dipika: Really cool venue for a DIY wedding. There's a perfect enclave for a live band / dance floor with seating all around. I don't know if the bar & food setup was designed by the venue, but that's the only part confusingly setup. The lighting they supported was super cool.

Ian Furlong: Nice space in the heart of Dc for Events etc.

Rachel Tuchrello: This was a rip off. Paid for tickets that said they included food and drinks and that there would be several bars and food stations. There was ONE small table that served as a bar and one small food table. Stood in ‘line’ for an hour for drinks, didn’t even bother waiting for food. Much smaller venue than expected. Would not recommend. For this much money you could go to a better set up event. Very disappointing.
Response: We are not a bar... we are an event space. We do not sell tickets, the client that rented our space did. We did not promise food and several bars, because that is not what we do. If you have an issue with the pricing, the food, or the bar, I would take that up with the event organizer of the caterer (neither of whom work for or represent us).

G. Williker: This place can definitely pack a crowd, but also had room to spread out. If one venue is your only plan for holiday events the investment in a VIP/Group seating is worth it.

Beth Schwab: Great location in the heart of the business district. Large open indoor space to host events with room for other amenities such as catering or a DJ, etc.

Kyle Hollis: It's one thing to find a nice venue. It's a whole other level when it comes with exceptional management and staff. The best venue in the District!!

Mia: Settle in, because this is going to be a long one. Tl;dr: the twins are the BEST and you’ll be missing out if you don’t work with them. Where do I begin? Kristy and Krista are the absolute BEST. Wedding planning is a hard and stressful process, and the Stunners made the process fun and exciting. How often do you come across a bride who ISN’T stressed about her wedding? Seldom, almost never. I didn’t stress about a single thing throughout the planning process because Kristy and Krista full understood my vision and ideas for our wedding. No idea was too big, no question too silly, and every effort was taken to not only find us vendors for our big day, but to find us the BEST vendors possible. I’m not just saying that because “oh, our vendors were nice!” I’m saying that because it’s true. Our floral designer, stationery designer, catering team, makeup artist, videographer, cake baker, tux designer, and photographer are all long-standing GOATs (Greatest of All Time) in the industry and in the greater DMV. Knowing that our planning team wouldn’t just send us any old vendor, but people who they vetted, trusted, and we’re confident could make our dreams come true gave us full confidence that our wedding day would be perfect (it was, BTW). It’s rare to come across people who will be as invested in your plans and dreams as you, and that was Krista and Kristy. Aside from their attention to detail and amazing connections, they are a joy to work with. The twins are two of the kindest, funniest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. Kristy will dream (and scheme, if your forever-to-be is being stingey with the budget) with you until the cows come home. Do know a lot of brides come in with “I want this exactly like that” but if you let go and let Kristy flow, she will make your wedding reality surpass your wedding dreams. Krista is such a whiz with getting the timelines where they need to be and making sure everyone is on their marks so your wedding day goes off without a HITCH. When you work with the team at Stunning Soirées, you’re not just one of a dozen couples who gets the same copy/paste, wash, rinse, repeat planning efforts. You are working with a team of people (because they also have an amazing assistant named Dymond and a Groom Concierge named Josh on their team) who are sincerely invested in making sure your day is as perfect as your love. Each wedding is different, and the level of personal care the Stunning Soirées team shows their clients during and after the wedding planning process is unmatched. I will sing the praises of the twins until the cows come home. Our wedding was perfect, our friends and family have called it the “nicest,” “fanciest,” or “most romantic” wedding they’ve been to. Most importantly, our wedding was US. Kristy and Krista took our ideas and their interactions & knowledge of us as a couple and created a wedding that was so unique to who we are as a couple. Long story short: stop thinking about it and BOOK. THEM. You’ll be SO glad you did and might be so sorry if you don’t. Don’t set yourself up to wonder “what if we’d worked with Stunning Soirées?” book with Stunning Soirées and have the STUNNING wedding experience you deserve.

Genes N. Dreams: Kristy and Krista are stunning twins with minds brimming with creativity, vision, and a definite eye for elegance. They made our wedding an absolute charming affair. What we loved most about the talented duo and team was their personable demeanor, friendliness, and attention to detail & deadlines. They don't treat their clients as clients or see weddings as assignments they need to complete. They take the time to understand what couples envision for their wedding and execute the vision from start to finish IMMACULATELY. Stunning Soirees captured ideas noted from our consultations, noted pads and zoom meetings. They prioritized vendor packages and also provided suggestions and recommendations that helped to create our beautiful day! K Styles: From start to finish, Stunning Soirees created magic for my special celebration. When I told them the type of event I wanted, they provided "out of the box" suggestions that were beyond my wildest imagination. They did not miss a detail and they branded everything with my special logo. Every vendor they suggested provided quality service. I did not worry about a single thing and their hard work and professionalism, ensured a fantastic celebration that I will never forget. I can't imagine planning a future celebration without them!

Travis LeFlore: Our Oktoberfest Birthday Celebration was nothing short of AMAZING! Stunning Soirees took care of all of the details. My wife’s favorite adult beverage is Fireball, so of course, they made sure that everyone had a shot of fireball along with a custom shot glass. They worked with some amazing vendors to create a memorable celebration for us and our guests. Our beautifully designed tablescape was filled with pumpkins, candles, and gorgeous floral centerpieces. Our guests loved the photo booth and the backdrop was perfect! What’s an Oktoberfest without beer and what is beer without beer mugs and koozies? They worked with Jace Creations to create custom koozies and beer mugs for all of our guests. The Menu consisted of some Oktoberfest classics, Bratwursts, pretzels, and a seafood boil (Kat loves crab legs)! Stunning Soirees did an amazing job planning and coordinating our party! We will surely use them again for our next event. If you are looking for an event planner, hire these ladies!

Lisa Esposito: Impeccable service, taste and attention to detail. As a millennial woman raised on Martha Stewart and Food Network I always assumed I could handle planning an upscale event while working full time with some research and a Pinterest board. Wrong! Once I realized how much time and energy would go into bringing my vision to life I immediately sought out an event planner. My event, a Baby Shower, was on the smaller end (25 people) and short (3 hours) so many of the planners I reached out to seemed to be disinterested. Lauren was thorough, lovely, and accommodating right from the start. She always made me feel like my event was her top priority and that nothing but the best would do. Whenever there was a hiccup she had a solution before she even let me know about the issue. The vendors she recommended were not only top quality but didn't break the bank. Her taste level is elevated and modern and she is a pro at translating your vision into something within your budget and achievable. Laurens services are also extremely reasonable given the quality of her work, attention to detail, and overall experience working with her.

Beth Nichols-Howarth: Lauren came into our party planning process 1 month before the event date and she immediately established herself as a knowledgable, trusted, and confident planner. She took over communications between the venue and vendors, she helped us figure out layout of the space to maximize room for dancing and eating, and she participated in every phone call to develop the timeline for the event. Lauren allowed us to confidently leave the set up in her hands and we arrived to a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated party. She was beyond helpful and patient and we couldn't have made the party such a success without her!

Shana Treger: We hired LR Events to help plan our son’s Bar Mitzvah. From the very first call with her, we knew Lauren would make our event unique, creative, and, more importantly, a fun celebration. She helped us create amazing invitations, a unique and creative logo, fabulous favors, and a celebration to remember. After our party, several guests asked us who our planner was--a true testament to her attention to detail and excellent work. Lauren is clever, wise, attentive, and so accommodating. Lauren Eskovitz: We worked with LR Events for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Lauren was amazing. She made the day exactly what our daughter wanted and helped us stay in budget and on track. Lauren is kind and professional and found us the best vendors for what we needed. I was sad the weekend was over because it was so much fun, but also because I wasn't going to need to talk to Lauren every day! Highly recommend!

Lynn Mandell: Lauren was a life saver - I literally could not have done more than I was already doing for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah - the guest list, the invites, preparing for the service, managing my extended family. I really needed help with the party from someone who knew what they were doing! Caterer? Lauren gave me 4 high quality choices and I picked the one I like the best. DJs? Same - I picked from the handful of great choices she gave me. If I had to go searching on google I would've ended up with hundreds of choices and no way to know who was good. Lauren handled all vendor communications, helped me track vendor payments, suggested decor options, timelines, and a million other details that I never would've thought of. As we were leaving I told her I'll call her when my younger child is ready for his Bar Mitzvah. It's a relief to know I'll have high quality help to make it a success! Recommended without hesitation, I couldn't have pulled it off without her!

Amanda Agetstein: Lauren is absolutely amazing and a dream to work with. She is organized, creative, and very responsive. We hired her two months before our event and she pulled everything together in time. She sets up a google drive to keep all of the contracts, logos, and other important details in one central location. She brings new and fresh ideas to consider and she thinks through all of the details. One small example is I was planning to have normal tented name cards and she found beautiful gold wooden carved names instead. Her taste is so elegant and she works with top notch vendors. She is always available via email, text, and phone and she sets realistic timelines for when things need to get done. She is accommodating, she listens to what the clients want, offers suggestions for improvement and executes on the ultimate decision of what the clients decides. She never says no to any request, but rather “let me figure out how to make it work”. She truly puts the clients first and advocates with all other vendors to ensure her clients are happy. Most of all, Lauren was fun to work with. We had such a positive experience that we already hired her for our next Mitzvah in 3 years!

Joy Tiani: LR Events planned my 40th birthday party. Everything was perfect from the cake that people are still talking about to the decorations to the specialty napkins. The attention to detail was excellent and her professionalism and attention to detail gave us confidence from the beginning this was going to be a success and it certainly was!

Brenda Seidel: I held a birthday celebration at a restaurant and this became more charming and inviting with the help of LR Events. From invitations, tablecloths, centerpieces, menu and cake, Lauren’s advice was tasteful and made planning the dinner easier and more fun for me.! 🍰🍷🍷

Rachel Redden: We cannot thank Stephanie at SRS events enough for helping us plan the most beautiful wedding and best day of our lives! When we began planning our DC wedding, we were living in Hawaii and had no idea where to start - both working busy jobs & not going into planning with a vision of what we wanted. Stephanie was organized, thoughtful and punctual from the beginning, all while navigating our 6 hour time zone difference as well as planning during the height of COVID uncertainty. She made the whole process stress free which allowed us to relax and enjoy every party of our engagement and wedding day. Her design recommendations and vision were incredibly helpful, and our room reveal at our wedding was one of my favorite memories of the whole day. Her day of team was also excellent and made the entire day run smoothly. I wouldn't change one thing about our wedding day and cannot recommend her enough!

Michelle Cravez: After an initial planned "long engagement" plus an additional year COVID delay, we had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for almost 2.5 years to make our wedding dreams a reality. Hiring Stephanie and her team at SRS Events was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST decision we made during the entire planning process and I don't know what we would have done without Steph holding our hands throughout the journey. I consider myself a creative person who had tons of ideas and opinions on how I envisioned my perfect wedding, but when it came to making decisions...it can definitely be overwhelming. There are just SO MANY OPTIONS out there. This is where Steph's help really came into play. She assisted us by narrowing down choices, providing her expert opinion on our ideas, and organizing the entire day down to every last detail. When the time came, we literally had nothing to do but enjoy. Steph checked in regularly leading up to the event, sat in on our vendor meetings, and assisted in negotiating down prices. She created the perfect timeline and was extremely prepared. I literally had zero idea if there was anything that went wrong throughout the day because she worked her magic and fixed it. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding soon after ours, which only made me appreciate working with SRS Events even more knowing how much of a difference an organized and seasoned Wedding Planner can make. At first I was a bit nervous to work with SRS Events because many of the photos of their past weddings seemed a bit more traditional and romantic than the wedding I was envisioning, but after my consultation with Stephanie and hearing how organized and creative she was, I knew she was exactly the right partner I needed to work with. AND she knocked our groovy boho-disco-farm (whatever you want to call it) wedding out of the park! I was especially impressed with the online wedding planning platform that she uses with her clients, it helped us tremendously in staying on budget and organizing all our contacts and contracts in one place. Throughout the entire COVID postponement period, Steph remained calm and guided us through the process of amending our vendor contracts and coming up with creative solutions. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. This was the best money we spent on our wedding, without a doubt. What an amazing value and thanks for teaching me so much about party planning!

Karen Dowling: I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie and SRS Events. From the beginning, I loved how she got to know us and what we were looking for in our day, it felt personal from the start. She made the entire process so easy--including all the prep work in advance, managing the entire team of vendors, all the way though to the wedding day itself. Our day was perfect, and felt completely seamless, so if anything went wrong behind the scenes, we had no idea! We were also so appreciative of how gracious she was with helping us reschedule due to COVID (twice!). She helped alleviate so much stress at that time, and was an absolute life-saver in handling all the added work that came with that. Stephanie was so amazing in helping us make decisions, giving us helpful suggestions on things we didn't even know we needed, and was incredibly responsive throughout. She was also great at sending us reminders about when we should be taking care of different aspects, so we never felt rushed as the final date neared. To top that all off, she had a baby during this process, and communicated with us early so even when she was taking time to be with her family, we never felt alone. I would highly recommend Stephanie to absolutely everyone!

Anna McCormack: It’s been three months since our November wedding and we are still just so blown away by absolutely everything Stephanie was able to accomplish. As someone who is extremely organized and good at project management, I figured I’d easily be able to pull off planning and executing an elegant wedding. However, after being engaged for a full year, my then fiancé and I had made no progress planning our wedding. I didn’t have a dream day planned, and hadn’t given much thought to what I wanted my wedding to be like, leaving me completely lost on the planning process. That’s when we turned to Stephanie. I didn’t have a gown style in mind, didn’t know what type of a venue I saw myself getting married in, much less had any idea of how to answer the seemingly endless number of decisions to be made: Napkin fold? Charger or no charger? Matte or satin paper? Formal addressing? How long should the reception last? How much time should be in between the ceremony and the reception? The list goes on and on. I also knew I wasn’t a typical pink and pastel bride. After our first meeting, and after reviewing some of her work, Stephanie assured me she would help us achieve a wedding that reflected our styles. She did exactly that. She was easy to work with, prompt via email, and never too busy to hop on a call. Most importantly, Stephanie made sure we kept on schedule, and helped me properly prioritize the decisions we needed to make while guiding me towards the best, most practical choices. She was respectful of our budget and also went out of her way to find unique details that would appeal to me. Our wedding was unique, reflected our personalities and who we are as a couple, and blew away all our guests. They are still talking about it. I can not recommend Stephanie enough. If you’re on the fence about hiring her, don’t think twice.

Helena Wu: SRS events went above and beyond in every aspect! We feel so lucky to have Stephanie and her team on our wedding team. Stephanie and her team were so incredibly helpful and our only regret is not hiring SRS events sooner! She helped us every step of the way as we navigated the challenges of planning a wedding during a pandemic. Two weeks before our wedding date, we had to scramble to find a new reception venue because of the new COVID gathering restrictions in DC. Stephanie found us the perfect replacement venue that fulfilled all of our requirements. She coordinated with all of our vendors and helped us find last minute catering. She even helped arrange transportation for all of our guests. We literally could not have pulled off the wedding without them. Stephanie and her team are professional, capable, friendly, easy to communicate with, and detail-oriented. They are so on top of everything, and no detail was overlooked. The week leading up to the wedding, she made us a 10 page detailed wedding day schedule. On the wedding day, Stephanie and her team took care of EVERYTHING. The wedding day flowed seamlessly. I was able to fully enjoy the wedding day all thanks to SRS events. My husband and I, and our family and friends are so impressed with SRS events. We wholeheartedly recommend them!

Ricardo Parra: To this day we continue to receive many compliments on how amazing our wedding was. We’ve even had other married couples tell us that if they’d do it again, they would want it to be the same as ours. The credit for all of this goes to Stephanie and SRS Events. We were overwhelmed with having to juggle planning the wedding and work; and we didn’t know any vendors nor venues. The best decision we made was hiring Stephanie since the beginning (around 9 months before the wedding). Since the first meeting we were immediately relieved. She guided us through the whole process with very detailed timelines and budget milestones. The wedding was amazing; my wife and I were able to focus on the important part…enjoying the day and having fun with our guests. Erin Tetterton: Stephanie of SRS Events is incredible. No couple asks for rain on their wedding day, but if it happens you will want Stephanie by your side. As a wedding Photographer, I've seen many rainy wedding days, but was so happy to see Stephanie not only had a rain plan in place, but also continued to stay ahead of the weather forecast. When the rain became imminent, she sprang to action gracefully & quickly ensuring the couple, their guests & family, and vendors alike were safe from the rain.

Katie Iverson: Oh wow, I could write a book about how wonderful Stephanie is and I'm genuinely so sad our time together is over already! I really thought I could manage wedding planning on my own but January hit and I realized I needed help desperately. I scoured planners tirelessly to find someone who had the right style and cost, Stephanie was the perfect fit. Her work is sooo versatile, she can do classy, boho, vintage, rustic, elegant, you name it. And the cost was unbelievably reasonable for the quality of work she does. She stepped in four months out from my wedding and took on everything like Superwoman- contracts, communication with vendors, reaching out to the ones I still needed. She was SO responsive and organized, always on top of things. I was struggling with transportation and she knocked it out easily for me in one day. She handled so much, it was a huge weight of my shoulders the final weeks before the big day. She picked the perfect furniture rentals for my boho style, laidback wedding and worked with all of the vendors I had already hired to complete my vision. She had some amazing ideas along the way that I never would have thought of myself and I'm so grateful for her creativity! She's also more than willing to take on the challenges that come with planning, like frustrating last minute changes from the venue staff. Best attitude ever, always positive and optimistic, gets you even more excited for the wedding, which I didn't think was possible. The day of, she was again so wonderful, going above and beyond her duties, running gifts back and forth between the bridesmaids and groomsmen in pouring rain. The day after the wedding, she hand delivered my bouquet to the flower preservation company, saving my mom a long trip. She is so wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend hiring Stephanie. She is truly a lifesaver and your wedding will be 100 times more magical for it.

Stephanie Roa: Stephanie made our wedding day completely stress-free - executing our vision perfectly so that we could enjoy the day! SG3 Events: The Schuyler is an impressive and versatile Luxury Event Venue in Washington DC perfect for large Weddings, Social Events, and Corporate Events. The main ballroom, mezzanine, and pre-function spaces are thoughtfully designed with modern furnishings, soaring columns, and integrated lighting. As a Wedding and Event Planner, I appreciate the ease of access to their event space from their clean and organized loading dock, which makes setup and breakdown more seamless for vendors; plus they have a full industrial kitchen which is a huge plus for catering. Their standard inventory of event rentals such as tables and chairs are elevated, modern, and neutral so that they can be easily incorporated into your decor. The sales team is also such a pleasure to work with! The Sales Director Kim Saleik is so kind and helpful, and very seasoned in the industry. She is very familiar with the venue and all it has to offer and works diligently to ensure your event is successful. She has been extremely helpful and vital to the planning of an Industry Event we are collaborating on and I cannot wait to work with her on future events and bring additional clients to the Schuyler!

They allow you to work with your choice of vendors, don't nickel and dime you for things like basic WiFi, and offer you everything (tables, chairs, china, silver, glassware, buffet equipment, decor, etc.) at no extra cost if you want!

Vinh and Alysia: Eddie and his team made our dreams come true. We got engaged in April 2020 - during COVID when everything was so uncertain. We had very specific tastes and after being together for 10 years - we knew that we wanted a wedding that really reflected who we are individually and as a couple. Eddie worked with us to achieve our industrial bohemian vision and remain within our budget. From landing us the PERFECT venue - Capital Turnaround; to a wonderful graphic designer, Max, who created a truly unique and cool invitation suite; to linking us with Spilled Milk, a catering company that merged our Cajun and Vietnamese cultures in a truly inventive way; to his quest to find us the perfect day-of coordinator in Trish — signing on with him is what made our wedding a fairytale. He helped to negotiate every contract. He made sure that our concerns were communicated and advocated on our behalf. His reputation in the industry was apparent in the respect that each of our vendors clearly had for him. He always had our backs and was honest with us. We went through a number of potential day-of-coordinators - not because of availability, but because as soon as Eddie saw that they wouldn’t be a good fit, he would immediately look for someone else. This could have been panic-inducing, but I wasn’t scared. He was always transparent with us and I trusted him. I knew if he thought a change needed to be made, it was for good reason. And Trish, who ultimately became our coordinator was perfect. She understood me immediately, came in with suggestions of ideas I didn’t even know I wanted! Her idea to mix lounge seating from the venue in as the ceremony seating truly made our wedding spectacular. I felt like I was getting married in an intimate ceremony in a living room. Seeing all of the little children piled on a giant ottoman over my husband’s shoulder is one of my best memories of that day. He helped us navigate through the overwhelming options; provided a planning tool that made everything from design, to tracking payments, to guest seating a breeze; helped to schedule all of our meetings with vendors (you would be surprised just how helpful this is - cutting down on preliminary email communications with vendors really reduces stress) and made sure that we were protected in every contract. This was particularly important when planning during the peak of COVID. We needed to be sure that if our wedding needed to be cancelled or postponed, that we wouldn’t lose out on money. He went over every proposal and contract to make sure that we were covered in case of disaster. He made us feel like we were his most important, if not his only client. After working with him for nearly 3 years - he truly feels like family. He got to know us as a couple and that definitely showed on our wedding day. If you’re looking for someone who will truly give you a personalized experience and help you to plan a wedding that truly represents who you are as a couple - work with Impact Collective. Nicole Herrmann: Eddie was fantastic to work with as our wedding coordinator. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with so much valuable guidance as we planned our big day. Taylor McCarty Hoover: We hired IMPACT Collective to assist with helping us find a rehearsal dinner space and for month-of coordination and I cannot recommend it enough. While I trust everyone at IMPACT Collective does incredible work, if you're lucky enough to be paired with Haley, you've REALLY hit the jackpot. She was an absolute rockstar when it came to anticipating my needs, executing everything to my standards without even needing to be asked, and handling the many different personalities that come with planning a wedding. As soon as I would think, "I need to remind Haley about this" or "I should ask Haley about that," I would realize almost instantly that the thing I had on my mind had already been taken care of. You can't put a price on peace of mind for your wedding day—IMPACT Collective is worth every penny. Thanks to Haley and the team, I was able to be fully present for every amazing second of my wedding day, and I can't thank them enough for that.

Marshall & Nikki: Eddie was a great wedding coordinator. He was by our side from start to beyond the finish line helping us with details big and small as we planned our wedding. He was always available to provide advice or guidance when dealing with vendors or other aspects of the wedding planning. The tools provided by Impact Collective to help plan the wedding were also incredibly valuable to keep you organized and on track towards the big day. Noel Domi: IMPACT Collective was the first wedding expense we made and easily one of the best. Eddie Fam and IMPACT worked their magic right off the bat and were able to negotiate down the proposals from venues. From there, we worked with Eddie and the other IMPACT associates to finalize the other wedding details. They’re well connected in DC so finding vendors was easy and we were able to finalize our vendor contracts within a few months. Eddie and his team were in constant contact with us for over a year and we scheduled a minimum of one call per month to ensure everything was timely, which it always. IMPACT was also extremely responsive and addressed our concerns at all hours of the day even for things that were not pressing. Eddie also handled all the matters in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding weekend, so we only handled minor details ourselves – which was already stressful so I couldn’t imagine having to do any more than that. The day of the wedding, he was incredibly helpful, coordinated all communications with the venue and vendors, and ensured everything ran timely and smoothly – it did. I highly recommend IMPACT for couples getting married and looking for a team that will really cater to you as a couple and work to make your wedding vision a reality.

Grant Johnson: We worked with IMPACT Collective for our wedding at Capital Turnaround. Eddie, Jana, and the whole team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail and flexibility helped us create exactly the wedding we wanted; at the same time, we never felt like anything was being pushed on us and always felt we had creative control to pursue our vision. Chandler Carr: We used Evoke to plan a large wedding in downtown DC and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jeannette, Wilson and team made the seemingly impossible task of planning a wedding during a pandemic the most stress-free and fun experience. The team was always available via text, email or phone call whenever we needed them. Our entire weekend, from arrival at the hotel to the farewell brunch, was intricately planned down to the minute and executed with precision. The vendors were some of the best in the business. It was absolutely perfect. Evoke is the most creative, hard-working and fun-loving team. Counting down the days until we work with them again!

Lauren Lee Favreau: Our Queen Maestro: Stephanie Economides & Evoke Team Any event is difficult to plan. A wedding is arguably the mother of all events. There are a million decisions to make, endless and easily overlooked details, countless moving parts that all need to follow a strict timeline, and then even with everything obsessively crafted into a plan, the execution requires a composed maestro to pull off seamlessly. Our maestro was Stephanie and she was perfection. Planning From the first phone meeting, to the first in person meeting, we knew we were in exceptional hands. I knew the colors, and a general theme. I hadn’t planned out every detail and cringed at the thought of creating a vision board, I just knew what I liked and didn’t like. I needed someone to present options to evoke the overall feel of what I wanted, without overwhelming me with catalogs of vague choices. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, I’m not in the entertainment industry or network, so I needed a guide to help direct me to what I loved. Timeline Stephanie was our second wedding coordinator, but she stepped in without missing a beat a few months into the process. She quickly established a new working timeline and kept us on track. Her communication was exceptional, with a ready response to any pressing question. She kept a well paced timeline that prevented and avoided any pitfalls. Vendors Part of what you get with Stephanie is not only an amazing, creative soul, but her connections. She introduced us to her top notch vendor list that encompassed every aspect of a wedding. This access could have been a double edged sword as the exceptional list also comes with sometimes exceptional additions to the budget line. However, we had already listed our priorities and our expected budget, and Stephanie expertly guided us to smartly spending where it had the most impact. We have continued to use her vendors for post wedding life events. The Budget The budget can be a significant source of consternation, but Stephanie made it feel easy. Part of the stress with the budget is the sudden appearance of unanticipated costs or the uncertainty of fixed costs. We started out without a line by line budget, with a range dedicated to each budget. It was updated frequently and made clear exactly what to expect. Stephanie readily rolled with our selections, and fostered a comfortable, unpressured climate during these potential high stress decisions. Stress Management Another one of Stephanie’s super powers is her kind, humble approach with her brides. She was ALWAYS there and picked up on any sign of becoming overwhelmed. My phone would ring and I would hear a supportive “Hey, how are you doing…”, and it always fizzled whatever anxiety was bubbling. She makes you laugh and brings you back to the moment of the true purpose of the day - marrying and celebrating your person. The Day Of Stephanie was a ninja genius, a ninjenius. In other words, she and her exceptional team were everywhere, yet invisible. One member of the team would scout the next 2 steps, while Stephanie would anticipate the next 4 steps while expertly handling the immediate event. There was seamless communication among the Evoke team as they worked in the shadows to facilitate every nuance of the day. One of the veteran bridesmaids of 15 weddings commented that it was the most seamless wedding they had been to. This was all due to Stephanie and Evoke’s expert direction. As a bride, I was free to be perfectly present in the moment, and engaged with all of our loved ones. We really wanted the wedding to be a thank you to all our friends and family for joining us for the occasion. Stephanie went above and beyond to make that wish a reality. Even as lengthy as this review is, there are a dozen things I haven’t mentioned that I could go on and on about. If you have the fortune of having Stephanie on your team, you won’t regret it.

Emily Rogo: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueEVOKE's team is absolutely the best! Jeannette basically read my mind when I was thinking of the setting/theme I wanted for my wedding. They managed to navigate everything through a pandemic and we couldn't have done it without them!!! Thank you for making my dreams come true!

Nancy Beren: We live in Houston, my daughter and her now husband were married in Washington, D.C. and the groom's family lives in Connecticut. My son and his now wife lived in New York when they got married in Maryland and the bride's family lives in Pennsylvania. My son was engaged and married four months after my daughter's wedding. Without Evoke's expertise, flexibility, contacts, can do spirit, vision of the possible, positive attitude, relaxed attitude yet more than professional performance, we never would have been able to have created two entirely different experiences in two different venues. Each wedding included an entire weekend and one began with a Thursday wedding and both ended on Sunday with guest lists from 325 - 425 and the vast majority out of towners. Nothing was too much and the moving parts were massive. The attention to detail was so impressive and I tend to be very detail oriented myself and Jodi Moraru and her staff were beyond the beyond. The only reason pictures are not included is because my children asked to keep them private. Evoke made a basement of a hotel into a magical outside garden filled with exquisite flowers and a sensational gold backdrop. And they turned everything over to avoid downtime so we could party, party, party. Anyone lucky enough to use their services will be able to enjoy their own celebration with full on joy that is what one really wants at one own's celebration as Evoke thinks of things, we did not even know to know to even consider! Cannot find enough superlatives to recommend Evoke highly enough.

Winnie Hahn: As someone who had never hosted a big event, I was quite anxious about my children’s bar and bat mitzvah party. But even after the first meeting with Jeannette, I knew that I was in the perfect hands. Jeannette understood exactly how to handle a client who was detail obsessed but also needed someone else to take the reins. Many thanks to Jeannette and the entire Evoke team for translating my family's wishlist into a beautifully orchestrated event that we will never forget.

Michael Connor: We have worked with the team at Evoke and their events are always the craziest (in a great way) over the top (in a GREAT way). The team just knows how to push what is possible to throw the most amazing events that people talk about forever. Can't say enough about how amazing and how thorough they are. As a photographer, I wish every planner could be this way.

Missy E.: Absolutely amazing!!! If you love Bridgerton this is a must!! From beginning to end your immersed in the Regency Era. The staff- and I mean everyone, was wonderful. They were all so nice and helpful with making sure you have the best time that you can. The photo ops were stunning and being able to see all the dresses and costumes from the show was grand! The cocktails were on point and prices were reasonable. My mom is disabled and let me just say that we were BLOWN AWAY at the kindness and care they showed her. It literally brought me to tears. One of the best times we have had! So well done and truly a one of a kind experience. If you have the chance, don't second guess it. Go and see why it's the talk of the ton!

Nino DeRosa: This event is so much fun!!! It is well thought out and a highly executed production. I give them so much credit for not just having amazing staff, musicians and performers but for also being able to instruct the whole party on different dances and gestures they wanted us to perform. If you love and follow the show you will find yourself traveling into the era of Bridgerton. If you just enjoy dressing up nice and being in a fun environment with others who are looking to have a great time this is definitely something you want to try. The staff from the second you line up for entry (bring license and proof of vaccination) are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The event is very organized and clean. It's a larger venue so you don't feel cramped and can move around easily. You have plenty of opportunities to see all the displays/sets, performances and take lots of pictures (keep flash off). Just take a minute to view the pics I posted and you will definitely want to experience it for yourself.

Purplelover 36: Dearest Readers, This night was soo magical. A lot of great picture opportunities. What a wonderful way to be immersed in the world of Bridgerton. The Lady Bridgerton drink was delicious! You have to try it. The Queens entrance was grand and I loved it. The ballroom dances were also amazing. My friends want to go now so looks like I will be returning soon. Any reason to dress up and have a great time.

Carolyn K: Great experience, horrible location. I understand they needed a large area to have the event in, but this is in one of the worst areas of dc. The event was fun. It has a ton of photo opportunities, and the actors did a lot to engage the crowd. The main couple actors were very realistic, and looked like the characters.

Katarina Vercelli: Had a great time with friends and loved the performances. Photo ops abound, but the night was sold out and lines were long enough that you couldn’t try everything before they nudged you into the ballroom and closed off the interactive space. I would gladly pay $5-10 more per ticket if they capped ticket sales at a lower number so lines for everything weren’t as crazy. Alternately, increase the time to interact first before performances started. This also would be good considering the venue is in the middle of nowhere in NE and can be tricky to get to considering DC commuting delays. Drinks, while good, were expensive. Especially considering you’re there for a while. A good first round of things for sure. I would love to see this programme run longer into summer if they made some updates.

Tommy Ricker: We got me VIP tickets to this event. We drove 5 hours for it and it was everything and more. The actors are amazing and everyone was so pleasant! They were very inviting and fun. The experience is amazing there is so much I do recommend getting there earlier than later to be able to experience each and every thing. Also eat before if hungry lol vip gets you a free glass of champagne and seats up in the stands as well as right away jump the line going in. Recommend!

Alicia Tate: I was transported back to 1813 during this 1.5 hours experience. I would do this again and again. I laughed and danced while drinking a deliciously strong drink. I wore an amazing dress I would never have had a chance to wear otherwise, and I heard lots of other patrons saying the same; the costumes are the best part. An absolute must experience.

Mina H: We had to postpone our wedding three times and at this point have toured every venue in the DC area. Meridian House is by FAR the best venue! It is magical by itself, before you introduce one flower or candle, yet can also be transformed for whatever vision you may have for your big day! The architecture, history, location, parking, indoor and outdoor area (omg the Loggia and the Linden Grove!!!!) is just perfect. But the thing that make it the best venue is Maria Canellis! She was so incredibly professional, prompt and creative in helping us plan a covid wedding! Our vendors needed an extra three days for set up so she was managing a ton of vendors but did it with such grace. Maria was always the first to give us the latest government guidelines and best practices for our wedding and super empathetic towards us as we have to pivot so many times. I think she could plan a country take-over by now with her skills! Maria is such a leader and you are in the best of hands if you have any event here! Thank you Meridian House for our dream wedding!!!!

Hampus Engstroem: Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure will love it I'm sure! Fantastic staff. Everything was top-notch, clean, and met our expectations. Our supposed room “upgrade” wasn’t really any upgrade, but nonetheless it was a good room. Breakfast was also great. About a five minute walk from the nearest Metro station which made it nice to get around. A longer walk, but we walked all the way down to the National Mall in about 40 minutes.

Mother Tucker: Location is good. Easy to locate. Front desk staff was rude and condescending during every interaction. Room was nice but nothing exciting. The doormen and the staff on our floor cleaning were all exceptionally pleasant. They are what earned the three stars. Also, if you want eye candy, stay at the same time as dignitaries so the place will be full of secret service. I felt very safe.

Katze Love: I've stayed here twice, only for a day or two each time. The lobby is beautiful and it's a cool location. Ritz is a strong brand, but since Covid it seems to have lost a little value. The club lounge has been closed for some time and the rooms could use an update. There are plenty of high-end hotel options around DC so for the price you pay here, you could also explore the St Regis or Four Seasons. Still a nice destination and good central location.

David Berman: The Ritz Carlton in Washington DC is one of the best hotels I have ever been to! The people who work there are so nice and welcoming. It is a hard place to not love. I personally loved my room. My room came with 2 bathrooms, A enclosed bedroom, and a bar area along with a dinner area. It was the height of luxury. The restaurant there was called the Quadrant. They had some of the best service I have ever had at a hotel restaurant. The food came in huge portions and looked spectacular. Tammy Trungadi: My first time at the Ritz Carlton! It was so beautiful and my stay was fabulous! Maggie, a member from the staff, was so kind to me. She personally brought me carafe of coffee to my room! I felt like a princess! Room was spacious, beautiful and everything you possibly could need for a restful and relaxing stay!

Candy Be: Stayed for 4 nights. Mo at the Concierge desk and John at the restaurant coordinated cocktails one night and dinner another night for our large group. Mirna with room service was so friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

onthegoboomer: We had a great stay here! The staff throughout the hotel were excellent at all times. We booked a room in the club lounge floor for access to the lounge which serves 5 times per day. We were told that this hotel did not automatically grant access to the club level just because you have that status from being a Marriott member and do receive at other Marriott properties. Here you have to pay. I am not sure if we would have received a complimentary upgrade to the club level but will check that out the next time. The club lounge was amazing and the staff could not do enough to ensure our comfort and happiness at all times. Fatiah, Nayana, and Beri were AMAZING and made our times in the lounge so enjoyable. They have breakfast, lunch, snacks, evening hors d'oeuvres, and dessert. Complimentary alcoholic beverages in addition to water juice and coffee/tea. The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The shower/bathroom is dated and the shower is small and the power of the water was a little overwhelming but we had a great visit and would stay here again and again.

Tyler Harris: Rooms were nice as well as the hotel staff. The whole ambience of the building was extremely pleasant especially the christmas decor. The food was just amazing. I got the hanger steak which was hands done the best flavored steak I've hand in my life. The only thing I didn't like was the admission fee for going to the pool which is just absurd seeing as how expensive the hotel is already.

Morgan Jaye: Lucy Black was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. The planning process was very organized and they really took the time to understand what we wanted and what our vision was for our wedding. The Lucy Black Lux Band was by far the best band I have seen. My guests cannot stop talking about it and said that it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. Frank Purcell: We were looking for incidental music to accompany an outdoor luncheon on the Alexandria waterfront following a small family wedding. Lauren advanced the venue and worked out all those important details. On the day of the event, the cellist and her manager were gracious and professional and on-time -- and simply perfect. The extra touch of professional, live music done beautifully made a memorable day unforgettable.

Mikayla Rose: This was our first time at a Michelin star restaurant and it was the most delicious and romantic dinner I’ve ever had. My husband and I went for my birthday dinner and it was so special. Our waiter, Ramsey, made the experience so personal and he was amazing! This was hands down the best service I’ve ever received at a restaurant from the moment we walked in until we left. Since it was my birthday, we were given a gift of a recipe and the ingredients we can make at home, as well as a raspberry tart with a candle! I’m incredibly impressed and will be returning. 10/10 recommend. Also, for the meal and service we received it was so worth the money and very reasonably price.

Jessie Castner: Amazing experience! All the food was delicious! We had 4 people and got one one of each dish. We were given a gift of the "Strawberry Spaghetti", which to be honest if I saw it on the menu I wouldn't order but it was one of the best dishes I had. My personal favorite was the Asian- Italian fusion spaghetti. My dessert was the Vietnamese Coffee Caramel Coconut Crumble Mochi Brown Butter Cake (I am in desperate need of this recipe, so good!). The service was amazing and all of the servers were so knowledgeable about what they were serving. It's definitely a great place to impress someone.

HK: Enjoyed all of the menus we ordered. Rose’s Luxury is a smart creative restaurant- not using any unheard or arcane ingredients or recipe, it effortlessly creates a new combination of tastes. The way it’s priced is hard to understand ($85 per person prefix for dinner regardless of what you order) and may make it relatively more expensive for some combination of dishes. Other than that, food and service was fantastic.

Kenny: Very nice dining experience. Only negative is the lack of ability to walk in. Orders: - soft shell crab: awesome combination of fried soft shell crab with lettuce wrap. Soft shell crab was fresh and well fried which is sometimes hard to find in the states. - steak and egg: unique presentation of tater tot in a 'race car' box. Steak is well cooked and seasoned simply. Nothing really special but this is how steak should be. - strawberry cake: good overall. Would prefer a more egg based cake. Sample: - movie theatre soup? : It was too salty. Not a big fan. Service was great overall. Would return when I'm in the area.

N -: It was my first time going to a Michelin star restaurant. The food is definitely unique, but not for people who like simple food. Not worth the price, despite its rating. The desserts are not adequately sized for a meal that big... Did not finish the dessert that served "2.9" people. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff. The upper level has a quaint dining space and the bathroom is very nice.

Andrea Bronstein: This was my first time at a Michelin star restaurant and it was an amazing experience. I booked the garden bar area mistakenly thinking it was just for the garden area in general and I’d have a table so I was disappointed when I was seated but it ended up being a great experience. Josh, the bartender, was really personable and knowledgeable and my fiancé and I really enjoyed chatting with him. The food was really good, especially the steak and eggs dish.

Ryan Montoya: This meal was incredible. The English pea cake was maybe the highlight for me and I can't believe how well it traveled and presented. All the instructions were crystal clear and we had fun putting the food together. We chose this menu as we were fasting but I am very curious to try the non vegetarian option in the future. My wife and I haven't been able to get out to restaurants so this option was amazing, but I really do hope someday to experience Rose in person. Absolutely incredible service, from the responsiveness to my request to have the food delivered early (we were traveling that day) to the very friendly, accommodating and personal service of the delivery person (my wife didn't know it was a surprise, mistakenly sent the delivery person away to my work, and the delivery person followed up and realized my wife's error and still delivered the food!). I really can't ask for better service, and it makes this restaurant a true standout among our experiences dining during the pandemic.

Megan Martinez: We loved Rose’s Luxury! Our waiter was extremely nice. The whole staff was super friendly. We got to try 6 dishes since we were a party of three. The lychee salad is a must. The cabbage and chicken were also extremely delicious. We got two deserts and a single coffee French press. They brought us a special tart for my sister since it was her birthday! At the end I was so touched to get a gift at the end of the meal which was a pasta and spice set to make at home!

波。真秀ᶘ oᴥoᶅ: We reserved a table two weeks in advance, because we know how popular this place is. We enjoyed the refreshing change to casual comfort food, compared with our previous experience of haute-cuisine in Michelin star restaurants. Our server, Dominic, was very friendly and attentive. My wife's favorite dish was Seth's Fancy Fish Camp, while I liked the Cacio e Pepe Souffle. The Steak and Eggs was perfectly cooked, medium-rare, and the sidecar was a fun addition. At the beginning of the meal, we were served freshly baked madeleines, which are the best we have had in the USA.

Carolyn Zacharias: I came in nervously as a solo dinner and ate at the bar - I was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming staff - from the host to each server explaining the dishes. John and Harley at the bar took excellent care of me through the creation of delicious drinks and perfect recommendations for food. I had the lychee and pork salad which at first glance seemed like a creation of mismatched ingredients, it was both refreshing and hearty. In addition I tried the leek pasta and the soy glazed chicken, both dishes I highly recommend as they are both comforting and creative!

HAROLD B: Nice spot for events but hard to find if you never been and theres no building number. Parking is easier to find after 6pm but you'll have to take a walk...better to uber or lfyt.

Fluff Dapoof: They over priced the drink which is one thing but then they water the hell down their liquor just unfair. Bartenders were willing to listen until later we got a very friendly bar tender and we ordered all of the drink from him. I wouldn’t suggest their toquilla shots it’s watered down and they don’t have shot glasses. The place was hard to find if you got off In the street there is no signs leading to the bar.

kayhon R. R.: the greatest bar/lounge in the Georgetown area, sophisticated, trendy and superb atmosphere. Allie is the fastest and most able of bartenders. She might even have a PhD in mixology and believe me her cocktails are of out of this world.

M B Delissaint: Nice place tucked away in G'town. Very modern & streamlined on the inside. I would give 5 stars but, the back bar service was slow & the bartender seemed to be a novice. She kept calling someone else over to make classic drinks. I did not try the food but, it looked & smelled delicious.

Joseph Newman: Lazy at best, please stay away. They have the rudest bartenders and unprofessional managers working here. The only people presentable here are the bouncers. The drink list is basic at best, no inspiration what so ever. The beer list is rather odd, and mostly bitter. The bathrooms are dark, unkept, and unsafe. There are better lounges in DC and Georgetown that works to earn your money. Lazy at best.

Emma Lieberman: Rudest manager ever. She was the most condescending awful person Ive met in DC. The drinks were bland, and the ambience not at all what I would expect of the high class club experience L2 claims to be. This was my first and last time at this establishment. Dont waste your money.

Kristy Brad: My parents hosted our engagement party at L2 and couldn’t have been happier with how the night went. The food and drinks were delicious and our guests raved about the hors d’oeuvres. The ambiance was very unique, yet intimate. The prices were actually incredibly reasonable and they provided us with a CD of lounge music free of charge and helped us with the acoustics when we needed a microphone. We had a blast and it was the perfect way to kick off our engagement!

Lori Rossi: Profiled my daughter and a friend who were drinking water, yanked the water out of her hand while she was drinking because the bartender gave the wrong color straw. Questioned her VA ID and then tried to give her a wristband for over 21, and she had to tell the lady she was 20 after all that examination. She stalked them on the dance floor, and even followed them to the bathroom, where she told the friend to stop washing her hands. This ruined a Georgetown University event for my daughter-her director even intervened when the ID was questioned. When speaking to the manager she made it seem like a joke and accused them of drinking alcohol. My daughter told her to test them because it would be negative. The manager then said she'd admonish the employee. I don't think she will and we''ll make sure to tell the university not to give them business. I was proud of these young women for remaining calm and reapectful despite the harsh and unnecessary negative treatment.

Lina Chovil: Fun bar, but they over charged my cc for $159.00 on purose. Mind you the bill had been split in 4 parts. Some paid cash. Guess the bar tenders must of stolen the cash.. Do not use your cc there at all!!

Cadie Steele: This place is magnificent! From the atmosphere to the drinks, these people know what they are doing. My husband and I were in town from Houston, TX and our Uber driver highly suggested this lounge to us. We loved Hicham and he suggested a very tasty martini that was European based. It doesn't have a name and isnt on the menu but I would highly suggest it to everyone. If he's there just tell him you want the "Cadie". I obviously tried to get him to name it after me. Anywho, I hope you enjoy this lounge as much as my husband and I did!
