Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Vy H.: LOVE THIS PLACE!! My work company had our holiday lunch gathering here recently! The restaurant has a nice and fancy vibe, and surprisingly was packed for a weekday lunch. Their salad bar is awesome—with a huge selection of choices. Their meats (that come around your table) is so delicious and well flavored. In addition, staff is very friendly and attentive. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have the chocolate cake as a dessert option for our meal, but the cheesecake with strawberry sauce was really good!

Kevin Amaya: Went here for a company brunch and was blown away! If excellent service, high quality food and drinks in a comfortable and relaxing setting then this place should be in your top places to visit. You won't be disappointed with the selection of different foods to choose from.

Joseph Middleton: Went for my first time ever at Fogo with my siblings to celebrate the end of a trip together. This dinner was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our waiter as well as the entire waitstaff and all of the gaucho chefs were wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional and made the experience all that much more enjoyable. The selection of meats rotated through regularly and the market table had a great selection of fruit, salads, and other delicious food. The side dishes we were brought were delicious. We were celebrating my sister's graduation and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. I cannot speak highly enough of this dinner. It's truly an excellent experience and was a memorable one for my siblings and I.

JennyLovesGogi 제럽고 (제니럽스고기): Especially, the lamb was fantastic. They provide fresh salad, salmon, soup, and fruits at the self corner. And they gave us a fantastic cheesecake for our birthday! 💯💯Thank you for nice food and service!

Morgan: Fantastic service. The employees here really work well as a team. The food is always great. I took my boyfriend here when we first started dating and he loved it. Took him again along with my grandparents, who were in town visiting… I didn’t tell our server, but we were also celebrating my grandma being cancer-free. Our server went out of his way to give my grandma a free dessert that said “Welcome to DC” (see picture)… That was really nice. Thanks for many great experiences.

Steffon Greatness: Danie Magalhes & Staff are super accommodating. They understand customer service. Daniel kept a smile on his face as if he wanted to be at work. The Service, QUICK, Efficient, & Friendly. It’s as if they want you to ask question. 🤣 The Food, Fresh, Hot, Tasty❗️I’ve been to hole in the wall Brazilian spots and I’ve been to Texas de Brazil… the food tastes better thank all of those I’ve experienced. Pro Tip, They get busy quick, they have a full dining area. Tables fit 2, 4 & round tables that must fit about 8. They fill up pretty quick. (And this was a Thursday) Try the bottom steak & lamb. It’s the best. I wasn’t a fan of the beer marinated chicken however it wasn’t bad. Last thing get the soda in the picture it’s AMAZING. I want a case of them lol. *** Please mark this helpful if it helped you***

Naturally E: The food and service was top notch! I really enjoyed all of the selections & the quality of the meat. The market table was my favorite! Soooo many options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic! Surprisingly, they have Happy Hour all day! Our server, Ryan, was ahhhmazing! He was super cool! Really enjoyed our meal.

John Kurton: Great place for meat lovers. Great quality meats and good size cuts just kept on coming. The salad bar was great too. Some how even managed to find room for dessert.
Response: So happy to hear this, John! Thank you very much for the support - we can't wait to serve you again.

Jesse Campo: I don't know why I'd never been here before, but I'll certainly be back. Got super lucky with a reservation being available last minute. I'd recommend getting a reservation if you're coming for dinner, especially on a weekend. We still ended up waiting about 15 mins for our table, but it was well worth it. The food is amazing, and it's pretty much all you can eat high quality meats and salad bar (with delicious sides)! I didn't expect there to be so many different meats. I was seriously impressed with it all. It came to about $80 per person after tip - not cheap, but definitely worth it. If you haven't been here and you're looking for an awesome meal, get a reservation and go! Make sure you're hungry and don't waste *too* much time at the salad bar - ha.

Autumn Bishop: We went for the first time for my birthday, everything was amazing. Our server Denzel was overall a 10/10 super attentive even though it was crazy busy he made sure our needs were met and even offered to have specific meats brought to us if we hadn’t tried them yet. He also had great recommendations and accommodations. The food was all fantastic. We will be definitely coming back the next time we are in DC !!

The Grill From Ipanema: what do users think?

Fangzhi Z.: When you see a restaurant that has been around for over 20 year, you know it is good. I had never tried Brazilian food before so everything was surprisingly good to the first-timer. They have a special lunch menu if you go in the right time. And for about $26 per person, you get one appetizer, one entrée, one desert, and one drink. The fish stew and pork stew were really delicious.

Merissa Pemberton: Holy hell this place was seriously fantastic! The atmosphere was relaxing and made for a great intimate/romantic dinner. Camila made sure we had a great anniversary celebration. She recommended multiple dishes on the menu - all of which were extremely delectable. She also had assistance from another woman working at the restaurant who’s name I unfortunately do not remember but also provided incredible service. This was our first time but will not be our last. You can’t go wrong with any item and please order the passionfruit mousse with the Brazil liquor poured on top! Camila clearly deserves recognition and a raise based on our experience alone.

Tee: I ordered cheese balls for appiters; it wasn't the best; however, the rest of my food was delicious. There was a very nice and friendly lady there (not sure if she's the owner or manager). she made the experience much better.

REL VS: Great food. Authentic Brazilian place. The Bobo de Camarao (Shrimp Stew) and the caipirinhas are the best

Nicole Farnsworth: Absolutely fantastic experience. My girlfriend is from Brazil and we both really wanted for me to try all the food she’s been telling me about for so long… this was the only restaurant whose menu she approved in the area. From the moment we arrived, the manager was super friendly and talked to us personally quite a few times, and all the service was very friendly and prompt. We both got the brunch three course meal, and every single thing we got was was FANTASTIC. My girlfriend told me it was EXTREMELY authentic and the best Brazilian food she’s had in the US. I’ve never had Brazilian food, but it was some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a while PERIOD. Cannot recommend this restaurant any more highly.

Lindsey Stiles: We had been walking by this place for years and then finally decided to try it, and we are so glad we did! Such delicious food, highly recommend!

Natasha Hansen: Delicious!! Great drinks and small plates. The spicey sausage and yuka was a must try! Friendly service and good amount of outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back!

Ron Costigan: Delicious food and drinks. Family owned business. Friendly staff

J Riva: My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place out! As we entered a waiter was walking by almost wanting to ignore me until I said “Hello! I have a reservation!” He gave me a dirty look and saw my reservation on his tablet and then looked at us and said “are you Brazilian?” I thought it was weird but I said “No were Hispanic” then he proceeded to talk to us in Spanish which we didn’t mind. The interaction was just weird. The SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. We waited a long time just to get our drinks. We didn’t actually have a waitress it was a different person every time that came to our table. We were asked if we were Brazilian 2 more times after that. The food was mediocre and I regret spending my money and time at this place. Save yourself and go somewhere else

Philip Wilson: I've lived in this neighborhood for 6 years and walked past this place a billion times - and what a jewel I was missing. I stopped by on a whim with a friend at the end of the summer for a steak and salad, which immediately made me a repeat customer. More recently, a friend and I visited for indoor dining. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The potato soup is an excellent choice, as is the BIG SALAD. They only have the one kind of dressing, but it's great.

Copacabana Catering & Cafe: what do users think?

J Foodgeek: Four Stars based on fried tilapia, white rice, and black beans. The fish was fresh. The rice with little dry but it was the end of the day, so I won't fault them on that. I do plan on going back and trying something else. I do think it's weird that the prices and the restaurant are not the same as the prices on the website. If you mention it to them, they tell you to scan something on your phone, but that's still not going to fix the prices on their website. Also they must not have enough menus since when somebody walks in and ask for one, they take it from a seated table. I saw them do it twice.

Favorite Financial: Feels like i’m in São Paulo, Brazil when I eat here! You have to try the picanha & fried yucca dish prepared by Brazilian Chef Francisco! Instagram @taxes

William Harris: A taste of authentic Brazilian cuisine and hospitality right in Adam's Morgan! Everything on the menu is a must try from their appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts! It's normal for people to only try what they're familiar with but it is highly reccomended to be as adventurous as the Brazilian spirit and enjoy a taste of everything! You will not be disappointed with whatever you try. This has quickly become my favorite Brazilian good location!

Marli Yamada DeCarvalho: Moved the Food In general! The picanha, pastel, Cheese Valls, Chicken croquetes and All deserts are very classic traditional to the Brazilian cousin! Well done
Response: Thanks for you feedback it’s really important to us!

J C: After reading all the good recommendations I decided to show our “authentic” Brazilian food to my partner. It was a disaster since we arrived. Not flavor at all in the coxinhas, Pastel or bolinho de bacalhau, and same for the main dishes , Just oil flavor. The fried fish dish and the feijoada was even worse and cold, but we were the only ones in the restaurant, is not that they were busy busy. As u can see for yourself, the food looks pretty suspicious. I got very disappointed and frustrated specially because my partner and I got an stomachache right after. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place, but I hope it was just a bad day and that they get better, because we don’t have anything good to say about his place as of right now.

Ben Yatt: Delicious food and amazing hospitality. Hosted District Language Exchange event in the basement and the set up was perfect with tables set up for us and beautiful decorations, disco lights, and fog machine.

john t: Great good, Great service. Pastries that are to die for !!!

Gabriella Fonseca: Walked into this restaurant + all I could smell was urine. Guy was so unkempt + the place was dirty. Table had crumbs all over it. Needless to say I left moments after. Didn’t really desire to find out about the food.

Angelo Z32 Twin Turbo: Conveniently located in Kensington off of Connecticut Ave. Come here for all of your sweet Brazilian Cravings and so much more! My wife and I attended their Feijoada (Pork, Beef and Bean stew) day this last sunday and fell in love with their awesome customer service, their authentic Brazilian cuisine, great selection of sweets, pastries and treats. Pay them Visit! You won't regret it!
Response: Thank you so much! We can’t wait to serve you again!

Mae Medina: Food was ok. Service was ok. Cocktails/Drinks are gross, get a beer. The downstairs (where the comedy show is) smells like urine.

Brazilian Place: what do users think?

Vanessa Amaya: Food was so delicious! The restaurant is huge and super clean. Staff was very friendly and there's even a bar. I will definitely be back!

Etna Cavalcante: Very good food at Brazilian Place. Great place to taste several Brazilian dishes in one stop, because you have the option of paying by the weight of your food on the buffet. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food in a simple and friendly place to take your family.

Monte Mallin: We always enjoy eating here. Food is divided up into a buffet and a small barbecue. The buffet has gotten better and better with wonderful meat and fish alternatives included. The barbecue is always fresh and delicious with wonderful steaks chicken and sausage options. We are very very happy that this place is so close to us. Make sure you're hungry when you go! :-)

Jon Abulencia: Usually, I'm more of a day-off-Chinese-buffet guy. I figured I should mix things up and try this local place. By golly, I'm glad I did. There's beef at the lunch buffet that would not be out of place on a fine dining menu. Have you ever had a piece of pork so tender, you could cleanly cut it with the thin side of a fork? Even what I assume is the lasagna has a bit of unique flair to it (I can't put my finger on what it is, but it is not Nonna's recipe!) that makes it just so delectable. If you haven't stopped by here for lunch, what are you waiting for, an invite? Get in here, grab a plate, fill it to the brim, and live out your gluttonous day dreams.

Edyta Owczarek: before you go there be sure you like fatty pork, very little choice of dishes, dessert for extra charge, $ 23 per person, $ 5 dessert. not for families with young children who like American food. 2 stars because the desserts are really good

Beth McCracken-Harness: Really good Brazilian food at a good price. They have a nice buffet and churrasco separate. Nice deserts to buy too. And very friendly staff. Everyone in the shop is speaking Portuguese, so it is very authentic

Ginna Sue: I am American, but I lived in Brazil for a year and a half, more specifically in Rio Grande do Sul, where churrasco (Brazillian BBQ) is made by gauchos. I have been to several Churrascarias in the US. The meat is great, the ambiance is really nice... but, each one had a buffet that was Americanized for the most part and only American desserts. This buffet was the most authentic churrasco that I have ever had since I have been back (almost 17 years). The owner was amazing and it was so fun to practice my Portuguese, my family had such a great time and it was fun to have some of the foods I haven't had since being in Brazil. Such a good place to go, will go back when visiting MD again.

Cat soup: Great service, friendly staff, yummy authentic Brazilian food, good buffet, great bbq meats

Corbin Rasmussen: Simply amazing. I’m not a picky eater so I tried two of everything and it rocked. Woooooh!!! Definitely going back!!

Luciano Oliveira: The expansion made it bigger and nicer, offering happy hour music and drinks. The authentic Brazilian lunch was good (meat was too salty though). The sugar cane juice and the cheese empanada were perfectly prepared - I would come back just for them!!

Chima Steakhouse: what do users think?

J: One of the best Brazilian Steakhouses around. Came here with my family to celebrate my birthday and we had such a wonderful time and the dining experience was very good. So many different kinds meats brought to our table and cut right in front of you! Everything was great! Staff was friendly and made the dinner so enjoyable! Can’t wait to come back. Just wish it wasn’t so faraway, but definitely worth the drive! We made a day trip out of it and spent the afternoon at the National Zoo and then dinner here at Chima!
Response: Thanks for being a loyal guest and for your great review! We truly appreciate it. Looking forward to your next visit.

Fahad Aqeel: A very good Brazilian steakhouse, but honestly a bit overpriced for the quality and service. I have seen better salad bar offerings, and the service seemed to lack some speed. It was a good experience, but I can enjoy a similar meal at a slightly less price.
Response: Thanks for sharing your dining experience with us. I’ll make sure your comments are brought to our managers' attention. We appreciate your business and feedback.

Joe Bullen: Only four stars because of no soap in the men’s restroom. We notified the hostess at the beginning of our meal that there was no soap in the men’s room. She enthusiastically thanked us for bringing it to our attention. When leaving, we once again found no soap in the men’s room. So, we ultimately left with dirty hands. The salad bar, while fully stocked, did not quite offer the vast array of selections that Fogo de Chao offers. Also found this establishment to be a bit pricey for what we received in return. On the bright side, the meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and served hot at the table. The tableside shrimp was a pleasant surprise. You can request your selections of meat and they will bring it to you. Be sure to request the tableside carving of pineapple. You will not be disappointed! Lastly, this place has the best fried bananas of the five different Brazilian steakhouse brands I’ve visited. They are crispy on the outside, while perfectly tender inside. Delicious!
Response: Thanks for your feedback Joe. I shared your comments with our management team in Tysons Corner. We truly appreciate it.

Mark Parker: Always a nice experience in a very nice restaurant. If there any cuts of meat you are looking for that haven't made it to your table just ask and they will make it gets to you. You are not at all rushed during your experience. You can take your time and eat all you care to eat.

Jaxs Mill: OMGOODNESS!!! I have made a mental note to go back EVERY year to celebrate my birthday. This is a restaurant for meat lovers, seafood lovers, AND vegetarians. Today (4/3/2022) was my first time visiting Chima Steakhouse. ALL of the food was scrumptious!! Very well seasoned and just plain ‘ole good. The ambiance and the staff were kind. The patrons are the main concern and not just the money being spent. Food items that looked funny and that you may have never heard of, was good…, made you wanting more. I got up once to go to the salad bar and that was it b/c the staff kept the meats coming to your table (lamb, salmon, shrimp, sirloin, & ribs). The staff would cut the meats. When I, can personally suck on a grilled meat (KEEP YOUR MIND CLEAN & CLEAR) Lol…without having to add some A1 sauce or Heinz 57 sauce, the meat is heavenly and to die for. I especially like the fact that we could take our time to eat because you will definitely need it. I wanted more, but gluttony is a sin. 😉. My mom and I had a drink. She had the virgin version and I had the alcoholic version (China Tropical Rio). It was sooooo good and tasty, MaDukes order 2 of them (Virgin Caipirinha). Now…, she DOES NOT do that. Her ordering 2 drinks was a first! I highly recommend this restaurant as a date night or to celebrate something or someone. Our server, Minna was “da BOMB”!!EVERYTHING he said was good, was indeed good. He did not steer us wrong. On a nice day, I would suggest having dinner, going to a movie or just hanging out at the mall, and getting a hotel room. 😁
Response: Thank you for the excellent review. We greatly appreciate it.

Christy B: By far, this is the beat Brazilian restaurant I have ever been to. I travel all over the country and have had my fair share of different rodizios in different locations, but the food here was over the moon. The staff was very friendly, quick to appease, and accommodating. We would like to give a special thank you to Nico for making our anniversary dinner a special experience. The prices are comparable to chains in the area like fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil, but their selections are much larger. They have so much more than just beef and lamb to enjoy. I especially enjoyed the shrimp, jalapeño sirloin, and bacon wrapped filet mignon. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion and a wonderful experience. Thank you guys again for such a great meal. If we plan to visit Tysons corner again, we will definitely be back!

L W: Chima is the perfect place for meat lovers. All you can eat Brazilian steakhouse. There was a good selection of meat to choose from. The sides were good and the cocktails were very good.
Response: Thanks for the excellent review. We greatly appreciate it.

Giao L: My past experiences at this restaurant have always been exceptional. Unfortunately, today, on Mother's Day, that was not the case. They have a decent list of options on their menu, but we didn't get offered much of that. We got offered 4 items from their menu. We were seated near the back so it seemed they forgot we were even there. The meat was pretty dry as well. The waiter was nice, but we barely saw him. To top off my disappointing experience, when we received the bill, the waiter didn't hesitate to let us know that gratuity wasn't included in the bill. We had never planned not to tip. It was a poor assumption and offensive on his end. For $150 plus tips.. for 4 different kind of slices of meat, I believe this will be my last visit at this establishment.

Moorecia Moore: I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. The price point makes it a special occasion, not an average date night choice but there's so much to enjoy. The options are fresh and tasty, the atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable. I love all the hot apps they bring and the pineapple will change your life!
Response: Thanks for being a loyal guest and for your great review Moorecia! We truly appreciate it. Looking forward to your next visit.

Mohammed Kendassa: One of the best Brazilian steakhouses I’ve ever tried. The salad bar is amazing. Wide meat options

Bossa Bistro & Lounge: what do users think?

Comely Weirdo: very dark and dirty place, waited for my food for very long, but they made a cocktail for me as a compensation. glasses and plates not clen. food is very good. improve smell and cleanliness

Sam Pence: Came in for the jazz, decided to get drinks and dinner too. We chose entrees but were told that of the 7 entrees on the menu, only 1 (??) was being served that night. We decided to go with that one. 30 minutes later our waitress comes out to tell us that THAT entree is no longer being served either. Seriously? We then got tapas since by then we were super hungry. One was advertised as a "croquette" but was a simple meatball, the others were doused in salt. No chance I'll be back, but the jazz was nice.

S S: A small space with limited seating. But this club is known for the featured bands, so dancing Salsa and Bachata is what you’re going to get! There is an upstairs which opens around 12 midnight and had a pretty good female DJ which I thought was excellent! She played reggeton and a mix of other music. There is an extension to the back where there is a decent sitting area for a less than noisy experience. Let’s talk about the crowd: a mix of young and mature, mostly young hipsters. I came across several rude patrons, who apparently the phrase excuse me is unknown. The bouncer in front is nice and the bartenders were ok. There was only one who seemed to know what she was doing. $10 cover charge for a subpar experience. The crowd is the reason for -2 stars. I’ve been to better Latin clubs.

Anita Hinnerichs: A great place for authentic Brasilian cuisine, excellent live music and dancing to Latin music salsa, bachatta, merengue, samba and more. Saturday nights are my favorite, but every night has something different and full experience to tantalize all your senses.

Garner Marshall: Great spot to go to. Live music and entertainment. Friendly staff. Parking is crazy but if you're willing to drive around for a few you'll definitely find parking, there is always someone leaving. The food was pretty good, it was suggested to me by the server. I enjoyed this spot.

Disha Vyas: Great ambiance; excellent music. Must visit if you are looking for a fun night weekday or weekend while in DC. We plan to go again.

Alice Ramos: The most fun in town! Connect with your latin roots through the best music and joyful people.

amir naimi: This place has awesome live music on Saturday by the amazingly talented Jorge and his band . Small not crazy busy environment and very enjoyable .If you’re in dc it’s a must see

Carol F: Great music, delicious food, nice patrons. The only thing I don't like is the incense smell.

Rahma Hejja: Cozy place, arts all around you, great atmosphere, had delicious food (shrimp + Salad) for $24 , it was Saturday, they had live music, two bands, once finished around 8:30pm the other started around 10:40pm, Ok I am not bachata or salsa dancer, went there with no partner, but I found a space to dance and have fun with my self, as usual 😍 Ok I don’t drink so I can’t tell you about drinks there, also don’t expect a huge menu of food, what you saw in pictures here you will see around you with people if you go there.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

Kate Cole: Excellent food and service. The music was far too loud and despite asking twice (and the waiter saying he'd ask for the music to be lowered) it was too loud to talk comfortably across a two person table. But, the service and food was magnificent. The salad bar deal for $15 is more than enough for anything other than a decadent, celebratory meal. We took 2 hours for a birthday meal with the meat, salad bar, wine, and dessert. Despite the high price, it was worth it.

Vy H.: I always enjoy Fogo because the food is so good! My first time at this location for dinner Saturday night—good thing we had reservations because it was a full house! The restaurant is nice inside. Food is always good—worth the $57.95 per person for unlimited steak and salad bar! I didn’t know they offer Shrimp Cocktail too—only knew because a server was bringing it around the tables. Cocktails experience was a bit frustrating—we ordered Vodka with soda and they kept giving us vodka with tonic—they messed up over 4 drinks and had to remake them. Not sure why it was so hard to forget tonic vs. club soda. Service was great, all the staff were friendly.

Nia fire: My husband took me to eat here many times. Our recent visit was surprisingly better than normal. They were extremely busy, but as soon as I was seated our waitress , Denise appeared. She is absolutely the best waitress we have ever had. Our drinks arrived and were great. She consistently checked on our table, sending whatever we asked for to us immediately. This tiny woman worked like she was Hercules. Not only did she bus her tables but I saw her helping all the other staff. I'm surprised she had time to breath. One the managers Mr.Guillermo Ulloa was also absolutely lovely to us. The meats were coming out none stop. I didn't try everything. The selections I did have were browned , juicy and moist. It wasn't too salty or dry. The honey cheese and small cheese bread is addictive. I lost count of how much we had. I suggest you try the virgin pineapple mint lemonade as a drink. I love that stuff. We left satisfied, happy and full. We will definitely ask for Denise the next time we visit. FYI if you have room for it , get the chocolate lava cake for dessert.

Anthony R. Bethea, MPA: If you have been looking for a great salad bar experience, look no further! I am a salad bar connoisseur and Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, Rockville has won me over! Who knew this steakhouse would offer such a buffet of culinary delectable creations? Let’s begin with the Gaucho Lunch - Market Table Only, which includes Market Table & Feijoada Bar all for $15.00. What a great price for such a satisfying salad bar lunch haven! While the food is amazing, the side of mashed potatoes, cheese bread and other treats brought to the table, added to the experience. Look at pictures. They only tell half the story! Additionally, I just visited this past weekend. Brunch was served. OMG! Brunch is priced more but worth every mouth full of made to order omelettes, waffles and parfait! Kelvin Cruz as well as the other attentive management team, congratulations on making my family and guests feel like coming back for more! See you in few weeks!!!

Bryan J: Pretty solid first experience at this location! Was able to get in without having to fight for any seating. The meat cuts were seriously perfectly cooked and the salad bar was tidy and fresh and bountiful. I always feel satisfied when I leave a Fogo.

Camille: Came here for my surprise birthday celebration. The choices of meat were awesome. Enrique was an excellent server who went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and drinks, making sure we had a great experience. He always checked on us and made us laugh. I recommend coming here and ask for Enrique.

Yisela Contreras: 1. Our server was Kanika who we barely saw the entire evening. We had to call her over in hopes that she saw and heard us in order to get her attention, get plates cleared, get new silverware when the meat servers knocked them off the table, etc. She attended to us a total of 2x without us having to call out to her. 2. Every time that we asked for medium well meat we were given the bloodiest cuts. The servers assumed because they spun the knife around and cut the same meat from the other side that we wouldn’t notice it was still a raw cut. The staff needs to be retrained on their meat cuts and their etiquette. All of the stains that were on the table were from this one server who kept reaching the bloody meat over our drinks, phones, and everything else on the table. Also, there were meat servers who walked right out of the kitchen and ours and the other table right next to the loud kitchen to serve meat elsewhere then come back with slivers left - if they decided to stop at all on the way back to the kitchen. 3. There were several employees in the kitchen without masks, and we observed one wiping his nose on his sleeve before putting the speared meat into the cooker. That is when I decided to start taking photos. 🤮 4. I provided a photo of the sides you get with the $57 experience. There were 3 of us out that night and expected to share that amongst us all. So plan a pre-dinner snack accordingly if you do decide to waste your money here. - Complete and total waste of $70, just to end up going home mad and hungry. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy let alone my friends. If I could give them no stars, I would have.
Response: Yisela, we are sorry to hear that you left feeling unsatisfied with your experience. We value your feedback and would like a chance to speak with you about it in detail. Please email us at feedback@fogo.com with your contact information and availability. Thank you.

Mae Tray: Arrive hungry because the endless amount of food will fill you up! Everything was delicious. Be aware of parking because it takes awhile unless you are one of the lucky ones that finds a spot.

Victor Martinez: Always do celebrations at Fogo but this one was top notch. The waiter Enrique was a wonderful man all around. Always kept up with my drinks and made sure I was satisfied to my hearts content. Wonderful guy lovely character. Will always look out for this man. Thank you boss Man

preservefootprints: We made reservations for lunch and chose the Churraso Experience that includes continuous tableside service of signature cuts of fire roasted meats, Market Table and Feijoada Bar. The Market Table selections wide selections of cured meats, salad and dressings options, fresh fruits and vegetables, all are paired, carved and served beautifully. Don’t forget to get something fresh from the Market Table, if you like spicy, get more of red chilies pickles and fresh vinegrette! Our favorites parts was the continuous meats selections, especially the fillet mignon tenderloin, beef ancho ribeye, picanha, medalhōes com bacon and linguica. The service was excellent, we’re all experiencing royal-like service and we’re all fell flattered. The forget restrooms check was excellent cleanliness! Next visit, hopefully we’ll enjoy the indulgent cut!

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse: what do users think?

RCS S: The best steakhouse in DMV area. Steaks are perfectly cooked according to your preferences. The steak ribs are the bombshell, soft and tasty. Cheese balls are chewy and cheesy. Staffs are really nice and service is amazing. Fresh food. They’re attentive to your needs, and always make sure that the bar area is clean. The ambiance is excellent and classy set up. Clean and well organized. Great wine selection and reasonable prices.

Klara Cheung: Not my first time at this location bit one of the more negative experiences I've had. There is a parking garage right next to fogo and very is $5 which is worth the price. We came for lunch on a Saturday but it seemed as if they were perhaps a tad understaffed. We were sat in a corner table towards the back so we actually didn't get much traffic from the different types of meats. We were offered sirloin quite a bit but when we tried to ask for some other types, we had to ask multiple times before giving up. The meats for the day were also incredibly salty. One of the more disappointing visits this time around. The molten chocolate cake was delicious and the brunch cocktails were also great. Otherwise, everything else was just too salty and the service was just a little too slow.
Response: Your cuts should always be seasoned to your satisfaction, Klara, and we apologize for falling short. We want to make this right, so please send your phone number and availability to feedback@fogo.com. Thank you.

Dasha Motsar: We never been to a Brazilian Steak house for dinner. Today was a special occasion to try this place for my birthday. We tried to make a reservation but it was not an option with a short notice. So we just walked in and got seated in 10m on the Thursday night before Xmas week. But there was an issue we waited like 20 min and no one checked on us since we were seated. So we had to figure out if it’s totally self served or what. So once we went to get self served over at the salad bar, which had a plenty options of food. We finally got some drinks and attention at our table. Meat service was good and you get to test different type of meats. You will get 1 card with 2 side to be serve or to skip. So if it’s on green side you will keep getting meat served at your table. So you will get a plenty of meat served. At the end our server realized that we were not happy with service and gave us a dessert as complementary also as it was my bday. Next time I would prefer to go for a quiet and more special place for my birthday. If I have to spent that much.

Eric Hall: The restaurant has an amazing selection beef, chicken, pork, and lamb. The service is top shelf as well. We go as a group of 20+ and they are always more than accommodating to us. The salad bar is an excellent assortment of salads, fruits, cheeses, and other accoutrements

Reign Noi: Amazing food and service! We came here on June 6th and had a wonderful time! Reggie was our server and he was great. Multiple people/manager checked in on us while we were there. Will be back!

Joao Freire: Both me and my girlfriend had an amazing experience eating at Fogo de Chão in Tysons. Very welcoming and modern restaurant. As a Brazilian I would highly recommend this place, definitely reminds me of Brazilian cuisine. Our server Felipe was amazing along with Peter who helped us, and also John Carlos! We can’t wait to go back soon and eat more stake and desserts!!!🌟

Sang-Jin James Lee: We did our son’s first birthday party (dohl) at Fogo Tysons, and from the very start, their event coordinator, Shannon, helped from reservation to coordination. We were charged fairly according to our headcount. I would definitely come back again for their delicious food!

Ryan K.: Great first time experience for the wife! Everyone from the host & hostess to the bussers, everyone was very friendly, courteous and helpful! Delicious food, great salad bar, good atmosphere make this place definitely a favorite now. Will be coming back soon. Also received a complimentary dessert! Thank you!!

Diamond Lyles: Dennis Servella made our experience great! While the food was delicious, the drinks he made were AMAZING! He asked us both what are taste were and fulfilled them! If you would like something strong and good, we recommend the Cherry Blossom while those who have a sweet tooth enjoy the Mai Tai. Dennis was very friendly and we would love to come again while he his working. The other staff at the restaurant were very polite as well! They constantly checked in on us and made great recommendations. I really enjoyed my time here!

Andrew Windheim: Just had lunch at FdC in Tysons Corner VA. We all went for the salad buffet which was fantastic. Many different salads, cheeses, charcuterie meats, smoked salmon, grilled veggies, soup and on and on. And at $15pp for lunch, you can't beat it. The rotating skewers looked really great but no way we could have done that on top of the salad bar and Brazilian cheese puffs. Try the fried polenta sticks with grated parmesan, they're out of this world. Service was very professional and informative. They were chill with us just having the salad bar, didn't try to upsell us. One of our party had the Brazilian lemonade drink which was nice. Deserts also looked great, but again, no way on top of everything else. Will have to come back for dinner for the full experience with wine. Only bummer was having to pay for parking, which is unusual for this part of VA.
Response: Thank you so much for this detailed review, Andrew! We love to hear from our guests and are thrilled to learn you had such a great dining experience with our Tysons team. We hope to have you back in soon!
