Michaela Granger: This is a fantastic store and the owner, Soyini, is amazing! I came by one day when the store was closed, but Soyini was inside and allowed me to come in and shop even though it was her off hours. She was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The store is so cute inside with so many wonderful children’s items to choose from. We love supporting small, local, black owned business - especially ones that sell books and toys that represent my children. I can’t say enough good things about this store!

Julien Garman: This is my go-to shop for all our nieces and nephews birthdays! They’ve curated such a beautiful selection that doesn’t feel overwhelming. I once had the shop put together a little gift basket for a friend’s baby shower when I was in a pinch and couldn’t make it out to the shop - I just gave them my budget and they put it together for me with a little note. This gem is worth the visit (online or in person!!)
Chelsea I.: Three Littles is often a weekend walk destination to see the cute things or at minimum the cute pup, Monkey! I’ve gone in for quick little $10 valentine gifts, or more curated shower, birthday, etc. gifts. I love that the items are high quality and from reputable brands. Elizabeth the owner, and the other shop employees are so kind and helpful. There’s definitely a lack of “nice” baby stores in DC, so I’m thankful this is close to us. Love this store & will continue to be a repeat customer!

Jennifer Calhoun: This is the best store to go for babies, kids, and adults! It’s truly essential, especially as a first time parent. Every book I’ve purchased from here has been my kid’s favorite, asked for again and again, and I never get tired of reading them either. I feel confident when she puts toys from Three Littles in her mouth that they are non toxic and baby safe. Elizabeth only stocks the best of the best and it’s so helpful — I have to do enough research on baby gear so I love shopping with confidence that whatever she has in store is something that kids will love. Her candles and self care items for parents/adults are also amazing, Driftwood is the perfect candle scent. There’s truly something here for every age and stage.

I love the ever-changing selection of beautiful and unique toys, clothes and accessories. It’s always a treat to stop in and see what’s new. Chuck L: We are SO happy that we found this store online! We were a little skeptical at first with buying an open box stroller, but we certainly have ZERO regrets! This thing was brand spanking new, as listed, without a single scratch. It could have been sold as brand new and no one would have known any different. Lindsey Smith: This place rules! I ordered a stroller on Amazon and they called me to verify that I actually wanted the Cruz model and not the Vista. They were right, I had ordered the wrong one! They told me how to fix it and re-order on Amazon. Instead I asked to order directly through them. (I’m not sure if it makes a difference on their end, but why not cut out Amazon when you can?) I ordered what I needed and got my stroller in just about a week. Abe was the guy who helped me along the way and he was truly awesome. Patient, super kind and thoughtful! Shira Gold: Not only did this place make it possible for me to purchase an amazing new stroller at a more affordable price by providing the previous model, but the customer service is phenomenal, truly above and beyond. It was shipped out quickly, and I was called to make sure I would be home to accept the order from Fedex by signature only. mary fisher: This company sold me a BOB stroller, I was very excited about it and the company did not come out with the car seat adaptor that it promised by the end of august. I was then told it would be available by the end of October, it wasn’t. So I was then unable to return the stroller as the return window had passed. I was hoping this company would help me out but they wouldn’t. They said they would take the return if I had the packaging, I spent weeks figuring out how to get packaging for the stroller as I had thrown out the box because I had no intention of returning it. when I finally contacted them to tell them I had acquired the BOB packaging for the stroller they said it had to have matching serial numbers on the box for the stroller. This has been HORRIBLE customer service. I wouldn’t buy from this company or BOB or Britax ever again.

Olga Solarte Allison: The place is located in an old building, staff was rude and didn’t seem to have a lot of Knowledge. Massage was bad, worst prenatal Massage ever! And I’m saying this because I had lots in different places. The massage room was very bright and the lady got very confuse when I asked her for an eye mask! Don’t waist your money!

Jennifer Adams: This store is truly truly wonderful. I love shopping here especially on the weekend with my two daughters. The atmosphere within store is great. There are toys for kids to play with and the selection is good. The prices can be high for some limited items, but they are usually fairly priced. Especially with toys that are hard to find at department stores and are soooo expensive on Amazon.
Pamela Davidson: Poor customer service. Bought a $35 fidget toy and as we walked off the store my child said they didn’t want it. We marched right back and asked to return it and we were refused due to Covid supply chain policy of only exchange or store credit which were not suitable option for us. No understanding and no flexibility. Love supporting little businesses and try to do as often as we can but surely never coming back right to this one.
Adriana Laticia: I just left the store.. and it seems like the ladies at the register are super nice to white customers only.. I’m latina, and the way they said, “have a great day” to every other customer after they left was nice.. but I didnt get that. I also asked for a blue gift bag and it seems like the lady wrapping my present wanted me to grab the blue gift bag myself, even though it was behind the counter..
Response: As you may know, this weekend is a market weekend in Georgetown meaning the store is exceptionally busy. Our employees try their absolute best to be courteous and friendly to everyone in the store, but you must remember, we are all human just like yourself. Someone may have forgotten to tell you “have a great day,” but that in no way means we are discriminating against you. Regarding the bag, again, we were very busy assisting all customers, including yourself, yesterday and in no way were asking you to help yourself. Ultimately, this is a black owned and very racially conscious business which takes great care in verifying our employees share our positive values. Therefore, this claim is very sad to hear. However, we would love to right this experience in any way we can so please contact the store owner at 202-714-4748, and we can hopefully resolve this.

Lexington Pierce: This store is lovely during the holidays. The Christmas music, vast selection of toys, and location can’t be beaten. A must visit on any trip through Georgetown!
J B: If you want to pay double, literally DOUBLE the price for toys, then shop here. I bought a Monopoly Game yesterday for $34 and realized when I got home that the exact same game was $17 on Target. Same with the LOL doll - $24 at this store and $12 at Target. This is unacceptable price gouging and shady business behavior. Even if you have to pay a Georgetown rents, that shouldn’t give you the right to manipulate parents and kids to the tune of doubling prices! I usually go to Sullivan’s and went here specifically to try to support a small business, but will never go back. If you want to support local, Sullivan’s is a much better option - polite staff, better selection, and much more reasonable prices.
Catie Revi: Was excited to shop here and support a black owned business, as a black family, only to be disappointed at the extreme mark up in prices. Ended up buy a stuffed animal for 136$ for our toddler that we later found on Amazon for 20$, along with other way overpriced toys. On top of that, store was a little dusty. Won’t be shopping here again.
Ayanna Miller: Owner Grace is a crook & unethical. Don’t shop here. I use to work here when I was a college student at Howard University in 2014-2015. I was a key holder for Grace and worked so hard because I was happy to support a small and Black owned business. Tugooh toys wasn’t doing so great and instead of admitting that she couldn’t afford to pay me anymore, Grace created a whole story and accused me of stealing money from the register. I asked for countless proof of this allegation, and Grace wouldn’t give it to me. She said if she did she would report it to the police (give the police the evidence and not show me) and I wouldn’t get my last pay check until after an investigation. I told her cool, do that then. Instead, she created further lies and tried to convince me to take my last pay check and go our separate ways (I was heading home for the summer). I never got that last paycheck, she never showed any proof of me stealing (there wasn’t any) and Grace essentially stole over $600 in wages from me. Don’t shop here, she’s also very anti-Black American as she is not from here and has made countless racist remarks against the Black American community. She did the same thing to another employee (lied about catching them stealing and then fired them) instead of just admitting that her business was slow and she had to lay us off.

Scott Selliers: While in town for my wife’s work, my son and I have been out exploring the city. We have never been much for buying tchotchkes as souvenirs, yet few things can bring back the memories of travel like a material thing found along the way. After visiting the gift shop at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and seeing the crummy toy offerings, I told my son we’d find a real toy store - and Child’s Play Toys & Books is definitely that! We were greeted and assisted by passionate toy aficionados - professional retailers. Take your time when you visit this store - there’s a ton to see. Now my son has a quality toy that will bring back memories of our DC trip. We also had a puzzle gift wrapped for free at the counter as a gift for my father-in-law for watching our animals - this was the perfect store for us today! (You know you’re dealing with a serious store when they have an entire shelf dedicated to the best board game ever made - Catan!)

Martin Lucero: What an awesome story, great toys and games for people of all ages. The store is far bigger than you might first realize and they are incredibly well stocked. The staff are passionate and helpful. They were able to discuss Legos in detail with my seven year old son and help me find the perfect board game based on my vague requirements. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable.

Walt Nicholson: This is one of the best toy stores I’ve come across in years. If you have a child who needs a toy - it’s here. All ages, abilities and interests. Lots of fun educational toys as well as sheer joy. Big Lego section, model rockets and tons for little ones. The staff were super friendly and made perfect recommendations. So when he started going to CQC he was very stand off-ish & territorial. He started to turn the corner and look forward to coming to school & see his friends. He tells me “Bye Mommy!! I see friends!!” and he is more than happy to share everything. He is 2yrs old (26 months) and his communication skills are so advanced that our pediatrician was amazed. He knows his colors, alphabets & numbers (1-20) by sight and randomly. Well I can go on and on about how much we love this place. I definitely will recommend Chantelle Quality Care to anyone that is seeking child care for newborn and/or toddler aged children.

sharee richardson: My 3 year old son has been going to Kid Village for almost 7 months now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours. I can see the growth and learning every day! The teachers are able to separate the younger and older toddlers so they get more 1 on 1 time and best of all, the children seem very happy there. I will note, my son had terrible separation anxiety when he first started going and was not great at taking naps, but the teachers were extremely patient with him! When I see my son interact with the other kids/“friends” as he calls them, they give him hugs whenever he comes and goes and love to share toys with him. My son has learned to count to ten in Spanish and has learned the primary colors in Spanish. The daycare is also great at keeping parents in the loop through the ‘Child Pilot App”, where parents receive updates on the curriculum, potty/diaper changes, when they have taken a nap and share pictures of their activities. It’s very nice to know that he is in a caring environment while he isn’t home. If you live in Shepherd Park or a nearby neighborhood, I would definitely recommend.

Kelani Adams: I don’t write reviews as much, but I just want to first say that overall this is a great day care. My nephew goes here and every time I picked him up I feel so welcomed I’m always getting greeted and it is always smiles. A few days I ask someone the name of 2 teachers that stood out to me the 3 times I have came and I believe that the names were Rashida and Tara. Every single time I see them I see the love that they have for the kids that attend it’s always smiles and fun fun fun and learning I love it so much and even the love they have for my nephew is so heart warming. They would even have a conversation with me at times and ask how my day was. teachers that I see interact with kids like that are amazing it makes me want to send my child but he’s older now. I want to say keep up the great work!!!!!!!! And thank you and keep teaching these babies because you never know who’s watching
