Megan Van Name: We’ve used Two Marines Moving for two moves now, both of which were between different states. We’ve been impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. Charlie was our liaison who coordinated the move, and he was super helpful and accommodating to our scheduling needs. On moving day, the guys packed our stuff and loaded the truck within 7 hours. It was incredible. I trusted the guys the entire time. They drove straight to our moving destination (most big companies offload your stuff and reload it with other people’s stuff) without unloading/reloading. Once at the destination, they unloaded the truck within 3 hours, and even helped my husband put together the bedframes. They were respectful, professional, and reliable. I’d recommend this company to anyone moving!

L. Dabbieri: We have been building a home in Stafford since October. we were unsure of our closing date, so we’re putting off arranging a moving company. Finally, on a Monday, we were informed we were ready to go to closing on the coming Friday. We sprang into action and called Two Marines Moving. We were expecting to be told that we would have to get in line. However, we were scheduled for (Easter) Sunday. We were overjoyed with the responsiveness of the scheduler. We told her exactly what we needed and that was exactly what arrived at our Arlington address. About an hour before arrival, Gavin, the crew leader, called to verify all the details. He was both courteous Ned professional as he went over ll our details on the phone. At 9 on the dot, Gavin, Isaias and Erique arrived. They set off right away and began emptying our condo. They worked very hard through the day and filled the truck. About 3/4 of the way through the emptying process, the cavalry arrived and Deandres came to help keep everyone on time (we may have under estimated how many boxes we had to load). When it came to the unloading portion of the day, it went so fast. Things were placed where we instructed and not a single thing arrived lost or broken. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received during every stage of our move. I would recommend Two Marines Movers, and Gavin and his whole crew for any move.

Andrew Walker: U-Haul completely screwed me. “Lost” my reservation, then failed me on the replacement, meaning I had no truck and I had to cancel my movers. I had no time and no options. But Jake’s came to my rescue! I found them by looking for local moving businesses that had good reviews and same-day service. Paul Smith: The price was excellent for an interstate move from PA to VA. The price was up to $1000 less than other companies I contacted. The movers were great they were quick moving out of my old place and moving into to my new place. Nothing was broken and the moving crew did an excellent job with packing everything, taking apart the furniture and putting it back together quickly without any problems. If I ever have to move again, locally or to a different state I will definitely hire Nation Capital movers.
Varun Arulmani: I used Nation Capital Movers in fall 2021 for a long distance move from DC to Dallas. Nation Capital Movers exceeded my expectation. I opted for full packing and move service. Jonathan estimated the cost very accurately and his quote was the cheapest that I received in DC area. Movers were punctual on the move day and they packed and moved our things in an organized manner. Chris and Peter communicated well with me on the estimated delivery. Driver Luka and his men delivered my things without any damage in Dallas and did not charge me a single penny over what was quoted. I am quite satisfied with their move service and I strongly recommend Nation Capital Movers for any moving needs. They have their own vans and trucks for moving!

Trenita McGee-Byrd: I scheduled my move with Nations Capitol a month in advance. I worked directly with Johnathan who was very professional and courteous. Johnathan explained all costs to me and also advised that due to the fact that since my move would be in the winter that there would be a price adjustment. That was an absolute plus. Also, Nations Capitol provided me with free moving boxes, packing tape and paper which cut my moving costs down as well. Furthermore, on the day of moving I worked with Eric and his team who was quick, efficient and productive. They shrink wrapped and blanket wrapped all of my big furniture and even provided tv boxes for my flat screen TVs. This is important because other movers indicated that there was an additional charge to shrink wrap furniture. They loaded their truck and arrived at the storage unit I rented in minimal time. They took care of loading all my belongings in my storage unit. I have to say it was neatly stored and they did an excellent job. What also is amazing is that when I use them again to move my belongings out of storage and into my home they will credit me the costs of the blankets towards my move to my home. My estimate was for 5.5 hours of work and they finished in 3.5 hours causing me to save tremendously. Nations Capitol, You all are the best and I WILL be using you again as well as referring you to other people who are moving. Thank you.

David Cardone: If you’re a history buff then this is a must. Great little tour of the interior of the mansion with other available tours to add on. They do offer a National Treasure tour that provides some interesting facts about the mansion and grounds in relation to the movie. This tour takes you into the basement of the mansion whereas the $2 mansion tour does not. Beautiful gift shops and there is food available. Good for kids. Check out the Inn next door to entrance for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Rodricka Elliott: Great for a nature walk. I did some birdwatching while there and enjoyed the scenery while there. A lot of open space to have a picnic after seeing the house and grounds. Overall, it’s a great day all day activity for the family. I did go during the day on a weekday so it was not too crowded.
Green Angel: Great services, very helpful staff, good for all ages. I learned that Washington real body was transferred to the new tomb. The tomb of George Washington on the right along with his wife Martha on the left and 25 other families members are entombed there. The gift shop is huge, they are two sides for shopping. One for decoration stuffs cost up to $2k+, another one for souvenirs gift. Spending about 3hours to walk around and learning history about Father of our country.
Darwin Parker: What a great place to visit! George Washington worked hard to serve and improve life. It was amazing to see where he lived, his tomb, and his legacy. Side note- my son passed out in front of the entrance and the staff was incredibly helpful and prompt to take care of him and get an ambulance to come check him out. The staff checked on him throughout the day multiple times to make sure he was okay.
Stephens Basement: I have always wanted to visit My. Vernon but for some reason never did till yesterday. I am so glad I did. It was a very well maintained national landmark. I did think the entrance fee was a little high but they provide a free audio self tour and the tour of the house is included in the price. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have a habit of asking lots of questions and they had an answer every time. George Washington was an outstanding man and leader.
Diana Hidalgo Díaz: The location looks very well preserved and taken care of. The tour guide we had during the house tour was knowledgeable and friendly. The museum was remarkable too. The souvenir shop is big and has a wide variety of items to purchase. I had a very good experience overall!
Virginia VanKeulen: Went on a Tuesday in May. Several school groups but they were easy to avoid. Otherwise not very busy. Learned a lot about George Washington. Really enjoyed the enslaved people tour, the house tour, Martha Washington, the fifer and the beautiful flowers. Rangers were plentiful, helpful and informative. Definitely worth a visit.

Mustafa Sidiqi: NACA home buying program is an amazing opportunity that help you own home. The Counselors are very helpful to make sure that they help you through the process until you become a home owner. In addition to that not only help you buy a home but help after closing. My Counselor Colin is amazing person, he is helping with the process now and it has been very smooth with the documents that I need to submit. Also, he is very easy going person to make sure that pre submitting documents were easy and explanatory to make sure I understand why we need certain documents. Most importantly, he wants to make sure everything that is required are being submitted. I have recommended NACA to a lot of my friends and family to get involve and become a home owner. Lastly, I would recommend for everyone is that take your time reading the action plan and spend good amount of time understand your action plan.
Tyana Trotz: The NACA program has been very instrumental in helping me achieve my goals of home ownership. I am very pleased with my journey with the NACA process thus far. In this program, there is no down payment, no closing costs, no private mortgage insurance, no fees. In addition, they provide budgeting assistance. I truly believe NACA will help me to realize my dream of becoming a homeowner sooner rather than later.

Da-Wang Wu: I have several talented colleagues who graduated from Georgetown University, so I always want to visit this school. The campus is very beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. It’s a nice half-day trip to visit the university, the shopping area (mainly on M Street), the canal and the waterfront park.
Danny L: Must place to visit if you are visiting DC. Lots of things to do around the university. Great place for photography and sightseeing. Plenty of Restaurants around that area. You would love it.

Chick Wallace: On Saturday morning, 11/13/2021, went to the post office to mail a package. I dreaded going because I hate that small cramped location, but I was returning a package & that was the location provided for the return. I had the pleasure of being served by the most amazing postal clerk who was working the window. His name is Eugene. This guy will turn rain into huge rays of sunshine. He was so pleasant & upbeat, he completely turned my grumpy mood around & put a smile on my face. His customer service was beyond reproach. I complain often how it seems that good customer service is a thing of the past. Well, Eugene has certainly made me eat my words. He not only had a favorable impact on my day, but today is Tuesday & I am still thinking about the experience! If you’re ever in the neighborhood & need to mail a package, stop by & see Eugene. He’s pretty Amazing! This reminds me…he asked me to complete the survey at the bottom of the receipt, I’m gonna take care of that now. Thanks Eugene! You make a difference!!

Sassy Sauce: Who doesn’t like Costco. It’s filled with stuff we really don’t need, but when we see it we justify why we want it and figure out the rest later. The tire center crew is very helpful and I have bought car batteries from here as well. The ease of rerun for items is really good and the process is very streamlined. I like the selection of items and it’s generally well staffed. I don’t have to wait too long in line before checking out. The gas prices are the best I’ve seen in the surrounding areas. It’s usually a win whenever we visit.

Pretty easy to reach by public transport if one doesn’t plan to get much (and traveling by bus and metro forces one to be a bit more circumspect in one’s purchases). Will be returning monthly and already know where to find great holiday essentials. Hadn’t had Costco pizza in years, and it really hit the spot. It’s one of the few places in the country where a meal and a drink can still be had for under $3!
Oceanie De Silva: Love Costco and specially this DC one as it’s the only one that sells Liquor in the whole DMV area! We find some great items- coconut water from Sri Lanka, Dutch ovens for a great price! Hard Liquor and wines and beers etc amazing collection!! And great prices too! The Japanese whiskeys are a treat and also some fine wines from France and Spain! Also the service is great and efficient! Even though it’s always crowded you move fast!! Become a Member and come over to the DC one!
B. Lipkowitz: This is a great store for just about anything personal, business, and corporate. A courteous, efficient staff is ready, available to serve, offer samples, or assist along well stocked aisles of both the familiar and upscale. Libations, anyone? The A+ "adult beverage" section has an exceptional array of wines and spirits.
I SLAY ALL DAY TRAVEL The Solo Traveler: Its always a pleasure coming into this Costco to see the workers with great customer service. They are friendly and kind. The selections are wide and many. I really like this location and it’s close to home.
Virginia Donnelly: I love this placeThe wine and alcohol in DC are the cheapest price around. Definitely has great bargains. You just have to have the space to store it or the mouths to eat some of the good items before they spoil.
