Madeline Alvarado: After my positive experience and interactions with Natalia Segermeister, I would only trust and hire her to handle my immigration needs from now on. I had a negative experience with a previous immigration lawyer, which left me very apprehensive about trusting someone new. However, after contacting Natalia she immediately demonstrated that she was experienced, capable and trustworthy. I reached out to Natalia regarding a time sensitive issue. She recognized the seriousness of the situation and immediately coordinated a consultation appointment for the following day - which happened to be her day off. She was not only caring enough to meet on her own time, but she also proved to be very knowledgeable and experienced with my particular issue. She was also honest and straightforward, and took the time to carefully explain everything. Anyone who is familiar with the immigration process knows, it is a very complex, stressful and overwhelming process. Which is why Natalia’s demeanor is extremely helpful and appreciated. Along with the initial consultation, I also exchanged several e-mail and phone conversations with her, as well as had a follow up meeting with her, where she reviewed my paperwork that I had completed on my own before I submitted it for any errors. She only charged me a consultation fee for our two meetings, and nothing else. Even though I was not a true “client”, since I did not pay to retain her, she was still very quick to respond, provide her best advice and opinions, as well as give my situation the same time and attention I would have expected as any other client. For my situation, the consultation was sufficient for my needs at that time. However, I would not hesitate to retain Natalia for any future immigration matters.

Pierre Messali: Amy Novick was recommended to me in 2007 by a colleague of mine at the World Bank, where I was employed under a G4 visa. At the time, I was planning to shift (with my family) to a Green Card, considering my future retirement. Amy was extremely helpful in reviewing the various options and recommended the best way to obtain a green card: through an EB-1-1 case (Extraordinary Ability). Then, she supported us to expedite an advance parole in Baltimore, an Adjustment of Status (AOS), a re-entry permit even without the appointment notice, and finally a naturalization procedure in a very timely fashion (3 months for the naturalization obtained a few days ago). Along these various and complex procedures, Amy was always proactive, responsive (she responds immediately to emails) and efficient (she provides reliable answers immediately). Heera Kamboj: Excellent straightforward advice. No overpromising. They tell you like it is and give you conservative timelines for approvals. So you are left pleasantly surprised when things are processed quicker than expected. They helped our family with a Petition to Adjust Status, and Immigration Petition, and a Follow to Join petition for a minor family member. Even when we had an issue with processing times at USCIS due to COVID, they still provided advice on how to make sure we stayed in status and followed the law properly. My friend recommended them. She did so after a successful petition case through them. Before hiring them she spoke to multiple other lawyers and found the fee structure at Deutsch, Killea, and Eapen to be the most transparent and straightforward.

Roxana Marroquin: Honestly zero stars would be best, highly dissatisfied with the service I received. I put in my deposit and didn’t hear for a whole month February 19th to March 25th I heard nothing I contacted them multiple times my calls never got returned when if did I got 2 different people saying it was “on them” but I would get multiple calls asking for more money although nothing had been done. I had to call the third party my paperwork was being signed by to get answer. This law firm towards me seems incompetent and I would not refer anyone here. A process that’s already stressful was made even more so by no communication and receiving multiple calls with different things from everyone. When they contacted me last Saturday at 813 am EST they said they’d call at 9am I was woken out of my sleep I didn’t get a call at 9 I called at 945 to find out what was going on the lawyer said “it’s on me” we thought you lived in Arizona. I’d like to point out how small that detail is for them to miss that and not be organized enough to have where your client lives. I was left scrambling for a new lawyer with only less then 6 months to find someone. I was contacted by the director and I told him a refund on some of my money would be nice for the headache but nothing was done. Please save your time and money do your research look at reviews and go elsewhere.
