Maria Filios - QT3CJB: I found hats that look like they were custom made to match the dresses that our five family members are wearing to a garden party wedding. The styles also suit the widely varying personailites. The variety available in this shop is simply astounding and Sheila is most helpful! Totally satisfied with the whole experience.

Alessandro Pisi: You know you are about to have an amazing experience when you walk in and you hear welcome coming from the back room. Older black lady owner of the store has been doing this for 47 years... in my mind I'm thinking, this woman is about to be very brutally honest about what I pick up... did not move once from her chair just looked at me and would comment on the hat I was trying, I got three VERY STERN NO, and finally I got a YES. I ran for a mirror and I was just shocked... I officially have a hat place , and my bank account is not going to be happy with me. 10/10 I will physically take people there if they ask where I buy my hats.

Patrick Kimbrough: Small shop with a lot of selection to chose from. I was visiting from out of town in February, which I guess is the end of mens hat season in DC. There wasn’t a lot left to chose from but I found what I wanted. The owner was nice and friendly with good suggestions on hats that suited me. The only reason for 4 star was the clutter of the shop. The place needs some organization badly, overall marvelous experience I will definitely return if I am in the area.

Kimberly Humphries: I came to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs to get a personalized hat and Adrian.H was so helpful and he has excellent customer service he took his time to help me find the size I needed and was very detailed in explaining about the difference in all the hats. Also Adrian.R and Jeremiah was excellent and patience with assisting me as well with actually doing the custom part of the hat. You want a nice custom made hat go to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs they have excellent customer service and all are friendly.

Paula Schuman: Update: My husband reached a good rep. The item should arrive soon. The Company has the worst Customer Service I've ever experienced! Even their their phone tree is a mess. They charged me for merchandise I did not receive. They cannot look up an order with a name, credit card number or email address. They said I must go to my credit card company to get a refund.

Kyle Finke: If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Lids as a whole has some ancient business practices and their lack of quality customer service exacerbates the problems. I have never had an easy return and have often needed to call customer service to provide a return label. This location has garbage customer service and is very poorly run. Avoid Lids, and especially avoid this store location. DIsaster

Joseph Caulfield: First and ABSOLUTELY my LAST time going here. I went to get two hats customized. They both came out crooked. I was made to buy another hat to get the problem fixed. The embroidery machine kept messing up. Not to mention they told me that it was a 30 minute wait. Cool. I arrived at 2:30pm and left at 8:00pm. I will NEVER return to this store. Lester Charles: Called in to inquire about a NFL team knit hat (beanie). Sales rep asked if I knew the SKU, but I didn't. I told them exactly which team I was looking for and they said they had it and that I should come in. I went to the store the next day and they didn't have it.... Note, they said they had it, otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the mall to visit this store. I then asked if they knew of any other stores that might have the beanie. They said they couldn't tell me. Waste of time and energy. Poor customer service.

Jason Chung: Don't go to this location.... they have the worst employees and store manager. Worst experience I've ever had as a consumer! Been waiting since September for them to do 6 embroidery hats for my business, and they have yet to produce them. I placed my order the girl told me to pick them up the next day. so I went the next day they was still sitting there not ready, she told me to come back the next day so I did and went to pick up the hats but 2 of them was messed up so they told me to come back the next day so I go the next day and they tried to give me the same hats that had the flaws In them and I was like this is the exact same hats that was messed up. So then I spoke to the new store manager Will he told me to come In show him what kind of hats, style and what I wanted on the hats so we did that he told me to give him until that fallowing Friday which was like 2 days later so I went in that Friday afternoon and I found the same hats me and the store manager picked out sitting at the counter untouched and then an employee approach me with the same original messed up hat for the second time. I then was trying to get a hold of Will the store manager never responded to my text phone calls and when i called the store he was never there. So i went back to the store and of course Will the store manager wasn't there and his employee said he would give me a call and reach out to me i waited patiently for 2 weeks still got nothing. I then proceeded to ask Will the store manager n the employees there for corporate number in which everyone refused to give me the number so i had to do my own research n found corporate number. So as i was talking to corporate guess who finally responded to my Text Will the store owner. He then says to me oh really you took it to corporate when i told you i would handle it and take care of you. Well figure it out its out of his hands smh. You had weeks and months to resolve this but did you I even reached out to no answers so yes I went to corporate. Ive been in that store 7 times talked to the store manager he assured me he would rectify the situation and that was 4 months ago I'm still waiting.... So i spoke to corporate and he said he would rectify the situation so I waited and waited and still heard nothing so I called corporate again and guess what I fond out they put in there records SITUATION RESOLVED👀👀👀👀👀 SO NOW I'M BEYOND PISSED! Lydia from corporate has been the only one to truly try help me and get this RESOLVED she put it over to the General manager customer service manager and the district manager I believe so I spoke with Paul I believe he the district manager and he told me to go into the store didn't matter if Will or a manager was there and pick out any 6 hats I wanted style, color, color stitch and what I wanted on the hats so I tried to do just that last night and again rude unhelpful employees was like I have to come back when Will the store manager is there so I said you can't just see what I want n style n color she goes Nope it's pointless telling me anything I'm not listening to you its going in one👂out the 👂 are you kidding me. This location is very UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR AT THIS LOCATION IM A LONG TIME LIDS CUSTOMER I'VE SPENT 100'S OF DOLLARS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE AS A CONSUMER IN ANY STORE THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED!

John Martin: Came in for a new pair of work boots after my Red Wings wore out. I am a heavy equipment mechanic, meaning I spend 8+ hours a day on hard concrete, so I need rugged boots that will still be comfortable for long periods. I spoke with an older Asian gentleman who was incredibly knowledgeable about footwear-he helped me find a great pair of Thorogood boots. He asked lots of questions about my work, and suggested getting a pair that were also oil-resistant, which I had not considered. He felt around my ankles and the bridge of my foot to make sure they fit well, and spent a great deal of time answering my questions and overall making sure I was well-taken care of. I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need work boots.

Darth Brooks: Best western wear store in the DMV. Really like their boot selection. Employees are very attentive and helpful. Also a lot more knowledgeable than the bigger name store down the street.

Maribel Miranda: Racist. Boyfriend came in to look at boots (his passion) and man followed him around. We are black and Hispanic. A white man came in and man had no problem answering his questions and walk him through aisles. Basically- end of day we are able to buy an $800 boot just like the white man. We are educated and can afford the same kind of boot. I would give zero stars on here, but can’t. Treat everyone the same. This is No. VA a mixing pot. Not only that- you yourself are not even white. You are immigrants of some sort as well.

Ryan Brewer: First off the staff is one of the most helpful staffs I have ever experienced. I went there a couple weeks ago looking for my first pair of boots. The owner and his wife helped me for about half an hour decide my style of boot based on size, fit, and style. This all while there was about 15 other customers. They were helping everyone. Logn story short my particular boot was not available in my size so I said I would come back. Went back today and he ordered the boot just for me to try on. Well, perfect fit. The 20% and Military discount brought the boots down to a manageable price for my budget. Will only shop here in the future for my boots and leather needs.

Priscilla Benton: I purchased 2 cowboy hats for my love. They were a little over priced, but the hats look great on him. The store is filled with awesome Western paraphernalia. I will return! 🎩👢

Joshua Kearns: Great costumer service and great selection of boots. Prices are high but that’s because you are getting the real deal! So, you pay for what you get, which is quality!

Nick Werner: The staff was extremely helpful and the store has a huge selection of work and western boots available. I purchased a pair of Double H work boots and part of the stitching started to come apart after a day of wearing them around the house. This was obviously a defect from the factory and in no way the owners fault. I brought them back to the store and the owner graciously apologized and helped me look for another boot (Ariats) that fit me even better than the first pair. He also repaired my Justin boots which had one of the tacks on the bottom sticking up into the insole for free because of the inconvenience with the other boots. This is the best Western/Work boot store in the area and i recommend it to anyone looking for new boots, belts, and other western items. I will be back for my next pair of boots.

abel chaverria: Doesn't seem like they know much about boots. Been there a couple times and ask them if they have any wide square boots and they say yes and show me regular square toe boots every time . Plus they don't have many skins other than regular leather and they don't have many different skins for any belts to match your boots. Another thing is that they don't have a great selection of jeans, just the simplest pairs. Plus it's odd that every time I've been there they have 20 percent on boots all the time , pretty sure they just raise the price and then just lower it back down to the market price. I'll give them an extra star just because they seem like a nice couple and they are not bugging you around the store.

Brother David Rodriguez: Great customer service. Not a huge selection but it they have a good quality selection. Boot where very nice and the price was about average we even got 20% off which was totally awesome. Left with a pair of Ariats.

Ashy B: Didn't know these guys were over by mosaic but I was so glad I found them. They were so nice and I left with the best pair of boots. I'd definitely recommend them if you're looking for a solid pair of cowboy or work boots. They have so many options in a bunch of sizes. Just made my day!

Jeff Evason: It’s a nice hat shop and I’ve always enjoyed shopping there, until today. Shop manager Rebecca and the other male employee were not friendly at all. Maybe the rainy weather was getting them down, coupled with the fact that the store was dreadfully quiet today - we were the only customers in the store at the time. But seriously a smile would be nice, or even a greeting of some kind. Only thing we got was a grimace and after a few minutes in the shop from the male: “are you looking for anything specific?”. I’ve purchased 4 hats from this store over the years. Unfortunately the last hat I purchased 5 weeks ago was a bit too tight. I have never worn it, not even once, it’s still brand new. I’ve been traveling out of the country ever since I bought it. I went in the shop for 2 reasons today, to exchange the hat for a larger size and to purchase another hat. Rebecca was quick to point out their 14 day store return policy (30 days return for online shopping though). Even under the circumstances, with my travels, Rebecca oddly would not even answer when I asked for an exception. She just kept repeating their 14 day return policy! I notice their Baltimore location will be closing this summer. Customer service is so important these days. That is definitely not something Rebecca seems to understand. They lost a sale today, and more importantly, they have lost a customer forever.

R. Jung: Stopped in on a particularly cold, windy day in mid January and got a great pair of finger-less elbow length gloves. Lots of cute hats: paperboy caps, flapper wear and lots more. I felt great with my new gloves and enjoyed the casual shopping atmosphere. The decorative hat boxes everywhere were very cute too. Looking forward to coming to visit again soon.

D.A.: This store is really nice set up and has a lot of well known hat brands to offer- but the cost is expensive! I was interested in getting a hat- a Stetson- for an alternate options of what I have. The price was over $178. And that was not including the tax! I know that hat stores really have to turn a profit for what they sell- but seriously- I would advise caution before stopping here.

Shelley Woonton: I was visiting Annapolis today and was excited when I saw this shop as I need a summer hat. When I entered I explained what I needed and asked for help finding a hat that would look good on me. The saleswoman was disinterested and told me I would just have to try some on. Fair enough, but then a gentleman wearing a straw hat walked in with his children and she was immediately at his side offering her assistance. I was motivated to purchase a hat had I found one, but left instead because of this.

LL L: They have beautiful well made hats. The people who worked there were very helpful. They requested people to keep their masks on and blocked off the door when they had full capacity. Asking people to keep on their masks is always uncomfortable but they still pushed past it and were very polite. I felt very safe shopping there during this pandemic. These people truly care about their staff and customers. Highly recommend.

Yaser AlSaghrji: The store has a decent variety (although mostly imported) of hats and a nice hat-store location and atmosphere until you are talked down to as if you are not up to our standards. Although I am a hat guy and I mainly wear a Greek Fisherman hat, I always wanted to have a decent American felt one, the day I visited however I was wearing a cheap cap and this earned me an attitude of “go buy somewhere else” which made me uncomfortable. I wish they stay in business and I would love to see more American brands in the store and I am sure I will stop by again.

MW Roll: Decent hat selection for in store shopping. I was disappointed that the hat I wanted was on a rack that said "sale", but then the worker moved them over to the other side of the rack and stated only the hats on the other side are on sale. False advertising is not cool.

John W. Lawrence: Purchased a baseball cap from Hats in the Belfry a few months ago. Unfortunately, I lost it and emailed the shop to order a replacement. Donna responded very quickly and told me they had 1 left- which they could ship to me. When I set up the payment info, Donna told me she wouldn't charge a shipping fee b/c they hate when customers tell me they've lost their caps. Tells you how dedicated the store is to their customers and craft! Also- when I visited the store in person, it was reassuring to see they were taking all necessary Covid-19 precautions.

Lance Hill: While in DC, not dressed properly, walked in to buy a $500 Barbour jacket, that I always wanted anyway. So I said walking in the door, I’m on meds, really need to pee; and if I can, I’ll buy a jacket. Period. They said, “Nope”. As a former restaurant owner for 25 plus years, I muse over what could have been a much much shorter career, if I had treated my customers the same 😉

Alex Terrafranca: Super helpful staff and an amazing customer experience. A shame that the Europeans INCORRECTLY put their zippers on the left side of the jacket but it doesn't take long to get used to. Would definitely recommend checking out this store.

Little effort was being made by the manager or staff. And then...... Daniel came on the scene and with diligence, a great amount of effort and using every resource at hand, he was able to produce the vest; an item that everyone else said did not exist anywhere on the planet. He is my hero and this is the reason that the Barbour store in Georgetown truly represents the high quality of what I've come to know and appreciate in the Barbour name and product. Customer service at its finest!

Georgia Hensley: I really enjoyed visiting this H&M. We needed new dresses before going out for a night on the city so we stopped by the H&M closest to our hotel. My sister and I bought a few blouses and some really nice dresses. This place is clean, modern and shiny! Lots of inventory to look through. We were pleasantly surprised. Cute kids clothes as well. Gothicah: On certain days, can display a great selection of good finds... on other days it can just be a very messy store. But one of the regular locations I frequently visit.

Bonnie: Clothes are well organized but a staff who worked upstairs on 7/11 around 5-6 pm was not friendly to customers. I only asked what time they close the store and she said 7 pm and didn't even look at me and seemed very ungrateful and bothered.

Vicky Good: I could go on and on on how much I loved this place. There's an amazing curated collection of vintage high quality clothing and jewelry for men and women. You can tell the owner has a great eye for style and silhouettes. She is super helpful as well as very knowledgeable and can easily tell what would fit you. I also loved the years written on the tag to inform me about the history of each piece.

nicole lamoreaux: She has a really great selection of items for men and women (more women than men though). One quick thing is that I would recommend giving them a call before you head over to confirm their hours for the day.

I could not believe this was actually happening in 21C Georgetown. I complained to the manager. He did not say anything to the salesmen but at least he did address me, looked me in the eyes and tried to compensate for the salesman's clear chauvinistic attitude and rudeness.

RJ 5: Went a few months back. And yes, SET YOUR APPOINTMENT! It’s really simple and usually plenty of time slots available. Had one small issue which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 (really 4.5). The issue… a shoe in my size showed in stock on their website. Asked the young lady working for my size, who turned and asked the Asian gentleman working the counter. Miscommunication between those two and I was told it wasn’t in stock. After a little bit of a back and forth match between the gentleman and I, he realized he was incorrect because he thought the shoe was a different color! All in all, he went to the back, found the shoe, found me a hat to match and I even grabbed another pair that I wasn’t expecting to grab for a little discount! So the 1 stars I see here seem to be fundamentals in reading comprehension 😂. I would go back more often but I do hate the parking situation but it’s DC! But I’ll be back!

Letetia Thompson: Horrible Experience! Was visiting from out of town! Which is typically what most people in Georgetown is doing, visiting. A tourist would not be familiar with the "appointment only" policy. I was greeted by an extremely RUDE Asian lady yesterday! I understand policy and procedure, as I am a business owner. However, one does not have to be rude or insensitive to get the point across. I would never patronize this company, nor refer anyone else. Due to the horrible customer service! I am sure you all could care less. But, try being a little nicer to your customer base. Especially people traveling, when you have ZERO customers inside the store!

Raul Jimenez: This store has very poor customer service. They don’t really care about the walk in traffic. I showed up on 4/13/2022 around 4pm. I saw the sign on the front regarding appointments but was not sure if it was accurate. An asian lady opened the door and was very rude, and then and african american guy came out of no where and was also very rude and was trying to shut the door in my face. He told me that they don’t care about turning away customers because “we are meeting our sales any ways, we good” and shut the door. This business has no sympathy for customers. Its okay if you work by appointments but you need to be more kind to customers. Also based on the way you respond to people on these reviews it still shows that you don’t care about customers, you get defensive and don’t make people feel welcome. 1 star for sure.
Response: What part of “Appointment Only”did you not understand? We care about customers who take time to actually make the appointment and follow the procedure. Do not try to argue your way in, and do not question the rule. You are not entitled to anything.

I was walking around and saw the store and tried to enter, and this employee just opened the door and asked me if I had an appointment (like I had any idea to book an appointment for browsing?!). I said no, she slammed the door to my face while saying “you need appointment”. Well I need to not spend my money in your store, that’s as simple as that.
Response: You simply need to learn how to read before trying to enter. There are 4 signs that indicate that the shop is appointment only. Don't feel so entitled that you can just enter when the door is closed. There are plenty of 5 star reviews from those that actually matter.

Kneisha G: I spent over $100 in lyft costs to travel to major on Monday and Tuesday. Monday the was closed shop and when I emailed the manager they told them I'm in front of the store. They replied back we were open, you just needed to reschedule your appointment. I rescheduled it for the next day, and she didn't want me to touch nor walk around the store. Every time I tried to ask a question, she interrupted and said you can't try on the shoes, you can't try on the shoes! laughed and said do you even want me to come in? I haven't even told you wanted. She didn't say anything, and when I left she said just go online

Dukes: Went during COVID. An appointment is required to enter the venue. I arrived well before my scheduled time and still had to wait 10 -15 min post my appointment time before I could enter. It appears I was delayed entry because they were conducting inventory updates on the retail floor. This cannot be done in the Stock room? I digress. The store will have something for every “sneaker head”. However the staff didn’t seem as knowledgeable about their product. Also you are paying reseller price for certain shoes even if the release is a week after its general retail release. Not cool. I think ordering via Major’s website is a best situation vs going to the store. Visiting the store is more of a bucket list experience. Once you did it you’ll never need to do it again.

Dr. Brian Sevier: Easily the dopest shoe spot in the city. The owners are very friendly.. very knowledgeable and VERY down to earth! They make you feel like family every time you walk in the door!!

Trey B: They handle raffles and in store release days horribly. Do not recommend. Edit (since the business decided to leave a snarky reply): First come first serve is absolutely no issue. However, no ticketing system, no information given to those in line about stock, and ridiculous wait times are not the norm for in person first come first serve releases. All online raffles require an Instagram to enter, such an obvious cheap ploy for marketing when their website could easily handle it. My advice: find a shop that actually cares about their customers instead of snarky Google reviews.
Response: Our releases are first come first serve. It's unfortunate that you could not show up early enough to get in line, but don't blame us. We do care about customers. And that’s why there’s always plenty of customers that shop with us. What we don’t need is entitled shoppers who think they need a guaranteed pair of limited shoes during a pandemic. We serve customers that actually care about shoes. Not resale value.

Megan Snyder: Not only was the customer service terrible but extremely unprofessional. These owners / employees only care about taking your money & not the quality of the shoes they’re selling. Reached out to them about an issue with the yeezys I bought and they basically told me there’s nothing they can do. Not to mention the store looks nothing like it does on the website, when you walk in there’s boxes everywhere you can barely walk through. The women helping did know what she was talking about which pushed me to feel more confident in buying from them, but turns out I got two different size yeezys and they are not willing to do anything to help.

Sebastian Johannes Ferdinand: The tone in this store is the worst I have experienced in my time in Washington DC. On top of that, you are not allowed to try on the shoes. Suzy S: We were asking our sales associate some questions about sizing (as the suit did not fit very well - seems to be a theme here based on the other reviews) when JARED, another associate, butt into the conversation and said, “well if you paid us more, maybe we’d have more options for you”. Unclear if he meant that the sales associates are underpaid or that the suits they make are cheap, but either way, take that up with your manager, not the customer. Super inappropriate and rude. Not a great experience but Jared is right – you get what you pay for and if you’re looking for decent service (or a well fitting suit), this place is not it.

Baltimore Bernstein: I hate writing bad reviews but feel the need to. I went into this location about a month ago to pickup a few items for a wedding. I knew the QR codes and had them handy. I called in advance to ensure they had what I needed and made an appointment accordingly. I was paired with Julian who seemed nice and well-intentioned, but gave me the feeling that he was just trying to get me in and out as soon as possible. I learned upon arriving that they did not have the pants in stock, after someone from customer service assured me they would. Julian didn’t measure anything below my waist and instead of letting me try on the shirt I was supposed to wear, had me try on a different sample shirt that fit well and convinced me the measurements were exactly aligned with the shirt I was supposed to buy. I had to get the pants delivered and they were way too long, so I paid to have them tailored accordingly. The shirt’s sleeves are too long and not at all comparable to what I tried on in the store. Meanwhile, another groomsman wearing the same clothes had a completely different experience at a Suitsupply store in Seattle. They tailored his clothes on the spot, and sent him home with a swanky suit bag. I did not enjoy those luxuries despite spending ~$400. TLDR - the person helping me put little to no effort in ensuring that everything fit for a special occasion. Not something I take lightly when a linen shirt and pants cost me tons of money!

Martin M. Clark: I purchased a suit here back in 2014, and really loved it. It no longer fits me, so I recently returned to upgrade. I initially purchased another ill fitting suit. I went home feeling somewhat deflated by the experience. I returned the following weekend and was helped by Jacob. Jacob offered amazing customer service. Not only was he knowledgeable and professional, but he was also super stylish and fun to work with. Jacob helped me find a suit that I loved. It took me a a significant amount of time to figure out what I wanted, and how to get my suit to fit the way I wanted, but Jacob was extremely patient with me and helpful above and beyond what is expected. Makes it a lot easier to spend the kind of money it takes to get a whole new suit, shirts, tie, shoes, and belt. Well worth it after all the trouble I had getting set up. If you are in the market for a suit, request an appointment with Jacob at suit supply. You won't regret it! Amazing customer service. I'll be back.

Miguel Villazon: Not an efficient way to run a retail store. Came in to pick up pants that I got hemmed and return two items. 1 hour wait. The manager is the classic stuck up guy with a chip on his shoulder. Shame because their clothing is pretty nice. Check the stuff out at the store and buy online. You’ll have a much better experience.

Thomas Cho: Suits are nice. The customer service is dishonest. I asked them to get rid of a white stain on the suit jacket that I noticed while I was trying on the suit I ordered. The person helping me (Julian) said he'll get it steamed out. We had also discussed increasing the waist of the trouser by an inch. He said he'll put in a note about that too. I come back next week to pick up the suit after alteration and I find out that the white stain had not been removed and the waist has not been altered. When I asked him about the trouser waist, he says it was altered. But I asked the person who actually alters the clothing and they said no, no change was made to the waist of the trouser. The dishonesty and the lack of care made me put 1 star for this review. Another weird thing about Suitsupply: the people who work there doesn't seem to want to help you. After Julian stepped away from me while I was trying on the suit, I wanted to ask him something, but couldn't locate him in the store. So I asked another employee (Anju) if she could help me locate him. She looked at me strangely with visible annoyance. She curtly spoke into her walkie talkie "Who's helping this guy with the blue lazio suit?" And Julian didn't find his way back to me for another 5-10 min. I had to go look for him. IDK, maybe i'm overreacting. But it made me feel unwelcome at the store. I will probably not revisit Suitsupply.

J K: LOST MY TUXEDO. Initial fitting was great. Came to try on the alterations, the salesman was an hour late to the appointment. Then they couldn’t find the suit. So, I don’t have a suit that I paid for. I am in disbelief.

Jenny O’Neil: The store itself has a small selection. My review is mostly about the unfriendly and i knowledgeable staff. I visited today 12/6 at noon. I went to this store knowing that banana was having a sale 40% off everything and an additional 20% off for card holders. That’s a good deal. First, I asked someone where the petite sizes were, they told me they didn’t carry petite in store. That was a lie because I saw a few petite sizes particular the blazer I bought. My next issue and pet peeve when shopping is when the store employees wants to deny you on discounts. Before purchasing my blazer I wanted to confirm the additional 20%. The cashier said no sorry we’re not doing that. Another lie. I had to search the website, pull up the details and even then they told me it was just online after I showed them the fine print that said IN STORE AND ONLINE FOR IN STORE USE CODE BRCODE! Finally, they said they would “just give it to me” except when I looked at the receipt, the code worked and it marked the 20% off. Stop making us beg for the discounts that we’re entitled to.

David Rosenberg: I think the styles are pretty good, and he staff is friendly. I wish the men's section we're bigger, but for it's size, it has a good variety. More dressing rooms would be nice too, but that's just a function of the footprint, and you can't get that would sacrificing retail space.

Marla holland: Great deals ,the staff is amazing willing to help you find whatever you need..and did I mention plenty of deals

Ivan Narvaez: The usual store of BB. Very clean and nice decoration. The people who work there are very friendly and assist you in all your need. I case you can't find your size or color they offer to look in others stores and send it to your house. Very good service.

Ele Palazzolo: I love this shop! Their sizes are accurate. I have been in Banana Republic in Berlin and London and they are all the same everywhere. You kind of know what to expect and is always right. The staff is also helpful and dedicated.

Titaness Themis: Been there a few times...usually not the most pleasant experience...the worst one was yesterday when I went in to buy two dresses and I asked about military discount. The cashier said that it usually does not work with the extra 40% off promo, but she would try. She entered it manually and I got the military discount on one dress and not the other. When I asked why that was, she gave me at least 4-5 versions as to why, which neither made sense. The discount applies to the whole purchase and not to an individual item according to her, so any further explanation is useless. I had to ask for a manager to step in because the girl just did not what she was talking about it. The manager was very courteous and gave me the discount on the other dress as well. She further explained to me that military discount does not apply to the extra 40% promo, but she did it for me anyway. I appreciated it that. In the future, it is best to say flat out it does not apply and not do it.

Amanda DeNardo: I cannot stress enough how terrible the customer service was at this store. I came in looking for basics and a new top and found a blouse (last in my size) and asked them to hold it for me while I try on some basics. They lacked communication and someone put it back (which is okay, it happens). When I was ready to checkout they gave me a huge attitude and when I asked where my blouse was they seemed offended that I was confused... I went back to the rack and found it put away. When I told them what happened they gave me side eye, more attitude, and didn't apologize. Honestly this was a rant and a half but do yourself a favor and just shop online. These guys are jerks.

Kyle Mahaney: These guys saved my butt! I probably shouldn't admit this in public, but a few weeks ago I was asked to do a very last-minute morning job interview. I was already out of the house in a ridiculous t-shirt when I found out and raced around downtown trying to find an open shop for something halfway appropriate to wear. Everything was closed that early in the morning and I only had 15 minutes left when I got to BR. They were closed too, but I explained my situation through the window and they opened early for me. They sped me through, pulling all the shirts in my size, getting the steamer ready, and even directing me to an item on sale. They got me out of there with minutes to spare and I made it to the interview a few blocks away as the hour was striking. Heroes work at this Banana Republic.

Paige Raborn: Spread my ashes at this Anthro! (Only half joking.) Somehow an extremely well organized store despite its massive size, Georgetown Anthropologie has the best items and even better associates! The wonderful and hilarious Camila helped me make a few style decisions, and she is incredibly intuitive about personal taste and sizing. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit DC.

Lion King: My all time favorite shopping place in the U. S.! Quiet and full of beautiful stuffs! D.C branch is one of the best one, the people work there are nice and beautiful, will help you find the things you want especially the one in the shoes area, we didn’t try shoes but she gave us some advices on coat!

Hannah Degn: The best anthro building in the the DC metro area! It’s 3 stories, always has an amazing sales section, and has a great home section too! It’s such a cute store and has such a large selection! Definitely worth browsing and trying things on that you see online!

Austin Graff: If you've been inside an Anthropologie before, this one is the same, but bigger. There are three floors to this one on M Street in D.C.'s Georgetown. Clothes and candles can be found on all three floors, but the home section is on the bottom floor with living rooms and dining rooms set up convincing you to buy a pillow. There's also a small kids section on the bottom floor too. One fun fact about Anthropologie is that the founders give a lot of their money away to causes like fighting modern-day slavery and human trafficking.
