Nicole DiAntonio: I LOVE visiting this MAC Makeup Union Station not only for the makeup, but for the people! I first met Carla when she helped me pick out makeup for my job. She had the best advice. Now, anytime I have a promo shoot, I always call Carla to see if she is available to do a professional makeover! When I had my wedding reception this summer, she traveled to Annapolis to do my makeup, along with my mom, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. She is the best! Highly recommend.

Danielle Scott: I’ve came to this location three times before. The first time I was 6 months pregnant (2014) I don’t remember the make up artist name. And the last two times was recently. Each visit was pleasant. This review is for my recent visit 3/22/22 My make up artist name was Tashae she was very professional, knowledgeable and took her time when applying my make up, gave me a variety of products to try out that worked for me. She answered all my questions that I had and also gave me makeup recommendations. On top of regular skin care tips because you have to take care of your skin underneath the foundation. I wanted a more of a natural look i was celebrating my 30th birthday and she went above and beyond to assist me which made my day even more special. And I received so many complements on my look. 😍The store was clean and stocked with products. I was in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much Tashae you are amazing.

She was able to do my face for an event that I had scheduled for that evening the 26th of November. Veronica King: I loved the staff. There were so many options to choose from, and they made my process easy. I love this location.
Tasheka Ellis: I went into this location on a Sunday at 12pm, didn’t have time to make an appointment and wanted to get my face made up for my birthday brunch which was at 2pm. There were 2 young ladies working at the time, however, that did not stop them from portraying great customer service. The associate Sam (I think short for Samantha), took care of me right away and explained that she may have to stop in between to take care of others, which I was understanding. Needless to say, Sam did an AMAZING job on my face (check out my profile) and this was my 1st time wearing makeup. She was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and I left happy and BIRTHDAY FABULOUS!!! Thank you again for showing great customer service.

K H: I came in today around 11:00 to find a concealer to brighten my under eye area. I was assisted by a young lady whose name started with a M. I forgot her name which was no fault of hers. She gave me excellent service. She was patient and understanding when dealing with someone who gets intimidated by makeup. Her attitude made me feel welcomed. She took the time to explain to me how different products work and clarified any specials going on. Her manager Arnold was helpful as always. I remember him from the Fairfax store and he was very knowledgeable and kind as well. I have never had a bad experience at this location and will return in the future. Kiara C: I had the most wonderful experience here during the lash event they had Valentine’s Day weekend. I went in a little nervous, but told them the multiple colors I wanted for my night time eyeshadow look which included a cat eye and the use of pigment. I was BLOWN AWAY by the results. I will update this with the name of the lovely ladies who helped me; I seem to have misplaced the card I wrote it on 😝. Either way I highly recommend them for your makeup needs and purchases. Check out is always quick and efficient and they are also very knowledgeable about the products and how to correctly use them.
Karen Coley-Lofty: An associate, Vanna did such a fantastic job at helping me transition from 8 years of using Bare Minerals to MAC cosmetics. I came into the MAC at the Columbia Mall because my current makeup was not offering concealer coverage anymore. Vanna did a makeover that I fell in live with. I felt so pretty that I purchased every product she used to make me pretty. She gave me advice on how to apply my makeup. I became a hottie at the Black Tie event.

Megan Betancourt: I went to grab a few refills on my way to the commissary and was greated by two bright and happy ladies. One lady graciously offered to help hold my infant son while I searched for the shade I needed on my phone. The kindness and helping hand made me feel so incredibly important as a customer and made my experience so much more easy and pleasant. After checking out she made sure to keep a record of my shades for the next time I stop in. Their system does not operate like the other MACs in the mall where they can pull up all your order history, so having a record of all my shades will be helpful in shopping at the MAC on Fort Belvoir again. Thank you ladies so much for making my day!

Paige A: I was not greeted. I was not offered help. I was not told that someone would be with me in a moment. I wasn’t even given the friendly white people smile. Instead I was eyed up and down as I was confused on what to purchase! I run into this everytime at mac and no lie, when I went into sephora I heard these girls saying “go to mac!” “No im not going because they’re rude”. I will NEVER spend money here unless I am contacted by a corporate member and apologized to. EDIT: A year later and MUCH HAS CHANGED. A TOTAL 360. I was greeted by all of staff members. I was very confused about finding a new foundation, concealer, powder, and brow pencil. The manager I believe hooked me up with an amazing associate with a similar skin color as I (caramel complexion) which was awesome because she shared the same problems that I had, so she was able to help me even more. I walked out with everything I had came in for. I didn’t get an E receipt so I couldn’t leave my review there, but hopefully someone will see this and give her the recognition she deserves!
Skyy Herndon: The whole staff was polite and professional. Charles went ABOVE and BEYOND to not only help me with products but to correct the errors that I was making with makeup application and skin care. He was exceptional and helped me to further perfect my craft. He’s a great asset to the makeup community. ❤️
