Jill Greenleigh: I am leaving this review from the aspect of employee and client as well. We used Visiting Angels for my mother during her final days. We trusted the caregivers to manage and handle her care needs which allowed our family to be her family and not her caregivers. Most of the people that work here have more than 5 years in the home care industry. It was important to my family to work with an experienced team. A lot of our care coordinators (the team that coordinates the caregivers and scheduling) have also worked as caregivers. This experience gives them the insight to meet each client’s individual needs with a caregiver matched to provide the highest standards. Each client is different with different needs. This experience added an extra level of comfort for my family as Visiting Angels certainly chose the right caregiver for my mother. We are forever grateful. I am a satisfied client and a happy employee.
Daniel Okeke: Visiting angels is definitely the place to be, they take care of all their caregivers, shifts are readily available, and they do their best to protect us. They also have the best care coordinators specifically one named Cynthia. I’ve been working with her for a few weeks now, and I can say she’s one of the best visiting angels have on their payroll. She’s very courteous, polite and does her best to make sure that we have everything we need to take care of our respected clients. She is really a gem, and I hope to work with her more in the future.

Our experience with their caretakers, especially Chipendo, has been very positive. She is always pleasant, extremely reliable, and performs her job extremely well. Jean McElroy: Visiting Angels came highly recommended to me. They helped with bathing, transfers from the wheelchair, washing dishes, changing bed sheets, and laundry. The caregivers were very knowledgeable and compassionate. Because of them my husband is doing much better and now walks with a walker. Jennifer Meyers: Philia did a great job caring for my dad. The caregivers were always so kind and caring. We had a fairly constant team of them over the years and even when my dad grew suspicious of people, he trusted his caregivers. They did everything for him (dressed, showered, meal prep, shopped for him, etc). Jackie and her team kept in good contact with me. I always knew my dad was in good hands.
Susan Keegan: We used Philia Home Care for two months as we were researching and making plans for a more permanent living arrangement at a new place for my in-laws. The care givers were very kind and caring. They took excellent care of them, took care of household chores, and prepared meals. My in-laws became very close to all of the care givers. The office staff was also very helpful, professional, and kind. Philia helped us during a difficult time and genuinely cared about my in-laws and our whole family. I would definitely recommend Philia for your home care needs.
