Le Creuset Clearance Store: what do users think?

Valeria: This is my happy place! I like the people and Le Creuset merchandise at this location. Inventory varies.

Douglas Gotel: Ms. Debra is the salesperson to see at this location. She is so knowledgeable about the product and took extra care of us today and even allowed us to pull up to the loading area so that we would not have to carry the heavy cookware through the mall. This was our first purchase of LeCruset and It could not have been a better experience.

Anum Mian: I stumbled in here just because I was bored and was waiting for my Le Creuset I ordered from Crate and Barrel to show up. I ended up finding a 9 quart matte white Round dutch oven for 207!! A 7.25 dutch oven at Crate and Barrel was for 400!! Seriously incredible score!! I also got a gorgeous yellow tea kettle for 45, I think these usually go for 75-100. I’m not sure if I just got incredibly lucky or if this store has amazing finds like this on the regular. Nonetheless, I’ll definitely be returning. The staff was wonderful and helped walk me through my decision. All COVID procedures are being followed, and they’re allowing only 5 people in the store at a time. Great store, will return for sure!

Hill's Kitchen: what do users think?

Felicia Adkins: What a great little store. It may look small from the outside but they have a lot of very good quality items in there. And surprisingly fun kitchen finds like state shaped epicurean cutting boards and capital shaped cookie cutters knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you with suggestions. Everything from spices and seasonings to pans and quality knives. What a fantastic local business!

Sam Odle: Excellent selection of kitchen related goods for how small it is. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re looking for something or need a gift.

J Haus: I love this store!! They have pretty much anything you could need as a home cook. They have a great selection of cookbooks, too. The staff are super helpful and friendly.

Barbara Bonessa: Leah Daniels is very helpful and knowledgeable, and has a wonderful shop filled with all things kitchen.

Gabriel Charles Tyler: I’m still relatively new to the DMV area, so I’m always excited to explore new neighborhoods and shops. My friend raves about Hill’s Kitchen, and now I know why! It’s a small space, but it’s quaint and is filled with so many kitchen and household items that you probably wouldn’t find anywhere else. On top of that, the staff members at Hill’s Kitchen exude positivity. And they’re always willing to help you find just the item you’re looking for. For example, all I knew was that I needed a cutting board that I saw at a friend’s house with a “m” on it. The team member who jumped in to assist me immediately knew what I was talking about and she made the cutting board appear like magic. She even went as far to explain to me the price differences. I’m so impressed with the selection and the quality of service! This shop will definitely be at the top of my list from now on.

Meredith Purser: Great store! Leah is always friendly and helpful, and she keeps her store stocked with all the basic (and many not-so-basic) kitchen needs and seasonal desires.

Sarah Snoots: Awesome, awesome, awesome experience from start to finish. Leah is so knowledgeable about every single item in her store and was exceptionally patient while I figured out what type of knives I was looking for. Her expertise and clear explanations helped me really narrow down my options. I look forward to purchasing more cookware in the future because I know —without a doubt— that I can ask Leah and get straight answers. She had all of them! Additionally, she took numerous COVID precautions, including requiring masks covering the nose and mouth of all customers, limiting the number of customers to four (not four “groups” ie households, but four people— full stop.), maintaining an appropriate distance, and ensuring each customer used hand sanitizer upon entering. Highly recommend a trip Hill’s Kitchen for anyone who spends time in a kitchen or home. So. Anyone reading this! Check it out.

Williams-Sonoma: what do users think?

Michelle: friendly staff :) helped me get the best cleaning supplies for my machine

Robyn Porter: Wow! A+ service. Back story: I’m not a “gadget girl” but one of my BFFs sang the praises of Williams~Sonoma’s Beville pizza maker. This afternoon I popped into WS a snapped up the pizza maker and a couple jars of sauce, then stopped by Harris Teeter for some pizza toppings. Dinner was going to be delicious! When I got home I immediately opened the pizza maker box only to discover complete horror! The pizza maker had been used...and by used I mean food crusted in the corners, a burnt pizza stone and an interior top that was black as soot. Yikes! Of course I immediately called WS and told them the situation. The store clerks were profusely apologetic, so much so one of them left the store to bring me another pizza maker! That’s first rate service! Not only did the clerk show up with another apology and the pizza maker, she gave me a book of delicious pizza recipes. They made a bad situation better without the blink of an eye. A class act and superior customer service!

Javier Gonzalez: I just wanted to give a shout-out on an awesome time I had in the store. I came into the store to buy some seasoning. There was a lovely lady who greeted me and gave me recommendations on which were the best to use for the chicken dinner I was planning to surprise my girlfriend with. She also took the time to answer questions about kitchen knife maintenance I had. Thank you Jennifer for your help.

Jordan Toellner: This was an excellent experience! We went to get a new set of all-clad cookware and had the pleasure of working with Jill to find exactly what we needed. Her honesty and recommendations were greatly appreciated and spot on! If you need to buy anything from W-S, go to this location and ask for Jill :)

Vishal Sinha: This is a good location for Williams-Sonoma - right in the heart of Bethesda shopping district. Ample county parking available nearby. The street gets busy and the store is busy too. Tight spaces around the store - but that is expected at a location like this. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. They do provide good recommendations and opinions on products - very educative! They have the regular products and also quite a few of the Williams-Sonoma only products (much before other stores). Overall good location for Williams-Sonoma :)

Crate & Barrel: what do users think?

Mary T.: Helpful customer service, and wonderful selection. A very enjoyable shopping experience. Would come back! Only negative was one employee, possibly a manager, Lisa. The associate checking us out asked her for help, she came over obviously annoyed with him then ignored us standing directly in front of her. This male associate was kind, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to help us. It bothered me that she would treat him this way, especially in front of customers. Maybe she was having a day or was exhausted but it was off putting.

Nikolas G: This is a great location with incredibly friendly staff. The design team is always happy to help and the sales team are helpful and available without being pushy or too present. Good selection, very well organized, beautiful layout.

Tommy Tang: Very nice and east pickup experience! The stuffs are so nice!

Ardavan Tookaloo: Very modern and beautiful. I like this place a lot. You will never walk out empty handed.

Sur La Table: what do users think?

Susan Null: Thank you for the wonderful macaron class. The chef was amazing with stories to tell from all the best restaurants in the nation. The directions were clear and our group worked together well. The macarons were delicious and I have confidence that we can do it at home. Thanks!!

Amy Stein: This Sur La Table is a nice size with a large selection of items. They also offer cooking classes. It is close to a parking lot so if you are going for a class parking is close and convenient. However, I cannot say that the staff was welcoming or friendly.

TD MLIBERTY: Scanpan is the best cookware you can purchase. The Alexandria store has extremely nice staff. I travel from Manassas Va to come to this store. Sales are great.

Theresa Milavec: The staff member helped me purchase my items and even let me leave it there for 15 minutes while we ran another quick errand down the street. My only complaint is that it appeared that I was the only one in the store so maybe acknowledge people a little faster. I was standing in the same area, with my 2 yr old for what felt like 10 minutes, prior to the good service.

Williams-Sonoma: what do users think?

SugarD09: I came in just to browse and found a new/honeycomb set that caught my eye. Claire (I believe her name was) was amazingly helpful in helping me locate the items from the set, even going around the store to find items that hadn’t been put out yet (the collection is new). I didn’t feel pressured to buy everything she suggested and she helped me find a couple of great pieces to build out a bar cart for my husband. Great experience! Claire is the best 💕

M Boone: I like this store a lot. It is well laid out, very clean, and extremely organized. Not only does it look great, but so are the people. Brenda, who runs it, is patient, friendly, and very much willing to be a constant liaison with customer service. She helped me get a broken pizza replaced twice with a smile :)

Rick M: Great selection of small, counter appliances, especially espresso machines. Plenty of peppermint bark for the holidays, too! They have the best selection of kitchen utensils. Conversely, they have a very limited number of flatware and dishware on hand. Very helpful sales associates as well.

Shannon M: Great customer service experience - the staff wasn’t able to fully resolve my issue but they went above and beyond in trying to.

George Zoto: One of the best stores and user friendly employees! Supporting a good cause puts them in the best place to visit category!

ABW Appliances Clearance Outlet: what do users think?

Gwynne Young: The whole experience with ABW was five stars! No pressure sales when we walked into the showroom yet super helpful salesperson willing to answer all of our questions. And the delivery guys were stellar! They removed the old fridge and put in the new one in just a few short minutes!! Our kitchen is super small and they maneuvered in and out with speed and agility! Very happy with ABW!!

June Taylor: The delivery team from ABW appliances was fantastic. They arrived within the expected time frame, even after starting off with a flat tire. They took care to not damage my new Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring, set up my Miele washer and dryer, leveled and tested them for proper performance, gave me a brief demonstration, and were very courteous. I also want to say how helpful Betty Burciaga in sales was by answering questions I had about the appliances and helping me with the ordering process. She arranged for a Google meet during which the laundry site was inspected for measurements to be sure things would fit and the electrical outlets would work. During the 5 month waiting period for the Covid delayed appliances to arrive I got regular updates on their ETA. I couldn’t be happier about my experience with ABW Appliances.

Tabitha Bailey: Great service and very friendly installation crew. They had to work to find our water shut off because the one under the sink was inoperable and they did so without complaint. I would highly recommend ABW. We purchased all of our appliances from them 14 years ago and will continue to replace as necessary with them.

Terry Rubenstein: From the call to Cummins now ABW order handled on line with salesman Aaron. Delivery and installation went perfectly and took very little time . New units in my Fathers apartment are great ! They have a great bot system to keep u informed of installers route . Great job!

Robin Clarke: Paco was wonderful; was able to take care of the problem immediately .He was also a really nice person !

Spencer Davis: I scheduled service with ABW to resolve an error with my washer. They charged me $155 to come out I said ok. The tech came out looked at the machine and called Samsung. Then he told me either the tub was warped or my dampers were warn out. He charged me and left. He was at my house for 15 min. He did not reproduce the error. He did not look at the dampers. He did not show me where my tub was warped. All he did was make a phone call. I called them to see how much it would cost to fix it they couldn’t give me a price yet. I complained and they said they would send a senior tech out to confirm that is what is actually wrong. The way I see it is that I paid for them to make a phone call. Which I could have done or they could have done before they even got to my house. Note I still don’t know what is wrong. Is my tub warped? Are my dampers warn out? Or is it something else? Update: Senior tech came back and was able to provide a much more thorough look at my washer.

Margaret Jylkka: The ABW crew of three arrived around early evening and absolutely crushed/exceeded any current standard of customer service there is! They had to hook up the steam dryer to a water source and that required finding some extra parts( hoses?) They rigged the dryer door to open toward the washer😍 They tested both devices. You know the entire ABW experience from COVID safe showroom appointment to electronic notices ( loved the video visit prior to install to assure that delivery / install would go smoothly)has been a mirror of tonight: professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Please spread this as far as you can in your company. Thank you. Sincerely, Marge Jylkka

Karen Telis: Such knowledgeable and careful installers! They made sure everything was perfect before leaving. They took time with a tricky and uneven floor and made the dishwasher fit beautifully into the old space. Polite , cleaned up everything. A+ experience.
