JewelryClassDC: what do users think?

Amy Ruddle: JewelryClass DC has been one of the best experiences of my life! I am a jewelry maker with a small business and was looking for a way to improve my skill set to expand my offerings. Dan gave me a tour of the amazing studio, and I took his introductory class to get started. I quickly realized I wanted to do the extended study program, and that has been extremely satisfying. In the six months I’ve been working at the studio, I’ve seen my skill set grow exponentially, and I’ve now found a community of jewelers and goldsmiths who are a constant source of support and creativity. Dan continues to be available any time I have a question about a project, and he is constantly doing demonstrations of new techniques and styles. Truly an invaluable experience for any level of jeweler.

Vincent: I have been taking classes here since May 2021. The studio is very well equipped, and I always feel as though I am learning the correct way to perform any given task. The classes are challenging and sometimes I get frustrated, but I always walk away knowing that I have learned something new and created a quality piece of jewelry. Even in the frustrating times, Dan is more than willing to spend one-on-one time with students to ensure they are completing the assignments correctly. Aside from group classes, I also worked with Dan to design and fabricate an engagement ring for my fiancé. This experience was great! We were both on the same page with what we wanted to achieve. Dan was very patient throughout and made sure that we made the perfect ring for my fiancé (who also takes classes from Dan). This time was invaluable to me and the development of my skillset. -Great teacher -Great equipment -Great people

Kim Hay: Best in DC for jewelry making classes. Thirty benches, wide array of tools, methods, metals and settings. Dan is way helpful to all students in his classes!
Response: Thanks! You are a good student!

Marjorie Resnick-Waxman: JewelryClass Dc is truly a standout artists studio housed in idyllic Capitol Hill DC. It is a school run by master goldsmith Daniel Valencia. He offers workshops, classes of all levels, private sessions and these amazingly unique wedding band workshops where engaged couples can design and then forge their own meaningful masterpieces (under Daniel's watchful eye). I have witnessed many of these workshops and can honestly say there is no better way to enter into the contract of marriage than by designing your own ring. I started taking beginning workshops in August of 2019. I came with zero experience, only excitement. I quickly fell in love with the silversmithing process and signed up for the professional level extended program which is around 10 months. During that time, Daniel and his staff of exceptional teachers are there to support and guide you. You have your own bench and supplies for the contracted time (extended only) and can attend any workshop and class that is offered. If you come in for classes or workshops, you are also given tools and a bench to work with - all materials are supplied. Extended students even get to go to NYC with Dan and Laura (another wonderful Goldsmith) and connect with stone dealers in the Jewelry district. Phenomenal experience. The plus of being a student is you can come in and pay for extra bench time to work on your craft. The hours of the studio are pretty great - it's almost always open. It's an unbelievable opportunity to learn a trade in the most professional way. In fact, the studio itself is exceptional. Daniel has stocked the space with every tool you could ever want or need and he allows students to use them once they are taught the proper way. Nobody has to share their personal tools. He even has a computer screen over his teaching bench so you could watch his hands during demonstrations. When you enter the space, you are met by the coolest graffiti hallway of sayings by past and present students. The vibe is exactly what you want from a professional artists studio in the heart of a blooming community. I was able to even start my own small business selling jewelry since January. Daniel and crew have been incredible in helping me find my path and support my journey. I couldn't recommend this school or Daniel Valencia enough. Daniel is super fun and masterful. Whether you want to try a Metals 1 class to just try it or learn a trade from the very best - I suggest you come to JewelryClassDC.
Response: Thank you for the great review!

Monica K: Hands down, this is the best place to go if you want to learn how to make jewelry as a hobbyist or if you would like to turn it into a successful career. I walked into Dan's studio two years ago, thinking I was going to take one Metals I class and move on with my personal endeavors. I fell in love with the place, signed up for Metals II, and then for the extended study/ semi private study program. I was assigned to my own workbench, that was well equipped with more than what an average student would typically have (thus expanding my knowledge even more). I also received plenty of personal instruction from Dan, as well as Laura (his amazing assistant), and exchanged creative ideas/ concepts with the other students as well. The extended study program is also great, because Dan invites the students to New York City to personally meet some of the oldest and top diamond/gemstone sellers, cutters and manufacturers in the industry. This was an invaluable experience, because I established relationships with other professionals in the industry. I started out not knowing anything about creating jewelry from metal. Now I know how to create beautiful pieces of my own, and I have gained the skills and confidence to explore a career path in the jewelry industry. I have learned the correct techniques and processes of jewelry fabrication that will always ensure my final project to be nothing less than professional quality. There are also various workshops throughout the year that cover topics from flush setting, soldering, jewelry repair and etching just to list a few. Oh and let's not forget the set up and decor of the studio! Not only is Dan's studio well equipped with the most up to date machinery and tools, he also has an an array of vintage anvils and metalsmithing tools for display and some for usage. There is every tool available to get whatever task you need completed. He also uses his space to host gem sales throughout the year as well. Dan's sense of his creativity, wit and humor makes your learning experience even more enjoyable. I no longer reside in D.C., but whenever I visit, Jewelry Class D.C.'s studio is one of my second homes :)
Response: Thank you for your wonderful review Monica, we all miss you greatly and hope your London adventure is going fabulously. Dan

Stephanie Wong: I personally recommend Jewelryclassdc if you are interested in fabricating jewelry in precious metals, regardless if you are a beginner wanting to learn the creative skill or a practitioner wanting to hone your skill – you will agree with me that there is always something new to learn in jewelry fabrication! Dan Valencia and his assistants are highly experienced and encouraging, key to grow and sustain interest in a skill that requires long hours of practice. I was a beginner in metalsmithing when I started Metal l classes 2 years ago. After only a few classes, I was hooked on creating and making beautiful Sterling Silver pieces with gemstones – yes, all the pieces you create and make in class are in Sterling Silver! I took a few Metal ll classes and intensive workshops in soldering, flush setting and etching, before I enrolled for the Extended Study program that allows more days, flexible hours and private instructions at the studio. I was assigned a fully-equipped individual work bench and have access to a wide array of tools available at the studio. Jewelryclassdc is very well equipped with tools, acquired for professional and personal reasons, ranging from the latest laser welding machine to century-old antique anvils, hammers and punches. It is such a joy using the mix of high-tech and traditional tools to create the beautiful jewelry pieces. During my extended study program, I worked with Dan to design and create my own jewelry collection. I must say I have improved immensely from where I started, from having only vague ideas of what I wanted to create to realizing them into gorgeous pieces. Dan also organizes field trips to New York City once a semester for all extended study students to meet with the jewelry industry players such as gems/diamonds manufacturers and dealers – a valuable engagement especially for those wanting to build a viable jewelry making business.
Response: Thank you for the wonderful review Stephanie, you are already missed. Good luck in Singapore!!!

Charlie Held: I took the introduction to jewelry making class and it was amazing! I made three great sterling rings, copper practice ring, and a sterling bracelet and I have no experience. It was worth every penny. It will make a great Christmas or birthday gift. Just make sure you don't do what I did, "I think her rings stop about here, maybe"
Response: Thanks for the great review Charlie, great working with you too.

David Lee: Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, ValueDan the Man! I went into this class thinking why? Now I know why. From day 1 Dan helped me every step of the way. The value you get from the classes is unmatched from any jewelry school I’ve researched on the east coast. I’m now taking metals II and love every second of it.

Alexandra M: Dan is an excellent teacher. I started taking classes last May and kept signing up every session. Dan is very generous with his knowledge and expertise and genuinely wants his students to learn. He not only teaches the skills of metalsmithing but advises his students on many other aspects of the jewelry world such as how to purchase stones, tools and equipment. The studio is in excellent condition and we only use high quality tools. Dan's attention to detail is incredible and the classes and workshops are organized and executed so well. It feels easy, comfortable and welcoming to be there. I have taken a class with Emily as well, who is also a natural teacher and very generous with her expertise. Jewelryclassdc is a great place for short term students too. The Metals 1 class is very satisfying because you make and take home several beautiful pieces. However, I intend to be a long term student with Dan, Emily and Laura because they are genuine teachers that put a hell of a lot of effort into their students and have created an exceptional space.
Response: What a wonderful review. Thank you

Diane Millar: I just finished the Metals I intensive class and it was GREAT! I knew nothing about metal work at all, and I finished 3 rings, 2 pairs of earrings, and a bracelet. The materials we used were all of the highest quality - so all of the end products look very professional. The whole studio is really well-equipped and the class size small - so you can get lots of help, while learning the right way to do things. Dan and Emily were both great teachers - taking us step by step and answering any/all questions as we went. I really enjoyed the creative challenge of each process. Highly recommended if you want to learn how to make high quality, professional jewelry. Many thanks!
Response: Thank you for the kind words Diane, you were great fun to work with! Dan

Wear Ever Jewelry: what do users think?

Raluca Bucur: I love Jen's classes. She has a really well equipped studio and every time I'm struggling to do something, she introduces me to a tool that can do it in half the time and I learn something new. She's about helping you make what you envisioned, rather than making you feel bad for not using the perfect technique. She also shows you how to fix something you've messed up. I always look forward to her class - it's the highlight of my week.
Response: Thank you for your kind words! You're fearless–keep it up!

Lindsey Dinneen: My husband and I took a couple's ring-making class together, and had a wonderful time learning how to crate embossed silver bands. The instructors were welcoming, kind, patient, and thoroughly explained each step so that we felt ready to take it when our time came. We embossed, cut, annealed, bent, soldered, and polished our rings. What a fun and unique date night!
Response: We are glad you enjoyed the workshop!

Ronak Patel: I highly recommend visiting Wear Ever! It’s in a great area with plenty of things to do. In addition, the couple’s jewelry making class is super fun and the rings you leave with are really nice. It is a bit pricey but not unreasonable given the equipment you have access to and what you leave with. I didn’t get a chance to check out the jewelry they have to offer but I definitely plan on going back.
Response: I am very glad you joined the class and enjoyed it!

Danaya “Pie” Chusuwan: Took couple's ring making class and it was wonderful. The ring is Sterling Silver with copper mixed. There are 3 design pattern for you to choose and you have the option to oxidize the ring. You gain the first hand experience on how ring band are made.
Response: It was a pleasure meeting you and I'm glad you enjoyed the class!

Janet Lipscomb: Thankful to have found Wear Ever Jewelry. Jennifer is a creative and calm teacher. If you want to learn how to make jewelry, the classes here are great!
Response: Thank you, Jan! I applaud your methodical approach to the work. You are a great example to me and to those around you.

Caryn Wagner: I bought a gorgeous ring during the sidewalk sale for a great discount. Like all the pieces at Wear Ever, it is one of a kind, distinctive, well-made and surprisingly affordable. The owner, who designed and made the ring, sized it for me for free, which given what a deal I was getting, I thought was awesome. If you haven't stopped in to check out their designs, you should do so the next time you are on King Street!
Response: Thank you, Caryn, for your support. It was nice meeting you and Charlotte. I'm glad that you love the ring!

Vlad Kovalevski: We did a ring making class at the studio and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Beth and Jennifer, who teach the class, are true professionals and excellent teacher - they will walk you through every step and provide help, if needed, to make sure you leave with the ring that looks good and can be wearable every day. Highly recommend!
Response: Very happy you enjoyed the workshop!

Dawn Young: Loved it! Jennifer is an excellent instructor. Looking forward to the next class.
Response: Thanks so much, Dawn! Love your out-of-the-box projects.

David Sweatt: My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary by doing the couple's ring making class here. Not only was the class fun and informative, the instructors were very friendly, welcoming, kind, and made the experience really fun. 10/10 recommend!
Response: Thank you for your kind words, David.

Jennifer Jiggetts: Wear Ever Jewelry truly is a gem in the DMV area. Their ring making course proved to be the perfect date night for my girlfriend and I. It exceeded expectations and the instructor was extremely knowledgeable about metal-smithing. We needed no experience to participate in the course. Wear Ever followed COVID-19 precautions so we felt safe. They even offered Oreos during the three-hour course! What a great bonding experience for couples!
Response: Thanks for your kind words! We really enjoy teaching the class and are so glad we got to meet you.

Tiny Jewel Box: what do users think?

Luke Penella: Absolutely terrible place to shop!!! Stay so far away from this business. I was ready to buy a $7k IWC watch of my dreams. I’ve been looking for this model forever..I had the cash in my pocket. I got a phone call at the store confirmed by the client I just made a huge business deal!!!! I just found out I made over 1 million $ from an artist from the the night before. Of course i was a bit excited. They didn’t like my energy and had security escort me out?!!?! If you find yourself in this joke of a business find the sales person George he was fantastic!!! I’d give this place negative stars if possible. I’m in the music business. I’m a nice kind human being. This is first review I’ve ever wrote. I came back later in the afternoon to buy the watch as it is my dream piece but the only sales person George that had a soul was at lunch so they lost a 7k sale.. please don’t shop at this horrible place

Shahin Yousefzadeh: I’ve always felt a sense of warm welcoming here from the first moment I visited a few months ago. From the man greeting me to my right when I first walk in, to Brian the most helpful and kind person that guided me through my experience, and to Matt the owner who makes you feel like he just welcomed you to his own home. The quality of service and attention to detail working with Brian is beyond what my expectations were. This has to be the first and only place to come when seeking to purchase jewelry, watches, or gifts to build memories with loved ones.

P B: I understand the current watch market and luxury goods market - there are waitlists and backlogs of orders, I get it. My experience with TJB was bad enough for me to spend the time to write a review. I tried to purchase a Rose Gold Rolex watch from this store and knew I would have to wait several months but was told no waiting and instead I needed to “purchase other low desirable items first” to “build a relationship with them”. I don’t think that’s how Rolex wants it’s retailers selling their watches, forcing customers to buy other brands first. I was offered an ugly undesirable Patek and told I had to buy it if I wanted any chance at my Rose Gold Rolex. I of course passed. Liljenquest & Beckstead (further away) did not do this with me and added me to their waitlist and sold me a different Rolex model without requiring me to buy anything else from them. Stay away from TJB and their unprofessional greedy sales tactics.

Adam: Fantastic experience from each employee I have met there. But more specifically, my wife and had a wonderful shopping experience with Brian Ehteshami when we tried on and later purchased a Rolex. From the time we first visited to when the GMT became available, Brian displayed professionalism, an excellent sense of humor, and set realistic expectations for a brand in high demand world-wide. I have confidently recommended and will continue to recommend TJB to others for their great service, extensive selection of Swiss watches, and high quality jewelry.

Robin Arteaga: tl;dr: I recently visited Tiny Jewel Box (TBJ) to try on a few Rolex exhibition references. While I left empty-handed, I had a great experience with the help of Brian Ehteshami. Review: I've been searching for a Rolex Oyster Perpetual in black dial (ref. 126000) since right before the Rolex market took a sharp turn due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I've contacted nearly every AD in the DMV for assistance in acquiring this specific model. While a handful of ADs responded to my inquiries, Brian Ehteshami was the only one that (1) called me back, (2) exchanged emails with me, and (3) invited me to visit their store to try on their exhibition watches. I had a great time trying on an OP, Datejust, and Explorer at TJB. Brian answered all my questions without issue, and his professionalism and friendly demeanor made my first visit to an AD an enjoyable experience. I look forward to giving my business to TJB in the (hopefully very) near future!

Tulane Grad: This used to be my favorite watch and gifts retailer. I've spent more on gifts than watches! They stopped selling and servicing TAG Heuer watches (because of too many competitors? 27 or so??) and too casually referred me to another jeweler in Arlington with less than stellar reviews. So where to take my three TAG watches now that all need batteries? All have more sentimental value than $ value. What brand will Tiny Jewel Box discontinue next? I had new batteries installed in three other less expensive watches none the less. Picked them up on January 7th. The battery in the Shinola watch has already died in less than one month!!! One less person shopping in downtown DC...imagine that...I will miss you, George.

Lauren Secor: I cannot recommend Tiny Jewel Box enough to my friends, family, and colleagues. Be it 'thinking-of-you' gift or a significant piece to bookmark a great achievement, look no further than TJB. I have made several purchases here; from (my favorite) Alex Sepkus pieces to a very special gift, my experience shopping here has never been anything less than stellar. Particularly; I want to thank Brian E. for his professional and courteous customer service- it's bar none. I worked with him to source an in-demand piece that was not only an awesome gift, but also incredibly meaningful. Brian made it happen. I would also be remiss to not mention Monette C. who is wonderful! I feel like I am treated like family when I am in store, and am always greeted warmly. TJB will forever be my go to jewelry store no matter where we live, and I feel the loyalty is reciprocal.

Jeff Mccarthy: What a great experience here today. Both Monette and Jorge were amazing and I highly recommend them. Thanks so much!

Kwadwo Tuffour: I had an excellent experience of purchasing my first rolex thanks to Pouriya and everyone else at Tiny Jewel Box. Great people that are dedicated to helping their customer, so I look forward to going back here and I dont hesitate to recommend friends whenever they ask me.

John Fritz: I'm a watch collector with a few high end pieces and have never been treated more rudely. Once they stop carrying a brand good luck getting any semblance of service for it (Tag, Longines, etc). They outright lied about the volume of Rolex models coming in and out of the store blaming the AD list. Insisted that any inspection or modification of a watch (including band sizing and validation of authenticity) would be a full service charge of several hundred dollars when other ADs do it as a complimentary service. Just avoid overall and go to the Tourneau in pentagon city.

Corcoran School of the Arts & Design at GW: what do users think?

Hilda Kroll: The current exhibit has some very interesting photos, paintings, and sculpture. It would have helped so much to have some information about the pieces.

Austin Graff: The Corcoran School of the Arts and Design is in the old Corcoran Museum flanking the Executive Building by the White House. It's centrally located in Washington, D.C and a beautiful space. It's in an old building set up like a museum making the school's art shows out of this world. There are spiraling staircases, courtyards and room after room of beautifully designed art. If you get invited to an event here, say yes!

Gigi G.: Attended a graduate open house and learn a lot about the program and met some staff of other programs and they were fabulous to hear from.

Yesica Suarez: Architecturally, the buildong is awe inspiring. I think it really captures your eyes. The exhibitions for the Lone Prairie, Breaking Cultural Boundaries, Cartoons and the Color exhibitions were interesting. They definitely were trying to tell a meaningful story. I think the cartoon exhibit was successfully set up, but the others needed more content and guidance to trully unfold. There's ton of space to work with in the building so it needed to be used effectively so it wouldn't feel empty

Luis B: Corcoran School is mainly focused on promoting the arts. Friends of mine who have attended the college have had both good and bad things to say based on their experiences. One of the pros of the school is the events and gallery showings that often take place within it's walls. If you're a DC native, or city walker, you may want to check up on Corcoran and see what's going on from time to time.

Asad Jan: The Corcoran Gallery of Art was an art museum in Washington, D.C. Prior to its closing, it was one of the oldest privately supported cultural institutions in the United States capital. Starting in 1890, a museum school, later known as the Corcoran College of Art + Design, co-existed with the gallery. The museum's main focus was American art. In 2014, after decades of financial problems, the Corcoran entered into an agreement with the National Gallery of Art (NGA) and the George Washington University whereby almost all of the gallery's 17,000 work collection was placed under the care of the NGA, while the school and historic 17th street gallery building continued operations as a part of the George Washington University's new Corcoran School of the Arts and Design.

Yaser AlSaghrji: One of the architectural gems of the Nation Capital

Es K: Saw a phenomenal end of year exhibit some years ago

Nik Novakkain: So much talent and this is one of the best schools/museum

Arnold Thomas Bigger: Course selection is very good; faculty and staff are very good; and general vibe is good.

Tiffany & Co.: what do users think?

Fuad Al-Aali: I totally disagree with the previous reviews. Outstanding customer service. Store led by Loni and her team did a fabulous job in communicating and explaining the differing qualities on diamonds, gold colors which is better yellow, pink or white. Very informative and extremely patient. Loni and staff thanks so much for your help.
Response: Hi Fuad Al-Aali, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. We’re so glad to hear you had a great experience at Tiffany and we hope to see you again soon.

Chrystal Boyd: Today I went to purchase perfume and I walked in and was watched by a little Asian woman I could see in a mirror upon entering so I walked toward her and spoke but she didn’t. I moved on to a gentleman who greeted me and walked me back to this little woman who was rude and didn’t want to assist me. I left because she told me the perfume I was looking for wasn’t in stock but didn’t offer any solution to that.

Alexandra M: This is a relatively new Tiffany & Co. location. It's conveniently located in the City Centre area of Washington, DC. The store is clean, as in really clean! The service is impeccable. I highly recommend this store!
Response: Hi Alexandra M, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. We’re so glad to hear you had a great experience at Tiffany and we hope to see you again soon.

Kerry Kwok: I visited this location on 4/18th with my friends. One of my friends was thinking purchase a pair diamonds earrings or a diamond ring and a knot ring. An asian young lady came to assist us. I asked her what is the table % of that diamond with 6 pounds setting. She answered their all 3 excellent with GIA. I asked her again, she still didn’t understand. Keep repeating something with GIA. I asked her to show me the diamond report on her work phone and I found it by myself. I explained to her that I’m looking for bigger table size diamond. She was screaming so loud and asked WHY !? Then walked away. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even though I left Tiffany and Co. for 4 months, but I’m sure they don’t use GIA report for most of the diamonds and their not all 3 excellent. Horrible client experience and product knowledge. My

Elijah Bair: Worst customer service I have ever seen at a Tiffany&Co. My husband and I frequent the store in friendship heights and always get great service, today I was down in city center doing some shopping. I was greeted by a nice greeter who took my name and showed me where to go and someone would be with me shortly. Walked through the store and stood at a case for 10 minutes and not one acknowledgement. But as I’m walking towards the exit I’m asked if I needed help, there were about five people standing around minus the door greeter.

Response: Hi Carol G, Thank you for taking the time to review Tiffany & Co. at 960 New York Avenue NW. We’re so glad to hear you had a great experience at Tiffany and we hope to see you again soon.

Lee Cox: The store is very beautiful. An incredibly attentive, polite, and extremely proper woman greeted us at the door. She was so great. She took our name and showed us to the engagement rings. They must have gotten very busy at that moment. Someone came to assist us, and then went to finish up with another guest. My day hadnt been the best, so my patience was short. As i began to get upset and prepared to leave, the woman that greeted us came over. She immediately calmed me down, and got us assistance right away. Lonnie came and let my wife try on the ring she had her eyes on, then gave us lots of information. As we exited, the woman who greeted us offered kind words and was so attentive. The prices were unbelievably low for the outstanding quality of the jewelry here. We live nearly an hour away, and there are many jewelers and even some Tiffany stores along the way. For the outstanding job the wonderful woman that welcomed us into the store, im so sorry i didnt get her name. For her, we will return to that store and make our purchase there. Refined, attentive, pleasant as can be, she is truly a rare and exquisite employee.
Response: Hi Lee Cox, Thank you for taking the time to review Tiffany & Co. at 960 New York Avenue NW. We’re so glad to hear you had a great experience at Tiffany and we hope to see you again soon.

Helena Brown: Tatiana was amazing. If you want to have the best experience, work with her!
Response: Hi Helena Brown, Thank you for taking the time to review Tiffany & Co. at 960 New York Avenue NW. We value your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

Joyce Pardee: My husband has been giving me Tiffany silver jewelry for years so I have many pieces though not the high end collections. I was in DC visiting my daughter and she’s in the market for an engagement ring so we went there to look. Upon entering the store however I mentioned first that i had jewelry that needed cleaning before I mentioned diamond ring shopping. I felt the cold shoulder immediately, as if because I wasn’t there to buy then I wasn’t as important. This is not the first store this has happened in over the last fifteen years. As a result we have left Tiffany behind for our fun jewelry purchases for David Yurman. I prefer to spend my money where i feel valued

Lola Ajayi: Two part story: For Christmas my boyfriend bought me a bracelet from Tiffany’s online but it ended up being a little small, so we decided to go into the Chevy Chase location to exchange it on New Years Day. Before going in, I also had in mind that I might exchange the bracelet for a different bracelet altogether or a necklace. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice woman who told us she would bring a sales associate over to us and one came over pretty quickly. My sales associate’s name was J. Castillo. My issue with our sales associate was that she didn’t seem very warm or inviting. I believe that when it comes to customer service, you have to be overly nice and inviting to make clients feel like you truly care about their needs. Her demeanor pretty much made me feel I should just quickly handle whatever I needed to do and get out of there. When I decided what I wanted, she put in the the pouch and box and did not offer to rewrap the box. We also purchased a coffee table box and she didn’t offer to wrap it either. I personally think that she should have at least offered to rewrap the jewelry and box and wrap the book because that would have been good/usual customer service to me. I just didn’t feel like my business mattered there. My mom bought jewelry, perfumes, and colognes from this location when I was a kid and I remember the service being better. The next day, I go to the City Center location because the necklace I ended up getting wasn’t as long as I would have liked. I didn’t try it on in the Chevy Chase location because my sales associate turned me off. My sales associate at the City Center location was 10x better. Her name was Nathalie and she put different chains on me to help me see what would be best for me. She offered me a place to put my coat. She gave me the option to get a custom length chain if I didn’t like the ones that originally came with the necklace. She was very conversational and helpful. Truly accommodating and sweet. I will be coming back to her again! Nathalie was everything and more that the first sales associate I experienced was not.
Response: Hi Lola Ajayi, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. We value your feedback and hope to see you again soon.

New York Jewelry Design Institute: what do users think?

Jenith Gomez: I have been in the jewelry for many years and I always wanted to take a drawing class. The dream came to reality when I took the rendering class at New York Jewelry Design Institute. The class did not only gave me the insights to jewelry technical drawing, but also the next steps to continue pursuing my dreams in the Jewelry world. In addition to taking the class Jenine goes the extra mile to advice and walk close with you on your next steps of your journey. I love the fact that the school stays focused on teaching the essential classes of jewelry design, and keeps close relationships with students and alumni. There is a great sense of community present in the school. I highly recommend the New York Jewelry Design Institute.
Response: Thank you Jenith. We are also very proud you for of the launch of your compan, Panolopy Jewels. We know all the hard work you have put in and what you have accomplished. We are grateful to be part of your story. We wish you all the best and know that you will be successful in your endeavor. We will alway be there for you should you need us again.

Diana Gerson: I was looking to learn CAD for jewelry design. I looked at many programs and then I stumbled across NYJDI. What a blessing!! NYJDI offers private lessons for CAD and Jenine provides the highest level of education to master it! She take the time to understand how a student best learns and helps them to meet and exceed their goals. Beyond CAD, I have taken other classes and workshops at NYJDI and highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn more about jewelry. NYJDI is amazing for both industry professionals who looking to expand their skills or people just starting on their jewelry journey with a dream.
Response: Thank you Diana, it was a pleasure having you in our program. We hope to see you soon. As always we look forward to seeing your beautiful jewelry designs.

Julia Wang Lee: This week I took a 5 day water color workshop with Remy Rotenier. Again, I learned so much and loved the class! It was such an honor to be able to learn from a master who has been a jewelry designer for over 30 years. I noticed a drastic improvement with my sketching and painting skills in just five days. He is humble, kind, easy to talk to, and encouraging. I truly enjoyed being in his class and wish I can learn more from him! I took the Rapid Rendering class with Jenine and liked it very much. Students without drawing experience can come out of the class with beautiful renderings of their design. I learned a lot of valuable and practical things to improve my design skill. Janine is also very warm and approachable. Not only is she a skilled designer, she also has a wealth of information on the jewelry industry. Highly recommend this school to people who are interested to be in the jewelry industry.

sylvia agus: I came from Indonesia to learn how to use CAD and rendering. I had a great time studying in a short span of 10 days. I was reading the reviews online regarding the courses and Ms.Jenine is a very fun, passionate yet always welcome questions. She ensured that I had everything thing I need, from the books that she recommend to different pen tips. At the end of the class, she introduced me to a casting office and the bench jewelers to create my first piece that I designed.

Ilean Galloway: Vashti is an excellent instructor. She enriches the knowledge associated with the course objectives by infusing in class discussions the business acumen she gained through her experiences as a world class jewelry designer. The discussions and assignments caused me to dive deeper into my aspirations and to truly identify and follow my passion.

Lindley Gray: I've taken several classes at NYJDI Traditional Watercolor Techniques: Remy Rotenier is the best person possible to learn traditional jewelry rendering from!!! I was so amazed. He's a master at his craft and such a pleasure to work with. His teaching style feels very natural and he is so patient with students. I had the best time and would recommend to anyone. Thank you Remy and Jenine!!! Business of Jewelry Design: Vashti De Verteuil gave us such wisdom in this class. I felt it catered to absolute beginners as well as those a bit further along in their careers. I looked forward to every class. Really excellent...would suggest to anyone! Rapid Rendering: Jenine is the most fabulous, patient and fun teacher. It was a great class, and although I took it over two wears ago I am still using what I learned from her daily. NYJDI provides the best teachers and choices of classes, all in an intimate and casual environment. Such a special place! ❤️❤️❤️

ISA FOXX: Jenine at NYJDI was the most proficient CAD teacher I've come across - she taught me everything from A-Z and helped me over email when I was stuck at home. I'm launching my jewelry brand ahead of schedule because I was able to learn from her so quickly. Absolutely amazing - only the best to say about my experience with NYJDI - I'll be coming back for more courses without a doubt!
Response: Thank you Isabelle, it was a delight to work with you. I am so proud of all the good work you have done. Keep me posted on your new collections.

Nicole Bryan: Truly amazing class. After completing the jewelry rendering course I felt so much more confident in the quality of designs and drawings that I can present to my clients. Jenine is a fabulous instructor that truly helps guide you to create a solid jewelry line.

Cherry D Inigo: This was truly one of the best things I did for myself. Jenine is a awesome teacher, patient and kind. I am hooked on designing jewelry and colored crayons and watercolor paint. My chirstimas list will definitely look different this year and I am truly opened to this art. To see from the beginning how a beautiful piece of jewelry is created from my personal inspiration and my classmates own beautiful ideas and see it manifest unto paper to a piece of jewelry is amazing. This is a school with great people who truly love to create and like to add to the jewelry industry with awesome instructors from the industry itself who enjoy teaching students their gifts and talents. Check them out.

Item NY: NYJDI offers a great class for anyone interested in exploring cad design software. If you are serious and passionate about it... you will have a great time. the software (3Design) is fantastic and easy to learn. Jenine will walk you through all the necessary steps to get you started. Jenine is a committed and passionate person who gives her 100%. Today I enjoy designing and creating jewelry for others and I am so glad that I was introduced to NYJDI and Jenine. Boaz S.

The George Washington University: what do users think?

Quinn Peters: This university is ruled out as a possible location for my children to attend. As long as that fraud of a justice Clarence Thomas has a professorship here, I’ll never give this place a red cent and I’ll pray every day for it’s ultimate failure.

Dominick Withanachchi: Love the way its situated. If you like a university in a big city, this is one of the best.

SusanTerry Beverly: A lovely city campus. However there are signs of vandalism showing. Let's be cognizant of our surroundings at all times and put an end to this type of behavior immediately.

Ittipat Prapaprasert: Known as 'G-dub' or 'GW', this university has been a bedrock of Washington identity since its founding in 1821. Besides shaping much of the American political landscape, GW has shaped the capital itself, buying up town houses on such a scale that it is now the city's second-biggest landowner after the federal government.

bayazid ahamed: George Washington, the first President of the United States, advocated for the establishment of a national university in the U.S. capital in his first State of the Union address in 1790 and continued to promote this idea throughout his career and until his death.[8][9] In his will, Washington left shares in the Potomac Company to endow the university. However, due to the company's financial difficulties, funds were raised independently. On February 9, 1821, the university was established by an Act of Congress first as Columbian College and then as Columbian University, making it one of only five universities in the United States with a Congressional charter. The university's undergraduate and graduate schools includes the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, the Elliott School of International Affairs, the GWU School of Business, the School of Media and Public Affairs, the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration, the GWU Law School and the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design. GWU's main Foggy Bottom campus is located in the heart of Washington, D.C., with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank located on campus and the White House and the U.S. Department of State within blocks of campus. GWU hosts numerous research centers and institutes, including the National Security Archive and the Institute for International Economic Policy. GWU also has two satellite campuses: the Mount Vernon campus, located in D.C.'s Foxhall neighborhood, and the Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Loudoun County, Virginia. GWU is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity".The university offers degree programs in seventy-one disciplines, enrolling around 11,000 undergraduate and 15,500 graduate students. GWU is home to extensive student life programs, a strong Greek culture, and over 450 other student organizations. The school's athletic teams, the George Washington Colonials, play in the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. GWU also annually hosts numerous political events, including the World Bank and International Monetary Fund's Annual Meetings.[14] The university's alumni, faculty, and affiliates include 16 foreign heads of state or government, 28 United States senators, 27 United States governors, 18 U.S. Cabinet members, five Nobel laureates, two Olympic medalists, two Academy Award winners, and a Golden Globe winner.GWU has over 1,100 active alumni in the U.S. Foreign Service and is one of the largest feeder schools for the diplomatic corps.

Garth Hedley: Amazing complex, beautiful buildings and friendly atmosphere.

Steven Zimmerman: an outstanding University for our son to obtain his Masters in Public Health

Anthony Scott: While the food was descent, the service was so so. Once the cashier finally paid attention to us and we were able to order, she was very friendly. But prior to taking our order, she continued to talk to another employee and chat about non work stuff and ignore customers. The sweet potato fries and grasshopper shake were very good.

frfrpr: Can't believe the University has not addressed the rat infestation problem. Scary

Taylor Fain: Very disappointed in their response to covid. Forcing students who have children to go back into classes of 150 people. Very irresponsible and not taking safety seriously.

King's Jewelry: what do users think?

Ashley Arnold: I can’t say enough nice things about King’s Jewelry! My Fiancé designed my engagement ring there. It is INCREDIBLE!! They are so kind and helpful. They polish my jewelry all the time. They also take care of my fiancé’s watches. As a bonus, they are family owned and have been there for many many years! They really take care for us and we will be life long customers! They are the best of the best!

Hayley Robinett: King’a Jewelry is a wonderful family owned business. My fiancé took and purchased all of our wedding rings here and I’m so glad that we did. My engagement ring is an old family heirloom and King’s did an incredible job repairing and strengthening it without changing the look. Catharine also designed a custom wedding band to fit flush with my ring and it’s absolutely stunning. They have a great selection of mens rings and found a beautiful ring for my fiancé. We couldn’t be happier with their customer service and professionalism. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and makes it a fun process! If you are looking for a jeweler, please check out Kings Jewelers!

James Garza: I've come in to King's Jewelry to have watch batteries and band links re-sized and replaced three times now and each time the staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful in explaining what they could do! I highly recommend

Crystal Park: The best customer service ever! Thank you to Greg and Stephen for resizing/fixing my engagement ring and for helping me choose the perfect wedding band for my fiancé! This is the best place to go for rings, watches, even for some fancy blades. Also, this is the first jewelry shop I’ve been to where I haven’t felt judged because of how I look or how much money I was willing to spend. On top of that - they’ve been SUPER COVID SAFE!! Thank you again!! I’ll be back!!

Jacqueline Watts: My husband and I got my antique engagement ring re-sized at King's and later purchased our wedding bands there. We both had no idea what we wanted in a wedding band, but the staff was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend King's Jewelry to anyone looking for classic, high-quality wedding bands.

Michael Shammas: Always an absolute pleasure coming to Kings. I see no reason to go to any other jewelry store! Professional, knowledgable, personable, beautiful pieces from watches to necklaces, earrings, etc.

Samantha Youngblood: I called King's Jewelry out of the blue because my elderly mom who also has severe dementia, wheelchair bound....her ring was stuck on her finger due to swelling in her hands and knuckles and was starting to cut off circulation. I asked the person on the phone could I bring her to their store to cut the ring off. Without hesitation he replied with yes and said he would happily assist. Well, I generally don't write reviews but they were so kind once we arrived at the store and very pleasant...just good people to the core...they cut my moms ring off and it meant the world to me. Thank you again King's Jewelry. Much appreciated!

Hunter Bloecher: Outstanding customer service. First time customer and took my watch in for a battery replacement. I also had my wedding band polished while I was there. Michael took care of everything in no time and didn't charge a dime for the trouble. Everyone was courteous as could be, and I'll definitely be back!

Rebecca Hawkins: Beautiful store and helpful staff! I went in today looking to repair a necklace and a very kind associate made a few adjustments for free! Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Jonathan Samuels: King’s jewelry is such a wonderful and rare jewelry store, and I had an excellent experience when I went to get my jewelry repaired here. The customer service was friendly and efficient, and the time was minimal. I went in to get four necklaces repaired and the store generously offered to fix the necklaces without charge due to the clasps breaking. Not only did they fix the necklaces quickly, but while I was in the store, the level of professionalism and care was evident to each and every customer. They fixed customer’s batteries in their watches, helped in ring shopping, and assisted in jewelry repair. This family owned business is a gem and I will most definitely be bringing my future jewelry business back here to King’s jewelry store. You will not be disappointed if you come here and it is in the heart of Old town so it is easy to access driving or by foot. Thank you!
Response: Thank you for taking the time to post a review. It was a pleasure working with you and we hope to see you soon.

Baltimore Jewelry Center: what do users think?

Jenn T: I currently am taking the "Intro to Metals" class. This is a very hands on, and you learn a lot in a small time frame. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and want you to succeed whether its for fun or making a business out of it. Highly recommended. They will also have flash weekend rates if you want to use the studio, sometimes its free!

LJ SAX: I've been attending classes at the BJC now since January 2017. They have amazing Instructors, and full time studio managers, so if you are skilled and have a need to rent studio time there is always someone there willing to help. The little gallery also always has a nice exhibition, and there is even a metal shop where you can buy jewelry. I highly recommend this for people just starting out, and even fir more advanced students.

BETH LAVALLEE: I heard about BJC about a year ago and began taking classes. It is an incredible community, teachers with vast knowledge and experience, fellow students who inspire and support each other. Baltimore is blessed to have a resource for artists and anyone in the community that wants to explore this medium. If you have not checked them out, you should!!

Sheri Collins: Moved to Bmore in 2010 and spent years frantically and unsuccessfully looking for an art studio to work/take classes in. Gave up until now and am so thrilled to have found an established studio of artists offering everything I was looking for!

Patricia: A great place to learn jewelry making on an artistic level. Some classes are available online during the corona virus pandemic.

Piper Watson: A wonderful resource for learning metalwork and jewelry making! Wonderful community of teachers, makers, and class takers and its a beautiful facility!! My husband and I learned to make our wedding rings there and I was hooked!

Richard Watson: Visited while a group of students were displaying their newly learned skills in jewelry making. A delightful experience!

Behzad Riazi: Love this place & nice community

Sharnese Hall: Amazing and knowledgeable staff, awesome classes and wonderfully staffed studio. The classes offered here are priceless

Y K Pearson: Calling to see what types of classes they having on this particular site.

Crown Pawnbrokers: what do users think?

Myi Oui: this was my first time at a pawn shop so i was nervous but it was quick and friendly service. sold my items and received cash for it and it didn't take more than about 20 minutes. if you don't want to deal with the hassle of selling online just come in here and get cash in hand, ofc you're not going to get nearly as much as if you sold it yourself online but if that doesn't bother u much this is a great place to go.
Response: Thanks for the great review 👍

Derek Dissell: I purchased a watch at $900+ and wore it maybe 5-7 times. The band started fraying and I requested that they try to glue it back since a watch in good condition shouldn't have such serious issues so quickly. They flatly refused and therefore lose my business going forward
Response: Hi Derek, I'm sorry you are having a problem with the watch band on this item you purchased 4 months ago. Unfortunately we do not Repair bands. We do offer replacements and furnish them.

Activity: The best pawnshop ever. No time limits, or late fees both in purchases and borrowing. They'll keep your products intact, very low and affordable interest rates. Great family that treats you with respect and consideration. I love this place!!
Response: Thanks for the great review 👍 😀

Harold Mitchell: I had once given the store a 5 star rating, two months ago, but since I didn't receive a response from the owner like others who given a perfect rating, now I'll just give 3 stars!
Response: Hi Harold, sorry we did not thank you promptly as we should. We dropped the ball. I hope you reconsider and come on in for some more 5 star service. Thanks for your support. -Mike

Francis Jafari: I have been to many pawn shops throughout my life! I’m a bit of a junkie for them. I love shopping there and finding great things for great prices. I will say crown pawn shop is by far the best I’ve ever encountered! Everyone there is so amazing and willing to help anyway they can! Just ask for mike and he will drop what he’s doing to help. He has always been fair and given me the best deals and gives top dollar for all my items. They also have a female staff member, mrs Jessica who has extensive knowledge of jewelry and can really help you with all questions you have and will work with your budget to help send you home with the ring or watch you desire! All in all this is a 5 star pawn shop and I would recommend it over and over again, so make it your first stop if you’re looking for great deals and great staff!!!
Response: Thanks for your thoughtful review. You are awesome

nick: Amazing service! I love this place! I just bought my wife and daughter last minute gifts, and they were all very helpful. They helped me pick out a necklace and a bracelet. The prices were great. I really liked the omegas and Rolex’s they have for sale. I’ll be back
Response: Thanks nick for the great review.

TODD DILLERSON: If your looking for the best place for any kind of assistance along with the best customer service available go to Crown Pawnbrokers. This place is ran by a unbelievable management and staff who make you feel comfortable and at home ! I’m a regular here and wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thanks guys !!
Response: Thanks for the great review Todd 👍

Carlton Reynolds: I have been a long time customer of Crown Pawn , they are hard working , generous and fair when it matters most , at least I can say that for myself I have been given a fair shake . . .
Response: Thanks Carlton.

Nakita Anderson: My son and I have been coming to this establishment for games since he was 5 he is now 12 and he loves to come and see these wonderful people. My son is into gaming and I’ve learned so much about it with their help and the greeting we get from everyone is so warming. They have been around for so long and the variety of things they have are reasonable and no matter the item, there’re always someone with knowledge of it, check them out, you will come out with the best deals and not to mention the politeness and helpfulness. We love them
Response: You both are so kind. Thank you. 😊

Leon Elliot: This place saves my life every time I’m in a bind and it’s the only place in DC where I can find quality products from my jewelry to my camera equipment love it here

PANDORA Outlet store: what do users think?

Veronica Matthews: Excellent experience. A friendly staff person met you at the door to direct you a staff member to help with your selection. I was assisted by Lauren whose badge said she was in training but she did a fabulous job. The 30% off sale was very helpful. The next stage was checkout and finally to packaging my purchases, per request. Very organized and professional from start to finish. I started a new bracelet for myself and got a few charms for my bestie. About to start my wish list so if you are reading this review and you are so inclined, you can hook a sista up. 😉

Oneatha Bradley: Hello to all. My shopping experience today was AWESOME!! My daughter and I was welcomed into the store by Ms. Melony. Ms. Melony has A-1 customer service and because of my wonderful shopping experience, I will be back. Ms. Melony is the best hands down. She helped me turn my return into an exchange. The bracelet Ms. Melony suggested was very nice and I got it. Ms. Melony ROCKS!!! SHE'S THE BEST😉

Rebekah Diaz: Actually was put off today. Came into this store at 8:32, when closing time was 9:00 to look for a Washington DC charm. There was still a customer inside. As soon as we walked in the manager—who assured us said “oh man, you caught us before I locked the other door, you got lucky.” I’m confused, you were going to lock the door 30 minutes before closing time? I felt hurried, rushed. I wasn’t planning on taking more than 10 minutes, but I honestly felt so rushed, & and I didn’t ask for a bag, to clean my two bracelets, nothing. I was out of there in less than 5 minutes. I was easy, but no need to be rude or rushed. Bad experience honestly. Ugh.
Response: Hi Rebekah, thank you for your review. We never want any of our customers to leave our stores unsatisfied. Can you please contact us at 1-844-467-1333, so that we can chat about this directly? Thanks again!

Shelia Colvin: Clean glass cases stocked well! Store manager greeted us! The manager ask my daughter if she would like her bracelets clean! Also the manager cleaned two more bracelets! Of course I purchased! I'll travel for cleanliness, smile, efficiency n stock!

Branden Johnson: My fiancé and I came in hoping to get a few new charms to add to her bracelet. There were 3 sales people there we didn’t get a welcome or anything of that nature. My fiancé waited for them to finish up with some customers a head of us and 2 we open for help but when she asked for help she got a finger (index) to her face and a one moment with a rude remark. The lady’s didn’t offer any help or service even after 10 minutes of us waiting when they were free. Maybe they had a bad day or something but that was rude and unnecessary they way we were treated.

Daniel Black: I think Pandora defined themselves as a luxury jewelry store, however, their associate wear slippers to work, and this is unacceptable, unprofessional, and nasty. Not to mention that the wait time is too long. I cannot find any reason to come back here. Very disappointed.

Dainette Washington: There was a bit of a wait but everything was organized and my sales person was SUPER helpful and made great suggestions.

bFly Young: Had a huge variety of Pandora items I couldn't find at other Pandora stores

W. Nikki Pearson: Hard to find the beautiful Murano needs at the Pandora stores.

sharon johnston: All the clothing stores apparel looks the same. I guess it's the style, but there's no variety.

Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum: what do users think?

Lin Romano: Loved loved loved it! Wonderful exhibit on Burning Man when we visited, along with other great exhibits that took a bit less space. The gallery is such an intimate yet roomy space that any exhibit could be staged well there. As part of the Smithsonian it's also free, which is nice, too.

Kersten Chisti Dryden: We went to see the Burning Man exhibit. Beautiful gallery, with lots of different rooms. We easily spent 3 hours in here, there was so much to take in, on all sensory levels. Lots of interactive art, including a VR experience, and a carved wooden chapel with little pieces of wood that you can write to loved ones who have passed, and add to the exhibit. Very well produced, all together.

Pakeezha: This is one of my favorite museums. It’s easy to get there and pretty small and they change their exhibitions in every few months which makes you want to go and visit more often. It’s always fascinating seeing the new designs. it can get crowded at peak times but they control the amount of people that can enter which is very nice.

Lauren Brown: I visited the Burning Man exhibit and was blown away by the quality and scale of the work. The art became more powerful when given context and story with the effective displays. It was well placed in the space. It's a smaller museum, but well worth the visit. The gift shop was well curated.

Miss Guided: I visited the burning man experience. My niece and I wanted to be the simulator experience. The nasty worker said was very rude and nasty. Other than that the exhibit was amazing. I cannot take people’s action in account for how wonderful the museum is. Definitely a must see!!! It wasn’t too crowded on the Monday we went which was Labor Day. It was difficult to get some good picture of the mushrooms because of the crowds but still enjoyable. The exhibit is very tranquil and nice.

Sam Eldredge: This museum is perfect for those with a bit of extra time to spend in their day and nothing to fill it with. It's not overwhelmingly large making it easy to see all of the various pieces and exhibits. Also the floor format is circular allowing for easy circulation and no dead ends. There are staff around each corner for questions and beat of all, it's free!

Ashton Menefee: Really cool museum to hit when in DC, awesome rotating exhibits. We saw the Burning Man, Dustin Farnsworth, and Crime Scene Diorama exhibits on a few visits. It’s an easy walk from anywhere in DC, close to the White House, and worth a stop if you want to see something different.

K A: I visited the Renwick Gallery with my family last fall and i was impressed with all the beautiful and extraordinary exhibits. The David’s best temple caught my gaze with its glow and I also love the disrupting Craft. A great museum rich in history and packed with lots of exceptional crafts. It’s a must see if you are visiting DC. I highly recommend to all tourists, locals, craft and art lovers.

H J: The burning man exhibition was on when we attended and it was a really good one. The space within the museum was used really well and the exhibits combined interactive, traditional and contemporary style pieces that appealed to the whole family. Definitely worth a visit once you are done with the White House! Recommended

Allison Lau: One of my favorite places to visit in DC because of it's in-depth content and "larger than life" installations. The gallery is small enough where you can digest everything thoroughly without getting overwhelmed. Detailed descriptions accompany the art pieces. Each room encompasses a different installation. The Burning Man exhibit has been eye-opening, and includes a comprehensive history and future expectations of this whole movement.

Banter by Piercing Pagoda: what do users think?

Justin: This location sells gold pendants that are covered in rust and scratches. Also Purchased a gold bracelet from them, it broke in less than 24 hours, brought it back to have replaced with my insurance. It then Broke AGAIN for a 2nd time, days later while on vacation. Today I attempted to replace it again. Staff at Location says that I never had insurance. And they only replaced it the first time out of "Kindness". Never heard of a jewelry store giving away gold out of generosity. Do not shop at Piercing Pagoda for jewelry, at least at this location. They lie as they go, and I'm not even sure if the jewelry i bought from them is authentic with how often it rusts.

Nandi B.: Don’t do the progressive leasing they try to scam you into doing. At the end you will pay over double what you could’ve just paid upfront! Don’t do it. They lied to me and said it didn’t accumulate Interest and didn’t show me the contract.

Montavia Johnson: I got my cartilage done here and had no issues with healing. My daughter got her 2nd piercings here and they were so patient with her. They are so lovely, nice, and helpful.

Edith Martinez: The ladies at the stand were above and beyond helpful pleasant patient and knowledgeable for a person like me who was scared to have my ear re pierced.

Starron Celistan: I had an amazing time there. It was quick and easy Alantra is absolutely amazing, she answered all my questions with precision and made me smile the entire time.

Black Cobra: Nice place 2 get ur ears pierced

madison V: got my second lobe piercings here and both sides were VERY uneven.

Yolanda Epps: Great children's jewelry!!

Marvin Tucker: This store is represented by Prince George Mall

Paula Justice: Great service with a smile.

Macy's: what do users think?

Don Malnati: Nice store, The sales clerks are helpful, but there aren't very many of them. I knew that Macy's sold the perfume that my wife wanted, so I just dashed in, was directed to where I could find it, and purchased it along with a nice gift bag. They have a large variety of things, the gift bags were really inexpensive. A good shopping experience!

Muniba Khan: Stopped by from out of town since the weather ended up being a lot colder than expected. We were able to find some winter wear for a reasonable price, although I wish they had a wider selection of warm coats and some gloves for these cold fronts. Everyone that helped us was super great and friendly!

Charmaine Hurst: I'm from Philadelphia and the Macy's in Washington DC is much better looking inside! Brighter lights, the women's clothing layout displays of colors style, etc. That makes you want to be there and shop and look around. Brighter lights and the white painted walls helps to be a pleasant experience and welcoming. Clean lines and spaces makes it look larger. It is better looking than the Macy's in downtown Philadelphia where it is gloomy looking and old looking. It need a upgrade!

Kristen Ashworth: Had a lot of fun at Macy's while we were on vacation in DC! A perfect way to spend a rainy day on a girl's trip... or any time we needed a little retail therapy ;) . Their shoe and purse department is expansive and most of our purchases were marked down substantially. They even have a section for dogs - good quality dog toys for cheap prices! Dominee in the shoe department was extremely helpful and attentive for all the shoes we tried on - super fast getting sizes, kept us laughing, and went above and beyond to help us!

Michael Anderson: I enjoyed walking around the store window shopping for new items. They was a pretty good selection but thank goodness I wear a popular size or I would have purchased the whole store! I may go back to the Macy's near my home to do some wardrobe updating in the near future.

Jacqueline Francis: I went with my daughter to return a sport jacket and to look around for any new items. My daughter met her former coworker who was kind enough to assist with her return. The experience painless and without incident. After the return, we made our to the children department. My daughter wanted to see if there anything new out for babies 18-24 months. There were some times, but nothing much that caught her. My grandson did grab a footsie pajama and my daughter saw a cute pair of sneakers and a tee shirt. Very cute 😍! The checkout rep was very friendly, and he was the manager. Overall, a great experince🙏🙏🙏

Mike Sackie: It used to be a really good place to shop at but now the customer service just inst there and. Either is the clothes where did it all go? Hopefully one day it will come back 🙏 thanks for ever seeking new styles

C Meadows: Terrible customer service in their furniture department. The gentleman that "helped" me didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. I asked him questions he couldn't answer so he said he would check with his supervisor and then call or text me the next day. He never did. When I came back to the store three days later he was rude to me about the situation. Shop online to avoid the poor customer service.

Susan Marich: Signs are tough to find. Feels like a fire hazard. Terrible service. Four clerks at the perfume counter just stood around talking and would not acknowledge I needed assistance. I looked for a clerk on several floors ( no one around) and the up escalators didnt work; 4th floor before I found a clerk who would help. The worst! I ended up leaving and spent my money elsewhere. Some people don't need a job I guess.

Cherisse Pais: This store is a disaster. None of the suitcases had prices on them, so I had to hunt down a cashier to find out how much one was, who was MASK-LESS the entire time, not to mention completely incompetent. She ended up charging me when all I wanted was a price check. And then she tried to talk me out of processing a refund, insisting that is was a good deal (it wasn’t). Absolutely not worth going here! It’s gone so far downhill.

Bonanza Coins - Gold & Jewelry Buyers: what do users think?

Chris Peckham: Julian helped me find a rare Large Cent in VF condition for much less than ebay. He's also sold me many other coins that have gone up in value quickly. Give the man a break and get to know him.
Response: Many thanx, Chris

Leslie Joyce: Julian is thoughtful and walks you through the evaluation of your collection to steer you best in what to keep or sell. The store has a ton of treasures if you are willing to take the time to search through there boxes.
Response: Many thanx.

Jacob Hagg: Imagine getting a call from a coin dealer after you bought $7,000+ of coins on his website that he wants you to pay another $1000 because he feels the coins are worth more than he had for sale on his site or he will cancel the order and not ship the goods you ordered. That is my experience with Bonanza Coins. Stay far away from this joke of a business owner. Plenty of professionals to work with who won't bait and switch you when ordering.
Response: I had told Jacob, when he called me originally that the prices on the website were not guaranteed, as the market moves quickly and I had not been able to update the prices. He ordered anyhow. Immediate refund when we could not reach an agreement, which was less than $1000 additional.

Kyle Kerwin: I am interested in the 1791 Washington Large Eagle PCGS MS62 BN, however if Julian could answer a few questions about this piece. The PCGS Price Guide lists this grade at $2,400, you feel that it "looks under graded" and are asking for $2,995 which is roughly PCGS Price Guide in MS63, then why would you not send it back to PCGS for re-grading or send it to NGC in the PCGS holder for NGC to grade it if this is your personal hunch? Also at auction in 12/2020 Stack's Bower sold same coin in PCGS MS62 BN at $1,680 and 1/2020 Heritage Auction sold one for $1,680. Like I mentioned I am interested in purchasing this coin you have but I have concerns on your asking price. Please if you could let me know on why your asking price is higher than the PCGS Price Guide.
Response: Many thanx for your interest, but I am a little distressed by the 1 star review. I have so many coins that need to be submitted that I haven't even begun to think about resubmission. Additionally, this is their opinion. I definitely feel that the coin was not properly evaluated by PCGS. Please give me a call, 301-585-1480, if you would like to discuss the coin. Of course, you are more than welcome to come view it for yourself in person. Finally, I have been dealing in coins for over 55 years and have a substantial amount of experience; actually far more than anyone grading or pricing at PCGS.

Abe: Hate reviewing local shops poorly but bad customer service just can't be ignored.
Response: I am very sorry that you experienced poor customer service. Kindly tell me exactly when/how this happened.

Lorena Velazquez: I was tight on gas money so I decided to sell some old gold jewelry. First impression of the place was good. They had to buzz me in so I could open the door which was strange but safe for them I guess. It looked professional and friendly, unlike the pawn shop that gave me a much lower quote. The guys weren't overly friendly but they weren't mean or rude either. I had a nice conversation with the guy while he wrote me up and seemed genuinely interested. It was nice to have great service. I highly recommend them.

Justine Taweel: I dealt with Alex at Bonanza. He was friendly, professional, and my transaction was completed in a timely manner. I came in to sell a gold chain I had, and it was apparently worth more than I originally thought. Alex seemed very knowledgeable and I would recommend dealing with him for anyone looking to sell jewelry- I had a great experience here!

Gordon Cameron: First time transaction with Julian/Bonanza. Reasonable price for a highly graded coin, shipped quickly, arrived quickly, packaged well and discreet. Very pleased, looking forward to future business!
Response: Many thanx, Gordon. Please let me know how I can help any further.

Paul DeKeyser: Julian listed an 1874 Swiss 2 franc coin on eBay slabbed for $446. NGC.com lists the value of the same coin in VF as $35. To be fair, they list the coin in XF at $225, but still well below the listed eBay price of $446. The coin does not appear in photos to be VF and it is not slabbed by one of the major companies. Is this a guy you want to be doing business with?
Response: This is a very nice coin and worth much more than you offered. The listing is old. Please make a respectable offer. Bonanza has been in business for decades and always treats the public with the greatest amount of respect! This was for an Ebay listing and has virtually nothing to do with the retail store operation of Bonanza Coins.

Vacation Hom: Very Little attention, I really came in for plastic holders to put the coins in. Julian owner gave me some card board, didn’t need the money just wanted to really see its value now and place it in a holder. End results he offered .25 cents each for the Kennedy Half dollar coins and for my 1912 V Five cents coin litterly a .1 cent Maybe he was in a rush but Didn’t come to sell I ended up paying him for the card board holders nickel each . I think it’s time to throw in the towel sir! Seems impatient and looking for the big fish not willing to offer great service .
Response: Not impatient, but gave enough time to evaluate properly.

Kate Spade: what do users think?

Kamelia Kilawan: Wonderful staff and friendly, kind service.

Tiffany Ingram: Jerusa at the Center City store was AMAZING! She went above and beyond to provide great customer service when I bought a bag for my best friends birthday! She even ship the item to my friend so she could have her present by her birthday!

John Neace: Wife love city center Kate spade. Always great staff. Clean cool and convenient.

Kaitlyn Herbst: Visited this store a bit ago. The employee made it a point to walk around us, and continue to talk to her friends quite loudly...after they left, she stood near by, watching us. I smiled at her, but she continued to glare then turned around. Would have bought several things if not for this experience...will not recommend to anyone who finds rudeness as awful as this.

Nicholas Evanish: Went here while on a work trip for the week, all the of women were very helpful in me picking up a gift for my wife. Great job by the staff!
