Often I will wake up sore or stressed, call the studio in bed and they will be able to see me day of, that evening. The rooms, beds and music are soothing. The therapists are consistently expert and professional. Getting a massage is expensive, but I never regret spending the money. I'm telling you, these services are worth it!! The ambiance inside is classy but subdued, and the staff is friendly and Covid-conscious. My massage therapist, Eric, is the perfect combination of skill, kindness, and conscientiousness. I explained how I struggle with posture and carry so much stress in my neck and upper shoulders. I got a huge amount of pain relief out of the session, and my muscle knots felt like they were melting away like butter on toast. If you need especially heavy pressure, I highly recommend Eric. Also: as a woman, I greatly appreciated his emphasis on ensuring I felt safe and comfortable. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I was interested in medical massage for a few muscular spots that are taking longer to heal. He is truly a sports massage guru - knows the body, how it works, and how to fix it. He explains what's working correctly and what isn't and is a wealth of knowledge. Eric's bedside manner is energetic, welcoming, and fun! He ensures a comfortable and safe experience.

Angelica Oung: I wonder who the first man or woman who came up with a hot stone massage was thinking. Well I think they were a genius. I was a weary conventioneer in DC for just 3 days, suffering from jet lag and booked a 1-hour hot stone massage with Kim. It was perhaps the best massage I've ever had in my life and I don't say that lightly haven't been to some wonderful practitioners in LA and Thailand. Kim had a very intuitive touch for just the right amount of pressure to use and the stones in her hands were skillfully worked into her massage routine seamlessly so that they provided an additional source of heat and pressure that further facilitated relaxation. My only regret was that I did not ask for a longer massage. Thank you so much Kim I do believe this massage was how I managed to get over my jet lag so quickly. I also enjoyed the ambience of the spa which of course is a part of the experience. I would describe the interior as very genteel and the accessories were tasteful with giant plants in the waiting room that brought a touch of magic to the environment. They were also quite accommodating for someone looking for a same day booking. In short whether or not you are a visitor or lucky enough to frequent here often, I give DeLuca my highest recommendation, especially in the capable hands of Kim.

This was definitely one of the best sports massages that I have had to date. The space is tranquil. Overall experience - wonderful and I have already booked my next appointment with Jason.

This definitely was not worth $145 ($290 in total), will not be returning and will be sure to tell others to avoid the “deep tissue” and other services.

I booked a 60 min couples massage and it started off with both massage therapist being friendly and asking what areas needed the most attention. Once I got on the table I felt as though I was getting a massage from an amateur. It was a little weird. I've traveled all over and have had plenty of massages and this by far was the worst massage for both of us. I'm not saying all the massage therapist at this business are inexperienced, but the 2 we had might still be training. I selected this place because of the reviews but I was so disappointed.

Peter Colohan: Ivo is probably the best massage therapist in DC. I’ve been coming to him for years for pesky back and shoulder tension, and I always feel like a new human after his treatment. This week, as we were preparing to move out of our apartment, I twisted my back on a Thursday morning, and by Saturday I knew something had to be done about the unpredictable muscle spasms before move day. Ivo saw me that evening and resolved it. Painful to the touch when he started, he worked around the most painful tense area until it subsided, and ultimately worked on the spot directly. Pain gone. When were leaving they even asked us to tip them more than what we did. The exact words from the receptionist was “This tip is too little”. When I called to book, the person answering the phone had so little English, it was very difficult to make an appointment. They repeated my phone number, saying that was all needed When I arrived the next day after taking a taxi across town, I had no appointment. The second time I went there, I seemed to have been the first of the day. Once on the table, there was far more noise than expected. Upstairs people were walking heavily. There were at least two workmen, with buckets, banging around and talking loudly. The masseur spoke to them once but they continued for some time. When the session ended, I gave my card for the gratuity. The lady had no paper in the machine and did not understand the word APPROVED on the screen, so I was charged the gratuity 4 times before I took the machine from her hands and showed her it was empty!

Most states requires 500 hours education for graduating from a standard massage school, and in this place, only one person has finished 36 hours online course. Think twice before you stop by!

Nizar Farsakh: Pretty good massage all over and the deep tissue massage is really deep. Other places don't always do deep tissue massage well but this one does. It is right on Wisconsin Ave which is convenient however the beds are separated by curtains, there are no separate rooms.

It has such a relaxing opulence about it, that makes you feel as though you are truly getting in your “me time” the we all need. The bathrooms are also gorgeous and always very, very clean. This place also makes for a really good gift. I’ve purchased gift certificates for a massage for friends to as as a bridal and baby shower gifts, birthdays or just give to a friend who could use some relaxation and self care. When my BFF’s fly into I always book a girls day appointment for a day at the spa here! Now down to the actual massage. The therapists here are so very good at what they do and are very professional. They always ask where you are carrying stress at, and do a really good job of addressing the area. At a minimum I come twice a month. The massage and overall experience I have here is so amazing that on my most stressful of days, I often just call and take whatever therapist that is available and I have always had a very comfortable and relaxing experience. I always come out feeling like a new woman. After my massage I am always asked if I would like any water, which I appreciate. This place is an integral part of my self care routine. I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and calmly recharged. It’s really worth it to take time out of the chaotic and busy lives most of us live now a days, to just Unwind.

I recently visited on a Friday morning for a massage and to kickoff my bday weekend and I couldn’t have thought of a better way to do so! We had a couples aroma therapy massage and it was all that I needed. 90min flew by very quickly and I wish o could have done 120min lol. The essential oils are placed just in front of your face as you lay on your stomach which set the mood for me. However, after inhaling the oils for a moment, my partner & I became a bit stuffy. I thought maybe it was just me, but after my partner confirmed she was feeling stuffy as well, we noticed that it may have been the oils affecting us. I’ve had massages before without aromatherapy, and wanted to try this. I would stick to regular massages, but I don’t regret trying this one bit. I was still relaxed and plan to come back again. The parlor took note that this was how we decided to kick off our celebrations and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt appreciated and good vibes were in the air. They have def set a standard for my expectations. You can’t go wrong here. The people are friendly, management attentive, and thoughtful. Hope everyone can have a lovely experience like we did.

Cristina Bastin: The massage started nice, but then halfway in the massage, they kept knocking on our door. They started arguing with my massage therapist. They made me move rooms in the middle of my massage. Gave me a robe and had me move to the room next to my room in my robe. Totally ruin the whole experience. When I got out of my massage there were plenty of rooms open with double beds that they could of used or just let us finish since we had 20 mins left. They just gave me 5 extra mins and still charge me the full price. Barley apologized. Never going back. Worst experience.

L M: I just got myself a 90 minute massage with CBD oil. I knew in the first 30 seconds that it was going to be one of the best massages of my life. Marco is a seriously talented therapist. I can’t recommend him enough. So grateful!

SB AT: Went back in November 2021, with my mother. The massage was adequate, but nothing exceptional, especially for the price point (note: this is the standard price I pay for massages, and I expect a certain quality, which I usually receive). My masseuse ignored my instructions – he had asked me if any area felt particularly stiff or painful, and I had mentioned my neck and shoulder area. He didn’t spend any more time on that compared to the rest of my body, and didn’t adjust his technique to deal with accumulated tension or pain. I also had to ask for slippers – the expectation was clearly that we would take our shoes and socks off and step directly onto the rug and floor, neither of which inspired confidence (c’mon, people, have you seen a floor under a microscope?! I’m not going to carry all those germs back into my shows). When I asked, we were told slippers could be provided, and they were, but this should be standard, and has been for all other massage parlors/spas I’ve visited. If you’re trying to cut costs, just tell me in advance, and I’ll bring my own. Also: the mask issue. This was still at the height of the pandemic, and I was very particular about only wearing N95 or K95 masks (which was later proven correct by official guidance). We were not advised beforehand that these would not fit into the headrests at the end of the message beds, and we were required to take them off and wait for simple, surgical-type masks – the only kind they provide. I was not comfortable with the level of protection these masks offered, especially since the staff wasn’t wearing N95-KN95 masks. This should be clearly communicated ahead of time, and customers should be allowed to make the choice about what risks they want to take on. Receptionist did not care about us once we had exited the massage room. I had wanted to ask a question, but was left awkwardly waiting by her desk while she chatted on the phone – you don’t know how to briefly put a conversation on hold to deal with a paying customer who is physically present at the time? I gave up, and just said “thank you, have a nice day”. There was no response, not even a gesture, like a nod, anything, and no opportunity to offer immediate feedback. Nobody asked us how our experience had been. It was like “thanks for paying, bye-bye”. I won’t be back. There are better options in the DC area, especially for this price point.

I felt secure and safe - not embarrassed at all. It was so easy to book through the website and the people directing me in were very kind. The place is clean and comfortable. Maru clearly had lots of experience and I was grateful for her help. I work with backpacks and lots of standing, and I left feeling put back together, in a sense. The only issue I had was finding the place, but that was solved when I realized the business had helpfully posted a photo of the outside as a direction assistant. The man inside was able to further point me to where I needed to go. I would recommend this business and wish I had the time to go again next week.

The only problem is I paid for a deep tissue massage. Throughout the whole massage it just felt like no pressure was being applied to my issue areas. All of the pain points that I went in hoping to get worked out are still very painful. This place had a lot of good reviews and I’m super disappointed I didn’t have that experience. Maybe just got the wrong masseuse cause Iris seems to have many positive reviews. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return here though.

atophardie: I found Touch online, close to my office, so decided to try it. I was diagnosed sometime back with old muscle trauma in my neck and shoulders, a source of chronic discomfort. I usually seek out physiotherapists when the discomfort is unbearable, but the wait for an appointment was too long. Iris was my deep tissue technician, and she found the trouble spots and worked them over while attending to my entire spine and legs. She clearly was experienced, and her actions felt similar to that of sports physiotherapists I have used in the past. I could feel the loosening while on the table, and by the next morning my range of neck and shoulder muscle motion was normal. Iris checked in with me about my tolerance for pressure, and with consent did the job. I will be going back.

I got an hour long Swedish massage and the therapist focused on my stresspoints in combination with giving a very relaxing overall massage. I did have some trouble finding the studio at first, it’s on the 6th floor of the office building!

Elizabeth Miller: It's taken me a long time since moving to the DC area to find a massage place where I will be a repeat customer; but I have finally found it! Toey is fabulous, and makes a point of listening to you (and reading your intake form) about your particular concerns--for me it's neck/upper back/shoulder tension (shout-out to everybody who's been working remotely the last 2+ years and not always sitting up straight!), along with legs. I found myself totally relaxing, and kicking myself that I didn't find Eye Street Massage Therapy sooner. Definitely coming back (along with my mom) sometime in the near future!

Ebony Caldwell: I love this place. Finding a massage place with multiple great therapists is a hard find in the DMV, but they've mastered it. The prices are very fair. The service is great. The facility is clean and they follow all COVID protocols. They're accessible which is great for those with mobility issues. I've worked with several therapists, but my favorite w/o a doubt is Angela. She's new to the location but I've worked with her over the last 4 years and she's the GOAT. I have a lot of chronic pain and deal with muscle tightness, knots, spasms, you name it. She is very intuitive to your body and can work problem areas without discomfort. The only limiting factor for the site is parking, but it's right off of a metro line and bus line and if you get there a little early, you can find street parking nearby.

Jane Twomey: I came to Eye Street Massage Therapy because I sometimes have intense muscle/fascia pain. I thought I would try a 45 minute massage with Edmund. I stayed for an hour and made appointments on the spot to have Edmund work with me once a week for an hour. Eye Street Massage is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Edmund is a life saver. I can't say enough about how wonderful Edmund is!! My only disappointment is that I didn't find this service much, much sooner!!

However, he could not relexed while he had a massage because the massager was talking about his life for whole time. Dean Danowski: I chose 1 because the owner of the business apparently decided to drop me as a client because I needed PT not massage & they couldn't help me. It is one of the most ridiculous excuses or explanations that I ever received and not an acceptable approach by a business owner to tell a client, his doctor & his PT how to manage one's health. The therapists are professional and do their job well though the owner is crazy.

Justine Weissenborn: Best massage I've ever had! Yesterday I had a 90-minute hot stone massage with Alison, the owner of Georgetown Massage and Bodywork. It was obvious from the start that Alison really knows her stuff and adjusts accordingly to meet your needs. I don't think I have ever experienced a more thoughtful and knowledgeable massage therapist. Even the word massage therapist doesn't quite feel accurate-- Alison is a true body worker! She listened attentively to my areas of concern and I left feeling totally relaxed. I look forward to going back and trying their other services.

Lauren Vacula: Such a gem right in the middle of Georgetown! Alison, the owner, is fantastic- and you can tell how much care and thoughtfulness she puts into this business. I tried the sauna and felt INCREDIBLE after only 20 minutes. I also picked up my first crystals during my visit. I can't wait to come back!

Vanessa Ferragut: This is officially my new favorite spa. I had the CBD massage last week and it was amazing. I had a couple of weeks of sleeping poorly on my neck and Libby (AMAZING) really worked out the kinks. She was a pleasure to chat with, and this massage was both strong and targeted to my needs. I cannot wait to start making this a monthly thing. Also, parking on R street made it easy to visit Georgetown without the hassle of metered parking or pricey parking garages. That's a HUGE bonus!

Miranda: Georgetown Massage and Bodywork knows what they're good at and have perfected it. Their massages are relaxing, their office space no frills, and their therapists are helpful and kind. The first time I went my therapist mentioned circulation issues in my back, and during my second visit my therapist talked more about it and recommended future service options. She even gave me some stretches to do for lower back pain.

alexandra moran: Nancy is kind, professional and cares for my needs with genuine compassion. The space it lovely and clean and I look forward to each visit. The receptionist is super friendly and sweet. My services are always a joy and I tell all friends to try it out! After sustaining an injury, the very helpful massage therapists at Georgetown Massage and Bodyworks helped me to recovery and manage my pain. I currently visit about once a month because bodywork has become an integral part of my wellness routine, thanks to the specialized and effective care I consistently receive here!

N H: All the therapists focus on more therapeutic work and will listen to your requests and complaints. Most of them have worked there for years and the owner Alison has been in the area more then 10! Edit: New location, same great service! Right across Wisconsin from the old location, still upstairs but quite the upgrade! There are a lot of regulars so it can be hard to get an appointment sometimes but if you put yourself on the wait list you might get lucky!

Alanna Purdy Montesinos: The following is meant to provide feedback for management, not individual masseuses. I found several areas of improvement were needed at Massosport Massage. I picked Massosport over any other massage business because I had expected a sports massage, not massage for relaxation or tension, but I unfortunately this was not the case even though I booked a sports-focused massage. The massage was not particularly helpful for improving athletic performance, increasing flexibility or relieving tension. In addition, there were basic intake and customer treatment practices that were absent that could improve the consumer and staff experience. To begin with, the intake form provided by the receptionist prior to my appointment did not inform my session, nor did the receptionist provide a copy of my responses to the masseuse prior to my session. The form asked for personal information like illnesses, sport and fitness activity, areas of concern and desired pressure, but these factors were not integrated into the massage. In addition, before the massage I communicated verbally to the masseuse that it would be great for them to focus on 3 areas (shoulders, scalp, legs) during a 1 hour long session, but the masseuse only focused on one (my shoulders). I found this odd because I indicated I am a runner on the intake form, and the business is supposed to focus on spirts-related muscle work. After spending 55 minutes on my shoulders, the masseuse worked on ONE leg for <5 minutes and never worked on the other leg before the session was over. If there was not enough time to work on all three areas of my body during a one hour session, the masseuse could have asked me which area they should prioritize, or just priotized my legs since I am a runner and Massosport DC is supposed to specialize in sports-related treatment. I was also surprised to have the masseuse devote an unequal amount of time to each leg, as balance and equity amongst pair body parts can have huge impacts on sports performance and your risk of injury. The masseuse also never once asked about whether the pressure they were using was appropriate or how they should further tailor the massage treatment, which ultimately resulted in no tension being relieved in the muscle groups they worked on. After the massage, I was disappointed to receive very limited feedback about the level of tension or presence of injuries in the muscle groups worked, and did not receive suggestions as to what stretches I could do at home to improve muscle function before my next appointment. Lastly, in the process of rescheduling my appointment, the receptionist failed to mention that there was a price discrepancy between my original appointment (with an intern) and my rescheduled appointment (with a different therapist). The resulting appointment was 1.5x the original price. At $134 the appointment price point was set extremely high for the quality of massage and relief I experienced both during and after the treatment. As this is a business with FTE and not independent contractors, I believe the aforementioned factors are things that would be easy for the business to train its employees to do consistently with each appointment. Thank you for your consideration of this feedback.

Rosetta Watkins: I recently fell down a flight of stairs head first with my grandbaby in my arms. He was good tucked him close to me as I went down. That was Saturday. I visited the emergency room . I was instructed to rest however I was getting even more emobile, and even more pain. So I called to see if I could get a massage treatment with Keith who is outstanding. After a hour and a half I got up with less paint. This is my second visit @ Massosport and will not be my last. I feel so much better. Thank you Keith

Despite all of that, I am always tight and my soreness typically last way too long. When I first discovered Massosport DC, I was intrigued with the specific massage techniques that addresses my key issues. The owner and head therapist was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The massage studio is in a prime location and provides a feeling of serenity. I have now made this massage treatment a routine when I prepare to engage in major fitness activities. I have noticed increased flexibility and faster recovery times. I would recommend this location for people of all fitness levels. 5 stars.

Rachel Abbott: Anthony was wonderful, he was very kind and polite and did an incredible job with the massage. He was able to identify the knots easily and work through them. I do want to say I was not happy to find out that Illa Spa does not allow customers to use Groupon vouchers during any time of the week except weekday working hours. They don't include this anywhere on the Groupon page, which is misleading. It's not on their website either.

Jordan Davis: DO NOT GO HERE! I would leave 0 stars if I could...this place is a scam and the employees are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Was told they don't take Groupon after I booked the appointment and entered my Groupon at the time of booking, refused to service me, and the woman screamed at me and walked away. Save your time and do not go here.

Henry Appel: I purchased a Groupon and reserved an appointment online. Their online system was impossible to understand. Then after my massage, they charged me full price and refused to accept the Groupon. So I paid double for an average-at-best massage. I had already paid for the Groupon and I gave the owner a chance to correct the issue and refund the difference between the Groupon price and the full price they charged me, but she rudely refused. This place is a complete scam. Also, there are flies EVERYWHERE.

Elizabeth Pope: Can I give less than one star? My boyfriend bought a voucher for a couples massage that took close to a month for them to try to honor. I called on several occasions when I wasn’t able to book online. and when I spoke to the lady at the front desk she was extremely rude and hung up on me and told me that it wasn’t her fault that their computer didn’t honor our voucher, not to mention the “death in the family“ excuse for not honoring our massage.

Ebony Dowtin Harris: Run the other direction. The business owner is rude and yelled at me when I expressed frustration of having my appointment request denied twice. She told me if I wanted the appointment not to use a Groupon and to go and pay the full price. She reminded me I had four months to use the Groupon. If you don’t have the appointment available then how is suddenly available if I pay full price? She also raised her voice at me and yelled at me like a child the. Sent me a rude text message. I have been here years ago but I never dealt with the owner until now. It will be my last time.

I think I was hoping for a more intensive foot massage since we paid full price for the full body and a groupon for Foot Reflexology. I feel like they kind of held back on the foot reflexology part of the deal 🤔

YAN PRN: If you are a guest in the hotel it's probably gonna be awesome because it's conveniently located! However if you have to drive to the location, I would not recommend, unless you've been before and can accurately navigate. It's DC so traffic will ALWAYS get the best of you. The reason I fault them with a start is because for $250 I was at least expecting an email with address and directions and quite frankly a warning .I got a text no doubt with the time but that was about it. On my way there I called about running late, and was told valet would validate my parking, all information that would have been helpful before hand to help me better plan,l. Of course between figuring out the location, flagging down staff for directions etc, by the time I got there I was told I have only 10 mins left on the sesion but was more than welcome to use the jacuzzi/spa. Now being in customer relations myself I take responsibility for not planning well. However, drive up there once and experience how bad the accessibility is, including the almost non-existent valet entrance (it's DC one wrong turn and you earn an extra 10mins just to make a turn), and you'll understand why I felt catfished! It's my wife's bday and the massage will probably be done by the time Im done posting this.

DeNene Colton-Wright: I stopped in to get a consult but was unable to make an appointment. The manager made time to talk with me about and give his opinion on appropriate colors for my hair due to my skin tone. He also explained why my hair fallicals and hair texture was changing due to major medical care I received. It was confirmed that regrowth would take time but assured me that my doctors were correct and that my hair changes were reversible. Very grateful for an impromptu consult on an emotionally challenging subject. I look forward to having a cut, color and style in the near future.

Erica Pishko Carlsson: The spa at the Four Seasons Georgetown is lovely. I received a 50 min massage with a professional therapist. The reception area includes tea and snacks as well as a co-ed lounge area. Their relaxation area inside the locker rooms feels like a hallway and isn’t too relaxing. However, there is a co ed lounge area that is a a great place to enjoy a glass of champagne with your opposite gender companion. During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy their sauna and steam room. Note it is a quite small area that does not provide the excellent ammenities like a sonic shower or super dreamy steam room. It is rather basic. However, downstairs (accessed by stairs only) there is a lovely pool and hot tub. This part of the Four Season spa is the most relaxing and is the primary reason to return. My massage was professional and pleasing, yet the massage therapist expressed some not so favorable opinions about people’s gender and clothing choices, which discouraged lesbian culture which concerned me. I would return, but make sure I worked with a more socially conscious therapist next time.

Kelly Mitchell: I have tried a lot of different workout routines in the past and have had several trainers. I never liked to exercise but knew it to be a necessary evil. With Glenn, I look forward to our training time and don't mind the "homework" between sessions. I also have realized weightloss, better endurance, and size reduction in less than a month. This is the fastest I remember seeing these kinds of results. The accountability is tops. I highly recommend F3 for your fitness needs.

Clayton hall: After "training" on my own throughout most of the pandemic, I hit a wall and was worried about injuring myself as I tried to incorporate more advanced kettlebell movements into my routine. With Glen's expert instruction, I've taken my workout to the next level and increased my strength and endurance. Plus I am far more confident with the bells + now clubs. Give him a try, you won't regret it.

Eric Dunn: Glenn has been nothing short of fantastic in working with me over the past few months. I’ve noticed changes in my body that have sustained and my strength has been picking up a lot. Gloria: I had my first visit yesterday, and it was a great experience. The workout was customized to my specific needs. The facilities are very nice and I had a great stretch. I’ve taken kettlebell classes a few times over the past 8 years. It’s been 2 years since I’ve had a class due to the distance and scheduling. I was so excited to find something close to home that can fit into my schedule. Glenn was great in helping me get back to the basic fundamentals of kettlebells. Mayte Gutierrez: Starting from the Staff...no friendly at all, and a terrible service atitud. I would say too much attitud to be in a front desk. Dr. Oliver Roberson gets into arguments with patients frecuently, leave you waiting for more than 30 minutes, but if you get there 5 to 10 min late he basically refuses to see you with any excuse after arguing. If you are think in a relaxing therapy, this is not exactly the place I will go.

Brianna Leonard: I had the pleasure of being serviced here for the first time. I got a gel mani/pedi with Alisa. She was wonderful. In fact the whole experience was wonderful. Scheduling was easy. I scheduled the appointment online (which was easy) an hour before I was seen and called to confirm the same day appointment. It was effortless and the woman who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. When I arrived, it was peaceful, clean and I really felt like Alisa took her time with me, was gentle and was very detail oriented, meticulous and polite, I had a great time, was incredibly relaxed and pampered and I left her a nice tip. I will be retuning again soon and I will recommend this place to others.

Helen Hocknell: Went here for a mani/pedi and was really impressed. Clean, well-appointed facility. Staff was polite and attentive, happy to chat and make small talk, but also happy to let us sit quietly and relax while they did their thing. Foot and hand massage was terrific, and my cuticles and nails looked great after. Manicure lasted a week before it started chipping (which is typical), but my toes still looked great a month later. They don't have massage chairs but they were very comfortable and they gave you a neckwarmer that felt absolutely fabulous. I had them reheat it twice since we were there for a while and it was so great I went out and bought a similar one online. Very pleased with the results, pricing is reasonable. Looking forward to going back!

Michaela Svaranowic: Found this salon on Groupon. Figured I’d give it a try since they had good reviews, but unfortunately had the worst nail experience of my life. I had a full acrylic set with gel, which is my go-to service. The nail tech applied the acrylic with ZERO technique and just lumped on the acrylic and then attempted to buff/sand it down. What I ended up with were uneven lengths, lumpy and bumpy acrylics, varying thickness and no natural curvature, and inconsistent shaping. The photos truly do not do it justice of how bad it was. After only 4 days on having the nails they already started lifting so I ripped them all off, which was relatively easy which I believe was due to the application being done so poorly.

Hannah James: Up charged $7 for French tip which was of very poor quality. The pedicure was fine, which is what gives this salon 2 stars instead of just 1. There was also a $5 upcharge for “callus removal” which ended up just being the same service that most salons include in the standard service - just the sponge rubbed in the heel for maybe 20 seconds for each foot. Of course, the calluses are still there. I came in for a mani pedi and the female tech did not soak my nails in hot water before attempting to push back my cuticles, which felt terrible on my skin. The shape of my French tips was not rounded and is raised in comparison to the clear polish. The woman tried to put my hand in the gel polish dryer without showing me the shape she was painting. I said, that shape is not rounded and looks flat. When I commented this to the one tech he said they would look better after being filed down. My nails are already quite short and I didn’t want them any shorter! I am unhappy with the finished product and won’t be returning. Don’t recommend this salon for honest prices or quality work.

Phillisha Duffey: I went here for a pedicure and dip nail manicure. My pedicure was really good, very detailed and overall really nice. However when it came time for my nails I felt the technique used was very sloppy and rushed (instead of dipping the wet brush into powder, she dusted my nails with the powder). Meanwhile another woman was also getting dip nails and the technician did a very thorough job. Please avoid getting a dip manicure from the young female technician with a heart necklace. ( There were no name tags, she appears to do a lot of talking on the behalf of the business) Update: 7/29- my nail coloring is already coming off after 4 days, just ridiculous.

Alyssa Glorioso: I had the pleasure of working with the director of catering, Liliana Klein, on a gorgeous wedding this past weekend. I was the couple's planner and was thrilled to be able to produce a wedding at Ritz Carlton Georgetown. Throughout the process, Liliana was the consummate professional: warm and welcoming, communicative, addressed any and all questions, followed up after any meetings promptly, and on the day was FANTASTIC to work with. I could tell it was a high priority of Liliana to go above and beyond for the couple in making their wedding weekend a dream experience for them and an effortless celebration for their guests. Would work here for every wedding if I could! Plus, gatherings of 70-90 are my favorite!! Thank you, Liliana and RC staff.

Clarence Reber III: Easily one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the US. It was our third different Ritz-Carlton location, and it surpassed the other two in terms of service and feel. Let's start with the negatives: parking garage is on the opposite side of the same block and down a hill. So if you plan to self park, unload your stuff and family first (it was cheap though, so that's a plus). Also, there's plenty signs of wear on the furniture and trims in our suite. But honestly, we didn't care about any of that. We were greeted by three door men who escorted us to seats at the concierge, and then later to our suite. The concierge was extremely welcoming, upgrading our room and offering late checkout without us having to say a thing. The complimentary glasses of champagne are a really nice touch. The suite was gigantic and I really didn't want to leave. Bed was super comfortable, the tub was awesome, and the shower was huge. The bathroom was also very large with a separate toilet/bidet station. Oh, and the extra powder room was nice. Room service brought breakfast at the exact minute it was requested, and it was really good. Cutest little bottle of hot sauce, too. I understand that I'm glowing about this space largely due to the upgraded suite, and that I'll never get that again, but I seriously cannot wait to visit here again.

Patty Arvielo: I'm sorry but hope that my review helps when making a decision on what hotel to book. This is a 3 star hotel at best, it appears as though it is a Marriott not a Ritz Carlton. For a better choice book the Four Seasons Georgetown. I have an Exec Suite , the furniture is stained and old, the mini bar has absolutely nothing in it. Just not a 5 star hotel.

Alice Greenberg: I absolutely loved my stay here! The service was amazing the entire time! I stayed in one of the "Wellness rooms" and really loved being down the hall from the spa as that was my primary reason for staying. If you're not going to the spa I'm not sure it's worth the upgrade but my room was very comfortable. I was advised at check-in that the wellness rooms were closer to construction on a neighboring building but the noise was minimal and didn't bother me at all. The food was expensive but high quality and generously portioned.

Sean C: For a high end hotel, the rooms were old, not well maintained, and very underwhelming. We were super disappointed when we got into our room. It was mediocre at best. It looks like what you would expect at one of the lower end Marriott properties, but not a Ritz. The shower is super small, the toilet is very low to the ground and uncomfortable. The bathtub was dirty, the towels were small, thin and not soft at all. The wallpaper also has stains in a number of places. The lobby of the hotel is nice and the location is good. There are two wings in the hotel and our room was in the West, so I don’t know if this is an older part of the hotel or not, but it could use major renovations for us to want to come back again.

Toni Dzinic: My wife and I had our wedding at the Ritz in their Fahrenheit Ballroom, and what a beautiful night it was! We had ~60 guests and that is about the most people I’d personally recommend for the ballroom. Liliana Klein is the person to talk to when you want to plan a wedding there and she’s such a pleasure to work with. She walked us through everything from day 1. The food was excellent, the preferred vendors were also a joy to work with. Seriously, I’ve never experienced better service at a hotel. If you’re considering having your wedding here, do it! If you’re coming here for a night or two, or just to enjoy some dinner and cocktails, you also won’t regret it. We’ll be back!
