definitely be back!

L W: Chima is the perfect place for meat lovers. All you can eat Brazilian steakhouse. There was a good selection of meat to choose from. The sides were good and the cocktails were very good.

Mohammed Kendassa: One of the best Brazilian steakhouses I’ve ever tried. The salad bar is amazing. Wide meat options

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

RCS S: The best steakhouse in DMV area. Steaks are perfectly cooked according to your preferences. The steak ribs are the bombshell, soft and tasty. Cheese balls are chewy and cheesy. Staffs are really nice and service is amazing. Fresh food. They’re attentive to your needs, and always make sure that the bar area is clean. The ambiance is excellent and classy set up. Clean and well organized. Great wine selection and reasonable prices.

Dasha Motsar: We never been to a Brazilian Steak house for dinner. Today was a special occasion to try this place for my birthday. We tried to make a reservation but it was not an option with a short notice. So we just walked in and got seated in 10m on the Thursday night before Xmas week. But there was an issue we waited like 20 min and no one checked on us since we were seated. So we had to figure out if it’s totally self served or what. So once we went to get self served over at the salad bar, which had a plenty options of food. We finally got some drinks and attention at our table. Meat service was good and you get to test different type of meats. You will get 1 card with 2 side to be serve or to skip. So if it’s on green side you will keep getting meat served at your table. So you will get a plenty of meat served. At the end our server realized that we were not happy with service and gave us a dessert as complementary also as it was my bday. Next time I would prefer to go for a quiet and more special place for my birthday. If I have to spent that much.

Eric Hall: The restaurant has an amazing selection beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. The service is top shelf as well. We go as a group of 20+ and they are always more than accommodating to us. The salad bar is an excellent assortment of salads, fruits, cheeses, and other accoutrements

Reign Noi: Amazing food and service! We came here on June 6th and had a wonderful time! Reggie was our server and he was great. Multiple people/manager checked in on us while we were there. Will be back!

Joao Freire: Both me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience eating at Fogo de Chão in Tysons. Very welcoming and modern restaurant. As a Brazilian I would highly recommend this place, definitely reminds me of Brazilian cuisine. Our server Felipe was amazing along with Peter who helped us, and also John Carlos! We can’t wait to go back soon and eat more stake and desserts!!!🌟

Sang-Jin James Lee: We did our son’s first birthday party (dohl) at Fogo Tysons, and from the very start, their event coordinator, Shannon, helped from reservation to coordination. We were charged fairly according to our headcount. I would definitely come back again for their delicious food!

Ryan K.: Great first time experience for the wife! Everyone from the host & hostess to the bussers, everyone was very friendly, courteous and helpful! Delicious food, great salad bar, good atmosphere make this place definitely a favorite now. Will be coming back soon. Also received a complimentary dessert! Thank you!!

Diamond Lyles: Dennis Servella made our experience great! While the food was delicious, the drinks he made were AMAZING! He asked us both what are taste were and fulfilled them! If you would like something strong and good, we recommend the Cherry Blossom while those who have a sweet tooth enjoy the Mai Tai. Dennis was very friendly and we would love to come again while he his working. The other staff at the restaurant were very polite as well! They constantly checked in on us and made great recommendations. I really enjoyed my time here!

Vy H.: I always enjoy Fogo because the food is so good! My first time at this location for dinner Saturday night—good thing we had reservations because it was a full house! The restaurant is nice inside. Food is always good—worth the $57.95 per person for unlimited steak and salad bar! I didn’t know they offer Shrimp Cocktail too—only knew because a server was bringing it around the tables. Cocktails experience was a bit frustrating—we ordered Vodka with soda and they kept giving us vodka with tonic—they messed up over 4 drinks and had to remake them. Not sure why it was so hard to forget tonic vs. club soda. Service was great, all the staff were friendly.

Anthony R. Bethea, MPA: If you have been looking for a great salad bar experience, look no further! I am a salad bar connoisseur and Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, Rockville has won me over! Who knew this steakhouse would offer such a buffet of culinary delectable creations? Let’s begin with the Gaucho Lunch - Market Table Only, which includes Market Table & Feijoada Bar all for $15.00. What a great price for such a satisfying salad bar lunch haven! While the food is amazing, the side of mashed potatoes, cheese bread and other treats brought to the table, added to the experience. Look at pictures. They only tell half the story! Additionally, I just visited this past weekend. Brunch was served. OMG! Brunch is priced more but worth every mouth full of made to order omelettes, waffles and parfait! Kelvin Cruz as well as the other attentive management team, congratulations on making my family and guests feel like coming back for more! See you in few weeks!!!

Bryan J: Pretty solid first experience at this location! Was able to get in without having to fight for any seating. The meat cuts were seriously perfectly cooked and the salad bar was tidy and fresh and bountiful. I always feel satisfied when I leave a Fogo.

Camille: Came here for my surprise birthday celebration. The choices of meat were awesome. Enrique was an excellent server who went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and drinks, making sure we had a great experience. He always checked on us and made us laugh. I recommend coming here and ask for Enrique.

Mae Tray: Arrive hungry because the endless amount of food will fill you up! Everything was delicious. Be aware of parking because it takes awhile unless you are one of the lucky ones that finds a spot.

Victor Martinez: Always do celebrations at Fogo but this one was top notch. The waiter Enrique was a wonderful man all around. Always kept up with my drinks and made sure I was satisfied to my hearts content. Wonderful guy lovely character. Will always look out for this man. Thank you boss Man

preservefootprints: We made reservations for lunch and chose the Churraso Experience that includes continuous tableside service of signature cuts of fire roasted meats, Market Table and Feijoada Bar. The Market Table selections wide selections of cured meats, salad and dressings options, fresh fruits and vegetables, all are paired, carved and served beautifully. Don’t forget to get something fresh from the Market Table, if you like spicy, get more of red chilies pickles and fresh vinegrette! Our favorites parts was the continuous meats selections, especially the fillet mignon tenderloin, beef ancho ribeye, picanha, medalhōes com bacon and linguica. The service was excellent, we’re all experiencing royal-like service and we’re all fell flattered. The forget restrooms check was excellent cleanliness! Next visit, hopefully we’ll enjoy the indulgent cut!

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab: what do users think?

Alexander Staufenberg: My parent took me here for their anniversary dinner. I was sort of nervous about the vegetarian options — but I was very pleased with stuffed mushrooms, the potatoes lyonnaise and the steamed asparagus. The portions are very generous. After hearing we were celebrating an anniversary the house gave us a complimentary brownie with ice cream and whipped cream. It was divine.

Konstantin: Great restaurant. Atmosphere is nice, staff is friendly and food is really good. Oysters were fresh and fried chicken was simply delicious. This place is very popular so reservation is recommended there.

Swastika Nohara: The best stone crab there is! My favorite was crab stuffed shrimp because it was creamy and delicious! Perfectly seasoned and crunchy at the same time. Creamed spinach and broccolini was also nice. We spent 156 USD for those meals as seen on my photos.

Maryam Sherbaf: We went to Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone crab for our anniversary. The service is excellent, atmosphere is nice , the restaurant is pretty packed. The food is good but it’s a bit overrated and overpriced.

Allison Williams: Wow this place is gorgeous, really nice ambiance, I want to start there. The food is delicious and fresh as well. It is pricey so if your going and you have a party of more than 2, expected to spend like 100$ a person. The drinks were good but not strong enough for me. It was my birthday and my first time there and I enjoyed every moment.

Melissa Flaminio: Our waiter Jeffrey was fantastic. We were looking for a good seafood spot close to our hotel that we could celebrate my recent graduation and it totally hit the spot. Got the seafood pasta and the crab was buttery with citrus, and the little slices of asparagus was top notch. Loved it and definitely worth the trip

BLT Steak D.C.: what do users think?

Jennifer Baxter: Everything from ambiance, service and food - all exquisite. The filet mignon,(not in the pic) melts in the mouth. It was a pleasurable dining experience that we had. We will definitely be back.

jasprit Singh: Hi guys. Just tried BLT steak house for a formal business dinner. The restaurant was quiet impressive. Staff was friendly. Ambiance was good. There food was very good and they serve a very nice table bread too. Prices were in the higher range as expected from at a good steakhouse. The only reason they will not get a 5 Star rating is because they were not carrying any Single Malt whiskey above 12 years, generally a 18 year single malt is expected at a high end restaurant. The several round of alcohol that were ordered to the table were messed up and sent back twice. On the whole a great experience and if you are willing to spend top dollars for a good steak I would recommend you try it out.

Ed Weaver: Great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional staff. I would have given this 5 stars, but my aged bone in ribeye was a bit dry and over charred for my taste.

Domenick Grieshaber: Everything was great from start to finish. Service was second to none. More importantly, It’s not just about eating it’s about your dining experience. Marco and his staff made us feel like family. They anticipated our every need. It’s hard to get good service these days, Marco and his staff were on point!

J Mac: The Yorkshire Pudding and Rack of Lamb were FABULOUS. Those foods paired with the locally bewed Hazy IPA made for a marvelous combination that I will certainly recommend and enjoy again. The service was outstanding, even in the face of a crowded "special event".

Jillian Woods: My friend and I just ate here with her 6 month old in tow and we could not have had better, friendlier service. Lajuan was our server and he went above and beyond, catering to our needs before we even had to ask. Thank you BLT for an outstanding experience!

Swastika Nohara: Great fillet mignon center steak! Awesome oyster, so fresh and I particularly love the sour red sauce that comes with it. I think it is tomato based. We asked for medium for the new york stripe but it was a bit too dry. Asparagus was splendid, perfectly cooked. Atmosphere was nice too.

Michael Garcia: I decided to try CPSH and to my delight it was amazing! The staff truly make the experience memorable. You must try their trio crème brûlée ExceptionalOhhhhhh and the French onion soup…… on point

Adrian Nagle: Excellent meal, excellent service, and friendly staff. My party visited Charlie Palmer Steakhouse in D.C. as a celebration during our trip and late birthday for my daughter since missing it last year during covid. Being visitors to D.C., we were not sure what to expect or where to go for a celebration dinner. We were treated very well with friendly staff. Our waiter was patient with us to help us with the menu and style of service Charlie Palmer provides. We all ordered steaks which were cooked to order with several sides we all shared. Desserts were awesome and were a nice unsual splurge for us. Overall, we had an excellent time and really felt great after our dinner. To top off our evening, we were treated to a special location to view the Capitol and Mall. We left the restaurant impressed and very happy we visited. We highly recommend Charlie Palmer Steakhouse in D.C.

Trevor John: Very non-assuming venue within a minutes walk of the Capital. Good food vibes and aperitif menu. Glad I stopped in and had dinner.

Ryan Rhodes: Classic steakhouse; menu is small, but everything is delicious. The service could be more attentive - they may be short staffed due to the pandemic. The burger and steak are good portion sizes for lunch.

Robert F Jr.: Amazing food and service. Excellent atmosphere. Definitely will return

Laura Molinares: One of my favorite spots in DC! The team at Charlie Palmer is always so welcoming. The manager, Mike, is always friendly and accommodating with reservations and private events. The team at the bar is so professional and kind, I can always count on Lamar to create amazing drinks and he always has incredible new suggestions. Danny, Lewis and Alfredo are always at the bar with a warm smile and providing exceptional customer service. The waiters/waitresses and hostesses are always on top of their game too! There are many restaurants in the DMV, but Charlie Palmer has a was of making you feel at home while also providing an exceptional dining experience with delicious foods and drinks and the best customer service. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Deborah Whaley: Enjoyed my birthday dinner, food is awesome, waiters waitresses and servers were all very polite and attentive. Service was excellent!!

Texas de Brazil: what do users think?

Ethio Jember: Decent place for an ‘all you can eat’ steakhouse. The place is neat and they have a wide selection on the self-serve vegetable section. I loved the smoked Salmon in the vegetable section. The big flowers in the middle isle are so amazing. Waiters are so great as well. It is worth going to this place.

Kemal Piskin: Very nice and friendly restaurant that offers Brazilian style cuisine. Gauchos are very fast to walk through and rotate so take your time to savor all the varieties as you will not miss out on your favorite meats. You could say it’s pricy but considering it’s all you can eat of prime meat cuts, it’s actually fairly priced. You won’t have room for dessert.

Rojina Al: One of the best. Food is great, salad bar is awesome, and meat is the yummiest. However, the best service and most friendly staff. They care so much to provide the best service. Eat as much as you can and enjoy it. Price is 52 for adults , which is $7 cheaper than Fogo de Chao, and kids less than 6 eat for $5 children 6-12 eat for half the price

Ceci Morera: If you like a meat buffet this is the place, highly recommended. Side salads and all the meat you want, be sure to try the campirina, the wines and the desserts. Excellent attention, very friendly staff and attentive to what you need. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or simply give yourself a taste alone or accompanied you will not leave disappointed.

Blue Girl: I’ve been here a couple of times and we have been happy with our dining experiences. Meats were on point when we were there, no dry meats and side dishes were delicious. We brought our guests here, it was their first time, During our dessert time, the coffee brought to us were slightly cold, brought it to the waiters attention, and the waiter quickly took care of it and brought us freshly brewed ones which were perfect pairing for our yummy desserts. No dining experience will always be perfect but when the staff is quick to correct the issues, it makes a customer happy again. I really appreciate it when an establishments prioritized Customer Service. So thank you. Highly recommend dining out at this place.

J.: Once again, what a fantastic dinner by the folks at Texas de Brazil in Fair Oaks. We visited on our anniversary and the meal was simply amazing! From the moment we entered the doors our host was on top of his game and catered to our every need. He began with an awesome bottle of wine at a discounted price point and it kicked the night off properly. We particularly love the Picana (sirloin steak) and the salad bar is as fresh as can be. If you stop in, recommend making a reservation first as this restaurant is packed and very popular. We love this place and will continue visiting on for all our future anniversaries or other special occasions.

Um Tareq Takieddin: I love this place. It was for my birthday. You must try one of the lemonade they make. We got the all you can eat salad bar and the meats. Everything was perfect. The lobster bisque is very well made, the cheese bread was on point, the leg of lamb, lamb chops, and beef was all well woth it. You also must try a slice of chocolate cake, yum 😋, pair it with coffee. I should have taken more photos but was enjoying the company and the moment. The staff was very polite, professional, and helpful, my water cup never went dry.

RCS S: An authentic Brazilian steakhouse. Ambiance is perfect. Lots of meat choices . The cheese bread are bomb, soft & cheesy. If you plan to visit them make sure to call and make reservations ahead of time. 15 to 45 or an hour or so is the waiting time. If you want exclusive deals make sure to join their E Club. You’ll get discount coupon on birthdays and anniversaries.

Desirea Conner: The atmosphere was amazing ! The beats were cooked to perfection. The salad bar had nice salads and side selections. Our server was super sweet and we had a great time !

Caz Bitz: Never fails to impress me. This place is great for any type of social gatherings. Never seen staff working so hard. Always busy, if they are not serving, they are cleaning or resetting tables, ensuring floors are spotless and back to being attentive to customers. Carlos was our server. We made a point of finding out when he worked as he was so professional, engaging, attentive but not overly so. Great experience. Food was great. Salad bar is above and beyond the normal lettuce and tomato. Food in abundance. Honestly, you you ever leave this place hungry, something has gone drastically wrong. Not the run of the mill cheapo place to eat but you really get what you pay for. Fantastic experience. If you want a quiet romantic intimate meal for two, forget the quiet bit 🤪🤪🤪. Kids are made welcome and there is every type of food for everyone. If after all of the salad bar and the endless supply of meat (if you don’t turn card from green to red) it just keeps coming. Try it, you will love it and a well deserved 5/5 stars. Ten if I could. Love it 😍

The Prime Rib: what do users think?

Arlan Bryant: This place is amazing! This was the first time my wife and I have went here. It was truly a memorable fine dining experience, for our anniversary. The ambiance of the restaurant was classy and comfortable. Plus the touch of having a piano and piano player, playing music throughout the evening was nice. Our server, Roberto, was excellent! Then there is the food; amazing! Literally, every item we ordered was prepared perfectly, and they had a nice wine menu. To top things off they have us an delicious creme brulee to share for our anniversary. We both agree that it was a great experience and we will definitely return.

NatFan: Pretty good steak. Not the best but solid. Had the 21 ounce rib eye with imperial crab and broccoli with a bottle of Justin. Justin is highly recommended. They were all pretty good. Moved to the bar to be closer to the pianist. Late Bday outing with friend.

Isa Alvarez: Lobster Santiago was tasty. Wonderful atmosphere with live music, a piano and bass. Men are required to wear a suit jacket throughout dinner.

John Barnhart: Birthday dinner for my brother. Excellent service, excellent food. Guys must wear a jacket but they have some if you forget yours so no worries! I had the rack of lamb which was awesome

Harvest Tide Steakhouse - Capitol Hill, Washington DC: what do users think?

Ryan Rhodes: A charming farm to table style steakhouse on Capital Hill. The steaks are mostly dry aged and prime choice meats only. They offer a 49 oz Tomahawk, which was amazing. Protip: They have private rooms upstairs if you are traveling on business or with a large group. One of the rooms has a window to the kitchen, or chefs table.

Lee McCaleb: Amazing addition to Eastern Market Capitol Hill. Dry aged steaks, craft cocktails, great seafood and the most amazing Smith Island Cake for desert. Harvest Tide has great service, wonderful food and service. We will be back.

Matt Caplan: I had an amazing experience! The aged ribeye was superb. One of the best steaks I’ve had in quite some time. My girlfriends sirloin was great as well and she loved it. The cocktails were super generously sized. Tony, our waiter and bartender (I believe), truly made the experience wonderful. He was attentive, fun, and informative. I hope we get him again when we come back!!

Micah Thomas: OMG cannot say better things about the food, my steak was so tender I cut it with the butter knife… And the cheesecake…. Cannot be happier!

Beefsteak: what do users think?

Dewita Soeharjono: This is not an exclusive vegetarian place. Instead those who eats meat can eat a combo of piles up of veggies with egg or fish or even chicken sausage. I ordered Tuna Up today. It has raw veg, cooked veg, a not of tuna and poached egg. Eat something different today. Love it! And also love chef Jose Andres with all his humanitarian work

Johan Karlsteen: Fantastic and healthy food! Not very often I put those two words in the same sentence but it happened at Beefsteak. Cool concept where they boil your vegetables and add protein, rice/noodles and sauce. Kombucha on tap was great too!

Sisi Koleva (siscenceto): Delicious and affordable! My friend and I had the lentil curry and it was delicious! She added mozzarella and I added seaweed so it was a bit of a fusion (confusion) meal, but it’s great to be able to add and remove things freely. I am definitely going back!

Nicole Coomber: I was happy to discover a Beefsteak in Foggy Bottom. The restaurant combines eating healthy & decadence with luxurious vegetable ingredients, and amazing extras like salt-cured salmon and poached egg. I also love the juice blends, and they now have craft kombucha. It’s more than just salad, too, since you can get your veggies steamed in a bowl.

Chris Smith: Man this place is amazing. A vegetarians dream place. You can build your own bowl or get some of the pictured "burgers". Tons of flavor and very affordable. The house made juice is also amazing.

Suji Mao: This is not your typical vegetarian restaurant. They actually have flavorful food that is healthy too. I had the squash bowl with everything on it that you normally get. If you want you can customize your dish to your liking.

Richa Bhatt: This place is so good. I have never eaten in the location before, I normally grab take out and take it back to work but I have ordered the Faux Joe (not pictured) and The Goat. Both are so good. Both of these dishes were so fresh and delicious and the price is so reasonable. Additionally, the folks that work here are so nice as well. I really love this place.

MiMo OmEarth: Their Eden and Mushroom bowls are delicious... I love this spot! 🤩💗🧘🏿

BOURBON STEAK: what do users think?

S. Renee Weaks: Great service from Aaron and the entire waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The steak, duck fries and Cocktails were superb; the shrimp cocktail was good, but a bit overcooked prior to chilling. I would pass on the Mac and cheese. I would definitely return in the future for other menu options and the ambiance.

Tamara Lee: My brother celebrated his birthday at Bourbon Steak. With the help of Jose and Dillon I was able to coordinate a bourbon flight experience for him to enjoy. I highly recommend this establishment. With Dillon and Jose’s help you will not be disappointed with the experience and service you will receive at Bourbon Steak.

Mark Blanchard: Good steaks and great service. Fries were pretty average at best. Our steak knives were dull as butter knives. We asked for replacements, and we got equally dull knives. Good thing the steaks are tender, but not a good steaks for a steakhouse not to invest in new knives or at least sharpen them. Dessert was amazing!

R W: One of the best brunches in town. Professional and attentive service. If you can think it, they will prepare it.

Moises Romero: I brought my wife for her birthday. Truly a lovely evening. There was an unforeseeable incident that required a lot of attention from the staff that held our dinner back a bit. Even though it’s understandable to focus on someone’s health aside from serving a table, the staff took responsibility for the delay on our food and service and offered a great amount of remedy. We were surprised with complimentary appetizers and enjoyed every bite. The steak was amazing, we both had the Australian Ribeye. We left stuffed and happy. A great restaurant with extremely attentive and helpful staff. The cocktails were also great. I had two of the autumn cocktails and they were both great. We will definitely return

Jassett M: I have only gone to Bourbon Steak for their cocktails, but never for food. So this was a first for me and it did not disappoint. I had brunch with a few of my friends and everything on the menu sounded delicious. I decided to order the King Crab Benedict and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the burger and it was very hard not to order that for myself because I heard so much about in the past. But that gives me another reason to return. Even the side dishes were great, truffle macaroni & cheese, sauteed kale & broccolini. Finally, we decided to share the desserts..the Brioche Doughnut & Pecan Sticky Bun and they were both out of this world. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience ...from the ambience, the wait staff & the food. 5 stars.

Ocean Prime: what do users think?

Solana Cox: We celebrated our 5 year anniversary here all the way from Pittsburgh and let me tell you, Ocean Prime did not disappoint. It was well worth the start of our road trip to DC. Everyone who came to our table went above and beyond. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and it was scrumptious! When I told the waiter that it was our anniversary, they made sure it was going to be a night to remember. Highly recommend this place.

Syerra Carigo: We visited for happy hour on Wednesday and it wasn’t too crowded. I tried their delicious steak tartare and my husband had their oysters. I also tried their “berries and bubbles” cocktail which comes with dry ice, Belvedere citrus vodka, marinated berries, house made sour, and Chandon Brut. This drink was so sweet and very cute! The staff were all friendly, and all the bartenders attended to you whether they were serving you or not. We had a very nice time. I’m looking forward to returning for dinner.

Danovel Tolli: This was my first time Dining at Ocean Prime. Taking my lady out for her birthday. It was nothing more than a top tier experience. The waiter Briyan was awesome..extremely friendly, warm, and you just knew he enjoyed serving us and you felt it everytime he visited the table. The first thing I tasted was the Surf and Turf Scallop, and prime rib..Amazingly tender and full of flavor. Nothing more than immaculate. The Lamb Chops were the best I have ever tasted from anywhere. Prepare to be here for a while as they do take their time to give you an experience. I will be going back for the Private dining experience for sure.

chris chadwick: Oceans Prime was truly a great experience. The service was friendly and on top of everything very impressed for a busy place. The food was amazing. I had a 10 filet cooked medium rare minus....tender, juice and delicious. The peanut butter chocolate cake thing out of this world! Great food and wine excellent service.

Love Chan: Back at it AGAIN…my Fav❣️😋

Francina Thomas: My family made reservations at this Restaurant for my birthday celebration. I loved it, felt like a Queen for the evening. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The check in crew were friendly and professional- found our reservations and table was ready on the spot. Our waiter Alexander was superb !! He was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu, wine, sprits and dessert. His recommendations were excellent. He truly made my birthday special by treating me to my dessert. How sweet. The Food was Delicious 😋 😍!!! The prices were upscale but so was the service and food- definitely worth it. The portions were large. The variety was awesome. We tried a bottle of Resling wine from a California venue which was light, fruity and semi sweet - just like i like it. There were 6 of us coupled off with a meal price around $150.00 to $250.00 per couple. I will definitely keep this place in mind for a return visit.

Ron Paige: Amazing Experience. Sofia was an amazing Server. Professionalism personified❤ Dining Manager Ebony was amazing and checked on us along with the Sou Chef. It lives up to the hype. BEST Calamari EVER! Platter Up the snapper with a lobster tail and filet mignon. Thank me later.❤💯 The East Coast Oysters are Amazing. Thank you. Worth every dollar spent and wonder staff. THANK YOU for a great BDAY and sublime Dining experience.

Monica R S: Berries and Bubbles cocktail was soooo good and it was fun to watch the bubbles. The Prime Roll was delicious, good texture, fish was fresh. The Lobster Tails were perfectly cooked and it’s a big portion! The carrot cake is good but it’s a tad too sweet for my taste, it is a big portion so it’s good to share. Our server Derek was very attentive and friendly.

St. Anselm: what do users think?

Deborah Altman: A wonderful place for a special occasion. Outdoor patio dining added to the ambiance. Food, wine and service were all wonderful. Did an excellent job with gluten and dairy free. Server asked if cross contamination was an issue. I greatly appreciated that. We will be back!

andrew: Super cute place, spacious and fun! Had dinner here with some friends on a Friday night. We made reservations for 630pm and was seated inside at one of their booths. We started off with biscuits, cooked Oysters, deviled eggs, and giant prawn as our appetizers. The biscuits are a must order item. They’re fresh and warm, and comes with a side of polenta spread. Every bite melts in your mouth. The Oysters were good and had a nice flavor. You couldn’t “taste” the sea. Both the prawn and deviled eggs were pretty standard. A bit boring and standard in taste. I had the steak as my main course, along with a side of broccoli and baked potatoes. Steak was medium and full of flavor in every bite. The broccoli was just okay, and worked as a side going along with something that had more flavor. The baked potatoes are much like fries, seasoned with herbs. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but i still recommend making a reservation. They have some great large, private booth areas outside to accommodate guests during the pandemic. I sure hope they get to keep it all up for a while. Parking can be tough in the area on busy nights and weekends, but the Union Market parking lot should work. Service was fast and friendly.

Bryan Webb: Delicious food in a relaxing yet lively atmosphere. Everything we had was perfectly prepared and highlighted the protein while pairing it with unique sauces. Excellent local beer selection.

Melanie Smith: Consistently great food. We love bringing friends from out of town because we always know the food will be outstanding! Everything on the menu is a home run… but we especially love: Ax Handle steak, salmon collar, the biscuits and pimento cheese, and pan fried potatoes. Reservations highly recommended- especially on weekends. They also have outdoor seating.

Bobbi DeAnda: Oh my gosh. So glad we went to this place! Such a cool vibe. We were able to get in with no reservation - sitting at the chefs counter - which totally worked for us. Our server was very attentive and the service was very quick! The food…OH MY GOSH! That ribeye is up there with one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Such a fun date night. We will be back! Also, each plate is unique and you get a postcard with the check!

ESB NYC: Cool place in Union Market. Kind of an old school steak house with a modern vibe. Excellent service. I had the draft Vieux Carré cocktail, $14, pretty tasty. We shared the blue crab deviled eggs ($14) and the oyster appetizer at $19 for 6 cooked oysters. My husband had the butcher steak which was $34 and flavorful but pretty tough. I had the rockfish entree (also $34), nice piece of fish in a mussel cream sauce. A little fishy for my taste (freshwater fish) from the Potomac, lol?! We shared the fried mashed potatoes and creamed spinach sides. We shared the ice cream cake dessert, I think it was $11. Tasty but just a little rich after a fairly heavy meal. All in all, expensive but pretty good.
