WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Karen Lickteig: This WeWork is just OK. Fairly small. It was not very busy and quiet so that was a plus. Only two bar taps for cold brew and seltzer water and they were not on when I was there. Weird system to get into the building and security was not very friendly or communicative. Kind of a dead zone area too, not much around. There are nicer WeWorks in DC.
Response: Hi Karen, thank you for your feedback! We value your opinion and have shared your comments with the community team. We'd appreciate the opportunity to further understand how we can improve by emailing us at feedback@wework.com.

Rosalinda Guerrero: The people that work here make it enjoyable to come into work. Never a dull moment.

Raul Lara: Great staff, collaborative culture . We host our 1 Million Cups meetings there.

Leo Basterra: Ample space, good vibe.

Expansive Dupont Circle: what do users think?

Melissa Buckner: This space has allowed our small business to grow and find a space that is very affordable with so many of the amenities that we valued most. We went from a desk elsewhere to our own office and logo on the door. We have our business logo in the lobby. I started our business from scratch and Novel has given us a place to feel pride in the steps towards success we are taking. We checked EVERY co-working space and some may have a meditation room or yoga Wednesdays, but you pay so much more and after 2 years in a place like that those features sound amazing but were just never used. Novel gives you the best features and at the best value in DC. We're staying put! Come join us :-)
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Novel Coworking’s Washington DC location. We are happy to hear that you had such a great experience. Our center staff works incredibly hard to ensure experiences like these.

Joseph Sullivan: It s cheaper than WeWork, and fine if you simply need a box to sit in and work on a given day. That said, the place has the energy of a cross between a state penitentary and an office building slated for demolition; in an old office in downtown DC, we were the last tenant in the building before its demolition, and getting in its aged elevators feels a bit like getting into the elevators here. The vibes are roughly the same. Though I'd be leaving either way, I'd probably have been better off sticking with a hot desk membership at the WeWork down the block. The staff are pleasant, but make sure you read the fine print of any document you sign.

Don Jones: Moved to Novel in October 2020 and their response to our needs have been stellar. The location is clean, safe and convenient. I've been at other non Novel coworking locations and Novel has them beat hands down. The only downside is there is no rooftop area for relaxing.

Raja Krishnamoorthy: Great place to work. Friendly, helpful staff

WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Slav Gatchev: Very nice space and it would be 5 stars once the exterior building work is complete (I went mid October 2021 and they are in the thick of it). The scaffolding kinda kills the views and makes the thing look darker -- still it's not a deal killer at all. Would definitely go back. (Scaffolding likely to stay on thru end of 2022.)

Ethan Wade: Just like any other WeWork, this one is tidy, comfortable, has friendly stuff and is a fun way to meet people you otherwise wouldn't in a traditional office setting. I love having great coffee and food prepared through out the day, and appreciate the beer on tap on the evenings. We work is definitely worth it!

Shayla Wilson: This place is amazing, I love when we have meeting here.
Response: Hi Shayla, thanks for the review. We’re so glad to have you as a member of our community!

Elysa Neumann: The best place to work. The space is beautiful and the staff is incredible. They truly care about all of us who work there and show it every day, from remembering little details of our lives to surprising you with your favorite type of tea when you are having a long day to going above and beyond to help you get the resources you need, the staff here is incredible. The staff also does an amazing job facilitating connections and community. I find myself working at tables with folks from other companies that I have gotten to know through a wework event, and I have developed business relationships with several other members. Overall a really special place to work.

Tiptunya Kampim: This is a good place for working and meeting. I love it.

Jacob Westerfield: I work her. Love this place. Best place I’ve ever worked. Only thing better than this is probably one of those google or tech company headquarters. Maybe a start up. But yea free cappuccinos, and tea, they’ve downsized the glasses to reduce over consumption. Also nothing else. This place is great. Free gym, a cafeteria, I always bring my friends who come to town a visit to impress them. Lol. Yea I’m lame I know.

Jacob Janofsky: My company and I thoroughly working out of this WeWork office. The staff is extremely approachable, helpful, and resourceful. The space itself is immaculate and wonderful for networking and socializing , while getting work done, of course. Highly recommend this location to work out of- I could not be more pleased with this office space.

Daniel Wright: Great vibes, great place, great people = GOOD. My company has been with WeWork for about 7 months now and we have received the upmost professionalism and service from this work place. We originally had an office at the White House location then opened up another in Navy Yard location. The Navy Yard location is very low-key, however still in an awesome enough location where you can hit the bar after work, hop right on the metro, go to the store, or catch a Nats game. Would highly recommend joining this new location!

Shelly Omilàdè Bell: This is my favorite WeWork location I'm DC. It's spacious but also has a thriving community. The staff is the best that I've seen in the DMV area. Not just kind, but cool and responsive.

Rachel McGovern: This is a great WeWork! It's in a great location - right near the ballpark and a bunch of new restaurants. You're close to the water and the metro. The inside is always so nice and clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly and always available to answer questions.

Mindspace Washington DC: what do users think?

Clara May: This was my first coworking space experience and Mindspace was absolutely perfect! The space was clean and organized, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the vibes were just immaculate. I definitely recommend this place for fellow remote workers passing through DC, or if you live in DC and need a change of scenery. Mindspace was too legit to quit!
Response: Hi Clara, thank you so much for your kind words. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at Mindspace.

Jonathan Faull: Beautifully appointed, spectacularly well-run, and brilliantly located, Mindspace is undoubtedly the best co-working space in DC. The staff offer excellent and responsive service with a personal touch. Oh, and the internet speed is orders of magnitude faster than most office spaces.
Response: Hi Jonathan, thanks for such a lovely review. We are glad you had positive experience with Mindspace. We hope you get a chance to visit other Mindspace locations. BR, Revi

Connie C.: Loved working here! Beautiful ambience with office spaces quiet enough to get actual work done. Everything was clean and quite new. I've been to a lot of coworking spaces in various cities and this by far has been one of my favorites!
Response: Hi Connie, thank you so much for your kind words. We're happy to hear you enjoyed your experience at Mindspace. We hope you'll get a chance to visit our other locations as well. BR, Revital

Steve Hsu: Mindspace came through when my work laptop wasn't working with my hotel's WiFi. The space and amenities are nice, but I really appreciated how quiet it was and the different options available for meetings. The staff helped me get situated quickly with no aggressive sales pitches. Everyone wore masks and restrooms were socially distanced. It can be a little difficult to find but the security at the WaPo side of the building will help you get to the 3rd floor.
Response: Hi Steve, thank you so much for your kind words. We're happy to hear you had such a positive experience at Mindspace. We hope you'll get a chance to visit our other locations as well. BR, Revital

Katie Hrozencik: I absolutely love Mindspace. The space itself is always clean and well kept, and is probably the most chic looking of all the co-working spaces I have visited in the DC area (which is always a plus). The staff is extremely personable, and are quick to work through any questions I have -- and genuinely seem to care about each individual company/person here. They've also done a really wonderful job communicating with members and managing the space itself to keep everyone safe and informed throughout Covid, which I sincerely appreciate. I've been so impressed with Mindspace over the last 2 years, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space to work!
Response: Katie, thank you so much for this excellent review! We love it!

Jahns Chavez: Mind Space is an amazing company and an awesome place to get work done. I have a hot desk at the Washington DC location, and I have nothing but great things to say. The community team is super friendly and is always willing to lend a hand. Their spaces are beautiful, and as a freelance photographer, I'm always inspired by their interior design and their welcoming presence. I can't help but to recommend their spaces to any small business or creative professional looking for a place to work
Response: Hi Jahns- we are thrilled to hear that your Mindspace experience has been so positive! We do our best to provide an environment that helps freelancers, like yourself, become more productive, connected and inspired. Here for you, always - Team Mindspace

Genesislevel Mail: I have an office here and I love the staff. They have been very accommodating to my needs. The lounge space is very open, friendly, and inviting. The area is always decorated with fresh flowers, and there is always something going on event-wise. This is a great space for a small business to network as well since everyone is very kind.
Response: We are thrilled that your Mindspace experience has been so positive. We are here for you to help make your coworking experience one of inspiration, productivity, creativity and collaboration. Kind regards from the Mindspace DC team.

Vanessa M: I was in D.C for a meeting that was hosted at MindSpace! Obvious Pro: the space is beautiful and has plenty of resources and space to get work done efficiently. Even though I was only there for a day, the staff made me feel welcomed as if I was a member- which says a lot because they knew I was from out-of-state so they couldn't "sell me" on a membership. Just genuine people! My cell phone reception was a little wonky in one area but fine everywhere else, maybe just check that out for yourself when you tour the space. :)
Response: Hi Vanessa, thank you for your review! Happy to hear that you have enjoyed your experience at Mindspace K Street. Kind regards from the Mindspace DC Team! :)

Lisa Stafford: Initially I thought was the space to build upon a great work at our company. Overtime, my feelings have changed. The front desk staff come are hit or miss on being friendly and helpful. I feel like I’m bothering them when raising an issue or asking a question. I just let it go and moved on; however, today, I never have felt so disrespected in the workplace ever. In celebration of black history month they decided to play trivia and have some snacks. They often do happy hours around a theme. Today’s theme seemed friendly and innocent enough until I looked at the snacks and how they were displayed and packaged. Although it may seem minor to some, I immediately connected the imagery to cotton in a bag like when slaves picked cotton. I questioned whether I should say something because the imagery although “innocent” did not sit well with me so I said something to the front desk staff, Katie. She immediately caught an attitude and was like don’t make this a big deal. It is just popcorn and if you don’t like it I’ll eat it to remove it....wow. I’m hurt that she one would talk to a client that way and secondly my experience and how I feel about imagery shouldn’t bother me. The workplace should be sensitive and aware and open to different cultures and if someone of that racial make up is telling you the imagery doesn’t sit well, LISTEN.
Response: Lisa, our sincere apologies that you had such a poor experience. This was by no means our intention and we apologize for any insensitivity exhibited in the planning of the event and in the way we addressed the concerns you raised. We pride ourselves on the exceptional member service we provide, but we obviously fell very short of that. We will do better in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for being a vocal member of the community. We hope to make it up to you in the future. (Uri Bar-Joseph, VP of Marketing on behalf of Mindspace)

Keaton Ray: Our company, MovementX, had the opportunity to spend the day at Mindspace during our annual strategic planning meeting. We were blown away by the welcoming staff, the inspiring architecture and design, the accomodations, and the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship. Would highly recommend this location for both individuals and larger companies!
Response: Hi Keaton - we are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit and that your Mindspace experience has been so positive. We do our level best to provide an environment that helps companies be most productive and inspire teams in a whole new way. Here for you, always - Team Mindspace

WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Slav Gatchev: Excellent location! Has a smaller (two floors), boutique hotel feel. The biggest draw of course are the huge windows with postcard views of the Carnegie Library aka the New Apple Store and the convention center. I love how wide the floors are for a bit of a loft vibe.
Response: Hi Slav, thank you for the very kind review. We’re so glad to see you’re enjoying the space!

Lucine Mikhanjian: Love this location! The staff are super accommodating with flexible conference room booking all the time. Haig has been particularly helpful on multiple occasions with fixing issues with speed and a smile! It’s also so close to Chinatown and has a great view of the Carnegie Library.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to share this review. We value your feedback, and we're so glad to hear you're enjoying your WeWork experience.

Dhrooti Vyas: I have been outside for 20 minutes and cannot figure out how to get in. No one is answering the phone, during regular business hours.
Response: Hi Dhrooti, we're sorry you had trouble accessing the space. This is certainly not the experience we want for our members and will be reaching out to make this right. We hope you give us a second chance and look forward to welcoming you back soon!

WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Allison Blajda: My company looked at 5 different co-working spaces in DC before deciding on the K Street WeWork, and we are so happy we did! WeWork is a truly wonderful office environment, and the K Street location is the best of the best. The space is beautiful and centrally located south of Dupont Circle (so many great lunch options included Rice Bowl and Greek Deli!), plus the humans on the Community Management team (Michelle, Daniel, Tom, Natasha!) are some of the loveliest, most inclusive and welcoming people you'll come across! My company has hosted multiple successful events and happy hours in the common space, and the office building has a free gym, an incredible yoga room, and an amazing rooftop! K Street is truly the perfect combination of fun and productivity.

Yigit Erkut: I feel lucky to be working in a WeWork location in DC, especially here at K Street. Michelle and her team are excellent and very friendly. They always find an engaging and exciting way to increase the interaction between community members - often in the most delicious way! Regardless of how busy they might be, they are always there to help and ready to solve your issues. The smile on every team member is a much-needed impetus for setting the mood and creating a productive working environment. All in all, I am glad that my colleagues are members of WeWork K Street and we appreciate all the extracurricular activities the staff is creating for us in the office!

Jen G: The K Street WeWork has the friendliest staff committed to workplace happiness. The building itself is well-equipped and I found everyone at this WeWork to be very friendly. Lots of great snacks, a rooftop, and plenty of spaces for quiet work and collaboration. Highly recommended!

Lindsey Wilkes: I have had an office at this location for over a year now. I have a rather stressful job, and I can't thank the WeWork team enough for taking such good care of me and my clients. The office environment; the kind, professional, and responsive staff; and the perks (like breakfasts, happy hours, Daniel's cheeseboards, plus so much more) make it a truly incredible place to run my business from. Thank you WeWork K St. team!

Kenny Paul: I've worked at different WeWork locations across the country and this one is by far the best. The staff is excellent and the ambiance is very nice. When I first started working here, the community manager Michelle was extremely helpful and inviting. I do not intend on leaving this location anytime soon as it embodies everything WeWork should be and stands for. I 100% recommend this location to anyone looking for a WeWork in the DC area.

Marjorie G Sexton: WeWork K Street is a tremendously positive work environment, that emphasizes and supports business and social interaction among the members. Energy from sponsoring member events, "lunch and learns" promoting cross-pollination between members, and member-appreciation events infuses each week. You will never get bored. Well-run and appointed, the space is a far cry from typical, buttoned-down corporate offices, and the staff is always looking for ways to improve your day!

Claire Gordon: WeWork K St is more than just an office space, it is a community! While the location is prefect for commuters (Farragut West is a block away, Farragut North about 3 blocks), and the amenities are great (gym access, roof access, kitchen with coffee, tea, cold brew, and other fun snacks), what really sets K St apart from other offices in the area is the employees. Michelle, Daniel and Tom never fail to swiftly answer any of our requests and add a little fun to everyone's work day. They try to make community events fun and relevant and they truly do care about each member's individual likes.

Liliana Germosen: Love working here! I have been a wework member for 3 years, but at this location for 1. By far my fave! This team is so professional and have kept their wework upbeat personalities that other locations lose rather quickly. They always keep their members engaged and genuinely have your best interest in mind. Always greeting your visitors with pleasant energy. Location is in the heart of everything. Great for business meetings, transportation and a ton of options for lunch meetings. I would highly recommend!

Joshua Radbod: WeWork K Street is a great place to work, hold meetings, events, anything. The main reason for that is the staff. I would like to give a shout out to Michele Goldberg (Community Manager), Daniel Stark (Community Management), and Thomas Staton (Community Lead). These three are first in the office, last to leave type of people. They go above and beyond for everyone here at WeWork K Street. They are the true reason for the 5 stars above, thanks.

Gideon Culman: WeWork K Street offers an optimal location, a highly attentive staff, a wonderfully supportive community of companies. I have been working from this location since a month after it opened. It's rare that I get to the end of a weekend or a vacation without jonesing to get back to work, and a lot of that has to do with the welcoming environment of WeWork K Street.

WeWork: what do users think?

Joshua Hone: The 1701 Rhode Island location is the best WeWork in the DC area. Many floors, lots of natural light, is seldom busy, and the staff are—to a person—welcoming & kind. The rooftop, if open, is also an excellent space for receptions and meetings.
Response: Hi Joshua, we’re so glad to hear you’re enjoying the space!

footclan2k2: The staff is great, but the corporate office be out here trying to gentrify you out every year by making you sign new contracts with raised prices. I had to move to Regus Office spaces.
Response: Hi there, thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear we weren't a fit.

Caroline Carter: Really bad experience at this WeWork location. Had been harassed several times by two men for not putting my mask on in between sipping my water, coffee, or consuming a snack, despite being over 6 ft away from all other people and them never saying a word to others doing the same. By their standards you aren't allowed to eat or drink there, ever. That or they think it's appropriate to intimidate women. Sad these people only derive a sense of power or sense of self worth from yelling at WeWork members every five minutes. I expected more professionalism from WeWork staff.
Response: Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience at one of our locations, and we would appreciate the opportunity to hear more so we can better address your concerns. Please reach out to help@wework.com with "Google Review" in the subject line if you'd be open to discussing this further with a member of our team.

Nicolas A. Canales: It is said that during difficult times, we get to see the true colors in people and businesses. During our current Covid-19 health crisis, while I have not been able to commute to my space because of the Government of the District of Columbia's Stay-at-Home Order, WeWork has only cared about ensuring that it collects its membership fees while continuing to suppress membership services. Furthermore, WeWork has explicitly told me that it plans to continue charging its membership fees for the whole duration of the government's Order no matter how long it lasts. Facing the impact that the virus was already having on my sales, I requested WeWork to place my 2-year membership agreement “on hold” without penalties for the duration of the Order. WeWork did not accept my request despite the fact that I made this request several times to different employees in WeWork's hierarchy. I was not asking for a loan. I was not asking for financing. I was just asking them to put my membership on hold so that it could resume after the order expired, extending my term correspondingly so that WeWork still got the money that it was so eager to receive. Now WeWork has charged my card for the full amount of April and May without my consent. WeWork misled me into signing a 2-year contract when one of its sales representatives offered me a discount for early registration and then only granted it to me if I signed a 2-year agreement, a condition that was never mentioned before. It is worth mentioning that I communicated my interest in joining its building 5 months before the building was even finished. If this is not an early registration, I do not know what is. Even though my account was set on autopay (WeWork would be charging my credit card monthly) I had to send WeWork an email every month to remind them to charge my card as an internal glitch prevented it from charging my card automatically. It was only upon my insistence that WeWork finally fixed its glitch months after the issue first arose. But of course, none of what I did to help is now being reciprocated. WeWork invited me once to a brainstorming session saying that it wanted to hear my opinion regarding how to improve my member's experience. I felt excited and even worked on a list of ideas to share with them. The disappointment continued of course as when the day arrived the representative did not even show up. In a two-faced manner WeWork approached me offering its help to cope with the crisis but when I actually asked WeWork to put my account on hold WeWork did not listen, did not show the flexibility that it claims to have and only offered me a few pre-packed options to pay them in full whether I could access the building or not. WeWork captivated me at first. Then I started seeing things change. As winter came and the heating system was not able to keep a constant temperature across the different spaces, my neighbors in offices close to windows froze while I overheated in my internal office. My beautiful office became useless when despite having my door closed I could not concentrate while hearing entire conversations and laughs coming from other members' offices far away. The promised phone booths never arrived. The memorable networking events offered turned into 5-minute gatherings in which people showed up, got the free popcorn that they could still get and left back to eat them in their offices.

Michael Flores: Plenty of open desk spaces. Could probably use a few more phone booths. Standard WeWork overall.
Response: Hi Michael, thanks so much for your feedback!

Willie Hicks: Never been inside, I was driving by and stopped at a red light and I just thought the building was absolutely gorgeous...

Spaces - District of Columbia, Washington - Spaces - NoMa: what do users think?

Leigh Habegger: While this is a neat space, I've had a really hard time working with the management. I was told when I toured that phone lines and conference rooms are included in rent, only to come to find out that they charge for any phone calls made OUTSIDE of DC and you do, in fact, have to pay for conference rooms. Additionally, when I arrived to move into my office, I had to watch as some poor woman assembled the basic office pieces that belong in my office. Furthermore, there was no welcome packet, no orientation, no nothing to help you figure out the process by which to reserve conference rooms (at a cost), telephone booth rooms, protocol for mail, etc. And lastly, my key fob for the women's locker STILL doesn't work. I would not recommend this place and won't be renewing my lease here.

Emma Dillon: Worked here for a year. The common spaces are nice and there’s a gym which is a huge plus. It’s in the same building with REI, a spinning studio, barre studio and it’s close to Union Market. A new brewery is opening in the same building soon too. Cons: There is only one tiny water spout for drinking water for the entire office that is slow and frequently has a line. My firm opted to pay for water delivery - an expense we shouldn’t have had. They do not clean the INSIDE of offices (just the common spaces). This is a pretty basic service an office should provide and over a year without vacuuming etc offices do get very dirty. Also, the conference rooms are confusing to reserve and expensive. You get one free hour a day in a conference room, and then have to pay for any additional time over an hour, which adds up. Other shared work spaces have water coolers, clean your offices after hours, and provide monthly credits conference rooms — because frankly these should be basic services.

Scott Royster: This company is a sham. Be warned that when you exit your lease they say on their website you will get your security deposit back in 30 days then they tell you 30-45 days and for me it has been going on two months with no reimbursement. I believe it’s possible they are suffering from a serious cash flow deficiencies and may not be able to make good on their obligations. I plan to sue them once the courts re-open post-Covid. Be very careful dealing with this company. Hopefully the pandemic shuts down horrible companies like this once and for all.

Ebony Lea: SPACES NoMa has a vibe that you just have to experience. It has a welcoming and open environment that fosters creativity. The events are fun but not over the top. Since I moved here in July 2017, my clients have given me positive feedback about the space.

Loo Joao: A new, cool co working office in the NoMa part of DC. This is in the Uline Arena building next to REI. The place is huge, and has everything you need for a modern workplace: multiple co-working options, free wifi, gym, parking, coffee, happy hours and a patio.

William Shield: A really, COOL, spot to work and a great building

Eddie Smith: I deliver their mail

Tiffany Ginyard: My phone get no service in this place.

Wayne Evans: Great work space

Elizabeth Bandy: Lovely

WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Khoi Nguyen: I was not happy hearing that I had to be in work training for a couple of days. Once they said it was at a WeWork I knew it was going to be fun. This a 3 level location with some parts under construction. It maybe large for some with over +20 rooms available to rent. The espresso machines, multiple kitchens, neon lighting, ping pong tables and comfortable seating with plush pillows really sets this place apart. This has to be my favorite DC WeWork location. I've been to about 3 and this one really sets the bar. The ceilings are high, they have outdoor seating (access to the inside of the actual building), space is spotless and the staff is great. We had some issues with not being able to connect to the monitor and it was fixed within minutes. Garage parking is really easy to find and the metro is less than a 5 minute walk from this location. Another thing to consider when looking for a location is the restaurants. There are over 20 within a 2 block radius and so much variety.

Anita Issagholyan: This community staff is very friendly and always helpful. I have been in this space for three plus months and have had no problems throughout that time period. Community staff is very supportive of the members while helping to provide a very bright and enjoyable experience in the We Work community. Wonderful rooftop view that always impresses guests and clients!

Nizar Farsakh: A large number of rooms with a good Central space for hanging out. The rooms are well-equipped and with good enough soundproofing. It would have been better if the rooms were a bit bigger even if that means less number of rooms. Also it was particularly annoying that access to the building is very restricted and there is rarely a person to open the door to the building for you. We ended up losing a full 20 minutes of our meeting because we couldn't get someone to open the door

Shivani K: This place is like a maze! Amazing space for events, conference rooms, work / study areas. Cool looking furniture and very well decorated / planned space. We rented a space for an event, this place can accommodate multiple events at the same time. The folks were easy to work with!

LOVStudios: Tonight is my first visit to this location, attending an event. I have attended every We Work opening and am a member of the Shaw location. This is one of the better designs with open space, as I can see from the 1st floor. I have yet to see how staff interacts and space serves the actual businesses. But as a location for events for small-medium businesses, it is a great location, near multiple metro, and The White House-if that's important to you.

Paul Katz: We're actually a full tenant here. We have a nine-seater office and a two-seater office. Overall it has been a pleasant experience. Here are the pluses: * Nicely appointed offices. Modern nice-looking wooden desks, plenty of network and power hookups. Overall, just nice looking * A full and engaged WeWork staff, from facilities to hospitality * Stylish and functional conference rooms. There is a hint of stinginess in the sense that prime-time reservations cost double, but so far, running out of credits hasn't been a problem. * Access to other WeWork locations with reservation. Nice to have. * Private call rooms - These look small on the tour, but they are very effective for grabbing a laptop and having a private conference call. I do it often out of politeness for my office mates. * Cold Brew Coffee on tap - a very nice plus * Free Building Gym with decent locker rooms * Overall, just a nice A grade building I'm not dropping a star for this, as it's really something WeWork would have trouble controlling; we had a VERY LOUD F-BOMB DROPPING set of neighbors in the office next door our first month, and it goes right through the glass. Arguably, your sanity may depend somewhat on the state of your neighbors, albeit fortunately, I think that was fringe case. Our new neighbors are professionals as opposed to a loud version of the Entourage cast who used to be next door. Perhaps what was recently impressive was how the WeWork staff dealt with a recent office issue. This is the first cold winter at the WeWork White House, and keeping some of the back 8th floor offices warm has been an ongoing challenge. The staff has met this challenge with offers of temporary alternative offices, hot chocolate, and repairs where needed (drywall, insulation). Things can and do go wrong with anything new, but I think they have risen to the challenge admirably. In short, this is a nice WeWork in a nice building in a nice location.

Ann Yang: Amazing team and space. As a small company it's awesome to have a community everyday. So many personal and professional relationships have come out of being part of WeWork! Could not recommend it enough.

Joe O'Connor: It's a really cool space and the staff seemed very supportive and friendly. Seems like a great place for a start-up or a creative organization. Loved that beer came along with free coffee in the cafe.

Charise Van Liew: Lovely space. Great location and amenities. Amazingly helpful staff.

Warren David: I have been in business for many years and recently "discovered" WeWork in Washington DC. WeWork is one of the most creative and innovative concepts of shared office space to hit this planet in recent times. Unlike other office share concepts, WeWork is an actual "community" of corporations, and entrepreneurs working together in a positive and energetic environment. The associates at WeWork are genuinely interested in building your business--offering networking opportunities with other associates, and informing community members of opportunities to help their businesses grow. I strongly recommend WeWork if you are looking for a location where your business can flourish and prosper.

WeWork: what do users think?

Peyton Doyle: I think this might be my fav WeWork in DC! It was just completed at the end of 2019 and you can tell. It is gorgeous, spacious and a great place to work. The staff is friendly and the location is super convenient. I’d recommend this WeWork to anyone!

Joel Richardson: Great WeWork location. Plenty of space, friendly staff, and delicious coffee.

Adriana Cortes: Clean and well illuminated place to work. Near different restaurants to have lunch. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. The ping pong table is a fun highlight.
Response: Hi Adriana, we're thrilled to hear you are enjoying your WeWork experience!

The Yard: what do users think?

beyondTabu: Really nice area. Lots of new buildings with residences and many restaurants.Lots of people chilling and there was a game the day we visited so it was very busy and parking took a while.

Jamil Castillo: The Yard is an excellent place to get your work done. The atmosphere in this place is just incredible and it makes you feel productive. There are many places to sit and get inspired to get the most difficult tasks done. The community managers are super helpful and nice. The view from the rooftop is unbeatable. They have unlimited coffee, water and many kitchen supplies. There is a Trader Joe’s right there also, in case you need to do grocery shopping or grab something for lunch. There are many places around there to grab lunch as well. Location is definitely convenient for people that have to go to Congress a lot for work.
Response: Thank you, J!

Cole Kalenak: Still finishing construction when I had a meeting there. Overall very nice. The new Sephora on the ground level (which I believe to be the first on Capital Hill) may cause some traffic.
Response: Thanks for your review, Cole! Hope you can visit again soon and see the completed space.

Marsel Gray: If I could give more stars I would. This place is amazing for your office needs. If you are not using it for your small to medium business than you are falling behind. It has the innovative approach new, young businesses want with all the resources that made prior generations successful. But more than just beauty and appeal, the staff is even more amazing. They are friendly, problem solving, and fast! I am constantly amazed with how polite and quick to address any concerns they are.
Response: Thanks Marcel! So glad you are having a great experience. We love having you as a part of our community!

Will Hand: Incredible place to work. We have been tenants for many months now. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The offices are upscale, with plenty of amenities. Metro across the street. Trader Joes literally 5 feet from the building. Coffee and espresso machines on tap. Plenty of special and events. What more could you ask for? Oh wait, did I mention the absolutely stunning rooftop terrace and event space?
Response: Thanks, Will! We’re so glad you love it as much as we do!

Michael Rekola: I had the chance to visit the Yard and work with Adrian. First, not to compare apples and oranges but The Yard: Eastern Market is the best co-working spaces I've visited in DC. Second, the location is amazing. Third, the atmosphere - most co-working spaces feel like a "dorm-room-startup-space", whereas the only word that describes the Yard and their staff - PROFESSIONAL. Lastly, shout out to Adrian for his amazing spirit and work ethic. He'll take good care of all your business needs!
Response: Thanks so much, Michael! We appreciate the love and kind words!

Benjamin Zapp: Conceptually, the facilities are similar to WeWork but the vibe is a bit more professional. The place has gotten better as occupancy has started to reach good levels, but it could be better. WeWork still exceeds as far as simple things like fruit water. Building management has been slow to provide services while the rest of the building is built-out for tenants. The gym and bicycle changing rooms, which have showers, still do not provide towel service like every other Class A building in Washington, DC. The building has been open for 1 year and is probably 75% leased. This is outside the control of The Yard, but considering there are no gyms in the area, it is a real inconvenience. If you absolutely need to be on Capitol Hill, it is very good co-working location. And it probably will get better with time.
Response: Hi Ben, thank you for your feedback. The bicycle racks are now clear. Feel free to send any additional feedback our way to feedback@theyard.com.

John Heinemann: Modern and classy, get all the space you need for your new business and none that you don't. It's a quick metro ride away from Capitol Hill. It gives you enough distance to be able to breathe and actually get some work done.
Response: Thanks so much, John!

jj mites: A very nice place to work in an office other than your own. Friendly people networking and brainstorming, in harmony. Private offices, ready & able to expand when you are ready to grow. Shared offices with other professionals, make it much easier to get work accomplished. Expand Evolve Enjoy
Response: Thanks, JJ! If you have any additional feedback, feel free to send us a note at feedback@theyard.com.

Secrett Happy Place: This place has a sort of Men In Black feel to it as soon as you walk in. Its great upstairs. Feels like a regular office space with more color. It has full kitchens! Also little kitchen spaces.
Response: Thank you for your review!

Hera Hub DC: what do users think?

Catherine Robertson: Hera Hub is a fantastic place to rent a room for a meeting, and my clients ALWAYS comment on what a great space it is (good for my organization), but it is also a really unique co-working space. I have been a member for over 5 years, and I honestly would not have been able to start and run my nonprofit without this space. It is run by the multi-talented Julia Westfall, who is interested in every member and every business and nonprofit, and is always bringing in inspiring events, speakers, classes, etc to support the community. Highly highly recommend!
Response: Thanks so much, Catherine, for sharing your experience as part of the Hera Hub community! It was been wonderful to see how your non-profit has grown and the impact you are having on teens, young adults and their families. So glad we've been able to play a part in that by providing the space and support you need!

Meghan O'Rourke: Hera Hub DC is a versatile co-working space that has a spacious open concept area with conference rooms and individual offices for a more private space for members. It is also a great event space option for non members. I recently held an event there and Julia was so helpful, flexible, and had all the necessities for a great event (space, easily moveable tables, music, fridge for food storage, etc). I hope to host another event at Hera Hub again in the future!
Response: Thanks so much, Meghan! It was a pleasure to have you and your colleagues here for your event! So glad you were happy with the event space and I appreciate you sharing such kind comments! Please come back any time!

Carolina Espinal: Hera Hub was a perfect location for hosting an in-person/virtual workshop. It had all of the elements to make the facilitation of this meeting smooth and Julia was immensely helpful in accommodating our reservation. I'm especially happy I was able to find a space built by and for women entrepreneurs. I look forward to hosting another event in this space!
Response: Thanks so much, Carolina! So glad that it helped you facilitate your workshop and we be delighted to have you back anytime! Appreciate you taking the time to do a review for us!

Linda Howard: Hera Hub DC is an awesome co-working space. Julia Westfall has created a welcoming hub for women entrepreneurs and offers many options for both members and non-members to gain value by participating. The webinars and masterminds are very valuable and I've gained many solid connections and built many long-lasting friendships and partnerships through my participation in many of the activities! The monthly masterminds are also great. I typically attend this hybrid event online and it is easy to hear and participate actively, as if I were in the room. If you join the masterminds, this is an opportunity to speak up and participate actively, not via chat. Julia does a lot to make sure that everyone has equal opportunities to participate.
Response: Linda, thank you so much for your review! I'm delighted that your participation in our events has led to such great outcomes for you and your business! As always, you bring a lot to the table as well and your feedback on the hybrid model of the mastermind was very helpful! Again, many thanks!

Dheemanth Manjunath: Overall Experience: Having planned a 11-member retreat, on behalf of our organization, to be hosted at Hera Hub DC was an absolute delight! The level of professionalism, attentiveness, cooperation, and courteousness displayed by the staff, and CEO Julia Westfall, went above and beyond! I could not be more thankful and grateful for Hera Hub DC for a wonderful time and smooth logistical planning that went into pulling off a fantastic retreat. 5/5 would recommend to anyone to book a conference room/meeting space here, and would return if the need were to ever arise again! Pricing: Given the area, the price is definitely competitive and hard to beat. We, as non-members, received a quote for an all-day retreat in their medium conference room that was too good to pass! When a technological issue arose, we were, complimentarily, upgraded to their large conference room, which was more spacious and well-received by the attendees. Amenities: Complimentary coffee and tea flowing, white boards and TVs to use in their conference rooms, as well as fridge space to house food for our attendees and for our social thereafter, what more could you ask for? The experience was made that much more premium with their outstanding care and support in helping me to carry food items, supplies, and the like to and from delivery vans into the conference rooms. Thank you so much Hera Hub DC! May I have another retreat to plan to be able to visit again!
Response: Dheemanth, thanks so much for your very thorough and thoughtful review! It was such a pleasure to have you all here at Hera Hub and I appreciate all you did to take care of the space as well! I'm so glad it worked out so well for your team! We aim to please! You are welcome back anytime!

Lauren Stewart: There are truly not enough positive words to be able to accurately capture the immense impact that Hera Hub D.C. has had on both myself and my business in such a short span of time. I first moved to Washington, D.C. right before the pandemic hit, and after a year of living through quarantine in a brand new city, I felt very isolated and disconnected from the business community— that all immediately changed from the moment I became a member at Hera Hub D.C. Within 30-days of joining, I have become more connected, networked and supported in my business and career goals than I have been in the past 12+ months. The owner of Hera Hub has gone above and beyond to help me make the right D.C. connections, as well as helping me best utilize and take advantage of their wide range of industry experts and resources that I need in order to achieve my business goals. And, one of my favorite membership perks is that even though I’m at the D.C. location, I still get access and opportunities to network and connect with Hera Hub members who are located throughout California— they truly provide you with an “East to West Coast” network. In terms of the actual physical office space, just imagine what your ideal working environment would be like, and that’s exactly what Hera Hub D.C. provides. The office space is functionally designed for you to achieve productivity and receive creative inspiration. The space has small to large sized conference rooms, multiple phone booths, art installations and every other office amenity you may need. The surrounding area is very lovely, with lots of options for food and parking. Additionally, the members at Hera Hub D.C. are not only a pleasure to be around, but they are truly inspiring through their own work as well. Being a female entrepreneur, it’s very important that I’m surrounded by other high performing female colleagues— Hera Hub D.C. is a place where you are not only encouraged and supported, but uplifted and inspired to be and show up as your best self. I have joined other co-working spaces in the past, and none come close to the great benefits I’ve received through my Hera Hub membership. I am so glad I decided to join, and I would highly recommend a membership to any woman who’s an entrepreneur, business owner, or remote worker who just needs a space to be productive and feel supported.
Response: Lauren, thanks so much for your kind words! It's wonderful to hear the positive impact our community has for women business owners. Our virtual programming and networking has taken the support we offer to our members to the next level. I appreciate all you do to support fellow members and the community as well as our Public Relations GURU. It's through members like you who volunteer their time to support the community and ecosystem that makes the difference for us! Again, thanks so much!

Susannah Stevens: When I joined Hera Hub, my business was little more than an idea, and I was unsure of myself. Julia Westfall encouraged me, advised me, and welcomed me into an amazing network of women all building their dreams. Now my business is taking off, and Julia and Hera Hub continue to be invaluable resources. This is true for everyone who walks in the door--Julia is a natural connector, and takes joy in helping women reach their potential. I can't recommend Hera Hub enough!
Response: Thanks so much Susannah! I appreciate you sharing your story since I know that there are many other people who are just starting out with their business that could use the support and encouragement of a wonderful community! It's really wonderful to see you moving forward with your business!

Jodi Ochstein: Where else but Hera Hub could you elevate wine and women? My client, SommStock hosted a sold out wine tasting at Hera Hub in Friendship Heights in order to elevate women entrepreneurs in the wine industry. The space was ideal and the owner, Julia, made sure everything ran smoothly. Hera Hub is the place to be for women who are building their "Fempires".
Response: Jodi, it was such a pleasure to have you and SommStock hold your wine tasting here! Not surprised it was sold out, the food and wine were delicious!

Allison Pierre: Working with Julia has been a joy. Hera Hub was a true savior as I created my consulting business in criminal justice reform. The practical advice and exposure to key business concepts was critical for my understanding of how to become a social entrepreneur. Also, working with other students provided the guidance and support I needed. Hera Hub is a game-changer for women who want to make impact.
Response: Thanks so much Allison! You are doing amazing and much needed work in the criminal justice reform space. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and working with you! So glad to hear it's making a difference!

Diana Acosta: HeraHub was a really great working space to hold our Georgetown University team retreat for planning! It was centrally located with all amenities needed for a fruitful day. Julia and the rest of the staff were so supportive, attentive and prepared! We were beyond impressed with their thoughtful set up and readiness for us to feel comfortable and prepared. Julia and the HeraHub team clearly work diligently to ensure that people can focus on their goals during their time there. Thank you Julia and HeraHub for being integral to a successful day!
Response: Diana, we are so glad that you had such a productive retreat! Thanks so much for sharing your review and how you found your experience with us. We enjoyed having you here with us! Hope you will join us again if you need an outside meeting room for your retreat!

WeWork Office Space & Coworking: what do users think?

Stephanie Eche: WeWork Apollo has been a great place to work out of AND host our workshops. We love this community and the staff is excellent.

Jeremy Green Eche: Wonderful space. I have a two-desk office here for my small trademark law firm and I love coming to work every day. I highly recommend this place for freelancers as well as mid-sized companies.

Brent Cohen: I loved working at WeWork Apollo. The staff was awesome and the environment was way better than coffee shop hopping or working exclusively from home, which is what I had been doing. The team went out of their way to make my 3 year-old son feel welcomed when we showed up together for pizza parties or other community building events. I would definitely recommend WeWork Apollo to anyone who is looking for a flexible office space – or anyone who (like I was) is starting their own business.

Stephanie: I've always known that I wanted to use WeWork when I started my business, and I am happy that I choose the new Apollo location. The facilities and their aesthetic is wonderful, but more importantly the community mangers are incredible! They are always quick to help with any issues and they show a level of care for the members that is incredibly valuable to mine and others' experience.

Ross Perkins: This WeWork is simply the best. The staff here is super accommodating, friendly, and professional. Whenever there's an issue – however minor – someone here has it taken care of quickly. The office is always kept in top-notch condition. Plus, there's always something fun going down to break up the workday. Super happy to have my business based out of WeWork Apollo.

Johnny McGowan: Our firm has rented space at the Apollo since the first day it opened, and we have had a great experience! The WeWork staff is always friendly and helpful, and the building is beautiful (great rooftop as well). We also love that it's dog-friendly. Great place to work or have a beer.

Amanda Sweet: We've been members of We Work for 1 1/2 years and at Apollo since they opened in July. The staff is lovely, very welcoming and have lots of lovely events for members during the workday and post work. They have gone above and beyond to ensure our personal happiness and work with us as we expand and need more space. It's a pleasure having a smiling face welcoming you in the morning and wishing you well at night.

Sasha Palmquist: Making the decision to join We Work Apollo was the best professional move I have made this year. The members are all high energy and engaged in doing great work. Whether meeting over lunch, at tea time, or during a community sponsored evening event like yoga or terrarium making, I have expanded my personal and professional network significantly in a very short period of time. The space itself has allowed me to plan and host successful client meetings, while the on site staff do an amazing job of making me feel welcome each day as well as scheduling events, trouble shooting printers, managing package deliveries, and generally attending to the care and feeding of the community.

Lars Dabney: We've been at WeWork since a couple years back, and moved to the Apollo building as soon as it opened since it's right in our home H Street neighborhood. The space is awesome, beautifully set up, and the team are kicka**. There's a pretty much non-stop series of events, happy hours, breakfasts and the like, and a bunch of great fellow startup hustlers in the building to get to know. As a huge plus, it's dog friendly, so my business partner's dog Kaylee gets to join us for the day and has made more friends than we have. If you're running a startup, small business, or even are more established and want in on the H Street scene, I can't recommend WeWork enough. As web developers, we've met a ton of clients through WeWork over the years (and hired a few other WeWork members as well), so the membership more than pays for itself. Overall, maximum thumbs up.

Daveed Silva: Great workspace. Faithful to the wework experiencie. Friendly staff. Good space to work and meet. Coffee and beer. Will definitely come back.

Industrious Thomas Circle: what do users think?

Joshua Lamel: I have worked in multiple co-working facilities, and this has been my favorite, by far. Industrious has a wonderful team of employees who go above and beyond for their members. From Emily and Jarrod to Joyce, I can not speak high enough about them. In addition, the amenities far outpace other co-working spaces with daily breakfast and afternoon snacks, free Lacroixs and sodas, and high end loose leaf tea included. The actual co-workers are all friendly and respectful. They clean up after themselves and I have mad friends while working there. It is truly a community.

Michelle Chang: Friendliest staff ever creates a respectful and friendly working culture among all the businesses. The space is well lit, sophisticated, and well cared for. If you can't find space at this Industrious location I encourage you to find a spot in another nearby Industrious. I've dropped into other locations in the DMV and all this (people, culture, local snacks) holds true.

Petula Alicia Fraser: Industrious in Washington DC had a promotion where they allowed you to host an event in their space for free. I hosted 2 free workshops, the professionalism and hospitality industrious offered was incredible. Emily K. was my contact person and she was amazing. I was even able to provide my workshop participants with refreshments which included wine and prepared by Emily K. The refreshments were all complements of Industrious. I can’t thank Industrious and Emily K. enough for allowing me to host my workshop at their beautiful venue. I have such positive, pleasant and enjoyabl memories from my experience there and from my workshop.

Scott Gemmell-Davis: Couldn't have asked for a better coworking experience. Industrious provides breakfast every morning, access to a gym downstairs, and unlimited La Croix - among so many other things. Plus, the staff is fantastic and always ready to help. After working at several other coworking spaces previously, this one takes the cake hands-down.

Jennifer B: Love this spot, Emily, Jarrod, Ethan have been fabulous for last 18 months. Very flexible and helpful. Love the quiet professionalism of the office space and companies here. View, location, perks and support services as reliable as a permanent office space.

Industrious Mt. Vernon Triangle: what do users think?

Sam Hubbard: I've had a great experience working outside of Industrious at 650 Mass Ave. The space is very large, clean and well decorated. There are ample snacks provided throughout the day that are high quality and tasty. There is a parking garage connected to the building so driving in on those days when its raining or cold is a breeze! Within Industrious, the staff are pleasant and friendly and always happy to help.

Grace Jimenez: I rented a conference room here for a week while visiting family in the area. I needed a place that would be quiet and distraction free. The space was beautiful and conducive to productivity every single day. Julie and Mary were awesome with getting me set up and answered any questions I had, and were just all around super accommodating, warm, and welcoming. They made me feel like I was a part of the community of teams and individuals that have office space there - not just visiting/renting for a week. They go above and beyond to make it a fun but productive space with delicious snacks, coffee, and even puzzles for a nice mid-day break. I truly can’t recommend Industrious enough. If you are looking for an office space - look no further!

Kyle Ruempler: Our team moved into Industrious in November 2021 and has had an extremely positive experience since (And truthfully, we were originally planning a September move-in and then pushed back for safety reasons; Industrious was super flexible and communicative throughout that process). The staff are welcoming and friendly, helpful when we have questions, and generally do an excellent job of supporting our needs in the coworking space. They go above-and-beyond to make it a fun yet still productive space to be in, with regular events (Holiday Door Decorating, Valentine's card making, etc) and food/drink aplenty. Finally, the facilities are really wonderful - a nice variety of private and open spaces, as well as conference rooms with A/V capabilities, natural light, and comfortable seating. Overall, very happy here!

Tiveeda Stovall: From the day I took my tour, I knew that this had to be our new workspace. Great and welcoming staff, immaculate accommodations, and snacks! Oh, the snacks! I didn't even know I needed a healthy afternoon snack. Mary and Julie really take care of you here. My summer interns like it so much that they come in on virtual days to work in person. I am ready to make my short-term agreement into a long-term stay.

Alejandro Martinez: Unbeatable staff, all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are out of this world. Breakfast provided every morning and always delicious. My first recommendation for anyone looking for an office in DC.

Melanie Ogleton: Highly recommend...the staff are amazing, thoughtful, and so attentive. The overall space is beautiful and the amenities, snacks, and planned activities are nice added touches that help build community with other Industrious members.

Alex Blance: A beautiful, well-maintained, co-working space. The best bit though? The staff. Nothing is too much effort for the ever-thoughtful Julie, and Mary is always on hand with a big smile and the ability to solve a problem. Thanks!

Joseph Caruso: I’ve only been with Industrious for a couple weeks but really like the environment and community. The presence and subtle humor of Julie and Mary just make the day that much more enjoyable to come into the office.

Sam Teigen: Julie and Mary are great managers. Friendly, responsive and always going the extra step to make you feel well taken care of

George Horiatis: Industrious has been the best office space I have worked in, the staff is fantastic, the complementary services such as their breakfast in the mornings are great, and the space itself is both professional and functional.

Carr Workplaces K Street - Coworking & Office Space: what do users think?

Sandy Roberts: My law firm has been renting office space and utilizing the accompanying administrative services from Carr Workplaces K Street location for more than 5 years. The location is ideal, and the building and suite accommodations are first rate. Our offices have great impressive views and definitely makes a strong first impression with new clients. The Carr staff is always professional, responsive and always willing to attend to the needs of our attorneys and staff. The Office Manager is terrific and goes out of her way to ensure that her clients are satisfied with her team's performance. We could not ask for a better location and support team for our practice.

Studio by Tishman Speyer: what do users think?

KyungSun Lee: Been at the Studio co-working space for almost a year now with our nonprofit (team of 4). It's a beautiful, modern space with plenty of different options for working for all styles and moods from the comfy couches, the rooftop to open table spaces. The Studio Manager/Associate - Joseph and Erin - are amazingly helpful and have connected us to great resources and people within the space. They are also intentional about hosting happy hours, holiday events, and snacks which I appreciate! I highly recommend this space if you're a remote worker or your organizing is looking for office space.

Matthew Costello: My organization has been working out of Studio for almost a year now, and I can't quite convey in words how much we enjoy working out of the space and more importantly, how fantastic their staff are to members and our guests alike. Before we relocated to the space, we toured many co-working type set-ups and ultimately decided on Studio at 900 19th Street was the right fit for us. You really can’t go wrong with the concept as it manages to achieve the feel of a close-knit office environment while providing the amenities of a boutique hospitality establishment. I'd be remiss if I didn't highlight Studio's staff and their willingness to provide the best environment for members to thrive in. This dedication to customer service is what really sets them apart from other co-working spaces in town, and for that I'm appreciative.

Latoya Peterson: I had been shopping for a coworking space since 2018 and wanted a place with great services (mail and packages mostly), a great location, and a great community and after evaluating WeWork and Cove, I've been a happy client of Studio since close to their opening. It's a beautiful, elegant space (that I've used for photo shoots), an amazing rooftop, and a world class staff that really goes above and beyond for their members. The Zo Lounge and gym are wonderful amenities and pre-Covid there were a lot of member mingle events. Post Covid, the Erin and Joseph go above and beyond to ensure that the space is safe. Most of the space is now touchless and they are always happy to help plan times to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable, even without a dedicated office. Love this place!
