Kimberly Humphries: I came to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs to get a personalized hat and Adrian.H was so helpful and he has excellent customer service he took his time to help me find the size I needed and was very detailed in explaining about the difference in all the hats. Also Adrian.R and Jeremiah was excellent and patience with assisting me as well with actually doing the custom part of the hat. You want a nice custom made hat go to the lids in pentagon city mall upstairs they have excellent customer service and all are friendly.

Maria Filios - QT3CJB: I found hats that look like they were custom made to match the dresses that our five family members are wearing to a garden party wedding. The styles also suit the widely varying personailites. The variety available in this shop is simply astounding and Sheila is most helpful! Totally satisfied with the whole experience.

Alessandro Pisi: You know you are about to have an amazing experience when you walk in and you hear welcome coming from the back room. Older black lady owner of the store has been doing this for 47 years... in my mind I'm thinking, this woman is about to be very brutally honest about what I pick up... did not move once from her chair just looked at me and would comment on the hat I was trying, I got three VERY STERN NO, and finally I got a YES. I ran for a mirror and I was just shocked... I officially have a hat place , and my bank account is not going to be happy with me. 10/10 I will physically take people there if they ask where I buy my hats.

Patrick Kimbrough: Small shop with a lot of selection to chose from. I was visiting from out of town in February, which I guess is the end of mens hat season in DC. There wasn’t a lot left to chose from but I found what I wanted. The owner was nice and friendly with good suggestions on hats that suited me. The only reason for 4 star was the clutter of the shop. The place needs some organization badly, overall marvelous experience I will definitely return if I am in the area.

Aaron Contic: Came into this location to purchase a set of irons, found a set of Taylormade M2 irons that I initially thought were correctly priced at $499. I asked the team member working in the golf department that I was interested and ask where the rest of the set was. He replied that the rest of the set was missing. I asked what was the current price with 3 clubs of the 7 iron set missing? His response was “that’s the price, my manger won’t change it for some reason, but you can ask him” So I asked to speak to the manger which He initially said was available. I was then told that the manager currently on duty was conveniently on a conference call and was now unavailable and the answer was “NO” on a new price for the remaining clubs. To start the team member was friendly and helpful. That being said. I’m also a manager in retail and if a customer asked to talk to a manager about a reasonable question. Im not going to have my employee have to tell the customer “NO” That’s terrible customer service and it’s also a bad business practice to try to sell customers a product that’s missing pieces for the same price as if it’s not!

Maritza Cooper: Always a pleasure to visit this location. The store is always clean and organized. You usually get greeted as you walk in the door. The associates are always helpful and pretty knowledgeable. They will go out of their way to help! Well stocked too! Bought a fitness trampoline to keep a 7 yr old from going stir crazy in an apartment during these NO School days! Hope it works! It was Waaay up high. Had 3 different associates make sure I got what needed. All while helping other customers.

I have never had an easy return and have often needed to call customer service to provide a return label. This location has garbage customer service and is very poorly run. Lester Charles: Called in to inquire about a NFL team knit hat (beanie). Sales rep asked if I knew the SKU, but I didn't. I told them exactly which team I was looking for and they said they had it and that I should come in. I went to the store the next day and they didn't have it.... Note, they said they had it, otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the mall to visit this store. I then asked if they knew of any other stores that might have the beanie. They said they couldn't tell me. Waste of time and energy. Poor customer service.

Jason Chung: Don't go to this location.... they have the worst employees and store manager. Worst experience I've ever had as a consumer! Been waiting since September for them to do 6 embroidery hats for my business, and they have yet to produce them. I placed my order the girl told me to pick them up the next day. so I went the next day they was still sitting there not ready, she told me to come back the next day so I did and went to pick up the hats but 2 of them was messed up so they told me to come back the next day so I go the next day and they tried to give me the same hats that had the flaws In them and I was like this is the exact same hats that was messed up. So then I spoke to the new store manager Will he told me to come In show him what kind of hats, style and what I wanted on the hats so we did that he told me to give him until that fallowing Friday which was like 2 days later so I went in that Friday afternoon and I found the same hats me and the store manager picked out sitting at the counter untouched and then an employee approach me with the same original messed up hat for the second time. I then was trying to get a hold of Will the store manager never responded to my text phone calls and when i called the store he was never there. So i went back to the store and of course Will the store manager wasn't there and his employee said he would give me a call and reach out to me i waited patiently for 2 weeks still got nothing. I then proceeded to ask Will the store manager n the employees there for corporate number in which everyone refused to give me the number so i had to do my own research n found corporate number. So as i was talking to corporate guess who finally responded to my Text Will the store owner. He then says to me oh really you took it to corporate when i told you i would handle it and take care of you. Well figure it out its out of his hands smh. You had weeks and months to resolve this but did you I even reached out to no answers so yes I went to corporate. Ive been in that store 7 times talked to the store manager he assured me he would rectify the situation and that was 4 months ago I'm still waiting.... So i spoke to corporate and he said he would rectify the situation so I waited and waited and still heard nothing so I called corporate again and guess what I fond out they put in there records SITUATION RESOLVED👀👀👀👀👀 SO NOW I'M BEYOND PISSED! Lydia from corporate has been the only one to truly try help me and get this RESOLVED she put it over to the General manager customer service manager and the district manager I believe so I spoke with Paul I believe he the district manager and he told me to go into the store didn't matter if Will or a manager was there and pick out any 6 hats I wanted style, color, color stitch and what I wanted on the hats so I tried to do just that last night and again rude unhelpful employees was like I have to come back when Will the store manager is there so I said you can't just see what I want n style n color she goes Nope it's pointless telling me anything I'm not listening to you its going in one👂out the 👂 are you kidding me. This location is very UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR AT THIS LOCATION IM A LONG TIME LIDS CUSTOMER I'VE SPENT 100'S OF DOLLARS OVER THE YEARS AND THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE AS A CONSUMER IN ANY STORE THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED!

Chris Brewer: It's very cozy and small for a Filson's store, and they have limited stock, but the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and they know their products. Filson's has amazing gear at prices which reflect the made in the USA quality and lifetime warranty.

Shishir Tandale: Amazing jacket, perfect service. Delivery took a little long, but I'd buy from here again without reservation. I drove about 50 minutes to the DC location because this was a huge amount of money and I wanted to be sure I got the right one. I ended up settling in the Mackinaw Cruiser in dark green. I had to order a size smaller than I usually do as these jackets seem to run large. Unfortunately, the size that fit me best was out of stock so Lynn Schwartz had the jacket ordered and delivered to my home about a week later. My entire experience in store was honestly top notch. All of my questions were answered and I left with confidence that this was the correct jacket for me. I even got a follow up email from Chris Powers with some interesting information - apparently Filson holds an old (~1910s) patent on this jacket. I had no idea and that gave the purchase some heritage. The jacket I received was of top-notch quality. It fit as I expected; the detailing was absolutely perfect; it felt warm and sturdy. So far I haven't worn the jacket for too long but I already know I'll keep this for a very long time. I've owned plenty of the other brands like Ralph Lauren, Barbour, etc., and the material quality and fitment on this one is a notch above the rest. How wonderful is it that the best jackets are made right here in America? Based on my experience so far, I'd highly recommend Filson and the DC store if you're looking for some high quality outerwear.

Lewis Maiden IV: Three years ago the 14th Street location used to be a pleasant shop to visit. The storefront displays and clothing were always of excellent quality. However I can not say the same for the staff's customer service. Since the past two years the store's staff have changed hands and now the staff is managed by this extremely rude female manager who I've experienced bad treatment from on two separate occasions. The store is not the same. The reception I experienced was very odd, cold, unwelcoming and rude. I will never visit this location ever again. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Sales team is so nice and knowledgeable, they are definitely chatty and do like ask you every few minutes how you’re doing - we were asked 4 times in the span of 10 minutes if we needed a dressing room lol, I appreciated the customer service although it was slightly overbearing.

Jack Palmer: Drove over from Baltimore specifically to visit the store. Excellent,friendly staff, and small but well stocked store. Wanted to try on the Running Wolf sweater. Extremely dense heavy wool sweater that would keep you warm in the coldest of conditions. Have bought from Filson for at least twenty years now, and happy to say, they continue to maintain their quality.

Diane Schulz: This is the most fun store. I knew what I wanted and thought I would be in and out. I was offered a Saturday Moscow Mule upon entering and greeted by a personal shopper. She showed me around and then backed off while I enjoyed the space. The comfortable couches and sunny space give time to contemplate all the goodies you want to buy. Have loved the product for years but really love the store.

Kenneth Kilgour: For those of us of a certain age, Filson is now what that Maine retailer with the iconic hunting shoes used to be. Not all of their goods are made in the US, but most are. The quality is unfailing. And the folks at the DC store are knowledgeable and personal. This is one of the few brick and mortar stores I still shop at.

Jean Pierre Margall: Worst Customer service Experience, Yesterday Saturday May 27th around 1pm I arrived to this Lids Location and the reason I When is Bc they had in Store Stock the Hat that I wanted for so long it supposed to had a tag with the hat, that's when my complaints started I saw same the exact Hat with the Tag that the other Hat was missing n i Tell the guy if I could just swap the tag because was the same Hat except that it was different Size why with Sarcastic Expression Customer service representative Denied to sell it bc He said he Can't do that he would much rather LOSE 54 dollars sell for for a tag swap that it was Missing from same Hat Smh . I Hope u Trained your employees better Bc a Sell to a Sellman Matters but I Guess this Location is not about That. Is just Weird Customer Service NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS LIDS LOCATION.

Crystal Wiggins: I went into Lids over the weekend to make a quick purchase. I never shop there so I expected to be in and out. When I got to the register the guy behind the counter asked for my email address, I asked why he needed it and he asked again for my email address. Out of habbit I just rambled it off because I was in a hurry. He asked me to verify it on the screen, again I asked why he needed my address. He said ,"just hit agree ". Once again, I was in a hurry. Then he goes on about some access pass and how I get it for free because I was military like somehow he was doing me a favor by signing me up for something I didnt ask for. I checked my email today and unsubscribed. I will never shop there again.

Jade Randles: T-yannah was rude and unpleasant. No explanation on why we were charged $3 more for a hat that was Was priced at $22 on the Nike label!!! Pointing and not speaking is another reason.If you are a tourist... expect terrible customer service before you step in

Brett Buchan: 3rd weekend in a row I’ve wasted my time coming to this location only for the doors to be closed and no sign as to why. Been a loyal customer for many years but I’m no longer spending my money with this location.

Tony Luzi: 2 days before Christmas, Google hours show they close at 9pm. Arrive at 7:30pm. Employee inside, but gate down and store closed. Came to the mall specifically to buy a hat as a gift. Never coming back.

Robert Hoes: The store's nice but the cashiers in the manager I think they're very unprofessional car to all over the all over the parking lot no one helps you lines are always backed up the school has started off on the bad foot somebody needs to go there and turn it around because it's doing bad right now

Jay J: Won’t be doing business with this place again and will stick with real embroidery shops. I settled for work due to last minute things for an event and the hat I wanted to gift was not something I would have sold to anyone. I decided not to purchase if it couldn’t be discounted as the part of a letter was not threaded and it looked like a green marker was used in place of it. My other two hats came out ok but this place is limited.

jose regalado: Experience was terrible at this Lids location. The person working and closing the store today 10/35/2020 was absolutely the worst. There was no warm welcome, he did not ask me if I needed help, and rejected my exchange and said “I can’t accept this dog”. I came back, to the store a few mins later, to find out he closed the store about 10 mins before the scheduled closing time of 6pm.

Dorian Frost: Jim at this store was amazing! After having some trouble at Manassas Store I turned to this store for help. I needed a hat done. I call the store and Jim listened to my situation and told me to come over and he take care of me. Jim and Austin were very polite and also engaged me. The were a great team. Ryan Cooley: The young lady working today was on point. My kids were running around like psychos while my wife and I were looking at hats. She told us not to worry and helped us out. We weren't even going to buy hats. She was so helpful and nice, we decided to buy two hats.

Jeff Evason: It’s a nice hat shop and I’ve always enjoyed shopping there, until today. Shop manager Rebecca and the other male employee were not friendly at all. Maybe the rainy weather was getting them down, coupled with the fact that the store was dreadfully quiet today - we were the only customers in the store at the time. But seriously a smile would be nice, or even a greeting of some kind. Only thing we got was a grimace and after a few minutes in the shop from the male: “are you looking for anything specific?”. I’ve purchased 4 hats from this store over the years. Unfortunately the last hat I purchased 5 weeks ago was a bit too tight. I have never worn it, not even once, it’s still brand new. I’ve been traveling out of the country ever since I bought it. I went in the shop for 2 reasons today, to exchange the hat for a larger size and to purchase another hat. Rebecca was quick to point out their 14 day store return policy (30 days return for online shopping though). Even under the circumstances, with my travels, Rebecca oddly would not even answer when I asked for an exception. She just kept repeating their 14 day return policy! I notice their Baltimore location will be closing this summer. Customer service is so important these days. That is definitely not something Rebecca seems to understand. They lost a sale today, and more importantly, they have lost a customer forever.

R. Jung: Stopped in on a particularly cold, windy day in mid January and got a great pair of finger-less elbow length gloves. Lots of cute hats: paperboy caps, flapper wear and lots more. I felt great with my new gloves and enjoyed the casual shopping atmosphere. The decorative hat boxes everywhere were very cute too. Looking forward to coming to visit again soon.

D.A.: This store is really nice set up and has a lot of well known hat brands to offer- but the cost is expensive! I was interested in getting a hat- a Stetson- for an alternate options of what I have. The price was over $178. And that was not including the tax! I know that hat stores really have to turn a profit for what they sell- but seriously- I would advise caution before stopping here.

Shelley Woonton: I was visiting Annapolis today and was excited when I saw this shop as I need a summer hat. When I entered I explained what I needed and asked for help finding a hat that would look good on me. The saleswoman was disinterested and told me I would just have to try some on. Fair enough, but then a gentleman wearing a straw hat walked in with his children and she was immediately at his side offering her assistance. I was motivated to purchase a hat had I found one, but left instead because of this.

J Covington: If you're in Annapolis you have to stop by this gem, amazing handmade hats and customer service that take you back in time. I was greeted and helped by Miranda who walked me through their gorgeous selection of Fedoras. She explained sizing in depth and took the time to search for just the right hat. LL L: They have beautiful well made hats. The people who worked there were very helpful. They requested people to keep their masks on and blocked off the door when they had full capacity. Asking people to keep on their masks is always uncomfortable but they still pushed past it and were very polite. I felt very safe shopping there during this pandemic. These people truly care about their staff and customers. Highly recommend.

Yaser AlSaghrji: The store has a decent variety (although mostly imported) of hats and a nice hat-store location and atmosphere until you are talked down to as if you are not up to our standards. Although I am a hat guy and I mainly wear a Greek Fisherman hat, I always wanted to have a decent American felt one, the day I visited however I was wearing a cheap cap and this earned me an attitude of “go buy somewhere else” which made me uncomfortable. I wish they stay in business and I would love to see more American brands in the store and I am sure I will stop by again.

MW Roll: Decent hat selection for in store shopping. I was disappointed that the hat I wanted was on a rack that said "sale", but then the worker moved them over to the other side of the rack and stated only the hats on the other side are on sale. False advertising is not cool.

John W. Lawrence: Purchased a baseball cap from Hats in the Belfry a few months ago. Unfortunately, I lost it and emailed the shop to order a replacement. Donna responded very quickly and told me they had 1 left- which they could ship to me. When I set up the payment info, Donna told me she wouldn't charge a shipping fee b/c they hate when customers tell me they've lost their caps. Tells you how dedicated the store is to their customers and craft! Also- when I visited the store in person, it was reassuring to see they were taking all necessary Covid-19 precautions.

Inika Buie: I took my children here to get their dads birthday gift. This is a company whose staff showed exactly what I wanted my children to see a black business show. positive energy, excellent customer service, kindness. Im upset I didn't get names, but let me break down everyone we encountered by description: 1. The guys helping me (everyone offered) was heavyset, tall I believe he has locs I cannot remember. he was such a sweetheart. I probably put him through the ringer, showing him all these shoes I wanted to match. But he took his time,and helped me find the perfect shorts. He was so nice and patient 2. A lady pretty brown skin, locs (the only one there on Friday June 25, 2022. She seemed sooo busy, but she stopped to help, and told me her sizes explained if I wanted something I should size down with the shirts. she went out of her way to assist. You don't get this in the MALL!! I really appreciate her help because I will definitely be back!! Im a fan now!! 3. The person that checked us out! His energy levels were through the rough, no he wasn't hyper but he was soooooo freaking sweet. About 5'9 caramel. I mean he has good energy like he's a good person. He asked my 4 year old , did I get him anything and what size he wore and then asked my daughters the same. I didn't think people like him existed. But he's a walking angel.Or your favorite uncle!!! He went into the back after ringing me up so I didn't get his name or get to thank him but he definitely deserved to be personally thanked!! a visit to this store gave us a family feel for sure.

Kenyon Brockington: I did an online mail order. Once I received my order, sizes needed to be changed so I priority mailed the items via US Postal Service back to the store. The Post office made several attempts to deliver a two day guaranteed delivery and no one was available during posted business hours for over a week. I called this place of business several times during business hours for at least a week before someone answered. The person who answered said the store has been busy and that is why no one has answered or returned any of the calls. A place of business should answer the phone during business hours, no exceptions. Even if only to say to hold or be given a call back. Once I got through To someone via phone and got to the bottom of what my issue was with the gentleman, he claimed to be busy and said he would return my call. I will do a follow up review in a couple days to update on whether this matter is handled in a professional and timely manner.

Assata: If your not into fashion this isn't the store for you. Every print Museum drops is dope. They pay homage to the City and also worldwide! And TOP collabs. So it's a win win you can get original, and exclusive collaboration.

S.M.: I love shopping here. Ordering online can be a bit of a hassle because their delivery fee is higher than usual and you always have to have someone sign for the package. When going to the store, you’ll have to be buzzed in and a staff member will follow you around waiting on your every need. It can get a bit overbearing but since 75% of the stores items are behind the counter, it makes sense I guess. Clothes are very stylish, I always get compliments on the clothes.

Marcus Houston: Horrible staff and service. I placed a online order for my brother, but since his name wasn't on the card that purchased I had to go pick it up. My license doesn't say my new address so I had to bring a bill to prove that was my address even though my license and card matched the name on the order. Furthermore the item didn't fit so when my brother went back to exchange they told him he couldn't do the exchange even though he had the receipt with HIS name on it. Then after arguing with him and I over the phone about the exchange process ( i got confirmation the day of pickup that anyone could exchange with the receipt as long as the tag was still on the item) they told us they didn't even have the correct size in stock. Horrible service, staff was rude and acted as if we were committing fraud. Never shopping at this store or with Solbiato again. -5/5

Lorenzo Whitehead: Absolutely outstanding quality at is best

Gregory Xcellence (Jayadev): I lived in Washington, DC for 6-years and return at least 2-3 times a year to visit friends. I never knew this store existed. I am so happy! Initially, I saw Versace hightops in the window and had to take a peak. I was much more impressed with their signature brand of shoes and clothing. A steal at $60, but more importantly they are fashionable and SO COMFORTABLE. Feeling good about the savings on the sneakers, I decided to purchase a pair of Carrera sunglasses with blue tinted, reflective lenses. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I will certainly be returning here on my next visit. If this business needs some help marketing, please feel free to contact me. I think the collection and store should have so many more reviews. I charge, but I am passionate about the quality.

H L.: One star to try to communicate how poor the music choice was at this Urban Outfitters, at least on Wednesday, Jan 5th around 12:30-2pm. “Steal my Sunshine” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” really? Isn’t U.O. supposed to be a trendy store, not a middle schooler’s bedroom from 2007? This isn’t even the first time I’ve heard “Steal my Sunshine” played at this location, meaning there’s an employee whose music taste is just not at all suited to be broadcast all over the store who gets wayyyy too much access. I don’t need Top 40, but please don’t let that person ever control the music again!

Lea Shanley: Sales representatives are very helpful and the suits are great, but the tailoring service at Hugo Boss in CityCenter DC is insufficient. Recently, Hugo Boss was supposed to tailor my newly purchased shirt, but mailed it back three weeks later without having done any tailoring and mistakenly sent me someone else's blazer as well. If you need tailoring work, go to Do's in Georgetown for expert tailoring, don't use the tailor at Hugo Boss.

Daniel Swingle: Ask for Marietta. You're welcome. She helped me find 4 great shirts, including one from their travel collection that is probably the most comfortable shirt I've ever worn. She didn't try to sell me on things I wasn't there for - just let me wander around then offered great recommendations based on what I'd picked for myself. And she complimented me on my shoes, so there you go... Plus, another guy noticed I still had the tacking stitch on a coat I'd bought recently and removed it instead of calling the police and having me arrested :) Great staff.

Jon Hayes: Reserved a suit in two sizes over email and came in to try them on. The staff were all wearing masks and the store was not busy at all. Was able to get fitted and purchased my suit within 30 mins.

Nazar Shar: My wife and I visited this store and both of us had a great experience. Here's a Big Thank You to Antoine who helped us! He was incredibly courteous, very knowledgeable about both store selection and style, and was able to make our experience very pleasant. We needed some tailoring done and Antoine and his manager took care of everything and as promised Antoine was able to get us the suit incredibly quickly. Antoine also pleasantly surprised me by adding a bottle of nice cologne to my bag as we were checking out - he totally guessed the scent preferences too as I ended up wearing this cologne daily. Store itself is new, very clean and is located in a very nice area. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Ben Jordan: The person who helped me was awesome after I spent 15 minutes walking the floor of a store with only one customer in it looking for help. That part was weird. Honestly, the tailor they use isn't great either. However, once you have their attention it's a pretty good experience.

Sergey Eguy: It seems like the people who work at this location do not care about their sales or the customers in general. I needed to return a pair of shoes that I purchased online from Hugo Boss official website, and I wanted a different pair of shoes instead. For some reason, this store couldn't apply the credit for the returned shoes towards the new purchase. Instead, I had to buy a new pair by paying the full price, and the online store had to refund me for the old pair. It seemed strange to me that this store pretty much had nothing to do with the official online #HugoBoss store. For example, when I switched an item in Boston (Copley Place), I just paid the price difference. So, I picked a new pair of shoes, the problem is that this store did not have the right size, so an associate placed an order for me to be delivered to the store. He promised the shoes in the right size will be delivered to the store in 3 days max. I called in 3 days, no shoes. The person who picked up the phone asked who placed the in-store order for me, and since I did not remember the name of the associate, I had to describe his physical features. There's no sales associate's name on their receipt. Apparently that very associate was not in store that time, and so the person on the phone promised they would call me back. 10 days later, I call them again. The same thing repeats: questions what the associate who placed the order looked like, etc. I asked if they could look up the status of this order by the order or transaction number, but the answer was No, - this store's system doesn't allow them to do that. The person on the phone took my contacts (AGAIN) and promised that somebody would be in touch with me asap. 3 days later - Call them again, and again after being put on hod a couple of times - no traces of shoes! Though this time I was promised that this would go to the manager, who would contact me. After waiting for 16 days, I just wanted my refund. Now I need to go back to the store with my credit card and process the refund in the store. Waste of time and expectations of such high brand as Hugo Boss! Not only the store system is very inefficient to make normal purchase translation, but also the lack of service (or I should probably say indifferent attitude) are the components of very unfortunate experience! I would not recommend shopping from this store, and the management should pay closer attention to the operations!

Tania C: It is a nice spacious store. Friendly and helpful staff EXCEPT the store manager. The young lady is grumpy, arrogant and has a weird attitude. I think the brand should choose store staff more carefully if they don't want to be discredited like this. AND, if you come in for alterations, know that they have a 3 week turnaround for any basic service including hemming pants. 3 WEEKS, haha can you believe it? In any case, I think shopping online is so much more convenient- hundreds on items on sale on the web site, fast delivery. They accept online returns in the store.

Abdulaziz: Salesmen lie to costumers to sell their products. I have been told from a salesman that they have warranty on wallets, and after using the wallet for 2 months, it appeared how bad quality it is. When I decided to take the wallet back, the manager told me that they don't have warranty on them and the salesman who sold me the wallet is new and doesn't know the policies and he cant do anything to help me. I called customer services to find a solution, they told me to contact the corporation via email. I emailed them, they asked me to contact costumer services for help.
