Le Creuset Clearance Store: what do users think?

A. Taylor: This was my first visit and purchase at Le Creuset and I was not disappointed. The staff at the Oxon Hill location provided awesome customer service from the time we walked in. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all products, and were patient as we browsed the store. The prices are excellent (various 40%-50% off items throughout the store, not certain if this is because it's close to Christmas or not). I purchased a 5qt dutch oven, and several cooking utensils for less than $200.00. The store even has a small clearance section. I will definitely return to the Oxon Hill location of Le Creuset clearance store. Thank you for providing exceptional customer service!
Response: Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re so glad you enjoyed your first visit to our store and found some great products! We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Alex Barajas: The staff are nice. The products are REDICULOUSLY overpriced. Almost $400 for a Dutch oven is absurd. I understand the cookware is supposed to be very nice, but not this expensive...especially at an outlet mall. Save your money and buy your cookware elsewhere.

Amara Conteh: After reading several lackluster reviews, I was concerned that the prices wouldn't be that great BUT I was wrong. I don't know if it was due to their holiday sale or if these are their usual prices but I picked up a 9.5 qt oval dutch oven for $250. This oven is currently $450 at Sur la Table. I've been looking at Le Creuset dutch ovens for about a year and was prepared to pay $360 (on sale!) for a 5.5 qt online. The sales people were friendly and helpful and took proper COVID precautions. SO happy with my purchase.
Response: Hi Amara, thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed shopping in our store as we navigate through these unprecedented times. We look forward to your next visit to our store!

Valeria: This is my happy place! I like the people and Le Creuset merchandise at this location. Inventory varies.
Response: Thank you for leaving a review, Valeria! We are glad to hear that you love our store and we look forward to your next visit.

Douglas Gotel: Ms. Debra is the salesperson to see at this location. She is so knowledgeable about the product and took extra care of us today and even allowed us to pull up to the loading area so that we would not have to carry the heavy cookware through the mall. This was our first purchase of LeCruset and It could not have been a better experience.
Response: Hi Douglas, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed your first visit to our store! We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Leslie T: So happy I accidently happened upon this outlet while browsing the Le Creuset website -- I had no idea there was a location so close by! The store is full of beautiful items and you won't find a better price anywhere else. The sales associates were very helpful and patient while I made a decision on an item that will be given as a graduation gift to my niece. I will absolutely return to purchase more!
Response: Hi Leslie, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We’re glad you enjoyed the service you received during your visit and are happy with your purchase for your niece! We hope to see you back soon!

Chenoa Bailey: Super rude associate answered the phone when I called to ask about shipping. I’ve never experienced that kind of sub par customer service at a le creuset location. Truly disappointed. Never again.
Response: Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear this and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please know that we have shared your feedback with upper management.

Anum Mian: I stumbled in here just because I was bored and was waiting for my Le Creuset I ordered from Crate and Barrel to show up. I ended up finding a 9 quart matte white Round dutch oven for 207!! A 7.25 dutch oven at Crate and Barrel was for 400!! Seriously incredible score!! I also got a gorgeous yellow tea kettle for 45, I think these usually go for 75-100. I’m not sure if I just got incredibly lucky or if this store has amazing finds like this on the regular. Nonetheless, I’ll definitely be returning. The staff was wonderful and helped walk me through my decision. All COVID procedures are being followed, and they’re allowing only 5 people in the store at a time. Great store, will return for sure!
Response: Wow Anum, thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We’re glad you enjoyed your visit to the store and are happy with your purchases. We hope to see you back soon!

Carlos Arias: My wife and I have felt very uncomfortable with the attitude of the manager Marielle, who as soon as we entered the store was watching us like a policeman, we just wanted to return something and she told us that we had to call customer service, I guess the store does not want to deal With that, she apologized in a very fake way, her expressions said something else, my wife felt very uncomfortable and we had to leave, very different from the treatment we had when we were shopping there.
Response: Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with a sales associate at our store. We are sorry to hear of your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please know that we take your concerns very seriously and have shared your feedback with upper management.

Eric Eastman: The outlet store in Leesburg has better deals and customer service. It seems like nothing at this store is anymore than a few dollars off than what you can buy off the Le Creuset website. There can be a sign in front of the product for 20%, and they still will not give you the deal, even if the sign does not specify select items. Why go to the outlets if it isn't at least off 20% retail price?

Best Kitchen Supply: what do users think?

J. Colton Thompson: Literally the first place I'll go to supply things for my home kitchen. You'll pay twice as much at Walmart for something that's close but not exactly what you want. I'm constantly thrilled with what I can get here.

Sebastian: As a home cook, their collection of goods is very extensive, and very well priced. Cheaper than Amazon and much more fun! Don't buy any amount of kitchenware until you check here first. I got a large carbon steel pan for under $20 here among many other things. Everything I've bought feels like it will last ages, and stand up to heavy duty use. They have many little things that are $5-10, or even less. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, especially the Latino man working there :), whose name unfortunately eludes me.

Kye Lippold: Great selection of kitchen items, and very helpful staff.

Gregory Moran: They have every kitchen appliance and utensil in every size that you can imagine. Good quality, and convenient for restaurants to buy in bulk, but not necessarily all the style options for a home decor kitchen. Don't come here if you are easily tempted by kitchen gadgets, because you'll always find things that you didn't know you needed.

Greg Herring: I'm worried I'm ruining my own spot by writing this review, but this is possibly the best kitchen supply store I've ever encountered. The owners are present and hands-on everyday, they know their selection like the back of their hands. Product quality and pricing are both phenomenal, I can't recommend it enough. This is the kind of place where professional chefs shop but the public also has access to durable, high quality, professional grade equipment at prices that make the chefs' businesses viable.

Allison Lau: Usually find everything and anything I need that is kitchen related. Some great set of knives here. An assortment of glassware available for wholesale or individual purchase. Found some tools I needed to make ginger beer as well (cheesecloth, funnel, no homebrew jars though). One of my favorite places in DC

Michelle Everett: Thank God for this spot. It's in my neighborhood and as a Personal Chef I'm there all the time. Great customer service.

Austin Graff: Best Kitchen Supply is a hidden gem within the OG Union Market area. With a small sign, it's easy to miss. That combined with people wondering if it's open for regular cooks, it's hard to find. However, don't miss out on the best deal on kitchen supplies in the city. When you walk inside, there are rows and rows of every supply you can imagine in a restaurant or home kitchen from salt holders to trays to knives. They have a row of dishware and table clothes too. The prices are so cheap too. My housemate bought an oyster shucker recently for under $3.

Brian Christopher: Best Kitchen Supply is the best. A one stop shop for all your culinary needs. Super friendly owner and staff. If you can't find it there it probably doesn't exist. I love this place

Kordan Joie: this is my happy place the gave excellent supplies and the best kitchen selection. you could find everything here for an awesome discounted price . Must check it out in person .

Hill's Kitchen: what do users think?

Jessica McNutt: I love, love, love, love, love this shop. When I visit, I feel like family. The staff is wonderful, and knowledgeable and amazingly friendly and supportive. What's more, they sell high quality and unique products. This is the only place I'll ever go for all my kitchen needs. If you haven't had a chance to visit Hill's, you are missing out.

Katharine Dixon: Today we bought a Chef's knife. Great store with a nicely curated selection of all things kitchen. Very very much appreciated expertise and help in choosing the knife.

Felicia Adkins: What a great little store. It may look small from the outside but they have a lot of very good quality items in there. And surprisingly fun kitchen finds like state shaped epicurean cutting boards and capital shaped cookie cutters knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you with suggestions. Everything from spices and seasonings to pans and quality knives. What a fantastic local business!

Sam Odle: Excellent selection of kitchen related goods for how small it is. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re looking for something or need a gift.

J Haus: I love this store!! They have pretty much anything you could need as a home cook. They have a great selection of cookbooks, too. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

Barbara Bonessa: Leah Daniels is very helpful and knowledgeable, and has a wonderful shop filled with all things kitchen.

Gabriel Charles Tyler: I’m still relatively new to the DMV area, so I’m always excited to explore new neighborhoods and shops. My friend raves about Hill’s Kitchen, and now I know why! It’s a small space, but it’s quaint and is filled with so many kitchen and household items that you probably wouldn’t find anywhere else. On top of that, the staff members at Hill’s Kitchen exude positivity. And they’re always willing to help you find just the item you’re looking for. For example, all I knew was that I needed a cutting board that I saw at a friend’s house with a “m” on it. The team member who jumped in to assist me immediately knew what I was talking about and she made the cutting board appear like magic. She even went as far to explain to me the price differences. I’m so impressed with the selection and the quality of service! This shop will definitely be at the top of my list from now on.

Meredith Purser: Great store! Leah is always friendly and helpful, and she keeps her store stocked with all the basic (and many not-so-basic) kitchen needs and seasonal desires.

dipika: Hill's Kitchen seems to be an important store to the local community, and I love that the owners are friendly with people in the neighborhood! They carry a wide range of products that make me super excited to decorate my kitchen. I'm so glad this place exists, and just wish some of the staple items were a bit less expensive.

Sarah Snoots: Awesome, awesome, awesome experience from start to finish. Leah is so knowledgeable about every single item in her store and was exceptionally patient while I figured out what type of knives I was looking for. Her expertise and clear explanations helped me really narrow down my options. I look forward to purchasing more cookware in the future because I know —without a doubt— that I can ask Leah and get straight answers. She had all of them! Additionally, she took numerous COVID precautions, including requiring masks covering the nose and mouth of all customers, limiting the number of customers to four (not four “groups” ie households, but four people— full stop.), maintaining an appropriate distance, and ensuring each customer used hand sanitizer upon entering. Highly recommend a trip Hill’s Kitchen for anyone who spends time in a kitchen or home. So. Anyone reading this! Check it out.

Williams-Sonoma: what do users think?

Michelle: friendly staff :) helped me get the best cleaning supplies for my machine

Robyn Porter: Wow! A+ service. Back story: I’m not a “gadget girl” but one of my BFFs sang the praises of Williams~Sonoma’s Beville pizza maker. This afternoon I popped into WS a snapped up the pizza maker and a couple jars of sauce, then stopped by Harris Teeter for some pizza toppings. Dinner was going to be delicious! When I got home I immediately opened the pizza maker box only to discover complete horror! The pizza maker had been used...and by used I mean food crusted in the corners, a burnt pizza stone and an interior top that was black as soot. Yikes! Of course I immediately called WS and told them the situation. The store clerks were profusely apologetic, so much so one of them left the store to bring me another pizza maker! That’s first rate service! Not only did the clerk show up with another apology and the pizza maker, she gave me a book of delicious pizza recipes. They made a bad situation better without the blink of an eye. A class act and superior customer service!

Javier Gonzalez: I just wanted to give a shout-out on an awesome time I had in the store. I came into the store to buy some seasoning. There was a lovely lady who greeted me and gave me recommendations on which were the best to use for the chicken dinner I was planning to surprise my girlfriend with. She also took the time to answer questions about kitchen knife maintenance I had. Thank you Jennifer for your help.

Jordan Toellner: This was an excellent experience! We went to get a new set of all-clad cookware and had the pleasure of working with Jill to find exactly what we needed. Her honesty and recommendations were greatly appreciated and spot on! If you need to buy anything from W-S, go to this location and ask for Jill :)

Shakia Asamoah: I've been to this store 2x and both times, I've received poor and/or rude service. The first time there, I was followed around while white customers were left alone to browse. I was so upset that I left without purchasing any of the things I'd come there for. The second time I visited was to pick up an online order. Even though I had received an alert to pick up my item, the staff chastised me for arriving too early and told me they're making an exception in giving me my item that I had paid for. If your system tells customers their items are ready for pickup, you do not get to be rude to the customers because they arrived "early". I am not to blame for a system glitch. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this store again.

Amanda Sexson: Picking Williams Sonoma was easy-I love their stuff! I am very sorry to say we have had such a horrible experience. They are very unorganized (not this store, but the company in general) and I would caution anyone registering here. We have many many issues. The biggest ones around returning items. After our showers, we ended up with multiple of the same item (it's gonna happen!) and brought them to the store to return for store credit. The first time we did it they refunded the person who gifted it to us!! How embarrassing! And then they refused to give us any credit!! So basically, embarrassed us to our guest and we didn't get our wedding gift. We contacted HQ and submitted a complaint and they said there was nothing they could do. We definitely would have liked AT LEAST credit for the expensive item we returned, or an apology! We got neither. Other issues involved my fiance (who is listed on our registry as co-registrant) unable to return or make any transactions. They inconsistently deny him and last time he tried to return an item for store credit, they told him they couldn't give him the gift card, but would mail it to me (to the address listed on his drivers license as well) It made no sense, but the worst part was the gift card never arrived. It has been over two months, we've called and they said there's nothing they can do and that it got lost in the mail. So overall, after sending all 200+ guests to their store, you'd think they'd treat us a little better. Instead we've actually lost quite a bit of present value. We're seriously considering switching our registry before the wedding. If it wasn't so much work, we would have done it already.

Marie Zurie: Rude employee. Take your money elsewhere.

Anna Kelly: The customer service experience was so bad in this store on more than one occasion, I decided to simply not shop there for household items. I stocked my kitchen with things from other stores (was new to the area). Then recently I went in to make a large purchase and I was pleasantly surprised by a very nice and helpful person. When I returned the next day to purchase one more small item, it was back to being ignored again; it seems as though the customers at this store irritate the people who work there! I've rarely experienced a store wide issue like this!

Vishal Sinha: This is a good location for Williams-Sonoma - right in the heart of Bethesda shopping district. Ample county parking available nearby. The street gets busy and the store is busy too. Tight spaces around the store - but that is expected at a location like this. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. They do provide good recommendations and opinions on products - very educative! They have the regular products and also quite a few of the Williams-Sonoma only products (much before other stores). Overall good location for Williams-Sonoma :)

Will Prinn: Very rude staff. I approached the counter for some help, and all three associates were talking among themselves. I was unacknowledged. Unsure if they saw me, I moved closer to them. All three made eye contact with me and then went back to what they were doing. I waved at them, and again all three looked at me and then went back to what they were doing. I understand being busy at work, but why not say hello? Very unprofessional. I was helped eventually, but I will certainly not be returning to this store.

Crate & Barrel: what do users think?

Mary T.: Helpful customer service, and wonderful selection. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Would come back! Only negative was one employee, possibly a manager, Lisa. The associate checking us out asked her for help, she came over obviously annoyed with him then ignored us standing directly in front of her. This male associate was kind, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us. It bothered me that she would treat him this way, especially in front of customers. Maybe she was having a day or was exhausted but it was off putting.

Noah Merlin: Here is why you should never buy a piece of furniture that is "In Stock" at Crate & Barrel again: - My wife and I were looking for two swivel chairs in stock, so we could get them relatively soon and not wait the insane lead times that all new furniture has right now. - We went to Crate & Barrel on 12/24/21: Our sales rep at Crate & Barrel told us our two Drew Swivel chairs were both in stock (~$1,900 total for the two). - We decided to purchase the two chairs on the basis they were in stock. We were told they would be delivered in two weeks (two weeks from 12/24 is 1/7/22). - On 1/5 we received an email that they were being delayed and would be delivered in mid January. We called the store because we thought it was odd that items that are in stock in the warehouse could be delivered. When calling in, we were told that the items actually were not in stock. They offered us a $150 gift card once the item was delivered to make up for it. I did not accept, but they weren't willing to do anything else. - Every two weeks our item was delayed longer, and we were sent an email saying the items would be delivered two weeks later. - This morning, on 2/22/22, we received an email, stating the delivery would be in early March. It has been delayed for two months now, when we had a two-week lead time. So I sent an email to customer support, stating that I would like a 50% refund. Instead of reaching out to me, they emailed me to let me know my order has been cancelled and I have been provided a refund. I have now waited since 12/24/21 (two months) since the order. I have no swivel chairs. I have no order. I now need to begin the search for chairs all over again. I called support at the store, they said they couldn't do anything and I needed to contact corporate. I contacted corporate, and Elaine tried to explain to me that it was my fault for not reading the receipt and that it didn't matter what the sales rep said to deceive my wife and myself into buying these chairs which never came. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE. Crate & Barrel has now admitted to me several times that they have an inventory system bug that makes it so they do not know when an item is in stock or not. This could be true, or they might use it as an excuse for predatory business practices, intentionally misleading consumers into making purchases they may not otherwise. If it is true, they do not account for their errors and expect the consumer to pay for it instead. Goodbye Crate & Barrel forever.
Response: On behalf of all of us at Crate and Barrel, please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced with your recent purchase. It is helpful for us to know when our service has fallen short so we can strive to improve our customers’ experience and we appreciate the time you have taken to write to us and share this feedback. We regret that we were not able to provide you with the positive purchasing experience that we wish for all of our customers. If you could reach out privately at 202-364-6100 with the order number, it will help us address your concerns. We hope we will be able to better meet your expectations in the future. -Cassie

Nikolas G: This is a great location with incredibly friendly staff. The design team is always happy to help and the sales team are helpful and available without being pushy or too present. Good selection, very well organized, beautiful layout.

Leo Sheridan: Liz D. came to my rescue when a 3rd party courier service lost a Christmas present! I can't say enough about how professional she was throughout the entire dramatic ordeal. Liz honestly saved Christmas. I've been a customer of Crate for quite some time. I even worked for the company many moons ago. I was astounded by how swiftly Liz handled everything, and she did it during THE MOST busiest time of year!

Jennifer Lee: Very nice community type center for shopping Crate and Barrel is great some nice restaurants and parking if you want to pay for it. It is near American University so you see lots of students around and lots of pedestrians. It's right off Massachusetts avenue so it is bus accessible only as far as public transportation.

Vishal Sinha: This is another good location for Crate and Barrel. The only negative shopping here is the scant parking options. Once you are in the store, the experience is worth the parking issue. The store is laid out well making shopping a good experience. It's hard not to buy more than what we had in mind! The staff is friendly and always ready to help answer any questions. The selection at that store is quite good and we like the products sold here. Or kitchen is stocked with many of the essentials from Crate and Barrel!

Tommy Tang: Very nice and east pickup experience! The stuffs are so nice!

Mohammed Audi: Great quality, just downright horrendous service. We bought all of our furniture across 6 months and it's all really sturdy, high end and elegant. They've done a great job in modern design. If follow-up services mean anything to you, such as eventually replacing sofa cushions, you need to find another place. Any form of follow up requires months of chasing down, pleading and disappointment.

Ardavan Tookaloo: Very modern and beautiful. I like this place a lot. You will never walk out empty handed.

Aysenur Melek: We had an awful experience here. Arlington deserves better. Keep your business to better places. They make people feel as if the stuff in the store is more valuable than them.

Sur La Table: what do users think?

Y Ws: I tried the cooking classes with my boyfiend and would not recommend to any friend. Where do I start? The dessert option was ice cream, which is very impractical to learn. The chef recommended an ice cream machine but honestly, who wants to keep one of those in the house when it's much more practical to buy ice cream. I would have liked to learn something more hands on. Also, the price per person was about $70!!! Ridiculous given that not each pairing of people had their own prep material. Each group gets a pairing of a cutting board and a knife and an apron. Fine, but I wanted a lesson that was more hands on instead of learning to cook with 4 other strangers. I mean, I didn't want to peel garlic and pick parsley. I also should have had my own food processor and had my own cooking materials. None of the students were allowed to touch or marinate the flank stake, which doesn't even make sense to me. The setup of the class wasn't fun and if it were $45/person it would be justifiable but +$70 not worth it at all. In addition, the chef lacked charisma and it was difficult to hear him over the din of the kitchen. Maybe he knew some technical aspects of cooking but for my partner who was an amateur in the kitchen, he didn't break things down well enough. Also, his attitude was quite apathetic and not what I expected in a cooking class. This was supposed to be fun but it turned into a drag. I would not recommend to anyone and would not go again. I wish I had saved my money and bought the material and watched YouTube instead.

Susan Null: Thank you for the wonderful macaron class. The chef was amazing with stories to tell from all the best restaurants in the nation. The directions were clear and our group worked together well. The macarons were delicious and I have confidence that we can do it at home. Thanks!!

Dave Yoon: Save your money. $75 is too much to spend to feel hungry, confused, and disappointed. We really wanted to love this experience. It sounded like a wonderful opportunity to learn how to cook something special - from the conceptualization to the ingredient prepping. Maybe it was the cooking class that we attended (South American Steak Night), but my fiance and I left feeling like we hadn't learned how to really cook anything. The steak marinade was pre-made and was prepared for the most pary by the staff. The chef called up only one participant to make the shareable ice cream and salsa leaving the rest of the class standing around doing nothing. We left somewhat confused, a bit ripped off, and definitely hungry. I did a quick scan of the room after the evening and the other participants all remarked how they were planning to get dinner afterwards because they were all hungry. The class is $75 a person so you'd think that the very least, they'd give you enough food to not be starving afterwards. The whole class felt like a giant marketing ploy for Sur La Table. The chef took every opportunity to promote the appliances that we were using. Participants receive a 10% discount on everything in store while the class is going on. Even though we didnt buy anything, that was really the only great thing about that evening.

Amy Stein: This Sur La Table is a nice size with a large selection of items. They also offer cooking classes. It is close to a parking lot so if you are going for a class parking is close and convenient. However, I cannot say that the staff was welcoming or friendly.

TD MLIBERTY: Scanpan is the best cookware you can purchase. The Alexandria store has extremely nice staff. I travel from Manassas Va to come to this store. Sales are great.

Thomas Campbell: Awful. My wife bought a so-called aluminum pie shield, made in Taiwan, on October 19 or 20. We tried it out for the first time now and it left the crust covered with flakes of silver paint. (See the attached photographs.) I wrote a longer review of the product (CRU 302083) on the Sur La Table website, but I suspect they won't post it. So I'm writing here. You need to remove this product from your shelves, because it's a health hazard.

Julie Hawk (Jewls): They have absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for your kitchen! The selection is enormous and they have reasonably priced items! The staff is knowledgeable about the products and are willing to take the time to talk with you and make sure that you are making the right purchase! If your shopping for someone and you don't know what to get them you can't go wrong with kitchen items! They get two thumbs up in my book!

Jessenia Merced: Too expensive for what it was. On Date night, there are 8 couples and you share cooking materials with another couple. So your partner, you and a random couple will share tasks in order to make the meal. The amount of food served was minimal. We paid $158 for 4 oz of steak between me and my husband and we didn't even got to cook our own steak, because the other couple did it. You are out in two hours. We will never got back. Waisted our time.

Theresa Milavec: The staff member helped me purchase my items and even let me leave it there for 15 minutes while we ran another quick errand down the street. My only complaint is that it appeared that I was the only one in the store so maybe acknowledge people a little faster. I was standing in the same area, with my 2 yr old for what felt like 10 minutes, prior to the good service.

Farrah Barton: Incredible selection of kitchen goods. The staff was very nice and helpful, and even walked me through a special order I had to make online for something they didn't currently have in stock. It is still a bit pricey, but expected for quality goods. Everything I've purchased here has lasted me a very long time.

Williams-Sonoma: what do users think?

SugarD09: I came in just to browse and found a new/honeycomb set that caught my eye. Claire (I believe her name was) was amazingly helpful in helping me locate the items from the set, even going around the store to find items that hadn’t been put out yet (the collection is new). I didn’t feel pressured to buy everything she suggested and she helped me find a couple of great pieces to build out a bar cart for my husband. Great experience! Claire is the best 💕

Sheritta W. Taylor: I'm still in disbelief! Went to WS yesterday afternoon to pickup a few kitchen staples. We were immediately greeted by a store associate who was obviously very sick- evidenced by her incessant, wet cough. In an effort to avoid her, and because we know the layout of the store very well, we declined her assistance. She was standing at the front of the store, but you could hear her hacking all the way in the back. To make matters worse, she came by to "check on us." While still coughing and covering her mouth with her hands, she proceeded to pick up various merchandise to show us. PURELY DISGUSTING!!! We quickly took our item to the cashier, leaving behind the things that we actually came in for (they had been contaminated by the sick associate). While we were in line, this sick woman is again hovering near customers coughing away into her hands. No stopping to wipe or sanitize her hands. She then has the audacity to try and wrap and bag our merchandise with her nasty, wet, contaminated hands! NO WAY! My husband immediately grabbed another bottle of olive oil, we demanded that another store associate ring up the charge, paid and immediately left. I cannot believe this woman was allowed to remain at work. This is a disgrace and a hazard to customer health. Will not be returning.

M Boone: I like this store a lot. It is well laid out, very clean, and extremely organized. Not only does it look great, but so are the people. Brenda, who runs it, is patient, friendly, and very much willing to be a constant liaison with customer service. She helped me get a broken pizza replaced twice with a smile :)

Justin Alexander: Best place I've found for high end cooking in kitchen goods. I was under the impression I can order online and pick-up in-store however this location along with many others our closed.... which is understandable

Rick M: Great selection of small, counter appliances, especially espresso machines. Plenty of peppermint bark for the holidays, too! They have the best selection of kitchen utensils. Conversely, they have a very limited number of flatware and dishware on hand. Very helpful sales associates as well.

Alexandra Mininger: While the service representative was friendly, and the store beautiful, after asking for my present to be wrapped… This is what was delivered. I'm embarrassed for the store and disappointed that this type of gift wrapping is considered acceptable.

Shannon M: Great customer service experience - the staff wasn’t able to fully resolve my issue but they went above and beyond in trying to.

Claudia LaFreniere: The store is beautiful and the area offers many high end shops. However, my experience at this store was poor due to issues with their system. It took over 40 minutes to do a simple return. They also only had two open registers and the checkout line wrapped around the store. This caused bottlenecks throughout to the point where people outside were waiting in line to be able to get inside the store. They need to think more about improving their checkout process. There is no good reason to have only two open registers on a busy weekend right before the holidays - even with COVID. The cashier lady was wonderful, however. She was very patient, though I could tell she was a little stressed over the fact that the system was acting up and nobody at the store was able to provide her any useful assistance. She ended up having to call customer service and they ended up doing the transaction on their end. To make matters worse, I realized days later that the refunded amount was incorrect. They forgot to factor in the taxes! It has been a hassle getting this resolved with customer service after the fact.

George Zoto: One of the best stores and user friendly employees! Supporting a good cause puts them in the best place to visit category!

Goht VanDenBrink: I’ve been buying products at this store for years. The receipt says it must be “new condition.” I recently brought back an item that I tried it once and it hurt my hand when I used it. The store manager refused to refund the return stating that they only take back new items that never been used Period. The return policy is intentionally deceptive. None of their sellers ever told me about this. You lost a customer in me for life. Too bad.

ABW Appliances Clearance Outlet: what do users think?

Gwynne Young: The whole experience with ABW was five stars! No pressure sales when we walked into the showroom yet super helpful salesperson willing to answer all of our questions. And the delivery guys were stellar! They removed the old fridge and put in the new one in just a few short minutes!! Our kitchen is super small and they maneuvered in and out with speed and agility! Very happy with ABW!!
Response: Good morning Gwynne, Thank you for your kind words! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your shopping experience and that the delivery team surpassed your expectations! Please let us know if there is anything else you need. Have a great day, Stacey Renee

June Taylor: The delivery team from ABW appliances was fantastic. They arrived within the expected time frame, even after starting off with a flat tire. They took care to not damage my new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, set up my Miele washer and dryer, leveled and tested them for proper performance, gave me a brief demonstration, and were very courteous. I also want to say how helpful Betty Burciaga in sales was by answering questions I had about the appliances and helping me with the ordering process. She arranged for a Google meet during which the laundry site was inspected for measurements to be sure things would fit and the electrical outlets would work. During the 5 month waiting period for the Covid delayed appliances to arrive I got regular updates on their ETA. I couldn’t be happier about my experience with ABW Appliances.
Response: Hi June, This is what we strive for at ABW! It's great to hear how the delivery team were careful, communicative, and even took the time to demonstrate your appliance. Betty is the best! I'm glad she could answer all your questions and assist with ordering your Miele laundry set. Please do not hesitate to reach out. Enjoy! Best, Rebecca Toro

David G: Not a good experience. We were told that a particular product was available at the factory outlet store so we went over to take a look at it. When we got there we discovered it was a scratch and dent item; we were interested in new only. We had no idea that scratch and dent items were offered at their outlet or we would have asked before we went. And, it behooves the people working at the outlet when they mention a product's availability to say the condition of the item BEFORE the customer arrives. It was a total waste of time. On a positive note, the people who work there are very nice. I hope they take note of this with future customers.
Response: Hi David, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback about your experience. Like many dealer outlets, ours is stocked with floor displays, demo models, returns, and discontinued models. Some of those do have aesthetic damage and are priced accordingly. I'm so sorry to hear this wasn't communicated clearly before your visit, and we will take this into account in the future. We're always seeking to improve, and feedback like yours helps us to serve our clients better. Please let us know if there is anything else you need, and we will do our best to assist. Sincerely, Stacey Renee

Randy Hollstein: We are so impressed with the entire ABW purchasing and delivery experience! This really couldn't be easier, from online ordering, coordinating delivery when ABW called to set it up, and then delivery. The delivery team, Alex and his colleague, were friendly and professional, they unpacked the appliance and took away the packing material. I would give the ABW Team a score of 10 but we're limited to just 5 stars... I know where we will be purchasing ALL our appliances in the future - ABW!
Response: Wow, thank you for the kind words, Randy! We appreciate your business and that you've taken the time to rate and review us. We look forward to helping you with any future appliance needs you may have. Have a great day, Stacey Renee

Tabitha Bailey: Great service and very friendly installation crew. They had to work to find our water shut off because the one under the sink was inoperable and they did so without complaint. I would highly recommend ABW. We purchased all of our appliances from them 14 years ago and will continue to replace as necessary with them.
Response: Good morning Tabitha, We're happy to have you back as a repeat client! Thank you for choosing ABW and for taking the time to rate and review us. We hope you enjoy your new appliances, and we're here for you if you need any assistance. Sincerely, Stacey Renee

Terry Rubenstein: From the call to Cummins now ABW order handled on line with salesman Aaron. Delivery and installation went perfectly and took very little time . New units in my Fathers apartment are great ! They have a great bot system to keep u informed of installers route . Great job!
Response: Thank you Terry! We are happy to hear your experience with ABW went smoothly. We hope your father enjoys his new appliances. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any future needs! Sincerely, Stacey Renee

Robin Clarke: Paco was wonderful; was able to take care of the problem immediately .He was also a really nice person !
Response: Good evening Robin, and thank you for the 5-star review! I'm thrilled to hear about your positive experience with our tech, Paco. He definitely has a fan club. :-) Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else we can do. With gratitude, Stacey Renee

Spencer Davis: I scheduled service with ABW to resolve an error with my washer. They charged me $155 to come out I said ok. The tech came out looked at the machine and called Samsung. Then he told me either the tub was warped or my dampers were warn out. He charged me and left. He was at my house for 15 min. He did not reproduce the error. He did not look at the dampers. He did not show me where my tub was warped. All he did was make a phone call. I called them to see how much it would cost to fix it they couldn’t give me a price yet. I complained and they said they would send a senior tech out to confirm that is what is actually wrong. The way I see it is that I paid for them to make a phone call. Which I could have done or they could have done before they even got to my house. Note I still don’t know what is wrong. Is my tub warped? Are my dampers warn out? Or is it something else? Update: Senior tech came back and was able to provide a much more thorough look at my washer.
Response: UPDATE @2:15 PM: I've been informed that a follow-up service call has been scheduled for Monday. We look forward to making this right for you. Stacey Renee Hi Spencer, I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. What you describe does not match the level of service we strive to provide. I have alerted our Client Relations Manager and you should be hearing from them soon. Sincerely, Stacey Renee

Margaret Jylkka: The ABW crew of three arrived around early evening and absolutely crushed/exceeded any current standard of customer service there is! They had to hook up the steam dryer to a water source and that required finding some extra parts( hoses?) They rigged the dryer door to open toward the washer😍 They tested both devices. You know the entire ABW experience from COVID safe showroom appointment to electronic notices ( loved the video visit prior to install to assure that delivery / install would go smoothly)has been a mirror of tonight: professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Please spread this as far as you can in your company. Thank you. Sincerely, Marge Jylkka
Response: Good morning, Marge! We are so flattered and grateful for your thoughtful feedback. Thank you for letting us wow you. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything you need, and enjoy your appliances! Happy Holidays, Stacey Renee

Karen Telis: Such knowledgeable and careful installers! They made sure everything was perfect before leaving. They took time with a tricky and uneven floor and made the dishwasher fit beautifully into the old space. Polite , cleaned up everything. A+ experience.
Response: Dear Karen, Wonderful to hear! Thank you for letting us know about your happy experience with our install team. We strive to be A+ and are thrilled you agree. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else we can help you with. Best, Stacey Renee
