Vee Campbell: My tenant had a major stoppage which backed up into the basement bathroom and outer room. I needed the bathroom cleaned and ready for an inspection and appraisal. After a few misstarts, Maki was able to get the house on the schedule and get the house back to it almost original condition. Certainly, the job was done spectacularly enough that the folks coming through had no idea my tenant had stopped up the main line to the street. I will use eMaids again. Absolutely.

Not only was she super reassuring about leaving the place meticulous but she did exactly what she said! By the time she left there was no evidence of dirt, dust, or hard water stains. It was cleaned at the highest level - my level of cleanliness. And while I do not want to share my newfound secret cleaning weapon with the world, Karen is absolutely fabulous. Anna Porteus: A recent unfortunate plumbing mishap left me in dire need of a thorough deep clean throughout my entire house. Let me just say, if you’ve never lived through having portions of your concrete foundation jack-hammered up to reach pipes underneath, you have definitely missed a once in a lifetime adventure – and NOT of the good kind! There was dust and dirt everywhere. Cleaning it all up was not a task I cared to take on by myself. After doing some online research, I reached out to eMaids of DC. I explained exactly what I needed and why to Jasmine. She assured me eMaids could handle job, and they did! The team arrived right on time and went straight to work. It took a while because every surface had to be dealt with. But, when they were done, my house once again looked tidy and clean. Jonathan Butler: eMaids was fantastic! We have a golden retriever and it had been a good while since our last deep clean of our 2BR/2BA apartment. There was a lot of dog hair, dust, and dirt on surfaces and in those easy-to-overlook spots like base boards, blinds, etc. so we were especially looking for a cleaning service that was going to be thorough and diligent. eMaids ended up being everything we hoped for and more! I worked with Jasmine on the phone, who was very professional and eager to help. She answered all my questions and got me set up with a next-day appointment and was even able to offer the flexibility of sending 2 people over 1, to shorten the total time needed for cleaning. He did a wonderful and meticulous job getting my place clean from top to bottom and stayed until the job was done -- well after the estimated time given. Since I was moving out, I paid for several extras such as cleaning inside my cabinets and major appliances. Early on he made sure to ask if it was okay if he stayed longer than the 4:30 PM estimated end time so that he could devote enough time to each job. Cara Peters: Very disappointed. While the cleaner was nice and respectful, we are not happy with the service provided. It was very expensive and they did not make the beds, did not wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen, did not wipe down our coffee tables, did not move anything out of the way for vacuuming (only vacuumed the easy to reach places), did not dust thoroughly, and did not wipe down several surfaces. The house smelled overwhelmingly like lemon pine sol but I don’t understand why as it doesn’t seem like much cleaning was done. They did do a good job on the master bathroom and cleaning the kitchen range, but we are otherwise disappointed for having paid over $400. Will not be using this service again. Gretta Martinez: I have used Think Maids for their cleaning services about 5 times now. While each cleaning has not been absolutely perfect, their personnel has done a good job of making me feel like I'm coming to a clean house. HOWEVER, recently I had quite possibly the worst cleaning experience ever. The cleaner came without a vacuum (each previous time the cleaners have had a vacuum), a swiffer, broom, and some other miscellaneous items. When I asked why he didn't have a vacuum he said "we don't need one if there is no carpet"...........I took out my own vacuum but he didn't use it. I came back when the cleaning was done to find my apartment feeling like, well, it wasn't cleaned at all. There was lint and dirt under the bed, and it wasn't just a small area, it was a good half of the space. The same under the couch. There were SHOE MARKS all over the floor. (Who doesn't take their shoes off or bring shoe covers?!) There was also some kind of yellowish gel on the floor (see photo) that honestly looked like snot. I passed a quick swiffer in the living room area and it came out dirty (see photo). The bathtub had also not been cleaned. I basically ended up having to clean up after the cleaning service. When I texted the person that coordinated with me, she was unhelpful and unwilling to give me a full refund and offered to send the same cleaner back out (????). They ended up giving me a 30% discount - as if that makes things better after having to CLEAN UP after the cleaners. After my experience today with a poor service and poor customer service, I will not be using this service again.

Kim R: I’ve used them a few times before but this time was awful. The recent cleaner was completely worthless. The first cleaner texted me to reschedule and it was inconvenient but I said okay. Then she canceled, allegedly sick but obviously had a conflict since she tried to push back my appointment. They arranged another cleaner to come who barely did anything. No dusting, mopping, sink was still dirty. He liked stacked a few things in the storage room which I didn’t even expect to get cleaned which is why I blocked it off. There wasn’t even a clean smell like I’ve had from every other cleaner and from cleaning myself. Then I ask for a partial refund and they say they want to send him out again. That said, I believe there may have been some slight confusion (through no fault of your own) here as it is our standard policy to send a different team back to perform a reclean. We would not send back the same team who had performed poorly on your latest cleaning as we understand how that can make for an awkward situation. The cleaner sent was new with us, and occasionally new cleaners do need additional training if performance is poor at first, as in this case. So again, I am very sorry about their performance and want to see if we can turn this around as we have enjoyed helping you keep your home clean thus far. Tara Boggaram: RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THINK MAIDS. They rescheduled with me four or five times, which resulted in them giving me a free clean, which was appreciated. Yet, during my free clean, they didn’t clean my basement because I didn’t select it as an extra. In addition the most egregious thing is that they RUINED MY BRAND NEW HARDWOOD FLOORS. I’m not sure what rose and her team did, but there are scratches upon scratches on my NEW hardwood floors. WHEN I RAISED THIS TO THEM THEY OFFERED ME COMPENSATION OF A FREE CLEAN. Are you kidding?! You ruined thousands of dollars of hardwood floors, won’t take responsibility and are offering me a free clean?!?? Try spekless or another company that has an easy interface to use, but is better quality, reliable and actually honest. Service: Standard cleaning

Paula Hyden: I was really disappointed by the quality of our “deep clean.” They sent a single person to do our one bedroom condo and it is clear that she wasn’t really interested. She brought very few cleaning supplies and no tools—she used our vacuum (which was fine, except that she didn’t empty the canister when she was done)—and spent well under 2 hours working. She left streaks on the mirrors and the stainless steel appliances, dirt on the living room rug, dust on the ceiling fan and the wood floors in the living room, cat barf on the kitchen floor (it was dry and vacuumed up easily), and she failed to wipe down the cabinets in the kitchen (the one service I specifically requested). She didn’t vacuum the sofa or chair in the living room, either, certainly something I consider part of a deep clean. To make things worse, no one from the company has responded to my concerns . I suggest you think hard before choosing thinkmaids. Service: Deep clean

Response: Hi Tyler, My apologies but I believe there may be a misunderstanding. We place cards "on hold" 24 hours prior to each booking as per our policy. However, this is not a charge and is simply a pre-authorization. Sometimes, that shows up as a temporary charge on your bank statement but it is not actually charged until it is put through separately at the end of the day after your cleaning has taken place. When the hold was released you should have seen it drop off. That said, I apologize for any trouble you have had contacting us and would like to make that right. Julia Harris: ThinkMaids was a great experience for me! I was extremely stressed about getting my apartment cleaned because I never had time to clean it myself. I had never hired anyone before, and thinkmaids were extremely welcoming and friendly! They did such a good job in my apartment-especially because it is older so cleaning all the nooks and crannies must have been really hard. They were so professional and I am so thankful for them! Karisa Blasco: Overall I'd say the service was fine. For a move out package I was surprised to still have a lot of soap scum on the shower doors (I had to scrub a lot of it off myself) and the floors looked clean but left our bare feet pretty dirty after walking around on it. Junk Mail: Super busy and the week flew right by. I have company coming at 4 pm today to stay for the weekend and we didn't have a chance to clean and prepare. I quickly filled out a request for an estimate online. Robert immediately called me, gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled the Blue team to come over in 30 minutes. Hallelujah! The Blue team (four lovely ladies) were awesome! They were in and out in no time. I don't know what they did, but my porcelain kitchen sink, which has been beige ever since I bought the home a year ago is now almost white. WHAT?!?! Joe Franks: I hired them to clean my house an Arlington for a while when We were about to list it. They did an outstanding job! My kitchen had not looked that clean since we first moved in. The baseboards and moldings were all cleaned and dust free. I wish we had hired them sooner to take care of the home. T Y: Not sure I could possibly have had a worse experience. Not only did the maids damage my property and unit, they damaged the unit below me. They did nothing to remedy this. The cleaning crew lied about breaking things, the office manager lied about the condition of things , and the owner is a condescending woman who accepts no responsibility. In fact, she will underhandedly blame you for any problems. It's like it was an entire scheme to gaslight me rather than accept responsibility for their actions while blaming me, the customer, "because they don't know me". As if because I've never used this service before I have no right to a good experience. I can't believe the owner runs a business with the way she talks to people. The office manager is clearly entirely incompetent and should be nowhere near a site with her "expertise". And the crew not only damaged my unit, but said nothing, tried to hide it, and then never even cleaned on top of it. An unmitigated disaster. Edit: see her response? Use this company at your own risk. Her staff broke my shower so badly RUSHING water was pouring through the ceiling of the unit below me. This clearly wasn't happening before. Her office manager claimed the handle wasn't damaged when she came by and it was hanging by a thread. The owner takes no responsibility of course. Her reply is quintessential. Edit 2: I added photos of this "clean" her team did. Just look at every negative review and see how she attacks the customer. This owner has no business being in charge of anything.
Response: This is all nonsense. You had a leak in your apartment which my ladies could not have caused. Nonetheless we turned your claim into our insurance company. The insurance company conducted an independent investigation and determined that there was no way that my ladies caused any damage. During the cleaning when your roommate alleged the damage my ladies called the office manager right away. They did not hide anything. My office manager arrived immediately at your house. She took pictures and assessed the situation. She called me and I also called you right away. I even called you back after you hung up on me. I submitted the claim to our insurance carrier who conducted their own investigation. My ladies did in fact clean for over 2 hours and you were not charged. We could not have handled the matter more promptly and professionally. You got 2 hours of free cleaning and the matter was turned over to an independent party who determined that we did nothing wrong. As I mentioned my ladies had to stop cleaning and the job was not completed. We did not charge you for the two hours that they cleaned and the job definitely needed more than 2 hours. I'm not sure what more I could do than to turn it over to my insurance company for review. If they determined we were at fault they would have paid. When we do something wrong I take ownership. When we don't I defend my company and my ladies. Not every disgruntled client is right or telling the truth.

Michele Bueno: We just had a deep clean with Two Maids & A Mop as an initial clean before regular (every other week) cleanings. We were very pleased. First, communications with their front office was professional, and we always got a response within 24 hours or less, even on the weekend. Second, the quality of the cleaning was outstanding. With two people, the cleaning took under 3 hours, including the oven! We plan to continue moving forward with a regular cleaning. Service: Deep clean

Devon Spurgeon: Two Maids & A Mop did a fantastic job on a post-move clean. My house was a mess (with Christmas decorations needing to be put a way, post-move boxes and dust, etc). The team came in and did a fantastic job putting away things that I didn't even realize could be put away. They are kind people, who took initiative, and worked diligently throughout the day. Tara Starner: The stars are for the manager (Steven) and not for the cleaners, unfortunately, as I would have given no stars if it was just based on the work done. The ladies who cleaned did a horrible job. This was a deep, move out clean and they did not even have a mop. Apparently it broke earlier in the day, but they never disclosed this. Instead, they just didn’t mop. At all. So when I came back to my condo, I immediately noticed that things were not as clean as they should be. There was debris all over, grease had not been wiped off of appliances, windows were not clean, and the floors were noticeably not mopped/cleaned because I had just had painters come in earlier in the week and there was dust everywhere from that. I initially called back to discuss with someone and spoke to a woman who was unhelpful and defensive. Thankfully, the manager called back and helped to get the cleaners back to fix the work. However, upon return was when it became clear they were never going to be able to fix the shoddy work because they still did not have a mop. The manager did provide me with a partial refund for the trouble. I know people have bad days and I have seen great reviews for this place. I would like to to assume that this was an off day and I was just unlucky. I appreciate the manager’s willingness to fix things. When the cleaners left after there second trip, they said “have the manager send better people if you want better” - wow. Guess it was my bad luck that I got those two ladies.

RUSA Ventures: Horrible business to deal with. I specifically requested that the grout be cleaned and told them it was dirty. Also told them that if they need the extra time to please take it. When the cleaners finished they said that no one told them about the grout clean and that she didn’t have the right brush or solution. I called the company to tell them this and they tried to charge me an extra service to do so and that the cleaners can’t do that. If they can’t clean the grout then don’t tell your customers that they can. Steve, the manager, of the company was trying to find any excuse to deflect and not take accountability. Horrible management skills… I do not recommend them and their manager takes 0 accountability for lying to customers. Photos speak for themselves. This was the result. After complaining, Steve offered an hour of free cleaning but it wasn’t guaranteed that the grout would be cleaned and that we have to pay an extra service. At this point it’s a waste of time to deal with them because the trust is lost and he wants us to pay for an extra service at the end of the day.

Micheal Meyers: The Cleaning service was phenomenal! However, this company also quoted us for a carpet cleaning by another company. My understanding is that This company “Fast Maid” failed to accurately capture the information and provided a faulty quote. The quote was for $480 and but services came to $690. I was able to talk to the manager of the steam cleaning company and get the price dropped to $590. However while on the phone I was informed this was a recurring issue with Fast Maid. Fast Maid failed to include the flea treatment and 2 rooms onto our quote…technician said they put the cost in the “notes” but failed to add it to the bill we were quoted. If only using Fast Maid, great service! If using them to coordinate for other services be sure to drive hard on the quote. I should have called fast maid back and worked for them to eat the cost difference. But Hindsight is 20/20. The care and attention they put into making sure everything is clean and tidy is great, and I appreciate their hard work! Rating 4 stars because the scheduling and communication has been difficult at times - there were mix ups and nobody showed up for our scheduled time and we waited for them for a few hours - however the cleaners themselves do an excellent job. Jackie Fox: Don’t really recommend. We moved into a house and it was only semi cleaned, so we asked for a deep clean from this company. Paid the two hour minimum, they were done in ninety minutes. The floors were great, but they didn’t do interior windows which they were supposed to, or kitchen cabinet doors. They just surface cleaned, and for eighty-five an hour it wasn’t worth it. I went in after with magic eraser and was able to get things even cleaner.

Annabel Martin: Maid Bright delivered on-time, impeccable service for our move out. This was my first time ever employing a cleaning service and I was nervous about the thoroughness of the job, especially given the job was to prep the house for new tenants. Stephanie Dougher: We reached out to Maid Bright after a serious organizational overhaul (read: post-pandemic removal of all the stuff we'd accumulated over the past two years) of our 2 bed/2 bath condo unit. They got us on their schedule the earliest they could, and were able to schedule our first deep cleaning within two days after initial assessment! (I believe this was due to cancellations, and not a regular offering, but we were grateful nonetheless.) Lisa: You will hear the food and beverage director before you see him. During our trip, he raised his voice multiple times quite angrily - it was quite concerning to hear him speak to guest service staff in such a way and that he was comfortable enough to do it in front of guests, too. Otherwise, my husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay. Our room was amazing and there were lots of friendly faces. I also especially enjoyed the pillows, and I wish I had thought to ask what type they were as they were super comfy.

We went to St.Regis afternoon tea to celebrate the cherry blossom season and it didn't disappoint. The place is nice and their tea selection is amazing. It's a set menu. I personally enjoyed the savory part more. While the sweets were well represented and looked amazing, nothing tasted special but the scones. I highly recommend it I just wished that I have the choice of picking what I'd like instead of having little of everything. They offered a to-go box for the rest of the sweets though.

Sade Smith-Edwards: The hotel is amazing and me and my husband went here for the afternoon tea this passed Friday. It was our 5 year anniversary and we were thinking of staying the night after a fun day of hanging out in the city. Our opinion had changed when the person servicing us essentially never addressed me, even when I was the one asking questions. When my husband asked to have champagne, only HE got to taste it and I was blatantly ignored. She had her back to me as often as possible... That is until I was the one paying the check. I have NEVER, and I do mean never, been treated that way in any service capacity. This completely deterred me from book a night there. I'm sure the staff and hotel is wonderful but this was not a good look. And this was our 5 year anniversary. Probably will think twice before considering going here for a stay.

Squirrely: Five stars all around. The rooms are elegant, updated, clean, and comfortable. Each staff member I dealt with went above and beyond to help. I was especially pleased with the front desk employee who grabbed me a cup of coffee in the middle of the night when I had to catch an early flight. The location is excellent and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

J. Jasmine Villanueva: My husband and I took a last minute trip to Washington and decided to take my parents to this facility and couldn't be happier. Rooms and service were nothing short of amazing. The staff at any St. Regis property NEVER disappoints. Oh, and it's literally a 3 minute walk from the White House and restaurants, etc. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Washington DC.

Sarah Morris: Unfortunately this was a disappointing and underwhelming experience. The hotel is pretty but lacks 5 star service. I have dust allergies and spent most of my time here with a clogged nose which miraculously cleared up when outdoors!! I assume this was to a lack of cleaning of their filtering system. The staff did their best and offered complimentary breakfast but I really cannot excuse having a poor night's sleep in a hotel? Certainly not worth the price ticket and I would choose elsewhere if I return.

Liem Huynh: We stayed for one night in the Metropolitan Suite in June 2022. The room desperately needs renovation and service was nonexistence. Disappointing experience overall. No prearrival email, no response when I emailed the butler service for restaurant reservation, zero communication from the butler during the entire stay. Unfriendly lobby staff, no greeting, had to open the door on my own at times. The Metropolitan Suite was old and in need of a renovation. Dirty pillow cases, worn out carpets, water from faucet smelled a little punky and we even found pieces of shattered glass on the floor. Only positive experience was the check-in, after that everything went down hill. Recommend trying something else while you’re in DC. Much better experience at the Ritz Carltons if you’re a Marriott fan.

Joe J.: Amazing tea experience in DC, probably the best in terms of service, flavor, presentation and selection of teas. The cherry blossom touch is a nice and pleasant surprise. Although it is on the pricey end, definitely recommend!

Ayesha SH: I attended the Whimsy event on April 1. Pros and cons below: Pros: Wine was good. We ordered a Napa cab so it was costly. Ambiance was decent. The best part was their waiters who were super friendly and hospitable. Cons: I was told parking would be validated prior to attending the event. On the day of they refused. We spent upwards of $600 and they wouldn’t validate the parking. Food was ok. I didn’t feel that great later at night. The princess thing was childish, hilarious, and unnecessary. Adults attend these kinds of events not kids. Overall not worth the money they charged us.

Jessica Marie: I stayed here last week. Overall, I had a pleasant time and experience even though I did not get the room I initially paid and requested for. I paid for early check-in and Higher Floor Room. When I arrived I was given a key to a High Floor Room but someone was still in the room. Let the front desk rep know and was given another key to a lower floor room but still had a nice view. Room was clean and roomy enough space for two relax and comfortable. Breakfast was lackluster so don't have high hopes. Hotel is in a perfect location, close to great food spots, grocery store and my favorite Starbucks. 5 minutes from the Metro and Close to Downtown. I will stay here again on my future visits.

Pola P: The sheet of the bed was dirty. The road outside was very loud and I could hear every car going by while being in my room. The walls are very thin and I could hear people from the other room almost all evening. The bathroom door was very loud! It was squeaking. The breakfast wasn’t that good. The room was spacious and nice. The air conditioner was very easy to operate. The elevators were very fast and nice!

Jen Bradley: Pay for the valet or your car WILL be broken into!!! At least a dozen cars had a window smashed out during our stay & center consoles ripped out. They put two holes in my window trying to break in but couldn’t get it to shatter. Everyone else, not so lucky. When I told the front desk they said they tell everyone not to park on the street (when we arrived they said valet or street were the options, no warning whatsoever about the DAILY break-ins and complete lack of police presence). Breakfast was ok. Semi convenient location but not safe (vacant lots flank half the street). Coffee shop across the street was nice. Room wasn’t that clean. Needed a blanket for the pull out couch and had to wait 30 min, as no one was attending the front desk. Phone did not work. Need a key card to gain access to the lobby and to activate the elevator, even in DC that says a lot,

Erika Williams: Personally, this is not what I'm used to for a Hyatt and the 1st night I was very disappointed with the room to the point that I didn't want to be in it at all. However, the front desk staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room for the remaining nights. The parking situation should definitely be fixed especially since the only true and safe option is to pay $53/night for valet unless you're ok with the possibility of your car being broken into. There were public parking lots available for a fee, but when we drove around those, there were cars already there with broken windows even being right next to the police department, so that should be changed. I also think that based on the location and the environment around this hotel, the price of the rooms should be decreased slightly especially with the limited parking availability. Another issue I ran into was that the room we booked for had breakfast included for an additional charge, but we found out when we got to the hotel that breakfast was included for everybody. However, I do want to mention that we booked through booking.com so I think that was more of a third party issue than the hotel's doing. I don't think I'll stay at this hotel again just because of where I prefer to stay, but I will also be sure to do a better job at using things like Google Earth to check the surroundings of a hotel before making a reservation there.

Melinda White: Stayed last weekend with friends. We booked two rooms and were given rooms 11 floors away from each other one of which was dirty and had no linens on the bed. We called the front desk to inform them and they stated they would have it cleaned while we were out for the day. Came back hours later to the room in the same unclean condition. We went to the front desk to resolve this as well as being double charged. They moved us to a new room and stated they would be discounting the rooms but instead they charged us an upgrade fee. So don't stay here if unless you are looking to be overcharged and stay in dirty rooms. Only good thing was the valet staff. Immanuel in particular was very friendly and helpful ensuring our cars were safe throughout the stay.

uthra pakkiriswamy: Towels were smelling full of smoke! That means they haven’t changed from previous stay or they haven’t washed properly. Whole room was filled with smoke. For 4 people, 1 shampoo and 1 soap was provided. Exhaust fan wasn’t working in toilet. Worst room service in my entire life! Kitchen, valet service was good.

C R**d: Great stay! Very relaxing and comfortable environment with very friendly staff. It didn't matter if I was having breakfast, enjoying a drink at the bar, or walking out... Everybody was super friendly and helpful. Would stay again without hesitation. I had the added bonus of being able to see both the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial from my room. Even saw the President's motorcade leaving for him to address the Senate. Awesome!

Casey Garber: Stayed for 5 nights 5/23/2022-5/28/2022 and it was excellent. We had a standard double room. Beds comfortable, plenty of outlets, large TV, very quiet. Room was spotless. We even had a nice view of the Washington Monument! The staff we encountered were all wonderful. We ordered room service one night and the food was very good and packaged well. The location cannot be beat! It's walking distance to just about everything depending on your stamina. By the end of the trip we were pretty tired. Metro station is only about 2 blocks away. Smart elevators were nice! Highly recommend staying here. My family of 3 had a great time.

John Tucker: Great location. Very nice staff. I had a base room with two full-sized beds. Only concern was that my top sheet was not long enough to tuck in...literally got in bed, pulled the covers up to my chest and felt a rush of air come from the bottom of the bed. Why housekeeping made the bed that was is beyond me... and when I tried to tuck it in, it was too short at the top to even come within 2 or 3 feet of the top of the headboard. Nice room otherwise.

Abigail Campos: Stayed for four days at this property. Centrally located to DC and is near several metro stations. Beautiful property and prices are reasonable. As a Titanium Elite, perks were limited. Lounge was closed but they offered 750 bonus points per day or a $60 breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Interaction with staff was minimal but they do recognize your status and are reachable via the Marriott Bonvoy app. We did attempt to get upgraded but we're not successful. The room itself was a standard King and was beautifully designed.

Annette Tatum: Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all the monuments and the White House. Do not waste your money on a rental car because its easier to walk and not have to worry about parking. Excellent location and staff, will recommend giving this place a try when in Washington, DC.

Brenna Belletti: Really beautiful hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and clean. We had a lovely view from our room as well. Convenient Starbucks coffee located in the shop in the lobby. I would stay here again!

BC Turk: To start, the valet parking is outrageous but there is a garage literally right down the same road for about a third the price. The staff is super friendly. Housekeeping would speak to us and ask if we needed anything as we headed to the elevators. Everyone was always saying, Have a good day”. The amenities within the hotel room were good. We checked the sheets and filters and all was clean. Sheets are super thin but worked out okay. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink/bar. All the you need. I like the security they have coming in. It is a two minute walk to the Metro (red line). Would recommend for location being close to a walking path and the Metro.

Mohammed Mohammad: Stayed here for 4 days. Overall my stay was great. My stay included breakfast. This hotel is great in terms of service and kind staff. As for the breakfast, it's not an open buffet style. They have a menu and customer choose from it. Though the choices were limited, we enjoyed every breakfast dish we tried. Chef Mo is an excellent chef excited these dishes in a fine great way. Ladies tacking the orders also were very friendly and helpful. As for the location, it's a 15-20 min walk to the convention center and a little bit more to reach the attractions near to it. The only thing they need to add is an airport shuttle which currently not available. Enjoyed the toiletries with the refreshing lemon smell. Overall, thank you guyz for the great stay.

Garrett Robak: Extremely friendly staff from the front desk, the cafe, management, housekeepers, and valet. Everyone was so pleasant and made the stay that much more enjoyable. The hotel is very modern and has very comfortable amenities. The hotel is also located in a really great section of DC where there are a ton of restaurants and shops that are within walking distance.

Shane Broyles: First off, the staff were all amazing! Everyone we passed said hello, asked if we needed anything. Front desk were always attentive and we're able to help with everything we needed! The ice machine on the floor we stayed at was a little unreliable, but it wasn't too bad to pop to another floor to grab it. Two notes: First was that housekeeping didn't come most days until after 5:30 when we were back in the room. Second, breakfast buffet was pricy and not warm, but other options are available. Convenient to the Red Line Metro (literally next door) All-in-all, I would happily stay with them again!

Cema-D Cema-E: My family stayed 1 night on the 21 of April 2022. We stayed in two rooms. Room 617 in which the heating system did not work and the room was excessively hot. The second Room was 330 in which the Toilet did not flush. Had to fill the trash can in the tub to make the toilet flush. On top of that, they charged me 1007.00 dollars for the two rooms, and the rate I was given was 183.50 for each room. My math says they stole my money through their practices. I would not recommend this particular hotel. I did try to speak to the manager but because I was white she just told me too bad that's the charge. Be wary of this business.

Jean Ng: We read a lot of negative reviews about this place and some is kinda true. Parking is an issue BUT we found a garage just across from the hotel inside the ELEVATION BUILDING which a full day charge is only $16 max. We left the car in the garage for the entire week stay and just use the metro as our main transportation. The room we got was nice and comfortable. Although we have an issue with the AC. The temperature is constantly at 73 even tho we set it for 68. A little stain on the couch but no big deal. The room also have good noise insulation (maybe I just slept through it since we walk so much during the day) Big shout out to Miss Nu who checked us in. She just brighten our day and made us feel special. There is a refreshment table set up with coffee tea water and cookies for free after the breakfast period. Tons of food options around and trader joe’s is just 6mins away on foot towards Union Market.

DK Adams: This trip was a treat for me since I had recently come out of the hospital. The staff was very friendly. The valet man was helpful as well. Our room was very comfortable. I'm glad we went.

ESB NYC: Busy and basic Marriott in NE DC. It was fine for what we needed but I’m not too enthusiastic. Room was clean. There were some kinda gross stains on the sofa/ottoman that were unappealing but we’re not too fussy. They charge $45+tax for daily parking but you can self-park across the street for $16 a day including tax, literally 3 minutes walk. The morning coffee situation was not very well organized. There were also some strange service issues with the front desk. We stayed in the same room but we utilized two separate reservations, the front desk seemed very confused about this and they came up to our room with a rather confrontational demand that we come downstairs to check out and check into the room again although we had been told on the phone that we were good to go. Not really a big deal but I felt that the aggressive posture was unnecessary and left me with a bad taste. On top of that, I am a gold Bonvoy member and I would’ve been entitled to a room upgrade which I declined for the convenience of remaining in the same room. One thing that I believe some other people commented about is that you cannot control the temperature in your room effectively. There is a thermostat and you can make the numbers move up and down a bit but it doesn’t appear to have any effect on the temperature in the room which seems to be controlled centrally. There were a couple of evenings where we were uncomfortably warm. On the plus side, you are just a couple of minutes from the Noma metro station and there is also a Dunkin’ Donuts close to that. You’re also about a 8 to 10 minute walk from the Union market area which has a Trader Joe’s and some great restaurants and other food options inside the market. If not for the convenience of the location and the comparatively reasonable price, this would probably be a three star review.

Kenneth McIntosh: This Marriott sucks badly. Forget parking unless you want to pay a lot extra for valet services. Free breakfast isn't exactly free and the place is beings renovated. At least I had a great experience at the Marriott in Long Island, NY.

Matthew Hall: Really liked this hotel. Staff was great and the room was better than average. I appreciate the barkeep who was very professional and kept me entertained while we sat and had a cocktail. Rose was very attentive and made our check-in process easy. Valet was very spotty with the service, maybe they need more than 1 person certain times a day. The hot tub wasn't working when we arrived but was up and running before I left. Pool was a little cold but refreshing. I will definitely be staying again. This is the ideal location for those visiting DC.

Siobhan Walker: My stay was amazing. My room was spacious and so clean. The front desk was polite, helpful and very professional. Octavia was awesome. She was most helpful because the hotel I had a current reservation for had canceled my reservation and I had to make a reservation here last minute. She provided me the most outstanding customer service possible even with my frustration from the other hotel. Any questions I had was answered and my stay was relaxing. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hilton - you should recognize this location and their staff, they go above and beyond their call to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. All hotel/hospitality should take this location as the example for service. The rooms are clean, and quite comfortable and roomy - this hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from Union Station. I was here for business and I was delightfully surprised for the work space and seating area. I was also happy to learn their fitness center is open 24hrs...with my stay being business in nature - it is difficult for me to get a work out in at most places, due to the limited hours fitness centers are available. 100% recommend the US CAPITOL location. If you want to feel welcomed and comfortable, stay here!

Angela Baca: The air conditioning in our room never worked even after they had someone come and fix it. The elevator stopped on every floor. The pool was available but it was foggy and couldn’t see the bottom of the pool because of this. Burned my kids eyes and mine. This hotel is older and not maintained well by Hilton. There are no fans in the bathroom so if you take a hot shower your whole hotel room fills with steam. The people are nice and it is located near a metro. Those are the only two things that are good about this hotel. Only stay here unless you just can’t find anywhere else to stay.

Natalie Martin: The staff was nice and did what they could, but the hotel was overwhelmed and not well maintained. It is unequipped to have more than 1-2 guests arriving or departing at the same time. It also has intentionally inadequate air conditioning. I have stayed at Hiltons in other cities that also have valet only parking. They’ve all had a driveway to pull in and unload your vehicle. This one has only a small shoulder that a maximum of 2 cars can pull into. Everyone else has to just stop in the middle of a busy street. There were no luggage carts when we arrived, left or had to move rooms on the second night. Other guests also told us that there were no luggage carts when they arrived. On the first night the room was consistently hot though we could hear the AC cut on and off. After coming to look at it twice, the maintenance man determined that the compressor in our room was broken so we were moved to a new room (again no luggage cart, we had a lot of stuff as we were traveling with a toddler). The maintenance man explained that the AC units are motion activated so guests will always return to a hot room and it will always get hot in the middle of the night so that’s why it took him so long to figure out that ours was actually broken. This seems incredibly stingy for a Hilton (in addition to being illogical as it takes more energy to cool a hot room than it does to simply maintain temperature). Stay here only if you are a single traveler with one suitcase and don’t mind an 80 degree room overnight and when you return after being out of the room. Other reviews mention how slow the elevator is, that is also true.

Geoffrey D: Parking valet lane is terribly short. Stains on the comforter. Breakfast included not properly advertised on elevator or through hotel. Laid out of first floor is very awkward, why have steps instead of escalator to second floor. Front desk staff were superb. All throughout the stay they were informative, helpful, positive and available! Wait for valet was not long at all, which was surprising. Minor issues, overall decent stay.

David: Very nice hotel - staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The Manager greeted us as we were leaving and just make the stay complete. Nice pool and restaurant - special call out Kevon our waiter for one of our evening meals. Great place to stay - close to a metro stop as well.

Chippy McLain: Guest services here should be renamed "guest hassles." Checking in and checking out were lengthy, frustrating ordeals. Paid valet parking was ineffective, slow, and overpriced--and apparently the only option. Showers were inconsistent, with cold winning two out of the three mornings we stayed. One of the two elevators was broken leading to overstuffed rides with no option of social distancing as well as long delays in the lobby. The spa had a new twist: a hot tub colder than the pool. I had hoped for a classy, Hilton experience for my family. I wish I had stayed at a Motel 6. I am thankful that I saw no rats inside the hotel. There were plenty just outside the front door; I assume due to the construction and vagrant tents across the street. This section of DC has some big rats. My littlest did think these were cool; my wife, not so much.

Sassy Sauce: The hotel is pretty decent. It met all of our basic needs. It was as clean as I think it should be but the rest of my party felt it was ok. Parking can be a little challenging in the area but we managed. The front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would go back if I needed to.

J Cole: Great hotel. It is a very short walk to the Metro Red Train No Ma Stop to get anywhere in DC for just a 2 dollar fare on the weekends. The area also has a great brewery "red bear brewing company" which is very close by. The hotel also has a bar that looked pretty nice. The breakfast is hit or miss for me but it's as expected for other Hilton Garden Inns.
