Ben Sharp: I wish I could give Minuteman Press more than 5 stars. The customer service I received from Jada was excellent. She was quick to reply to my request for a quote, and provided a better price that several competitors could not match. Minuteman Press was also able to provide perfect bound binding services that some competitors could not provide because they said our booklets were too small. They completed the project quickly and delivered it to my office. Most importantly, my employer is thrilled with the quality of the final product. This was the first time that we used Minuteman Press, but it certainly won't be the last. Thank you Jada and the rest of the Minuteman team!

Sindy Duran: This review is ONLY to shout out Jordan and his excellent customer service!! I was walking the area and remembered I had to print enlarged photos, print, sign and scan documents. From the time I walked in and left, then came back to pick up my print and needed additional services, Jordan helped me with everything! There were plenty of customers walking in and he handled everyone with respect and serviced each one. He was pleasant, professional and SUPER helpful! Initially I didn't know what size I needed my enlargement to be and he showed me all the sizes and shared prices; very knowledgeable too!

Ashlina Chin: Minuteman Press is fantastic! I've used them at several of my jobs and have always had a great experience. This particular location took direction very well. During the pandemic, we've been using the side door, as opposed to our main door, of our building and asked them to leave my materials at the front desk with security. Not only did they deliver my materials earlier than my deadline, they made sure to follow through with my complicated request and delivery instructions. I will be sure to use them again in the future!

Jack Wilmerding: Minuteman delivered magnificently on a set of large dry-erase prints we needed for a client. They also worked with us on a short-turnaround request when none of the national stores like OfficeMax or FedEx could. Beyond that, their prices are very reasonable compared to their competition! All around an 11/10 experience. Special thanks to Glen for his excellent communication.

Dana Hurtik: Minuteman Press did an amazing job printing our wedding invitation envelopes and return envelopes. Their staff is kind, responsive, helpful and their turnaround is extremely quick. I was able to get my last-minute documents printed out that same evening. This place also has absolutely amazing customer service! Michael is incredibly friendly and positive. undercoverblk: I was in a serious bind: it was Saturday afternoon, and my usual printer—a major chain print service department—was not picking up, and I needed a rush order printed Sunday for a funeral Monday morning at 9 AM. The job was luxe: 200 copies, heavy (80# or 100#) weight paper, tabloid, full-color edge-to-edge, and saddle stitch staple binding along the center fold. Did I mention it was for a funeral? Family tense and emotional and I’m trying to navigate Adobe InDesign! 😫. However a Google search yielded eDiscovery Solutions. They were available 24 hrs. Worked weekends. Mike responded to my inquiry right away and said they’d be glad to help! Salvation! Said I’d get them the document by noon; however, at 10:30, I was still in the weeds. They gave me until 4 PM. I emailed a test document at 4:30, then a revised one at 6 and then further corrections at 8:30. Even though I was tying up their Sunday, they worked with me. Mike Phelps was gracious, understanding, and kind. I cannot communicate how utterly grateful I am for his kindness in my bereavement. By 10:45 I had picked up the programs which were outstanding! And they had used shrink wrap to protect the programs AND make them easier to transport. The programs were a huge success and made the difficult task of saying a final goodbye to a loved one a little bit easier. Mike was affable and committed. His team, dedicated and competent. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They set the standard for good business. I will use them for everything and tell all my friends and colleagues. They set a high standard! Even better—their quotes are competitive, and in my case fair, and still the best rate I’ve seen.

Their graphic designers have even identified and fixed problems that our in-house graphic designers missed! Their prices are very competitive and their customer service is unparalleled. Ezra Lizio-Katzen: I'm surprised by all of the glowing reviews, as my experience was quite different. I placed an order 3+ months ago for a banner with very detailed instructions, finished artwork, etc. From the start Raj seemed to have a hurried "yeah yeah no problem" type of attitude and I didn't get the impression he was that detail oriented. Of course the banner came out 2" too short (so it won't fit on my already mounted hardware). That was 2+ months ago, and I never heard from him until I followed up to check on the status a month ago, when I got an excuse that the material was out of stock. I've emailed him twice since then and have gotten no response.

Mike J.: Raj uses Ricky the squatter outside cvs the one who blast his music and annoy the whole community of 17. He used Ricky for cheap labor. Makes that old man lift heavy boxes for him and uses him for cheap labor. It’s disgusting the way raj uses that homeless man to help him like that in return for little tip. In return Ricky like a leach has hold on to staying on that block play his loud music as raj let him steal electricity from his store so if anyone who was asking why Ricky always is there is because of this quote on quote special Bond between Ricky and raj of base camp. The city council member have been alerted on this ad they are trying to find a way to stop Ricky from playing his music and staying in that area. Raj of base camp is responsible for the first quality of 17 street going downhill

Ashish Doshi: Exceptional service! On the recommendation of a co-worker, I had a scientific poster printed at Base Camp. The poster was printed on fabric so that I could fold it up and stow it in my luggage for the conference. The order process was incredibly easy, and I received a quote promptly along with a completion date. I planned to pick up the poster the day before leaving for the conference. Unfortunately, their fabric printer malfunctioned prior to printing my poster. However, I was immediately informed of the issue, and Raj worked with me to make sure I received the poster prior to leaving for the conference. Since I don't live in DC, Raj arranged for the poster to be delivered to me via courier the morning I left for the conference so that I had it in time. He was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure I received my poster before leaving. You will not find this kind of service at the big guys (FedEx Office) or the online printers. The poster also looked gorgeous and was printed on high-quality fabric. I would highly recommend Base Camp and plan to use them in the future!

John Crimmins: I have to agree, Basecamp is the best print shop in DC hands down. I think they have some of the best customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. Also they find solutions for your needs, rather than limiting what you can do as a "big-box store" print shop might. Their business is very community oriented meaning that they get to know their regulars, are very easy to work with, and they really go out of their way to get you exactly what you're looking for at a reasonable price and when you need it. 5/5 only because there's no 6/5.

Cameron Neal: Over the years, these guys have become my absolute go-to partner for any of my client needs. That's included posters, signs, postcards, stationary, business cards, etc etc. They're fast, price competitive and such a pleasure to work with each and every time. Hannah LePage: Went above and beyond - highly professional & prioritizes complete customer satisfaction. We got 3 different quotes for printing and installing our company logo vinyl onto our glass office door in our Charlotte office, and I would choose Heritage Printing again for our future work. Jason was prompt with communications, got us a formal quote right away up front so that we could make an informed decision, and his team delivered ahead of schedule. Being out of state, it can be easy to feel uneasy about taking a chance on a new vendor relationship. Jason and his team made us feel completely at ease with their level of professionalism, asking the right questions, prompt response times and moving the project along swiftly. From point of sale, they were able to print and install within a 1 week turn around time. Although the initial install was a bit off (and I couldn't be there in person since I work from our Austin location), Jason followed up with an install photo and we realized it was likely due to our measurements being miscalculated or us scaling the vinyl too large. Jason provided guidance in regards to his suggestions, and him and his team proactively worked with us to resolve the issue, took accountability, and returned the next day to fix the install and ensure it matched the approved proof. In any business, mistakes happen on both sides, and having ability to focus on the customer being happy and satisfied with the finished product instead of focusing on who was to blame - is the kind of experience that make loyal customers who want to do business with you. We're extremely happy with the finished product and how Heritage Printing delivered. Looking forward to working with them again soon.

Hannah Atallah: Lamar and Ca'Lan did an amazing job with an installation of a mural wall wrap for a local elementary school. They were very professional, flexible, responsive and diligent. The final mural was high quality and the colors printed beautifully. We first found Heritage when looking for vendors that could produce a couple of large step-and-repeat backdrop banners with a fast turnaround (within one week). Most vendors turned us away, until Heritage. Not only were they able to accommodate our needs with a fast turnaround, but they were incredibly helpful and responsive along the way. We were so impressed with their work that we turned to them again months later for a rather large order for canvas prints and a large collage-styled wall wrap for our office. Alexander called me back at 6 pm on a Friday as I was frantically calling trying to find alternatives for my wedding invitations after a disastrous first attempt at another print shop. The quote was well below what I expected, and Alexander kept checking in every step of the way, offering to help in any way possible as we were working through the first printer holding part of the project hostage. Their store front is currently closed due to the pandemic but they had a free courier service come and pick up the part from the first printer, and 36 hours later another free courier dropped off the completed project. When I bring a job to Wendy I know that she will help me figure out the best way to print it, what can and cannot be done, and an estimate of what it will cost. The printed product is great. Wish we'd had such service back home.

Blessing Haeeun Jee: Went on a Friday afternoon and there was only one other customer, so not busy at all, but the person working was quite rude to me and others he interacted with. Just ended up going to USPS a few blocks away, which is much cheaper and takes around the same time.

The laminating team always has my back with quick turnaround time - I’m a teacher and get a lot of charts laminated. They can handle large size charts too, which not even the place that sold me the chart paper could do. They take good care of my work at a good price! Even though she was stacking product, she stopped and took the time and care to ensure that my print was to my specifications. I was unable to pick it so I sent my friend. When I got home and reviewed the item it was perfect. I appreciate the extra care in packaging that was applied and hope her and her colleagues have a wonderful 2020!

Dave Watts: This is the best FedEx Office location I've seen. It's the last one the overnight shipping truck gets to, so you can get your package shipped at 20:45. I end up shipping a lot of next-day delivery documents and this is a lifesaver. But even better, the night crew is led by a really good manager. He makes a tremendous effort to make sure everyone is taken care of, and cracks a lot of jokes to keep the mood light. I had no idea there were so many angry people shipping packages at night, but he does his best to get them through.

Trix Kirkpatrick: Jamel and JoAnna were super helpful in a last minute bind(ing). I had some study materials to take care of last minute, and Jamel was super patient both over the phone when I inquired about midnight printing, & was even faster than the time he quoted me on when I was in the store waiting for the project to be done. He definitely is able to multitask, & both JoAnna and Jamel were super patient when dealing with three customers, one of them who had a bit of an attitude with them over what seemed to me like things they weren’t responsible for / in their control. Neither of them skipped a beat in their demeanor and positive attitude & they didn’t take my own stress over last minute projects to heart. If I ever pass through DC I will definitely pass through here again. Dave has it on point, and honestly if anyone has a bad review for the night crew, especially these two, then they might be the ones that these positive reviews are referring to.

Ashlee Davis: I'd like to give a huge praise to Jamal Coates who works at FedEx at 1612 K Street, Washington, DC. I recently had programs printed overnight for an event due to an emergency with my printer and Jamal went above and beyond to help me! Even though he was extremely busy with other customers, he ensured my order was completed perfectly and I learned from his colleague upon picking up my order early the next morning that Jamal stayed 5 hours past his shift to ensure my order was complete. I cannot thank Jamal enough for his stellar customer service!

Girl name Teri was on counter firstly she attended next person in line as I was waiting and then 3 people on counter were standing not attending as may be I was dropping off and asked for slip. I kept packaged on counter and then she wanted every package on weigh machine as for drop off boxes she doesn’t need to weigh. I drop off packages everyday this is the first time she asked me to do that. She is not capable of doing this job

CB DCDiva: Close to the 14th St exit at McPherson Sq Station, this fedex location provides full print services including banners and large signs. When i checked my order i noticed the grommets to hang my banners weren't on the corners. They quickly rectified that and got me back on my way pretty quickly. Good service and open long hours most days.

Jaehyeon Lee: I visited here with 3 packages.They helped everything to ship.They are nice and professional.

Larry Lindsey: Don't expect service during normal business hours. After standing in front of this place for 30 minutes, I had to walk 5 minutes to UPS just to get the same package delivered. I should have went to UPS first.

Jena Coen: I was in DC for a work trip and used this location for a big, complicated print order. After submitting my order online, I received a phone call from a really friendly team member (Michael) to make sure my special instructions were processed correctly. My order was ready ahead of schedule and was perfect! When I picked up my order, Michael was there to help me, and he was just as pleasant in person. I have used FedEx Office for the same project in numerous cities around the county and always end up having some sort of issue. This was by far the best service I have ever received and I highly recommend this location.

Petra Farrell: I never write reviews but I needed to give kudos to the David Flores and his team at the 1400 K St. FedEx. The staff was friendly despite being very busy. I had a complicated name tag project and David assisted me and even came back from another store location to pitch in. The staff goes above and beyond. I'll definitely turn to them in the future!

geoffrey koury: I was taking a month-long intensive course just around the corner from this business and started stopping in every other morning (very early.. about 7:30am) to print/copy/use paper-cutter and otherwise organize materials.. staff was unfailingly helpful. Also, I purchased a few products that helped me in organizing the aforementioned materials - one was a slick pop-out folder that elicited the interest of several of my colleagues!

Austin Graff: It's nice to have a FedEx one block from the McPherson Metro Station. This location is medium in size and I've always found the staff helpful. They have computers for you to print off of. They also sell any type of presentation type as well as calendars, books, gadgets, etc.

Dr Phot: Came down on a kind of a whim hoping I could get some scanning done. Due to COVID having the Public Library’s are closed and it’s hard to find a place to print, copy, and scan right now! But one I arrived a very helpful gentleman named Reggie proceeded to ask me some simple yet helpful questions. We were able to get it done without an appointment in which I was very lucky to get the services provided for a last minute ask on my end. I accidentally asked to have scanned more than I needed to and probably probably a little more than I expected but it was worth it for the great customer service and timely work. I will definitely be back.

Lucy Pakhnyuk: I contacted Blue Boy about a rush order after they were closed, and they called me as soon as they opened the next morning to confirm my order and start working on it. Although I had to cancel my order and can't speak to the level of printing quality, I was very happy with the customer service I received. They were incredibly attentive and responsive, and I will likely work with them in the future.

Renato Romano: Excellent. Every experience with these folks has been first rate. Around the corner (almost) from DCRA, they specialize in quick turn around for copies of large blueprints and other construction plans, as well as general document printing. Their prices are MUCH LESS than the usual chain store printers/copiers, and the customer service is cheerful and intelligent.

Jamila Jenkins: Hands down one of the friendliest and prompt printing places in DC. Used blue boy printing in College for Architectural print and now in the my professional career. Order things early in the morning and can have them couriered by the end of the day or before I leave and have them as soon as they open in the morning.

Temitayo A: I went to this FedEx location because of the positive reviews. I was not disappointed :). The location was clean, organized, and had a lovely selection of various items to shop for while I waited for my book to be unbound and spiraled (5 minutes). They even gave me a box for my book at no cost. The FedEx employees were warm, welcoming and helpful. While I have other UPS and FedEx locations around me, I will be coming back to this one and recommending it to others.

There was a bit of confusion to begin with, and it was a little hectic (they could definitely benefit from having more than 2 people on staff, maybe they usually do?). From the start I mentioned that we were flexible on paper types and colors knowing that supply chain issues from the pandemic hit the printing industry hard. We asked only to see what paper they had in stock, they brought us the standard catalog without telling us so we had to wait for them to order and receive the paper. When there was a delay they did not communicate the delay to us until we called the day they told us the project would be complete. We had a booklet style and were told that the covers were complete so we told them we would stop by on Monday to pick those up, pay them for their work, but we were going elsewhere to finish the project after the complete lack of communication. She then quickly changed her tune and said that only 50% of the covers were complete. When I challenged her on her statement not 2 minutes ago that they were done she changed the subject and proceeded to tell me "you obviously know nothing about printing". At this point I had to walk away and let my fiance deal with the situation. The woman at the shop continued to double down on her stubbornness and ended the conversation by telling us that she wouldn't even give us what had already been completed. I don't know if someone else at the shop overheard the conversation or she had a quick change of mind, but not 5 minutes later she called back and agreed to at least give us what had already been printed. The work we did get from them was beautiful. It's a shame that attitude and communication got in the way of completing the project

Alexei Kolesnikov: Excellent printing shop. We had a very small order, black and white prints on regular paper and they are set up for much bigger and fancier jobs. The shop is choke full of printing and binding machinery. Our copies were done in about 5 minutes. While we waited, spoke with one of their long-time customers who was picking up some booklets. Highly recommended!

Rachel Max: KKP in Georgetown was great in March when I had a poster printed but my recent experience was pretty bad. I sent a file for printing, I was patient as they were waiting on a delivery of toner. A little over a week later I picked up my poster and the quality looked great however it had been printed too big - instead of 24x20 - it was 29x24. I double checked my artwork - an Illustrator file, with a 24x20 inches art-board including margins. I emailed about the mistake. Perla said they had done is right and she had measured it herself...(?) She said they would reprint which was nice but she didn't understand that I wanted margins (?) so I called to discuss. I was met with a defensive attitude. She put their designer on the phone who confirmed my file was set up right and he didn't understand what the problem was either. We got cut off, I called back to finish up. Perla answered and honestly, I haven't been treated that rudely in a long time. She was so aggressive. I had to raise my voice to try to be heard but she wouldn't let me get a word in. Result? Cancel my order and and issue me a refund. I'll find somewhere else to print my poster correctly without the attitude. Bye bye KKP.

Morgane Barry: If you need anything printed you have to use KKP in Georgetown. I have had them do my prints for my wedding and everything has been top quality and timely. So far they have done my save the dates and invitations. Extremely happy that I have one less thing to worry about planning my wedding because working with them has been great!

Andrew Sexton: Edit: I think the business owner's response to my review tells you everything you need to know about their level of customer service. All customer communication will be conducted through paypal invoice messages. Dropped off a t-shirt on the 18th of December to get a Direct-to-Garment print. Asked the employee if they could have the job finished before the 24th and they were unsure, but confident. They promised to let me know if there were any issues because this was a semi-last minute Christmas gift and as such, a time sensitive job. Fast-forward to the 22nd, I have not heard anything from them so I had to give them a call. They had issued a refund to my PayPal account on the 19th, but nobody informed me what was happening. Talk about a pure lack of customer service. This ruined our Christmas gift for this particular person. Needless to say, I'm sure there are other similar businesses in the metro DC area that also offer screen printing with competitive pricing. A quick Google search should suffice anyone dubious after reading this review. Maybe they should remove Direct-to-Garment services from their website...

Frances O'Hanlon: I can't tell you enough about the excellent customer service I received at KKP! I ordered Baby Shower invitations from Etsy and needed them to be printed. I've never heard of KKP before but after a quick google search and readings reviews I sent them an email with file attachments of the invitations. Within 24 hours I received a response with feedback and the invitations were ready for pickup the next day! Not only are they absolutely adorbale and exactly what I wanted, but they recommended the perfect envelope to match! Also, when I went to pick them up AJ was the nicest person and made my customer experience lovely! Will definitely use KKP for all printing needs in the future and will absolutely recommend to everyone! Thank you Tom and AJ and KKP!

Julie Haidemenos: We came to KKP with a really dinky project -- just needed help printing six small signs on quality card stock with quality ink to use in a photo album. Unless Verizon cell towers are wrong it’s 5:58 but of course she could care less and through the other side of the glass threw her hand in my face and walked away. Class A Customer service if you ask me. Especially when half of us don’t have jobs right now you think the ones that did would be a little more helpful. anthony danks: Out side tables available with seating 6 feet apart. A range of good sandwiches croissants and some pastries. It roast it's own beans but I find the coffee to bitter. I prefer compass caffe per Peets. But it is a pleasant place to sit covered if it rains.

Lisa Thompson: They saved me!!!! I was trying to obtain visas from the Brazilian consulate around the corner. I was in DC for one day! I needed copies of my fellow passengers' drivers licenses (I had them on my phone), and I needed confirmation that we had flights in/out of Brazil. That was iffy because I had yet to make any airline reservations. Frank saved the day! It was 10:55 am and the consulate stopped issuing tickets (like DMV) at noon. While Frank was copying the licenses. I was frantically making $5200 worth of airline reservations- proof of which also needed to be printed out once I got them. They did it!!!! And they charged me 5 bucks! I told them to make it $10 because they were going to save the day! They made it $5 and I got my visa applications approved! It would not have happened without their help and I would have had to drive 400 miles round trip to come back to the consulate. They are awesome!!!!

Nils Hünerfürst: A little bit goofy but staff is friendly and the copy service works great.

Evie Callis: Consider carefully selecting a notary at this location who will actually do their job correctly. My experience is that a particular notary decided her need to be right (when she was absolutely wrong) outweighed her ability to do her job correctly, or even allow for a simple correction to fix her mistake. She totally botched up a very very important legal document that needed to be recorded by not signing her own name correctly and cost many people a lot of stress, time and money. Overall, she had a bad and surly attitude and it did not even occur to her to offer anyone an apology. In addition, no effort whatsoever was made to correct this egregious error - which was actually an option. All that was offered was arrogance and contempt.

Jenny Richardson: I was having trouble locating a package I sent from Georgia to D.C. Matthew took the time to listen to me and help me even tho his store was not involved. If I lived in D.C., this is definitely where I would give my business. Matthew knows what he is doing and is willing to be helpful in a world where no one wants to offer personal customer service any more. Many thanks!!!

I was filling out my student visa forms, needed a couple of them notarized, and needed to make copies. Zoe Lu: Update: package delivered several weeks later.. still don't know why glitch happened but the store manager apologized profusely. Appreciate this follow-up and revised rating. Original post: I was waiting to leave this review to see if the store would be reasonable to help me resolve this issue, but it seems they refuse to take accountability for their part. I had a package shipped here since my building has been experiencing package theft. I went into the store to pick up my package a few hours after receiving the notification that it was ready but the store was unable to locate it. Their system showed some weird error so I had to pull up the information on my end which showed that an employee named Matt scanned in. Said employee claimed he did not scan it in and someone else had logged it under his name. Since they couldn't find the package they assumed it was accidentally loaded onto a truck for delivery. I waited two days and they never called me back to say if the package came back in. When the clerk looked it up, system now claimed recipient refused the package and it was on a truck somewhere. He also mentioned that I was the second person with this issue that week. I called UPS customer service as instructed and it went nowhere. The automated system told me package was returned, when I got through to the customer service rep she couldn't even locate the tracking number and despite repeating the digits, she had no record. She told me to contact the store again or ask for the shipper to resend. I contacted the store again and they tried to pawn me off on UPS corporate even though it was an error on their end. A manager has yet to return my phone call regarding reimbursement. UPS corporate refused my claim because of "store error". In the end, the shipper is resending the package and filed a complaint on my behalf because THEIR system shows a delivery delay. Frustrating to know the store refused to acknowledge their role and claimed that since they're "independently owned" they shouldn't be held liable. What is the point of access points if our packages won't make it to us?

Maria Cooper: Community Printing: What a terrific neighborhood service! It's a "hidden gem." Was in a jam and needed to get some printing done for my open house. Came across this service online. Was able to e-mail my document to them for printing at such a reasonable price. Very responsive. Unfortunately for me, I missed the deadline for picking up job and they were able to accommodate me, after closing hours on a Saturday (I was actually close by at the time.) Final product was clean and crisp and professionally done. I will definitely be using them again.

David F: Community Printing is a great place to go if you need business cards or sending faxes(the only things I've ever needed them for). They are far cheaper than any other brick and mortar location and much more convenient than ordering online. Jason is polite, courteous and hilarious. I would highly suggest this place to anyone.

Rachel Zurer: Very easy to work with and did a quarter-cut, double-side flier for me for WAY cheaper than OfficeMax or FedEx has in the past. Would work with them again in a heartbeat!

Fana Teffera: I did not like their customer service experience. In addition to that they charge $2.50 to just open an email and send to the printer. So, if you have one page to be print, you have $2.50+$0.09. Charging $2.59 for one page is something I found to be quite odd. I have never seen this anywhere but here. So you might have to see other place before coming here, which will save you $2.50 regardless.
